Fantastic 10 hole par 3 disc golf course with probably 80% shaded areas. Park at the bottom so you can start and finish in the right place. Its separated from the main park area and had way less people there than the main park.

Quiet beautiful park to do a BBQ with the famiky

Beautiful park, millions of trails and hidden spots. With wooden forest nymphs and sculptures hidden all over it . Get Lost exploring them. You'll get lost. Literally bring food and a compass. You could die.

Steep trails good for fantastic workout. Park with baseball field, disc golf course, tennis court, outdoor swimming pool and playground.

Great place to run the pups

A lovely spot for disc golf.

A very nice wilderness circuit about 2.5 km

Best park in Burnaby. West side trails are great for kids as well as dogs. We consider this park the hidden gem and walk in it weekly.

A good park. Lots of uphill and downhill paths amongst tall trees in mostly a shaded area. Great for dogs and a good workout. Only downside is close proximity to TC1...

Parking lots and small sections are closed due to filming (Wed Nov 17 through Fri Nov 19). There are some wide well-defined gravel paths, but there are many much more rugged and wild paths off the main trails. It's easy to get lost in here. It's great that it's not just another flat path, it has some steep uphill and downhill. Some trails are off leash for dogs. It's pretty wet/muddy here. Many of the smaller trails cross streams that are 3-4" deep.

Another awesome Burnaby City Park

Wish there was an shortcut to Burnaby lake, like a pedestrian bridge.

Wonderful place to enjoy the nature

Nice park. Some paths are not stroller friendly.

Huge trail system here. Could spend a whole day walking around. Lots of amenities, there's a pool, tennis courts, playground, baseball diamond and picnic tables. Great place for a family trip.

Beautiful park, big playground, nice walking area around the park

It was ok got out in the fresh air and got some excersise

(Translated) Quiet park (Original) 寧靜的公園

Beautiful trail park, lots of areas to explore. The trails wind and go up and down.. We took our 4 year olds there and they had no problem traversing the park, even on the off trails. Definitely worth the trip out there :)

Easy walking with occasional slopes to work out and toilet available.

We live in New Westminster where we were dealing with toxic smoke from a local fire at Pier Park in New West and fires ???? ???? ???? from California, Oregon and Washington. So, a 15 minute ride to this park and we were so excited to breathe fresh oxygen filled air

it is just ok, the off leased area is beautiful but you may see unexpected things there!

Beautiful, you can smell nature within the city! Love this place to have a nice walk. It also has a swimming pool, I didn’t take pictures of it.

Great Disc Golf Club, BDGC.

Best Disc Golf course around

Great trails for dog walks

Perfect place for hiking. Trails are not super smooth but in my opinion that's even better, gives you more feel of the nature as you can explore roots of the trees right under your feet.

A nice neighborhood park to walk, very nature, so some trails are not as easy to see; but some artist has built some great art pieces throughout the park, really cool to check them out

Liked it, nice scenery

This is one of my favorite parks in this area. It's quite discretely located so does not attract the kind of crowds some other parks do. And I really like the amount of amenities they have here. They have picnic benches, well maintained tennis courts, nice open lawn to play bocce or just picnic, outsoor pool (althought I've never used it), and nature trails (great for trail runners). The downfalls with this place are that it is close to the hwy so it can get loud when you get close to that end of the park. The park also tends to attract a lot of mosquitoes for some reason. In my opinion, the benefits outweighs the negatives. I would recommend this park for bbq's, for trail running, to play tennis at or to just go to a park that is relatively quiet and doesn't attract he same crowds as some other well known parks.

Awesome.

Very fun disc golf course

Lots of nice walking trails

Nice park. Green grass . quiet outdoor pool. Lots of trees and a good mountain view.

Wonderful, safe space to take the kids and relax with a coffee, no dogs off leashes, lots of room, have fun, me and my family found it was a great place to also picnic. Bless

Nice cozy place for a brisk hike in the neighborhood, very good option for an afternoon/evening hike.

Beautiful trails and tones of activities for the whole family

Great spot to get a couple of quick rounds of disc golf in. Took us about 30 minutes to do the whole course. getting there is pretty weird so I highly recommend using Google maps.

Great place for the family... awesome slopes for the improvised skier, snowboarder and sleighs.

