You will be able to see all the information of real people who are buying the products and services of Applebarn Pumpkin Farm (Taves Farms) (Zoo) in the territory of Burnaby (Canada).
To this day this firm gets a rating of 4.4 stars over 5 and that rating is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is really good, and it's based on a very large number of reviews, so we can conclude that the score is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are pleased with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo is classified in the category of Farm.
Very fun family experience with helpful staff and organized attractions. Offering quite the variety of food and treats at their in house store.
How could you not love baby goats!
Very fun place to go and buy apple and also kids play. Very pretty place and people friendly!
It is a beautiful large farm. Each has different responses to the work. But its worth .
This place has it all. Petting zoo, pumpkin patch and hay ride, playground, bouncy platform, orchard...etc. Kids had so much fun, was worth the trip!
Lots of activities however very crowded
Great place for a fun afternoon!
Absolutely fantastic, so much fun with a great crew!
Its a lot of fun
Love it here, such a great place to go with family or friends, I order an apple cider slushie every time I visit ♡
Great Family fun! I'm never disappointed. The staff is super friendly. The cost is great and there's a bunch of stuff for the kids!
Wonderful place to visit! Animals, Apples, Pumpkins, Cider, Sunflowers, Hayrides, Jumping Pillow - and so much more! We've hand painted signs for this Farm over the years - and watched them evolve - So friendly & fun!... We highly recommend you bring your friends & family to visit!
Great farm to visit. We go there for apple u-pick every year.
Nice place to social distance & get pumpkins/delicious apple cider I wish they had more goats to feed and play with
it a nice outdoor for family and friend to enjoy the day on the field
Lots of Thanksgiving fun for the kids with a pumpkin patch, pony rides, petting farm and play areas
Our family with kids 5-13 all had a wonderful time at AppleBarn for our pumpkin hunt! There were things for all of us to enjoy special family time together. The staff were particularly warm and friendly and we all loved the apple cider slurpees! Looking forward to discovering what they will have in store for Christmas!
Really nice setup, great experience for families, and their apple cider tastes great!
Cute, small, fun for the kidlets.
Love supporting this local farm, a favourite place for all ages: the Farmville, the Corn Maze, the Pumpkin Path, the Hayride, the Petting Zoo. The admission on Wicked Wednesday is cheaper. Highly recommend the apple cider. ????????????????????
Love this farm, there is so much to do and the staff are all so friendly. My fiance and I had a great time taking our 2 1/2 year old here, he had a blast. We bought their sparkling apple cider and it was amazing
Lots of fun. Keeps kids busy for the day. Limited food/drink options on weekdays.
Friendly staff. We went there u-pick goji berries and the berries are very well looked after! For the u-pick, they require people to buy their baskets to pick with.
We go here every year, kids kove it.
A fun and enjoyable experience there, I feel like there apple slushies get better every year!
Great place for all ages! Always enjoy the apple picking and the apple cider
Nice place to take the kids.
Kids had so much fun
Was done well. Lots of sanitize stations. Friendly staff. Slide needs an upgrade... holes that fingers could get stuck in.. and somewhere there cut themselves on a nail or something sticking out.
Tons of fun, will be back next year!
Was really fun and the apples were great!
Terrific place for a fan ly getaway.
Try to find an apple cider better than this. Don't bother, you won't. Also their apple cider slushies are amazing. I actually died when I first tried it. SO GOOD! (Don't get it on a cold day though haha!) Love everything about this place. Can't wait to go again this year!
Best family outing experience. Loved the pumpkin canon and the maze!
This was the first year that our family went to Applebarn Pumpkin Farm ???? We enjoyed the hay ride, Saee Ing the animals, tearing tasty food and bringing home a pumpkin. We look forward to going back again next year!
Visited here for Easter. Our 2 year old loved to tractor ride and egg hunt. They also had two separate bounce areas that he enjoyed. The playground was also a hit. It's important to note that the parking here was atrocious. There were no staff directing vehicles, as such cars were double parked and blocking entrances. The parking delay caused us to miss our scheduled time, but staff simply added us to the next time slot. Overall it was a really fun event, but I would definitely leave early to find parking.
We had such a fun time here. Was awesome. Will absolutely go back. Was hoping for more produce, but what we did get was delish.
nice place! apple picking, petting zoo, play ground ~ but washroom is uncomfortable!!!
So much to do there with the kids. Staff is awesome. Prices are reasonable.
This is one of the best attractions I have ever visited for the price. It just goes on and on with fun activities. Considering how much work and planning has gone into the operation, the prices are very reasonable. The snacks were well prepared and inexpensively priced at $2.50 for a good sized hot dog and $3.50 for a large ear of roasted corn. Picnics are welcome if you prefer to eat your own food. We took our 3-year-old grandson today and stayed nearly three hours. I don't think I have ever seen so many happy people in one place. I didn't notice a single child (or adult) crying or making trouble. Congratulations and thank you for creating a wonderful community attraction.
Well organized, lots of friendly staff, amazing kids activities and lots of produce to find straight from the source. Multiple varieties of apples, pumpkins, a corn maze that's super tall, pears and more! Plus wheel barrows for large pumpkins. Perfect for the Halloween enthusiast. ????
Went here to pick goji berries. Lots of trees to pick from and a pleasant walk among the different groves. Cute goats and other animals. Not very busy so it was a very leisurely visit that didn't feel cramped with too many people. Staff was friendly.
My family had a blast at the farm. We picked the jonagold apples, which were very reasonable priced and absolutely delicious (never tried that variety before now). Although it wasn't our original plan, on seeing kids jumping on the jumping pillow (giant inflatable), we decided to attend the other attractions and had a blast. Our 5 year old loved the corn maze, hay rides, and petting barn. We made a day of it for about $25 admission for the three of us, so not bad. Would recommend.
Loved this place! I’d say go in for free and then do your own apple picking. I didn’t want to go on the hay ride & other stuff they offer that is paid. So take your pick. Overall great, minus how crowded it was.
Epic spot for kids, our 3yr old loved the farm animals, slides and pumpkin patch!
Excellent place have a great time with your family and little one. Loved the Apple slush
Great cider and the goats are sweet
Great place for children
I was very disappointed when I was asked to pay for almost everything there including a jumping bed and a mess corn field. Never back there again
Love it!! Picking apples then seeing all the animals was great!!
Came here for their cider tasting so can't speak to the rest of the farm. The tasting room is quite small so they can't serve very many at a time. But once you order your drinks they ask you to go to an open backyard area where they have tents and picnic benches which was nice. Experience was good overall. Just a note that the farm tends to attract large crowds. We were here when it was raining lightly and it was still pretty busy.
The farm boasts a variety of crops. During the fall, they have a lovely pumpkin festival with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, orchard, petting area with goats, hay rides, country store with fresh produce and preserves for sale, and festive treats.
What a wonderful gem!! The goats so cute????! Went for an evening sip & paint! Would definitely go back❤
Very fun experience going through the pumpkin patch, corn mazes and using the pumpkin Canon. Awesome Pumpkin Farm.
It was really nice ... There only select parking lots opens ...just follow the signs ... All size pumpkins prizes between $6 - $15 ... They all.kinds of apples pears corns for u-pick. The store has apple cidars and other fresh products
So much to do here for the kids......adults also.
Nice place
A lovely, family friendly autumn activity. U-Pick with a large variety of Apples and Pumpkins as far as the eye can see! I've never been apple picking before and this was a wonderful spot for making my first time count.
Ok but dang why the price go up so much
Staff are rude. Not very friendly at all. First interaction was like they didn't care if I was there or not.
Was really fun, I loved it. The best part about it was that it was Family, and Concussion friendly. I would totally recommend this experience.
A great experience for adults and children! Their apple cider is delicious!
I had a great time at the farm. I was there in the fall for apple season. Unfortunately there weren't many good apples to pick at the farm, but I still had a fun time seeing the farm animals and shooting the corn cannon.
Nice little pumpkin patch experience, minus 1 star for the concession stand, they make you line up to pay, then you need to line up again to give your receipt to the lady making the food, then you need to line up again to give your ticket to the guy cooking the corn, and minus another star for the hay ride, would have been much better if there was an usher with a microphone speaking about the farmland we were passing by
$26 for 10 lbs of apples is considerable over charge- guess we are paying for the fancy things like the bouncy mat and corn maze. Well staffed, with plenty of amenities, but also jam packed with people. Expect friendly staff, but long lines, high prices and extra charges.
a fun place to go....pumpkins are a good price...quite touristy...but probably a good once a year thing to do if you're local and have littles or middles...
Love the place, it’s a great to hang out with the kids n families. We picked the apples, they are so sweet n juicy. Bought the apple juice, it’s refreshing.

