Omg baaaaby animals!
Amazing place for kids and adults. Great staff and volunteers. Thanks for all the love! Special shout out to the amazing volunteers, Abby and Sydney. You ladies were thoughtful, caring, and showed your wisdom and enthusiasm. May you have long careers working with the animals you so clearly love.
The staff is so friendly! I love going here, it's the best experience ! The animals are so cute!
Slow at the cash but big in heart. Volunteer was super nice and friendly, as well as the owners. The animals as tame as teddy bears.
This place turned a wet and cold day into a spectacular experience! Very friendly animals who loved all the petting and attention, and the human staff were fantastic, too.
this place is pure adorable magic. loved my time there, and the soap is amazing. Also try the cinnamon rolls
Our 2 year old loved it! Goats, pigs, alpacas, kittens, bunnies... And you can pet them all. $5/person. Worth the price.
The workers and owner were extremely pleasant and helpful, the animals were friendly and the location is really nice. Definitely will come here more often during other visits to the Island!
Wonderful place to enjoy a quaint visit with knowledgeable people and happy animals!
IHF , farmer Flori and all volenteers make such a wonderful experience. Guaranteed fun and learning for kids of all ages.
Friendly goats, animals and people at island Hill farm !
They have the cutest goats! Everyone there was so nice even the customers and usually customers can be mean but everyone got along! I would go again! But also you want to participate in the goat run!
An absolute must-see, especially if you have kids (the human kind, I mean!). A wonderfully quaint farm with lots of animals. We had to drag the kids away. An 11/10 experience.
Friendliest staff possible. Amazing experiences with animals in a beautiful place built for them
Good place for kids.
If you love animals, especially goats - this is the place for you. You can tell that care and thought goes into every detail. If you love goats, this is heaven. And did I mention GOATS!
Great place to take the kids to see and learn about the animals.
Cuteness overload
Wonderful!!
One of the best places on the island to bring children and grand children. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The animals are very used to people and are very approachable. Very much a "hands on" experience. Couldn't recommend it more!
Baby goats. Rabbits. You are more then welcomed to hold the baby goats. Walk around the farm. They sell a lot of products that they make. Like goats milk soap
We visited Island Hill Farm on a whim while in port on PEI during a cruise. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and facilities. The animals were all healthy, friendly, and well-socialized. These people take fantastic care of their critters, and it shows. I would choose this over an over-priced and underwhelming trip to Green Gables any day.
Goats and more goats what a great place
Friendly staff. Fun for the kiddo, and can interact with the animals they have.
Very welcoming and friendly, I love taking my toddler here and I love the products from the shop!
This place was amazing!! Who doesn't love baby goats! The staff were so nice.
Great working yet educational farm experience
Happiest place on earth! Held a goat; felt happy!
Love this place! Such a great spot to spend an afternoon hanging with goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits and alpacas. The little shop on site is delightful with a wide variety of goat soaps and other locally made products. Definitely worth a visit!
Amazing farm, clean and well maintained, a great place for kids and family.
This is a wonderful family outing for all ages and maybe some Yoga with the Goats. I loved every moment and the kids had alot of fun with some great memories!!!!
Beautiful farm with amazing caring staff. The owner was around to tell us her hilarious stories and even posed with us for photos. She's doing an amazing job for the community and sharing her passion for animals for everyone to enjoy and learn.
This place was so great! A group of friends and I went because we had a 2 year old in tow, but honestly, we had more fun than the toddler! You can meet, feed, pick up, and hold baby goats. They had alpacas, baby bunnies, ducklings, pigs. They make goats milk products and sell some other local PEI produced snacks! I would definitely recommend this place for children or adults, you can’t not enjoy!
The lady who ran the place was an utter joy and included us in everything they were doing. We helped a two-day old rabbit nurse for the first time, took tons of pictures with the sweet baby goats, whom we also fed. Such a happy, cute place!
What a wonderful place. The animals and the people are so friendly. Will certainly be back!
