You will see all the reviews of real people who use the services of Montmorency Falls (Zoo) in Charlesbourg (Canada).
At the moment this firm receives a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 and the score was based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is basically the top, and it's based on a large number of opinions, so we can think that the evaluation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their review when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Zoo corresponds to the category of Observation deck.
Very impressive falls that took my breath away! We took the cable car up but it's not that close to the falls, only gives you a side view, and was very short, so it was not as exciting as I had expected. The suspension bridge is cool even though it took us a bit of time to find it. Beware that the suspension bridge placement is not that very good. I think better pictures would be had if it was placed a little lower.
Nice place to walk and exercise and see water gushing... loved the huge multi-level staircase.
After seeing Niagara Falls, this was like okay. But might as well spend some time appreciating beauty of nature while up there. But to pay for this? I wonder. Drive to this spot or park entrance was good. We parked at one of the supermarket and it was okay.
Worth the trip even if it is just for some great exercise in nature. The view is beautiful though and will help take your mind off the 400+ stairs :). We walked across the suspension bridge and down the stairs then took the tram back up.
The falls are alwas so impressive and it feels so nice walking in the forest behind it enjoying all the beautiful colours
Majestic and humbling. There is zip lining and other fun activities but I was too busy being caught up in just viewing the falls from the bridge and the stairs. Wonderful place for a picnic and day with the family.
Awesome place for a day trip, beautiful small town and very attractive view points from the top. Enjoyed the Gondola rides and lots of places to have some photography. Nice family time and beautiful waterfall will make your day. Depends upon the season but i enjoyed the starting of fall time with normal temperature and beautiful tree colours.
Beautiful waterfalls, well arranged to visit. Different possibilities to visit for people that want to walk a bit more or a bit less but still be able to see everything. If it’s hot, bring some water because there’s not a lot of possibilities to get some during the route.
Nice scenic walk over the bridge with spectacular views. You can truly see the power and beauty of water falling down. It can be crowded. Easy access from upper parking lot or Montmorency estate or by telepherique from parc building and lower parking lot.
The falls are about 15 minutes from Quebec city. 4$ per adult for QC résidents, free for kids + 4$ parking. The cable cars were sadly closed during my visit, but if you are looking for a challenge, cross the bridge and take the 500 steps down the stairs for more up close view of the falls and a great chill spot to take in the beautiful views. You will have to climb 500 steps back up, not for the faint of heart but well worth the effort. There is beautiful greenery all around to have a picnic or sit around and take in nature. The views and sound of the falls is gorgeous, not to be missed! Enjoy!
Very nice place. Prepare to walk a lot $12.50 for parking plus cable car ???? extra.
The falls were great. The admission was about $17 for 2 adults, the kids under 17 were free. We found the cable car too expensive (about $50 for the family in addition to admission) so we opted to just walk the trail and bridge. There were some food trucks and vending machines on site. Wonderful few hours.
Staggeringly beautiful, no matter what the weather is like. Cannot miss this place.
Gorgeous place! Definitely great place to spend a day peacefully strolling through the woods or ziplining for the more adventurous ones. The zipline is really cool and you can actually get a video for free by downloading an app. You receive instructions on how to do so at the zipline base. Definitely a must see when in Quebec! Just a short drive away from Vieux Quebec.
Nice place to take pictures , beautiful views from different angles. Now they are building many new things but still nice ????
Great trails and views. Have been there only in Winter time but would love to check it out in summer time. Did tobogganing there, since we didn'thave time beforesunset to leave for anotherplace! Not the best place, but it works and it was fun!
Such a beautiful park and mountain! Wonderful for hiking or a more gentle walk. Lots of space to relax and enjoy a picnic or sunbathe. A must see!
you can hike from the upper parking lot to the bridge or take a gondola ride from lower parking lot. gondola tickets are separate from parking. its a nice place to visit during summer and winter as well. amazing views all year round.
Although I believe that the park looks amazing in all the seasons, but there is something special about it in autumn....A short walk through the trees full of colorful leaves, splendid Montmorency Falls, breathtaking views of the surrounding from the suspension bridge over the falls- It's totally worth the experience!!
Great park! Enjoyable for kids and adults. Lots of natural space and places to picnic
Such a cool spot! Awesome viewing area, lots of lookout/break spots on the way up the steps, it's just too bad the best part of it was closed off for construction, but I guess my timing was just bad! Definitely a good little workout too.
Gorgeous! Visited Montmorency Falls while in Quebec City, and it was one of the highlights. The waterfall is breathtaking and there is a beautiful space to walk around. Highly recommend!!
Parking $12.50 for car, $8.50 for motorcycle. No entrance fee. The upper area is a nice picnic area and there also is a playground for kids with swings. We saw 3 groundhogs and couple of squirrels running about. A short walk to the viewing at top of the staircase. View from this is good enough for some. Going down the stairs is a difficult decision as it looks way too high but also looks like fun. My older son gave up but I and my younger son decided to go down and found that going down was not big a deal. You can get close to the fall and the cold mist can soak you up in just 10 minutes. We were lucky to catch a small rainbow near the bottom of the fall. Now going up is kind of painfull if you are over 40. If you are not physically suit to climb back up then walk around to the cable car and buy a ticket to get up. Cable car ticket: $12.50 for adult, $6.50 for kid up to 17. At the top is a nice building and also a restaurant before 5:00pm. The restaurant was closed when we got there so don’t know how good it is. There are couple of vending machines on the right side of the restaurant to get water or soft drinks. Keep walking to the right towards the suspension bridge, cross it and you’ll be back at the picnic area. My wife, just woke up from her nap and missed all the previous actions, wanted to go down to see for herself and I had to walk down the stairs the 2nd time. Both of us decided to try to climb back up. Boys, It’s doable but for us 50+ we had to stop about 10 times to catched our breath. We took advantage of those by enjoying the views and snapping a few more pictures.
Nice view of the falls Surrounding areas of the park are being renovated but nicely done to keep tourist flow. Good social distancing measures and sanitation stations in place Very long lines for the cable car up
Really beautiful place! Not only are the falls great to see but there are great places to sit and relax. Nice park areas. Busy but worth checking out.
I was astounded with les chutes montmorency! I was vacationing in Quebec and wasn’t sure what to do but I took a bus from Quebec City almost directly to les chutes. If you plan it right (you can just use google maps) then it’s not hard to get there within an hour from Quebec City (I was in the old town). It wasn’t expensive at all and it was super beautiful! It was self guided and didn’t take more than an hour and a half going at a food pace. I loved it! I brought a sandwich in Quebec and ate it while I was at the base of the waterfall it was amazing.
