Beautiful place. There is also a small beach there.
Beautiful view
Beautiful beach. Doesn't look like BC. It's magical!
Love coming to Chilliwack Lake... very quiet, beautiful and serene!
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in BC
My family had a great time camping here. The kids loved the playground and the beach. The water is cold but not too cold to have fun in. We stayed in the paleface campground because you can reserve sites. It was quite crouded and loud but still fun. The other campgrounds are more spread out and private. Overall a very beautiful place for a getaway!
Beautiful
I LOVE IT THERE!!! They're currently doing construction but when they're not it's wonderful and the lake is FANTASTIC, this year may be different with all the snow melting and being fed into the lake, but otherwise FANTASTIC
Love being there. Great smell of pine, great reflections on the water, and great place to take family.
Great time
Clean lake with little boat traffic. Not much open Beach space. Take the gravel road and find your own
Lovely Lake with a mountain backdrop. Excellent place for a dip.
Beautiful and quiet place. You can kayak there, but a strong vehicle is needed to carry gears and climb the steep hill
It's a heaven
It can be desolate at times... perfect!
Such a beautiful place, amazing views, great place to take pictures
Wonderful place to have a great time with your friends and family. On weekends I highly suggest arriving by 08:30 am so that it gives you an opportunity to find your great spot. There is parking available and washroom facilities at the side of the parking lot as well. The water is crisp clear and the view as always is breathtaking. There is a huge area for people to come and park their camper to stay overnight and a ramp for driving right to the lake and launch your boat. BBQs are allowed but no campfire for safety reasons. There aren’t any garbage bins at the lake so bring some garbage bags which you can dump in the bins located at the parking lot. !!! There is no reception so make sure to communicate with family and friends prior arriving to this location with the correct address and all other infos. It is definitely worth the drive :-)
Campground is starting to look like a city, which is sad. Little to no privacy and loud people that don't care about quiet hours.
Found a beautiful off road place down the east side of the lake. Nice small sand beach. Be prepared for a rough road for a couple of kilometers.
Great clean campgrounds, will definitely be back.
The lake was calm and beautiful, I went in sep. it’s a must go place.
Love this place. .
So beautiful! Best to go during the week day when no one is there! Super snowy as of last week so just make sure your car is prepared!
Well-maintained campground. Beach was never too busy, even on the weekend. Views and water were amazing. Rangers were helpful and friendly. We will be back!
Great place. Full of memes
Breathtaking
Loved it I go for a morning swim with the seabird island men's recovery home always before 6 or 7 am
Beautiful ❤️
Very nice beach and campgrounds. Love free camping on the way!
lake in cloud
Definately worth a visit if you haven't had a chance to experience. Lake has boat launch, ideal for smaller boats under 24ft. Great for kayak, paddleboards, etc. Sandy beach on one side, nice area to picnic.
Day Hike to Lindeman Lake. Nice easy hike to the first lake.
Beautiful park boasting many incredible hikes, offroading/ATV/dirtbike trails, and lakes and waterfalls.
Serene, gorgeous view. Beach is amazing.
Located 150 km east of Vancouver in the upper Chilliwack River Valley, Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park is characterized by a valley-bottom lake, old-growth forested slopes, and spectacular subalpine and alpine ridges. Those seeking a wilderness camping experience can access the backcountry camps located at Greendrop, Lindeman, Flora, and Radium Lakes. Established Date: July 23, 1973 Park Size: The park covers 9,258 hectares.
We've camped here almost every year for the past 13 years and just love it. The sites are all beautifully maintained, they've recently upgraded the outhouses and playground which is nice. And the park attendants are great.
The most beautiful place on earth♥️
Decent trails. However it needs some repairs to the trail heads
A beautiful spot to visit. A little busy, needs more picnic spots for day visitors. But I would come back again.
Nice view and water but the beach area is very small.
On of the most beautiful places on earth. Bring a 4x4 with good tires in the winter.
Great park away from Vancouver
Great place for camping, kayaking, and biking!
Great trip, lots of improvements to the campground. Always a fun family adventure.
Very good camp ground
Camp sites are very spacious, enough to get a travel trailer in without difficulty. Very level surface as well. Outhouses were very clean. Only issue is at the Sani dump, the flush water tap is not working, so alot of drivers would use the fresh tank water hose to rinse out their black water hose. ????
Lots of fallen trees today. Use with caution.
Amazing
Beautiful. Never breathed such fresh air. So quiet in October. No crowds. Only one other camper at the time.
BEAUTIFUL, a hidden treasure. But you must be able to walk up and down hills!!
Amazing place
Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful
Outhouses & no showers
It a really beautiful place but it can get cold quickly
Must see. Too beautiful. GO!
Very busy on weekends.
A nice lake, camping is good if you're looking for an over packed, not so quiet site that's setup more for families with young kids. Lots of partiers and easy to get lost in. Not for everyone but regardless is a good time.
(Translated) Very challenging Trail but also a good place to visit. (Original) 很有挑戰性的Trail但也是很值得一去的好地方。
Had an amazing camping experience here. Lake was very close to the camping site and it has amazing view with water and mountains
The GPS sent me down a service road past the actual beach. If you go to the campground the beach can be used for day usage as well. Great sand, nice trees for shade, and beautiful mountains all around!
White sand, crystine waters. Not terribly crowded. Worth the drive. Feels 5000 miles from urban life.