Awesome park and walking trails. Wear appropriate footwear muddy area's.

Great!

Great place for jogging! Fresh air and very old and long trees are available inside the park. It looks like small jungle

I love this park. It really has it all! Tall grovws of trees, excellent tennis courts, a pool, Frisbee golf and beautiful trails.it also has a great playground.

(Translated) Excellent (Original) Excelente

Large park that makes you feel like you left the city and traveled to the great outdoors.

Very nice, tranquil, well organized. Sweaming pool is the best attraction in this park. Also there are 3 or 4 tennis courts and other amenities for all ages and interests. Could be very crowded on weekends and around holidays

A diverse park with disc golf, off leash dog area, forested canyon walk on easy trails & stairs, outdoor pool, tennis, and sledding when it snows.

Good

My new favourite park! Very serene and calming. Also has many trails to venture through.

Very cromulent park experience

Second grow forest in the city, lot of waking trails

Great off leash dog area

Criss crossed with paths across several streams. The map at the trail head and on Google maps does not even come close to doing justice to them. And there is a Frisbee golf course.

So magical!

A go-to location for gatherings for many years, this place never disappoints as there always seems to be parking and ample space to set up bbqs and the likes. There are enough paths to traverse yet they are close enough together that you can bushwack sometimes. Be warned, there are wasp nests in certain patches of the park so don't bushwack too much!

Great hidden park

OMG I have to go back and see the art

At the pool super hot temp not great for lap swimming great for kids public swim

Park, forest, woodland, what should I call it? I think it is everything. Whatever suits you. What you find here PEACE ☮️ and your own self. Have you ever lost? Sometimes we need to get lost to find our own self. It’s a nice place to do that ???? What else there is : Do you love sports, swimming, everything is here. I know you love your dog and want to spend sometime out with him take him there. You can go for a walk with friends or family there it’s so peaceful there. I love watching birds but there’s not many and I am writing it in January so I am nit sure if they come in different months. I find thrushes but I lost them soon it’s a shady walk throughout even the sun is shining bright. Intense nature everywhere maybe you can feel sometimes that you’re standing in Amazon if you feel don’t forget to take a selfie there, have fun. Enjoy the nature. Beautiful streams and sone art by an unknown artist he/she/ they are making some pretty figures there. I have posted one. If you sad, lonely, feeling low then go there and recharge yourself with a new energy.

(Translated) The landscape of the small park trails is pristine and a bit inspiring, and worth visiting again (Original) 小小的公園步道景觀原始,有點意猶未盡,,,值得再訪

Great urban getaway with lots of fabulous trails, open areas, a pool, frisbee "poles" and not a lot of people. Quiet and a good work out. What more do you need in a park that is close to an urban area?

My kids visit here every 2 days

Nice clean park with lots of shady trees and tables.

Alot of hills.

(Translated) Just for a little ballad it's good (Original) Juste pour une petite ballade c'est bien

I just moved into the neighborhood and I have really enjoyed the nature being so close. It's a beautiful clean park. So far we have only met friendly people at the playground as well

A few different trails for every purposes!!!

Huge park with a dog park and offleash trails ,be careful ,only some of the trails are offleash and enforcement is strict .there is also a frisbee golf course ,as well as tennis courts and an outdoor pool ,and also a kids playground and sports fields.

Great place for the family

Wood Sculptures now gone unfortunately

Beatiful place

This park is very big, with nice hilly pathways, streams, dog park, disk golf, tennis, a playground...the perfect Park!

Nice Trails for hiking but it is not suitable for stroller

It's huge park has tennis courts, lot of parking and washroom. This park also has many trails.

Nice park facility, good place to walk a dog

Awesome park to play frizby golf

Excellent park with lots of open areas, canopy-covered trails and ample parking.

Went here as a child it's a awesome pool went to see what the schedule was like have to look online under city of Burnaby they said. It's got a toddler pool and then a big pool on other side that's also has diving boards.

Good place for family

Beautiful open setting for nature walks Well maintained ball park Outdoor swimming pool Updated play park for young children Dog park Forest trails

Nice park, not too crowded. Great for family picnics. Tennis and pickleball courts. Swimming pool, but wasn't open when I went.

Fairly small park, outdoor swimming pool looks to be disused.

