REVIEWS OF NEW Zoo & Adventure Park IN Corner Brook

I love going here annually on my birthday. Perfect time of the year. Even during the fall months there is still plenty going on and animal activity.

C C

We were there the last weekend in April. The zoo has a lot of various animals. Kind of fun to feed the giraffes. The one thing I noticed was all the ponds were real dirty and probably need to be cleaned and maybe a constant filter system. A nice place to spend a day though.

Tania Huycke-Phillips

Great zoo. Fun. Animals are awesome and the giraffe feeding part was the best!

Christine Fuller

Incredibly cool Zoo with tons to offer! A must place to visit!

Justin Brunner

It was great! Some things were closed but still charged full price? The price should reflect what's open but overall a good experience

Casey Ferguson

Awsome lots to see

Justin Stanelle

Even though we went close to closing hours and it was a gloomy day, my husband and I still had a bunch of fun. We counted how many peacocks we would find roaming about. I think we got to 8 or 9. My personal favorite was the lions. They really kept an eye on the giraffe that roamed its way outside! All in all a great experience.

Dale Raasch

Feeding the giraffe was fun. Not a cheap place to visit. Hated entering through the gift shop, disliked their schemes to make you spend so much on feeding the animals and the cost of beverages. Lots to see but they need to be more user friendly with signs, staff and general information.

Jay R North

Awesome zoo that has great habitats for their animals.

Vinita Elkhair

It was good I liked. Helpful and pleasant staff. Happy animals!

Kayla Klose

It's a fun fill place to take the family. Many cages were empty due to them moving them inside because of the weather getting colder , that's the only reason why I gave it a four star. They were setting up for Boo Zoo, so it was decorated festive for Halloween. The whole family had a great time. Enjoy.

Brandon

Great presentation for the kids, but it rained and they wouldn't let us eat inside, so we had 30 kids crammed in a bus to eat. When the rain died down we couldn't see some most of the animals.. so it was quite a bummer. Would have been much better if they'd at least had an outside shelter.

Arthur Weborg

So much fun! Our baby loved it. I think tamerin monkeys are our new favorite animal. Can't wait to visit in the summer after they've finished the reno!

Hannah Petsche

The animal enclosures were fairly messy and the lion had an injured tail. I overheard some others say that it's been like that for a good while.

Bruce W

Definitely will be coming back. Lots of fun!! VERY CLEAN!!!!!! Employees were very friendly. Food in the cafe was hot and delicious. Lots of things for kiddos to do. Lots of animals to see. Favorite parts were feeding animals and seeing the animals happy.

Dan Ellsworth

Almost all the animals were out today on our visit. Feeding the alpacas and the goats with the grandkids was a riot.

Very kid-friendly, pretty clean (for a zoo), and the animals are all awesome. Perfect place to take kids.

Love the zoo. While it may not be as impressive as the largest zoo's it has a charm all of its own. The animals are healthy, the exhibits are clean and most importantly the staff and volunteers care deeply about their charges.

jeremiah slade

This zoo was so much fun for my kids and I. We normally live down south and frequent the Nashville zoo often, so my kids were absolutely enthralled at how close we were to so many animals at the NEW Zoo! The peacocks roaming were very neat, and being able to feed the goats and giraffes was such a treat. Thank you for such a fun day!

Bob B

My grandchildren love visiting the New Zoo! They all fed the giraffe some lettuce. What a wonderful family experience.

Erica Mayberry

Adult admission price is $11/person. I'm certain children under a certain age get in free. ALL proceeds (admissions, concessions, ext.) stay within the zoo itself! You can purchase different size bags to "mine" for different gemstones, you can feed the giraffe for $1, decent little gift shop. Was just a great place to visit and relax. Bring your walking shoes! This place has a lot to offer it's visitors! Free parking, walking trail, and picnic area outside of the main zoo entrance. Definitely planning on going back again and soon!

Plenty of room to move around. Some spots are closed but still a great reason to get out of the house

Candace Van Veghel

Good small zoo. Most of the larger animals were napping while we were there from 12-2pm.

Carol Wiens

It was 85 degrees today so a little too hot for us and the animals. Will go back again on a cooler day.

Sara Pheil

Thought it was kind of pricey for what was offered but not a bad zoo at all. Really the most disappointing aspect us the level of interaction for the kids petting area. Worth a trip but if you are in a tight budget i would consider elsewhere.

This is a fantastic zoo. I would not plan on a whole day due to size but there is high value for your dollar. There is limited food options but there is a great park across the street for a picnic. The zoo also has fun themed times throughout the year such as "boo at the zoo" and an easter egg hunt. These times the zoo can be busy and require a special ticket but again worth the money. Overall great zoo and a great time.

Sarah Schober

I love this zoo, but this time it was very run down and somewhat dirty and the gift shop was short of stock. I hope to see you soon as before

Randi Stir

Some of the animals were hardly out or even seen in their habitats on the day I went, but I will say the ones that were out were nice to see

M B

The NEW Zoo has expanded a lot over the last few years - I remember my mom and dad used to take me there as a kid and it was just a nice little zoo back then. Now I just took my wife there a few weeks ago and they had added the adventure park and a dozen new animal enclosures since the last time I'd been there! The NEW Zoo is an outstanding place for a family outing, and both kids and adults will really enjoy it! I highly recommend it!

Joel Blackman

Went the family. They have lots of animals& really good food in the consession building. We fed giraffes, goats & alpacas. They have a cute gift shop where we bought a cute lion stuffed animal for our son. Had lots of fun.

Went with 3 kids, under 10, early in the morning and had a pleasant time. It was a fun experience for us all. We ended the trek with the mining experience and was rewarded with some beautiful rocks, fossils and arrowheads!

Al Robertson

Love this zoo. Always clean, animals are well cared for and usually out and about to enjoy. They have lots of areas to sit if you need a rest.

melanie S

AWESOME place to take middle aged kids. The ropes course was fun, the zip line was OK (not worth it in my opinion). The trails and hiking around the new zoo are amazing and well worth running.

Jeff Cloninger

Very enjoyable time. Nice weather and good company.

Chris K

We had a nice pleasant day walking in the zoo. Some Boo Zoo displays were up.as well.

loomis fontenelle

It was alot of fun. Some animals were moved due to the time of year and can't be fed because of covid. They have signs up for social distancing and masks but most people don't follow or read. So if you are taking the pandemic seriously I would say wait until things get better because alot of people who went here didn't follow any guidelines. Not the zoos fault but just a heads up.

Alex Ryczek

This zoo is just right! Spent the day here with the grandkids. Plenty of playground equipment in addition to the animals. The kids can feed the sheep, goats and llamas. There is a air conditioned cafe to have a bite to eat and cool off on those hot days. They have extra events on certain days. Check out their website.

Love the animals as usual, but lots of cool decorations for the Zoo Boo and fun costumes with by kids and adults alike.

Dan Davis

Lots of exhibits and animals to see and the baby monkey is just so cute. Running around, hiding, and getting into mischief.

edward linden

It was super fun and all the animals were out and playing and you can see them all it a really big park with a lot of animals ❤

Always a fun place to go! The animals are usually quite active and are clearly well loved and well taken care of!

Tessa Farley

Love this zoo! Not too big that it takes a long time to walk around but has some great animals. And great habitats for them as well. We come every mother's day as well. Cool decorations for Halloween!!

Christa Busse

Well maintained, I love exhibits for each animal that they have there. Plus, they have a new feature where you are panning for gold but it's polished stones. I would definitely take my kids there again.

Rosie H

One of the best zoos I've ever been to. I love that the animals are well cared for and the grounds are so beautiful. Next year we will plan to try the zip line!

Robin

I'm glad to see the new changes they made there. It's beautiful to see some of the animals out in the wilderness. It's a relaxing place to be. You should check it,like i did. To get away and not to far from green bay wi. There's one thing i need to say about what they do there. That Sweet&Eats place, there sponsoring. Is a big joke, just to build there business. One cone no matter how many people in your group. Not worth stopping.

The zoo is great and is a lot of fun with the family. If you order food at the little restaurant be prepared to wait for 1/2 hour for anything you order.

Teresa Robins

GREAT ZOO and excellent membership prices! I just have to say that I LOVE taking my kiddos to zoos; we've lived in many states and have gone to LOTS of zoos over the years. I think it's such a great opportunity for them to learn and see animals that they would otherwise never get the opportunity to interact with. BUT, I usually feel so sorry for the animals and the small/poor conditions they are kept in. BUT here at New Zoo, I really feel like the animals are taken care of. The enclosures are great, and most have wide open spaces as well as good places to retreat from the heat. Can't wait to come back.

Holly Gonzales

This is a great zoo to visit or join. We have a unique experience every time we go. The best part is feeding the giraffes. I have been a member for two years. In that time the zoo has mad many improvements and has many more planned. I am very exited to see what happens in the future.

Hillary Golden

Small zoo takes about 1-2 hours to go through. Has giraffe feeding, and a nice petting zoo of goats and alpacas.

Wirtz Pictures

I've been visiting the NEW Zoo since the early 90s as a teen. It has always been enjoyable! The folks there are doing great expanding on all the experiences. Lots of space to get your steps, lots of animals to learn about.

Garrett Franklin

The zoo is small, however, the Adventurous Park was awesome. The kids enjoyed ziplining and the rope course.

Liz Popp

This is a friendly little zoo. It is a resource for the Green Bay area. It's a great place for families to visit.

Sara Johnson

Visited the zoo, lunched and did the zip line with 5 grandkids! Everyone had a wonderful time. They had a lunch deal in the restaurant which made lunch for our group very affordable. The zoo is well kept and interesting in the country setting.

Mark Ernst

Great hidden gem located north of Green Bay. They feature a large variety of animals, displays, food options and you can even buy food to feed some of the animals.