Must view if in Chilliwack
Pristine, silent nature. A place to calm your busy mind. A place to breathe.
Beautiful scenery.
So beautiful in autumn
Amazing mountains, tons of hidden alpine lakes and some great hikes in the area! Would love to see some more funding go into the lindeman lake parking lot to make it a little more secure though. Even then I still spend every single weekend out there!
The best lake
Family quiet camping with trails and beach
Peace need I say more
(Translated) I love it! Surrounded by mountains. A nice and quiet place. This park has several camping spots and all in excellent condition. This area also has a toilet and a place to hang food, out of reach of bears. (Original) I love it ! Rodeado de montañas. Un lugar tranquilo y agradable. Este parque tiene varios spots para acampar y todos en excelentes condiciones. Esta área también cuenta con sanitario y lugar para colgar la comida, fuera del alcance de los osos.
Very nice place to visit love the fishing and the view
Always been a great time
Drove up the dirt road past the campsites for some photography. Enough room to pull off and park comfortably then have enough beach area to sit and relax. August water level exposed some nice sand and good rocks for sitting.
The hosts running the campsite this year are so unprofessional and really should be replaced. This is a great campsite, but unfortunately bad host make it undesirable.
(Translated) Quiet like a fairyland (Original) 恬静似仙境一般
Beautiful place!
Paradise ????????
It's awesome, its quiet and well maintained. Boat ramp is small and limits big boats from ruining the atmosphere like they do at Cultus lake. There are trails around the lake and a camp sight with solid structure toilets. Don't come here if you're a degenerate and can't clean up after yourself, stay in the city where you belong.
A great park with many things to do, there are several backcountry camping sites at four different lakes
Wonderful ????❤
(Translated) The really clear lake and the snowy mountains behind you are impressed.. The water is really clear and the emerald color When I visit this place, I feel like I found a gem~~ (Original) 정말 맑은 호수와 뒤에 보이는 설산은 감동으로 다가옴..물이 정말 맑고 에메랄드빛 이곳을 방문했을 때 정말 보석을 찾은 기분이~~
Beautifully clear Lake where you can camp at the campground or continue past the campground and camp on the shores around the lake. Beautiful mountain drives to see wildlife. It's just a beautiful calming spot that I love to go to.
I haven't been camping here but it looks great. I do some fishing in the beautiful (and large) lake and the little beach is popular with the campers.
Fun family camping trip. Cold, cold water!
Nice fresh water, just go super super early on a nice hot day.
Nice place
Love it
the nature in incredible and I would really go there again. but there was no proper washroom provided and the one existed was supper dirty. I was really disappointed for the hygiene of the place specially during this pandemic (COvid 19). foe anyone going there for more than a day I recommend having your travel washroom(toilet) and Inform your loved one you wont have internet at all.
Wonderful surprise, but sad to see tree cutting right beside protected area. I would return and get in some hikes.
Beautiful spot.
Great trails with few people on it. Well-labeled. I enjoyed the hike to Lindeman Lake, the view alone was rewarding
Absolutely beautiful place for everyone to see. Great place to bring your family. Recommended to be a must see.
It's beautiful
Way too busy for the current situation but love the experience here.
What a gorgeous place for camping; the sites closest to the lake are not very private, but a bit further back there are many lovely spots that will give you privacy and shade while still being a short walk from everything.
In my opinion, this is the most beautiful lake within a day's driving distance from Vancouver that requires absolutely no hiking to get to. It's a bit chilly to swim most of the time, but it's great for kayaking provided that you watch the winds. The staff at the campsite are very happy to help you with whatever you may need, and they are friendly and approachable. Washroom facilities are decent, provided that you keep your expectations in line with the fact that they are well kept pit toilets. The camp sites are clean, and there is a veriety of wildlife to watch as you enjoy your day.
One of the most spectacular parks in bc. Super busy during summer months. I dont even bother trying to find a camping spot in the actual park. We usually camp out along the river. Much more space and peace and quiet from all the hoards of ppl. No rangers hassling you either. The stars at night are so bright its unreal. Water is turquoise but insanely cold. Definitely a must see if your in the area during the summer. 10/10
Good
Well maintained, beautiful, and far away enough that you have some quietude and privacy from the rest of civilization. Snow tends to be up in this area quite often, so hikers should be prepared for icy paths unless it's deep into Spring/Summer.
Went camping at radium campgrounds. Was a good location. Water is freezing i was told.
Recommended for view and summer camping and swimming.
Beautiful lake and lots of camping spots.
Beautiful spot, clean clear water
Great place for all outdoor stuff you might want to do. Just a long drive and few amenities. So pack well (thats t.p. and bear spray).
Great off-season destination...
Very nice but beach is small for the number of people.
Great place to go camping with friends and family
Stunning lake
Not much snow up there this year but the view of the mountains was still beautiful!
Beautiful scenery and not many people there. Rocky shores and no beach area. Which is kind of its charm too...
This place has a great camp ground with all hook up and very well maintained. If that's not enough then go for the beautiful clean clear water and absolutely amazing views.
Great lake. Very nice for a winter walk.
Beautiful park that's easily accessible
Went here fishing a couple months ago and had an amazing time with some friends. The snow made the scenery so beautiful but very cold!! But as expected. Views are really great. Roads are not too narrow around the area so there’s lots of room for parking along the sides of the roads. Beautiful area for outdoor activities! I would LOVE to come back here!
