Wow. It is so wow they have many things to do there. I suggest to go in the fall because that is when they have the spooky wagon ride (night for adults and older children day for kids). They have 4 mazes 1 maze is better in the spring and summer. They also have a spooky maze (fall). And a haunted village also fall. They have a petting zoo and a playground right beside the petting zoo. My daughter and her class loved it there. I went back another weekend with my daughter and a friend. We had a blast.

Great Halloween fun, even despite a modified production for 2020

Went here for their Haunted Maze. The affair wasn't very scary and I'm easily frightened by strange noises in the dark. It definitely needs more actors or scarier elements if "haunted" is really what they're going for. Otherwise, it's probably a good time for a family with children. The actors generally keep 3 feet away from people. For $28, you go through various stops on the farm, which also includes a wagon ride through their forest trails. It can get rather damp, so I'd bring shoes that you don't mind getting muddied. Many of their exhibits involved flashing lights and rooms that spin (not good if you've got vertigo).

Great fun for the whole family! It was very well set up. IF you have a family member that is epileptic, there are strobe lights in the Fog Maze (beginning to end) and the wagon ride has some as well. Wait times for the wagon ride can be long so, bundle up. Very enjoyable!

I absolutely love this place! The staff work tirelessly to make sure everything is as it should be for their customers, even right down to the tiniest weeds in the spooky village. I haven’t seen another place where the staff are so passionate about what they do, they put the heart and soul into everything that goes on there. Takes a lot of hard work, long hours and some serious elbow grease to keep a place like that running tip top. From pruning the trees for apple picking, gardening the pumpkins, family fun day activities , and of course the AMAZING Acres of Terror! The four main attractions for the Spooky season all on its own is a lot of work, and those amazing people put in a immeasurable amount of work in to it. Rain or shine! It’s amazing establishment full of amazing people, and amazing harvest season, amazing entertainment and family fun activities! 110% 10/10 from me!

We've been there a few times in the fall. We LOVE it! Kids have a blast enjoying the mazes and being spooked, and I love the apples and the fudge. Great way to spend a nice fall day. Haven't made it in for the escape fun yet but we are hoping to try that out as well. Highly recommend that your family makes a trip here!

This orchard is a must visit if you live in the Ottawa area. They have three pumpkin patches where you can pick you own pumpkin, they give you clippers and a wheelbarrow to bring your pumpkin back in, and make sure you know how to get to the field with the most pumpkins. You can also just buy a pumpkin. They have really big and fun mazes, lots of kids activities, a haunted area at night and so much more. They even make fresh fudge! The customer service is great. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Great experience!

Drove 45 minutes to pick pumpkins and there weren't any good pumpkins to pick. All of them had been taken from the field and brought to the shop. If you're going to advertise pumpkin picking you should at least make sure there are pumpkins to pick.

I visited the acres of terror twice this haunting season. The first time was during the day due to having young children. They claimed it to be no fear. It was still on the scary side for young kids. I bought tickets to attend the evening Scare fest as I was very excited, due to the fact the daytime was scary. I thought the night time event would be a very scary time. I must say I was very disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. It wasn't scary at all. You did get a few jump scares, but not anymore than the day time. So is the evening worth the more money. I would say no. I must congratulate them on their tour guides through the orchard. They are incredible! Their distancing measures where incredible and well planned!

We went to Cannamore Orchard Acres of Terror this evening as a family and had a wonderful time. My husband and I brought our 2 boys (ages 9 and 10) and we all loved it! The boys were definitely spooked but in a good way! Hats off to the Orchard for handling the circumstances of COVID so well. They made us feel safe and it was very well set up. Special shout out to our tour guide Delilah the witch - she did an amazing job!

It was first time there for my family and friend and it was really bad and disappointed experience. The Orchard had total disaster and chaos at purchase and each activities. At pedal car, people just cut in line regularly and the staff did not say anything. When I stand up and try to ask those people to stop cutting line, and started arguing with me saying everybody was doing it. The staff/volunteer was silent the whole time. there are also other activities with no sign for line up or requirement for bracelet and it was total chaos. I witnessed a group of ten people got kicked out for cow car ride after 30 mins in line because one kid did not have bracelet, they have to get in line to purchase and go back to line up again for the ride. I tried to talk to the manage 3 times and only he had time on the 3rd time and he replied with "En, En, sorry, yes, yes", literally 5 words. No any showing or sense of apology!!! We drove like 1 hour each way for the weekend family fun but ends up with really bad experience, compared to other orchard near Ottawa Valley. ( I think this is the worst). We would definitely will avoid this orchard in the future and want to warn others that maybe there are other better options for orchard and farm in the area unless there is any improvement from management to operation.

