We LOVE Farm Ventures so much - and have been there three times already - after our last visit, we decided to bring some of the animals home with us! After our kids (5, 7 and 9) met some baby bunnies there, two months later we're now welcoming Marshmallow and Cinnamon into our home. They are so gentle and amazing, love being held. Thank you so much for raising such healthy and gentle bunnies. We promise to take good care of these Angora/Lion Lops! Looking forward to our next visit!

Brought my daughter and we had a great time with the animals, which were all very friendly and approachable (especially the duck!). Elizabeth was our guide throughout the tour, and she was absolutely wonderful as well. The whole thing was topped off with a pony ride at the end, and our daughter was so happy to have done it.

Our family has very different levels of riding experience and we were well matched to horses and personally escorted on the ride. The owners are very knowledgeable and patient, and their animals are clearly well loved. We all had a great time and will visit again.

We took our niece and nephew for a farm adventure and pony ride. This is beyond an incredible experience! Bette-lyn is so patient and she ensured every person in our group got special attention and turns to hold, pet, and fees the animals. She made it fun and educational, giving us fun facts about all of the different animals. You can tell how much she loves all the furry babies she has on her farm. We got to meet all the animals, hold the bunnies and birds, feed the horses and bunnies and chickens, pet the pigs and goat and donkeys, we got to keep an egg, and our littles got to ride the ponies. We couldn’t stop smiling for hours afterwards and our niece and nephew kept talking about how “amazing” and “fun” and “awesome” the day was. We are so lucky to have such a precious gem as Farm Ventures on the coast!!!

We had such an amazing day at the farm! So many amazing animals to interact with, feed and have fun with including peacocks, micro pigs, donkeys, horses, teeny tiny bunnies, lamas, ducks and many more. The private tour includes funny animal tricks & performances, everything from a horse singing happy birthday to a smiling pig. A day not to be missed. Jess was our tour guide and went above and beyond to make our day fun and memorable. So informative and friendly (& Irish!) Would definitely return. Highly recommend!

Have been twice and would definitely go again! The staff is always super friendly and the tours are so hands on and fun! My daughter absolutely LOVED her pony ride and wanted to go again and again. Getting to hold the baby animals was my personal favourite part, and Hogwarts the piggy is just the cutest! Would absolutely recommend, and will be going again when we can!

I had a wonderful time on the trail ride today, we did the two hours ride up on the tree farm and I highly recommend it. Beautiful view, the horses were great and super sweet; I definitely recommend to check this farm out! I will come back soon for another visit.

5 stars for the farm itself. Lots of awesome critters and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable. 4 for the trail ride. Spent lots of time on the road and the recent snowfall made most of the trail pretty challenging with trees either across the path or we had to push them out of the way. But I understand some of that is out of their control. Would go again in the summer when the trails get more love.

We went with 2 children aged 3 and 6 I can't tell you how wonderful this experience was for all of us. The children were able to cuddle so many small animals and pet so many more. The pony ride was an actual trail ride. The smiles on those children were priceless! They want to go again next visit!

The experience could have been amazing. The first problem was that we were told that most of the animals were at a May day festival elsewhere when we arrived. If we would have been told that when booking it wouldn't have caught us by surprise (we booked on the same day as our tour). Then the riding horse was off somewhere in the back pasture and we were told to come back next time and the horse should be available. This would mean that we would be paying $65 just to come back so my son could ride a horse. Overall the experience was fun for our 4 year old son (which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 1), the property is very clean and the animals seem very happy and well cared for. I just wish we could have had the total experience.

We had a lovely morning at Farm Ventures with our two year old daughter! The staff we're really patient with her (and us) and made sure that she was getting the instruction needed to be safe around the animals. She especially loved holding and cuddling the baby guniea pigs and petting the llama. We plan to go again when in the area and add a pony ride next time ????

Bette Lyn was simply amazing. the farm is incredible and the horses they have are both beautiful and impeccably behaved. it was my first time riding but was immediately put at ease and with betteLyns guidence felt like I'd being riding for years. getting to ride a champion Andalusian that has been featured on Netflix was certainly an amazing experience that I will never forget and will be back next time for the 4 hour mountain treck. thanks for everything

The farm tour was average with a decent variety of animals, but the quality of the trail ride was abysmal. Though the horses were well behaved, we did not get to experience what was advertised- instead of a view of the Georgia Strait, we took a ride up a ridiculously rocky and steep path (having to get off multiple times) then into a dank forest where the only view we received was one of a slimy pond. Our ride was over guided as well. Though I have been riding and teaching riding lessons for just over 9 years, the guide/owner Betty Lynn, lead my horse and walked beside me the entire time, seemingly unable to tell the difference between a spooked horse and an exited/happy horse. The trail itself was not well kept and branches almost took everyone's eyes out. If our guide had not stopped us so many times to either pick berries to give the horses or ask us if we wanted water every five minutes, the trail would have taken about 40 minutes instead of the 1.5 hours we had booked and paid for. Overall, the ride was not worth our time or money and experienced riders (3 in total) were treated like children, leaving us annoyed with twigs and bugs in our hair.

I held 4 week old bunnies! Guinea Pigs, micro pigs, turkeys, peacocks, lama, donkeys, goat, chickens, pheasants, pigeons, Quackers the duck, a goose, dogs, bunnies, ponies and horses. Oh my!!!! Farm Ventures also offers pony rides and trail rides you can also book groups visits as well. It is an excellent opportunity for the whole family. A 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale on the Sunshine Coast..then the drive from the ferry to the farm is about 15 minutes. A great day trip. Make sure you call in advance and make reservations as this location is popular with families. I had a wonderful experience.