Amazing place to take the kids and the adults
A return visit for us. This was a huge hit for our much younger girls 4 years ago. It was still a treat for our now teenagers and we adults. An expanded cafe was added with a surprising range of breakfast, lunch and ice cream selection in addition to beverages, coffee and teas. Fresh made donair's were available. My first foray into goat meat wrapped food. It was fine and so was the coffee. It all worked for our group from 13 to Old :) . Will be back next visit to see what's next.
Nice farm with lots of animals, good for kids but don't expect any playground.
Definitely a highlight of our trip!
Love Flory and her goat's
Worth your visit, for all ages. I adore Island Hill Farm. Pack a picnic and enjoy the day!
Wonderful staff, friendly animals, lots to do and explore. We had the chance to watch a goat be milked, feed baby goats, and run with the goats! Lots of fun!!
Absolutely love it here! Can't wait to go back!!!
Friendly staff not too many animals
Very friendly and knowledgable staff. They usually have baby goats and bunnies to hold. Large area where you can play with goats and alpacas. Also have a chicken play area with many chickens in it. Various other animals. Gift shop. Great place to take kids.
A deeply peaceful and idyllic experience. Wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff always asking if you wanna hold the bunnies. The answer is always yes why are you even asking, silly person? If it's not too busy, I recommend a chat with the owner. A sweet and wise lady, who seemingly loves answering questions. Clean washroom on the premises, and free wifi as well so you can immediately post to insta. Gavin is such a drama queen. And make sure you smell the soaps.
What a great experience!!! - fun for any age - exceptionally friendly staff - interactive ( hands on with most of the animals ) - easy to find, close to Charlottetown - reasonable price Would highly recommend for tourists and locals alike. A fantastic way to spend an afternoon.
Absolutely a stress-free place interacting with the animals great for young and old!
Such an awesome place to visit. Lots of adorable animals, and friendly staff.
#cutestplaceonearth pretty much sums it up
My family and I really enjoyed the farm and the animals. For the price it was well worth the visit.
It's such a great place for young and old
Omg everyone was super friendly and kind and the animals were absolute cuteness overload! Perfect for families with children.
Such an amazing experience for a young family. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
A great family experience allowing you to walk the farm at your own pace!
Awesome spot for the kids and the staff were great.
Very good farm for petting. The best place in this island for goat meat. Chicken is tasty. Their ice creams are equally good. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would return again and again.
Kind and helpful staff, friendly animals and a cheerful atmosphere. Everyone had a great time and was reluctant to leave.
Love it here. Flory and staff are all great. The animals are well cared for and it's clean
Good fun for the family. You can hold bunnies and chick. Pet some goats and alpacas. Small gift shop where you can buy soap made from goat milk or cheese.
What a wonderful place . Lots to see and great products to purchase . Bought some goat milk soap .love it . A must place to visit
Soooooo nice. Hold a bunny and a small bird! Pet a very mild mannered Llama!
Be sure to spend 1.5 hours. Be careful. Bunnies will bite holes in coats and have long claws. Try and be there for goat bottle feeding.
Clean, well kept animals, very knowledgeable and friendly crew. Strongly recommend to visit.
Great place to spend the afternoon with the mother goats and their kids. Visit the cafe and gift shop for great homemade goods, coffee, icecream. Beautiful hilltop views!
Great coffee! Didn't visit the barn.
Super fun goats! Relaxing too. Very chill and lots of people eager to chat and tell you about the animals. Alpaca were surprisingly docile. Well worth the $5 admission! Got some farm fresh eggs at the gift shop as well!
Wonderful family friendly experience with many, many goats to pat. Not too structured which worked perfectly for the toddlers we brought (2 and 3yo). They enjoyed just romping around the field looking at goat and alpaca poop and patting the animals. Speaking of which, don't make my city slicker mistakes: closed toe shoes and less billowy clothing are best - the goats are friendly but some enjoy nibbling shirts and pants.
Amazing.. And holding a baby bunny the entire time I shopped for soap made it even better!
Staff are very friendly. The animals are adorable. One thing of warning: the gift shop items aren't price labeled and are absorbantly priced. Be prepared to pay more than you did for admission for a few items.