This park has a wide combination of outdoor activities. There are many hiking trails and picnic areas in a quiet and tranquil environment. Although it has slightly less sports activities to offer than some of the other parks, it is a beautiful place to visit. The area is surrounded by forested creek ravines and other beautiful pieces of nature. You can explore the trails alone or with company. Either way the natural habitat provides a relaxing experience. Near the center of the park, there are some sports activities available. The park includes a baseball diamond, playground, Tennis Courts, and an outdoor swimming pool. These activities make it a great park to bring the kids and release some energy. Finally, Robert Burnaby Park also has an off-leash dog area. The trail that allows off-leash dogs is between other trails seen in the park. All the trails incorporate trees and greenery, making it the perfect area for dogs to explore.

A hidden treasure in Burnaby, BC

Very nice and calm place. I wouldn't go there alone though otherwise it will seem creepy.

Best quiet place during the day to reconnect with Mother Nature.

Nice enough and generally quiet, but the maintained trails can be a challenge (steep in places) for those who are out of shape and the drone of the not so distant highway can be a distraction.

Great outdoor pool

Lots of creativity here!

Considering the park is flanked by a busy main artery through Burnaby, and the Trans Canada Hwy....it is surprisingly quiet and serene! Lots of winding trails and a definite wilderness feel. Plus, dogs are permitted off leash! Highly recommend the park to any dog owner or person looking for a quick escape to nature, without leaving town. It's also easily accessible from bus routes.

You get to watch baseball, or nature walk all through the many trails this park also has a swimming pool, tennis courts, and many other things to do there! Picnic places too!

We love this park. It's quiet, somehow feels private and is steps away from trails and the swimming pool. Roberts Park is one of the best we got in S/E Burnaby. It has forest trails, where you can enjoy the nature. The most I love, are the lotuses area and the creeks. There are so many huge fallen trees that add to its magnificent view. A place where you can walk with your children, pets, or with your loved one and still a kiss. It has public areas for picnic, playground and leisure like tennis, swimming pool. We love going to Roberts for snowsliding. I also use this place for training. Best for walks, cardio, uphill/downhill. It's also best for tanning, as it has semi-private and secluded areas. In the same time, its steps away from residences and it has the Highway 1 as the North boundary.

Recently discovered this Burnaby gem. Lots of cool trails and a great place to go for a walk/jog/exploration

Good park for a walk

Great park with a fun Disc Golf Course.

Great place to walk with a few trails. Only downfall is the you can hear a lot of cars on Highway 1.

Secret gem of Burnaby. Less visited park is a better park.

You can even sleep there in day time

Used to spend alot of time here back in the day. Great park!

This was a great little spot. We had a nice picnic here.

Nice!

Even on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in August we met very few people while walking the west side trails by the creek. A very enjoyable outing.

Walking, playground, BBQ , out door pool opens in the summer, nice place in the city

Nice park for family walk

Nice park lots of things to do. Fun for all family. Pool, slides, tennis courts and big picnic area

One of Burnaby's best kept secret pools for sure. Excellent pool, staff and facilities.

Wandered around the park. Discovered well maintained gravel paths on steep terrain through thick woods. Sunny fields, a pool, tennis courts, a public washroom open till dusk, and an excellent softball diamond which gets a lot of use in the summer.

Wow really neat wood art & the dog loved it Great

Kaikai and his friends had a great time here.

A good place to get turtled

Great place to hike

Good place to picnic

An awesome park with trails, great playground, outdoor pool and Frisbee golf.

A strange little chunk of woodland worth exploring. Especially since someone's liberally dotted it with unusual creatures...

Beautiful trees, gorgeous area

Wonderful park to bring your dog. The park seems to go on forever and has a lot of nooks and crannies to explore. It reminds me of a fairy woodland. It's also got streams for your dog to drink out of. Unfortunately, no where to for your dog to swim. The park is great even if you don't have a dog. Lots of park for safe distance picnics.

Tranquil place with pool&nice paths!

Nice & quiet

Good place for family gathering

Nice park, lots of trails, bigger than we expected. Quite hilly so some good uphill walks.

Snow in Vancouver. Had to walk in the park! Very beautiful, and of course, very slippery. RB is well known for being super hilly and those trails can be challenging in the rain and mud. Imagine wet snow! Worth it though. All those old growth trees and ferns blanketed in new fallen snow. Beautiful. And this time, I didn’t get lost. Much.

