What an amazing experience! Our guide today was great! She showed us all the different types of raptor wingspans and talons. We then got a tour of the facility and saw all the raptors they had in captivity and how they were unable to survive in the wild. We got to hold an American Kestrel at the end!

We absolutely love Mountsberg! This amazing conservation area is great all year round. We have had the pleasure of private tours (pre-COVID) scavenger hunts with Santa, maple syrup taffy, the play barn (pre-COVID) sleigh rides, and all of the other wonderful activities Mountsberg has to offer, it is time well spent, alone or with the family, you will not be disappointed!

The Mountsberg Raptor Center is located within the Mountsberg Conservation Area. The center allows you to see many raptors that are indigenous to Ontario up close and personal along a self guided tour. Special paid programs allow for a true beak to nose experience. The center is located within the Mountsberg conservation area which is just south of the Guelph Line exit and west of Campbelleville. There is a fee to enter the park but the fee allows you to visit all 7 of the Halton Conservation Areas including Crawford Lake (Iroquois Village) Rattlesnake Point (Camping and Great Views) Mount Nemo (Great Hikes, Rock Climbing, Spelunking) Hilton Falls (All Season Trails) and Glen Eden (Skiing and Mountain Biking) and Mountsberg.

Learned a lot about raptors and birds of prey. The trails are very nice and well kept. There are also smaller trails which lead out into the forest. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone who likes learning about birds of prey. Side note: at the railroad crossing there has door marked with a sign to open it. You'll have to cross this track to reach most of the trails.

Not your ordinary Conservation area. Kids loved the birds of prey and hiking to see the horses and Bison. Hidden gems for sure. Only thing is that it is not really a good place to frequently visit.

I have visited many times and always have an excellent experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and know the birds well. The raptors are awesome and well cared for. This is a great learning experience for both children and adults. We learn the negative impact humans can have on these beautiful birds via habitat loss, pesticides, illegal hunting, auto collisions and illegal captivity. We can make a positive impact through conservation, education and awareness.

It was an informative experience. We learned a lot while we were there. Lana our guide was wonderful and answered any questions we had. We were able to have a hawk sit on our gloved hand. We did pay extra for that, but it was worth every penny.

Great place to feed the mosquitos if you hate repellent. Go nature, Go! Other than that...great wild birds in a rehab/zoo environment. Some saved from becoming road kill, some injured in other ways. Others were just fine and gorgeous on display. They all enjoyed the visits some posed for pictures. Staff, where? Peace of mind. Loved it.

Went for an hour hike on well groomed flat trail then visited the Raptors. Each bird is a rescue and has a Sign explaining each birds history. Spent way more time there then we first expected. Great learning experience.

Just discovered this place and have gone twice in a week!! We love to see the animals and learn about their tragic past. The kids really enjoyed the play barn and seeing the horses. Mapletown was closed when we went, sadly.

This is a gem! So happy we went. You need to book your time slot in advance and you will get a email with your ticket. Fram animals, outdoor play area, lots of birds and good trails! Stop and have a picnic and go to the gift shop and get a stuffed animal for the little ones! Washrooms available and lots of parking.

We took our toddler here who loves owls and we had such a great time. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, so many different raptors, and great shows where both my husband and I learned something about the various raptors. Fatter checking out a show and all the birds, we walked down the road/path to see to bison and then our son enjoyed playing in the old tractor and hay bales and the super cool playground in the barn. We noticed they had a large body of water at the back where people were fishing. There is a cute little gift shop and clean bathrooms inside. Great little hidden gem for a great price!

Great time with the kids (8,6,5). Enjoyed the outdoor raptor center, horses, goats, and especially the hens. Great washroom facilities and quite a few outdoor picnic tables for byo snacks or lunches. Nice gift shop too, we enjoyed the small birds of prey stuffies with sound effects.