Connie Greenawald

I wish there was more to see. Definitely go when it is cooler out. All the animals hide when it's hot out.

Carla Rush

Great family fun... They allow service dogs but had to make sure zoo animals r safe too even thou my service dog is allowed any where I go... I totally understand their position as well as mine privacy... We had so much fun... Thank u staff of the zoo..

Robert Wiltzius

Impressive zoo for a city this size. Some very nice areas but kept from being 5 stars due to cleanliness and some exhibits are in need of major updating or look abandoned completely. All of the animals seem to be very well cared for though.

Jalissa Mckenzie

So much to see was able to touch the goats and feed the graffiti had lots of fun nice place to visited for the family.

Very Oliver Raft

Awesome little zoo. The cooler temperatures brought out all the animals. Even the racoon was out on top his tree stump. The giraffes and red pandas were a favorite today. Lots of special things going on for world giraffe day.

Carla Mertins

Loved it didn't like that we couldn't feed food to the animals in the feeding area goats etc

Amber Whiting

We love the N.E.W. Zoo! Great new exhibits, the train! The super hero guys were great today! Friendly and always ready for a picture with the kids!! Always something new and exciting!

jay gillis

Awesome zoo. They are expanding and have a ton of different events for the public. I volunteer here from time to time and have a blast. You can also feed goats and giraffes here and the little ones always have fun. We can spend around 2 hours just walking around the whole zoo.

Stacy Schwartz

Not very many animals and a lot of animal habitat closed. Not impressed for cost of admission

Robert Allen

Ken Peterson

it's just far away enough from people that you could feel immersed in nature here. streams and trees and bike trails nearby.

Marshall B

The zoo itself was great! However, some of the staff, especially in the Mayan Restaurant were quite rude. We felt as if we were inconveniencing them. They don’t seem quite cut out for customer service.

Daniel Graves

Matt Peeters

This Zoo continues to grow and impress with each passing season. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the animals seem comfortable in their environments. My daughters love feeding the giraffes and playing in the prairie dog tunnels. The gift shop has a variety of merchandise that caters to young and old alike.

Aaliyah Yin

Got 3 wood ticks on us not that's the zoo's fault but it wasn't cool. Lots of empty cages. You cant bring food or drink in and the restaurant wasn't open. Wouldn't go again.

Jake Lightner

Great family activity. Staff are really helpful and patient, and the ropes course is reasonably challenging for everyone. Definitely do the zip line! Memberships are only $200 for up to 6 people for a year - great value if you plan to do it more than once!

Daniel Rush

Around 85% of the visitors today were NOT wearing masks and one guest was coughing frequently, which kind of ruined the fun atmosphere. We maintained our distance, but COVID-19 can linger in the air when an infected person coughs and there is no breeze. Go at your own risk, knowing that most visitors will not be wearing masks. The only reason we went is because we thought everyone was required to wear a mask due to the mask mandate. The zoo was pretty nice, some areas where closed, but overall a lot of animals to see. A concern was that the alligator only had a very small area to swim in relative to its size.

Robert Nelson

Everytime I go to Green Bay, this is one of my stops. Much bigger than you would expect, and continues to grow. The animals look content and the staff are very helpful.

Alana VDL

Always a fun time for the whole family, reasonably priced. Strollers available to rent for cheap and they were clean! The kids loved the petting zoo part, the park equipment to play on, and feeding the giraffe! We ate there too and they had good deals for food!

Nikolas Gray

Nice zoo. It's just the right size. Easy to see everything in just a few hours.

Christian Rogers

Zoo has seen better days. Unsure if it is due to lack of funds or volunteers or both. Simple things like paint, or stain would help. A hornet/wasp nest was in one of the lion viewing shelters, warnings were posted that it was being addressed. I get some of the habitats would need daily cleaning of the glass, but they seemed to be neglected for some time. Not a place to visit during hot summer days as most of the animals are hiding to keep cool. Popular attraction was the giraffe feeding. Which a crowd was gathered. Otherwise it was easy for us to navigate the zoo during our weekday visit.

Christine Hartley

NEW Zoo is consistently improving and becoming more and more worth visiting. Be sure to go during giraffe feeding times for a great experience, also try to go on a cooler day or early in the day (close to 9 if possible) to see the animals moving around. Once it gets warm the animals generally get less active. The ropes course and zip line are great as well and if you're up for it, gice it a try. The whole package takes about 1 and a half hours if you're able to move through the ropes at a fair pace.

Nick Jones

We had a very nice time at this park. It is generally an affordable place. The kids were able to feed the giraffes for a reasonable $1 fee and could have “met” them for free. Plentiful parking is across the street and fairly convenient. This was a nice visit for our four kids and we recommend it. The cost was $9 for adults and $6 for children three and over.

E&K Lintner

Such a cute little zoo! 2 hours is the perfect amount of time to wander around and visit each animal. The moose was for sure the coolest part. Overall it's a bit clutter-y looking, but come on--admission for January is $5, how can I complain?

Brian Balfour

We have been in the heat, the rain, and during beautiful weather, and we always have a great time! My kids love feeding the animals in the petting zoo, feeding the giraffes, and seeing the otters swim.

Oscar Santiago

Very well kept, nice local zoo. The animals all seem quite content and they have large enclosures that are clean with lots of toys. Especially the birds had lots of toys. We fed the giraffe, which was fun. You can also feed the penguins, but we missed the time for that. Fun for kids and adults.

Sara Z

Always love bringing our kids here!

Emma Knueppel

Great little zoo. Lots of animals. Easy to see it all in half a day. Feed the giraffes!

Jason Poeske

Nice medium sized zoo great family option and activities for all ages. If I was a giraffe I would have a hard time sleeping with the Lion compound next door but they appear happy.

Amerin4u D

Beautiful grounds, well laid out, nice array of animals.

Mike Thomas

Zoo had alot of animals were off site or not there yet! The ponds and water holes they had were gross with moss an green stuff all over it. Most of the water fountains were not even working or on. Kind sad to think these poor anmials are in cages all day and can't even have clean pond water. For being a small zoo it was ok but it would have been better if things were cleaner.

I really love this zoo. Great amount of animals like lions, giraffes, deer, bear, moose, emus and more.

Shaun Yonts

Could use change machines and updated vending machines decent price for the size food is lacking quite a bit. nice workers. lots of animals not out from winter yet. Lots of peacock poop. Cute gift shop. We will be back soon. Love to feed the giraffes

Amanda Lauver

Beautiful zoo, smaller than most but still have giraffe, bison, otter, lion, panda, and other exotic animals. Cant beat the price! Good pit stop on a long road trip to north.

Matt Jorgenson (Northeast WI Living)

I grew up going to this zoo & the evolution has been something amazing. Seriously one of my favorite places on this earth. Good mix of animals, easy walking, surrounded by wooded paths. Alot of nostalgia for me personally, your results may vary.

Allanon Akabane

We had a great time there, loved that is was not crowded and it felt peaceful.

Stephen Eagle

We went on a hot day so that factors in but my wife and I weren't impressed and in the two hours we were there we feel like we barely saw the animals and there's quite a few that just weren't out. But we'll be back on a better weather day and see how that goes

Zachary Gagliano

Wonderful zoo. Family friendly and plenty of space so people aren't on top of each other.

Adam

Smaller zoo but nice variety of animals. Signage is great. Even have a chance to feed the giraffe. There is even a separate area, an adventure park. Zip line, rock wall climbing and ropes course. The staff is courteous and patient.

Margot Flynn

Loved the layout of the zoo and variety of the animals. A lot of the glass displays/tanks in the exhibits could use some Windex. The restaurant is yummy as well with great pricing. The bathrooms kinda smelled and could use a deeper cleaning along with the eating area in the restaurant. Gift shop was nice with fair pricing but it seemed like a lot of the clothing was out of stock. Over all I loved it and my kids did also. Thanks for the wonderful time.

S. M.

For the area this is a nice little zoo. It kept clean and has ample parking. I haven't used the adventure park or trails but seems like there is good amount trails given the size. I wish it had a little more to offer animal wise but it has come a long way since I moved here so they are working on it.

Theresa Grovogel-Schmal

I loved seeing all the animals, and my baby cousin loved the little water area and park! It's a great place for kids. The gift shop was nice too.

Angela Vandenlangenberg

Great little place to take the kids. Can't wait for some of the new exhibits they have planned to come.

Deanna Lee Kluchko

This zoo was by far the best I've been to the animals are very well cared for the exhibits are really cool and well suited for them really nice place to visit especially in the morning when all the animals are active

Kate Pointer

Great variety of animals. Very clean. Super kid friendly. Excellent info on the signs. Open year round. Nice bathrooms. My only criticism is that it would have been nice to have a room for moms to nurse or pump. Feeding the giraffes was amazing!

Jay Young

Amazing as always. Wish the cats and moose and bears were out to where we could see them tho. Still a fun place to go and get outta house.

Lis bry

Went for a family vacation. Not a really large zoo, easily tackled in an afternoon, but had lot of animals. The wandering peacocks and the are you can get up close and feed the giraffes were my kid's favorite.

Mandy Jansen

A wonderful little zoo. They have a diverse display of animals from goats and white tail deer, up to giraffes and red panda. Lots of birds too! It's small enough to see it all in an hour or two, but entertaining enough to be worthwhile. Great place to stop on your way to Door County.

Bic Parker

Nice variety of well cared for animals. Some of the enclosures are so large and natural that the critters might be hard to locate. There is a beautiful display area for river otters, but alas the otters were in hiding. A baby macaque was a hit, as well as the penguins. The aviary allows close contact with birds, but a rather belligerent one-eyed pelican reached through the grates and grabed our four year old by the leg. He was not injured, just somewhat terrified. The bubbles allow children to go into the colony with prairie dogs and the badger. Well done! Admission is half price after 4 pm on Wednesday.