Good to go for a walk if you live in burnaby

Good for a dog walk, on the off leash traiils. Some of the trails can be pretty muddy. The highway is always audible. I saw a mermaid.

Great park , trails and lots too do

A hidden gem in Burnaby. Short trails are relaxing walk with family if you don't mind hills.

Wonderful place with fun sculptures to seek and find on the trails

Great addition to the park, lots of people out that wouldn't usually

Small park for tracking, but you can enjoy there. And have many courts for practice sport, outdoor pool, playground for kids and good space for your dog.

This is a great park for hiking and going for a nice stroll. The slope back up to 4th is an awesome climb.

Clean park. Good for family events.

Nice local park that has swimming pool, picnic tables, tennis court.

It's great for weddings.

Great 9 hole disc golf course, lost a disc here tho lol

The sound of birds in the dense forest, the sound of water, relaxes my mind, and I can take off my mask for a while, so I think I'll go often

The park hasn't changed much from when I was a child.

Great park, there's an outdoor pool and kids playground and a nice little trail hike.

Used to be a great place to walk your dog.. now overrun by people taking pictures of stick sculptures

This park has everything. Really enjoy walking the dog here. Watch out for bears though!

Nice park with baseball field and disc golf course.

Lots of shade

Nice wide trails in a dense forest. Beautiful

A big, forest park with great walking trails and an off-leash dog area. Lots of amenities: excellent baseball diamond, frisbee golf course, tennis courts, and great benches for taking a break on this steep terrain. When we found out that a …

Beautiful forest in the city... And the natural sculptures were mystical. Lovely walk.

So good to hangout with friends and dogs. Parking is available and trails are not hard. Little bit chilling but getting warmer after walking~

Nice little out of the way park, great for kids 2-5. Also has tennis courts and nice big fields.

The only reason I gave it a 4 stars is because someone was murdered and dumped here. Not sure if you believe ghost and stuff. Also a show that's directed by Spielberg also shot here, and someone died because of a sliding vehicle. So um, yeah people die. Aside from that, awesome view, pool and stuff. Close to the hwy, so it's not as quiet during peak hours.

I love this park. I take my dog here a lot. It has a great interernal trail system that feels like your deep in the woods. Disc golf, big parks, cool little streams.

Beautiful, fun, hgreat trails & a variety of them have a specific route my aunt & I take, apx 45minutez of a hike. One big lap, starts & ends @ the the pa parking lot, just perfect! Not too busy although they film sometimes in there. Perfect off-leash dog park, live the creeks, so beautiful especially if it's been raining. More rushing waters and most times have perfect crossing stones or trees. The different paths are many and take you to all different corners of the park. It's the perfect size, have fun making your own personalized route to call your own! Definitely come here!

Awesome Nature view

Great place for you.

Beautiful park in Burnaby! Feels like your in the woods and secluded.

Expect to get lost. A maze of trails, with few landmarks, and hilly low visibility terrain make this a wonderful place to spend the afternoon getting lost in the forest. Give yourself an extra 15 - 30 minutes to find your way back to where you started. Don't let this put you off visiting this beautiful park. It's really beautiful and a lovely place to take the dogs. Please be careful though as this is a salmon spawning stream and dogs in the water can be catastrophic for salmon stocks!

Such a beautiful park.

Nicely kept park good for birthday parties

Paradise By The Dashboard Lights

(Translated) The trekking course is enough to experience a short hike. Not too crowded park, washroom are clean and they have really good parking. 3 tennis court and a pool near by, childrens play ground is also available, clean park!

Great space, lots of amenities and km. Only complaint is off leashed dogs everywhere.

The trails are good for cooling off on a hot summer day

Beautiful place

Absolutely love this park. Great trails, disc golf playground and there is also a pool. There is also mythical stick creatures hidden, great way to spend the day going on a hunt for these treasures.

Good for snow ride.

Nice trails and a serene babbling brook nestled in an urban environment. This is really part of the same forrest and stream as Burnaby Lake Park, but these two are bisected by the Trans Canada Highway, and there's no pedestrian bridge to …

Great place for the kids. A lot space for them, and play wherever they want!