Very beautiful! It is worth a visit. The area was very celan and organized. We went there during covid and they had put hand sanitizers at both sides of the bridge and red spots with social distancing for people to stand and they had soecified the path for people passing by. There was ziplining iver the falls which was very fun and the price was good. Highly recommended.
Beautiful scenery and a great place to take pictures and zip line. The walk up can be very tolling especially on hot days, so bring water and comfortable clothing and shoes.
Half Frozen waterfalls .. truly amazing
Great place to enjoy, specially in summer. Is a big walk but is really amazing. The enter is really cheaper, and if you are from the Province of Quebec is even more cheaper. There are green ares for picnic, pictures or just to enjoy! Clean bathroom and friendly staff!
Beautiful manor with picturesque walks and trails, culminating in a breathtaking walk over the falls on a suspension bridge. Fantastic views of the islands as well. It’s extra special during the autumn, when the leaves change colours.
Did they really need to charge extra for parking after charging you for the entry fee? then you need to pay even more for the activities inside. If you want to see waterfalls, go to niagara. Otherwise would recommend visiting old quebec city. More interesting place to visit.
nice place for a walk, part of the trail is closed now but still great. The view is awesome.
A must to visit place if you are going to Quebec City. We visited in July 2021 and some of the areas were closed for construction, but overall it was a day well spent. Walking up on the suspension bridge while looking at the magnificent falls was a great experience. Ticket was $4/adult for residents of Quebec and I think $8 for others. Parking was also for $4, completely reasonable for the beautiful experience that you'll get.
It was nice. Quick and short, it is a nice short walk, about 7 minutes. It's a lovely waterfall. The area is clean and well plowed. I suggest really good snow boots if you are going in the winter, consider snow cleats for your shoes because …
A good place where you can have a picnic, nice place to walk around and nice view
Fun outing, Rock climbing was open as well. Not everything is back yet but a good place for a hike
Beautiful waterfall ! A flat trail leads to the suspension bridge overlooking the falls- fine for children and older adults. The lower observation platform requires navigation of A Lot of stairs ;-) Current cost is $8 canadian per adult with unlimited entry throughout the day. Certainly worth a visit while in Quebec City!
Amazing falls with beautiful apple garden. ????❤️
Absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended. Would return again
Really nice place to visit. If you are fit and don't really want to pay $40 to use the cable car just park on the street and use the steps.
Really enjoyed our visit today. The grounds are beautifully groomed and maintained. Many spots great for photos; all instagramable! The gondola is a nice ride down where you can snap some great pics of the falls. There is also a cafe at the bottom where you can purchase pastries, sandwiches and coffee/drinks. The Manoir Montmorency is lovely. Great service with English speaking staff. The menu is also nice with a wide selection to choose from.
Beautiful waterfall, especially in autumn. Nice walking trails around and it even has a zip line across the falls (book in advance on the website). Highly recommend if you're visiting Quebec City
This falls is pretty freaking awesome. Cable car and cable bridge, nice landscapes around. Yes, those steps to go down and you will pay back when you get up. And spectacular thing is the rainbow. Anyone will love this place.
I go there often but it was the first time I went during the night. The experience is different and pretty scary! We were alone. You get chills and it is so nice! You only hear the falls. The view was incredible. I suggest going when it's dark and not crowded.
Strong filings end scaring on top of the falls
It’s worth the price of admission. This park has a nice trail with an amazing view of the falls from the bridge and from the bottom.
The cable cars were closed for the season. The last day opened was October 11th, Thanksgiving Monday. The whole area is under renovation & construction. The area will look amazing once everything is completed. We were still able to see the Falls and surrounding park. Since it was technically closed, the parking was free.
$20 parking + admission on weekend. The views from bridge are beautiful but to get full view of falls they have a short trail. The view is worth the workout.
Great place! Its gorgeous, even in winter.
A must visit place a little outside of Quebec City. A walk less than 2 miles and you get different views of this beauty!
Worth checking out if the water if flowing! See it first by driving through the highway, then park and go up close. The walk path to the bridge is a nice view!
Look nice, but the park is little bit small
Went there on 10 July 2021, it was amazing tough the area down the stairs is under construction so we didn't get so close to the falls down. And zip line is temporarily closed... It was a refreshing and tiring trip but worth it to see the beauty of nature.
A place for everyone. Family, couples, friends, sightseeing...etc Pros. Easy to access. Can be reached by car, on foot, biking or cable cart. Easy to park. Plenty of parking. Easy to locate. Close to parking, few entrances. Nice view. Exciting to walk across right on top of the fall. But not too scary. Cons. Amended with a small park. Not too many restaurants nearby. Overall worth to go.
I’ve seen a lot of waterfalls, some were magnificent and some were average. However, this is didn’t disappoint me! I liked the top was covered by the snow and ice but the water still FALLS!!
The day we went was a bit cold it was slightly snowing. There are two parking area to the falls but one of them was closed. The parking looked like paid parking so we decided to park near McDonald's. After we walked into the falls area, there was a bridge that outs you right over the falls giving you a close-up top view of it! If you cross the bridge towards to the east side there is a trail/path to go down towards the bottom of the falls. Here you can get a nice close-up view. Make sure your equipment is water resistant as to avoid water damage from the mist. After your hike down you can grab the gondola back up to the top if you don't wish to climb the stairs. I decided to walk so I didn't check out the price of the gondola ride. Overall, great place for photos and workout.
Great landscape, great view. The waterfall is amazing and huge! I highly recommend!
The views are amazing! You can go to the bridge to see a view from the top. You can also go down the wooden stairs to view it from the bottom. PARKING TIP: you can park on the side street so you don't have to pay a fee to go to the bridge.
Loved sitting at the spot and just watching the falls. Great place to bring kids. There's also a park and swings near the falls. A cable car takes you to the spot near the falls where you can walk the bridge above the falls
Definitely a must visit place but it does get pretty cold so make sure you have some toe warmers
There are two locations from where you can enjoy the falls. First is from the top, you can walk on the bridge and have a top view of the falls. Beautiful scenery and cool breeze. Second is from the bottom, where you would take stairs and reach at the bottom of the falls. I liked that one better, you will get full view of the waterfall and its surroundings. There is also a restaurant and souvenir shop near the falls.
Its nice to visit. We had such a blast at Montmorency Falls! The sight of the waterfall is pretty spectacular from the bottom! The walk up is not too terrible but I will say the walk down is a bit hard with children so big no no!!! Walking across the bridge was exciting and it’s a great !! Bring a hat with you and take your time enjoying this wonderful place
Beautiful! I recommend coming here with friends or family. Its very peaceful, even if there's alot of people. The park is huge and you can even go for a small 50 minutes hike in the mountain.
