We offer you the feddbacks of real people like you who consumed the products and services of Maplewood Farm (Zoo) in the area close to British Columbia (Canada).
Now this business gets a score of 4.5 stars over 5 and that rating was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is virtually the highest, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we may think that the assessment is quite credible. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Zoo belongs to the category of Farm.
Brought our 4yr old nephew here. He loved the cows ! The goats seemed sad though, not thrilled with all of the people around ? Is that normal.. ? Good experience overall .
Good for an outing with the kids if you are stuck in entertainment. Bit over priced for what it is, if it was larger or there were more hands on activities for the kids to entertain them I think it would really improve the experience.
I loved the experience and so did my daughter.
Great place to spend the day with kids.
My four year old daughter loves visiting here. It is nice to have an activity like this on the north shore so we don't have to cross any bridges.
This cute little farm is well maintained. Easy access for wheel chairs. They have a variety of animals as you’ll expect in farm. Great Place to visit with kids as a day trip.
It is a fun place especialy for kids. My kids had fun there.
Great place for young children
If you are a local, you probably came here on an elementary school field trip but didn't recall how great it was until you came again as an adult - at least that's how it was for me. What a fun way to spend a couple of hours with farm animals within the city - be it with your kids, your friends, your friends kids, friends friends, or even a tinder date. Hope you like it.
Loved the farm visit with my first grade kid and his classmates on their field trip.Kids got to know lot about farm animals. My son especially loved the Peacock and Peahen.Kids loved feeding the animals.
The goats are a big hit!
I visited here with family and little kids, while the kids enjoyed it for the most part the adults just found it okay. The animals all looked very sad and depressed, the staff were nowhere to be seen when we came in. Upon walking around the couple of staff that we did see, just ignored the visitors and didn’t say hi or anything. I wouldn’t go back, and found the whole place depressing.. I know this is a staple on the north shore, but I was disappointed all the way around.
Small farm with animals for the kids to learn from.
They take great care of the animals.
Great place for kids to interact with animals
Great spot for the kids in the middle of the city.
Fun petting zoo, but not too many options for animals. Make sure to buy the birdseed to feed the ducks and chickens
Great for the kids
Lost to see & great for the kids
Great for toddlers
My family had a few hours left to spare on a warm Wednesday afternoon. My mom opened her map and saw "Maplewood Farm" - it sounded interesting, so I did a search on Yelp and read some great reviews. So we hoped into our car and headed for Maplewood Farm. Going to the farm was definitely a highlight of my trip to Vancouver. We got there around 1:30 PM (the farm closes at 4), and still had plenty of time to wander around. Only my sister and I went into the farm (it was $7.25 for adult admission and $4.50 for child admission). If you check into Maplewood Farm on Yelp, you get a free bag of birdseed! My sister and I both checked in and got two big bags of birdseed (which sells for $3/bag). The farm itself isn't too big. There are horses, cows, miniature donkeys, pigs, goats, sheep, a new baby calf, bunnies, birds, peacocks, roosters, guinea pigs, and lots and lots of ducks! If you love animals (especially interacting with them), you'll love Maplewood Farm. There was only a few other families besides my sister and me, so we basically had the farm to ourselves. We pet the bunnies, took pictures with the cows and horses, talked to the miniature donkeys, had the goats rub their heads against our legs, fed the ducks by the small pond ... it was incredibly fun. The animals are well taken care of and there are name plaques by their station. While we walked through the farm, we saw the farmhands and helpers working with the animals. When my sister and I were looking at the cows, one of the farm workers walked behind us and told us that we were taking a picture of Sofie and I could tell by the way her head quickly snapped up that she recognized her. The best part was feeding the ducks! I noticed there was another bigger pond towards the back of the farm (where you cross a small bridge to get to it) and I was blown away by the breathtaking view of the pond. A great date spot if you ever want a romantic view and somewhere to just talk! We fed the ducks and took lots of pictures. And because we stayed until closing time, we had the privilege of seeing the animals be led back into their stables/homes and fed their dinner. Some picnic benches if you want to eat, and I know they have yearly passes where you can drop by and visit the animals from time to time as well. A small playground on the outside of the farm. Lots of sinks and hand sanitizing stations, and even a shoe cleaner near the entrance of the farm! tl;dr if you love animals, you have to check out Maplewood Farm! A great place for children and even adults! Well worth the money. Check in on Yelp for a free bag of birdseed!
It was a great experience, I was there for my niece's Birthday. If your kids like chasing chickens and petting goats and other farm animals, this is your jam!
Peaceful and cute place.
Great family outing
Great place to yake your family
Fun family outing.
It was heart breaking watching these poor parrots in cages, cages are small and undoubtedly birds aren't living a good life.
It is a very nice place especially for kids to get close to farm animals
You can never go wrong with a petting zoo. The zoo was shockingly clean. The goats were super friendly, and there were plenty of ducks to feed
Decent selection of critters for kids to view! (And petting goats, feedings ducks etc.) Bring your own duck feed... (COVID)
Interesting place, came here with the little kid. Goats, it seems like every 'petting zoo' has goats. They must be easy to keep or something. Anyways, there's a lone cow I think, and a few other creatures to see. There's a place to go into and see rabbits and pet them. I was there with my 2 year old and spent 3 hours easily wandering all over the place. Nominal entrance fee.
Great place for everyone! Cheap admission, giany goat pit to hang out in, gorse rides, petting animals besides the birds♡ be cautious about animals biting * pet at your own risk* you can even have your birthday here! And they are only closed on christmas day! 10am till 4pm ♡
Staff is friendly. The animals is good..not much to see and rather small but if u have a toodlers it will be fun. U can feed the duck, ride the pony and have a birthday party for your kids.
(Translated) It is good for children. I think they could include more varied food. (Original) Es bueno para niños. Creo que podrían incluir comida más variada.
Always a great time!
Good place for family (include baby) and education
Free parking. You can buy seeds to feed birds. They show how to milk cow. A lot of goats that you can play with. Love the experience!
Wonderful place for the little ones, well run and always fun
Had my daughters birthday here under the gazebo. It was perfect. Great staff and reasonable prices.
I visited Maplewood Farm through a tourism challenge. I enjoyed myself. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of different animals to see. Some animals are shy while others are attention seekers. Great place for a day trip with the kids. Lots to learn and interact with.
Great place for kids! Lots of cute animals. Love the goats and sheep, super adorable! Whole farm is clean, well maintained, and you can spend one hour here without even realizing it! Highly recommended!
So much fun
Great for kids... of all ages. ????
amazing. great place to for kids of all ages. im looking at you, grandma & grandpa.! seriously the pygmy goats are hilarious & so adorable... yet extremely mischievous all at the same time. they will try to nimble & eat away at anything u got. be it shoelaces, your sleeve, purse, coat. if it's within reach of their mouths then they want to take a. taste test. it's actually quite funny but if you have little ones then i want u to forewarned. you might want to keep an eye out - especially on the new young pygmys that are welcomed to the farm every year around baby season. haha. they're the worst offenders. but they make up for it when they put on a show for you and start to play fight. they stand right up on their hind legs - staring one another down - then they bash their little bitty baby horns into one another.! the cows are great. Lima, the jersey cow, she's a little more reserved & shy. but the other cows like to be petted & scratched. a couple of times the staff have allowed me to use their brushes (obviously designated for the animals) that they keep in the staff barn, so that I could give them a good brushing. but I go out of my way. I freaking LUV cows.! PS... they are SO BIG that the little ones may be intimidated by their size but trust me.... they never bite. they are super gentle, luvable giants.! make sure to buy some seed at the front entrance when u get there so u can feed the ducks & never bring outside food for the animals. it's a big no no.! don't miss the demonstration on goat milking in the early afternoon. it's at 130 I think.! don't quote me on that. horse back rides (sorry adults - for the kids only) on weekends. bring a packed lunch because they have tables & benches outside (plus covered ones) & even a brand new eating area inside. don't miss going for a relaxing walk around the serene, tranquil pond they have on the opposite side of the property. super friendly & knowledgeable staff. FYI they are closed on mondays.