Had a great time at Cannamore. There was a small and quick moving line at the start to prepay for the apple picking. Staff were friendly and directed us where we needed to go. The Cow Train, Wagon Ride, Mazes, Pedal Cars & play area were a hit with the kids. Access to the activities was $13/person (kids 4 and under were free).

It was the first time I was here during the day, but from the very beginning to the end it was the whole day of being in line. We arrived at 12:40 and spent 35 minutes just to buy a ticket, then it was 45 minutes!!! waiting in line for a cow ride (only 15 people can ride at the same time), then 32 minutes for another tractor ride ????????‍♀️. Therefore, when it's already 15:00 and everyone is hungry, you have 20-30 minutes to rest a little and have lunch. Thus, after a rest, you have only 1.5 hours for 3 large mazes, pedal cars, a playground... the farm closes at 17:00, and the staff is not allowed to see anyone there even at 17:05. A rude woman from the staff in a VERY impolite form, waving her hands towards the exit, said that "it's time for you to move in that direction," because she had already sat at work for as much as 5 minutes. This is the first farm when I see so huge lines for all kinds of activities… Guys, why don't you have a limit on the number of tickets sold if you can't properly provide the service?

We went on September 16th 2017. Our goal was to pick apples not to entertain small children. The apples were all spotted and the trees did not look cared for, The staff could not tell us if the particular apples were ready to be picked and there were no staff anywhere near the orchard. We had questions but unless you wanted to do activities with small children their was no knowledgeable staff. Very dissapointed ended up leaving and going to another orchard,

Such an amazing place to go during the Halloween season. I have been going here since I was very young, nearly peeing myself during all the attractions. Even now, as a 19 year old, I can comfortably say I still get freaked out! It should definitely be noted that during the day time things are a lot more toned down and geared down for children, (Definitely a great family outing, wheelchair accessible) but at night it really picks up. I know people tend to complain about lines, but I've always found that the lines made me stand on my toes while I heard shrieks from inside!!! Great management, amazingly respectful and helpful staff, and just about the best damn fudge in the world. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I loved it! I used to visit acres of terror every year before the virus. This year was the first time i have been in two years. Even after visiting before, i still got spooked and fully enjoyed myself! The actors are students or adults raising money for a good cause, and they're all so good at staying in character! Everyone's so friendly - unless their character isn't meant to be. If they aren't, then they're extremely witty! I loved the experience, even in the pouring rain! Thank you so much Canamore for the other night. I love the place and your staff!

Such a fun farm to visit with the family. There are four mazes with varying degrees of difficulty. They have a pick your own pumpkin patch for those who want to, and they also have a very wide selection of pre-picked pumpkins out front. They have you pick it strawberries, apples, and pumpkins throughout the year. There is a gift shop where you can get maple syrup, apples, candy, fresh chocolate fudge and more! Summer weekends at the Orchard look fantastic. With farm animals, wagon rides, mini paddle cars, and a great play area this is surely abgreay family outing. In October this magnificent farm transforms into a farm of terrors. Not for the faint of heart, they have a fog maze, haunted house, haunted wagon ride, and more. All are staged with live actors, you're sure to be in for a scare. Tickets are $20 per person during the day and $25 during the evening. Beware you're in for a blast! The staff there is amazing. I believe we encountered the farm owners whole there. They are charming, funny, and will go out of their way to ensure you have a great time. It was worth the drive from Ottawa!!! Next time I fly over I'll get some pictures for you!

Went yesterday with my cousin! It was still a lot of fun despite the new rules and regulations because of covid. I've been previous years (before covid) and always enjoyed the fortune teller, so I was a bit sad to see she wasn't there. Spooky wagon ride was fun and I had a few jump scares but sometimes you would see a building you'd go by and get excited to be scared but nothing would happen.