Amazing and mind blowing view. It’s give you peace on your mind just to looking around. Went twice during the Summer and Fall. Both time it’s outstanding. But in Fall it was so beautiful feel like I am in a colourful art canvas. It was an extraordinarily feelings. I can put all the good adjectives but it would be still not enough. Definitely will going back again.
Beautiful. Cable car not worth it. Would just climb up and down through apple orchard. Feel something is missing interms of experience considering the beauty of the falls
Crossing the bridge was terrifying ???? If you don't have a fear of bridges though you'll love it. Honestly, it was breathtaking. It is a beautiful scenery in a place rich with culture. I would love to visit in the summer as well, when it is warmer.
Super class location areal view complete lake. \hanging bridge park falls down point. No words we have to feel it. Canada Quebec is most \beautiful place in the world god blessed..... washroom cable winch entrance \lobby food court area crystal clear water wheel chair assistant car parking free I recommended place best scenery class day and night view
Nice place to visit. Great atmosphere. A lot of tourists.
Stunning natural beauty. A suspension bridge right over the fall. Stairs down the eastern cliff side that provide amazing views. Ziplining across the falls in non-covid times. A cable car for going up. Nice visitor centre. This is a must visit when you go to Quebec.
Nice falls to visit while in Quebec City. Its about a 15 minute Uber drive from Quebec City and worth your time to visit. $9 entry per person, $7.50 for seniors. Not as large or majestic as Niagara Falls but you can get up close. There is a walking bridge over the top of the falls and for those who like a lot of steps you can walk down to the bottom of the falls.
Breathtakingly beautiful with a stunning view from the bridge. Loved it!! Went during winter and the frozen falls was a rare sight. The trek is good too. Would recommend you to try this place during fall. They say that's the most ideal time.
Nice place, but website is not up to date, we knew zip lines were closed because it said so, but the cable car was not listed in the closed attractions and it was closed when we got there.
Really nice place to visit. Prices are very reasonable especially if you are from Quebec and the place is quite clean and well maintained. There is some construction, like everywhere else, but should make the place even nicer in the future so happy to see the investment. I would like to see more electric plugs, we arrived early and took the one plug they had, for a natural destination there should be more, notably in Quebec as power comes from hydro electricity. The bridge and the falls are amazing and you can even climb them if you wish.
There's an $8 fee to enter the park and $2 more if you drove a car. We ended up spending more time here since we had to pay, and it was a beautiful park. There are lots of trails to walk around, and there are these crazy stairs you can take to see the waterfalls. The washrooms were clean, this is definitely a nice place to spend the day and have a picnic! There's a playground for kids as well, so I recommend this park for families as well.
Amazing place! Great views, there is a bridge going over the waterfall we walked on. So glad we stopped by. Entrance was free after 6pm.
Gorgeous waterfall There was no place to pay entrace fees. Not sure it was free during the weekend. Ziplinine and other activities are closed. Probably due to the cold season
Definitely worth a visit. You can spend an hour or 2, depending if you choose to climb the steps up and down. Nice view from the top and from the bottom.
Good outdoor activity! Nice walk around the falls, and family friendly. Can get close enough to feel the water spray. Nice photos opportunities around it. Sufficient parking space, although it makes sense to find a spot on the road in order to avoid the rather high parking charges.
Spectacular view from the bridge. Beautiful to watch and hear the huge water fall. Lots of foot traffic though on the bridge. Maybe because it was the weekend. Parking on either side of the bridge.
Absolutely breathtaking. God is great is all I have to say. I've been here twice this is a must see for tourism or even locals
A good way to spend the afternoon in Quebec city. A short 15 - 20 drive from old Quebec. Great value for the experience. I highly recommend the zip line that runs the width of the falls.
Amazing place and beautiful 83 meters fall and view ! Located at 15min at old Quebec with car. You can park in streets outside the parking to save the 11$ fees and just walk few minutes more. You have some trails and wooden stairs (have to cross the bridge) to get a good view, but if you are tired you can use the cable car. Careful with the cold wind if it's not the summer time ! You can find a little park for children to play. No entry fees (Just parking fee that you can avoid) so it's a very good experience for not expensive ????
Natural beauty turned into an expensive tourist trap. Still a nice place to visit, but prepare to sweat if you take the stairs
This is the best place in Quebec. The ladders to hanging bridge was tiring though. Just 10 dollars for car and individual is so cheap for this mesmerizing beauty. Well maintained.
Great place to visit outside of Quebec city. The falls are taller than Niagara falls, however less volume of water. The trek up and down the falls are a great way to see the falls at every angle.
Best viewed from the bottom. Come up the Gondola and follow the trail/ boardwalk from the right side of the Montmorency building. Unfortunately the bottom half is all closed off this year/ season. Hoping to get to see it from its spectacular (bottom) view next year!
the park was smaller than i expected but with free admission and a beautiful view of the waterfall, it was very worth it. i would highly recommend taking the bus to the park as parking is limited and can be difficult to exit the park. we happened to come across a rainbow! very pretty! view overlooking the city is breathtaking! we tried via ferrata, where we scaled the rocks by the waterfall. truly a once in a life time experience where we got super close to the waterfall and an awesome exercise.
Beautiful place and charming views. I visited it in last fall where the gorgeous fall colours were all around. The staff are awesome and they speak English. We paid only around C$ 30 for the parking and that was it. Don’t forget to have your food and snacks with you especially if visiting with family.
The route to fall is so mesmerizing. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as it a long walk to falls. It’s windy most of the time during fall and winter so make sure to wear warm clothes. There are a lot of steps to climb after a certain point if you wish to see the falls from a much better view. So make sure to carry a water bottle and wear comfortable footwear.
Beautiful scenery! They have zip lining that goes from one end of the waterfall to the other. Something that everyone visiting should experience. Thay also have rock climbing which is very safe.
A go to place when you visit Quebec city. They have lovely park but the base of falls park is closed for construction this year. You would have to use stairs to come down the hill and see the falls.
Definitely go check it out if you’re in Quebec City. It’s about 10 mins from old Quebec. We took the stairs up; 487 to be exact! The gondola was not functioning but the stair climb was so worth it. Excellent views. Once at the top you walk through a park like area to the suspension bridge that goes across the falls. Be sure to bring your camera and also a selfie stick :)
One of the famous places in Québec city.
