If there is one place which you want to go in winter without spending a bomb it’s got a be Chinguacousy park. Ice sledge with enough space for everyone. Free. Bring your sledge that's it. Small kids zipline free. Lots of slides and other play area items. Great place lots of people. You will forget is pandemic and school closed and cold. Bring your kids out who have been literally tortured since school closures. And enjoy the fresh air. Make sure kids are wearing snow pants.

This place is a gem. Brampton is so often bad mouthed for all sorts of nonexistent reasons. It has it's share of problems just like any other big city. But it rarely gets credit for its parks. Chinguacousy park has all modern amenities and a lot of nature spots. It has jungle gyms, splash pads, tennis courts, curling facilities, skating rink and more. It has a petting zoo as well. What more can you ask for a park with ZERO admission fee?

Loved bringing my son here in the summer. He enjoyed the pony rides and the merry go round. Went there the other day and cant wait for the new park to open! Slide looks like it's going to be super fast to go down - hopefully people start watching their kids or else someone's going to fall off the top. Maybe cleaner washrooms would be nice.

Very big park where there a lot of activities can be done. Good for picnic, cycling, walking. The Botanical Garden is absolutely amazing. You’ll enjoy Sitting, taking picture walking around.

I love to go to chinguacousy park. Its located just next to bramlea city center. Its very big compared to other parks in Brampton and well maintain. Park has play area for kid fee typical slides and swings. Also it has pony ride area where Kidd can take ride on pony. Which is exiting. Also there is skating area which opens during winter also you van rent equipment if you don't have one. There are slide area as well where one can take tube slide from down hill. There is running track which is worth to mention.

Beautiful park with lots of amazing activities and even a petting zoo. GReat place to host BBQ parties. Even After Covid the park seems to be a busy place. People don’t really take cautions. New renovated play area for kids. They even have a beautiful green house. It’s a great place to have your photos shoots even weddings. Prior to Covid they had food stands, Ice cream truck and even ???? train rides. They also have winter activities as well. Check out the website for more details. FREE PARKING ????

Nice place to have picnics and little get togethers, but ALWAYS very busy even during the pandemic. So I would suggest going somewhere away from the crowds of people defying covid laws.

Local park for outing and picnic but with a feel that you can spend all day here. Many spots for family picnic, water splashes and pool for kids, playground, enough parking spots all around it and just fun. Sad to see animal farm/ petting zoo closed due to covid-19 restrictions but overall it’s still an enjoyable park. Make sure you carry your picnic stuff, food, chairs etc with you.

Was there today for the Muscular Dystrophy Walk. It is a great park, everything is accessible for people with disabilities! The washrooms are in top cleanliness! Trash and recycle bins everywhere throughout and ample parking. Really like the fitness/workout stations, like a outdoor gym :) I noticed light posts everywhere which makes it safer when it gets dark.

A large swath of green space in downtown Bramalea boasting tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, a skate park, 3 jungle gyms, a pond, ducks, geese, paddle boats, picnic tables and lawn space where people have picnics and fly kites. It's beautiful ????

Nice area to bring your kids, go on a picnic, and/or excerise. Would recommend going here to spend some time. Theres a playground for kids, a wading pool in the summer, and skating rink in the winter. A nice man made lake and petting zoo are also here along side with a green house. Fun park.

Chinguacousy park is a wonderful park. It is so spacious, you can have any type of gathering there. I reccomend going for picnics near the open hills. There is also alot of grass space where kids can play sports such as soccer and cricket. This is certainly not just any normal park, there is so much to do. You can go to the splashpad but if you prefer not to get wet you can go to the normal playground. Then if you choose to you can go to the farm! There is a wide variety of animals to see there such as donkeys, llamas, horses and many others. There is also a beautiful outdoor garden with so many flowers and beautiful settings. The outdoor garden is a great spot for pics! There is also an indoor garden area that is beautiful. And lastly, there is a large waiting pool. Overall, this place is so beautiful and there is just so much that you can do there. There are also staff that clean up your litter to ensure that the park stays clean. I really recommend going to this park:)

I love this park so much, its my go to park because I live so close but you can have fun all day here there are a variety of things to do. With all the renovation they did i know my kids will love it even more which means more relaxing for me... now tell me which parent wouldn't love that and its free, yes free. Free parking, no admission fee, clean washrooms and affordable snacks and drinks. I have and will continue to recommend everyone here especially if you have children. Best park ever.