Love this place its a great spot for the whole family. Moms and dads can enjoy a well made Crisp adult Cider. The Atmosphere is very pleasant The kids adore the petting zoo.
Been here 4 or 5 times they always have enough apples to pick.
The parking was a pain but an honest effort was made to mitigate those issues. The clientele at this location was a little ruff; double parking, blocking others in, parking in non-designated areas and stealing wheal-barrels... Other than that, a great fall venue.
Fun place love the fresh apple cider
What a delightful place! The apple orchard brings back strong memories of picking apples while growing up, and the pumpkin choices are second to none. The apple cider is not to be missed, and the "troll bridge" is adorable.
Really great range of activities - the petting zoo was a lot bigger than other farms I've been to, and the corn maze had three "stages" that got progressively harder. We ran into a group of women in the final stage who were completely lost! The apple cider is delicious and the prices were really reasonable for the cider and for the apple/pumpkin picking. Downsides: The hay ride was really bad, the wagon is totally covered so you can't see anything while you drive, I felt like I was just in a car. We went on a Sunday and the crowds were intense.
Whole family had a great time! Lots of people but good space to walk around. Entrance, concessions, and pumpkin pricing was very reasonable.
What started out as a frustrating miscommunication between my large family and the farm was turned around so simply & empathetically! I am very impressed with the service of the staff and management. They are doing a great job keeping people safe and also making sure everyone has fun. My family had a great time. It was my first time at the farm and I will be back! This year for more cider, at least!
Such a fun place to take my daughter for her first pumpkin patch experience.
This place was fun. My kid had a lot of fun and the apples where grrrrreat.
It was very crowded but the grandkids had lots of fun. We managed a photo shoot in the orchard
My girlfriend says it's the, "Happiest Place on Earth!" So much to do and see and taste!
Love this place and all they offer! My kids love it there and this year I brought my parents and they loved it too! The petting zoo is great, jumping pillows, hay rides, maze, playground, zipline, and slides - kids won’t be bored! I suggest that you come early and spend half a day in there, bring your food or buy some at the farm, as there is plenty of tables. Apples are not cheap, but tasty. Apple cider is very very good! I’m glad I found this place. Well worth the 1 hour drive!
First time visiting the corn maze and pumpkin patch and we expected it to be fairly empty because of the time of the visit so there were lowered expectations there. Overall, a great experience. The only strong complaint we had was the upkeep on some of the animal areas. It smelled TERRIBLE.
I will say that it’s a nice family place, however the prices left us feeling ripped off. Just to get in and enjoy the activities for our family of 4 was $62. And if you wanted to do many of the other things there were extra costs. Also after paying we found out that several of the activity that should have been include were closed. We did the corn maze which started out fun but after being lost in it for a long time we got hot, tired and frustrated and gave up. We came back out the entrance and asked a staff member if there was even an exit to the maze and he didn’t even know. He asked a supervisor who said no, it’s just a loop. You exit the same way you go in. That explained it! So basically you wander the maze with no satisfaction of completing it and just leave the way you come in when you’ve had enough. Despite the corn maze that you can’t win and the fact that it’s over priced, our kids did have fun on the pedal karts and we did enjoy feeding and petting the cute goats.
We arrived around 2pm and there are only 10 ppl ahead of us but it still took us more than 30 mins to get in because there is only 1 cashier. I wish we can purchase admission ticket online and save the hassle. Lots of stuff to do but so little time since they are closing at 6:30pm.
We had always went to the nearest family farm and we didn't realize we definitely were missing out.. we definitely will be back and we look forward to exploring the rest of the farm.
Love this place, so much to do, see and buy...
Beautiful pumpkin patch, with pumpkins of all different shapes, sizes and colors. Somewhat pricey for the full farm experience, but the kids appeared to be having fun.
Good place to pick apples off the tree
Had a wonderful visit to the farm! Explored the corn maze which is really well laid out. Seems to go on forever! Tried some cider - delicious! Bought apples, cider, apple chips and apple butter to take home. Love it and will definitely be back again for more apples.
Went with my family and we had the best time. Our favourite was the goats and of course the U-Pick apples. A great way to have carefree fun with the whole family.
Awesome good farm dont forget your rain boots
Great place for uptick apples
Our go-to place for pumpkin picking. Recently, they started doing easter egg hunts which is awesome. They have lots of parking but it can still be a problem if you arrive late. Lots of things to do for the kids on the farm like play area, petting zoo, tractor rides, and fruit picking. Oh, and their apple cider is really good!
Fun times, I like goats. I don't like cider, 5 stars if you get beer.
The activities are great and the prices seem reasonable. My only concern is some of the logistics regarding vendors. The purchase process (store, tickets, food) was a bit slow and disorganized. The food itself was good, but ordering at the java hut and then picking up at both that location and at the kitchen building was chaotic and confusing, especially when the large menu is posted at the pick-up window rather than the order window. I'd definitely go back, but hopefully those logistics can be improved.
Awesome fun place to take your dog and family for a great day out! I really love this place, it's truly a hidden gem in Abbotsford BC. We picked our own crunchy apples from 5 different varieties and bought delicious alcohol free cider for a great price! This is a must see for anyone who is visiting or local! Thanks so much ????
Was a really fun pumpkin patch to visit! I will say though it felt very squished everyone was walking on everyone but there was a lot of fun things for kids and adults to enjoy! Next year I'll be going a little later in the day so I can enjoy the food truck...hopefully next year they will have a better line up system so it doesn't take 20 minutes to get a coffee. All in all awesome place and definitely will go again
Very nice farm. Good for bringing the little ones
There's a petting zoo! Yes! well let's get back to the farm. Although slightly at the higher end of prices, their apples are amazing (pick your own or get those ready picked). there are plums, and many other fruits you can get. Apple slush is everyone's favorite and a gallon of cider is $15.
Was a great farm. We loved the apple picking. The pumpkin picking was a bit of a flop there wasn't many good ones left in the field. Than when you get back you have to wait in a long line to weigh and pay for your pumpkin. Over all we still enjoyed the farm and the animals.
Great apples! Will go back again.
Friendly atmosphere.. cool features like the 2 large jumping canvasses, pedal carts, and petting zoo. Would be nice if there were a few more animals to see but overall good experience for what the entry fee was.
A nice farm but a total gong show with people on a Sat. Way too many people and many people not wearing masks. In many areas crowds were thick and social distancing was not being monitored or possible. Expensive pricing.
Great fun for the family with Apple picking options.
Best apple cider and the apple picking is so fun!! Can't wait to return for u-pick goji berries!
Went for a company barbecue: lots of fun for the family. Not a place to shop for produce: just overpriced apples and pumpkins.
Been there for continuous 5 years....a must go in summer
Been there for continuous 5 years....a must go in summer
What a place to spend time with friends and family. Love it.
We loved it, three kids had a blast
Always a good time with the family at the apple barn. Lots of fun activities for the kids plus Great quality apples & produce.
It was my first time here but my wife and daughter had been before
Love their apple cider. Our go to place to during fall and to pick up pumpkin for Halloween and pets some animals
Had an enjoyable and fun afternoon here with my nephews.
Lots of fun, great atmosphere and safe for kids!
So nice! I love that there are plenty of people working there, so there is always help if needed. Lots of activities for kids to do. Easily spend 2-3 hours exploring for everyone. Highly recommended the apple cider. An unbelievably fresh apple juice. No added preservatives sugars, so it's really worth it! Unpaved areas, so would not recommend for wheelchairs when it's raining (ground gets mushy and muddy)
A great day to spend a half day with the kids.
When we went to the farm that is supposed to be family oriented, there was no ramp to push our daughter's stroller up. They did have one, but it had a locked gate on it so we couldn't use it. Thankfully my husband and our friend were able to carry the stroller up a bunch of stairs to get to the farm area. We also had to carry the stroller back down the stairs as well as our many large pumpkins once we were leaving. Also we noticed other families with young kids having a hard time carrying strollers and large pumpkins up and down the stairs. EXTREMELY inconvenient for anyone with strollers, wheelchairs, or buying large pumpkins
Picking apples at Taves Family Farm has become somewhat of an annual tradition. There's nothing quite like that fresh crunch, and their apple cider is delicious. They really put an emphasis on family by having a petting zoo and tractor rides for the kids. It's a refreshing experience.
Good fun for the family. We've been here a few times and it's been a great time for our daughter. Pick some apples, try the petting zoo, jump on the giant bouncy pillow. There's also a pumpkin cannon.
Awesome place to visit during Halloween season. Apple products are really good especially their Apple Cider. Tons of fun activities for kids and kids-alike. Parking can be a little challenging as the weekends tend to get really busy. Nonetheless, it's a must-see on Halloween.