Post card lake. Very narrow beach, especially early season due to snow melt... Oh yeah, COLD (also blame snow runoff). Gets busy busy in summer, but seriously beautiful.
Beautiful hike in the winter
lovely place for a chill out and picnic
Beautiful. But need a good 4x4 as gravel road has many pot holes some are massive.
Clean camp site. Clean washrooms. Lots of trails for hiking. Beautiful surrounding good fishing in the lake big big bull trout ????.... Strong wind in the back side of the lake. use caution if you're using electric or paddles... No fishing on mouth of Chilliwack River
Great hikes. Beautiful lakes. Quiet! Summer or Winter it's great for outdoors.
It's a great place for a hike or to go camping. Always a fun relaxing time there
Campsites were $30 per night and include no electricity or showers. Only outhouses. Beautiful lake though. Large camping lots can easily fit a large RV (but again, no electricity).
A gray owl made its rounds in the night, and there were no bears to be seen.
Best place on earth to camp
Beautiful place to enjoy the life
Nice refreshing, cold, clear water. The park is rustic and rough.
Beautiful, secluded and tricky access....
Wonderful camping ground.
Plenty of hidden Jems to find a quiet location to chill on this lake.
Great, out of the way, beautiful views of mountains and lake, love it out there
Loved that they brought wood to purchase at campsites. The campsites are a bit close though. Love the hiking and lake.
Nice place for boating
Nice views, no cell towers, nice huge mountains, nice lake. Wonderful
Beautiful view of the lake with majestic mountains surrounding it. A very tranquil place to chill in the morning. Water is very clean but cold.
Great campsites but a little close together. Outhouses are brand new. Lake was cool in August but still swimable. Lots of good hikes nearby. Firewood and propane available
People who are looking for adventure , peace and serene camping - should keep this on top priority - if you have to have cellular connection then don’t choose this park - you loose network while 17-20 kms away
Gorgeous spot in all seasons, very easy to get to and not too busy. The view is amazing especially at sunrise/sunset and when the lake is calm it’s a great spot for kayaking.
Fun Park
Absolutely Beautiful Place.
Awesome!!
Water is awesome
Great Great beautiful clear lake. Lots of hiking trails good sandy beach area Also have separate beach area for people with dogs which is great
Fantastic place for camping. Looking forward to the next years summer season!
I have been camping here since 2015, I need to come here at least once or twice per year. It always feels like home. Sadly though the campground is only reserve only now
Beautiful trail and very well maintained. It's also marked clearly so as to make navigating it very easy.
Love our PPs
One of our favorite places!
Came here for the Lindeman Lake hike because it was shorter and had a nice pay off at the end. The lake is a nice sight to see and even better to jump in, just make sure you can tolerate the cold!
Great lake, glacier fed.... wish the boat launch and swim area were separated with physical barriers, so dangerous. Campground was wonderful, shady spots, clean bathrooms.... only wish there was more space in the spots and more privacy between spots. Overall it was a great week and we will be going again
Beautiful place. Campsites were calm. A place you can really see the stars.
Amazing lake and park. We went camping and at the Flora camp group it was well kept and the bathrooms were clean.
Unless you're one for hypothermia, I don't recommend swimming too deeply in the water. Beautiful place.
Beautiful scenery, but some rough people hanging on the beach.
Had a great time here. It's a nice park with some easy hiking trails and a decent beach. The lake is COLD, even in the middle of August, but it is beautiful. It has a couple good green spaces for playing sports and a playground near the beach. If you have smaller kids, consider camping in the "Paleface" area, as it is closest to the fields and playground. One complaint is the fact that they explicitly said to register at the gate, but there is no longer a gatehouse. The rangers register new campers in the evening by driving around the park. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself, I just ended up being a bit confused.
A beautiful getaway to nature from urban life. Despite no mobile phone signal in this remote location, there is plenty to do from relaxing at the well maintained campsites to the beach. There is a boat launch for those fortunate enough to haul motorized watercraft to the lake to do some fishing. There is even a nice playground for the children if they are not inclined to hike the trails (can be challenging) which will reward those with majestic views of the area. Just secure your food as the wildlife here have grown accustomed to humans encroaching on their turf, bringing along yummy food not found in nature.
Beautiful. I wish the use of power boats would be interdicted
Fantastic view of the stars at night, they take card and can do reservations.
If you want to be one with the nature, this is your place
We camped here late May on Pale Face, very close to the lake (P26). No privacy whatsoever but at least right by the lake. This place is great, pit toilets are very decent, the lake during the day is a must and then the stardust at night is …
Great view. Easy hike to the lake.
Went to Linderman Lake. One star less because the climb to the lake still hurts. Warning, not a nice trek, scenery ok but route is hard for us older folks.
Small beach that loses sun by 5pm but still a beautiful place. Lots of children but as expected in a camp site type of place. Very large, many sites, fires allowed.
Beauty
CHILLIWACK LAKE , BREATH TAKING SCENERY , AWE INSPIRING NATURAL SCENES
The scenery is absolutely spectacular
Beautiful lake, beach can be a little crowded but the water was beautiful and crystal clear.
pristine lake and lots of campsites
Love it here - beautiful place. Stop here whenever we can.
Beautiful area, plenty of hikes nearby. The camping is usually busy but it's great for day use, too.
awesome place to be
It was very peaceful
Beautiful...long drive. No cell service. But thats a good thing. Closed for winter so its a bit of a walk into beach. But worth it!