My first visit was during summer. Good place to hangout with ur friends and family for a complete 1 day. Has splash pads n parks fr kids. Today I visited as they said kids can do snow tubing. To be frank this place is too gud for snow tubing n skiing. They have lift facility to go up the hill. So its very easy for kids to go up in the snowy weather. And the price is very reasonable. For snow tubing they cost only 14 dollars for 6 rides and u can use lift also. Skiing also is gud but we didn't try it. If u have ur own pads fr sliding then for that also they have separate small hill for tat and u can use it fr free. They have separate dressing rooms for skiing persons. They have small food court with light snacks. Rest rooms are also gud. Must recommended place for the winter season.

Did our COVID testing here around 7:30 pm on a Saturday evening. No line up when we came. They take reservations but can also take walk-in. The whole process took us in less than 15 minutes.

We love Ching park & have come here for decades for everything from family / church bbqs, photo shoots in the gardens, birthday parties at the splash pad, and just family days out to the park & farm. There’s tons to do and you can make a full day out of it if you pack lunch. There’s a splash pad, farm with petting zoo + pony rides animals outside on display, a larger wading pool area near the barn, flower gardens, sand volleyball area, skate park etc. They also have bathrooms that are relatively clean which is nice!

Very clean and well kept. The flower gardens and greenhouses are beautiful and are a must-see. On a weekend, this place can get very busy and nearby parking can be difficult.

A very nice park with a variety of stuff to do for kids; playgrounds, splash, climbing a mountain, playing in the sand. It's always crowded with people, but if you want somewhere quiet or not as crowded, the mountain is a good choice+ it's a big park so you'll definitely find less crowded areas.

Never a dull moment for the kids with such a beautiful trail for a relaxing walk or bike ride for the whole family. Activities all year long for every season. Water, park, multiple playgrounds, splash pads, mini golf, train ride, carousel, skating, tubing, skiing, movies under the stars... the list goes on and on. A wonderful place to visit that will be at least an annual tradition! I've been coming since I was a kid and its grown and developed so much and still a favourite spot to take my own family. Highly recommended. Great job Brampton!

Chingaucousy Park is my children's favorite outdoor park in Brampton. They enjoy the splash pad, petting zoo...when available, pram rides, and playgrounds. The park has so many different areas so even when it is crowded, it usually is, you can find an area that isn't crowded. I like seeing so many families out enjoying the outdoors. The paddle boat and lookout area is a very nice area. Parking can be a hassle but accessible parking is usually empty...on busy days they can use more parking enforcement officers as there are sometimes conflicts with a select few not following the bylaws for parking.

This is a really busy park. Lots of things to keep you and any kids occupied but in my opinion too many things in one place or you need to be able to split up your group. It's like anning a day at an amusement park...lol. It's hard to keep the entire group of kids occupied when there are so many things for all ages. Overall a nice park, well kept. Lots of wasps but that's everywhere this year. Enjoy!

Beautiful park close to my house. It has a splash pad for kids, a small zoo, many different rides for youngsters. Fully functional International level track and field stadium, ski slopes. Small boating area. Lots of nice picnic spots. In summer I take my little daughter there almost every week. A must-visit for plant and flower lovers. 10/10 ????

Great open space to enjoy with family and friends. Lots of fun for the kids. Recent renovations to the play area for with a very nice slash pad. Lots of spots for a nice picnic. Structures to be used at your own risk. It can get a bit crowded in the afternoons. I recommend visiting in the morning.

A park this size and with lot of greenery is rare in the heart of a city. A path laid along the periphery is popular among fitness enthusiasts. Lots of cyclists, walkers and joggers. Numerous large trees that were likely planted in early years of the park are a great attraction. The park has faculties for all age groups. There is an open air gym for adults and play area with rides for kids. Sports facilities are many. There is an running track, petting zoo and greenhouse which are currently closed due to pandemic restrictions. There are benches to sit, didn't see any drinking water stations and also didn't notice toilet facilities. A visit to this amazingly green place can be refreshing.

This park has gone through lots of development over the past few years. The park has lots of amenities for the public to use; splash-pad, wading pool, animal farm, playground, volleyball courts, skatepark, track, greenhouse and excellent gardens to walk around. There are lots of picnic tables to have a picnic on, but make sure to get there early on a weekend if you are wanting to use them as they are used for a whole day by groups.

Went for snowboarding. The course wer only few and so short, so probably not for active snowboarder,,,but good for kids and beginner. The price was not too expensive but considering the course setting, I only recommend it to beginner, kids and family.