Went with my kids ages 4-12. They all had an enjoyable time. Especially feeding chickens and petting the bunnies. There wasn’t much staff available to ask questions once in the farm but other than that, clean bathrooms, and enjoyable space. Will return :)
Adorable Livestock, friendly staff. A overall great time to be had by one and all!
Great petting zoo for the kids.
It's a PETTING ZOO! The goats are so chill.
Every visit equals another amazing family experience. Thank you
Kids loved spending time with rabbits, goats and ducks. Cow milking was a new thing to watch live. Overall - A great experience.
I have been to Maplewood Farms three times and enjoyed myself. They have an on-site gift shop with snacks.
Awesome farm, perfect for spending some time with you children! Goats are so peaceful, you can touch them or play with them
Great place for taking young grandchildren.
Always a big hit wiith our kids! They love to see all the animals, but their favourites are the bunnies, as they LOVE to feed them. Tip of the day, if you want the bunny to eat, don't bring carrots, bring something green! They also love hanging out with all the goats! Beautiful spot, with a lovely path around the outside to feed the rest of the ducks.
Great little place to spend an hour or two with kids! Personnel is trying hard to keep the area in decent shape. Good number of animals.
It has farm animals you can pet. Cutie little bunnies you can pet. What's not to like?
It's a great place for kids.
(Translated) Very beautiful. (Original) Muito linda.
The kids had an amazing time, even with the little sprinkle we experienced
If you're wearing shorts at the farm watch out for the goats. They'll chew off your leg hair when your not looking.
A nice place for kids where they can have a beautiful experience with animals
This used to be one of my favorite places to take the kids... however the covid rules have removed all the fun from visiting... most animals locked in their enclosures.
Good size family friendly farm that has all the animals you expected to see in a farm.
So many goats. If you love goats, you should definitely get some more goats in your life. Maplewood Farm = A+ for goat
Really nice place for family
My toddler loved seeing all the animals, tip for those that want to feed the rabbit. Bring something other than carrots... I think everyone does and the rabbit is bored (see my photos). We brought a few branches of basil and they perked up from their slumber to eat them.
Good place to take the kids. Plenty of spots for picnic
Half the cages were empty the day we went but good engagement experience with the goats
Lots of bugs, but in general a very nice place.
nice farm for kids, very reachable from the city
My first time visiting maple wood farm as an adult, with my 1 year old. Happy it wasn't busy! It was neat being close and interactive with animals. On a sad note it was hard seeing the animals look bored, but the warm weather might have been a factor. Happy to see the hand washing stations they had set up.
Smallish but a pleasure to visit. Get the bird seed and have a blast with the ducks/chickens
Book for your time slot. Big parking lot with child's play area. Lots of animals like horses, sheep, goats, cows, ducks, pigs, lamb, chickens, and so on. Currently, can only feed the rabbit unless you bring your own bird seeds. Petting area for goats. Unless you come early, don't expect to feed the rabbit. Lol. It's being fed by kids every few minutes.
Friendly cows and goats and bunnies and staff and lovely little pond. Easy to bring snacks and hang out for hours. Awesome for kids and even moody teenagers.
(Translated) Maplewood Farm is great for going with young children. It is a small farm where the little ones can feed the shoes, play with the rabbits, watch the horses run ... There are picnic areas, toilets and changing tables for babies. Don't forget to bring something to eat as they don't have a cafeteria :) Right after leaving the farm there is a playground that if it wasn't gravel it would be great! No te olvides llevar algo para comer ya que no tienen cafetería :) Justo al salir de la granja hay un parque infantil que si no fuera porque es de gravilla sería genial!
Great place to take toddlers, you can pet the very friendly goats. They also have rabbits, chickens/roosters, cows, pigs and ponies/horses and others.
Great place to visit, they even have pigs here!
Best farm family day ever! Love the ???? We will be friends
Great way to spend a Sunday morning with the family. Bring health snacks for the chickens, ducks, rabbits, and guinea pig's.
Smaller farm with well kept animals. The goat petting zoo can be a lot of fun for little ones and birthday parties there are always enjoyable.
Fun petting zoo, only thing not many people are wearing masks...nor are any of the staff. Aside from that, fun place to kill an hour or so with the kids
Amazing place to take kids, lots of animals to see
Nice place to go with kids.
A classic place to take your kids to!
Fun family petting zoo, great for toddlers and small kids. Lovely trails around duck pond/stream. Good spaces indoors and out for kids birthday parties. Not a full zoo, but for it's size a great petting zoo. Would recommend for families and children. PS they have goat yoga sessions too for those who are inclined to do downward dog with a Billy goat.
(Translated) We were with the family we liked. COWS AND GOATS ARE THE BEST! Two rabbits are not enough for the farm. I wanted to see flowers on the farm (flower beds) And then there it’s somehow sad. (Original) Были с семьёй нам понравилось. КОРОВЫ И КОЗЫ ЭТО ЛУЧШЕЕ! Два кролика это мало для фермы. Хотелось видеть на ферме цветы(клумбы) А то там как то грустно.
Make a reservation!!!! Always wonderful to see animals and walk in the river!
We had such a fun time at Maplewood farm today! What a treat for the girls right we parked the car and a cool playground just right there so they had some fun time before visited the farm. Perfect spot right in town, the girls were so excited to see such cute animals there. Had chances to be close to them. We walked on the trail behind and saw really big fishes, we were so excited.. hehehe.. And I saw you can have birthday party there, kinda nice. Definitely happy time for us today so as the sign said "If you enjoyed your experience, tell your friends. So here I am.. Highly recommend!
(Translated) Ideal to go with family. (Original) Ideal para ir en familia.
A very good place for kids
This is one of the best place for families with small kids. Lots of things to do. Different animals like horse, goats, chicken, cows and many more. Direct animal interaction for kids. Thanks Maplewood Farms
Very small. Okay for younger kids. Not sure the animals like it.
Very good place to bring your childs to be familiar with farm animals. They can play with goats and rabits and feed them. There are even a picnic place there. I saw some old animals even older than me! (More than 40 years old)
Great place to see the animals you wouldn't normally encounter.
Great place to take kids.
We had a wonderful experience with social distancing. My daughter had a wonderful time seeing all the different animals.
It was rather clean and well managed (Covid protocol). It was safe the the children to roam in the farm.
Awesome farm and lots of animals to see. Love that you are able to go in some of the pens and pet the animals like the rabbits and goats. Great place to have a children’s birthday party too! Fair admissions prices. The animals seemed to be very well fed and plump.
Small but cosy farm which is great for small childeren
I only found out this place existed a couple weeks ago... A great place to spend the day with kids and family... Lots of great animals and my favorite goats!
Great little farm! There was a bit of construction when we there (Sept 2021), but still lots of fun with our 2yo. Beautiful layout and plenty of animals.
Took my 5 year old and he loved it. Big enough to spend a couple hours but not overwhelming. Nice staff, animals were well-kept.
This place used to be beautiful. However, it looks run down now.
One of the best things about the birth of my grandkids was that I could start going back to Maplewood Farm. A truly lovely place.
Always love this cute little farm. Kids especially love the animals they can feed and pet.