If you've never been here its amazing so much stuff to see and do for all ages, i genuinely loved it an will go every year from now on its worth the 45 min drive. we went on the 1st sunday of oct 2020 an oh my god i fell in love with multiple animals and cute girls. social distance they tryed there best but wow so many people. We parked at the school at the corner because there was no parking the place was absolutely packed with people if i come outa here with out covid ill be surprised lol but from kids to instagram photo shoots this place has everything for everyone!!!!
Great for the Halloween season. Lots of pumpkins to pick in the patch or just for sale. You can also go apple picking during the season. The cider is the best, a must have if you go.
Great place to take the kids! Lots to do and see and taste and feel. Not cheap but nice to have fun in a natural environment and teach kids about animals etc.
Had a lot of fun here today with my boyfriend. We felt very safe as people around us were wearing mask. People were conscious about covid safety protocols and staffs were also doing their part. The pumkin patch, corn maze and farm activities were all well done.
We've been coming to Applebarn in the fall almost every year, for about 8 years now. While it does offer fun activities, the place has become extremely commercialized over time. Nearly everything costs extra, in addition to the entrance fee, the U-pick apples are hard to find and the prices are rising very rapidly. That being said, there is still the big rubber dome to jump on, the petting zoo with rabbits and goats and delicious frozen pies, apple cider and apples/pumpkins to buy. There's also a small playground for kids, which is great for those under 8-9 or so.
price has gone up way too much
Fun place for family. Activities for kids and whole family. Good way to connect kids to nature. Delicious apples, corns n much more. Perfect family day out.
After years of coming here, this place is no longer a family favorite. Poorly run (arrived at 915 am and left at 1030 because staff couldn't figure out what was allowed to be open and what wasn't (petting zoo didn't get opened until 1020, maze is still closed as we leave and jumping pillow is $25 for 20 minutes and you have prebook online but the staff can't tell you how, hay ride is closed for some reason and they can't tell us when they are going to be running today). After Mutual disappointment shared between us and other parents , we just left. I wouldn't give this place another dollar. Soooo disappointed. 4 year old and 6 year old asked if we could just leave and go to the park.
Must go to place. You will taste the real apple juice. Every cup of juice there tastes different. Always pleasant surprise. Kids friendly as well.
Lots of fun picking apples and at the pumpkin patch! Also has a petting zoo with goats, chickens and bunnies. Great place to bring kids!
Cute putting for kids and family
Beautiful place. Highly recommended, Been going there for 19+ years. Busy before Halloween. Little less busy on weekdays. improve over the years. Great customer service. Friendly staff. corn Maz. pumpkin and corn cannons. Hay wagon rides. Pony rides. Pumpkin patch. Petting zoo. Kids barn. Bouncing bubble's. Fresh apple cider... And new hard ciders..... much more...... Just like most things, got pricey over the years. Parking can be a challenge
Apple picking was so much fun for my little one. They also have other fruits to pick such as pears and a variety of apples. Lots inactivities for a whole day adventure.
Great place for kids, tasty apples.
Bathrooms. Horrible. Pee befor you arrive.
Awesome family place but mucho expensive. Still, worth the visit.
Love this pumpkin patch. I have gone to this place for years with my kids during preschool and it’s been fun every year. From the maze to the cider and the bunnies there is just so much to see when your a kid. Each kid has loved going and we have gone as a family too and it was fun playing with them on all the different spots. I recommend this place for sure.
Overall experience was nice but over crowded probably as it was Thanksgiving. Seems very commercialised and needed prior booking to access most of the places.
Local family run operation doing things the old fashioned way.
Well planned out. Friendly. Nice looking pumpkins.
Seeing apples growing on trees for first time was good. Good place to spend quality time
So many activities for the kids well worth the money
We have visited Taves a couple of times and have had such memorable experiences. I love that they have so many activities for children (animals with opportunities to get up close, pet and feed them, pony rides, hay ride, play areas, etc.) and everything is laid out pretty well. The staff are always very friendly and being able to pick such delicious apples is a really nice experience with the family! You can definitely feel how much hard work has gone into the farm. My only criticism is the "corn cannon" being so close to the bounce pad and animal area. This afternoon it went off so many times and so loudly at random intervals I witnessed many children getting scared and covering their ears (although mine was oblivious). Some parents had to console their kids who were crying, so if you're child is sensitive to loud, unexpected noises I would be mindful of this. Definitely recommend going during quieter times, perhaps mid-week. A Saturday afternoon was very very busy, there was only one line up in the Country Store to pay for our apples and other purchases (the line was approx. 40 people long) and there weren't as many staff around to help with certain areas. For example, the ride on carts by the corn maze had no one minding it so unfortunately it became very disorganized as kids and adults tried to sort the carts. We will definitely return, but will be mindful about our timing.
Loved the ???? Butterfly Release and visiting all the farm animals. Yummy mini donuts too. ????????
Once you are in there it is awesome lots of stuff to do... getting there is another story cars parked everywhere to a point it is hard for even one car to fit through and mirrors end up getting clipped. should have one more field opened up for parking. The cars park from one end to the other on both sides of the road. Or at least have flaggers to control the traffic and help find spots.
Cool but SOOOO busy!
The Apple Barn is the Original Farm market in Abbotsford and the very best! Best quality!
GOOD place nice farm and hay ride
We are looking forward to see this place. But when we got there, it was chaotic. There were so many people, no masks and no distancing. And not very organized as well. I guess we picked the busiest time of the year to visit. We just went in and out. Not looking to visit this place anytime soon.
This place is great for young couples, germaphobes and people who have a fear of animals.
We've always enjoyed the activities at the Applebarn. The goats are fun to watch and their apple cider slushies are delicious.
I really enjoyed my time spent at this farm in the morning, prior to the afternoon crowd. The orchard was lovely, as was the pumpkin field. The animals were adorable, but it felt as though they were bombarded by children. (At one point my friend and I witnessed a group of children trying to hit the goats with sticks.) Also, the lineups were ridiculously long to purchase the pumpkins and/ or apples. So if you're trying to avoid a crowded space, this may not be your cup of tea.
Attended an event here for Halloween, pumpkin patch, hay rides, corn maze, animals and so much more. What a great place!!!!
Been going here for years, fun for kids and adults lots to do and very cheap!
Great experience. Must visit
Fun and enjoyable. Worth to be recommended to others. While some details still can be improved. Like there is only one family room for changing diapers. Hard to find the place to weight our picked apples.
Really wish this place had better line management. Lineup to order and pay for food, separate line to pickup one type of food, and yet another line for roasted food. All in all, it was over 20 minutes just to get a couple hotdogs. Wasn't particularly happy. Line for pony ride was over an hour and we gave up halfway. On the plus side, I will hand it to them, their pricing is very generous/fair, lots of tables for eating, and lots of activity options for different age groups. Wish their orchard rows had better signage of what variety they were. We noticed a significant number of apples on the trees with damage or rot. Maybe we came at a bad time of year/day? Anyway, I think next time we'll just pick a little bit for fun, then buy bags from the store.
Nice place to spend some quality family time!
Good farm. A bit of a tourist trap but would be a great place to go as a family.
Too many different types of entrance passes. It's confusing and we ended up buying a couple of them because kids want to enter different areas and they need wristband and you should go back to entrance and buy it. They force you to buy separate withstand for parents as well, considering all those kids jumping there, it's not safe to add parents to that area. They try to make you spend money on what you never gonna use. Not recommended!
Great for families with children. Couples will enjoy the Cidery.
Great apple picking experience
Fun place
We have lots fun !
Love taking my kids here, so much fun! We tried the apple cider it was delicious!
I recommend trying the trampoline
Love this farm! Amazing family and so much fun. It's a tradition to make it our fall stop.
Today, no 5 stars. Very busy, yes. But selling what you don't have is not ok! Having to waste 2 hours in 4 lines is not ok! You can't make people wait in line to buy tickets and then wait again, 40 more minutes to get the corn they paid for, when you knew was not going to be ready! And then you get corn that was not even done properly!
Corn is super delicious. It was $4,but I ate 3 corn.
Shooting a movie here. Owner and staff are fabulous. Great people, great place!
Buy apples, pumpkins and etc
We went out for what we hoped was going to be a fun family trip to the pumpkin patch. The price to get in wasn't bad, but the whole place was terribly understaffed. The first parking lot was full, but there were no staff at the second lot, and it was mayhem in there. We ended up parking blocks away. The kids enjoyed the bouncy area, but when we moved on to the petting zoo there were no staff around and the animals were in small dirty pens. The other bouncy area with pony rides wasn't as bad (still no staff) but they had cannons going off all the time which drive my son crazy. The wait to get out to the pumpkin patch was long and we just made it on. It was pretty picked over. We got 2 pumpkins that were relatively small, at $9.00 each! Considering the store is charging $3 for one I felt ripped off. They didn't even provide a bag for that price. Never going back. Very disappointed.