Great for younger kids. Two tractor pulled rides, play area, pedal cars and apple picking. $13 to get a "ride pass" for unlimited tractor rides, but kids under 4yo ride free. Apple picking was plentiful and very reasonably priced. Lots of apple varieties available, depending on when you visit in the season. Only concern was they didn't seem to encourage/enforce distancing the day we were there, or require masks anywhere except in the little shop.

For 32$ seems like I got half the experience that ppl mentioned. I feel every night ppl should have the same experience. As in spooky or haunted . If your 15 and under. Or a family this would be the spot . If you don't want your kids to have nightmares and just have fun . The guide I had was amazing I don't remember her name but she mentioned she was 5.2 . Had a fun time with my young family at the Orchard. The place was a little bit disorganized - there wasn't clear signage/instructions when we arrived explaining where to go or what there was to do. We got our activity bracelets at the store (kids under 4 are free!) and that allows you to take part in the wagon ride and cow train (so fun for kids - and adults too!). Again, it could have been clearer where to line up for each of these and how long the wait would be. The wagon does a continuous loop around the farm so you can hop on and off. Although you can also just stroll around. There was pick your own pumpkins (earlier in the season there was apple picking and in summer, strawberries). There are also multiple hedge mazes - we only did one which was supposedly the easiest, still found it tricky! But fun. Its a lovely property. All in all a great way to spend a few hours with tour family, and lots of fun for kids. Seemed to be mostly stroller friendly although if the ground is wet it could get muddy. If you want to go on the wagon ride I suggest baby-wearing your infant. Grab some yummy treats at the store on your way home!

The atmosphere upon arrival is very confusing and chaotic, as there is no staff guiding new visitors where to go for their desired activity. I drove from Ottawa to visit their pick-your-own pumpkin patch, only to turn around and go home after the lady at the counter said it is closed this year... Although the website does not mention anything about a closure. Extremely deceiving and disappointing.

The Escape Maze at Cannamore Orchard, more correctly termed an Escape Labyrinth, lacks the polish of more sophisticated competitors like Tick Tock Escape and Escape Manor, but distinguishes itself with a multi-room experience with a couple of novel twists. The rooms have enough decor pieces to create atmosphere, but keep it spartan enough not to bury the puzzles in a mountain of red herrings. Many puzzles are familiar staples (find a four-digit number for the combination lock, et c.) but the very first and last elements of the experience were particularly imaginative. Using mainly some old furniture, a few corny Hallowe'en props, a lot of lumber and plywood, and their knowledge of haunted-house trickery from Hallowe'ens past, Cannamore Orchard has made their debut entry into the Escape-The-Room field a fun and satisfying one. Since the Escape Maze is presumably a seasonal attraction that will be dismantled come November, I have great anticipation for next year's effort.

Visited the Acres of Terror this evening, with my husband, sister, and friend. We had an AWESOME time. I found the actors to be scary, and everything was so well put together. In particular, the wagon ride was very fun, longer than I expected, and definitely spooky! The House of Terror was aptly named, as I left there with my heart pounding and throat hoarse from screaming. It was such a wonderful attraction, the staff were awesome, and friendly (when they weren’t being terrifying) and I didn’t have any issues figuring out where to go as there are lots of helpful signs everywhere. All in all, a must-see attraction in the area!

So much fun! I loved their haunted houses, they don't send everybody in in a conga line you go in your small group so you get every scare! They did a really good job reopening under all of the covid-19 restrictions too, we booked our time and didn't have to wait in line at all.

Lovely property, friendly staff and lots of activities for kids young and old (wagon rides, corn maze and even an escape room). My complaint and the reason I am not giving a higher rating is that they seem to have a very short pick your own (pyo) apple season. When other orchards in the region still have plenty of fruit on their trees Cannamore's are typically bare. Whether this is due to their popularity, management or the fact that they don't spray their trees? Who knows? But if picking apples off a tree is your thing check their website or call ahead before you go or you might be disappointed.

My wife and I drove here to see if there were any raspberries and we were told that they don’t sell raspberries even though their website says they do, the old man argued with us and said it doesn’t. The place looks fairly run down and tired, as did the man helping us. We’ll stick to the roadside stands from now on, we didn’t leave here with a happy feeling. Apparently it's also for sale, so not sure if it's still open for business or not.

I got yelled at by a staff member for smoking on the property, and when I questioned why other people were smoking up by the garage I was told they were staff and it was their brake time. Double standard much? By the looks of things everyone here needs to take a customer service course.