I love this farm!!! There are so many adorable creatures here. I especially loved the goat petting area! The goats were adorable and were like dogs ???? There were also cows, horses, pigs, bunnies, and ducks ???????? I saw a super fluffy cute bunny but didn’t pet him because he was sleeping and didn’t want to disturb him ???? there was also a cow milking demonstration but I didn’t watch it because I was too distracted by the goats. Going here will make your whole week 120% better ????????????????????
Tania is an amazing Landscape Artist that I have had the pleasure of knowing for the past 30 years. She is hard-working, creative and talented in her craft. Check out her designs!! I believe they speak for themselves.
Getting young children close to nature is what Maplewood Farm is all about.
It's a really nice place. Good for kids. The animals are very friendly. You can even feed rabbits.
Family friendly place
Nice spot for the family. During COVID time, you have to call ahead to reserve a time. It’s not crowded at all because of the reservation system. They have hand sanitizer stations throughout the farm and lots of hand washing stations too. We felt safe visiting.
Great place for the family to walk around the farm and take a lunch
A family friendly place for children to see and pet some animals. The bird feeding area was nice and the goats are pretty hilarious.
great for a short weekend trip with the little ones
Liked seeing the guy milk the goat
Nice place for kids. Maybe a little expensive.
The whole point of taking photos is so that I don't have to explain with words.
Good place for kids! Book in advance on the website for your hour visit during this time. Up to 10 guests per party. Kids loved this place. You can feed the birds, rabbits and Guinea pigs, and pet the goats. Bring your own bird seed and vegetables to feed. Definitely go earlier in the day before it starts to gets more crowded in the early afternoon. Washrooms and clean wash stations available onsite, as well as enough seating areas. There's also a nice trail that goes around the ponds and nature area.
Really cute place!
Thanks
Take the family and visit all kinds of farm animals. You can even oet and feed some of them. Be sure to read the signs to find out who and who you cant feed and pet. Been here a few times and the staff is always warm and friendly. Great place to visit whether you're a visitor or, live in the city. Be sure to check them out at least once.
Great experience, loved getting up close and personal with the goats in the actual pen. Adored the rabbits and guinea pigs. Would love to be able to hold one in my arms. The price was very reasonable too, would definitely go again. Highly recommend anyone with children to visit the farm. You won't be disappointed!
It’s good place for kids
A great place for families, young children, or anyone who enjoys an outing with animals. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff.
Great experience for kids. Need to work on their payment system; tickets aren't paid in advance so you queue for a long time waiting to get in.(covid comment)
Great place to let kids learn about animals.
It's a little farm with lots of animals just around the corner for a quick fun moment for the whole family. Very nice and cozy.
(Translated) There are sheep and goats that are not big but can be touched directly. There is an indoor laser beam surveillance gym nearby, so it's good to stop by. (Original) 크진 않지만 직접 만져보고 할 수 있는 양과 염소들이 있어 아이들이 좋아해요. 근처 도보거리에 실내 레이저빔 서바이벌 게임장이 있어서 들렀다 가시면 좋아요
Great place to visit, especially with the kids
My young daughter loves this cute little farm. Feeding the ducks is the highlight for her. Last visit we got to see a cow being milked. It's a great little break from the city without having to do a several hours long car ride. I recommend wearing rubber boots and using the boot brushes by the front gate :)
Friendly animals!
When I was a kid I used to lead ponies there every weekend, I loved being around the animals, I highly recommended this place if u have children who don't get to see farm animals often, it's nestled away from the hustle of city life. It's a little Gem!
Great for children and adults. The animals are super friendly and let you pet them quite well. My daughter loved the experience. Couldnt get enough of the ducks. Absolutely did not want to leave. Well worth the time for sure :) Will absolutely go again :)
Great place to take the kids to see some farm animals
Cute little farm. Too expensive for how little it is (activity wise)
Great hang out place for kids and families. The grounds are beautiful and makes a great half day for kids’ entertainment. There is also a little playground by the farm and kids really enjoyed the experience. The animals are fun to watch and the farms is fairly small and safe. There is a Gazebo/covered area in the middle of trees perfect for an outdoor party ???? What would make this place 5star: there was no cafe and some of the decorations were fake and plastic which could be easily replaced by more authentic decoration.
Underestimate place!! So great
Covid update Nov 19: Reserve a spot online during busy weekends. Otherwise, you're fine to drop in. 75 person capacity. Great as always, with a ton of animals and a huge pen of friendly goats to pet!
Sweet little petting farm. Spent about 2.5hours just hanging out with the super friendly pygmy goats, wandering the property, watching the ducks, rabbits, pigs, horses, cows, peacocks, chickens. Nice afternoon with the kids outdoors.
Great family fun. Plenty of animals to see and interact with. Friendly staff and fun demonstrations to watch.
Located in N. Vancouver, this is a working farm in the middle of a city! Family and kids friendly, the farm is very well maintained and run by dedicated staffs, all the animals were extremely well looked after and are all well groomed! There are also Senior rates for over 55yo! Parking is free, but on busy days, you may have to park in the overflow parking and walk a bit to the entrance!
Great place to take kids. Our kids loved the horses and if you stay to near the end you will see the animals being taken back to their stables
It was awesome a brilliant place to be specially with the goats
Good for children and animal lovers. Clean and well organised, perfect for semi-wildlife day our
The parking was TERRIBLE It was nice to be able to get in with the animals
Lovely place to take yourself and your children too. Animals are very well cared for and super tame and friendly. Had a great time with my family and 3 respite kids.
Awesome my kids had a blast
My favorite go to happy place :) The friendliest goats that you can hang out with, you cant feed them but they love to hang out regardless which is amazing. Friendly staff as well!
Great place for toddlers and babies to visit. Some areas are no longer available to the public, or have fewer animals on display compared to pre-Covid but overall lots to see and do.
Great fun for the family. Lots to look at for the kids. Friendly staff. Everyone loves the lil' goats!!
The dairy cow milking demo was cool. Other than that, the place is relatively small. Would keep kids under 3 entertained for a few hours, but older kids might be ready to go in less than one. As a comparison, Aldor Acres in Langley and Laity Pumpkin Patch in Maple Ridge have more pettable animals and other activities. A word of advice if you plan on coming here: Other than popcorn and popsicles, they don't sell human food here, so pack your own lunch and make use of the trails and picnic areas at the back of the farm. There are also a number of restaurants within a 10 minutes' drive away.
This is such a happy place. A little farm in the city!
I went there with my daughter (8 years old). The farm is nice, with a lot of animals. Is great to spend family quality time here.
Bah bah, moo! The lovely animals here taught me to speak a new language! Great for entire family.
Best petting zoo ever! Especially the goat hills!
After so many years, the farm has remained in its unchanged, authentic and special state. I’ve gone to this farm ever since I was a little kid and it’s such an awesome place for kids and adults. It’s my happy place. When everything is back to normal, kids get the chance to pet some animals, feed some birds and goats, and their parents get to relax at a farm that offers homey comfort and peace
Love this place
very good,so wonderful.
Lots of fun for my child which loves animals
good memories
A fun place for family excursions. Little ones love feeding the ducks. This is a great place for kids to learn more about farm animals. The parking is very limited.
This isn't a zoo or a petting zoo, but it is a great way to get close to real farm animals and get a glimpse of what a real farm is like.
Small friendly farm experience within the city limits, cows, horses, goats, sheep, chicken and ducks to name a few.
The animals are happy and well cared for
Very beautiful and the kids love it...lots of farm animals
Great place to bring your toddler. Pros: - it's relatively clean (for a farm) - perfect size for toddlers, it's big enough to run around and have fun but not so big that walking through it seems like a chore - plenty of animal exhibits for them to look at - nice lake with a bridge (and plenty of ducks in the lake) - cheap, with plenty of parking nearby - lots of trees, so even on hot sunny days it's comfortable Cons: - none really I'll definitely come back.