Fruit picking is ok,but not that fun for kids
Awesome place to bring the family for some fun. You have two bouncy pads, corn and sunflower mazes, petting zoos, unique playground features for the kids, a pedal cart loop, pumpkin cannon, and hay rides. This year, the Jona Gold apples that are located by the C-Lot parking area were outstanding! In addition to the various types of apples you can pick, various types of pumpkins were available for sale along with their usual apple products (pies, cider, and yummy apple slushes).
Great fun for the kids but be prepared for very heavy crowds. Parking spots can be difficult to find on a busy weekend
Had a lovely visit to the farm today. It didn't disappoint! Staff was great, so much for the kids and family in general to see and do!
animals are kept in very poor conditions, especially the bunnies
It was nice, coming to the farm today and enjoying the tractor riding, picking pumpkins and apples.. It was all great, but when it came to get something for lunch, this is when everything messed up on the farm. First we had to stand for about 25 minutes in the line to the order window, then it appeared that in order to get a roasted corn, after paying at this window, we would have to spend another 20-30 minutes in another line to actually get the corn. We were also going to buy some more apples from the store for our friends, but the lineup there was fairly long as well... so we left the farm with more like a negative impression, unfortunately. Probably today was some kind of an unusually busy day, but most likely we're not coming back there.
Love the apples. Great place to spend some time in weekend with family.
It was fun but well...they wanted me to pay $10 each person for u pick(included pumpkin patch). The website shows $4 per person. And also you need to pay for apples too. I will go another farm without entrance fee.
Great place to take walking toddlers and kids. Had a blast looking at the animals and picking apples. The apple slushie is a must have on a hot day to fully embrace the experience.
I come every year, and I love it everytime
My husband and I come here every year right before Halloween. We love the apple cider and roasted corn here in the local grocery store. They have many activities for children too. You can walk on through to the pumpkin patch if you just want to do that or pay for admissions if you want to do the hayride or corn maze. There's also U-pick apple picking! Or if you dont want to do that, you can buy bags of apples in their store. They also have a BBQ food truck that is pretty good too. They also have a few varieties of pumpkins which is really cool. I will be back again next year.
Fun day for kids and kids at heart. In addition to u-pick apples and pumpkins, there are a lot of activities including bouncing pillows, hay rides, corn maze, petting zoo, etc.
Although there were a number of activities to do, the super pass was sold out so we were unable to do most activities. It was $10 per person to do a basic corn maze, walk amongst pumpkins and go to the small petting farm (needs expanding and updating). We couldn't go in the playground areas, hay ride, and more, so disappointing. There should not be a two tiered entry system. Luckily our son was mature enough to understand, but I can't imagine how people with small children fare. What a let down.
Great place forbthe kids to visit and staff is friendky
Kids absolutely love Applebarn. Lots to see and do.
What a magical experience! A perfect blend of amazing things to do for both kids and adults. And so many animals to see. We loved all of it!
wont let you pet the chickens, corn maze gets real muddy
We LOVE this farm !! If you haven't gone .. Go !!! If you've been before .. go again !!!
So much to see and do at Taves Applebarn! Feed some goats, explore a corn maze, shoot a pumpkin cannon, play on a playground, enjoy some roasted corn, buy some farm fresh veggies, take a hayride and find the perfect pumpkin. This is a need to visit spot for fall!
What a gong show way to many immigrants with no maners and the lines for things
Very nice! Didn’t expect this much fun!
15min apple picking then 1 hour line up for paying. U pick price is about twice expensive than local food stores.
Great place for the family . It gets really really crowded on weekends. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Hay rides , jumping pillow, petting zoo, corn maze( kiddie and large one where you can be lost for 2 hrs)... and they tell pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.. produce, apples from the orchards or you pick apples...
Always a fun family tradition. Consistently expanding and changing various attractions while providing good apples and pumpkins! Parking can be an issue on busy days however, but that makes sense, right?
What a fun place to go with my kids. So many activites. Reasonable prices. The store is a little high cost but it is a private business, so you'll feel good supporting them. Two different corn mazes, two pillows to bounce on, cute baby animals, a little bunny petting station and so much more. Had alot of fun. New favorite place for pumpkins
Amazing experience. But need to put up better directions.
My family and I go here every year. My son loves the corn maze and we always buy a jug of fresh apple cider. The staff are friendly for the most part and there is lots to see
What a cool place. Very family oriented. Great food. Great fun. My children loved it here.
Great place for the family to spend a few hours enjoying the attractions and venturing around.
This is a great place to bring your kids. There is so much to do! My kids love the petting zoo and the jumping pillow.....plus the pumpkin cannons. The shop offers nice treats. The apple cider is very tasty. We hold an annual Pumpkin Party for our clients and friends and everyone has so much fun!
Great place to take your kids to find some pumpkins, ride a pony, or pet some bunnies.
Enjoyable farm and upick. Attractions are a bit costly, but optional and high quality.
Visited this place just by chance with family and loved it. Kids had a lot of fun and lot to see and explore. Keep up with good work and thanks again.
Our family visited the farm last week, on Friday. We had a lovely time. The children enjoyed it and it yielded some great family pictures :)
Lots of fun for the whole family. It's busy so get there early. Must try the cider, it is the best.
Lovely place to visit for a pumpkin patch adventure. Great for kids
It is very fun for family and has a bouncy mat
Been coming to the Apple barn since I was little, so many great memories! The staff are always very friendly and helpful!
I love this farm for the Spooky season. Every year they do more and more and add new amusements attractions which makes it fun to keep going back to the same place every year! Plus the produce is incredible and affordable!
It's all in one, good place for children!
Aaaa memory to tresure!! So nice in every way.. petting zoo the best ❤❤
So much fun here for kids
Very good prices for pumpkins, but pretty disorganized. Couldn't figure out where anything was, or where to pay, where the patch was. Could be a little clearer on directions, and maybe more staff to guide/enforce rules.
A good way to spend a morning. Apples to pick, a corn maze to wander, and goats and chickens to visit with.
First of all prices there are different that they have on the website. You came there. You paid. Is this honest???? Plus pay parking ( on the grass)$8. Ot is like downtown on weekends. Please do not forget you masks. You can buy there just for $2.!
Great family fun. Lots to do
Fun place for children and adults too. Plum, apple, pear, corn and pumpkin for sure. Tickets your kids can play all day!
Good ciders, though small selection. Tasting area was a little unorganized and confusing.
So fun! Children enjoyed the pillow jumpers, and petting the animals.
This is by far the best pumpkin patch in Vancouver. Food is amazing and every age is entertained. Plan on shopping cause the produce and cider are amazing. Also take home an apple pie!!
Lots of fun. Juiciest apples and tons of pumpkins ????
A great place to bring children 12 and under. Between the apple picking, the petting zoo and other activities, they should be entertained for hours. Excellent apple slushies.
Over crowded. Queues everywhere. It is not inexpensive.
We went there as a school field trip. Its got something for the kids and adults. It was a fun time to pass the afternoon. The adults get to end it with a quick trip to the cidery. Their cider is pretty good!
i paid $50 for 2 adults and a kid, to find out that all jumping pillows are pre booked and for an extra charge as well!! No pumpkins included in the admission, and the apple picking just ended the day before as per the admission. The hay carts are old and not working properly and the maze track is super small, so I definitely feel ripped off! As I payed $50 for super short hay ride and petting zoo that’s super small.
Very fun. Decent prices and good food/drinks! Good fun for all the family!
so fun and cute
Have you ever watched apple cider being made. If not you have come to the right place! They have an petting area for children. Love watching the kids as they experience what it is like on a farm. It is amazing. You can buy apples in the fall and they have fresh locally grown produce.
so many pumpkins, a tour including a great wagon ride, and education about bees too!
We've come here 4 years in a row now! Lots of activities for the kids and great apple cider!
Fun day out with cider and goats.
Love! the pony rides. Really picturesque. Kids love the bouncy pillow and peddle tractor races through the corn maze. Not to mention the slides and the hay ride are great too. Apple orchard and pumpkin patch are lovely. Perfect for those autumn photo shoots with the fam. A family of 4 plus grandpa and we spent $100 before we knew it!