It was our first time there and we easily found a parking spot and a table for our picnic. The park grounds are spacious and the grass is very well kept. We didn't go into the trail today because the kids were having so much fun in their playground. It has a splashpad with another playground and a lake in which there were geese. There are very clean bathroom facilities open and available at the Boat Pavilion. We saw a lot of families out riding their bikes, skating, working out and walking. Overall, we were impressed and will be back to explore the rest of the park.

I am 9 years old and my brother is 3. I would say this is definitely a place for families with young kids, and older. Picnic spot, Waterpark, park, lake, farm, and everything. You just HAVE to go to Chinguacousy park.

4.5 star for sure. Has a lot to offer and is conveniently located. But the children's play area was teeming with people without masks. Really was bustling like a market. Come on Brampton, getting the highest covid numbers is not a competition. Show some sense. Had me scratching my head as to how this was allowed by the park management.

A lot to see here, animals, nice flowing river with ducks inside, green house with beautiful flowers, play ground for the kids and mini stadium for adults, lots of trees to relax under. Perfect location for a day out with the family! Enough to keep the kiddos busy all day long! There is something for every age. I've seen birthday celebrations done here too. I love this Park! Anytime I'm in the area I make attempts to stop by...just because. They seem to be always doing some improvements on the grounds - beautifying it. They have a petting zoo area, I hope it's still in operation, splash pads, rental space for that meet that family get together (bridal shower, retirement or birthday party etc). Seeing people from all walks of life sharing the space is a hit for me ????????

Good park during summer time! Not bad during winter. Parking is a nightmare in summer time and half the time police blocks new vehicles. Can’t help that half the Brampton wants to hang out here. Better parking management needs to be applied.

It's a best architectural recreational area,Loved it! They have swings and slide for kids as well as farm animals and splash pad. There is a little area with water upto our ankles. I love this park as it is near to the place where we reside.. usually on a weekend basis I always visit the spot where I can find those ducks and geese, and feed them with bread while taking photos and making content on my vlogs.. on the other hand playground for kids is currently closed due to safety against pandemic.. but still has a life on it if the purpose of visitation is for exercising, site seeing and small family activities..

Great to see this park has been developed as much as it has in recent visit. Outdoor recreational choices are vast, track and field which works well for even seniors getting in some workout to the skate park and pools with an immense water and recreational area for kids to let out steam. Huge park right in the middle of Brampton with a huge number of things to do including mini golf, paddle boating, and a petting zoo. I went here for an India festival with a free vegetarian feast which was amazing and decided to swing by the petting zoo afterwards. Will return with my girlfriend to try out the paddle boats ($9.50 / 30 mins).

Depending on the time of day, the park can range between fairly empty to packed with people. Has an animal farm which is always a fun attraction. Track and field well maintained. The park overall is one of the largest in Brampton.

I've been working out regularly at Chingacousy for the past two months, using the set of calisthenics equipment at the park. At a time where gyms are closed, it's been great. And free. The park is well maintained and has plenty of picnic tables and other places to sit. One of the few gems of Brampton.

Absolutely love this park !! My kids and I have been going there for years..we feed the ducks . Lovely animals goats, pigs, sheep donkeys, alpacas, peacocks and now small calfs. And last but not lease the horses..my daughters favorite is cinnamon and smokey.. and now cookie which is cinnamon foe aka baby . Lots of fun in the summer playing area for the kids with splash pad... And merry go round ...even boat ride on the pond where you have to pedal in the small boats up to 4 people can fit .. truly an awesome park oh I almost forgot I took my wedding pics there... lovely flower garden great for pictures... you have to get in touch with them and make an appointment for that part Overall a great place to take the kids!!!

This is a wonderful and well kept park here in Brampton. Lots to do from riding your bike, roller blading, soccer, track and field, paddle boats, volleyball and the farm with small animals. We have brought our nieces and nephews here several times and we always find more things to do. The recent addition of the water park which turns to skating rink was a great idea maximizing the space and use of the park.

Someone please explain why people are not allowed to play volleyball when it says on their website first come first serve, no registration required. Their security guards didn’t let us play and was very very rude. It happened on july 6,2021. After Covid-19, we all are trying to do something outdoor and these people dont let us. Chinguacousy Park is Brampton’s best park in my opinion. There’s a little something for everyone, and activities from a ski hill to a petting zoo. We have come multiple times every year for over 15 years, and still find new things to enjoy.