Awesome & friendly staff members. Best time to visit in the summer time.
Such a great place. You can go into most of the enclosures and pet the animals. They have a variety of farm animals and even do a milking demo a few times per day. There is great free parking and the price to get in is very reasonable.
(Translated) Very little! But very beautiful, especially for those who have children (Original) Bem pequenininho! Mas muito bonito , principalmente para quem tem criança
Fun little farm animal zoo for kids to enjoy. They also have an aviary with several different kinds of parrots.
Needs to have horseback riding. Something fun like that for kids would make it more popular. I know my kids and I would go much more.
Great place for kids.
Fun place to spend a couple hours with family. Don’t forget to buy seeds for the birds at the entrance.
Nice place for kids...
Lovely little farm. Best place to go to feed the ducks - you can purchase bird feed from the front desk and some of the ducks will eat the seeds right from your hand! There are more ducks along the back trails over the bridge (just past the ponies) The trails themselves are beautiful; a perfect place to take a break and have a little picnic. There are lots of goats that you can interact with. The cows love scritches; ask for the cow scratcher (a toy plastic rake) if you really want to make them happy. The peacocks are beautiful but a bit aggressive if you have bird feed. The rabbits are huge! You can feed the rabbits and guinea pigs if you bring some fresh washed veggies with you. They like lettuce and carrots quite a bit. The sheep are friendly and fluffy and will try to con you into feeding them bird seeds (don't do it! Sheep aren't birds) Overall it was a nice little farm. Perfect for younger children and animal lovers who aren't able to get out to the larger farms in the valley.
Wonderful place to visit. Little bit pricey though
Maplewood farm IS open on the weekends, not sure why google displays them as closed...
Great for kids
(Translated) A very sweet farm. Well taken care of It is usually full of children every day. (Original) Una granja muy dulce. Bien cuidada. Suele estar llena de niños todos los días.
Lots of fun! Bring the kids to see the animals.
Ausha was really helpful. I called to ask about the pony rides for my little daughter but there was no spots left. To my surprise, she called me back to tell me about a nearby festival that might have pony rides for my daughter to enjoy. Thank you Ausha, I am hoping I am spelling your name right!
Great place to see and pet animals. Some staff members are quite abrupt to the kids.
I love all the animals here! You can pet the goats, sheep, donkeys rabbits cows. If you love animals you definitely want to come here.
My grandpa Dirk Oostindie started the farm and it’s been run very well since! I go every once in awhile and I went today again. Great to see so many people enjoying the farm!
My grandpa Dirk Oostindie started the farm and it’s been run very well since! I go every once in awhile and I went today again. Great to see so many people enjoying the farm!
Fantastic location for kids. They have done a great job here with all the activities for children. And its really cheap in comparison to other kid spots.
Our girls (both under 3) loved seeing all the animals! Based on summer camps, part of our time was busy with kids around the goats, but otherwise didn't feel crowded. Come ready to walk and head through the back trail to see the ducks. Our kids favourites were the rabbits, chickens, ducks and the horses. A super perk is the playground outside the farm - both times we've come, it's been great to let the kids play before getting back into the car. We'll keep coming back!
(Translated) If you have one and a half hours, you can enjoy it! Spots that you can touch as much as you think of animals. I went around at 15:00 on weekdays, but I am not crowded and I am happy to touch at my own pace. What kind of zoo is around 10-15? It closes at 16 o'clock. There are ponds and benches, so you can spend leisurely. There is no souvenir shop cafe etc. The toilet is beautiful.
Great small place to take your kids. They have to extend the opening hours.
Great small place to take your kids. They have to extend the opening hours.
This is a cute, well-run, budget friendly farm fit for younger kids and young families. Affordable entry price. This farm also seems to be doing a lot too be self sustained and to be good to the environment. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Beautiful animals. Highly recommended!
Kids love it!
Fun for the whole family
Good place to take preschool children. It was a nice place to spend the morning.
I literally go JUST to hang out with the goats ????❤ To that 2 star dude down below.. this isn't a zoo. It's a family run farm. BAAH.
Good petting farm for young children. Would be nice if there’s more activities or tours for kids to learn about the farm. We went with a toddler and baby and took us less than an hour to finish.
Everything was so cute. The fact that it was so easily accessible by transit is a definite bonus.
great place for the kids and school field trips
The best! The goats are adorable :) super Zen goats.... Meditate with them.
Goats are the best!
A great place to visit with family. Price is still under ten a person and around five per kid. Lots of domesticated animals for kids to look at. While some of the cages seem small the paddocks and play areas for animals are large. They have demonstrations and special events on many days. The staff real really care about the animals and education. There is ice cream, two vegging machines and occasionally some baked goods. For the most part you will be eating off-site. There is a bookable area for children's parties. They also have purchasable food for the chickens. Parking is quickly filled on weekends but there is some limited free street parking. A really fun afternoon visit.
(Translated) Super beautiful experience. Cute animals and very clean everything! (Original) Super bonita la experiencia. Lindos animales y muy limpio todo!
Great family fun for everyone! Beautiful sunny day for all the animals to catch the sun rays, enjoy the warmth of a beautiful January day 10+, degrees!
Awesome place where you can pet cows, goats, horses, pigs and sheep. The sheep are especially friendly. Also, you can see chickens, ducks, peacocks and turkeys.
Good place for families, but go early to avoid getting stuck in the entrance line.
Kids love it
Great lfarm / petting zoo. Ducks cows pigs horses goats and all sorts of animals. Great place for kids and kids at heart. Feed the ducks whole you're there!
Great place bring kids.
Small cute farm for kids. Remember to bring spare clothes and shoes for your kids when they step on poop.
Excellent value, lots to see for the kids. Nice environment.
Our boys like it here, especially the goat petting and feeding section. It's more geared to the young though, so this might be our last trip.
Super fun!!! Children love this field trip so much!!!!!
Peacock dance, if you are lucky, is best
Nice
The kid loves it
Very cute little farm to take the kids. Very reasonably priced and perfect for a quick visit.
Great place!!! Price to enter is decent not too bad I feel. And $3 for bird food is really good considering the bag lasted us a long time. I went there once with my girlfriend and knew I had to bring the rest of my family. The fact it’s in North Vancouver is amazing I usually had to go to Langley or surrey but this is very local. All the animals are very kind and gentle. You can tell there not sad or abused because of how healthy they look and how much they love to be pet. Everything from the ducks to the cows would come up and let you pet and scratch them. The staff was very kind and helpful. I asked multiple questions the first time I went and they all answered me with smiles. I’ve seen a coupe reviews of people complaining snot smell and animal poo and to that I say. It’s a farm. Of course there’s gunna smell and poo if you want to see a toilet trains cow good luck. The place was very clean and sanitary it had many hand wash stations and sanitizers. The people there where amazing. Animals where healthy and beautiful. The pack of bird food I bought lasted so long I ended up giving them to someone els because it lasted so long. I personally love the smell. It reminds me of a farm. A farm has smell and poo I don’t understand why people are upset about this and the poo is only in the animal pens. Aside from the ducks and chickens all the animals are kept in big pens where they can roam around happy and sit all day. I have no problems with this place I’ve been there twice in the last couple months and I’ll probably be going back soon.
Very friendly goats
Little people will love it, rain or shine. Gets busy so be prepared to walk a block for parking off site.
Visiting all the animals was great. We enjoyed our visit and loved going into the goat pen!
Great place to take toddlers. Has a walk in goat petting enclosure, rabbit petting enclosure. Staff are super nice.