Well kept. Lots of big trees. A very nice course for the feel of being in a forest. There is a din of road noise from the number one highway which isn't too bad. Every time I have played the the course I have received at least ten mosquito bites.

Disc golf!

This is a great park, especially for the dog.

Beautiful , lush, swimming pool. Lots of trails and gorgeous green grass. Theirs a childrens playground area and a tennis court. Plenty of parking. Peaceful place to get away within the city.

We had lived here for years and never knew about it until our son's school took them here for swimming lessons. This is a park that pretty much has everything! Cool trails, a ravine, an outdoor pool, a big picnic area, and a playground for the kiddies that don't want to swim. Just beware of bears from time to time.

Good place for kids.

Great park with lots to do - shaded walking trails, playground, tennis courts and disc golf. Occasionally you'll be able to fine original sculptures made from natural materials by a local artist. …

Clean and quiet place for a walk and with lots of trees and it has small and tiny rivers and it's good place to read book or so ur studies but make sure to keep it clean and neat and don't through garbage or waste without bin and Caution bear sighted sign are there too

Very nice park, great hiking trails and a nice picnic area with kids playgrounds. Usually is not a crowded place.

Good option to run and relax !

Awesome place to bring my family

Clean, good paths and lots to explore.

Nice trails with some elevation change. Great for walking the dog!

Great local spot for short hikes and tobogganing. There's annoutdoor pool.as well.bit haven't been in the summer so can't comment on that

Good hiking and decent paths.

Awesome place to go for a family walk with the little ones

Considering the size of the park, it doesn't seem to be well known as a nice place to go for a walk or just hang out for an afternoon. The paths are really nice; they go all through the park from each end up till near the highway. There's the poles with chains for disc golf, and an off-leash area for dogs. At the edge of the park there's a swimming pool and open field on a hill which is great for picnics by the playground.

Great place for a night swim

It was ight

Large and quiet with lovely trails, not too busy but popular with the movie industry. A public swimming pool is at the south end.

Came here to play disc golf. This is a 10 hole course, built on a hill. I really enjoyed the course. Most holes are short. but a couple near the end of the course were more challenging. I would say this is a Beginner/Intermediate course. if you go out of bounds in some areas it could be hard to find a disc. I would play this course again for sure.

Super quite. Lots of space.

Nice park with lots of trees, disc golf course is a good mix of challenges.

Absolute gem in the middle of the city.

Great walking, some path are little challenging. For kids I would say +6

It’s a well know secret now that there are mythical creatures hidden in the Robert Burnaby Park. An artis placed these sculptures after COVID outbreaks in 2020. …

Nice experience, would have been great to see some indications of sculptures' location

Nice place for a short walk.

Trails include stairs, hills, bridges and some gravel patches. There is an off leash dog area, playground, pool and tennis courts. Nice trails. Leashed dogs allowed.

Just fond memories of this place

Lovely network of trails.

Nice place for a walk in the middle of the city.

Great place for outdoor hikes. Went looking Geocash found lots!

So many great trails to follow. Dogs paradise whimsical creatures and figures scattered throughout the park. You just have to find them.

Nice park lots of trails .. the have a nice creek . Kids really enjoyed playing we went off path so it was nice to find cool spots along river to relax.

A quiet out of the way park that is dog friendly.

No rush, not so many people around, near to nature

Good disc golf course and great trails.

Good hiking trails for young kids families

Huge park with trails, perfect for hiking or just casual walks and a lot of space to park

It was fun especially going sledding when it snows

Pacific North Coast rainforest with off-leash dog park, Frisbee golf park, dinosaur rock and a beautiful lush forest with streams and creeks throughout.

I was very surprised at how beautiful the park was.

It's beautiful and magical Park

Nice

Beautiful park!

Nice place

Lots of trees for shade while doing a short hike. Multiple paths for your choice of gravel path or steeper forest path.

Fantastic accessible park with great trails in the middle of metro Vancouver.

Great hidden park in the city

Very nice hidden park

Beautiful

Wonderful park to walk the dogs and let them play

Snoww

I think the best parking is off 4th near the baseball field. The address on Wedgewood isn't good. You have to go down Hill Ave to park near the pool.