Staff was fantastic. My daughter had a blast and had so many great experiences
Not as big as advertised but still pretty cute and fun.
Goats!!!! So many wonderful goats! And you can play with them and pet them and feed them and it's amazing! Also, goat meat donair!!!
my kids loved it and the staff are very friendly. well worth the price. we will be going again!
Amazing goat farm, loved it, I love goats so that's why I loved it so much
I love this place so much. The staff and the owner are all very kind, and its such a great experience for kids and adults alike! A must see when visiting PEI ????
This was a great spot!
Nice place to visit with children and summer camps are going on. They can spend time with animals. Fresh meat and eggs are available.
They have a day camp for kids that was such a hit with my 10yr old niece, she now wants to own & operate a farm when she grows up. It's not child labor as we joked about before it started, it's just learning about animals like goats, chickens, rabbits, etc, the care that goes into housing/feeding them, visiting & petting the animals' (new if the timing is right) offspring. It's totally safe & supervised of course. Tip: they keep things clean as they can, but try not to wear your best shoes if you get my drift.
Great place for kids.
Good spot to spend and hour or two. Definitely geared more towards small kids, but our group of adults had fun interacting with and petting the critters. We generally went in the opposite direction of the small kiddos so they could have their fun and we could have ours.
In my opinion it’s overpriced. $66 today for me, my husband, and our kids ages 2,3,5. It is a small hobby goat farm. Cute and good for toddlers/preschoolers. Staff was friendly and the kids had fun. But for what it is and the size, the cost is far too high.
Went on vacation in this part of the country. This was by far the best part of it all! Great if you have kids, great if you don't. The many soaps they sell at the gift shop work very well (tested by yours truly). The beverages are tasty. I fell in love with the cute goats. Even a year later, we still remember their names, and we can watch them grow up thanks to the Island Hill Farm Instagram account. If you're going on vacation on Prince Edward Island, you MUST go there! I'm convinced that you will not regret it.
What an amazing experience! Lovely farm, lovely owner. Can’t wait to come back.
I visited this place with my wife in the summer of 2019. It is simply breathtaking! I have never enjoyed anything more. The animals are really cute and of course the rural surroundings are a treat, considering we came from Toronto.
Family Petting Farm where the animals are a part of the family.
Great place! Owners are very interactive, fun and professional. Very innovative and something for all ages.
Kids had a blast
(Translated) Great place for families. You can pet animals, take rabbits and even bottle-feed baby goats. The owner takes the time to talk to us. There is a small shop to buy soap, candles ... with a very pleasant scent. The place is very well maintained.
Enjoyable place for kids especially...
Cute place and very friendly staff.
Absolutely beautiful place with the most adorable animals and super friendly, sweet Staff! Definitely will be going back! My kids LOVED it.
Great for kids even when it rains
The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. A great place for little ones to get close up and hands on lessons about taking care of familiar farm animals.
Excellent place to take the children/grandchildren, to see a variety of animals and roam among them and pet them. The animals are very used to children being around them - everyone can wander among the goats (of all ages); the last day that I had my granddaughter there, a very young goat thought that my leather purse looked good enough to ear, I had a little problem convincing it their food would be better for it, we spent a fair amount of time with "Lolly" the baby alpacca and momma, they also have laying hens, baby rabbits which the children can hold if they wish to, pigs, ducks/geese, and a donkey. An excellent way to pass a couple of hours with a child and never get the question "Are we leaving yet?"
Visited this place mid April. It truly is cutest place on earth. Tiny little goats will melt your heart while nibbling on your shoe, jacket, scarf or anything they can reach. Friendly staff full of energy. Their bakery has lots of goodies. Baker Joe’s biscuits are awesome too ???? Goat milk soap, chapstick are really good. Too bad candles were out of stock. Will go back on a sunny summer day
Awesome staff and highly enjoyable time with the animals. Wonderful, adorable place!
My favorite place in pei! Would definitely come back
Island Hill Farm was a lovely experience. The staff are friendly, the animals are clearly well taken care of. Couldn't recommend more.