Amazing Experience! My wife and I were just on our Honeymoon on the Sunshine Coast and visiting Farm Ventures for the first time. We absolutely loved it there. Lots of different animals to pet and see. All the animals look well taken care of and the overall riding experience is awesome. Pricing is very fair and the Trail rides go through a very scenic ride. If we come back to the Sunshine Coast we will for sure book again. Highly recommend it! For beginner riders or experienced riders. Thanks for an awesome memory!

Great experience. Didn’t make a reservation and literally just pulled up with a group of friends and was accommodated, despite being fully booked. Highly recommend the petting farm. Was fun for a bunch of us, college kids. Certain it’ll be even more fun for the younger ones in the family. Cutest animal is Tundra, the guard dog!

We took my 4 & 5 year old, the 4 year old was very nervous and unsure around the animals at first but with Bette-Lynn's patience and gentle direction, by the end he was feeding and riding ponies and exclaiming how much he loved it! Me and two friends of mine did the 4 hour mountain trailride yesterday. It was an absolutely amazing experience, as I've never been on such a long trailride before. Our horses Gulliver, Linda and Walker did a really good job, they didn't trip once, even though the trail was quite challenging at some parts. And they're all pretty well-muscled, so they didn't seem to get tired at all in these four hours. When we arrived at our destination both we and the horses had a nice picnic with ocean view:) So it's been a really beautiful day and I can highly recommend this mountain trailride to everyone who loves spending lots of time in the saddle with lovely horses!

The farm tour was so much fun for all ages! We were expecting to just roam around petting and feeding animals, not knowing the tour actually provide us feeds, information and have the animals do their special tricks. There is even a room of bunnies, Guinea pigs for you to enjoy. We had so much fun!

What a wonderful place! if your an animal lover this is the place for you, its very hands on and interactive, you are able to feed and spend quality time with the animals,(which are very friendly) theres a bunny room with tons of cute fluffy bunnys and so many more animals. The staff is wonderful and if you get the chance i would check it out and support the farm and bussniess, i personally loved it and any quality time with animals i enjoy so i will be coming back. I have visited this beautiful farm several times and highly recommend! The place is just wonderful and really great for every age. You get to interact with all kind of animals from chickens to bunnies, horses, even pigs, a llama, donkeys and many more. You can not only pet but also feed them and some will perform special tricks for you! Don't miss out on Snowy, the kissing pony and Tetley, the tea cup pig. There is so much to explore and learn! All the animals are extremely friendly and so is the owner Bette-lyn. You can see that all animals are loved and well taken care of. In addition to the farm tour you can also go on a trail ride which ensures beautiful views on horseback. A must do when you visit the Sunshine Coast and like horses. Had an amazing time on the farm. Thank you so much for this unique experience! I will return for sure!

Pony bucked off my 1 year old daughter and the owner tried to blame us for having a toy with us. We were at a preschool event with many kids with toys. The owner was not apologetic and was blaming us! Also continued to use that pony for rides after this happened. The guy who was holding the pony did nothing to try and help my daughter. I was hold her arm but she fell on the opposite side of me and the pony was still bucking so I couldn’t pull her over. The guy was on that side and did nothing to help. The pony is unsafe the owner is rude and unapologetic. They shouldn’t be allowed at events with kids!

This is the BEST TIME you can have on the coast. BEST VALUE and INCREDIBLE EXPEREINCE. Pulling in, you have no idea what to expect. You open the doors to Narnia. The staff is beyond accommodating and makes the experience a super charged adventure. Do not deny yourself and your children of this place! I truly felt like a child again. Talking horses, smiling pigs and kind people. You cant recreate this.

They have beautiful and sweet Andalusian horses which are quite rare to see in every day life! Also, the staffs are very friendly and helpful, they teach all the basics of riding a horse. Plus ,the view on the rail is fantastic!! Totally recommend this place to anyone:)

Excellent place to bring your kids! We contacted the owner last minute over the August long weekend to see if any tours were available. She accomodated our family on a tour that same day! They have a wide variety of very friendly animals and the staff are excellent with young kids. Our kids had such a good time, we decided to come back the following day for a pony ride. Maya was very attentive with our daughter throughout the ride, and did a great job! Highly recommend Farm Ventures for a family adventure!

What a wonderful experience!! Staff are extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and just lovely in general, there is a variety of different animals, you get to pet and hold some of the animals which is so fun, and you can just tell that the animals are happy and comfortable and that makes the experience even more lovely. You don’t feel you’re disturbing anyone. We brought our 15 month old niece and she enjoyed it very much, especially the bunny room! We also came on a particularly rainy day but that didn’t interfere with the tour whatsoever and would still recommend going even if it’s a bit rainy. Huge thank you to the owner (whose name is slipping my mind), the staff and all the sweet and gentle animals. Will definitely be back!

A really nice farm! All the people over there are so friendly and you can see that they love their work together with the animals. And also all of the animals are so cute and sweet and they have lots of space. Most of them are just running free around the whole farm. Amazing, they have such a great life at the farm. My favorite part was definitely the back massage from Lindeza. I've never seen a horse before who can do that. Thank you so much for that incredible experience at your farm with all these lovely animals. :)

I have visited the beautiful farm and I think it is really nice. The animals are really great and they are easy to pet. I think it is a really great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who likes animals and wants to get closer to them. There is really a big selection of them. From chicken to horse, everything is there. The animals are lovingly cared for and every single one of them is doing very well here. It's a place fore Every age.