Sarah Hansen

We came here during the winter months and when it was snowing. Sadly a lot of animals were off exhibit which is understandable but the ones on exhibit were all out having a blast and my kids thought it was fun seeing the animals play in the snow. We interacted with a lot of staff too abd they were all super friendly.

Denise Schroedl

Favorite zoo in the state!!! Clean, never crowded, and in and out in about 2-3 hours, which is perfect for my little ones. Love this place!!

lisa phillips

Yesterday, we visited, and I have to say it was a great time to visit. It wasn't busy, not too hot, not too cold, and we were able to view all the animals without crowding. A plus was the lion roaring in his pen. You can hear it from far away, very cool!!!!

Very reasonable price, lots of animals and areas to explore. Indoor buildings for some air conditioning through out. Play areas for the kids and benches throughout to sit.

Joseph Perricellia

Nice staff and lots of shaded areas. Playground for kids who need to get out energy. Some of the exhibits are small and in progress/down for renovation though.

Suzie Frosch

My son loved it. He especially enjoyed the peacocks walking around.

It is a very nice zoo! Lots of the animals were out and that was very nice! Had lots of fun!

Amber Simons

Very nice place to spend a day with the kids. The adventure park area suits kids 8 years & older. It's always nice to find activities that even younger kids can participate in. My 9 year old loved the zip line & climbing course.

Butterfly Wings

Love the new prairie dog exhibit. Couldn't let the goats or feed them. Hopefully next time.

Rickie Meeuwsen

We love this place. We've gone for years and every year it gets better. It's affordable. They have a great variety of animals, including lions and giraffes you can feed! It's great affordable fun for the whole family.

The Mutaka

The visit to the New Zoo was very good. There was plenty to see with the grandkids.I think that there was too many visitors durning the pandemic. It was nice to see that most people were respectful wearing mast and trying to keep their distance.Thank You very much.Cann't wait until warmer weather gets here so all the residents will be able to come out and see the visitors that come to see them.Looking forward to our next visit,Thank You.

Daniel Cape

We had a great time. The animals were delightful and the zoo was clean and inviting. It is always worth the time to visit.

Andrea Devroy

The zoo was AMAZING! The animals were amazing and the rope course and zipline were awesome. The lady at the front desk was so rude that it made us contemplate on not coming back. Would love to come back, but the staff needs to learn proper customer service

Jennifer Bass

1st time here with our daughter, a little pricey but the smiles on her face made it worth it!

Andy & Amber Smocke

This an amazing place, I've been to alot of zoos. But this one seems so much more personal. The Mayan restaurant is so moderately priced. For 3 people to eat, 2 adults one child we only spent 20 for full meals. We will definitely be returning here as often as we can.

Chuck Shurlow

The new zoo is affordable and offers and entertainment and learning experience for all ages.

Keegan Purple

Went late afternoon so many animals were sleeping. But the lions were awake & laying directly infront of glass viewing area! Male lion is enormous!

Chris Risberg

Our grandchildren loved this zoo.

David

This is a very nice small Zoo. The main attraction are the giraffes and the lions. You can feed the giraffe for a dollar. It's a little expensive for one piece of lettuce but is part of the cost of upkeep. They have a number of farm type animals for little kids to pet. The restaurant is very minimal. Response to owner: $1 for one leaf of lettuce is on the high side, especially considering the price of a whole head of lettuce. Perhaps the gentleman passing out the food was acting on his own? You have a captive audience with the little kids wanting to feed the giraffe (pun intended).

Mary DuBoulay

Great zoo, nicely laid out, food on site.

Edith Schmitt

The Boo Zoo was really fun!

Mystress Bree

It is a nice zoo, but last time I was there four years ago or five years ago, not positive. It was donations and now it's $11 per person.

Tim Fleury

No wait

Kaitie Ketterer

Perfect size for an afternoon trip. We've been here a couple of times. The layout of the zoo is logical and is overall very well maintained.

J W

Great zoo but not all exhibits were open due to under staffing, it's a crying shame, people just don't want to work!!!!!

Eclipse ofmyheart

I was so surprised at how nice it was. The price was cheap and the gift shop had all sorts of things for all ages. I absolutely loved a t-shirt so much I bought it for my dad as it was a penguin Beatles reference. The zoo had so many cool animals like red pandas, moose, parrots and so many more. I cannot wait to go again.

Becca Diestler

Loved it. Great weather. My 5 year old loved it. We come here many times a year

Karen Petersen

Had been here for a Fieldtrip. Decided to make the 40 minute drive and have my daughter's birthday party here. Paid $250 for up to 15 people. Everything is included! Yes, everything!!! Cake, party gift bags, plates, drinks, activities...everything! All we had to do was show up. We fed giraffes and pet their huge noses. Cheered for the otters doing backflips. Touched an armadillo. Toured the zoo. Made giraffe hand puppets. This was awesome!!! I highly highly recommend!!!

Price for adult entry

Shawn Lilianstrom

This is an inexpensive zoo. Being a small zoo, there are no elephants. The last 2 times that I visited, the train and carousel were not running. That was disappointing. Lunch prices at The Mayan restaurant are quite reasonable . The highlight for me is watching my grandchildren feed the giraffe and goats. My older grandchildren enjoyed the zip line.

Diane Mike Weyer

Perfect to cover in half a day. There are some food options and a couple play areas for the kids, just in case they didn't walk out all their energy. Plus, there is a little park across the street, in the parking lot, where you can have a picnic lunch.

Jessica Follebout

My wife and I brought our infant son here for the first time, and we were very happy with our experience. Parking is free, entry is only $9 per adult and children under 2 are free. There are numerous things for youngsters to enjoy, and we look forward to bringing our lil guy back.

Pedro Sarsama

Great zoo, really well done for a mid sized zoo, lots to do with kids. Great value

Tamara Taylor North

Great family adventure park, lots of animals ,nice picnic area across the road

Julie Brown

My sister from TX was visiting. And we have not been there in a long time. Her grandkids liked it. I thought maybe something would of changed. As far as the animals go. But they were pretty much the same. The zoo is very clean.

thelazywombat 13

The wife and I had a great time here... zoo is bigger than we expected and feeding the giraffes was awesome

David Pritchett

This is a small zoo so it's perfect for little ones. There's not too much walking. You can feed giraffes and get close to many animals. It's also not too expensive. There are play structures throughout the zoo that are perfect for kids.

Beau Mcdougal

The zoo itself was decent. It was a very family friendly atmosphere and it was definitely a great way to spend a Sunday. We thoroughly enjoyed all the animals and activities despite some of the more “interactive” features being closed due to covid. The concession stand employees however, were not so great. It was fairly busy and the lines were long, which is expected on a nice day but they were extremely rude. From the person working the cash register and taking orders to the other employees making the food and getting drinks. All were very short with every customer and rude. I’m not sure if it was Abigal’s first customer service job, but she should really try and be nicer and at least act like she cares. Every question that was asked about the menu was met with the unwillingness and snarky comments. Almost as if we were inconceiving her by asking about the menu. It was very off putting and it really ruined the whole experience.

This Zoo was a great time with the family! Some animals were quite hard to see but everything else was fun! I recommend feeding the giraffes when you go which are certain times throughout the day.

Cass D

Love that most animals where out, over all didn't take long to go threw the whole park. Fun for whole family!)

RW 3012

Great, affordable zoo close to Green Bay. There have many attractions as well as the popular ability to feed giraffes and a small farm type area with food to feed them.

It is a smaller zoo but it's charm is undeniable. You have the unique opportunity to feed the giraffes and the moose habitat is pretty sweet. Definitely appreciate the effort to keep the environments quite natural looking.

Hadley Mackenzie

I FINALLY had my dream come true and got to feed the giraffes???? the zoo itself is a smaller zoo, but it's still mighty. All the concessions are closed. So are the petting areas. It doesn't take but 45 min to walk through the whole thing.

Audra Smith

My wife and I got to feed a giraffe. Fun time!

The size and price is pretty good. Spending an afternoon or early morning walking the zoo and looking at the animals is always fun. They don't have anything spectacular like you would find a large zoos, but your children should love it anyway. You can wander the zoo, as it really isn't very large, so take your time walking around.

Paula Schultz

We drove 3 hours to get there and I am sorry not many animals and paid 11.00 dollars and gas waisted time and money. Madison zoo is much better and no fee for entrance

We visit this zoo at least once every summer and always on that one randomly beautiful 30° day in late January/ early February Wisconsin likes to surprise us with after months of relentless wind chill. If you can find time to go in the winter, DO IT! The animals are out and sometimes pretty active. Today was our first time going to Zoo Boo for Halloween and it was a definite treat. It was set up quite nicely and really allowed for us to comfortably social distance. Kids really enjoyed themselves. I know it's different from previous years, but we don't feel we missed out on anything. Some of the nocturnal animals were active and trying to find some in the dark made for a really fun new experience.

gary reed

It was a nice family trip, great weather. Easy online ticket ordering.

Carrie Daubner

I absolutely love this zoo. The workers there are very educational and great with kids and the animals look to have decent enclosures and enrichment.

Robert Brumm

The NEW Zoo is a fun place to take kids to and is a great way to spend the afternoon!

Zoey Rouse

It's a nicely done zoo with many different animals to admire. The habitat for the animals is well though out and the well being for the big cats and bear come as a priority. It's a great place to take the family for a few hours.

vlwisconsin

Really fun experience for the whole family. It was really cool to see peacocks roaming cage-free through the zoo. The price is reasonable and gave us fun for about half the day. I would highly recommend!