This place is so much fun, and if you go on a weekday, or not busy day, it's free to enter. There's animals to look at, apples and pumpkins to pick, a cidery where they sell cider made from their own produce, a little shop where you can buy fresh picked apples, fresh non-alcoholic cider, and apple and pumpkin related goodies. There's lots of activities for kids. And though it wasn't open when we were there on a random Monday, it looks like there's also a concession, coffee hut, and freshly roasted corn and potatoes on busier days! I will definitely be back. Oh, and the Fuji apples we picked are fantastic!
Cutest pumpkin patch! Lots of cool things to check out, including a maze, pumpkin weighing station, and a Cinderella carriage
Lots and lots of fun, but a lack of traffic direction out front.
We love it here! Tons to do for kids, delicious food and drink, and yummy apples! Their cider is scrumptious! Be sure to come early as parking is a chore.
My kids loved the ???? and we enjoyed ????too. ❤️
We were excited for the Easter event but didn't get to do half of what we paid for. Asked an employer about the scavenger hunt but they just shrugged their shoulders. By the time we clarified that is was infact something we had paid for we were told they were already packing it up. No appoliges or anything offered. Feeling ripped off and extremely disappointed. Before we realized we were not going to get to do everything that was advertised, we thought we would like to come back again in the fall. After today's disappointment we won't be back.
Super fun experience, highly recommend it!!
Beautiful barns, lovely people, you can see just how much work and dedication goes in to keeping this whole operation running round year and smoothly. I just adore the animal's and you can really see how loved they ALL are. Great price's and it is definitely worth the trip! Thank you EvErYoNe!
Fabulous place for a fall family outing! The goats and rabbits available for petting were so sweet, and all the animals were clean, happy, and healthy looking. Selection of pumpkins, apples, and other fall veggies made for a really fun trip. Wrist bands were totally worth it!
Just s fantastic place to take the family.
best friendly farm for kids 0-99. love the goats and slides
Love it . Can get really busy tho . Apples are delicious.
Lots of pumpkins to choose from, but there's no wheelbarrows when you get down to the patch. There's barley any staff anywhere (for any activities besides pumpkin patch) And this place smells horrid. I get its a farm, but the raw poultry smell is awful and overwhelming.
Taves is always a good time. Some people didn't want to cooperate and get off the wahon to allow those of us waiting to get on. My daughter had to carry her 11 month old back to the start. This doesn't reflect on Taves as the driver told them to get off and let those waiting get on. People......
So fun for kids and adults, even on a rainy day!
Great farm for kids and lots to learn
We drove all the way from Maple ridge to get here when it opened which was 9am. When we got here we found out that nothing is open until 10am and that the playground and jumping pillow are closed indefinitely which is contrary to the information on the website. Don't waste your time driving out here.
Coolest place to visit in Halloween for families.
Raising our review back to 5 stars. The last two years the experience went from bad to worse, but this year it was great. The staff was great, the amenities were great. We all had a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
Great place to bring the kids and buy some beautiful farm fresh produce. Big play area, small zipline, super friendly goats in the petting area. Bring quarters to buy corn kernels in the vending machine and you will have some new friends for life. Lots of varieties of apples available for u-pick as well.
Well the pricing was very confusing.. not clear as to what you are paying for. If u want to u-pick you don't have to pay the entrance of 13.50 per adult 17.5p per child 2+.on the weekends. The fee is for if you and your kids.will be doing the corn maze, track, petting zoo, pumpkin lane etc.. u-pick prices are omg expensive small bag id 9.50 for the apples. A big pumpkin is 14.00 ... where the same size.would be 4.00 at superstore. Apples were picked through already... is it great for families... if u can afford it.. not sure I would do it again... being an adult with no kids.
Great place! Every year getting better! Always a good experience!
I had so much fun here with my husband and cat (we take her everywhere)! We enjoyed the hayride to the pumpkin patch and found some great choices. A perfect fall day with plenty of activities. Staff was super friendly and Covid safe. I’m sure it’s packed on the weekends. We only wish the corn mazes had a different exit (same as entrance) haha.
Great facility, however the lady who took us on the hay ride with the school was not friendly. Probably would not go back there.
Great experience. Definitely recommend the large mystery maze, it was a challenge to get out of. The pumpkin patch and pumpkin path are great for pictures.
Tremendous value for the money this place has everything! Be prepared to spend around $30 all said and done per person. Maybe less if its kids. Or less if you don't plan to do every single activity. Just the pumpkin patch and corn maze was $9 a person. Completely pet friendly as of October 2021 Family and adult friendly. The Steamworks truck was around and food was actually well priced.
Always a blast to come here. It has been our source for pumpkins every year and something we look forward to. This year we visited in September and it was so nice to experience it without all of the crowds. Highly recommended!
Great fun for kids. Parking was a little difficult considering how busy this place was!
Super busy but super fun for the kids on Thanksgiving.
do not buy used ca or truck not honest
Despite COVID, they did a great job for the Easter egg hunt. Kids were so excited.
Great for kids...a real fun fall experience.
Lots to do here for kids and adults and great customer care
Amazing time. Great apples, lots of things for the kids (and inner kids) to do. So glad that we bought the season pass, we will be back a lot. Their cider mill makes outstanding ciders as well! Super reasonably priced for what you're getting, not to mention the experience itself. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back for more apples, and pumpkins!
Our favorite place every year ????
Great place, loved the ciders!
Great place to bring the kids. Friends staff and some nice fresh produce.
I took my twin 3 year olds today and we all had a great time. There were a ton of activities set up (petting zoo, corn maze, pedal carts, TWO bouncy things (what are those giant pillows called?), slides... we didn't even get to the zipline or the hayride). Plus a playground, tractor to climb on, and weird gourds to examine. The place was clean and, most important to me, the animals looked well taken care of. So many times I've been to farms like this where the animals have no water/dirty mud in their dish, no food and generally look miserable. Not the case here at all! I was very happy to see the animals all looked well groomed, happy and had fresh food and water. We LOVED the goat skywalk. We went on a Monday, I imagine it's very busy on weekends. Bathrooms were clean and there were tons of hand washing stations. But there are probably line ups for the bathrooms when it's crowded, along with everything else. No hot food on weekdays, but we got popcorn and apple cider and had a snack.
I've been going here every fall since I was in kindergarten (20 years total) and every year it just gets better!
It's good for families with small kids ages 1-6. Older kids would probably enjoy the Corn maze, and the pedal go karts.
Good place for family pumpkin patch adventure...required to wear masks on hay ride and attractions.
Great time was had by our kids and apple cider was on point. lots of parking and space in an outdoor setting
We enjoyed several aspects of the farm. The hayride was lovely and the driver was a great guy helpful and friendly. This place is over priced in my opinion. But they have excellent apple cider of course. We did not like how busy it was and there were way too many not wearing masks where required and too many people not social distancing. I understand this is a hard thing to police however my family's safety is my #1 concern. It was difficult to do certain things because of how many people were there. Again I have alot of worry over the safety of the operation. But I'm sure during a normal year it would be lovely to visit, however again it is very overpriced for what you get.
Terrific for kids, lots to see, giant bouncy pillows (trampoline), slides, hay bale ride, many variety of pumpkin I never knew existed. On-site Apple Cider (adults) and the Kids-version too.
My kids had a lot of fun in Taves farm. We picked 17lb apples for $27. So fresh and delicious. Their apple cider slushes are delicious too!
We had a great day at the Taves Family farm! ???? They had so much to do that my family couldn't even do everything in 4 hours. Corn mazes, maze karts, live music, petting farm, u-pick apples, nummy lunch, bouncy pillows and country store. You must get the apple cider slushies ????
Great place to pick your own apples. Super fresh! Lots of fun activities for the kids. The apple cider is sooo delicious!
We had a ton of fun in the pumpkin patch at Applebarn Pumpkin Farm Ltd. We saw a goat on the roof! Beautiful sunset. Lots to do at this Fraser Valley destination.
Cute family farm to spend the day. Great apples and lots of fun activities to do. Loved the one-way sunflower field. Great social distancing measures. A little out of the way but worth the trip.
Favorite pumpkin patch
Pretty cute place in the middle of nowhere.
When we went it was a little chilly, always remember gumboots fun place lots to do with the kids
We had such a great time here. It has everything you could want if you're looking to experience fall. The animals, bouncy pillow, corn maze, hay ride, and pony rides were thoroughly enjoyed by my children. We had fun picking apples, and exploring the pumpkin patch and then rounded out our day with some apple cider slushies and fresh roasted corn.
Best apple cider in the Fraser Valley
Very cool place!!! Take your kids!!!
