Fairly inexpensive for tenting and the showers are free. No potable water though for some reason even though it's close proximity to Chibougamau but you can buy it there or up the road at the gas station.

(Translated) Small campsite near downtown Chibougamau, cheap ($ 46.00 for 2 nights without service, taxes included). Beautiful location near Lake Sauvage, with a little soaked soils, but well, with beautiful homes. Showers clean and free. The water from the campsite is not drinkable, so plan it all .. We were well received and the attendant gave us good information about the city and tourist activities. (Original) Petit camping près du centre-ville de Chibougamau , pas cher (46.00$ pour 2 nuits sans service, taxes incluses ). Bel emplacement près du Lac Sauvage, avec terrains un peu trempés, ,mais bien, avec de beaux foyers. Douches propres et gratuites. L'eau du camping est non potable,,donc prévoir le tout.. Nous avons été bien accueilli et le préposé nous a donné de bons renseignements sur la ville et les activités touristiques.