Perfect place for a date- you can pet goats, hold bunnies, and feed all kinds of animals!
We are 3 adults and had a wonderful time. So much watching the goats. The new bunnies were adorable. The staff very friendly and the owner was very friendly. The cafe had yummy treats with we purchased treats for our drive back home tomorrow. Sarah laid claim on the banana bread which I purchased and left for her as a treat for being so nice! Hope she liked it. The only reason I gave 4 stars was I thought a little pricey
One of the funnest places to visit if you have kids! You can pet the goats, feed them grass, hold baby bunnies and goats. And also see chickens, alpacas, donkeys and bees.
This place is about as good as a petting zoo gets. My 1 year old couldn’t get enough and the animals were all incredibly well socialized. They even have a couple alpacas that you can interact with up close and personal. Really a great family outing.
Asking petting farm.
Amazing place!!! Kind people, cute animals...very well taken care! A must place to visit for every family with kids and people who love animals! And the rabbits OMG...so cute! Also, delicious banana bread and blueberry muffins! And goat feta cheese!! Thank you to all the staff and congratulations to farmer Flory!
Always fun place. The staff easy to talk to very helpful. Always willing to answer questions if they can and help you find a animal to sit down with and pet.
There's a million good things to say about this wonderful farm. We visit at least a few times during the summer and love it every time.
Awesome place with a lot of animals and beautiful scenes.
Such a lovely place!!! I’ve been there twice and will be back again.
Great place to spend time with goats, rabbits, ducks, pigs and more. They have plenty of local products for purchase.
Very cool for the kids.
Very organize and friendly staff
Such a cute farm!! Everyone was so friendly! The goats were adorable and awesome! Plenty of animals to see! It was so great!
Lovely staff, probably best latte I've had on the island and goats goats goats. I had so much fun in the morning that I came back with the toddler for the whole afternoon.
The kid loved it. Lovely farm, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and lots of animals to see and touch.
Very expensive for local.
Accurately branded. The cutest place on earth.
Had a lot of fun exploring the farm and participating in their activities like goat milking, goat run, and bottle feeding the baby goats. The owner is super friendly and loves what she does.
So much fun!
This place is absolutely amazing! We visit every time we come to PEI. Farmer Flory loves all her animals. She has obviously cultivated an amazing place to work because of all of the staff are helpful and excited to be there. We love getting to touch all the animals. The many facts shared with us by the staff. We love learning all the goats names and about their distinct personality traits! This is a truly wonderful experience. Well loved and looked forward to by our entire family... The kids, adults, and seniors!
Fantastic place to spend an afternoon with the kids. Our 6 and 4 year absolutely loved this place. They got to hold all of the animals, run with the sheeps in an open field + bottle feed some of the babies. Owner and staff were all fantastic, fantastic energy at this place. I highly recommend visiting, even if you don’t have kids.
Absolutely Fabulous! Was so impressed with the staff...they made it a great experience!
#Cutestplaceonearth
If I were a goat, this is where I'd want to live. These animals are treated like royalty. They are so loved. This farm is immaculate.Staff so friendly and kind. It really is the cutest place on earth. We visited 3 times while here with my grand daughter Lily who is the self proclaimed leader if the Emmett fan club. She made her own shirt with him on it. Hope we will see you again next year. Can we move in ?????
it was great friendly staff
Great spot for young and old alike!
Adorable place! You get to interact with all the animals, and the staff are ready to answer questions and impart their knowledge of the different animals living at the farm. Everyone looks happy to be there, and the animals look extremely well taken care of! I bought some of the goat's milk soap made by the farm, and it was great too!
Best place ever! Lots of animals to love and have fun with. Great for the whole family. You might get to feed the baby goats they are the cutest, they will follow you around and be the cutest thing ever. Overall highly highly recommend perfect for any day in the summer with the whole family grandparents and all!
One of the best local farms around! This is a must visit????