Dorothy Nottleson

The week before the kids go back to school, my family takes the kids on trips to different places to say goodbye to the summer. I had read good things about the New Zoo so we decided to go. We live just outside of Madison so it was a bit of a drive with grade school children and some toddlers. We enjoyed what we were able to see but were disappointed that we couldn't ride the train, the merry go round or feed the giraffe, all things we told the kids we would do. We understood about the giraffe not wanting to eat (she had just lost her mate the weekend prior) but were upset that we couldn't do the other activities because the students who work there all went back to school. I would think that there would be a plan for this. Does that mean nothing runs until next summer when the student come back?

Matthew Bauman

Best little zoo! Grew up in Chicago and the zoo's there are huge with tons of walking. But this location was great! Big enough for a whole day of fun but in the end we aren't worn out with all the walking. My toddler loved the playground equipment that was available. My 12 year old also enjoyed the penguins. Watching the otters was our favorite. You can even feed the giraffes at this zoo. Admission price was very reasonable.

Nea DallaValle

It was great with 8 residents from an assisted living facility

Moon Shine Metal#

Great zoo, animals there are rehabbing or injured and unable to live in the wild. Normally zoos are super depressing but this one is well kept and great for families.

KILEY BOJARSKI

There’s plenty to see and do here and it’s a lot of fun for kids. Big enough to make a half day of it but there probably isn’t enough to make it worth repeated visits.

Christopher VanOursouw

Animals were active, way cool! Badger, wolves, baby moose. Fun time

Bhuvaneswari Muralitharan

I'm conflicted on how to rate the zoo. In some ways, I love zoos, and I certainly love animals, and seeing them is wonderful. On the other hand, zoos too frequently house animals in enclosures with too little space, house social animals alone, and even mistreat animals in extreme cases. The NEW zoo is no Greenville concrete nightmare, but many of the enclosures seem terribly small, and many animals appear to lack for stimulation. I left feeling sad, mostly.

Always a fun adventure awaiting! I love the interaction and all the upcoming events! Even found some inspiration!

Great value, perfect size zoo for any age! My grandson and I arrived at 4:00 pm, the animals were active and there were not many people. Wonderful afternoon!

Lew Pullen

Always a fun summer staple. We like to take advantage of the 1/2 price Wednesday evenings every summer with the kids. It's as clean and we'll maintained as a zoo can be!

Edmund Jacobs

Great! Saw many animals for being winter. Plus right now it's half price

Travis Brockman

Super fun place kids loved it and so did mom and dad would go back again and totally recommend it

Elizabeth

We were very disappointed with this recent visit. The children's petting zoo was closed, you couldn't go in the goat and llama barn, the giraffe was nowhere to be found and the restaurant was closed. There were many signs up stating "staff shortage" which I completely understand, but it would have been nice for the employee to let us know that before we payed and entered the zoo. If we would have been forewarned we would not have visited. There were also tons of rotting pumpkins, FULL of flies on the border of the walking path that need to be removed ASAP. Not only is that disgusting, but with that many flies they will also be drawn to the animals. Definitely not impressed with this visit.

Jonathan Hoogeveen

For the location and price, it’s a good zoo. Love that no matter when we go, it never seems crowded.

Alicia Collegnon

Been here countless times. Great zoo if you have little kids. It's not so big they get tired and big enough to keep their interest. We will be back when we can.

Michael Covitz

This zoo used to be free with a suggested donation ... now the cost is almost the cost of admission to the Milwaukee County Zoo. Also a lot of the animals were not on exhibit due to the season. Admission rate should at least go down during the winter months since you can't see all the animals. I do feel like they do take good care of the animals that are there though. That is a major pro.

Robert Aho

Great really love all the animals especially those that you may not see around here

Zoo was great. Animals all appeared healthy and habitats were nice. We also did the additional penguin encounter and the staff who gave the demo was great! Hannah did a great job explaining about penguins and seemed genuinely happy to be doing it! Great experience!

Place is a very nice family zoo. Clean and maintain nicely. Went to get a bit to eat and a different story. Wait and wait in line and with the stand to stay open for a hour yet they covered the menu up. When you got up to order a popcorn they were rude to the customers. Be a long time before I think of returning. I will go to the Mikwaukee zoo before returning.

Kayla Matusinec

This is one of the best zoos in northeastern Wisconsin. The way that they exhibit the animals is fabulous. The variety of animals is wonderful too you can see everything from penguins to bobcats and exotic birds to moose. I suggest you stop there sometime and just have some fun with your family and friends make some memories.

Jared Brulla

They take really good care of this place. Last time I was here was 20 years ago, and it looks better than ever now!

Dorothy Savage

Great place for the whole family! Exhibits are great and leave plenty of opportunities to see the animals!

Rodney Phillips

A plethora of interesting animals in a park that's easy to walk. Feed the giraffes- we got to on one's birthday! Food is also good, I strongly recommend the fries and lemonade slush (with discounted refillable cups!)

MarkO DeVoll

This little Zoo just keeps expanding in the right direction. The Adventure park is a nice way to challenge yourself and the Zoo has a nice selection of local and exotic animals. It may not be as big as larger city zoos, but this Zoo is clean and beautiful.

Brendan Castaneda

Nice midsized zoo. The zoo is well maintained and has a variety of animals. The children will love it and so will Mom and Dad. It is worth the drive and price of admission. A big bonus is the parking is free.

headgies life

It was AMAZING!

Scromtar

We always visit the NEW zoo when in the GB area. Animals are close so you always get a good look.

James Eckerle

Always a good time. May not have the variety of big city zoos but it feels a little more intimate. Perfect for like kids. Feeding the giraffe is always our highlight. Lots of activities available on premise and around the park. If you live within an hour or two and haven't visited yet make the time.

Dawn Renard

It was fun. Something different to do

Kathy Schroeder

Petting zoo was closed without notice when we bought our tickets. They don't allow certain types of strollers. Volunteers were great, paid staff very rude. This was suppose to be a highlight for our young kids during our trip, it was a flop. Don't waste your $.

Joy C

Friendly staff. Seemed like a good healthy environment for animals that are caged.

Nate Fietzer

Had a great time at the NEW Zoo today with family. Still trying to meet the giraffe though; he wasn’t out today.

Amber -

Fun time at the zoo

Michael Aschinger

Always clean, always a fun experience! Half priced during the winter but I would gladly pay full price for having such a nice, quality, accredited zoo in our backyard!

Howie Jandrey

Love the zoo! The giftshop which was always amazing was a complete disappointment. It was not stocked as it used to be. There were barely shirts or trinkets. It is common for our group to spend well over $100 but we could barely spend 20.

Tyler Schroeder

I always loved the New Zoo, however I don't know if COVID has impacted it or what it is. First off $38 for a family of 4 to get in is too much. You can buy discounted passes and get into the Milwaukee Zoo for that. Next it seems that there were way less animals than in the past. I only saw 2 otters in the exhibit for instance. A lot of the glass on the exhibits looked like it could use a really good cleaning. It doesn't look like any of the exhibits have been updated in a few years to justify the rising costs.

Leo Loeb

It was clean, staff was helpful, friendly atmosphere, and the animals are so fun! We were able to feed the giraffe, alpaca, and goats. My almost 2 year old was so loving it. It is not a huge, big city zoo, but it has decent animals and enclosures that seem to be cared for. I personally enjoy the rustic feel of the place - natural feeling. It looks like they are in the process of bringing in several new animals too. Since it is still the tail end of Winter, it was a little cold still, so some animals were obviously moved indoors, and they were pretty good at having signs up clarifying that. We ate in the Mayan cafe place and the food was really good at a decent price, and a nice little dining area with a fireplace. I am actually looking into getting a yearly membership so we can keep going. I am also thankful that kids under 3 are free, that is helpful.

D J

Can't get enough of this place. It is huge and seems to go on and on. My daughter loved it (not as much as I). The giraffes are super cool

j andy

Great zoo! Big enough to spend most of the day there but small enough that the kiddos didn't get super tired of walking around (compared to the larger Milwaukee zoo). NEW zoo is a great local option! Peacocks roam freely around the zoo and you can hand feed a giraffe!!! ????

Klarista Spragg

Came with my infant daughter and for 10$ you could not beat it at all, she was able to see all the animals up close and the layout of the zoo is easy to follow, doesn't have as many animals as milwaukee but the cleanliness here is peace of mind and its a very nice place

Kerven Gerard

To start the admission fee is only 9$ per adult, with a great membership program to boot. There are a pair of adorable giraffes to feed for only 1$ per feeding. Certain times of the day allow a V.I.P feeding session valued at 10$ per person. 5 tickets are available per day for each assorted animal feeding. Make sure to reserve the date in ADVANCE! Animals all seem well cared for, if you wish to see more activity out of them, try a cooler day to go. Which will hopefully help optimize your experience.

Andrew Schwalbe

Always like coming to this zoo very beautiful although around this time it's quite sad the place is very lonely due to the pandemic please go visit the animal's ????

This place was once great and affordable for families. The staff is either non existent or extremely rude. Over priced nearly inedible food, not to mention it costs 4 Times more For admission to take your family than only a few years ago. They have less animals now, I'm my opinion go to the bigger zoos to get a real experience. I have noticed that the only 5 start rating is only from local guides. These are my thoughts on the new zoo, have a great day!

Sara S

Staff was outstanding; professional and knowledgeable. Made everything so fun and easy. We did the zip line and rock wall. My 7 and 11 year olds had so much fun on both. Be sure to reserve ahead of time and also sign the waivers to get started nice and quick when you get there.

Stephanie Rackus

I have always loved this zoo since I was a child and it has only gotten better! I love all the hands on exhibitions.

Haunted Abyss (HauntedAbyss)

Today my family and I visited the NEW Zoo & we were pretty disappointed. I feel like we paid to see the lions and a bunch of birds. I grew up going to this zoo and was so excited to share with my family & it felt like a waste of time. Lots of the animal cages were empty, not quite sure what happened to the otters, it looks like it hasn't been used in a while considering how gross the water looked and the amphibian exhibit basically doesn't exist compared to what it used to be. I would have given it 2 stars but the bathrooms were very clean & the walkways were well maintained. Also, if you're not going to allow food and beverages brought in then make sure your vending machines are working, we stopped at 3 of them & all of them spit back our dollar bills, very annoying on a hot day.