Such natural beauty and the lake is crystal clear
We love coming here - clean sites, lots of trails to explore, no cell service, and nice clean mountain air.
Beautiful place for picnic.
Great spot for a swim and to spend time in nature with family or friends
Beautiful outdoor camping site in a wilderness environment. The lake is very deep, clear, and very cold. Beware of mountain storms if you are boating. This is also the parking spot for some backcountry hiking trails.
Loved this park....nice sights, well maintained bathrooms, very friendly staff...Will definitely be going back.
Awesome mountain lake; crystal clear water, sandy beach :)
Beautiful lake, great campsite (just be prepared that there are no flushing toilets or showers)....but spaced out sites and helpful staff :-)
An amazing place. One of the most clean and clear lakes in BC. If you decide to come here please keep it clean. If you see garbage pick it up and pack it out.
Great camping spot when you can get in.
Awesome and beautiful
Beautiful
I'm from Ontario and I've never seen anything so beautiful.
Beautiful beach in the provincial park but it can get pretty crowded on nice summer weekends. Boat launch is small so be prepared before launching. Get in, get out and be courteous!
Excellent trip. Amazing view. Water almost good to swim! Friendly birds)
Beautiful and easy to get access to.
Pleasant
Absolutely beautiful lake and park.
Awesome place but very cold water
Beautiful
This lake is so beautiful, and close of a lot of hikes I was so relaxing !
Spectacular, just be prepared for cold and ice this time of year
One of the best camping site
My favorite provincial park
Great place to camp! Also if you go in winter it looks really cool.
Nice beach great view
Lovely place to relax. :)
BC's version of Lake Louise
Beautiful at Chiliwack lake
I really enjoyed the camp site p1. The only thing I would like to see is a st of stairs down to the lake. I was there for the fishing and it was hard to take my belly boat down. Other than that I loved it!
camped once here, it's an OK camping site, I prefer Cultus Lake over this one.
Great view!
Beautiful camp ground.
A very beautiful place
Awesome place, it's about a 15 minute walk from the main street, gates for the parking lot and boat launch are closed during the winter
We reserved a camping spot online within the Paleface loop(one of the best spots in the park, the row beside the lake with no one on one side of us), and upon arrival there was someone already set up there but had left the park because it was raining. The park ranger told us there was a note from previous ranger left saying that they acknowledged they were in the wrong spot....so why weren't they moved on check out time by the previous ranger on shift? Do reservations mean nothing? We drove 5 hours from Kelowna for this spot in particular. They couldn't do anything because the people had left the park. Thanks for wasting 10 hours driving of our time, plus 2 hours waiting around for the ranger to do something. Will never be coming back. Shout out to the lady named "Kristin" who took our reserved spot and acknowledged it, but still continued to set up there. Thanks for ruining our vacation.
It was unbelievable breathtaking
Beautiful crystal clear water with Good fishing. nice hiking trails too .
Broke my car while driving around, worth it.
Love this place. The sites are adequate and the facilities are new and mostly clean. It's a beautiful area to camp or spend the day.
Beautiful hike
I like it but so busy
Amazing place to stay away from Vancouver crowd.
Lake is so beautiful. Clean and welcoming.. from Thunder Bay Ontario
Amazing nature situated along a beautiful BC lake.
It can be quite busy on summer weekends - but for good reason! Campgrounds are clean quiet and sheltered. Surrounded by excellent trails. Great lake for kayaking, fishing or just swimming.
Great place to go and view the galaxy
Absolutely beautiful and no cell service ,- good or bad?! You decide????????♂️
Today was my first time going and the pedrogozo road is horrible and danger the water is very nice lake, but the way to get there is challenging, many holes the car jumps a lot, it is better to go in a truck and there is no phone signal so there is q go full of gas tank and water and food. Where I arrive is downhill and almost no people arrive there I imagine that on the stony road and dangerous curves
This place is breathtaking!
It has the best campsite, nature, and lake! I have visited 5 different campsites this summer and this one is the best. Some people may not like it because there's no cellphone reception here but I thought it was the real vacation without any distractions.
It was one if the most beautiful hikes that I went. It is not very hard and definitely worth it.
Stunning nature. Windy afternoons. I'd recommend you planning your day with this in mind.
Very relaxing place. Beautiful mountains.
This is a very beautiful lake. Stunning view but the water is exceptionally cold and is not very good for swimming even in summer. Also the picnic area is verrry small so it’s perfect for camping but not very good if you just want to drive there for a picnic day.
Gorgeous. Always lots of people, but large enough that you can avoid crowds if you wish. Lots of wildlife, and great connections to the TCT.
Love it ????
So many little special spots in this park. We always love going there!
Breath taking view, nice mildly challenging hike.
It was a fun and a bit challenging hike to the top of mountain for beginners. Totally worth the view once you get there.
Great place with one of the best views. Water is very cold. Able to launch the boats or rafts, This place has designated area to do the camping.
This is a nice camping area. I'm giving 4 stars ???? just because there is no shower.
Beautiful area
Very beautiful park. Very nice water for a swim.
Awsome scenery... but closed over the winter
Gorgeous views! Great place to visit after hiking
Too windy
Most memorable visit
Lindeman Lake hike is a must.
Nice trail for hiking.