We went on Sunday for a little date. Online it stated there was ample room to social distance. Maybe in the fields but not the main areas. It was awful. The entire place was packed. They took no information for any of the guests in case of COVID tracing and no social distancing was happening. Barely anyone was wearing masks and they were not even attempting to limit the number of people being let in at a time. We left as soon as we could because we were so anxious regarding COVID rules not being followed. Regardless of their answer being "unexpectedly busy this past weekend" does not give a reason for not limiting admittance. That could have solved the problem, but instead it was about profit. We were extremely dissapointed with our first experience here.
Great applebarn farm! Delicious apples!
What an amazing place, down to the last detail. This was our first time visiting and it won't be the last. We spent around 3 hours here - well worth the price. Friendly staff with lots of activities and farm products, big thanks for a wonderful experience!
Fantastic place to have an afternoon of fun, grab some pumpkins, explore the corn maze and petting zoo, than grab pies, cider, and other tasty treats.
So much fun!!!! Hay rides, Apple and pumpkin picking. Along with very tasty apple cider and pies.
Beautiful to get away from the city. AND way best to go during the week and NOT on the weekend.
Amazing experience in the sunflower patch. So much to enjoy and experience for kids and adults. Definitely will be returning!
Really fun and awesome place, had a blast going there with friends. It was a wee bit crowded when I was there, but that's out of the control of the owners, so I can't really complain about that.
Great place with lots of things to do. My kid likes here a lot !
The apple ,plum is low priced. And it taste good.
Apple ciders are over the top good and welcoming, the fudge they carry is beyond tasteful (Caramel Apple Pie Fudge), the Hayride is calming and sweet. Friendly and passionate staff
Awesome day on the farm! ☀️
We had lots of fun feeding animals and patching the pumpkin. The picnic tables were great for eating our lunch
They have the best apple juice for sale . $10.99 for 4 liters
We LOVE it here and it’s an annual family tradition to visit and take in all the attractions. Hay ride, apple cider, apple upick, pumpkins of all shapes sizes and colours. We love it all! Would caution if you are looking to avoid crowds don’t even go near them on the weekends because they’re extremely popular (more so this year) with cars parked for kilometres down the road! But we really love this well run, family oriented, super cute place. Can’t wait to come back not pregnant next year so I can try their new hard cider area!
My first visit. My little one totally enjoyed it.
Lots of things to see and do. My kids had a blast and so did I.
Super duper fun for all ages and amazing staff
Kids love this place!
We pick apples and load a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins then pay a visit to the store for other produce and of course an apple cider slushy. They have pumpkins of all sizes shapes and colours and the prices are very reasonable compared to getting them at a grocery store. Plenty of activities for the kids, a hayride, petting zoo, pumpkin shooting etc.
Such a fun day! We did the corn maze -which was a lot harder than I thought! Their apple cider and apple cider slushy are great. There is a beautiful pumpkin patch, jumping pillows, petting zoo, hay rides, cider mill (where you can watch and learn how they make the apple cider), and coming soon they'll have hard ciders to try in their tasting house. There are a lot of little details to the farm like Troll Bridge which their goats walk across. It reminds me of Disney if Disney was a farm. I'm excited for next fall to go again.
Got the chance to spend a beautiful sunny day in this place. They had a pumpkin patch, corn mazes, a cidery and many other interesting things to do and see there. Totally recommend it!
Very nice farm and family-oriented activities
Fun fun fun. The kid loved it. Apple cider is awesome. Pumpkins cheap but high quality. Maze was fun. Lots to do.
It is a good place to visit with kids.
Expensive and crowded. BUT crowded because it is very good. However; our experience is only 3 stars. Pricing: It was 35 dollars "family rate" for two adults and two children. This reflects the price of 10.50 per child and 7.00 per adult. No discount. Activities: Lots and well thought out. Two huge bouncy surfaces, a great hay ride, petting zoo, tricycle race, pedal go carts, pony rides, pumpkin picking, and much more. Conclusion: It took forever to get in and parking was terrible and it was expensive, and crowded, BUT, if you can get past that it is fun. We lasted 2 hours.
A ton of fun as always. Wish there was a solution to parking, but it is so popular not much can be done.
Great pumpkin patch, apple orchard and lots of other great family activities
Cool place to go with kids, lots of fun stuff to do and see. Too bad adults have to pay.
I like that you can get into the apple farm free and then if you wish to partake in other events you have the option if you wish to pay.
A ton of fun
Great apple cider for fermenting, and they will fill a keg. What lowered the rating for me: it was an insanely busy day we went, and the lines were so long we felt like we couldn't buy pumpkins or other produce - perhaps over thanksgiving weekend have some more staff on hand to help out?
Nice nice place especially for families, kids would love it,petting zoo, trampoline, corn maze, hay ride
This is a great farm to take the kids ... we just love this time of year when the pumpkins are out and the leaves are falling... great place to visit... super busy on the weekends but during the week if your trying to avoid the lineups not everything is open.... for example the trampoline is only open on weekends
Very nice farm, with big and red apples on the site not far from the main farm. The farm offered free entry before if you were only there for apple picking, but not now. We come every year through.
Too many people with dogs, cooked corn wasn't nearly as good as previous years and no caramel apples, disappointed this year compared to previous years!!!
So much fun with the kids and the honey crisp apples are sooo tasty!
Absolutely amazing. We went on a rainy day. We were able to go to the petting zoo. We saw the goats, chicken sheep And some grouchy white geese That bantered like a old married couple. Wildly entertaining! Mady in the cider shop was amazing. This was the first time my wife and son Have come to the pumpin patch. Lots of fun. They were respectful of social distancing as well as easily accessible Hand wash stations. We can’t wait to come back. :)
very unorganized farm, the staff had no knowledge of when events ran, for example the hay rides the bathroom should have signage as to toilet flushing, also my daughter had no toiler paper, and there were no paper towels in the bathrooms or at the animal petting zoo the slide area should have quicker access for adults to get to the bottom of the slide to gather up their children, especially the younger children. no direction at the actual u-pick for where to park I think this place needs to have more informed staff, and more staff for directing traffic at the u-pick I would not go back here
Good choice to spend a day with kids and for picking pumpkins and apples, but I would say that kids after 8-9 years old will have less fun than smaller kids.
Awesome fun place for kids
Great experience for kids and young families
Great day at Applebarn! They have made a lot of changes to try and address the longer lines and have spread activities out more. Staff was friendly and helpful. Love that the steam works truck is there, yum! Kids loved it. I had a problem with buying tickets online and didn’t select the ones I wanted. The manager was super helpful and friendly and fixed it. Can’t wait to go back next year!
Loved the goats.
We love this place. We've checked out lots of pumpkin patches, but this one is our favourite. If you like fresh apple cider, honey, and pies, you gotta go here.
If you’re dying to get COVID, check out Taves Farm. There were thousands of people, many maskless, milling about without any social distancing measures in place. There were no limits on entries and they could not have jammed more people in there. How can you possibly be running a corn maze with rows that barely fit two people side by side? Wildly irresponsible, but at $17 a head, how could you turn folks away?
Really great place to start your Instagram profile! Jokes asides this place is a great one for a week off in the countryside. We came all the way from Vancouver to take pictures here! Not let down.
Fun times despite a few issues. We thought we would try it out as something different from the city pumpkin patches. The playful animals were great and gentle. The corn maze was fun with the colors. The food was good. The pumpkin tree looked good as well. It just would have been great if the hay ride to the field didn't breakdown partway and if the staff members by the corn maze actually knew information about there workplace such as where the hay ride started. I also found it odd that the admission price didn't include a pumpkin. Oh well...pick your battles...
No Parking, Too many people
1st time here, just wonderful!
We go here every year. The place and people are both amazing. We are considering checking out the Easter event next year.
A well organised farm open to the public for apple picking and pumpkin picking. It appeared to be very popular with a very good attendance when I was there. It is well organised and maintained and has entertainment areas for children, concessions for food/snacks and shops. I had a very enjoyable afternoon there. Good for all ages.
I’m very disappointed in the organization and administration with Taves Family Farm. Last week I paid $155.00 to join the Canada Day celebration 2021 with this price for a picnic with my family. However, I just got a call at 7pm cancelling my picnic reservations. I wasn’t happy that they called me at the last minute to cancel. Very disorganized and disappointing!! They didn’t explain why they were cancelling and what was reason for not calling sooner as this does not help me plan something else to do. They didn’t give me any other options as in I could bring my own picnic there. I have a sour taste in my mouth now and will not book any functions with them again. They obviously have poor planning and administration there!
Had a great time.
Good place for family and kids and date
Too far. Everything is pricy. Not worth it.
This is a beautiful place to take the kids. This is a favorite for the whole family. We look forward to our fall fun at the Apple barn every year.
People can enjoy a day picking fruits like apple, pear & plum. It's a good activity for a family too. The kids also can play with the rabbits, know the nature a bit more.