Friendly staff. Good experience
My friends and I had a great time there! We were able to pick up bunnies and be amongst the goats and alpacas. We even tried the goat milk ice cream, which was delicious. It was a very interactive experience and I would definitely go back. I'd love to try the goat yoga next time I'm on the island. Also, the owner, Flory is so nice! You can tell she that she's passionate about the farm. I'll definitely be returning!
You must go for the baby goats. We had a great time and so will you.
One of the best days I've ever had was spent here playing with the goats. The animals are all so well kept and adorable.
Fantastic little paradise.
My family absolutely loved our visit! Now we need to order some more of our new favorite soap!????
Great experience visiting a real farm, where you can see and touch animals: goats, chicks, alpacas; participate in goat's runs, and even feed cute little baby-goats. Flory creates very friendly atmosphere, her team members will help you and explain everything you wanted to know about animals here. Kids will definitely love it, however adults will also do.
Love this little cute spot so much. I'm from PEI and go back every year. Animals and staff r wonderful. The best farm on our island and everyone should go see these very loving animals ????????
This place is a wonderful spot. The baby goats where one of my favorites. All of the animals are very friendly and they love getting attention. Very friendly and informative staff.Definitely worth the visit.
Amazing place. I always bring my friends and family to this great place when they come to visit. The owner and staff is super friendly and will go out of there way to help you out????????
Great experience! My kids absolutely loved this farm. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. Loved the gift shop. We will be back.
A great way to spend the day! The goats are so cute! It is a family owned business on a breathtaking landscape. The staff is so enthusiastic about their work. It has a wonderful gift shop with soaps that smell heavenly. I highly recommend this place for people of all ages!
Very friendly farmers and helpers who encourages us to carry and hug rabbits, sheep and goats.
Wonderful place for both kids and adults. Happy animals, friendly staff and an owner that loves her job.
Overpriced, hardly any animals and not very friendly. Save your money and spend it elsewhere in pei, lots of much better places to go see.
This place is FANTASTIC!!! The owner and staff were down to earth and friendly.
(Translated) Children love it. (Original) 小孩子很喜欢。
A fun day for young and old.
Great for kids off all ages
Really cute place !
This place is the most amazing Farm ever!!!
A little slice of paradise! This is NOT a zoo - the staff and amazing owner, Florine, truly respect these animals and care deeply for them - it isn’t just “entertainment”. It’s a great place to gently interact with lovable and cuddly goats, and learn about the farm and how they live. Plus, you get to bring home awesome goats milk soap, made right there on the farm! We keep going back to this little gem every time we’re in PEI. Don’t miss it, it’s such a fun and worthwhile time! Thank you Island Hill!
Awesome place. More Lovable animals at this place. They crave attention from humans. Why? Because this farm doesn't allow visitors to feed the animals. They do not associate visitors with food. Unlike other farms we've been to this year, all the animals only come to those who have treats in their hands. The animals at Island Hill simply get all the love and attention they can handle as well as the visitors who come to see them. After witnessing this, we would not allow visitors to feed our animals from coin operated vending machines either (if we owned a farm that is). Makes for a much higher quality visit hands down. You'll understand what we mean.
Absolutely lovely owners, employees, friends, animals and gift shop... highly recommend.. will be returning everytime I visit the island
Grandaughter loved the animals here. You can get up close and personal with the animals
Staff are super nice and helpful, good mix of making sure animals aren't overwhelmed while still having a very satisfying hands on experience!
Love this place!
Kids loved interacting with the baby goats.
Staff is amazing!! So much fun!!
Love the farm. Staff is always warm and welcoming, makes you feel like part of the family. The animals are great and food from the cafe- Cinnabuns, muffins and butter tarts are amazing!! Always our favorite place to go when we visit the Island!! Definitely recommended
Island Hill Farm is amazing
Awesome place to visit!! Great staff!!
Perfect place for kids and family to hang around with the animals. Highly recommend.
Best place to visit! Amazing atmosphere, staff and always leaves me with a smile on my face! Highly recommend 5/5 ????
It was an AWESOME time there. The staff was knowledgeable and willing to teach an interact with the kids. Really recommend it.