Free to launch your boat
Beautiful clean and quite
Great place to hang out in the summer but it gets quite busy at the beach. Camp ground is clean and very large. The facility’s aren’t the greatest but it’s camping it’s to be expected. Be careful to stay on the trails and not damage our beautiful provincial park. You can come here in the winter but the gate is closed and you have to walk in, it a nice walk nothing to strenuous. Just remember if you packed it in, pack it out. Keep our country clean and beautiful.
Breath taking view .
Lovely lake and views!
Great place
ALL the locals go here now because cultus has been over crowded into an unbearable disaster so this once isolated lake is packed with chilliwackians trying to escape the tourism boom
Beautiful lake....crystal clear, sandy beach, cold water.
I thought Cultus lake was cool until I got to Chilliwack lake. Nothing beats it.
Lovely place to visit. Probably no need to go to Jasper, Banff or Whistler.
Sad but they say don't leave garbage out or food out yet they won't empty the garbage cans for 3 days even when you tell them and you got no place to put such garbage. The employees drove by them so many times that I lost count. they need to empty them in a timely manner so we don't get wild animals.
The provincial campground is a really great family site whether just for the day or if you're camping for the week. Can't wait until next summer to bring our kids back.
Nice place but
Came here to see what the hype was about for lindeman lake, and the lake does not disappoint! Its a gorgeous blue and ice cold, perfect for cooling beverages. However because its proximity to the trail head, it is fairly popular and expect it to be busy on weekends.
The park ranger looked and acted like a friend of mine named Alex, so we just called him by that and he was cool with it.
A lovely place for hiking with beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
Was planning on just checking it out after a day of work, but didn't expect to get blown away by the amazing view. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking out this park.
It's a great place to go break free from stress, luckily when my friends and I got there, we were the only ones... We had a great time clicking pictures and chilling... The road to here isn'tan easy one but it's absolutely worth it at the end.
Very good Lake
Great challenging hike... Rocky so bring appropriate shoes
I have lived here for over 3 years and have enjoyed chilliwack river valley so much. It was after speaking to a fellow that owns a bike and he raves about the drive on the 1 side which is the CHILLIWACK LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK .I enjoyed the drive and found unique stops where you can find private spots several steps down from road.
Really enjoyed ourselves ,staff is great.
This park has some definite pros and cons to it. It is a beautiful campsite, with easy access to the lake and amazing hikes. On the con side, the park staff do not enforce quiet hours. The worst out of the days I had stayed had one site playing extremely loud techno music until 4 am.
Nice park to camping, boating, and enjoy the great outdoors.
Very pretty. The lake water is crystal-clear, apparently so clean you can just drink just of it. Sadly there didn’t seem to be a boat rental place at the lake, which is slightly disappointing. Still a very good experience overall.
Amazing place for camping and relaxing at Chilliwack Lake Can also enjoy canoeing and boating at Lake or enjoy the scenic beauty of lake and surrounding mountains
Awsome ????
Very beautiful, good to camp.
Breathtaking
Chilliwack lake is beautiful.
It was awesome except there is no overnight camping
Beautiful Scenery. Road wasn’t too bad going in. Be careful you don’t miss the turn to the campground as the road to the far side of the lake is extremely rough and not maintained. Parking is a little hard to determine for day use. There’s a small spot at the end of the road, just above the boat launch. Otherwise it’s a bit further away in the boat trailer parking section. The walk down to the beach is steep and not appropriate for taking a wagon down
What a beautiful lake
Great lake for camping or day use. nice sandy beach, clean water. Parking is inadequate for day use on popular days, but parking along the access roads and walking in is possible. Pit toilets, Boat launch. Beautiful setting for a picnic lunch or supper. Scenic drive to get there.
So beautiful and peaceful
I love this place!! The lake is amazing! I only have 4 stars because I wish this park had flush toilets! Other than that the lake itself is beautiful and refreshing.
Most beautiful lake ..long Beach with lovely sand and little rocks. Great place to kayak. Water is so clear you can see bottom of Lake while kayaking
Nice place for camping or just a relaxing visit.
The scenery at the lake is just awesome. Can't say anything about the camping in summer, haven't done that yet
One of the most beautiful places in Fraser Valley. A winter wonderland during the cold months; this place has amazing views, stunning landscapes and campgrounds (camping only accessible in summer).
Gorgeous. Great atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. I had such a great time woth my family. I will definately be back.
beutifull please
A yearly goto placed for lovely fall encounters
Most beautiful place to be. Campground is a little pricey but definitely worth it. Or just drive around the lake and set up for a beach day!
(Translated) It's freezing and there are no tourists, and the scenery is pleasant (Original) 天寒地凍沒有遊客景色怡人
Majestic mountains, beautiful lake and a great trail. Campgrounds are well kept and the beach is a lovely place to take in the beauty.
We camped at frontcountry sites. I didn't like Paleface loop- the sites are too close together. Lake looks great. Paleface/Lindeman loop is ideal if camping with kiddos especially the sites closest to playground. Couples who's concerned of privacy should book at Radium Loop. Flora Loop is pretty but can be a little bit low on privacy. Greendrop Loop is just behind Paleface and quite low on privacy too.
Nice lake with a beautifull color and big salmon
Its absolutely so stunning here ,people are friendly a d helpful when your camping here and the beach is sandy ,and the water is so clean you can see the bottom from sitting on the beach all the way into the deeper parts. The water is a bit chilli but very refreshing, our family had a great camping experience here and we come up to the day use all the time ,when we want to hit the beach for the day.anyone will love it here and very family friendly
Very picturesque. The lake is beautiful but cold. Campsite is well maintained.