Wish we could have stayed longer. Can't wait to see them again
We always enjoy our fall visits here and the apples are the best!
amazing place for families! lots of amazing pumpkin ????
Great place to hang out and relax.
We were on holidays from Toronto and absolutely loved our experience here. So we’ll put together and friendly. This place will not disappoint.
Had a great time, pumpkin cannon, pumpkin patch, and a million things for the kids to do. Expensive day, but fun for sure. If it wasn't so expensive, we'd go more then once a year
Great place for the family. . Sunrise washrooms were completely unlevel and full up the tube of the toilet and stunk worse than a Porta potty. Which I used instead of the wobbly stairs on the bathroom trailer. . But the Taves still put on a great experience for the family. .
Lots of things to do with the family. Corn mazes, pony rides, hay rides, plenty of variety of apples to pick from and delicious apple cider.
Good time everytime!
Admission was a great price, did not expect a pumpkin to be included. Roads were paved and not muddy at all. There were more wheel barrels available than anyone could ever imagine. Did not smell like raw poultry at all! 10/10 would recommend. Amazing!
Awesome place! You can pick what you want. Also, they sell amazing apple cider
A great farm for pumpkins and a full of funs.
My family and I, a 2yr, 12yr old and my wife, had a great time. We went and got the day pass and had a great time. We enjoyed a hayride to get pumpkins then went to the petting zoo, where you can adopt some of the bunnies. Had fun in the small corn maze and loved the play areas. The store was very nice and clean, well priced and with a varied selection of ciders and treats. The estate ciders was very well done and sells some of the best hard ciders I have had in many years. Overall the trip was a great success and my family and I thank the farm and its employees for a great day and experience.
Nice getaway for a day in nature. Fun rides for kids
Cute place to get a flight and pet some goats at the same time. Will be back!
The Taves family are a special group of people who made us feel right at home. We had a wonderful time picking apples, seeing the pumpkin patch and feeding the goats.
I took my small daycare group on a spring field trip to Taves Family Farm. The guided tour was excellent! The children learned about pollenation, apple blossoms, had fresh pressed cider a hay ride and got to plant a seed,! They also enjoyed playing on the bouncy pillow, slides, and other playground equipment! They loved the petting barn and seeing the goats, bunnies and the turkey! This was a really great field trip for my group of 2 - 7 year olds!
Met up with some relatives here and the kids (and us adults ;) ) all had an awesome time. From the animals, to the trampolines, to the Zipline barn, to the hayride, it was a very enjoyable stop!!
Family friendly. Petting zoo and we loved picking our own apples!!!
How very, very refreshing! Loved the farm and facilities and love their delicious fruit. As for shop server Barb, what an asset you are to Applebarn! Thank you.
The Jonagold apples are the sweetest and biggest you can pick. I go there every October with my family and have never been disappointed with the quality of the apples.
Not covid friendly
Fun family atmosphere. Kids love feeding the goats, the jumping pillow, hay ride, apple picking and pumpkin patch.
Lots of fun. So much to do! Spent large part of the day here. Love the new Farmville area!
What fun... made it through the corn maze ... a very busy and popular place to go in the fall.... Lots of apples, cider is delicious, family friendly and the pumpkins are amazing... it was a great day!!
Tons of fun, well laid out, and so much to do!
Awesome friendly staff great things to buy. Beautiful apples cold pressed juice, pumpkins ???? & the most amazing gourds the likes of which I've never seen in the grocery store! A cidery... music playing hayrides family fun & amazing energy.... oh & sponge toffee!!!
Had a wonderful time with my niece and nephew. Was well worth spending the money to gain access to all of the extra activities.
Great place for family traditions to start. Plus amazing apple cider!!!
Great place to visit with family they just need more parking attendants to direct you to the empty parking spots as find that it was hard to drive in then get turned around as people parked to block the exits
Apple tastes good, and kids love this place. It is a bit pricy as I paid about $80 for kids fun pass excluding ride and corn maze. I also paid about $30 for apple U-pick. Food could be improved and ticket could be cheaper. Smell is pretty bad as there are animals. More investment needed after Covid. But we were enjoying the time.
Best place to go for a pumkin and some apples
Waaaaaau
Great u pick ! Can't get enough of the apples and kids love the petting zoo and jumping pillow!!
Good place for children. Lots to do.
Had a blast on field trip and came back with family few days later.
This place is amazing and the staff is pretty great too
Great place for kids to run around and pick apples while enjoy lots of activities.
I took my children here years ago, and was disappointed to find it over crowded and over priced, needed a wristband to enjoy anything won't be back!
Very disappointed at the lack of social distancing measures here today. We had booked tickets in advance, but it was extremely crowded and there was no suggestion entry was being limited. Huge, crowded lines for everything, no space to safe distance from others in the activity areas. There were some signs about social distancing, etc, but I saw absolutely no enforcement. Number limits of people in activity areas were not being implemented by staff in some areas (jump pillow). Disappointing to pay so much and drive so far and basically get some produce and leave because the activities were so extremely packed. Biggest crowds I've seen anywhere since the pandemic started.
Very friendly staff. Farm grows varieties of apples, corns, pumpkins, plums. There is a small petting zoo too. You can also taste the apple cider made there and buy fresh produce.
HI I can say .Really beauty place to visit.
Went on their website. Nothing about restricting dogs. I asked them to show me where it says about NO DOGS. They said it says it on our entrance (never showed me it on their website). Anyhow, 80km drive for nothing. They need to tell ppl the rules clearly on their website. No apology. All animals are in pens in any case. Their goats are currently staring at my dog. Anyhow, just poor business practices.
Favorite place for Fall Family Fun!
Small but cosy, decent cider for the kids.
very beautiful and well kept place that will entertain you and your family. Picturesque so your Instagram will look amazing. I highly recommend. I got lost in the corn maze but managed to find my way.
Good place to visit- can be quite expensive
The little ones love it here & so do I, there's lots to do for the family with the corn mazes, hay ride, peddle cars, cute goats, playground and you can even go home with a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. All in all a fun filled day & I would definitely recommend that you visit this place.
Awesome spiced apple cider. Kids loved it there.
It's so big! And the staff are so friendly!
Came here with my Childs class for a field trip, would give less stars if possible, staff are rude and disorganized. Go to alder acres or laity. The experience was horrible for everyone. AVOID.
COVID precautions barely existent and not followed. Absolutely jammed with people. Bought a ticket online, still have to wait in regular line (what's the point of online sales?) Terrible lines (not physically distanced). Bad parking situation. Pumpkin not included in expensive ticket price.
My son had a fieldtrip for pumpkin patch and our 19mos old had fun too ???? i loved their fresh apple juice
I can only give 3 stars and thats only for the available activites, which my family enjoyed.....However I would give no stars when you have to wait for over a hour and half to buy your apples and pumpkins..... I understand it was a busy day.....However that aspect should have been taken into account.....I would think twice about visiting your farm again if this is how our day is to finish. .
Great fun and lots to do. Try the cider and go for a wagon ride too.
Great place to visit, lots of pumpkins and lots of kids activities.
Great family place. The apple salsa sold in the store is amazing. Make sure you pick up a jar.
Great place to take family. So much to do.
It was nice ride from Delta to the farm enjoyed the Cider
Busy and expensive. Or wasn't very well organized when I visited but it's worth trying again on a slower day.
Really nice staff and an amazing property! I recommend the apple cider slush is and I was ordering a couple for each day I visited here. The goats are really fun to talk to as they will join you in conversation. Sunset here is absolutely beautiful!
Great place for families and children to enjoy your family day.
Lots of fun activities with family such as petting zoo, tractor ride, corn maze, pumpkin picking, pony rides, and bouncy pad
Family place we had great time
Kids had fun - however 75.oo for myself and 2 kids is more then i will pay again
Another great family adventure for young and old. This was the Apple festival. So deliciously fun
Went last weekend after reading great reviews with alot expectations - bought 2 tickets as we were interested in corn maze. They didn't allow us to enter corn maze as they were only allowing the group who were doing Hayride (Tickets waste). Also there were so many people and social distancing was not there.
This was my first time apple picking and I am glad I came to the Applebarn! So much to see and do! Apple picking is just the start of your adventure here!
Fun for most of the family, although going on a long weekend with the pumpkin patch in full operation might not be the best idea. Highlights: pumpkin cannon, corn gun, bouncy mats, corn maze, pumpkin patch, play areas, petting zoo, and of course as many farm produced items as possible (pies, juices, smoothies, etc.)
