Reserved a camping lot with Sepaq at Lac Normand. Fun times! Enjoyed the beach, fire pit, canoe and hike!

Nature at its best! The reserve is huge and gravel roads take you to the various campsites throughout. We stayed at Lac Tousignant which is 42km from the main entrance or a 1 hour drive in an SUV. I wouldn’t recommend coming here in anything less than an AWD with good ground clearance. The camp was clean, organized, and peaceful. Lac Tousignant is gorgeous and tranquil. Keep in mind there is no cell service, so it’s very conducive to disconnecting from daily life and being at one with nature. On our way back to the main road, we stopped at Dunbar Falls and it was spectacular. I’ve never camped outside of Ontario and I’m so happy we discovered this gem in Quebec. My only complaint is that I wish we stayed longer. I hope to be back again next year to visit Steamboat Rock and enjoy more days of absolute camping bliss!

Pro: It is a Beautiful place for camping and spending vacation for few days without internet, just watching the water, hearing to birds sounds and enjoying the nature. If you want to get rid off the technology noise for some time, this is the right one. You have around 10 lakes within the Faunique Reserve. You have couple of waterfalls. Cons: But, the camping site is a bit far from the reservation center, which is just after the Mekinak bridge. Our site was 41.5 kms from the reservation center. Please do not use Sedan car for this place as the the roads are gravel roads with lot of stones. Try to take a SUV or a truck like Ford F150. Unfortunately, we used a sedan car and it took 2 hours to reach our camping site from the reservation center.

The discoveries made there are worth the effort. Campsites are well laid out and maintained. We can not wait for next summer to return! (Original) Magnifique, calme et paisible malgré les camions de bois. Les sentiers ne sont pas toujours indiqués et on a souvent l'impression d'être perdus lol. Les découvertes qu'on y fait par contre valent l'effort. Les campings sont bien aménagés et entretenus. On a hâte à l'été prochain pour y retourner!

We stayed at Lac Tusignant campsite for two nights on August. The gentleman in the chalet next to our campsite was very nice and helpful. He provided us with useful suggestions to explore the area by boat and on foot. He even kindly lent us his tarps for the rain. There was only one bathroom and shower per gender, but they were kept very clean. Compared to the Sepaq parks, it was much more remote and less crowded. We could also take some photos of the milky way :)

We see the bottom of the lake 20-30 feet, superb ???????? (Original) Un merveilleux séjour dans cette région, chalet #3 du Lac Dunbar, seul avec notre propre lac, le paradis, 2 chaloupes, un kayak, mordu techno s'abstenir, aucun réseau.....les chalets sont totalement incroyable, tout neuf, vraiment fier d'être abonnés a la Sepaq, il possède les plus beau territoire, pas d'électricité, mais a l'énergie solar, eau chaude frigo, pas d'eau potable. On vois le fond du lac 20-30 pieds, superbe ????????

DO NOT get the ready to fish package. It is honestly a scam. All fishing rods were broken, there were no boxes or tackles or lures. Just buy your own ones. I would've thought such a big org would have a better management.