Really cool sandy lake shore. Good place for a swim. Very decent campground. Barbecue is not permitted on the beach. Good place for kayaking and boating.
No cell reception, between two mountains. Beautiful place, check out the chipmunk caves on the way! Long, nice drive into the mountains. Lots of lakes and trails!!
Far and tight small beach sun goes awat after 4pm but the most beautiful lake in lower mainland to visit.
Beautiful lake
Stopped here on my recent trip to BC and was taken away by the beauty. We drove along a gravel road beside the lake and found a small beach to hangout. There is massive snowy mountains and crystal clear water. We also hike to a lake on the top of the mountain and had an amazing time. This isn't too far from Vancouver and I would highly reccomend checking it out on your BC visit.
The place is beautiful and the lake is clean and clear, only down side is how crowded it gets.
One of my favourite places to visit
It's a bit too early too visit in mid June. Maybe try visiting it in August when the weather is nicer.
Beautiful piece of God's world! A nice quiet place to go and relax from busy city life... Kick back with family and friends... Fabulous beach... boating... Not commercialized
Stunning sandy beach with beautiful clear blue cold water. Beach is often busy especially on hot weekends. Limited day use parking. May need to park outside campground and walk 1 KM to beach. No change rooms, outhouse facilities only.
Plenty of parking. Road up there is much better now that paved all the way up to the lake. Trail up to Radium Lake was good as far as we made it.
There is no doubt that Chilliwack is the best place for hiking.
Beautiful place
Beautiful lake!
One of the most beautiful parks in our area
So beautiful!
So I find these campgrounds to kind of be like the economy seats to the business class. Starting from Flora (economy seats with no foot room,Lindeman (economy seats) radium, (economy with peanuts) greendrop (economy but nice leg room) and paleface (business class) but only the front few campsites at paleface by the lake are the first class. The sites are quite close together with Flora, radium, Lindeman having sparse trees, thicker growth and going towards paleface. There's a few campsites that are nicer in greendrop as well. It's not horrible..,it's just not. Great. If you don't mind close neighbors then this is the place for you.
Beatiful park
Went there early December. There was only a dusting of snow and the temp was around 4C. Hiked to Lindeman Lake. An intermediate hike which has a few scrambling spots but nothing extreme. It is stated as a 1.5 km distance but seems much longer due to the slow going. The lake is shallow and probably good for swimming in the summer due to its shallow nature. Platforms for camping are available along with an outhouse.
Beautiful park, lots to see, 6 camping grounds, trails galore and waterfalls
Chilliwack Lake is a beautiful provincial park. The cold, refreshing waters and tranquil environment make for a relaxing day lakeside. Having said this, I wish those with RC boats and drones would keep away from the lake. I find that these noisy devices take away from the serene atmosphere of the park.
Chilliwack lake is absolutely beautiful, enjoyed an evening of photography here.
Nice driving experience from park via off road.
Absolutely beautiful place. The lake is amazing. Lots of great hikes here, such as Lindeman lake and Greendrop lake. Highly recommend :)
I love going to Chilliwack Lake, is one of our favorite weekend destinations. Lots of hikes in the area, also some biking trails.
Love the fall colors. Great views on the way to Flora lake
Nice drive, great scenery, good for boating and camping.
So beautiful and so serene
Was wonderful
Beautiful clear lake with brave fish. Cold, refreshing water. Campsites are nicely nestled among the trees.
it was dark and foggy day when I was here, made me feel like I lost into a fairy tail land
Love the water. Super clean.
Excellent park. Very calm and peaceful. Water is usually cold but good for a quick dip. Camping is always fun here.
Beautiful place to go with family Rode is little rough and bumpy about 4 km not good idea to take small car. Suv and pickup trucks are good ???? Also no network there (may 16 2021) so make sure to take emergency supplies. Enjoy life stay blessed ????
The lake is amazing but cold
Can't get enough.
Disappointed that park operators did not have 1 or 2 nights available on the campsite post. I asked the Park Operator why the availability signs where not posted, she replied because everyone was asking for 4 nights so she didn't bother.
A lovely well-maintained park in an area that has so much to offer. Easy to access, but still tucked away from anything remotely bustling the Chilliwack Lake Provincial park includes a wide array of camping and hiking options. Bonus: when I visited in early September there was plenty of availability!
Planned to go camping here, but there was no campsite available since long weekend. The campsite looks normal, but the lake is beautiful. The parking lot is so small and dirt. We just stayed at river side for a day, it's very nice.
Good place to camp.
Clean family friendly camping. Perfect
Great being beside the river
One of the better lakes in Lower Mainland
Great place to camp!!
The upper campground is the best, and where it is most private. The sites are also nicer. Definitely a car camping place, but far out enough there is no cell service or internet. Great weekend getaway for car camping.
It's a fairly quick hike (to the first lake) with maybe around 10 minutes worth of a steep climb. The trail is pretty straightforward, but it's easy to get distracted and lose track of the orange markers, so make sure you're paying attention to the trees and not just your footing. I've taken the wrong turn once and added a half hour to my trip, and the last time I went, a group also got separated and had to look for each other. However, it's still one of my favourite hikes so far. If you play your cards right and go on a good day, the first lake is amazing to swim in.
Large, clean sites.
Quiet and Very Beautiful
Great Camping spot
Not as busy as Cultus
Easy to find, so easy to climb our chihuahua and tahter larger buddy did it with us no problem.