It had many animals and was well maintained
Great place to visit for a variety of animals. There are educational talks during the day. The goat pen is by far the neatest attraction with many goats of variable ages willing to interact and hang out with visitors.
a little small, good for really young kids (under 5)
Great place for kids and a family outing. friendly staff with a beautiful farm
A great environment for kids to see pets up close.
Always bring my kid here, you can bring your fruit or nuts to feed animals here
wonderful petting zoo for the kids.
Always a nice way to spend the day with the kids here at Maplewood Farm. Ducks, pigs, horses, cows, goats, bunnies....
Great place to take your kids even in the rain.
Nice little farm. Lots of animals you can approach and pet. Great hand washing station and clean restrooms. Friendly staff. There is a little Playground in the same parking lot which is good for getting extra energy out.
Had a great time here for my nieces birthday. Brought the whole family. It was a great cost v. Fun ratio! The animals were friendly and the staff wad fairly knowledgeable. Overall great time!
Great farm with lots for the kids to see and animals to pet.
Cute animals but couldn't hang out with goats or rabbits :(
Great small place to take your kids. They have to extend the opening hours.
Peaceful place and there is so many birds and animals
Great place. My kids like spending a lot of time here.
Great place for children, with lots of animals like goats, cows, chickens and horses. We pay enter fee 8$. You need to register in advance for arrival time. Highly recommended.
A good time for the kids but they could do so much more, eg more interactive stuff.
Nice for kids
It is a nice farm but it is really small for the price you have to pay to get inside. Kids from 18 months on have to pay as well. Plus you have to pay extra for bird seed -3$. At the most you can spend around 1 hours inside ...maybe a little more in summers. Disappointed by the size/entry fee ratio
Nice place ????
I had my great nephew with me. I live with a disability that allows me to use a support dog.i was asked to show my paperwork. I was treated with respect and kindness.
Fun place to take your family and friends on any day.
A good place for half day tour, if you have little kids
Lots of docile animals to interact with either in pens or free range. Definitely coming here again
Great place for taking young grandchildren.
Ticket reasonably priced. Has horses, ponies, arses, chickens, peacocks, turkeys, macaw, bunnies, goats, cows, sheeps, and others. Clean washrooms. Free outdoor parkade. Public playgrounds near entrance. Online reservation required. Accepts credit card. Encountered heavy traffic at 15:00 eastbound on Highway 1.
Nice little farm in the city. Good variety of farm animals. Baby enjoyed it, will definitively be back
Fantastic place to visit with family. We had a great day!
One of my son's favorite places
lots of fun, friendly goats
We went today, my son who is 19 months old and we wanted him to see the animals in person. He enjoyed every bit of the farm time we spent. The tiny goats are adorable ????. Good staffs great environment. Farm is super clean . I did not want to bother the rabbits feel like there kinda too tired by over eating and people petting. I recommend . ????????????????
Great place to get in touch with animals.
Very nicely done! Greeted by a friendly horse, then we're able to pet cows and lots and lots of goats! You can sit around at a bench by the pond and watch the ducks to take a break. There are also picnic tables in a sheltered area where you can have lunch or snacks. So peaceful and relaxing and you get your fix of petting farm animals :)
Maplewood farm is a great place to take your fam. They are always friendly and the animals seem to all be well taken care of. Not many places left that you can get up and close to the farm animals.
Great way to spend an hour with your kids among a good selection of well cared for farm animals.
The goats are fun and active. Nice place to take the kids in the city.
Fun for the kids!
We always have a lot of fun there. Small and cute farm where you can pet the goats and rabbits.
We always have a lot of fun there. Small and cute farm where you can pet the goats and rabbits.
Great place for the little ones! I love the hands on interactions with the animals!!
It's a cute farm to bring a family and spend an afternoon. There is a bunch of different animals from cows, chickens, roosters, goats, sheep and horses to name a few. Plenty of areas to sit down and enjoy a meal as well and there is a cow milking demo daily at different times as well.
Great educational farm, clean and hygiene...
So, so family friendly and easy to get to/navigate. Perfect way to spend an afternoon with young kids!
Great little farm in the middle of the city. Nice option. Try to get there for the daily milking (around 1:00pm).
A quaint animal farm nestled in the heart of North Van. A great afternoon location to take children, or a fun hour or so for a unique date.
amazing local farm kids love this place as well as adults
Cool place to hang out with kids, but the washing stations can be improved.
Always a good time for the kids. Most kids love petting bunnies, patting goats, and feeding ducks. If you or your child enjoys any of those things, you’ll love Maplewood farms
Very nice place for family and kids.
It is such a great place to visit with family and friends. This place is serving people since 1975. They have Birds, Cows, Goats, Horses, Pigs, Rabbits, Sheep, and chickens. Kids always love this place. Their ticket is 10$ for adults and 5 $ for kids. There are a lot of animals for kids. They have large paddocks and play areas for animals. They have such a great staff who take such a great care of their animals. They also have some vending machines if you want to eat or drink something. They also have commercial food for the chickens. Most of the time on the weekend it is hard to get parking. I will recommend everyone to must visit this place.
Good for kids. Im little bit worried because some animals didnt look healthy.
Great for kids and a for a cute date if you love animals, animals look healthy and happy.
I went to visit this farm and this was before I had much education on animal wellness and care. They offer visits with their rabbits where you can pet and feed them carrots and basically whatever vegetable you want. Also they had an information session on daory cows and how they produce milk. Now I have become more educated on the care of farm animals and can I just say this farm is not doing as good a job as they could be. RabbiTs should NOT be bombarded with as many people as they were allowing in those pens (it can cause shock and distress for the rabbit) secondly, these rabbits looked extremely overweight and badly nourished, this is because rabbits should NOT be eating carrots like that! They should only be eating hay (majority) and if the people wanted to bring something, it should be leafy greens, the fact that the farm does not put this in their website or on any signs tells me they have little knowledge of rabbit care and should not have them in their vicinity. As for the dairy cow showing, personally I think if you are not going to be straight up and let the people know that you had to get that mama cow pregnant just so she could have a baby, and then TAKE THAT BABY away from her, then you shouldnt be giving information sessions. I feel like maybe this could be a beautiful place but they are only using the aminals for profit while also causing distress, overcrowdedness and malnourishment.
Love this place.
Dont expect a maple farm because this is a ranch. Nice place for your little kids. You can touch and brush the cows just make sure to wash your hands afterwards.
Feed the chickens and be possessed by the ghost of an 1800s farmhand
Real good place for the family.
An amazing place for the kids to see and interact with animals. The farm has a lot of washrooms and hand wash sinks as well as hand sanitizer stands.
Great place for kids and adults. Lots of animals from chickens to horses. And their animals are friendly. I saw school kids petting animals with no problem. Their milking session is great too with lots of knowledge. Staff is super nice aswell. Picnic tables are everywhere on the farm for lunch or snacks.. very green and clean farm. Just visit with your kids
Good for all age. You can feed the animals: chicken, goat, horse, cow and so thing more... And you can picnic there.
Always fun. So many fun animals to see and pet!
Great place to kids!
Our kids love it. A hands on experience.
Good experience for children
affordable quality family fun.
Kids was afraid at first but later on they enjoy the place...favorite animal is the bunny...
Great place for kids to visit with animals
I really enjoyed this unassuming cozy little farm for a weekend visit. We ended up finding a bench away from the crowds overlooking some ducks playing in the ponds. We will return.
We went here a couple of times and still had tons of fun. The goats are really friendly, the rabbits and Guinea pigs are adorable, and is a great place overall. Would definitley come back
Choose a nice quiet day and you can hang with the affectionate animals in this pretty, wholesome farm. I love the little walks around the perimeter. The place is particularly gorgeous on a sunny fall day
Lots of animals to pet, including friendly goats.