It's a beautiful Park breath breaking in any season in a good way! Everybody should get out there and get some fresh air open up them lungs and open up some good conversation. Amazing park with so many amenities. It's a great to come with your family. There is a botanical garden and a greenhouse which is excellent for instagram pics. Kids can enjoy splashing at the large wading pool or meeting cute animals at the petting zoo. There's also a tennis court, outdoor fitness equipment and skating park for sport enthusiasts. You can rent out paddle boats, plus there are food vendors of you get hungry!

The park is huge. It has a variety of free as well as paid activities. Free activities: There is a small splash pad and a big one too. There is a big kids play area with slides, swings and other structures. There is a small petting zoo. There are a lot of picnic tables out in the open and in tree shades. Paid activities: There is a carousel for kids, train ride that takes kids and parents through the park’s roads, small pond with paddle boating for 2-4 people and a pony ride. You could reserve a covered shelter area for parties. Parking: It has many entrances and multiple parking lots. Still, on a good summer day, the lots tend to fill up by afternoon. Caution: DO NOT park on the grass or on no parking areas. Parking enforcement is always doing rounds and giving tickets. Tip for parking: If the lots are full, just go to one lot and keep waiting until someone leaves. You should get a spot within 5-15 mins.

Simply the best place to go. If your looking to go somewhere to enjoy a nice walk or have a picnic, This is the right place. So many amenities such as, A kiddy pool, A barn, and, A small lake. There is also many events that have happened in this area. One of my favorites being the Canada's day fireworks. They do it every year only on, July 1. Not many people here on weekdays, There aren't also many people who smoke here (from what I've seen) Overall, If your looking for a place to relax, This is the place you want to go too.

Haven't been there in at least a decade. So a lot had changed but the little ski slopes were still there. That's what i remember the most. Overall a nice place to spend the weekend and with snow season around the corner I hope they open the ski slopes.

I have lived in Toronto for years and have been to Brampton many times but I had no idea that this amazing outdoor scene was right in the middle of suburbia lol...there's a little zoo and splash park and a beautiful garden with places to sit and enjoy nature....we saw a bridal party taking pictures and the staff keeps everything up and well maintained....great place for a day out with the family or just quiet walk to decompress....only thing is get there early coz parking fills up fast...great day was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of it all

We went to Ching for our nieces baby shower. Nice park, they keep it clean, have seen improvements over the years. We wanted to get one of the spots that has a covered area with picnic tables. Some really pretty areas here. New playground has recently been installed, the zipline is a hit. Splash pad is good but busy on the weekends of course as well as the reflecting pool. Honestly there is a ton to do here all year round. Nice bit of green space plunked in the middle of the city. Some parts you can't even tell the city is around you. Ride your bike to the park and then follow any number of trails in/arround/connected to it. Be nice and ring for pedestrians though. In general as I say in most of my posts the place is great but sometimes the people aren't lol. Be courteous everyone and share the space, let everyone have some fun and teach your kids how to share. Oh and don't steal the sanitizer, it's there for everyone folks.

It's a beautiful park but unfortunately doesn't have adequate restrooms. A park of this size should had had more number of toilets/restrooms, to ensure it serves the mass. Apart from that its a beautiful park which is sort of well maintained and good to spend couple of hours with family.

We had an excellent day there. Had a picnic in shady trees, free parking, splash pad for children, boating, nice walk, swings, and decent washrooms. The concrete under the party spots and in some other picnic spots. Although the park did not have trash flying around but we found ugly spots of oil. People must stop deep frying there in order to maintain the beauty of this park. I feel that by planting more in this park shall double its beauty.

Great place for large or small families, exciting and adventurous for young children, and its a nice chill spot for teens and young adults. Tons of green space & well placed picnic benches throughout the park. Snack bar is convient and offers menu items that are all under $4. There is a large fountain that is also used as a children's wadding pool. There are washrooms spread throughout the park, and kept reasonably clean. Over I had a great experience bbqing in the park with family and friends.

It was ok, we went on a Saturday so it was very very busy with people having family gathering luncheons with no masks in these times of a deadly virus going around. No food to feed the poor animals neither ???? we wore masks, let the grandson play at the water park, then left. Not enough shade neither.

I grew up around the corner from Ching Park. Spent many a day here during my youth. I haven't been in the park in 30+ years. I took my fiancé to spend the afternoon and was surprised to see how great this park still is and the vast improvements done. Sad that the bandshell is gone. Lots of memories there. Mini golf is still there, though the new course can't compare to the old. Splash pad looks great. Ran up Mount Ching and the memories flooded. Will definitely go back to check it out again when more restrictions lift.