Nothing wrong with this place. Baby rabbits, big rabbits, goat kids, goats, chicks & chickens, alpacas, pigs and whatever else I can't remember. Nice & clean and plenty of hand sanitizer for the children. Something called the running of the goats is a neat idea and they set up so children can bottle feed goat kids which was also really nice.
(Translated) Expensive for what knows (Original) Cher pour ce que sait
A true gem on PEI! My kids have done nothing but rave about it since we left! We held baby bunnies and goats, helped bottle feed goats, and learned all about the different animals from the wonderful staff. The owner is so kind and you can tell she truly loves each of her animals! We will be back!
Loved it. Staff where awesome and very knowledgeable. Animals well cared for and very friendly. Wanted to take them all home lol
This was a little bit off the beaten path but well worth it kids got to interact with all of the goats thought they were super friendly they even did a milking demonstration. There is also a little shop that sells a ton of different scented goat soap and maple syrup
A great place to interact with animals
The farm is gorgeous. The people amazingly friendly and the wine delicious.
So friendly!
This farm is fantastic! I visited this summer with my family and grand children, and I was amazed. We were able to hold young chicks and bunnies and walk around with the goats in the fields. The farm is clean, well organized and the staff is very friendly. I really enjoyed my visit. Thank you.
Awesome staff and a beautiful facility!!
Beautiful place; friendly people
Great place with wonderful and friendly staff. Everyone enjoyed a lot.
The staff are wonderful and friendly. A great place
Loved it
Great place to hang out for a couple to hours and play with goats.
Such a fun day at the farm!! Delicious ice cream and pinwheel was a BONUS!
Cutest place on earth
We have always had great experiences staff is always kind and cheerful. Flory always makes an effort to say chat with all the guests.
the best place ever
Kids loved it! We could pet and hold the animals. The chickens, bunnies and baby goats were the most popular. Pigs slept. Friendly staff, keen on telling us about the animals. Wish we had brought lunch, so we could have stayed longer. They sold drinks and snacks.
(Translated) Yes, the tickets are slightly more expensive. (Original) 不错,门票略贵。
Amazing doesn't even begin to describe IHF the staff are fantastic, patient and very knowledgeable of all the animals, as well as the extremely kind owner! Great place to take the kids to learn how animals are cared for on a farm, and very very interactive! I cannot reccomend Island Hill Farm highly enough!
The worst place ever. The place is small and crowed. The owner are so arrogant. Few animals even there is no hourse or cow in a farm! The kids doesn't love it at all and we leave after few minutes. It is worthless to pay $50 for almost nothing.
We had such a great visit with the baby goats and animals at IHF. The goat run, feeding, everything was super fun. Flory took the time to talk to us about her business, and about things to do in the area. Definite must see!
Awesome staff and friendly animals
Great for the little ones
Place is a waste of money and time. It's very small, overcrowded and really what's there to do? Look at some goats? We paid a lot for a family of 6 and then they try to get you into their gift shop to pay ridiculous prices for their "handmade" soap? I can make my own for way less! The managers seemed to be really snotty during our visit too. Didn't like the short haired girl at all, she has a know it all vibe going and it's not attractive at all. If I could give lower than 1 star I would!
Only regret is that it was hard to get the kids to leave! If you can, try the goat yoga it was a wonderful experience and even my 9 and 11 year old kids found it great both from a yoga and goat cuddling standpoint.
Very nice place for kids any ages.
Always a great time. The animals are well cared for and friendly. As are the staff and owners! This place always puts a smile on our faces for the whole day.
Staff and owners are excellent hosts. If you and the kids love animals and learning about them this is a great place to visit.
Wonderful experience
Very nice farm lots of in house products. Kids birthday parties and more.
It really is #thecutestplaceonearth
Took a detour to stop in with the kids and ended up spending half the day here. Staff are all amazing and great with kids. My girls loved being able to get up close and hold all the animals and I loved how much they learned about farming. Definitely will be back!
great for toddlers
What a gem!!! A must visit for everyone!!
We love this place. The baby goats are precious. Great for all ages! We will be back
Very good!
Very friendly staff. Great place to spend with the family and friends.