Favourite as a kid. Now a favourite to take my son.
Nice clean farm, it's actually petting zoo. You will love it!
Great for the kids. Ducks and goats galore.
I Been With Chuck Bally Summer Camp When I Was Fourteen In 2019
Great fun.
Great place for kids.
Love Maplewood farm! Always a favorite for our kids. They love all the animals there and the farm adheres to covid safely regulations. Hand sanitizer stations available throughout the farm! We are able to pet the friendly goats and the bunnies. Wear rubber boots especially in the goats area because it can get muddy!
We love it. Small. Friendly staff. Affordable. Animals are friendly too.
My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here to see the goats and the white donkey. The last time we arrived, they had baby sheep so cute. The animals are well taken care of, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Cute little farm, great for kids and families. Washrooms are clean and accessible.
Good time with the kids. My children enjoyed it too. (Goat joke)
Sheep and goats and chickens oh my ! Such a fun place.
Great way to spend an afternoon! Animals seem well cared for and were very pleasant!
So much fun
Great family outing destination. Affordable, fun hands on experience for the entire family. Picnic area & party room.
I love this place fun for everyone
This is a fantastic weekend activity for the whole family! There are so many animals to see and it's great that you pre-book your time slot so it doesn't feel overly crowded. There are cows, goats, pot bellied pigs, ponies, sheep, chicken, ducks, peacocks, horses, bunnies and guinea pigs! So may things to see and they have benches and stuff out in the open so you can take a break for lunch or a snack while you're there. Haven't been here on a rainy day but we wear boots when visiting just because you're walking in muddy area or animal pens so it can get dirty.

The goats are great!
Fun place to bring kids. There are nice facilities for birthdays. Admission price is very reasonable. They have a nice goat petting area and small horses kids can ride.
Cute place for the kids
Fun for kids.
Great place!
Great place to spend the day with kids!
Cute little farm with some friendly animals, staff were all really nice and even came to find us to let us know that the cow milking was going on! ????
My 2 year old lost it while feeding the ducks. He had a blast.
Very family friendly and cute place.
Super clean and fun time with farm animals.
We love this place, it's been around a very long time and the staff are great!
Adorable little farm where you can interact with the animals, up close and personal! I came here as a child, and now I bring my toddler here every month or so. It’s basically all outdoors, so dress appropriately. It is so much fun! Feeding the ducks is a highlight! $3/bag of seed at the entrance. Bring your own greens to feed the rabbits - carrot tops are always a hit! Take care of any loose danglies to avoid accidentally feeding the goats - one of my purse straps will never be the same.
It was well maintained and animals were very friendly!
Farms stink, literally!!!! Animals were full of ecoli I would never come back. The dung was everywhere it was disgusting.
A good enough size to have enough furry animal fun for around 1-1.5 hours!
Very nice people that greeted us.
This place is really cute, and a nice place to come for an afternoon with some farm animals! It just seems a little expensive to get in for the size of the farm.
My boys are 6, 5, and 2, and they all love this farm, it is more like a petting zoo. There are cows, goats, bunnies, ponies, chicken, ducks etc. I think the huge white bunnies are the greatest hit with my boys who always feed them with greens. Children also like to watch cow and goat milking. I like their territory, there is a little pond there, bridges to a small forest area, and when you leave the farm, there is a playground.
Cute little farm to bring the little ones. They have cows, chickens, horses, goats, peacocks, pigs and parrots.
Great place for kids.
Beautiful farm, the stuff so kind, we did a membership and come so often, the animals so lovely. Highly reccomend to visit even with babies ????
Beautiful place and animals in the farm, my kids love it!!
This place is great for little kids. Our daughter loves it.
great little farm, my boy liked it.
A petting zoo with caged farm animals? Is that a petting zoo? Not as good as when I was a kid in the 80's. Sad parrot needs interaction! Free the exotic birds!
An amazing place to go to on your weekend, no matter what age you are. Lovely experience ❤️
The kids just loved this farm!
Cute animals and prices are very reasonable
(Translated) The place where the baby can be close to the small animals is not very big, but it is very comfortable to walk around. The small animals in the cognitive range of the children are easy to associate. (Original) 能带娃近距离接触小动物的地方虽然不大但是走走逛逛很舒服,小朋友认知范围内的小动物都有易于联想
Fantastic place for kids. Lots of duck chasing.
Great family friendly place ,affordable. Good place for young kids and as they grow to learn about animals. Very well kept and a nice walk around the pond was all I needed with my GPA and kids
Great for the kids to visit farm animals
Great fun place to visit with kids if you have couple of hours. While Covid impacted what kids can do on the farm, there are still a bunch of things they can do. Staff are really nice and friendly. Explore the farm and while doing so, you will be helping the farm as well.
Kids love being close to they animals
good place for kids 8 and younger.
Very safe. Covid measures in place but still fun to attend. Staff are very polite and friendly.
Great place for kids. Couple hours max visit so just dont expect a full day out
Good small farm. Great for quick fun.
Loved my time here! Lots of different animals to enjoy.
Lovely place. Bring your lunch!
This is a farm that's in north Vancouver. This is cool since all the other farms are way down in either Langely or Surrey area. I went here with a daycamp field trip. There's a picnic area, as well as many animals varying from Guinea pigs and rabbits all the way to goats and peacocks. The Dow side was that the smell was too strong for the kids, and we eventually had to leave for an area with less odor. The staff were nice and the animals were quite well-behaved. Watch out for the roaming chickens though!
Excellent place for kids. Not enough parking spaces, so plan in advance
Great farm. Lots of fun for the kids and pretty sure the adults have just as much fun… if not more in my wife and I’s case!
To watch peacocks is just the best..
Great place to see animals and birds like in the zoo And touch them like at home.
Nice for young children
My family spent two hours here! Horses, sheeps, cows, rabbits, birds and goats are welcoming us at their cages. You can get in to cage of goats and cage of rabbits.
A farm experience, or as near as you will get in North Vancouver. Always enjoy and learn.
Kids just love this place. We were invited for a birthday party of my kids Friend. They had so much fun and they do love this place a lot. Even us, as elders we can take a walk around. It’s indeed very beautiful. And such lovely animals. Maybe this place requires a little bit more maintenance but overall it was great.
Visited the farm with my nieces and we all had a great time. It’s pretty small, so you will likely be done within 2 hours. So don’t go too early if you want to see the 1PM milking demonstration. It’s a great setup that allows you to self guide through the farm and spend as much time as you want in each area.
Great fun for the little ones and they're not insane about covid stuff here. It's nice.
This is an awesome place to take the kids so they can get up close to all kinds of farm animals. The parking is free and the staff is fantastic
Great for kids
So much fun for our toddler! Lots of animals to see, the goat pen was great and she loved walking around with the ducks. Price was really reasonable as well.
a farm experience for city dwelling children
Good family fun with farm animals.
The animals were so friendly.
Definitely not worth it. The same activities are present around Abbotsford area with NO CHARGE. Very small area, very limited activity...
It's a place for the whole family to enjoy a relaxing and a good time for a family that has young kids.
Nice place for kids
Such a great time with my family ♡
All the animals are here that you expect in an children farm. I only miss a place where they serve coffee and pancakes.
We took our 2 year old for the first time for the experience, though we left feeling more sad than anything and would not visit again. Each person should consider if they wish to support a business of this nature, and should really educate themselves on animal rights and welfare. This shouldn't be okay anymore in 2021. The goats did appear to enjoy the pets, pigs also didnt appear to mind. However, most of the animals were grossly overweight, the structures and fenced areas small. It doesn't take a mind reader to understand these animals are miserable. The rabbits are grossly obese with person after person lined up to stuff food in their faces.