Amazing place that you need to visits if you come to Quebec! The price is good and the view is unbelievable. After Covid some other trails are going to open again and you can do the sliding thing from one side to the other of the water fall. Amazing!
Loved the place! Food and other items in the park are pretty expensive, but nature was at its best! They allow you to go so close to the falls, that experience was mind blowing!
The good weather made for a nice walk across the suspension bridge overlooking the falls. The serene and still water just before the falls is a stark contrast to the glorious in rush of the falls, the sound of which is deafening from atop the bridge. The mouth of the waterfall is cascaded and the rocks look so smooth as time and water flow has made it so. The surrounding walkways through the trails are also relaxing. The historical significance of the falls related to the strategic military location of the palace at the viewpoint is also interesting. The zip line and cable car rides looked interesting but having little kids with us didn't give us enough courage to attempt those. There could be a few more seating areas on the path and a slightly larger play area for the children, but the minimal entrance fee gives a balanced sense of what you get. Overall a satisfying experience for any nature lover.
Wonderful views and a few different ways to experience the falls. You can take the stairs, you can take the cable car, or you can drive up to the top where there is lots of parking there’s a huge field with picnic tables and lots of places to run around great for kids dogs or families. It also has a nice suspension bridge over the falls as well as other review areas. Highly recommend visiting, the price is reasonable as well.
Scenic spot to view a natural wonder. Today was fairly clear and we were able to see the city in the distance.
What a nice park and falls to visit just outside of Quebec City for the most awesome day trip of your life. Admission to the park and falls is fair and so worth it just make sure to bring your camera along for some amazing pics along the way. The suspension bridge and the most amazing stair case are included with park admission and the cable car is an extra cost if needed. The stairs look intimidating but are doable if you are in stable health you can just take your time with breaks along the way.
Highest waterfall in North America! Breathtaking views, easy access, a small walk of the main road. Truly awe-inspiring! There's also a restaurant/coffee shop which probably could be better. Please carry snow spikes, it's really windy and way colder than the thermometer indicates. It was -31°C when we visited but the wind made it feel a lot colder.
A must see in Quebec...the dumping of snow we had made it absolutely gorgeous! We walked down to the first lookout then back across the bridge and right around to the other side in foot deep snow - it was magical!
Very nice waterfall with a cool suspension bridge above it. Only thing missing was an interpretive sign for the Wolfe redoubt. We also would have loved to do the zip line but that was closed for the season.
What a beautiful waterfall! Our stay there was limited by the rain and fog and visibility was reduced as well. But we still enjoyed the views. Hope to get back there in better weather!
Nice spot, as of today, you can’t walk in a loop, you have to go up and then walk back down.
Beautiful landmark to visit in Quebec City! The stairs to climb up & down the sides of the waterfall were closed due to construction but the upside was the parking was free! Recommend that anyone visiting the city make a small detour to visit.
Very impressive fall visited in spring, the flow of the water was crazy! The parking fees is really expensive (12cad) and doesnt include the lift ticket either.
The park is very serene, the falls is stunning, but no comparison to Niagra falls in size and volume of water. There are about 400 steps of stairs to reach the bottom of the falls and after about every hundred steps there are covered benches to sit and enjoy the sound and looks of the falls. The apple orchard is absolutely fantastic. Parking fee is based on number of occupants of the vehicle, we paid $20 for 3 adults and 4 children (fairly reasonable). We went there on a week day, so parking was not a problem, but it can be an issue on a weekend as there are not so many parking spots.
Loved, loved, loved the Via Ferrata experience! Such a unique opportunity with a breath-taking view. Julie was our guide and she was so friendly and patient. She truly went the extra mile to make us have a memorable experience. I felt safe with an ample amount of gear, and metal rungs and ropes were in very good condition. The Via Ferrata course itself was just the right balance of easy and challenging. Highly recommend this to anyone!
Beautiful hotel, tastefully designed and centrally located. Due to COVID there are no housekeeping service so you will need to make your own bed and ask for towels from the front desk when you need them. Otherwise the stay was lovely, we enjoyed the restaurant and the pool but the bar was closed. Will definitely return.
Surprisingly a lot of walking but a lot of family fun
Beautiful site. The trail was very nice and the view amazing. Everything is in very good shape and maintained.
Awesome place. Cable car, walk through the bridge, old Railway track are nice. Perfect place for winter.
12$ parking fee for 2 adults! Thé exploration from the top to bottom lasted around 1-3 depending how fast you go. You are met with really stunning views and it’s a well day spent if you take your time to enjoy ! PS the four photo is the " restricted access area ???? but worth if you don’t get caught ????
Parc de la chute Montmorency is just 15 minutes drive out of Quebec city. There is ample parking space in the lower lot if you want to view the falls from below or walk up as close as to it as permitted. However, there’s a pretty long staircase all the way up to the suspension bridge and park at the top. You can opt for a one way cable car ride and then walk down the stairs. The waterfall is grand, but due to the lack of greenery on one side of it, it looks a bit lacklustre.
We visited the fall in January when the fall is half frozen. Beautiful view and so exciting to drive to the top and small hike over the fall mouth.
We really enjoyed this Parc. It has trails and nice views, and several small playgrounds. The only disappointment is that cable car closes too early. We were late (by 5pm) and had to go back by foot with 2 small kids. Also zipline was closed
This is a great near by place to visit when you're in Quebec city. There's a beautiful park on the other side of the waterfall perfect for picnic.
Gorgeous park for hiking.
What a gorgeous place! I came here as a child and was able to return recently. The falls are just as amazing as they were before. Lots of walking involved if you want to get close enough to the Falls to feel the spray, so wear comfortable shoes. Everything was reasonably clean and the gift shop had a lovely assortment of options (t-shirts, hoodies, stuffed animals, books, mugs, magnets, maple syrup and candies, etc...) at reasonable prices. The staff were bilingual (French and English) which made it easier to ask for assistance. There’s a lovely array of flowers around the property. Don’t miss out the little waterfall on the way in (also pictured) - there’s a tiny parking lot that allows you to stop and take pictures of it. Parking is $12.25 CAD if you don’t take the tram to the top of the falls or do the rock climbing. Definitely worth every penny. (Trivia: it’s actually about 100 feet +/- higher than Niagara Falls)
Very nice experience. We took the cable car up to the falls then crossed the bridge over the falls and too the stairs down. I highly recommend taking the stairs down if you can, you get a better side view of the falls.