Very organized. Lots of parking. Activities are fun. My 12 year old had a very fun experience. Staff are polite and courteous. I found the actual process of purchasing a pumpkin was confusing and overly complex. I found more signage about where you can't purchase the pumpkin than where you can. You either have to haul the pumpkins through the general store or line up at the front entrance. Overall 100% satisfied. Highly recommend the roasted corn and the apple cider screamers.
Lots of pumkins it was late in the apple season so not manny apples
Fantastic place filled with fun for all ages. Helpful staff, animal exhibits and even a pumpkin cannon are just a few of the many great reasons to go. First time for us, but it will for sure become our new tradition.
Would love to visit here again ! They also got the BEST CORN ????
Great experience with our kids!
We decided to shift from our normal pumpkin patch and try Taves.. We were very disappointed. The line up for the hay ride is right in front of the way up to the slides and way to crowded especially with kids trying to play. We waited for 15 minutes to be let into the pumpkin path... then had to wander around for 10 minutes trying to find a staff member to ask about opening it for us.. as we were leaving (driving down the road) we had realised we missed half the activities.. didn't even know they existed because their was not a lot of signs.. no staff were anywhere except 2 in the store and 1 in the ticket booth. Does this place just not have staff?? Disappointed with the petting zoo part only animal my son could even get close to was a goat. I really wish my 3 year old and I could of had a better experience.
Apples and pumpkins done really well! Affordable family fun.
Fun place for kids, will come visit next year.
Great family experience!
Really fun place, the corn maze was great
Nice place but terribly busy so not much fun
It's a great place to take the kids. Lots to do and lots of fun. Parking can be difficult on a busy day.
Great place where parents can have a cider while watching kids have fun feeding farm animals. Theres many sorts of delicious alcoholic and non alcoholic cider variations and activities for the family
We visited Taves Farm on a Sunday afternoon and they wanted to charge admission for visiting the country store.
Great place to have family fun!!!
Seems like a weekend activity. A weekday trip was rather disappointing insofar as the staffing was concerned. I saw 4 employees total in a couple of hours at the farm. The hay ride driver was very friendly, the remainder of the staff seem to be running a farm that you are in the way of. I had 2 staff members ask me to stand further away from a goat pen as they felt my dog was sitting too close to the fence which is fair enough although I would have appreciated if they made some effort to ask politely especially considering there was no signage or other employees to indicate that a calm dog sitting at a fence was not appreciated. Overall it was a disappointing experience. We made a conscious effort not to purchase anything there and visited another farm on the way back to Vancouver for a pumpkin etc which we found to be much more pleasant.
It is clear the Taves family is passionate about what they do. We return year after year for their Fall festivities and always enjoy ourselves. Today was no exception. They have new features throughout the farm (they've eliminated the lower parking lot and replaced it with an entire field of fun activities for kiddos). They've expanded their parking from 150 spots in the previous lot, to 400 in their neighbour's field they've rented. It is a massive operation but I never feel as though it is disorganized. The pricing is fair. The signage is plentiful, and the fields are beautiful. Happy to support such a well-run operation from a business/family that I always hear is kind to their neighbours and patrons.
Love this place
Great family place. Cider is super tasty.. love the slushies!
Our family always enjoys going here. It can be pricey to go in for all the activities at the farm. We tend to save that too do once a year in the Fall during pumpkin season. We really look forward to apple picking season. We wait specifically for honeycrisp to be available. It's our favourite to eat and make pie with. We got 10lbs for $16 with u-pick. Our kids enjoy helping picking all the apples. What's nice is if you just want to do apple picking, you go right to the stand for u-pick and get the size bag you need. You'll then be directed where to go in the fields. No need to pay for a bracelet for all the farm activities (unless you want to do that too!). When there, a favourite treat of ours to buy is the apple cider slushies. We each get one when we're done picking.
This place was great and my son he enjoyed it so so so much. Especially playing with the goats. And he loved an apple so much he almost finished it all. It was good experience for me as well.
Hidden on a country side road.......you are unaware of such a delightful treasure till you actually walk up to the entrance... Great for young children.
Decent place but very expensive, other farms with similar things for much cheaper, also the pony rides are not included in admission fee which is fine but there should be a sign up. I waited in line for 15 minutes to see the people in front of me get turned away because they didn’t have tickets and the people behind me, once I went and got a ticket now I had to wait in line again, saw two more sets of people get turned away because the didn’t have tickets, a sign up saying “tickets for pony rides at front” would have solved all of this
While the actual pumpkin patch and orchard were nice and had less people , the rest of the farm was INSANELY busy. NOT covid safe. most people had masks but crowding was bad, long lines and not enough signs to explain where to go. would not go again :( Given the season they need to limit the amount of people in at one time. I feel so bad for staff working there
Very organized and fun for the family!
Very organized and fun for the family!
Too commercialized now. But it's still a fun place
It looks nice there, but NO covid precautions are in place. No social distancing being enforced and WAY too many people. I was shocked at all of the crowded areas during a pandemic. We bought tickets in advance and left without getting a pumpkin because it was too risky with the crowds and not worth the exposure to so many strangers. If they were inundated with people on a specific day, they should let the people in who pre-booked and pre-paid and stop selling tickets at the gate in order to comply with covid provincial health and safety guidelines. Unfortunately I will not be returning.
Its a great place lots of fun great place to just spend walking around. Petting animals and there super friendly
I have been going to Taves Farm since I was a little girl! This is by far my favorite pumpkin patch in the Fraser Valley. & their Apple Cider is sooo yummy! Love supporting them :)
so much fun could spend a whoke day here!
Great place to visit... ????
Nice and friendly environment for the entire family.
This place is so well set up and is very family friendly. The staff are super nice. There is a lot to do for everyone. The corn on the cob is so tasty!! We had a lot of fun. However, it is insanely expensive for what it is.
So had to go across the street as it was busy but got the best golden apples.
It's a lot of fun, however has become quite a bit more expensive than in the past
I'm tour guide at ESL Tour. We did pumpkin patch and carving there. There are a lot of fun things out there. Also there are lots of delicious fruits. You can pick your self.
Fun place to get pumpkins, apples and apple cider.
Good apple
Kids loved the activities, particularly the pedal karts and the jumping pillow. The grown-ups loved the cidery. It was expensive for a young family but just about worth it!
Fun but very busy. Extremely hard to park. Lucky they have nice neighbors...
A little bit far from Vancouver, but still worthy to go. Fresh fruits, beautiful sunflowers, especially the apple products...yummy!
Fun place! My kids loved petting the goats and the bouncy play area. Their corn maze was fun, we were so lost! Their apple cider juice was so good, we bought 2 jugs!
Fun family experience, but they desperately need to fix the payment system. Having all the food payments go through the coffee bar is ridiculous, especially because the 2 employees are also making all the coffees. And my daughters "won" ice cream cones on the 2$ wheel spin, then had to stand in a half hour pay line up, then go to the kitchen for the cones. Then all the other purchases, including pumpkins go through the store. There needs to be a pumpkin sales station away from the backed up store. So many traffic jams for no reason. And since you know that baked potatoes take time, start them cooking right at the start of the day so that they're available right when you start selling food. They weren't ready until an hour after everything else.
Don't forget to U pick fruits
Great pumpkin escape!! Food is tremendous..!
First time to go in here and its a nice place lots of fun, we will be back again for the apple picking..
Nothing special. Items in the store could be a bit cheaper. The road going in is very bumpy and can get very muddy. Would be nice if owners addressed this. The day we went none of the services were open except for the petting zoo (but all food dispensing machines were empty), and the store. We like to get pumpkins from there, so will probably be back.
Little bit on the overpriced side no need for it
Very busy, haven't seen yet so many people there. I think we can blame the beautiful weather for that.????
Love Taves family farm. The jumping pillow are awesome and animals are friendly. The baby goats were so cute.
Very cute, great for families. Very busy on a warm weekend but that is to be expected
The lineups are horrendous. Not impressed. They can weigh your apples but not your pumpkin. No system in place
I think in a pre-COVID world this would have been a 3 or even 4 star review, but unfortunately it was too busy and a large portion of the staff wasn't pleasant (likely overwhelmed, so I can look past it).I pre-bought tickets and thought there would be a lot of COVID protocol, but it just didn't feel that way. There were obvious COVID measures, BUT it still felt too busy and there were a lot of people not wearing masks or wearing masks inappropriately (they don't go UNDER your nose!!!). I think I would have potentially loved this place, but I was too ANXIOUS, especially carrying around a one year old, who can't wear a mask. I try to support local business and keep life as normal as possible for my family, while being responsible, and if I had known how crowded Saturday's are here, I wouldn't have gone.
This farm is really nice. We could pick plums pears apples. It opens at 10:30am~5:30pm. Have a nice day at Applebarn Pumpkin!!