A beautiful place for a morning with your kids - Clean and well-maintained yet rustic and very charming - Good customer facilities - washrooms, hand sanitation. - A variety of farmyard animals and birds - A beautiful water body nestled in the woods - Ample parking
We love Maplewood farms. Absolutely fantastic
Bring your kids or just walk around and stop to pet a goat. Good place for a mental break from the mundane.
I love Maplewood farm! I have been going since I was a kid and then I took my children. I know am a companion to a lady who’s family actually owned it when it was a working farm! I was thinking this would be a great home to Theodore the pig that is looking for a forever home! He was featured on Global news last night... the kids would love him!!! Just a thought!!!!! ???? ???? ????????❤️????❤️????❤️
Fantastic place to take your family. Highly recommend. Amazingly cute animals to amuse your children with.
Had a lovely day with my grandaughter
A bit disappointing
Pigmy goats, lambs, cockatiels, peacocks, mules, and ponies. Enough the keep any wife / kid happy
Great little place for little kids to see live farm animals close up.
This is a good place to take little kids. An hour well spent.
(Translated) Admission was not cheap, but it's not a waste to see the gentle-looking animals. Seeing cute babies walking inside the fence and playing with rabbits and sheep, it feels like the world's cute things are gathered. There is also a light trail full of peace.
I love this place! It reminds me of a place I'd always visit as a child where you can interact with all sorts of farm animals and even go inside their pens. They all look quite healthy and happy and chickens even get an off-limit place to go to and rest without being bothered by humans. I'm really looking forward to coming here often when I have my own kids... but it's great for animal-loving adults too :)
Wonderful place for kids! Lots of places to wash your hands
Awesome place for kids. There is a cool parrot that says hello on top of farm animals. Kids can go inside bunnies cage and goats to pet them. The workers are very friendly
Wish covid was over so we could feed the ducks bird see! But it was fun, even in the rain :)
A nice, small, and family friendly farm with animals. You can get close to horses, sheep's, ducks, chickens, and cows. Some petting allowed, sone other feeding allowed. Can easy go around within an hour. Great for kids who can stand and walk.
Great fun, for families with young kids
Best experience, kids loved it!
Very fun place for kids to get to know Farm animals. We are a regular there and will be for sure.Highly recommend them
Small.... And just ok
Great place to take small children , where they can learn the difference between a chicken and a duck , a goat and a sheep .... Petting areas for Rabbits and small goats .
A family experience. Most people pet the goats.
Went during Civid times and felt very safe. You have to book your time in advance which keeps the amount of visitors controlled. It was very clean. Only downside is you could really get that close to some animals because of protocol, but Goat Hill was open even though my toddler was scared to pet them. She loved the ducks though. They just rome around. Great place for young families. Oh and there were baby lambs, must of been very recently born.
So beautiful really nice place to visit.
Only ideal for Toddlers, not kids older than 4yr, I did NOT Hate it . Dont put words in my Mouth
Great place for kids to hang out in the weekend
Nice place and good experience for kids
Local favorite
Love the farm experience in the city!
Great place for the kids!
Great for kids
Great place for kids. Closer to downtown Vancouver
Great place to get away to small zoo. So much fun with my kids petting all types of animals
Not too far from downtown, the farm is a great place to visit when you feel like casually getting out of the city. I loved playing with the goats and the horses are very beautiful. There is a milking demonstration at 13:15 so I recommend getting there around noon. Unfortunately, you don’t get to milk the goat yourself.
Very good for toddlers
My daughter loves feeding the chicken and the bunnies. It's a nice farm and you can pet the goats too.
Great place to hang out for a few hours. Not only for families. The goats are super friendly.
Nice little place to visit with the kids.. Duck pond and goat petting area were the highlights..We were here on a holiday long weekend but still a pleasant experience overall..Just wished the peacocks had a larger enclosure area or were allowed to free range as it was a bit cramped when displaying..
This place is great. I'm convinced God's duck factory is here. There are a lot of ducks. The peacock is gorgeous, the bunnies are so fat and the goats are hilarious. Highly recommend, great place for proposals, children's birthdays, and ducks.
Small cute farm. Well organized and clean. Staffs are friendly here. Recommended for family and friends. Especially if you're parents, kids love here.
Greatly maintained. The animals don't seem abused, they are quite docile. Hand washing stations everywhere. The parrots were tucked away for some reason, so didn't get to see them. The ducks were so well fed by the visitors that they don't even care if you give them food anymore, so that was a bit disappointing. 2 yo still had a great time.
Fabulous! I didn’t even know this place existed until I attended a birthday party here. It was clean, well staffed, friendly, ethical and peaceful. Nice place to take young children or host a kids party.
Fun place
like it
Great place for families.
My daughter loves coming here. There is a playground next to the farm and she loves it. She always wants to hang around more and that's the only problem ????
My kid really like here
My toddler enjoyed alot. There are still some places where you can pet animals and this Farm is one of them. Definitely recommended
My toddler enjoyed alot. There are still some places where you can pet animals and this Farm is one of them. Definitely recommended
(Translated) Very nice as a visit to make with the family and to interest the children to the animals of the farm. (Original) Très sympa comme visite à faire en famille et pour intéresser les enfants aux animaux de la ferme.
Great animals but can only get there buy car overpriced should be free
Brilliant day out
Good friends
Easy to find, a few animals to pet
Great place to take little ones. Lots of friendly animals and space to run around!
Great place for kids and adults.Yearly membership is value for money.
What a great spot to take the kids. Lots of great animals who look happy and healthy.
Decent price parking playground, clean friendly service and place. Would go back! Hidden away but very accessible.
Great petting zoo and not too far from down town.
Great place to pass away a couple of hours with the kids..
It is really Amazing.
A joyful transit accessible and affordable place aimed largely towards children but fun for all ages. The bunnies and the goats are the best animals to pet. As they would say in days of old, good clean fun!
A little and nice farm to have fun with kids. You can see and touch most of the animals. Great for a sunny, cloudy or even rainy day. Bring some money and buy some seeds to feed the ducks. It is going to be a couple hours trip and no expensive.
Good
A big thank-you to Janeen and Asha whom I have been working back on forth with on my daughter's 5th birthday party this past Saturday! They were warm and responsive in all their replies to my inquiries - it was her champagne party and we were excited to have her and all the little guest have a private pony ride! Your team does amazing work to instill in young kids the love for animals and the farm/nature! Hanging there for a day's outing sure beats any screen time!
I was first time here and absolutely know I come back. It's really big fun for kids.
Super fun place to visit with s small child. Recommended to make an appointment- very easy to do online.
Our kids love it here!
Great for families
We had a great day out at Maplewood Farm. There were goats and bunnies to pet, ducks to feed, and lots to see: sheep, horses, pigs, birds, miniature horses, peacocks and more! Parking is great, the farm is clean and the pathways are great for accessibility.
Been going for years
The goats are so friendly and fun. I love visiting them every time I go.
Nice little farm, great to bring the kids and has a lovely little walking loop.
My daughter loved it here. Especially the ducks and miniature goats and chicken eggs. Cool little farm in the city close to home. Good place to kill time with the kiddos.
Kids love it.
Great family fun
(Translated) Great day, super farm, just beautiful (Original) Toller Tag, Super Farm, einfach nur schön
Really good farm for kids
Been going there since I was little. Love it.
Everything was fine . the service was too notch.the menu had a lot of good choices, but I didn't like the shredded hash browns they were like fried rice.i would of enjoyed ladies instead.
Fun activity with little kids!
Terrible booking process.
Great place, relaxing environment full of wonderful farm animals!