I would have never expected this spectacular waterfall a short distance outside of downtown Quebec City. We visited just after 10 am, it was very quiet. There was a small fee to get in, but definitely worth it. There were a number of different viewing points/platforms. I really liked the suspension bridge and the view over the falls. Another great spot was walking down the large number of steps on the north side. There are close to 475 steps, so be prepared to walk back up! Due to the high water levels, the lower viewing section was closed. In addition the Zipline was also closed due to Covid-19. There was a fair amount of parking and two entrances to the upper section of the park. Very cool!
Beautiful and breathtaking waterfall. There needs to be a bit more crowd control on the bridge to keep too many people from going on at the same time. There is a limit of 50 people, but no one was making sure this was done.
Really nice site with beautiful sights all around it there's two Bridges including a suspended one that passes over the falls. There are also stairs that go down a steep cliff that have a beautiful view.
A stunning natural formation which I’ve only visited in the winter. It’s worth the visit to see the waterfall and the ice formations which are created from cold weather. You can walk from the land out over the water to the base of the falls. Make sure you have good footwear to walk on the ice. Parking is always confusing at the site and the visitor centre is not always open.
Montmorency Falls is without a doubt one of the most striking natural wonders in the Québec City area. Stretching upwards a spectacular 83 meters—30 meters higher than Niagara Falls—it attracts thousands of visitors each year.
The cable car is closed during i visit this location,, probably this is nice falls during summer..
One of the scenic waterfall in Quebec city, it's a must see while visiting to Quebec. Parking is available and you can do a hike as well to get a nice view. The bridge crossing is also nice and good spot to catch your memories
If you have the chance to climb the rock beside the falls, DO IT! Such a fun experience!!
Beautiful falls. The board walk is is greatly appreciated every where. Challenge yourselves to take the steps to reach to the highest point to overlook the falls.. Also can enjoy overlooking the falls right from the top bridge by taking the pathway to the bridge from the park.
Must visit place in Quebec City ???? Great place for pictures!! You can easily spend half a day here. There are 500 steps if you want to go down. Climbing 500 stairs is difficult, but it’s fun!
This is an excellent attraction. A bit far away from city centre, but there is a bus. There's ice on the surface, but water is still flowing on the bottom. Magnificent view.
Very lovable place, no doubt i will visit it again
A beautiful natural site to visit, if you feel like going up 487 step to capture great pictures of the falls or take a ride up in a cable car to the top of falls for more amazing views and for more exciments you can go ziplining over the falls!!
Great vistas. Good hike up and around
Beautiful place for a day trip! You can easily do it in 2 hours including travel time. The cable car is highly recommended. We took an Uber there and back and only waited 10 minutes or so.
Excellent location for all tourists in the city. Stunning beauty, great picturesque location. You can take some amazing photographs and get very closeup to the falls. The cable cars are well worth it, parking was free when we went.
Amazing views, great walk on the bridge
Certainly a place to be visited if you have time. If you miss out, you are not missing out much!
The waterfall is amazing. And it's not a long walk from the parking lot.
Nice place to get some stair climbing and snap some photos.
This place is absolutely stunning! The views are spectacular! The bridge spanning the top of the falls and the lookouts are incredible! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Montmorency falls! I want to go back in the summer to see the contrast between winter and summer. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s absolutely amazing to see in the winter and I’m sure equally beautiful in the summer. There’s lots of trails in the area as well which was a lovely bonus.
I read quite a few negative reviews but we decided to visit anyway. Montmorency Falls are located 15 minutes' drive from old Quebec, even with the construction detours from the city. The falls are visible from the road, so for those who don't want an up close look, you can do just that - view from the road. For those who want an up close look, you pay a parking fee (per person) and head over to either walk up the 800+ stairs to view the falls from above, or pay a fee to take a cable car to the top. Once at the top, the view is quite different but still worth seeing. There is a manor / restaurant at the top offering food for those who decide to eat there. There are also food trucks. There are bathroom facilities. In addition, for the more adventurous, you can also partake in zip lining, which was closed during our visit.
Beautiful park. I went in winter and it's amazing. It doesn't cost too much. There is a waterfall higher than Niagara falls.
Loved traveling to this serene place during the cold winter. Less tourists but worth a visit...
Charming, beautiful, breath taking! One of the best place to go to around Quebec city, and going near the bottom of the falls is amazing if you are not afraid of getting wet!
Definitely highlight of our Quebec trip. Must see place if you are around. Super easy to get to, from both sides or even from the bottom. In winter stairs are closed since its all frozen. There is even zip line working in warner months. There is few overlooks around and bridge you can pass right above the waterfall. From city you can take bus 800 for 3,5 cad per person or go by car. In winter it was really magical.
Beautiful place with great view, worth the ride, lots of outdoor spaces for picnic
Great place to visit in the summer. Lots of fun activities like Via Ferrata and zip lining. Lots of green open spaces to picnic. There's an orchard too which is beautiful. The views are breathtaking.
Our day trip to Montmorency Falls from Old Quebec was relaxing and enjoyable! We knew public transportation was available roundtrip from Old Quebec to the falls, but we opted for a taxi, which cost about $35 CAN one way to save time. Admission to the parc was just under $7 CAN per person. We love that the stairs seem to be included in the admission, but as flatlanders, we opted for the scenic cable car ride. We arrived at the upper parc just in time for lunch at Manoir Montmorency before hiking the trail across the bridge and beyond! The zip line was closed, but from the bridge, we could see the via ferrata and the people having that experience!
Nice views. Extremely beautiful in winters. Equally amazing in summer
Nice falls, but with a lot of construction work going on around the base. Apparently there's going to be an underwater walkway? And the zip wires across the falls spoil many photos. I can't help wondering if all this development is spoiling a once lovely natural feature.
Great spot for a quick trail. The waterfall is nice and the path is quiet and clean
To eat at the restaurant, arrive early or it can be over an hour wait if very busy. Some paths were closed. Other parts, under constructions at the bottom of falls so be aware. Lots of other great views, places for picnics. Lots of stairs, so be prepared if you are not in shape. Parking attendant spoke perfect English. Lots of parking if you arrive early. Can't speak to later in the day but it gets very busy.
This place is the best if you enjoy the waterfalls. Walking through the bridge following the map through the stairs to a place which is so stunning and a visual treat to watch. I would say it is the second best waterfalls after Niagara falls
Nice new pathway/boardwalk along the train tracks, with glass fence and steps to relax or take pictures comfortably. They are renovating the lookout area at the bottom of the falls so we couldn't get as close as before. But the stairs are still accessible. We didn't walk to the top this time.
Great experience. This place was pretty crowded and little mismanaged but experiencing the Falls from the top was amazing
A must-see if you are able to. I really enjoyed running the stairs on the cliff to the bottom of the waterfall. If you have the time and you are in good physical shape then run down the stairs, enjoy the waterfall spray, then run back up the stairs. Be careful not to slip.