There's playground ,washroom, tennis court and more...

lovely park

A pretty park, the stream running by the trail is really nice

Nice park with good size playground and a sand box. Also lots of fun sledging down the slope on a snow day

Very pretty park with big trees and steep, wide gravel trails. Not great for biking.

Luscious forestry for a small park with water streaming down hill and whimsical vine sculptures.

Good place for kids and nice trail.

Great park. But you better be safe with in the wild

A great urban hike area & dog park

Nice park to unwinf

Great local park for kids

Great place to spend the day with your family

An amazing place to hike and walk, paths to follow or take a trail over creeks and trees. Off leash dog areas as well for your furry friends to play. A gorgeous natural beauty for all to enjoy!

Nice place for kids

One if the best bball fields in the lower mainland.. a gem!

Great baseball diamond

Nice outdoor pool in summer, small park for kids and walking dogs!

Great little hidden Frisbee Golf Course with a beautiful creek and shady trees. Really enjoy the walk around the park.

Good area for off roading on a hike. Friendly dogs, but surprisingly unfriendly people. Loved the sculptures in the woods. Slippery when muddy so be cautious where you step.

Its a beautiful mini forest in the city with great highs and slopes to hike on with your family. The main motivation is to find the mythical creatures created by the wonderful artist using twigs and twines. This time we could find 3 in our 1.5 hr hiking without using the map for finding creatures. We will go next time for sure in search for more!

Nice trails lots of shade

Fantastic creatures in the woods right now! The paths are very muddy with all the rain we've had. At one point we had to cross a small creek. These paths should be a little more user-friendly and also to protect the forest.

Awesome . Very large lots of trails kinda like a maze. Wished there was a trail map posted. Great addition to have mythical creatures! Wear boots though as the creatures are off main path

A peaceful place

Grway for waking and pool

It is a very natural and big park. The air is so fresh. There are lots of old and tall cedars. Every year some film companies make films there. In summer it is a good place for BBQ.

No trail markers, confusing

Just a nice park

Excellent place to bring your dog for a short hike or to just let fido out to explore!!

Nice forest

It's a way to get nature in the city. nice Walking paths. Off leash dog area.

Good

The grass was soggy and wet, probably due to the copious amounts of precipitation....which means rain

Great place to go for an afternoon walk. Near enough to the city that you're not isolated, but far enough that you're in nature. :)

Great park nice little playground lots of green space

Always amazing!

Nice park. A bit noisy by the highway though and the trail system is a bit confusing to navigate. It is also on a hill so everything is either uphill or downhill as you are walking.

Disc golf course is connected to a side road that you have to follow, has a "No Exit" sign. Google Maps thinks it's technically highway, don't trust the directions it gives

This is a special park, quiet with all kinds of paths. When entering It reminds me of Lyn Valley, very tall spruce trees, stream running. Great dog park too. I'll be going again for certain.

(Translated) Healing in quiet and secluded places (Original) 조용하고 한적한 곳에서 힐링을 하고 있습니다

So serene and a perfect escape into the beauty of BC

Bit in shade and out of the way

Beautiful

Good place to have long walks

Great walking trails. Good hills , bridges over streams. You could be in the park for hours.

Beautiful part of Burnaby to get out and enjoy nature

Fresh air and fall leaves forest quite wonderful

No signs in the trail area with lots of forks. Even Goggle Map can't help as the reception are poor. The map that shows where the dog off-leash area is unclear as well. I don't even know that I was already in the off-leash area until leaving the area and see the back of the sign showing "entering the off-leash area"

Great park for walks.

Best park nearby

Quiet, with lots of hilly trails. Beautiful views over the ravine.

Very peaceful with trees of hundred of years old and creeks as salmon and wild fish habitat. Tennis court, baseball court and disc golf course.

Great Park with lots of off leash areas for dogs. Not too busy either. Only downside is its rather muddy unless it's been dry weather for a while.

Trees

I love this park. It's huge oasis of forests, streams and trails in the middle of the city. I live a couple of blocks away from the park and it's my "go to" place where I take my dog for a peaceful walk and to quickly recharge my batteries …

Was there to pave the pool parking lot.

Nice cool place to visit in the hot weather

Beautiful park full of winding trails and river views. They have bathrooms, tennis courts, a playground, and bumble bee homes! The only thing I would change is making the off-leash dog area a fenced enclosure with garbage cans.
