there are very few options in town to stay so thought would be compromise in quality but was surprisingly happy with overall experience and the way i was treated, the gentlemen who check us in was very accommodative and caring for our special request , would happily recommend this to the visitors

The Comfort Inn was very clean and quiet. We were a bit concerned when we arrived on how far it was away from the downtown area. But Cab rides were very reasonable which allowed us to have a fun night out. I would definitely stay again.

It was the most disappointing stays I have ever had.

This hotel is great to stay at with your pet. Easy to open sliding door and get in and put of the room. Very quiet but expected rooms with two beds in it. Simple but has everything you may need in it.

The room was comfortable and, once the fan/ventilation was running for a while, smelled okay. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff welcomed me in a friendly and efficient manner and tried to accommodate all my requests. The hot breakfast egg patties were terrible — watery and did not taste like eggs at all.

The TV didnt work, the shower door wouldnt close, there was no clean up/supply replenishment between the 2 nights we stayed. We had a coffee maker with 2 sugar packets and 2 creamer packets that was supposed to last 2 people for 2 nights. Call the front desk and nobody answered. The bed was adequate and the room was clean. I just expected more since the room cost $358 for 2 nights.

Over priced compared to rooms elsewhere for what you get

This hotel meets expectations of a comfort inn. Staff outstanding. Looking a little tired but clean, great service and can't beat ground level rooms with walkout to vehicle for convenience. A little pricier than other comfort inns.

Easy stay. Small room, very clean easy parking but get first floor. Our room had sliding glass door to parking lot. No view but easy load for bags. All staff we met were excellent. Very pet friendly. Breakfast area small and average.

The room I stayed in was previously smoked in. This is the perfect hotel if you’re a smoker... you get a chair to sit outside your room on the ground floor and stink out everyone around you. If you have any sensitivity to smoke, skip this hotel.

This hotel has been updated and was quite comfortable. Having a fridge in the room is a bonus. The location is acceptable and easy to visit other places in the area from. The staff was very helpful with local information.

Friendly,easy checking in, maintain guests privacy, had to ask for linens,towels, garbage bags etc.after day 8. No one's been in to vacuum carpet,sanitize bathroom,wipe down surfaces after being here 10 days( may Be due to Covid-19) there brochure stated new linens etc to be provided every 3 days. That may be there "usual" . Due to not knowing where guests are coming from,if vaccinated,have traveled out of province this may be a precaution. It's really no bother to ask because they are super accommodating,fast getting you what you need and extremely friendly. To be fair I haven't asked them to clean,but they see us leave and no when room is vacant I thought they would be in to vacuum and do bathroom. At least have the option to place a sign on door to let them know you are out and what needs to be done. Otherwise great staff,clean,cozy,quiet atmosphere.

Convenient and responsibly priced. The rooms with 2 double beds are in the ground floor with direct access to the outdoor. This is definitely a plus. The hotel is a bit old but still in a fairly good condition. The rooms in the ground floor because of their convenience are mostly used more and you can feel it.

We stayed for our son's sledge hockey tournament. The room was comfortable, well equipped and quiet!! Breakfast was good as well.

This was my first stay at this location and do not think I will be returning for my next business trip. Rooms were not very cleaned at all and there were a lot of shady workers hanging around my window smoking and such which didn't make my stay enjoyable at all. I think they shouldn't allow the workers to hang out in the lot to smoke their cigarettes and weed. It's not making it enjoyable for the other people staying there wanting some peace along with clean air.

Located on outskirts of Charlottetown, quiet location. We had room on lower level so were able to access items from car via sliding doors which had additional safety features to ensure security. Breakfast was not bad. There is no pool so my granddaughter was a bit disappointed about that.

This is a great place to stay. Has no indoor pool but if your wanting an easy access Hotel for business purposes this is great stay. Have morning breakfast option, and also Mcdonalds and Tim Hortons just down the road.

The hotel is right on the trail and allows you to park your trailer for the duration making a very convenient choice. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable albeit the heating and air conditioning unit was in need of repair.

We stay at a lot of hotels, and stayed in a few this particular trip that are 4 and 5 star and we paid the same price for this place. Very disappointing. The room smelled, cleanliness was lacking, the beds were lumpy and horribly uncomfortable. This is a glorified motel with dated carpet, dated beds, dated furniture and it smells like an old guys cologne mixed with alcohol and cigars. We paid 200 bucks and it was worth maybe 79 bucks. We stayed at Hiltons for less. Breakfast was not edible, eggs and the sausage were sitting in water.

The Comfort Inn in Kirkland Lake is an excellent choice. There is good value for the cost. Comfort Inn properties are not spectacular but they are consistently good. I travel a great deal and stay in Comfort Inns frequently. I continue to recommend Comfort Inns to friends and colleagues.

Very clean rooms and everything you need for an extended stay. Close to grocery store and lots of food. Sam in the front office is a super friendly guy and seems to be willing to help you out with any questions you may come up with.

I stayed here ..mould and bugs

We stayed here this past summer. Glen was fantastic and so accommodating. However the hotel itself was smokey and dirty! It took 5 rooms before we found one that we could tolerate. We were told they would be having a million dollar renovation, let's hope new bedding is included in that reno! We will give them a second chance, but not until their renovation is complete. Hopefully my next review will be a positive one! I give Glen 10 stars though!! He's great!

Clean and comfy to spend time in,as opposed to the side of a hill made of rocks yet still quite handy a busy street to the city the whole time being wrapped, clothed in a white comforter next to a native man on his way to becoming a native woman????????????