Construction around it spoils it a bit, but overall a nice place for a stop.
These falls are taller than Niagara falls. They are impressive for sure. Unlike Niagra, you can walk across/over the falls. It does cost, and I am not sure what the admission gets you as we saw plenty of other entries around the falls that did not cost. Either way, $8 isn't bad.
This is one of our favourite places to visit, the waterfall looks absolutely stunning during winters. There is no access through the steps to go to the base of waterfall...however the sight from bridge is worth the visit.
Proudly 30 meters higher than Niagara that has 53m. Very Cold during my visit December 26. It's really advisable to go to the bottom part (I didn't but other friends did after seeing their pictures I realized what I missed)
Didn't got the chance to go over the fall but so nice to go once up there
It's wide open space with a walk over the bridge that goes over the fall . From where you can admire the wide open horizon and enjoy the sounds of the fall across a path full of greenery. Overall a pleasant day visit. This place has an amazing zip line that zips right across the entire breadth of the fall and a significant height. could not do it , but that's definitely on my wish list now!
It's a great place for hiking with amazing views all across the hiking path. Make sure you have comfortable shoes and get ready for hiking up/down the stairs. Last cable ride leaves at 6pm.
It is a pretty nice place to visit. I visited there 5 years ago and it was free to enter at that time. But please note there is no restroom or any public facility if I remember correctly
Beautiful falls...walked across the suspended bridge...spectacular views of the falls from various locations..for more thrilling e experience one can even do ziplining...
Elegant waterfall, a must see if you are in the area. You can park on the bottom and take a trolley to the top or drive to the top and walk across the bridge. When the temperature is below 0 you can see the ice building up at the bottom. There is also zip lining when the temperature is warmer.
Amazing falls and a lot to do ! Tip: buy the tickets right at the park gate to avoid long tickets line inside. Also if u can carry an extra pair of shirt or towel, it will come in handy as u will get soaking wet at the bottom of the falls. If u like a bit of adventure their is a zip line across the falls. For fit people u can climb the stairs, a few hundred i guess, to observation decks and board walk or u can take a gondola all the way up. Bottom line a must visit if u r visiting Quebec city.
Wonderful place and a must see if you are visiting Quebec city for the first time. I went there last summer. You need to buy a ticket at the entrance. Then you can walk to the falls following the map. There is a semi suspension bridge on your way, too. You take the gandolla down and walk the rest of the path. If you wish to take photoes closer to the falls, you can go up the stairs. It has 3 levels and the third one has the best look. There's a machine after the stairs that you can buy pop and juice from.
Great place to go at weekend. It costs $10 / person. Is it worth it? Yes. You could try going on the waterfall. Many activities such as zipline, hiking , picnicking and so on in this area. Some places are building.
Absolutely worth the trip out. We drove on our own rather than the tour bus, parked on one of the neighborhood side streets (legally) since it was heavy Labor Day traffic and walked to the suspension bridge. Spectacular views.
Nice gift shop and park area entrance into spectacular Montmorency Falls!
Amazing place! ???? These falls are amazing! If you're in the area would definitely recommend visiting
Beautiful falls! Unfortunately the viewing stairs are closed because of covid. You can still admire the falls from the suspension bridge and the park area.
First time visiting Montmorency falls. It was such an ugly weather. Crazy rainy day with strong wind, very chilly. Other than the bad weather this was an amazing first experience. We did the zip lining which was amazing. The bridge is breathtaking and the view as well. There wasn’t a lot of people considering we’re in the midst of a pandemic. Everyone kept their distances. Will be back on a beautiful sunny day sometime next summer!
Majestic! A must see while in Quebec.
Great view from the top and the bridge is amazing. Great place to take beautiful pictures.
Breathtaking and thrilling! We went after hours, so we didn't pay to park. We walked along the pathway right up to the falls. We got soaked, but it was worth it. We then drove up to the upper level and it was amazing too, not as thrilling as the lower level, but you have to do both. An amazing thing to do for all ages!
Amazing place. The gps did get me lost a little as I was looking at parking at the bottom of the falls. Make sure you decide if you want to take the cable car all the way to the falls as you pay for it when you pay for the parking. If not you have to walk all the way to the falls. Just make sure you have walking shoes on as it’s a bit of a hike. Once you get to the falls though it’s an amazing view. You can also go down to at the bottom of the falls and maybe take a shower if you’re in the mood. There is also the option of zip line if you’re feeling adventurous. Beautiful place.
What a beauty! Must visit for anyone visiting Quebec City. You just cannot miss this massive massive falls. if you're into adventure stuff and want an adrenaline rush. Do book for a via ferrata and zipline well in advance as they get booked very quickly. It lets you see the falls up close. There's also a cable car which was unfortunately closed when we visited. Check out the status of these activities before you make a plan.
Beautiful place. You can walk over the falls and make a loop around. Take the cable car back up.
Wonderful place to visit. I don't have specific words to describe it. See the pictures. Go and enjoy it yourself
Not worth it, save your $ 50.00 cad per family, crowded slow, long lines, not worth the picture. Full of bus tours. Longest lines to funicular.
A great outing for a couple of hours if you are visiting Quebec City. It's only 15 minutes from downtown. I suggest parking at the bottom entry point, walk towards the falls on the south side, then take the cable car to the top. At the top is a nice park for walking and to view the falls from above. Then walk down the stairs back to the bottom and your car. There is a restaurant and there were also some food trucks on a late summer day.
Best place to visit , beautiful falls , its really amazing to watch the view from bridge and there some sports activities too. Entry free is cheaper for cars. There are some food trucks and restaurants out there. It was crowded when we arrived. If u visit Quebec, then this is a must watch place. Not so far from city also
A must see place in Quebec city. Just take the bus one block from Place Youville (you must have the exact price of the ticket because the driver does.not give change). It is very beautiful in Summer and beginning of Autumn. In Winter II is a total different places and the waterfall freezes. It is also a beautiful experience, although many places get closed because of the ice and snow.
Great time at the falls! There are three parking lots and one ticket gets you into all three. There is a suspension bridge and lots of view points, can easily spend a couple hours here!