Cant even give this place 1 star. We took our 5 pound dog to this place with our friends for a nice Sunday of apple picking and the owner screamed at us for having a dog. Being an outdoor establishment and an orchard we had no idea dogs weren’t allowed. There were also no signs going in saying no dogs. Without asking us nicely or advising us of their policy we were shouted at several times by the owner herself. A coworker tried to help our scenario and she proceeded to get shouted at also. Completely uncalled for, we were being extremely polite and calm. This lady was disrespectful. distraught and I would urge people not to give her their business after this encounter. She yelled at our friends too who also were trying to calmly help the situation. Go anywhere else in Ottawa for apple picking as they are not only dog friendly but actually friendly.

This place looks so promising on their website, but when we got there we were greatly disappointed. The place had old boards with nails sticking up on the ground, not something I'd want to step on or have my child(ren) playing around. The washroom is an extremely dirty portapotty that hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long. The workers were lacking in presence and organization. As it was the first time there we noticed that the entrance to the orchard was not well marked. Once inside there was no one to give us bags to put our apples in or tell us which trees to pick from. After looking around confused we managed to see a guy we hoped worked there and he told us what type of apples were up for picking. When my husband went back to the entrance to get bags they ended up giving him a butter shipping box!! We ended up getting a bag from another family (who probably got the end of the roll). At the checkout the guy there was really slow and when my husband put our bag of apples on the counter he said "where are these from?" Ummm, the orchard next to the gift shop..." It's sad cause there's so much potential but they fail on account of being unorganized and unkept. Big disappointment after driving 45 mins.

Well organized and spread out safely for Covid rules. Only negative was that they rush you through pretty fast, and some things were closed.. Likely so they can get more customers through.. We paid $100 for a family of four, would be better when Covid is over so that you can spend more time and enjoy the experience. Our escort Witch Wilma was fantastic!

Makes for an amusing evening. Went at six for the Acres of Terror, left at nine. Did the Spooky Wagon Ride, House of Horrors, Spooky Village, and the Spooky Fog Maze. The wagon ride was the high point, with the maze and house being decent as well. The village is definitely strictly for young children. As an adult, most people with a normal set of nerves won't be actually scared or surprised at any point. Less of a horror place, and more so funny in an good way. Would probably be great for teenagers and older children as a horror attraction.

Went here to pick our own pumpkins as their website stated we could. Drove 2.5 hours only to be told rudely that during the Halloween activities you can't pick pumpkins. This day in age its so vital to have correct and accurate info on your website as people rely on it. Such a waste of a day.

I don't exactly want to write a bad review but we were a little disappointed to have driven 30 minutes to pick our own pumpkins and told they only do pumpkin picking until 12 (I guess the tractor does their spooky ride in the afternoon...??). Didn't really get to experience anything because we left to go elsewhere but they should probably put the hours of pumpkin picking on their website.

Parking was easy, lots of spots and well organized. We found it a little tricky to find where to go to pick apples and asked only to be told that we were in the orchard so anywhere... not exactly helpful when you are looking for direction on where to actually pick the apples. It would have been nice to have some better signage on where to go and what apples were ready for picking. The apples themselves were quite tasty, but I'll be completely honest I have no idea what apples we actually came home with. Overall decent place, but likely would not go back.

Went last night and my car was broken into in their very poorly lit parking lot. When I asked to speak with their Security I was told they don't have Security. I question the safety of everyone attending this place and plan to contact the Police and Ministry of Safety to find out why a place this size does not have proper Security in place.

We had a blast at their haunted acres event! Even in the rain we had a wonderful time on the spooky wagon ride, their house of horrors, fog maze, and haunted village. They even had a little well priced cafe at the exit for their delicious apple cider, hotdogs and other snacks. Would highly recommend!

Lots of things to do with the family! Only downfall was waiting in the long line up for the cow train, just to see more adults on it than children. My poor 3 year old thought we would be in the next round but more adults were squeezed into the cow carts than children so we had to wait another 20 minutes for our turn. Other than that, the ambience is great and the staff are super friendly!

Not sure whats changed this year but our Strawberry experience was less than desirable. Staff were super rude and blamed us for not knowing that the lack of rain had diminished their strawberry crop. We drove 1.5 hours to get here and were treated very poorly. I don't know how a place like this stays in business with such rude Management.