Jane C

All the walking areas were great. I was disappointed in the lack of animals available to be seen.

This Zoo continues to grow and impress with each passing season. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the animals seem comfortable in their environments. …

KrystalxWinter

Friendly staff, and fun exhibits. They've added a couple of things since last I was here.

Aislan’s Everything

Everyone I talked to told me this place was amazing. I was very disappointed. We got there about 3, the zoo is open until 8, and I'd say about half of the animals weren't even out. They don't have many animals here either, no elephants, hippos, flamingos, zebras, i saw one monkey. I'd call this place morw of a sanctuary then a zoo.

Carlos Pereyra

i want there on sunday it was fun we saw a red fox birds all kinds of animals before we left we want to the gift shop and got a red fox and now i sleep with we want back to the house and than i want back with my mom to my house

Susan Powers

As others mentioned the glass could use some cleaning. Seems like a popular spot to take kids. Also has extras like an adventure park on site with a zip line which I did not do. Quite a few displays here and staff was nice and knowledgeable.

Martin Lemus

Aug. 22, 2017...First of all, the website said seniors got in free - they wouldn't honor it. Another couple came in and said they read an advertisement in the paper where seniors got in free on Aug. 22nd. The woman at the desk was rude and said "no" that was yesterday. Secondly - we drove 85 miles to this zoo sorry to say it was a huge disappointment. The Bison field had one animal hiding behind a bale of hay, three monkeys had their backs to us, so many exhibits were empty. It was not worth the time at all. On the plus side it was clean. However we will not be visiting any time soon.

Tianna Ellis

The NEW zoo is great! There are tons of different animals and different things to do at the zoo. It is very spacious. Nice and very enjoyable. My favorite at the zoo is the very tall cute giraffe, head to the NEW zoo and go feed him.

fizzylifting spring

I have been to quite a few zoos across the country and this is one of my top favorites. you're able to feed the giraffe a couple leaves for $1 and you can pet them! You cannot touch them at the Milwaukee zoo. The otters were playing in their large pool. I haven't seen so many active animals. And prices to get in are pretty fair. And it is by far the most beautiful zoo I have ever seen. It is out of the city so the trees and quite beauty are just amazing. I will be going back many more times

Ashley Roberts

Disgusted , by how many people are allowed there during a pandemic no social distancing no signs to social districts no mask required and barley anyone wore one. Not only that when asked about limting quantity of people wich there website says they do they are actually not and at pretty much full capacity. There is also no option to social distances when all people are around and packed pretty tightly in the zoo. I will not be coming back. Definitely not safe during the pandemic. There is also no refund if you dont feel safe even though the website makes it seem safer. All in all extremely disappointed on how they handle this especially with all the risk there putting on kids and older people and the animals.

Big zoo had some local and non local animals there they do events too

Annette Hultman

Very disappointing. No exhibits of a learning nature were open. Animals all appeared to be bored. I was there with 2 of my grown children & 4 of my grandchildren. We arrived around 1030am or there abouts & left around 3pm. The otters & the peguins wee the highlight of our trip.

Jeff Herlache

For the size of this zoo it is quite impressive! They have tons of animals anything from a penguin to a snow leopard and all in a well maintained little area. I go here at least once a year with family and would recommend it to anybody!

red man

My friend and I went to the Adventure Park early in the morning on a Sunday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff we're all super knowledgeable and reassuring, and know how to do their job safely and make sure you have fun. Special shout out to Taylor and Tom who encouraged us through the Ropes Course. Taylor kept us motivated and smiling and laughing from the moment we were approaching the building to start for the day, until we were getting ready to leave. And Tom did amazing helping us navigate when we were unsure of how to complete an apparatus, as well as being patient and helping us get the courage to do the quick jump. The staff here made the experience so much more enjoyable, and I have spent the past week talking it up to nearly everyone I know. Cannot recommend enough.

Jami Melendez

We're from out of state, and it was our first time to the NEW Zoo! Amazing experience and reasonable price for a ticket. They had by far the best otter exhibit I've ever seen, with multiple waterfalls, slides, and a large open air environment. And the goat bridge! What a unique zoo to explore. Fully recommend to anyone in the area. We'll be back on our next trip here :)

michael smet

Terrific community zoo! My favorite is to get up close and feed the giraffes! Kids love the zip line at the Adventure Park. Zoo Boo in October is WONDERFUL! Take aw a LK through the reforestation Camp in fall or cross c o untry ski in winter. An ALL Seasons place to play!

Dianne Kaczmarski

I like the New zoo better than Milwaukee's zoo. Super clean, lots to see and really good food.

Cameron Vaught

I enjoy going there with family and we always have a blast...

Angie Mondroski

We started visiting the NEW zoo years ago, it's very impressive to see the progress and continuous care of the animals, along with having a future plan for the growth and development. Of the zoos that I have visited this is my favorite, even though it's not the largest zoo. It's a worthwhile trip for any animal lover that lives in the area.

Joseph DeWitt

I really like this zoo. It does not have all the big animals, but you get a really intimate experience. You can get fairly close to the animals and they give you enough info about the different animals. A zoo is hard to rate. You can't hold it against the business if the animals are not out, but I would say each time I've been there I've seen about 90% of the animals and my stay is about 3 hours. One suggestion I would have is to tell visitors about the animal itself like, what is the animal's name, how old is the animal (or a guess), and gender.

Emily Piontek

30 percent of the exhibits were closed and most animals were not visible for easy by small children. Not very clean looking, not very impressed.

Dewey Hoffman

I think this zoo was awesome, I can't wait to see them expand out, the animals seem like they had plenty of space, there was peacocks ???? walking around that was pretty cool.

Justin Griffin

Going in the beginning of spring isn't as fun as when all the animals are out. I'm looking forward to returning in warmer weather and trying the ropes course/zip line.

Bob Thompson

Very well kept grounds and great friendly staff!! Highly recommend!

Jen Taylor

Had a blast seeing all the animals today!! The heat had most of them looking for shade but you could still find most of them. Cant wait to go again!

Mike Phillips

The zoo is peaceful this time of year. There are a few animals out. We took our grand kids and they loved it.

Dianne Holznecht

Nice zoo ,animals seem well cared for.

Boots Quebec

Its a small zoo but not overly crowded. Its cool in the sense that a lot of the exhibits are built into the forest around the zoo. The cost is fair. I definitely recommend feeding the giraffes if the opportunity arises!

Colleen Radtke

A hidden gem. A deceiving size, it may look small, but there are a huge amount of animals. Not expensive. Snack shop inside park has carnival food like options. free parking and spaces to picnic. adventure park on site for additional activities.

Steve Hellmann

Great place for a relaxing walk to see the animals. Had lunch at the Cafe, reasonably priced for a zoo.

The NEW (North East Wisconsin) Zoo offers the mixed feeling of a city zoo in a rural area. There is no charge for parking and admission is very affordably. They are also open year round. The zoo is nestled in the Brown County Reforestation Camp, which also includes a park across the street, biking trails, and even an adventure park. The adventure park includes a wall climbing tower and zip line. Visitors can feed goats, sheep, and even giraffes. The zoo features the red wolf and an albino alligator, which isn't found in may zoos.

This zoo was a disipointment to me. I drove two and half hours north to see a zoo smaller than my backyard. Why do you guys seriously have only one of each animal? The black bear there looked so lonely, it was going nuts. It was so lonely, it was pacing in circles. You can see how it's been do that for a long time, since theirs a huge circle dug into the ground. The people who work there are nice. You guys just need to get more animals.

Troy Van De Hei

Beautiful zoo. Only AZA zoo not city-funded. Close enough to be a quick drive to visit. Open year-round. There is an entry-fee, but it's reasonable. A good variety of animals and they are well cared for.

Danielle Iglesias

Very nice smaller zoo. Variety of animals. Wednesdays half price from 6-8pm. Good for kids, not huge to walk around. Kids area to pet and feed, sheep, goats. 2 play areas for kids too.

Bobbi Mueller

This a perfect sized zoo. Getting to feed the giraffe was super cool and the line to do it was very long. It was big enough to make it a day but not to big to and you were totally exhausted at the end.

Steven H-man

We visited the New zoo and adventure park today. We went zip lining which was fun. The ropes were pretty challenging. The zoo is very nice. All the animals are all taken care of very well. The park has lots of benches throughout which was nice for my older parents. The best was feeding the giraffes. Staff were all very friendly. I would recommend it if your in the Green bay area.

Jimmy Jewson

This is an excellent and very well maintained zoo. There is enough here to keep both the younger and older kids interested. Our younger two loved the play areas and our older son loved following the map to find the animals. Feeding the giraffe was the highlight for all of us!

Kathy Hyman

Wonderful zoo. The exhibits are a perfect balance of animal comfort and a great viewing experience for guests.

Derek Schimming

Its not as it was years ago. Boring, my 4 yr old niece was ready ti go after 10 mins of waking thru. The only thing they really liked was the police car, ambulance, and the water sprinklers. Most of the main attraction animals (penguins, otters, etc) weren't even out.. it was a waste of money.

Maria A Sanchez Rosado

Awesome night for the zooboo, really great Halloween displays and set up nicely.