The beauty of Montmorency Falls is from afar. If you are able to see them from the water or from below, those are your best bet for pictures. If you take the cable car, be sure and take a picture because when you are on the bridge above them it is a vertical drop and you don't actually see all of the falls. Be sure and stop off at the lookout on the hill for the best view. The only drawback is that the zip-line wires will be in your sight line. Although I did not descend the stairs, I would assume you would get a great picture from that angle. This is a nice stop on your way to Canyon Ste. Anne (which is quite spectacular). This is an easy drive from Quebec City. You can drive up the hill to avoid the cost of the cable car
Great experience overall! View is amazing and food was great! However, I waited nearly an hour for the cable car from the bottom to the top. The ride was underwhelming and if I were to go again I would just walk half way down the stairs then back the way I came. Not much to see at the bottom and the cable car is certainly not worth the wait. Overall great place to visit when in town!
A review from Winter time - Dec 2019. Some tips 1. the base station was closed and there is no need to pay parking. We paid the parking and found later that nothing was open including parking stations. 2. The zipline and cable car is closed for season too. 3. Souvenir shop and boutique is closed on weekdays. 4. You can go up to the falls and the bridge is open but I think it may be subjected to weather conditions. Now for Review... It is Nature at its best, You feel how strong the nature and climatic forces are... the falls is partly frozen in December the basin is almost frozen.. and so is the river from where it is emptying from and also where it is emptying to. The lively and buzz of summer is replaced by cold frozen white paradise..... Spectacular.. Jaw dropping.... Must visit
Fun place to visit, except they have construction going on right now which doesn't allow you to fully walk the trail
The view at Montmorency Falls is absolutely stunning. Definitely recommend visiting this place! The cable cars were not functioning during the time I visited, so the only option was to either take the stairs or park closer to the top of the falls. While it make seem like a lot, taking the stairs is perfect if you want to observe the falls at a much closer angle.
Scenic spot. If you can't handle a lot of stairs make sure you have the patience to wait through long lines for the cable car. Amazing site if you have the energy to hike and walk around in nature. Dog friendly as well! Some construction currently, but recently built deck and walkway are spectacular.
Nice place for a long walk, lot of stairs though so be prepared. Great view of the waterfall.
Beautiful waterfall with a drawbridge you can walk across. There's also a star that you are able to walk all the way down to the bottom of the fall. Just to let you know that it'll be exhausting when you climb all the way back up ????
We visited during winter time, early morning on a weekday. It was very quiet and calm, not a lot of people around. We were able to take a lot of nice pictures. It's definitely worth visiting, impressive waterfalls.
awesome place to venture out.. with family, friends or solo. amazing views and atmosphere. trails, walk or just enjoy a relaxing day and all that close to city. accessible both by road to the top, or just walk to the area. hike the place, enjoying the view or just take ropeway ride. enjoying sun or fall.
Tourist trap. Map makes it look like there is a loop but once you get down the stairs prepare to walk back up them or pay 20$ per person.
Just loved this place. Entry fee 9$ per adult. Best place for day trip
Beautiful falls just 10 minutes away from Quebec city.
A nice place to visit while in Quebec City. About a 10-15 min ride from downtown and worth the visit.
An amazing place to visit while in Quebec City, recently visit here and enjoy the site. The Falls are a bit taller than the Niagara Falls but not as much volume of water, recommended you park below near the highway it's $8 to come in for non-residents of Quebec and about $15 to by the tickets for the Lift car that will take you to the top part of the waterfalls. If you do not want to psy the right you can walk along the edge of the river and climb almost 100m og stairs which is going to be really tiring. Overall very good place
Lovely scenery! I highly recommend visiting in the fall as the different colours of the trees around add to the beauty of the place. If you want a good workout, you can walk up the stairs. But if you just want to go on the suspension bridge and enjoy the view, drive to the Montmorency mansion and there's an access point from there to get onto the suspension bridge.
Breathtaking views, nature in all its glory. 100% worth seeing.
Very beautiful place to visit. The water fall is really exceptional. It was a beautiful experience!!
We had such a blast at Montmorency Falls! The sight of the waterfall is pretty spectacular from the bottom! The walk up is not too terrible but I will say the walk back down is a bit scary!!! Walking across the bridge was exciting and it’s a great place for some selfies!! Bring a hat and some water and take your time enjoying this wonderful sight!!
This place is worth a visit. I would recommend starting here and then driving down to old Quebec city for the afternoon. Take plenty of water if you plan to walk up and down the stairs. Amazing views of the falls along the way. Adults pay $8 and children can enter for free!
Lots of parking $12 entry. Walk across falls and down the stairs. And back up again if you can. Otherwise take the cable car. It’s expensive though for a few minute ride up. One way it almost as expensive as a return ticket. There is zip lining too. Facilities on site and a small restaurant. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.
Great experience at the Montmorency Falls. We got a couple deal for around $45 which included parking and a lift up for two, and I honestly think it was worth it! It was an enjoyable walk once you get there with a restaurant and restrooms on top. The little art pieces/ statues which were centered around the White Widow story I found very cute and romantic. I am glad we paid to go up as I saw a lot of people struggling to use the stairs to go up as we were walking down. The only annoyance was having to wait for some time for a cart, but I think it was due to a practical/poor design- they only have two gondolas, one on its own separate lane. They could have added more gondolas which would go in a circle, but I guess it was done so that in case one breaks down you could still use the second gondola so that people could still get on top. Beautiful views! Lots of photo opportunities. You might get a bit wet at the bottom of the falls, but it's a part of the experience :)
My significant other and I traveled to Quebec City from Ontario and came here to experience the falls. The pictures don't do justice and the view was breathtaking. Well worth the trip, if you come to Quebec City you must come here!
Very beautiful on this day of bright sunshine. Lots of construction work at the outflow/base of the falls. Definitely worth a visit. 2 adults and parking - $20 CDN.
Really worth the walk to get to the other side of the falls. Amazing views and overlooking the river. Was so cold but wouldn't change the experience for anything else.
Great view ???? and amazing experience. Zipline seemed fun and scary. Good nature's liver point with lots of space to get amazing pictures. Their food truck had great sandwiches and chicken wings. Worth at least one visit!
Very impressive place with great views. From the falls to the scenery and the green spaces. Perfect for a family picnic or just a walk. The bottom part is closed for now but it is still possible to descent 3/4 of the stairs.
Stayed using Air b and b in the area of Boischatel , 8 min away by walk from the falls. The falls is beautiful and offers scenic views. Lots of things to from enjoying the views, taking the stairs to get up close views of the falls and enjoying nature . TIP- There is a IGA like 5 min walk away from falls, which is nice to find a great snack . Overall highly recommend to visit. If you are coming from far , consider to stay to in Boischatel area which is close also to Ile d'Orleans also.