Have been bringing my kid there since she was a few months old. She is 5 now!!!
Fantastic experience. The animals are super friendly and adorable. Do not miss the little goats, they just love the attention and want you to pet them.
Awesome place
Excellent family place...! So lovely, got to spend time with many of the farm animals here they are so cute and is so fun to feed them...
Great for young kids.
Pet the rabbits, goats and horses at this perfectly toddler friendly farm.
It was nice to be there . good for children . I give it 4 stars because there was just a few kinds of animals " 2 hans , a rooster , many horses and few goats " . before I go we thought we will find all the farm animals . any way ,we spend a good time
family ???? nice environment. and don't miss out small playground beside.
Great fun with the kids. Mine loved seeing the animals.
Great place for the kiddos to run around, see farm animals and learn about running a farm.
It's small but lovely, animals are friendly and well looked after.
Always a nice day
Lovely place
Great morning out for kids!
Took my kids here. They loved it. Super helpful staff. Good experience overall.
(Translated) I honestly do not recommend the place is insignificant poorly maintained and few animals which are neglected there is not much to see and it is not worth going. (Original) Sinceramente no lo recomiendo el lugar es insignificante mal cuidado y pocos animales los cuales tmb están descuidados no hay mucho que ver y no vale la pena ir.
Kids enjoy our trip
Super fun way to hang out with farm animals
Fun and friendly place
Super fun for the kids
Nice place to pass an hour with your family. Lots of hand sanitizer on site. Appointment system blocks out a full hour and controls numbers.
It's a great place to spend time with your children and let them know the farm animals!
The farm starts charging for admission at 19 month olds. Parking lot is small and almost always full. They have a small area to pet goats and kids. Cow milking demonstrations and bunnies to feed. Little peddle tractors for kids to sit on. Little playground beside farm to play in. They have a party room as well. Good place for kids.
My daughter absolutely loved it. The prices are affordable. It's easy access by transit.
Very cute farm. I enjoyed coming here with the kids.
Amazing
Good place to chill out but only few animals......and one thing I don't like is the very limited space for the 3 peacocks, which is not at all sufficient.
Very entertaining especially if you have children. Love feeding the ducks and a great day out
The best place for the children’s interactive with animals .
Animal very friendly you can bring your kid to touch it. The front desk ask me did I pre book the event, I told her I come from Calgary, take my name and phone number, collect payment that's it. No warm welcome. That's it, you pay then go in, done? Then leave. Ok bye Is not really a farm, is a mini zoo, surround by resident and next beside there is construction for condo.
One of the best farms, the working staff are so friendly . We arrived 45mins late from the hour as there was a prob on the high way , and they told us to stay as much as we want . Kids enjoy it so much , we have been there for more than 3 times in a year. Recommend to buy food for the bird / duck
great place for families. With Covid restrictions, now you can bring your own bird seeds which highly recommend for the ducks in the pond
Went with friends and 2 babies before Halloween. 25 minute long line to get in with only one cashier. Considering it's all babies and little kids waiting, by the time they get in they are tired and cranky. Also $7.50 admission per adult seems a bit steep. Duck pond, some animals, small meadow with pumpkins laid out. The high point was how gentle the goats were... really like lapdogs! Repeat? Probably not. Also, parking is limited.
Its was okay, half of the park was closed down, so only limited to walk space. Less animals each time we're going. Long line up to "feed" and see the bunnies. At least we got to pet the goats.
I write a negative feedback shortly here. There was a man and woman who were working inside the livestock barn, the man came out raising his voice and yelling at us for my daughter, who is six, threw a small carrot to the horse. He was furious and almost ranged at us. I know that there is no feeding signs all over the place, but that odd behavior was disrespectful in the workplace. It looks like this is not the first time a kid has fed animals there, because the animals immediately approach when the minute you wander to their fence and wait for you to feed them. Anyways, I did not do anything and did not even reply to the man, but my daughter was terrified as the result of this incident I thought it was normal at the beginning and would go away but that experience stayed with me after left the place and I feel I should have done something about his behavior. I leave this negative rating and a comment in a hope that someone from the farm will do something about it.
Great place for kids if any age. You can pet bunnies, goats, see horses and donkies, ducks and peacocks. There's a free parking and a play area nearby
Recommend
Great place for the young ones to interact with animals. Chickens and ducks everywhere, pet the guinea pigs and rabbits, or climb rocks with the goats.
Lots of fun animals that you can interact with... Nice place for kids
Money grab no lineups
Nice farm. Lots of people go there. Parking is a premium so go early.
This farm brings great fun to your kids. Lots of ducks, goats, cows, chickens etc.
This is a great place to visit for the weekend!
Very nice place for kids, they can pet small tame goats
Great place for kids to see some different farm animals up close and feed ducks (it's hard to find a place that you're actually allowed to feed ducks nowadays)!
Fun place to bring animal lovers and kids
Great place to take the kids. The have fun.
Well kept. Lots of animals for the kids to learn about and interact with.
Love petting the animals!
Kids had so much fun, great spot, beautiful ponds
Great experience for the kids! I had no idea there was a farm so close to downtown.
Always a great time for the kids when we come here. You can buy a bag of bird seeds to feed the ducks, ducklings, geese and the different types of chickens, pet the bunnies and the goats, learn about milking a cow or chat with the friendly farmer if you're thirsty for more information. Have a real fruit popsicle or best brownie treat, a toy from the gift shop and some free stamps for a fun way to end the day!
Absolutely love this place! All of the animals seem well taken care of and happy. Our personal favorite is the goat area! They are very friendly and love to be pet.
Great place, anytime of year ????
The price of admission is high for what you get to see/do. Not to mention we witness 2 staff members fight over what seemed like a guy. Even through they knew customers with young children were prrsent. Alot of better farms that let you pet some of their animals and even offer hay rides to see the whole farm
Kids love this place, lots of animals you can touch
Good place for the kids
We are a family with our 4 year old girl visiting Vancouver, Canada. Firstly the Farm is small and have mainly old animals and birds. There isn’t that many varieties of birds. The farm ground is fairly dirty with bird poos all over! The peacocks are cages in a rather small place. Price wise it’s wee bit expensive for what it offers in terms of animals and birds and old facilities . On arrival we were instructed rudely by a staff to use the restroom across and opposite the office cum activity Centre as a party was just ending. We rush to meet a donkey with saddle and the staff swiftly informed us that she had to lead the donkey back to the stable. Why she can’t wait for a few minutes for our girl? Before departing our girl asked for the washroom suddenly, and we were instructed again by another rude staff not to use the one at the Centre. You can imagine how we felt and also our young girl from the above events! We shall not suggest to our families and friends to visit this Farm. They should not treat all visitors, both local and tourists in such manner. No need to compare with other farms, As there isn’t much value from our experience.

(Translated) Wonderful, an unbeatable experience. Beautiful and peaceful place, and the animals very well cared for and of excellent behavior. (Original) Maravilloso, una experiencia inigualable. Bello y apacible lugar, y los animales muy bien cuidados y de excelente comportamiento.
Neat little outing with the kids! You do get to get up real close to some of the animals !
Simple place but perfect for children who just want to pet / feed bunnies and Guinea pigs. They give suggestions for what greens to bring too. They really like parsley :)
Fun local spot. Great for kiddos and so close by. It's the right size to feel big to kids but not so big they get bored or overwhelmed. You can be right in the pen with the goats!
Made for kids up to the 10. Any older and they'll get bored
Kid loves it
Jolly children's farm
Great for kids
Nice.
Great place to spend a sunny day with little ones! All the animals are friendly and tame. There are ducks everywhere, goats and bunnies you can pet, and convenient hand washing stations. Be forewarned there's not much parking.