Christena Graveen

A lot of fun for families. The zoo isn't overly large, perfect distance for young kids. Spent about 1 1/2 to 2 hours at a leisurely pace. There's peacocks roaming freely which is exciting. Exhibits include farm animals, bears, monkeys, otters, prairie dogs, wolves, and lots of birds as well as many others. You can also feed many of the animals, including the giraffes. There's an elevated stand allowing you to meet face-to-face with the giraffes. Also, children and teens may enjoy the adventure park. I didn't go, but could see a Zipline and climbing tower. During our visit, a zoo attendant (Hope) was walking around with a ball python. She was very nice and knowledgeable, allowing children to pet the snake! Definitely a great afternoon with the family. It was a warm day, so many of the animals were hiding in the shade, but I think we were able to see all but one or two animals.

Matt Thiel

Super fun visit 1/1/2020, first time there and during January and February it 1/2 off admissions. Still were able to see 98% of the animals (a few were in their indoor dens hiding) awesome experience feeding the giraffes, also the fox likes snowballs. The interaction was great! Can't wait to go again in the spring/summer time.

gloomey E

This little zoo was a great find. Feeding the zebra had been on my bucket list for a really long time and it was super. The volunteer inside was kind and very helpful with info. the cute little prairie dog tunnel is so sweet. Would go back again in summer and take grandkids.

Erin Weston

Rebecca Reyes

There is a variety of animals and they are well displayed. The natural settings of many animals makes it very friendly. There are many scheduled feedings and such so be sure to check a schedule to take advantage of them. The giraffe feeding was very interesting and a unique experience.

Cathy LHeureux

When you tour this zoo, you can tell by the condition of their area that the animals are well maintained and truly cared for. Feed the goats in the petting area or take part in feeding their 2 giraffes. There are sanitizing and wash stations available. There are many clean restrooms available, an eatery for food or treats, a gift shop and playgrounds. Enormous value for the price of daily admission, or purchase a zoo pass for the entire year.

Emily Kassien

Watching the kiddos feed the giraffes was awesome! Website and signs made it sound like the zoo was understaffed and some activities were unavailable as a result, but we all had a blast seeing the exhibits and even interacting with animals in the petting portion of the zoo. It's hard to have a bad day after watching some waddling penguins.

Evie Burger

Very nice zoo. Staff was friendly. Feeding the giraffe was awesome!

Bob Kreider

Awesome experience and the animals were all well taken care of, great job guys ????????

Giselbert Parkhurst

What a value! This zoo is nicely maintained, a lovely stroll, and offers value for a family. For the three of us, it cost us less than $30 to enter, feed the goats/alpacas, ride the train, and feed giraffes. The African penguin exhibit is great, that you can see the penguins from many angles and they were as inquisitive as we were!

Roxann Calkins

Not many animals but 3hrs of cool stuff that they do have. Well kept.

Paul Ray

With the help of the staff of the NEW Zoo Adventure Park I just finished hosting a fantastic team outing! The ropes course had various levels of difficulty so we could each challenge ourselves to our comfort level and the zipline was a blast as well. For those on our team who chose not participate, there was plenty of picnic tables under a covered patio to watch and cheer on the group. The staff was also great about getting us the best price for the number of participants we actually had and didn't force us into the group rate that we had estimated. We were also able to bring in a picnic lunch and beverages, which a lot of venues are not nearly as flexible. All around great experience and I received a lot of compliments!

Karen W

It's a really nice zoo and the staff is very friendly. You can feed some of the animals for a bit extra then the $9 entree fee, such as giraffes for $1, along with pelicans, otters and penguins for $10 (order those ahead of time since only 5 tickets of each are sold each day).

Norine Riedi

This is such a fun little zoo with nice exhibits and a great price. For little kids this place is great... Just enough animals to keep them interested but not take all day, ample playsets to take a break and let them run around on, and the chance to feed sheep, goats, and giraffes.

Such a nice zoo! Great playgrounds and activities for children. Loved feeding the giraffe- bring your dollar bills as it's one dollar for one or two leaves to feed them!

Torry Ruddell

One of the saddest zoos I’ve ever been to. Animals are depressing in their extremely small exhibits. They look like they are miserable. And the park was not handicap accessible through out a lot of the park for my grandma literally having to pick up the wheel chair at some points. I feel extremely bad for the animals that live here and the people who come. Visited 6/19/19.

Jesse Sieber

Smaller zoo but the price was fair. The animals were pretty active. The viewing areas felt really close to the animals vs other zoos we've gone to. Not a great view of the giraffe. Minimal amphibians and monkeys. Free parking. The restaurant had really good quality food and a huge menu for fair prices!

Betz WithAZ

Carolyn Tiegs

Great place, easy to navigate with a wheelchair, able to get close to the animals.

Joel Foster

Worth every dollar! Got through it all in a couple of hours. Very hot day with lots of shaded places to sit, easy to do at a strolls place. Great for young and old. Prices in the cafes are reasonable, staff works very hard keeping the park clean.

William Mcpherson

Fun little zoo.

Skip Spencer

We decided to see what animals would be out to visit. Actually more than I thought. The lions were sunning on the rocks. We saw a lone penguin, many peacocks, other winter cats and of course the deer. No otters though. The giraffes we're in their enclosure but still available to be fed. The goats and alpacas were out too. Overall a good walk in the winter sun.

Dorothy Sternard

Wonderful outdoor place to visit especially during the pandemic. The animals are so nice for lityle ones to watch and learn from.. They do not have large crowds during the week. Sanitizer is readily available. We wore masks but some didn't. Still people overall seemed consciously to maintain space. So nice to have a relatively safe place to go.

Mollee M

Such a nice zoo. It's smaller but much more hands-on

Raheim Green

If you have young kids this is a great place to go for the day. It is not a very large "zoo" rather more like a sanctuary. The largest animals they had were giraffes & lions. The important thing is that this is a very well maintained place & the attendants are professional & courteous. There are a couple small places inside you can actually sit down & eat & plenty of vending machines along the way. Put this one on your family bucket list! ❤

Roberta Ramey

Great place to take the family and it won't break the bank. The kids had fun feeding the animals and were excited to see everything. We always like to visit when we're in the area.

Carleen VanDenBusch

Some staff members were a bit rude and a few of the animals deserve a lot better care put into their health, grooming and their exhibit/enclosure.

Ruth Duket

Amazing little zoo, most of the animals are visible even when in their shelters from the heat so it's not like it's pointless to go on a nice day. Staff is friendly. Good mix of local and exotic creatures. More shade on walking paths would be nice though.

Was quite fun! Visited during zoo boo and it definitely is geared more towards kids but was still fun with a friend! Suggest dressing up!!

Steven LaFaver

Great zoo for young kids - plenty of animals they want to see but not too big. We enjoy the day trip and spend at least a few hours here.

Kong xong Thao

Was a lot of fun, plenty of awesome animals to check out. Hope to make it back and try out the ropes course and zip lines.

Stacey Reed

Nice place to have family time of all ages and of course great for the children. Been going here since I was very little myself and now my children. Cool to see new fun things to learn about and see.

Patrick Markham

A cute zoo that is moving right direction. Keep it up!!

Justin S

Went there during the 2020 corona virus pandemic in July and I was absolutely disgusted how they didn't require masks to enter the zoo. I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. The zoo is a great place to go to overall, lots of wonderful animals and exhibits. I just couldn't stay there with kids and adults touching every little thing and fogging the glass of some exhibits by putting there face up to it.

J R

Is there any animals at this zoo?? Most were empty. None of the feeders worked so buy your food for the petting zoo at the front.

Matthew Lawler

The size and price is pretty good. Spending an afternoon or early morning walking the zoo and looking at the animals is always fun. They don't have anything spectacular like you would find a large zoos, but your children should love it anyway. You can wander the zoo, as it really isn't very large, so take your time walking around.

Emily Williams

We visited New Zoo during the 4th of July weekend in 2020. We were the first visitors on a Sunday morning. All the regulations and safety guidelines due to COVID-19 were taken seriously by the administration and the employees. Less visitors made our time at the Zoo very relaxing and pleasant. I’ve taken my daughter to many different zoos around the country, but this little zoo stands out among the rest . It doesn’t feel like a zoo. The woods surrounding the facility create a habitat that seems more natural and suitable for the animals than some of the more popular city zoos. We enjoyed observing wild animals in their relaxed environment. There was enough shade and water sprinklers provided for them , the “cages” were the largest I’ve ever seen. Big thank you to the administration of this zoo for making the animals their priority. Visitors who only care about entertainment are missing the point. This zoo serves as excellent example to teach our children about wild life animals and how to take care of them in the most thoughtful way.

Haley Johnson

Nice place to visit, small but clean.

Rebecca Jeffery

Nice zoo for the kiddos my daughter loves it our first time in Wisconsin

Mary Denson

We went and it took us not even an hour to walk through the entire zoo. Not a lot of animals were out. I understand it's not summer but I was expecting to be there a little bit longer. Also it was really icy all around the park.

Tyler Brandt

Great time, of course not all animals were in the mood to entertain. Definitely will be back. Also the Adventure Park was a lot a fun also, zipline and rock wall. Friendly/knowledgeable staff. I would advise checking the website for hours/rates as well as what time of year certain portions of the adventure park are a available.

Dana Carlson

Not too many people. Good for distancing. Great weather. Saw lots of animals and birds. Beautiful flowers ????..

Val Cline

Super fun. Only $11 entry. More animals than I was expecting

It was superb, lots of fun. Took my daughter over the weekend, we enjoy the great enclosure natural flow of the park. Not to mention getting up close and personal with some giraffe, great for family and everyone alike.

Wow what a great place. An amazing layout and flow as you walk around. Wasn't too many animals to see but also not too little. The animals appear to be well taken care of and seem to be out and about for us humans to see. Great place for kids.

M

Good place to kill a couple hours with the kids. We just moved here from Chicago and purchased memberships. I wish there was more to see as this place doesn't compare to the zoos back in Chicago, but that's also kind of expected. It's still good for what it is. Our daughter has fun while we're there, so that's all that matters. The staff at the front desk are very friendly as well.