Love it! A hidden 'Gem' in the GTA. Been coming here as a kid since the 80s, now I bring my own kids. It gets better and better every year, in terms of facilities, functions, and amenities. Free entry and parking are a bonus, it's all funded by Brampton taxpayers and worth every single penny. A very safe park that's great for the kids. Too many activities to list but my favourites are the greenhouse, petting zoo/rides and the ski lodge/hill in the winter.

Large park with lots to do! Splash pad was much smaller than we expected, but the wade pool was huge. The petting zoo was small as well, but the animals were friendly. The botanical garden had some beautiful specimens. So much to do here, you need more than one day to do it all!

Pack you own food and enjoy FREE (mini zoo, park, massive wading pool, or splash pad) entertainment all day, or splurge with some of the rides (train, carousel, mini golf) animal rides (pony)/feedings(goats) and food for what would still be a very inexpensive outing for the day.

Best park ever! They've got a track, tennis court, curling, skating, wade pool, water park, 3 playground structures, a petting zoo, skiing, and great hills for sledding in the winter. They also have a carousel and a train ride for kids during the summer. It's a good place to bring children to fly kites and run hills. There's plenty of space. Love it!

Cing park is one of the hidden gems in the City of Brampton! It is a mosh pit of acitivities for every age. There is a petting zoo, curling club, ski hill, skate park, paddle boating area - and some times festivals. Great things about the park is that is big and the random nature of things in the park keeps you on your toes. Bad thing it’s frustrating that everything is so random and that there was absolutely no thought put into the park. Verdict: if you live by it and have never been, check it out. If you’re driving by, keep driving.

Not all were open this time due to covid but the splash pad was our main reason for going and that was open along with the washroom so we were happy. Wasn't too busy during the weekday so we were able to play while social distancing. Can't wait for it to open up so we can enjoy the wading pool next time.

We live in Brampton for 38 years and we visit this beautiful park at least 3 to 4 times a year. We had friends visiting us from out of town this Civic holiday weekend, we had a couple of hours free, so we decided to tour the Chinguacousy Park. The park is clean with lots of open space for people to stroll and children to play. A beautiful newly added water splash pad with new washroom facilities. It is relaxing to walk around the pond or sit on the many benches to watch the ducks and ducklings swimming on the pond. We love the beautiful and colourful flowers in the garden, clean green lawn, the indoor botanical garden and the wedding chapel, it is so well kept and groomed. Lots of benches to sit down and relax, along the pond, children playground and the garden areas. For the families and kids, there is a petting zoo, carousel and kids playing area and lots of picnic tables. Lots of free parking space. We visited this beautiful park in the heart of Brampton with our parents, our children and now our grandchildren!

My son loves coming here in the summer. There are 2 nice playgrounds near the parking lot, one for older kids and another for younger kids. There's also a barn with sheep, horses, ostriches, alpacas that you can feed! During the summer there's also a carousel and a miniature train that goes around the park that kids can ride by purchasing tickets.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I've been coming here since the 80s as a kid and now I get to bring my own. It's so lovely to just get out of the house and look at the ducks. They also have a small farm and greenhouse (but I think these are closed right now) but there are a few animals outside. The water parks are so fun too. You can't have a better mid-morning stroll all for free. There's also mini-putt, pony rides, and there used to be special events now and again for small fees. And skiing and tobogganing in the winter of course. You can rent rooms for your own events too. An absolute gem in the community! Easily taken for granted.

We love this park and it's my favourite! We had grandparents, uncles, aunts and kids all ages go in the wading pool. There's splash pad, pony rides, petting zoo, train ride, a garden etc .. Planning to visit in the winter now to enjoy winter activities.

I love this park. It has seasonal changes (ice rink in the winter, splash pad in the summer) for some of its amenities, a farm where you can look at and feed a variety of animals (donkeys, chickens, rabbits, etc). The park is absolutely stunning in winter or the summer and is a favorite place of mine to go and read a book. There's also history here, with the names of our fallen soldiers inscribed on huge tablets. Canada day is awesome here as well. Did I mention there's huge open fields for sports and even a volleyball net set up? Overall ching park is a great place to go for family AND for solo adventurers.

My experience skating with my young boys at this facility was a good one. The ice surface is in good condition, especiallyduring the pandemic when the number of skaters was limited. I suggest a night skate to get the lighting effects and enjoyable experience! Your kids will also enjoy the playground either before or after. I know this because they completely exhausted themselves and passed out in my car. I recommend this place for a fun family outing!