Great views and a splendid place for stroll! Highly recommend to visit
Great place to spend a day with the family. Lots of nature paths to the top of the falls. Ample sitting areas and child playground. Return cable car ride to the top is available for an additional $17.00. Best time to come is during inclement weather if you want to avoid huge crowds. Great views , confectionery and washrooms on site. Be sure to bring a raincoat if you plan to walk up the stairs by the zip lining and rock climbing are also available.
Beautiful place to visit, just you might see the weather before visiting and be ready to walk all the down to enjoy the mist of falls...also there are activities like rock climbing and ziplining...
Cool looking falls. I liked how there was a suspension bridge that could be traversed and a stairway down the side that brought you closer to see the falls. It was too bad the zip line was closed when i was there.
Gorgeous falls and the view is stunning. Right outside from Quebec city, easy to reach and can be a very short stop if you are in a hurry)
Beautiful views but parts were closed off for construction. Price of $8 per adult not necessarily worth it for just suspension bridge, but may be worth it for one visit and hiking trails that we didn't have time to check out
The falls are beautiful! I'd love to see them when it's warm out as well, but even in the cold they were not a disappointment!
15 minutes from the old city. Good place to spend a few hours
Sturdy, slightly crowded bridge over some gorgeous falls. Once over the bridge, follow the signs over another small bridge to the observation deck for the absolute best views. Don't listen to that guy with bathroom issues. There are bathrooms everywhere including near the main building and near the observation deck. $4 for Quebec adult residents (province not city) and $8 for outsiders. Well worth it either way.
Entirely free to walk through during the off season.
Beautiful park not too far from Old Quebec. You can also take the bus there. It's very accessible. The views are totally worth it too. A stunning waterfall that you can walk across and also down some stairs all the way to the bottom. You can get up close and personal if you'd like. Plenty of parking spaces too.
Nice for a few hours if you take the boardwalk. The views are good. There's also a big park where you may have s picnic. During the season they have some snack kiosks as well. You might also take the nature trail (about 3km there and back) which brings you to find rapids. Good for kids.
A very high fall in a nice park. Able to walk down to the base of the fall, zip past the fall via zip line. Two parking lots to visit - the one at the to of the fall and another on Highway 138 that will allow you to walk to the fall without having to climb the stairs. Picturesque park with picnic benches and lots of tree shade.
Very beautiful place to see and take pictures
The experience is exhilarating and satisfying!!! The setup is great if you want to get up and close to the falls. They have made a bridge on top of the falls from where you can view it or from the front. There is a walk way from the road and also a road which goes up - then you can descend the 300 odd steps right down to the falls. If you use the road to get there it has a entry fee which is nominal. The sound of the water and the force needs to be heard with your own ears. The view though is outstanding and really jaw dropping. To the front is the falls and to your left is the river with a bridge across. We also saw people rock climbing near the falls - not for me though. This waterfall though is pretty narrow if you compare it to Niagra. We should not be comparing them as each one has its own charm
A beautiful waterfall just outside of old Quebec City. A nice hike up the steps to the top of the falls and then walk directly over them! Of course by then you are thirsty so you can take a small path to a main road above the falls and cross the road to a McDonald's for a little rest stop. Hey, we could have parked up here and walked the top of the falls without all those stairs!
Impressive waterfall comes with impressive fees. They charge fees for the car itself, charge fees per individual, charge fees for the cable car. Other than the fees, they provide nice facilities to access the fall and other necessities. There is a hidden entrance that I see some people use to bypass the fees though.
Perfect little stop along the way, the views are nice, the walk is pleasant especially along the boardwalk and in the wooded area. They also have the zip lining across the falls if you are up for it
The whole area brings you back in historic parts of Quebec. I was very surprised to see how well it was maintained. Would definitely recommend it!
I thought it might be a bit underwhelming but we had a great time! We didn't want to pay for the cable car or the zipline, but we parked at the bottom (~12 dollars) and we climbed the stairs to get to the top. There's a restaurant at the top we didn't go to, but the view was worth the climb (and it's quite a climb). Got some really great pictures and the place was worth the parking cost.
Nice place with a splendid waterfall and some trials for walking. Walk down ramp in front of the falls is good fun. Cable car at 14 dollars unlimited rides per person is good value. Some construction going on presently which should improve things. Overall a nice experience.
Beautiful. However I wish they had decorated the bottom of the fall.
Spectacular park. A few activités are offered, such as rock climbing and zip line. Entrance is free, but parking is not cheap. Too bad there is a highway between the falls and the St-Lawrence River.
Beautiful place, usually crowded during summer weekends.
Very nice and beautiful fall. Cable car is also excellent. Overall its a great place for spending some family time.
We found this by chance and this was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Canada!! Beautiful beautiful water fall and worth the visit. Make sure you go to the bottom and do the top of the falls. We spent about 2 hours here. I had kids from 6 to 13. We all loved this!! Watch out for the poison ivy!!! We did not do the stairways up from the bottom, we paid to ride the car down. If you are here go to the basilica and then there are fall a little farther that we barely missed.
Absolutely beautiful. Such a great hike around and up the falls. Can get many great shots from all angles. The park is clean and staff are nice. Definitely make time to see them if in Quebec. Note: -if it’s windy, be prepared to get a little wet -you can access the falls from on top or below. With plenty of ways to get up and down (lift, staircase, road) -for those daredevils, the park offers rock climbing around the falls to get close and personal. With opportunity to get some rare shots.
Great place for a walk. Cable car ride is quick and safe. Lots of renovations and wooden boardwalks. Bathroom and picnic areas.
Beautiful falls that you can view from multiple perspectives - over the bridge, from the bottom, right up close on the sides. Hear it thunder in all its glory!
Amazing place. Beautiful view. Clean and very enjoyable. You can have a pleasant picnic but no bbq. Walking the stairs of the fall is a good exercise
Such a beautiful place! The trails were well maintained and marked. There are stairs with observations decks for different views of the falls, that lead to a small bridge that takes you to the much longer suspension bridge over the falls...incredible views! We actually drove to the other side of the park to take the trail to the suspension bridge. Well worth a visit!
Absolutely stunning falls and you can actually get a 360 view if you are ready walk and hike plus take the cable car. The view from the suspended bridge is also amazing. The steps to climb down to the bottom of the falls is a little scary but good experience and you will nice views of the falls from different angles.
Nice falls. The amount of water was not too much but good views. Scenic.
Try to park on the street instead of the lot. If you're on foot it's $8 a person vs. $68 for a car on their lot. The falls wasn't worth $68 in my opinion. Also, not only do you pay $68 for parking it's another $16 to take the funicular back up. Park was very nice and the grounds also.