Brian Miller

We love this place! :) It's close to home, not a lot of traffic, not usually overcrowded, unless there's a special event, in which case we arrive early and it's small enough that it doesn't take long to venture through. It holds short attention spans of young children well. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and always ready, willing and able to answer questions.

Dee Ramos

So many playgrounds. I can't stand when zoos do this because I wind up spending 30-50$ on admission for my family of four to be stuck at a playground with kids who forgot all about the animals. Only to leave the playground and hear constant whining to go back. Other than that it is a fantasic zoo. Polite employees and huge emphasis on animal welfare. Not too spread out so not too much walking which was super nice on this 85° day. Would definitely stop back.

Jim C

This was alot of fun they had alot of animals was definitely worth the money

Ursula Rastall

We went to the zoo boo and it was a blast!!! The zoo is very clean and the animals are well taken care of. My daughter can't wait to go back to the zoo again. So much to see and do.

Travis Pompa

Variety of animals is great, though I wish the hours for feeding the giraffes was earlier in the day. We were there on a field trip early in the morning (to beat the heat) and the kids missed out on feeding them. We had to get the kids out of the sun before the feeding area opened.

Jennifer Rabideaux

We had a great time here with the kids! It's still pretty cold out but we were still able to see a lot of the animals in the indoor areas that couldn't be outside. We will definitely go back during the summer! Everyone had nice-sized enclosures which was really nice to see!

Danielle Malaby

It was so much fun!! Definitely one of the best zoos they have in WI

Tim Drager

Great asset for families both in and out of the area. Big enough to keep it interesting but not so big that you can't see everything in a day.

Chris Lowrey

Came here for the Halloween event. Brought my young children. The haunted hayride was far too scary for my young children (mind you, most of the crowd was parents with young children). The rest of the event was excellent. Zoo facilities are nice, food is good, and the animals look good. Mercifully, not one of those depressing zoos. Consider the membership if you'll come more than a couple times a year.

Mara Lane

As much as we love to bring our son to the zoo, it always seems like the animals aren't out. It can be frustrating to take a trip all the way there and not be able to see half of the animals.

mitch peterson

I've only been to two zoo's in my lifetime. I grew up in Milwaukee so naturally I went to Milwaukee County Zoo growing up and then took my children there it is a very massive Zoo for anyone who has been there. Now the New Zoo is not close to being as large but what it lacks in size and amounts of animals it makes up in there exhibits! I recently took my daughter and being able to feed a giraffe and petting it while doing so was awesome! And the bear is close enough were you can actually see it while being safe as well as all the other exhibits. And the petting Zoo area is very fun and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you never been to this Zoo pack up the family and get there what are you waiting for? And I'll be going to the adventure park this weekend to leave my review soon ????????

Jamie Gauthier

Absolutely love this.. wish I didn't love do far away cause I would go a lot. Animals are very well taken care ood and love the fact that the peacocks are free to roam around the park.

JP Henderson

Great place for kids and adults too. Smaller zoo but the layout and animals suit the smaller size quite well. There is an adventure park with zip line, ropes course and climbing wall as well. Park in the upper lot to see while you walk a short path to the zoo. Prices were reasonable and a great memory/experience for the kiddos.

Jena Gardner

It's a lovely zoo it was awesome hearing the Lion roar and feeding the Giraffe was pretty cool also u get to see a bear and we watched them feed the otters which was neat and the have a restaurant there it's a cool place to take the kids and grandparents ????????

Awesome place for the kids! We were there for the Zoo Boo, and there were many great activities to do and animals to see! Place was well kept, and animals looked great!!

My family has had an annual pass for over 3 years now. While it's a bit of a drive from Appleton, we usually spend about 1.5 hours here and always enjoy it. Our son knows the zoo well and loves feeding the goats. There's a good variety of animals and things to do while being reasonably priced. If you come here expecting to make a full day out of it (like the Milwaukee Zoo), you won't be pleased. This is a fairly small zoo so plan on a short visit unless you visit the adventure park (which I have yet to experience). Still a fun place to bring the family for a visit and to get outside and walk around to see animals.

Jason Burzynski (Baker)

This place was really fun. We went for the wine night and got to see all sorts of animals and drink wine all night. The zoo is immaculate and the animals all seem really happy and not prisoners.

renee smithana

Excellent zoo with small children. Big enough for a good variety and small enough to get through without the kids becoming exhausted. The prices are also great as well. The zoo is also located directly across from a park, which makes a great place to picnic and eat lunch as well.

Suzanne Vassallo

Wonderful, medium sized zoo. Lions, snow leopards, cougar, bobcat, lynx, bear, tortoises, and more.

DJ “DJPaulyB” PaulyB

Fun place to take the kids. Clean. Restaurant was closed due to staffing shortages, but staff were kind and helpful.

Jill Gilman

We went here as a family and had an amazing time. Since it's all outdoors too, it felt very safe.

April Eleves

The New Zoo right outside Green Bay was entertaining and fun. There were a lot of interesting animals including the penguins, lions, giraffe & even a moose????

Stephen DeRoche

Awesome place with most animals in large habitats

Tracy Jensen

It's a Great place for kids and adults to have fun. It's a small zoo though, that could be covered in an hour's time and outside they have zipping trail, that's most popular among visitors, it's safe and good experience for kids and adults, they also have a play area close to parking

Ann Bramschreiber

Prices are still very reasonablr.Better than the Milwaukee zoo - this is compact, lots of animal, less expensive, free parking, walking trails, kids playground, picnic spots. Relaxing to walk through with real nature areas. The Adventure Park consist of a climbing wall and a zip line which goes over one of the pons and is a great starter for new people to the activity.

Amber Jorgensen

I love this zoo! They have a decent variety of animals for a smaller regional zoo like this. The animals look healthy and well-cared-for. The people working there are friendly and enthusiastic about the animals!

Linda Smrcina

Absolutely had the best time. It was hot as all get out but, this zoo is amazing !!!!!! Make sure to visit and get there early. Theres all kinds of entertainment to enjoy ???????? make sure to take the whole family and friends

Madelyn Shimon

Great place to visit, able to socially distance safely and still enjoy all of the animals

y33t

Great place to bring the kids!

Thomas Ozarowicz

It sure has changed over the years. Its probably best to go on a nice cool-ish day, so more animals are out and active. I went when it was too warm and most of the animals were sleeping in the shade or hiding. Felt like a waste of money. Not sure for price of children but adults are $9. They do, do a family pass for the year for $45, which isnt too bad of a deal. The adventure park is pretty pricey as well. I don't think it's worth it.

It was too cold out and there weren't many animals there. Lot of areas were taped off. Not a good time to go, it will be better when the weather gets warmer. Kind of disappointed.

Considering it was already winter; the giraffe was the main attraction + free coffee and cookies.

Cheap fun with the family on a beautifully sunny day.

This is one of my favorite places in Northeastern Wisconsin! The NEW Zoo is AZA accredited, which is a very difficult accreditation to earn and very prestigious to have. (Only four zoos in the state of Wisconsin have this accreditation.) When you visit, the exceptional care of the animals and the grounds is obvious. The animals' habitats are well-maintained and great care is taken to give the animals a natural environment in which to live. The staff is very helpful and always cheerful, whether they be in the Welcome Center or in the restaurant. Admission fees at the NEW Zoo are very reasonable, and if you live in the area, purchasing a Family Pass (which allows your family free entry for a year) is definitely worth it. One can also purchase other add-ons that get you closer and more connected with the animals, like goat feed for the goats and leaves to hand-feed the zoo's two giraffes. Speaking of the giraffes, they are truly the highlight of a really hands-on zoo that obviously values both education and connecting guests to the animals. The zoo is open to the public every day of the year, and each day, trained volunteers staff the Giraffe Feeding Experience where guests can get up close and personal with the giraffes and feed them. It's always a must whenever we visit!

Ginger Van Lanen-Acken

This is a nice smaller zoo when you don't want to spend the entire day doing something. We saw the whole place in a couple of hours. Good value and nice selection of animals.

Sally Lou

Love this place. I always get the family season pass. Makes it easier to keep going back ???? Great place to bring the kids. And of course, they love to feed the ????.

Sidney Porter

What a cute zoo!! Although smaller than big city zoos, it had the perfect amount of animals and activities to keep my 2 toddlers busy! It's really neat getting to be so close to the exhibits (still very safe). We were there on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded at all. Highly recommend.

Anna Ulman

Great family fun!

Susan Garcia

Zoo boo was a lot of fun

Crystal Shelton

Went here to waste time and ended up having a blast. Great price for a zoo and you get to see a wide variety of animals. I hope that they are able to build funds and expand! Will definitely go back in the future.

Steve Digirolamo

My only complaint was when my wife and I were checking out at the gift shop the cashier was extremely rude and disrespectful and she told us we had to go to the back of the other line because her register was close but as soon as we got out of line she helped the lady right behind us and when we asked her why she said because we were way to country and we then asked to speak to management and she laughed and walked away saying she didn't have time for that since it was her break time but other than this negative encounter we had an amazing time all of the zoo keepers that we spoke to and asked questions of were very passionate about their work and took their time to explain in great detail about any and all of our questions we even had help from an amazing lady in the office of the reptile building who was busy doing her work and was still nice enough to stop what she was doing to help us with our questions and needs so overall it was an amazing experience with my wife and we will be back for another visit

J. M.

Great penguin experience! Great to visit even in winter!