Always live it
Enjoyed the time away with family. Camped in Radium loop - was half full.
Awsome scenery
Always relaxing
Nice hideaway beach with fine sand and clear water. Both our Koodo and Fido cellphone has no reception though.
A little close together for my liking.
Excellent
A very nice place and safe. Close to lake and beautiful view.
Haven't explored the entire park, but the Lindeman lake hike alone earns this place 5 stars!
Great place for a family vacation
Love it
Beautiful spot, but getting busier every year, as you'd expect!
Awesome views and beautiful lake and great camping
Good beach, semi private :)
Beautiful park and a great hike
Far
Visited for the first time the other day and absolutely loved it! The view from the beach was absolutely breath taking.
Incredible cleanliness and beauty surreal experience
Beautiful and quiet!
Nice Provincial Park, lots of hiking to other nearby lakes
Beautiful and well worth the drive! Great hiking (though not really any trails for beginners) and vistas, beautiful sandy beaches, and fresh cold waters (as with any good Canadian lake).
Worth the trip
Beautiful lake
Beautiful
Beautiful site for all your hiking and swimming needs, lake is a little chilly though.
Awesome place
Very Very Nice
Beautiful place to take the family for a walk in the winter. If it's raining in the Fraser Valley then it's snowing at Chwk Lake. Road is plowed all the way to the park. Park is closed in the winter but you can park at the gate and walk in. Stunning on a snowing or sunny day!
Beautiful
Great place
Very crowded, but very beautiful place! If you take your time, you can find your very own private area :)
Ultimately beautiful in all it's natural wonders. The lakes are amazing and so is the view.
Beautiful green Lake surrounded with snow capped mountains
beautiful sites, clean lake, beautiful trails, clean. outhouses with water available from designated areas. Quiet at night and the park workers are always around to help. safe for kids to ride their bikes without a lot of vehicle traffic.
One of the best place to camping in lower main land
The lake is the most fantastic resource but unfortunately the park is just drastically under sized for the amount of people that would like to use it maybe the city of Chilliwack could redesign what they've got going on there because right now it really sucks
The Best place to camp
It's a nice walk
Nice clean Lake, small beach OK size campsites. No showers or flush toilets.
Wow
Great place to get away from the crowds. It was dog friendly and the beach was lovely.
Well kept, spacious sites. Spent 4 days and enjoyed it. Lots of trails to hike. Individual sites are great, and mostly level. Dbl sites poorly thought out; fire pits are way on the edges instead of one central ( which is what they should have like everywhere else). Good site layout for families next to the playground, but the road should proceed all the way around it for more access. Saw a fight down at the boat launch because the road is WAY too narrow, and the pad at the bottom is too small. Needs a second sani dump for the number of sites. It was an hour in a lineup there on the way out.
Amazing I love the hikes
Gorgeous views and amazing scenery. Can't wait to go back up
The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking!
Beautiful lake but a fairly steep decline to get to it.
Awesome place bueatiful lake! The park staff was great
So worth the small trip out to this remote lake!
Love this campsite...stayed 6 days. My only issue would be to many flys in the put house.
Fricken gorgeous guy.
Sweet place beautiful crystal clear lake and nice clean sandy beach
Beautiful big sites in radium sites Very quiet Will definitely go back
Got to love the beautiful sights of British Columbia
Awesome park, very wild. Not for city folks
Although the lake is beautiful, the campsite leaves a lot to be desired. Very little space between campsites so you better hope your neighbors aren't loud partiers, as smoking and noise violations are not enforced; diesel generators and trucks being ran at random times throughout the night and day so you better not mind the exhaust fumes and noise. Dogs barking day and night. Odours from the outhouses are overpowering when the wind directs them towards you, not to mention they are filthy and don't seem to be cleaned regularly. Camping off grid is the better choice and its free.
To many people...not enough space
It’s very beautiful place like heaven
Very Beautiful. Clean.
Great place for camping, lots of trees , lake is clean . Beach is a little small , but nice.
Awesome place for a picnic .
A lot less crowded than Cultus, with a lovely view of the mountains. Nice water and sand. Trailer parking, camping and places to slide your boat into the water all available.
Awesome
For some reason (unknown to logic) they place the fireplace pits in a spot that impeads the best location for parking the rv. Then if you move the pit they threaten to kick you out. Almost every campsite with an rv had moved their pit to accomodate their rv. Someone needs to wake up
Very beautiful beach and quiet area
Great campsite and awesome beach for kids to swim!
Amazon place to enjoy some nature. Full of snow in winter but still great for a walk! Note: parking spot is closed when is full of snow so be ready to walk even more.
Amazing views after a short hike! Nice place to bring family for some much needed bonding time during this pandemic
Nature
Great place to explore Fsr's in my Toyota Tacoma DoubleCab 4X4
Beautiful clear lake and snow capped peaks. The campgrounds can be busy on weekends but we found peaceful surroundings
So beautiful
Great place for family camping, but i thing the camp sites to close to each other.
Beautiful and peaceful
Arsome camp sites, bathrooms nice and clean. Will be going back
Great lakes and trails, 45 mins drive from Cultus Lake, Chilliwack
It's just okay.