I went with the individuals I work with who have physical disabilities and are in wheelchairs. We called first to confirm if the grounds were wheelchair accessible. We were told they were. We first did the wagon ride which was amazingly done and accessible. There was a steep ramp but with 2 people one pushing and one pulling it worked well! Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. When we went through the rest of the place we had some struggles. The house of terror was a bit of a different story. The hallways were very narrow and their feet kept hittting the walls and getting stuck turning the corners. If the path was wider it would have been more accessible. Same with the other areas. There were large gaps and lips near ramps where a wheelchair would get stuck. Smaller wheelchairs might be okay but larger ones are quite difficult. Accessibility wise I wouldn't say it's 100% accessible but definitely a great place to visit.

There’s a big lack of organization at this farm. I was dealing with a fellow via their Facebook page who was very helpful in getting me information about their Halloween stuff for my scout group. My messages then went unanswered on Facebook so I sent an email and which further went unanswered for days and then a reply from the owner telling me to wait for a sale, but no info or dates on the sale. Customer service is lacking here, luckily I received a well detailed response from Skreamer Farm.

It wasn't great and definitely not for adults. The wagon ride was the highlight and the woman playing the witch/guide was very good. Kudos to her. The kids running the haunted house need to be more understanding that people may get confused and stop to gather their bearings. At some point the yelling at us stopped being part of the fun and just felt hostile. An actor started chatting to the other actors before we turned the corner and it kind of ruined the atmosphere. Spooky village was any but spooky but the person in the vampyre house was very into her character. The fog maze was very foggy to the point that it was difficult to breathe but it was fun and there were a few times we couldn't see anything in front of us so it really added to the experience. Overall, not worth $30 and the students who run some of the attractions should receive more guidance or have more supervision. I know they're kids and they're funding their trip to New York, but people are paying a lot for a spooky experience so a little effort would be nice.

The scariest thing about this place was the porta potties. Charming, but more for kids. They have students working the events so cannot be too harsh, just was expecting more. Spooky wagon ride was kinda slow as well, but again this place is great for kids less so for teens or adults looking for a scare

I did the escape maze last year, I loved how it had different rooms you had to work through, we were so close to the end but didn't make it out ???? It was definitely fun though! I also went another time and brought my 6 year old son at night and he had a blast, fun for the whole family! Looking forward to trying the new escape maze this year!

My family and friends went tonight for Fright Night, first time . I read the home page and followed the advice ! We got there Early and checked out the grounds and got tickets and snacks which help when your waiting in line, but being early we didn’t have to wait long! First group on the wagon ride (Do that first)and the witch Winifred, Our host..was amazing and I would def go back just to see her too!

WOW! We're we ever amazed by this Orchard. We first checked this place out during their apple season, the orchard is a beautiful peaceful place. Their apple cider, pies and fudge are to die for! While we were there we learnt about their Haunted Hay Ride in October which we returned for. We'd only every been to Saunders Farm as that is the talk of Ottawa all the time. We were shocked that we'd never heard of Cannamore's Halloween stuff, its was AMAZING!!! We saved so much money by going here, we spent less time standing in lines and we were thrilled by the extra little touches; narrated wagon's by real humans, lots of scenes on the wagon ride, it had been raining a bit that night so they have us little carpet mats to sit on, the chase car that shot flames out of the hood was very cool. The haunted house was very very scary, and was also put on by local high school students, we never would've known, they were terrifying! The Village was very unique, there were 8-10 different themed houses, with various actors, the Coffin Maker was very creepy and we also had our Fortunes told. 10 star experience, I'll be telling all my friends about this place, and so should you!

Called to ask if apples were ready yet and was rudely told that they are never ready until late August. I then started to read all the other reviews before posting this one and it seems that customer service and being polite and helpful is a struggle for this business. I called Mountain Orchards next and my phone call was handled 100 times better and they were way more friendly and helpful. I’ll be going to Mountain Orchards to pick my apples this year.

Our group is for person with disabilities and one of their staff Kerry really took his time to explain how they make their Halloween attraction accessible for wheelchairs. We can't wait to come visit you guys this year! We've been looking for a place to go for a long time, Saunders is too expensive and isn't wheelchair accessible.