Juanita Zavala

I went to the zoo two weeks ago with my 4 year old. The website made it seem like I had to purchase tickets online so I did in the parking lot. When I got inside I had not gotten an email yet with the tickets but I did screenshot my receipt. I showed it to the woman working the front counter she said it would take to much of her time to look up the reservation. I had to sit there and reload my email about 20 times till she finally decided to look it up after about 5 people went in front of us. I don’t understand why she just couldn’t look up my name to begin with. Why she had to make a big stink. Maybe you should rethink the people you put at the front of the Zoo. Maybe put the crabby people who do not want to help others somewhere they’re not dealing with PAYING customers. I also on the way out took my son to the gift shop spent approximately $75 and the woman couldn’t have been more annoyed and watched me like a hawk the entire time we shopped. I let it go and still had fun but it was a bit annoying just trying to have a nice day at the zoo with my kid. I love how clean the place is . A couple of the animals did look miserable especially the fox. The other animals were out and spunky. I love the really nice play equipment for the kids. Overall it was a good trip like I said just a bit annoyed with the customer service.

Nice little zoo that is perfect for young children. We usually come for the boo at the zoo event. The cost of entry during this event is a little pricey- especially considering its in October when its cold so some of the animals are not out on display. The staff was awkward and sometimes rude. I used their "nursing room" which was just a small dirty backroom where employees lockers are located. Considering this is a family place they should really think about providing a nicer space for nursing mothers. I didn't really look around the room but I'm not sure if an outlet was nearby for a mom who might need to pump.

Ken kol

It was alright. The kids got to see most of the animals. We were wanting to take the kids on the merry go round but it wasn't in service. Not sure if it works or it was just that day that they're not running but last year when we were there it wasn't running too. Kind of disappointed but the kids had fun running around the zoo.

Steven Larson

My family tries to go every time we're in the area, it's such fun! The zoo isn't too big, but has an interesting variety of animals. There are multiple playground areas and it is fun for kids. My favorite part is the giraffe feeding, where you pay a few dollars and are able to feed a giraffe!

Michael Kaczmarek

Last weekend of half price. Nice weather, everyone was cooperative regarding masks requirements, fun for all.

Rachel Gellerstedt

Just an awesome Zoo. Fun and educational.

Paula Peterson

We had a wonderful day at the NEW zoo. The education and conservation programs were awesome and the Intern knew a lot of information and facts about the animals that he presented and talked about. My daughter learned a lot if fun things and was very excited to share them with others throughout the evening. Thank you for giving my child such amazing opportunities and Information. Great job fostering learning in a young child and growing her love of animals, nature, and conservation.

Sara Deering

Awesome variety of animals, and it's cool to see animals split up based on where they live. Liked the armadillo that was out for kids to touch, they thought it was so cool! The "train ride" was disappointing. Lasted all of 2 min and didn't really see anything. The mining exhibit is pretty cool, again, kids loved it and the feeding/petting zoo.

Melissa Wong

This was a fantastic zoo...so nice and not too big...can see and do most everything within 3hours. Great family experience! ????

Chris Keding

Had a great time ziplining. My 8 yr old backed out at the last minute and so her tickets were non refundable and non transferable. So just be aware if you are coming with small kids.

Kim Palo

Its not the San Diego zoo. But my kids love it. The wife loves it.. and all in all keeps them rather happy. Prices are decent, the gift shop Is expensive as expected. But it was a fun day for the wife and kids.

I've been coming here since I can remember and I just turned 31. It's always clean and put together and the animals seem well fed and taken care of. We had our wedding on April 28th at the ski lodge uphill from the NEW Zoo and the zoo let us come and take pictures in our formal clothes for free. We bought over 50 dollars worth of stuff from the gift shop and were given a free local business Monopoly game. It's very cool and what a great souvenir to remember the area and our wedding day.

Dawn Ambrosius

Many animals appear hopeless and that made me sad. The are beautiful, but in a cage. They are well cared for but many appear to prefer not to be looked at. The staff are very nice and do there best.

Lauri Christjohn

Always a great time at the zoo. The zipline is so much fun! We had a visit from a cardinal while walking and came so close to touching it. 1st time we have seen a cardinal. :)

Limited animals this time of year. Will check it out again during the summer to see if it gets any better. ,

Judith Barrington

Parking seemed to be a bit of a challenge, whether it just wasn't marked clearly where to park or if there wasn't enough available close to the entrance. The most memorable parts were the peacocks and being able to see the giraffes up close.

Erik

It's pretty small, and some of the cages seem horribly boring for the animals inside, but overall it's a fun experience (at least during Halloween, their Zoo Boo). The employees selling tickets are incredibly rude, so come in with low expectations and you'll have a good time.

Shawn

This is a very nice Zoo. We had a really fun time and stayed for about four hours.

Terri Petterson

Lovely Zoo, nice workers and very cute animals ????

Stashia Wery

Well, the aninals we saw were fine. The zoo itself was clean and well maintained. I was hughly disappointed to see all the empty environments. There was more than a few. We waited to feed the giraffe's, and they were 15 minutes late. Much to the dismay of quite a few restless children.

Dawn Cisler

We have been to this zoo three times over the past ten years. Each time we have enjoyed our visit. Feeding the giraffe is excellent, which is available at certain times during the day. While it is smaller than the zoo in Milwaukee (which we have to remember is a much larger metropolitan area) the exhibits are nice and it is less expensive.

Chad Weisenberger

Staff are friendly and the zoo is a good size. Not too much but enough for a few hours of fun. Goat and giraffe feeding are always kid favorites. This is non-profit so they need your support.

Rodney Knoke

I really liked the zoo but I was disappointed I couldn't do the zip line. The girl in the gift shop said that the zip line would be open until 6. We got there at 5:30 and the window to sign up and the waivers were sitting there. Then the girl came to the window and said it was closed and shut the window.

Renee Menge

Very nice little zoo with habitat enclosures for the animals. Perfect for small children or the elderly who wouldn't be able to do a large zoo.

Great little zoo. It's fun to visit at untraditional times/weather. We went while it was cold and were the only visitors at the time. The fox, wolves, lynx, and bobcat were all active! The zoo membership is a great deal and this zoo is a nice size to bring small children.

teresa gleason

The zoo is so much fun! There are many exhibits and it seems like they add on each year. The zoo is clean and well kept. The entry fee is reasonable.

Jon Kaquatosh

Really a nice set up and can see the animals without a problem. Was warm but lots of shady rest places.

Lynn Schulz

Love the fact the animals are up close and there is NO animal smell. Feeding the giraffe's is fun, and watching the Prairie Dog babies is always a great experience. The zoo is growing, and parking is free. Wish that more people would check it out. Awesome place for everyone. Only takes about 4 hours to really see and do everything. Well worth the drive.

Kristine Schulz

Had a great time with the kids here. Suprising list of animals for what I expected to be a smaller venue(I grew up spoiled going to the Philadelphia zoo.) The giraffe exhibit was great, and my son really enjoyed feeding them. The animals were smarter than us that day as it was over 90f that day, they spent there time avoiding the sun. Definitely go on a cooler day and there will probably be more to see. The penguins pulled their weight that day though. Always one of my favorite exhibits. You can also get pretty close to the bald eagle they have. Helps put into perspective just how enormous they are. Ordered tickets online ahead of time and walked right through the entry without a wait. Prices weren't too high either.

Joyce Harris

I'm torn on how to rate this. I love seeing animals, but many animals' enclosures seemed small, lacking in stimulation, and, for some of the social animals, lonely. I'd love a more progressive approach to animals and how their housed, but I know that costs money.

Glorkar Floki

Great place for the kids. They have a separate kids section in the Zoo also. It is pretty big, so i would have some water handy. This is a place where the kids are going to love anyway you see it.. So fun!!

Collin McGrady

Great small zoo, especially the penguin exhibit.

Sarah Bosley

Nice little zoo! Great access to the animals, not crowded, enjoyed the visit!

Mary Griffin

Such a nice zoo! Great playgrounds and activities for children. Loved feeding the giraffe- bring your dollar bills as it's one dollar for one or two leaves to feed them!

Rick Kalmus

Wonderful zoo with nice habitats for animals. When I went there were lots of toys in the exhibits for the animals to play with, and even some freshly cut trees. The animals seem happy and well cared for. I also like how there are a lot of animals that are native to Wisconsin (such as whitetail deer, moose, porcupine, bobcat, and racoon). Great zoo and I love supporting it!

Keely Coffman

One of the Best Zoos in the Midwest All the staff were friendly and caring. We got to Feed a Graff which blew my mind and have great stories. The Selection was Excellent. Definitely will be coming back. Hidden Gem

Dana Z

Love this zoo! Me and my family are medically exempt from masks. So we really appreciate the fact that they are showing love and acceptance by allowing all people in, masked or maskless????

Leo geckowatch

Price for adult entry

Mike Munes

Always a joy! Very clean, organized and kept. The only thing I would recommend they could do better is the communication of their geology bags to 'go mining' in the farm area.

Snowfall Eon

This is a quaint little zoo. Certainly nothing like the zoo I'm accustomed to (Brookfield in Chicago). But the animals on display are all wonderful and seem to ham it up for you. The two otters were following me and my girlfriend around their display posing for pictures. And the albino alligator is worth seeing. Too bad it was too cold for the macaws to be out on display. And be warned, the peacocks are allowed to wander where they want.

kevin raynard

Beautiful, and inexpensive. Great place for kids also the young at heart.

Cheyenne Wight

Nice medium sized zoo. The admission was reasonably priced for the amount of exhibits they have. Went on a really hot day so understandably many of the animals were hunkered down in the shade. Would recommend for a family looking to go to the zoo at a reasonable price. The zoo isn't huge, so it takes about 2 hours to go through and see all of the exhibits.

Heather Wood

Clean and friendly good for a family adventure. Bring money for feeding the animals (goats) quarters or $3 for a small bag full, $1 for a small handful of leaves to feed the giraffes, and Also theres a merry go round that costs $1/rider. They have food there if you didn't pack a lunch that isn't about more expensive than what you'd pay for fast food but I'd say better quality. Made to order. If bringing own lunch theres picnic tables set up by parking lot and a little playground.

Angela Oller