Awseom place to take your family
Campsite pics are misleading
(Translated) illiwack Lake Provincial Park Here the lake is a turquoise ocean, which can be rowed, swimming, wild blowing, there are multiple campsites by the lake, and the largest water park in B C. It feels good to recommend it to everyone. (Original) illiwack Lake Provincial Park这里湖水是碧波荡洋,能划船、游泳.野吹、湖边有多个露营地、还有B C最大水上乐园。感觉不错推荐给大家。
I love driving up to Chilliwack lake, you can walk to the beginning of the Vedder river and it's close to the beautiful and popular Lindeman Lake.
This is the place to go to get away from just about everyone else, except for those who have also gotten away from everyone else too. Peace and serenity, calm and quiet. An idyllic location without a doubt.
Great place to visit, lots of hiking trails, the view of the lake is stunning.
Love this place :)
amazing breathtaking views, clean water . you can see forever in the lake
Camping ,trails, fresh air, fire ban Still fun.
Gorgeous
Nice quick hike but quite busy
Very nice lake but cold
Short walk through campground and view opens up to beach, beautiful lake and Mountain views. Still some ice and snow but definitely worth seeing even this early in the year
Very scenic place. Not a ton of traffic like cultus
Love this lake and love the trails around it. Lindeman Lake trail is a great hike with a beautiful lake at the top.. and if you like scaling rocks keep going past Lindeman lake to Greendrop lake.. beautiful scenery along the way and not as busy.
amazing beautiful park tucked away in a corner of the lower mainland. the hike up to linderman lake and greendrop lake is a good hike that gets the blood flowing with an amazing reward when you arrive at either of the two lakes. the campgrounds are well maintained, spacious, and with enough distance from the neighboring campgrounds. one of my favorite places to camp at.
Too crowded, stay home
No beach however nice out in the boat
was great camp site.....
Big clean lake with lots of hiking opportunities
Amazing place!
Just beautiful. A must place to visit.
Good place for rest
Beautiful lake lots of hiking
Nice place
Good hike, around 250 m elevation gain and rocky paths. The lake water was clean and would have like to swim but the water was ice cold and it was a windy day.
Such a beautiful place. Tonsof pictures to be taken and lots of privacy if you go before summer
Great campsite
Lindeman lake is amazing
Beautiful.
Great day trip. One hour from Abbotsford. Lake is wonderful. Great hiking and easy trails. Bring a lunch.
Nice and quiet. Large sites. Pristine wilderness. Great staff - dealt with a problem quickly and professenly.
Simply beautiful, and the water is so clear.
We only hiked to Lindeman Lake. Very nice. Start your hike at around 9 to 10 am if you want to avoid the crowds.
Relaxing
Absolutely beautiful Lake! parking and boat launch were a bit challenging.
Absolutely gorgeous place to enjoy with family. No cell phone reception makes a real vacation!
Beautiful lake and quiet enough! The sun moves away from beach by 4pm in late summer so get there early to make the most of it.
Style
Nice hike, friendly squirrel along the way.
It would be a five if not for the ongoing construction
Beautiful park for camping, picnic or day trips. The beach is narrow and there isn't much shade available. But in general it's nice.
Way to busy,, boat launch is down a steep hill with no room to turn around due to people parking in the no parking area. Too many conflicts arise asking people to move their vehicles. Won't go back there until off season
Beautiful place. Will definitely go back.
Very clean
Great place for a day in the outdoors
the beach is average, but do not miss the trail to 3 lakes
Absolutely stunning view and a fun trail to hike!
Nice trails
Campsites clean. The lock for the Sani dump frequently broken.
Was great.
The lake and surrounding area is pristine and beautiful. The campground is another story. Its loud and out of control and over utilized. 95 percent of tge sites are prereserved by people out of the country. Unfortunatley these users dont seem to understand the concept of peace and quiet when camping. The staff are great though and seem to be in agreeance with myself and wish the place went back to first come first serve.
Best place to be quiet and amazing view
It's a nice place to visit except not many spaces for parking, the road conditions not paved and too dusty.
Beautiful place to relax. Clean sandy beach
Great place..
Love the relaxing area.Chances of seeing bears are high.
Road was fine. I don't have a 4x4 and was able to get there without any issues. Campground is in good condition. Washrooms were clean (no flush). We stayed in paleface and unfortunately there were 2 noisy groups that went past beyond quiet time. They couldn't care less about other people. Talking loud, burping and laughing loudly till 1-2am. We had to move to a different campgroung. It's unfortunate these people do this. Next day they started again early and we were confronted with rudeness after asking them to lower it down (at 6am). Bring some earplugs, you never know who your camping neighbor will be.
Amazing place. Awesome scenery. I love thia place.
So peaceful. And nice to be out of cell range.
Stupid helicopter pad where a nice beach used to be
Nice green clear water
Totally useless camp managers. They let people (who were doing daily rental of a trailer) party until 4am. This went on for 3 nights (3 different renters). Short walk to the lake, which is super cold, but nice.
Really well maintained campsites with lots of sites to choose from. Lake is clean and gorgeous but cold!
Beautiful hike
Beautiful location, friendly staff. Very nice rural place. Love the nature.
There are no benches for a picnic here .so if you are planning for a picnic , bring your chairs with you . It is most likely for boats and swimming . However the view is spectacular.
Breathtaking views
Fantastic camping trip! It was our first camping trip in BC amd had never been in the Chilliwack area before..we picked the right park! Amazing views, nice quiet beach areas, dog friendly and park staff are amazing..very accomodating..we devided to stay another night than we had initially booked and it was no problem at all. Great week! Will be back next month.
