Well, I went for a bike ride to Chinguacousy Park this morning! It was a beautiful day for a ride, and the park was fantastic! They do follow covid regulations so a mask and distancing are in effect here! I rode all around the park and was pleasantly surprised by all the new features there since the last time I was there! This park sits on in the center of a block between Queen St, Central Park Dr, and Bramalea Rd on the boarder between Brampton and Bramalea Ontario! It features a petting zoo with goats, lama's elpaka's and horses just to name a few! A strict guideline while there is "PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS!" They have handlers that give them plenty of food for their busy days of mingling with the people! There is also duck ponds, and you can feed the ducks, and they love to see visitors! Also there is a large flower garden on the Queen St side as well as beautiful flower installations all around the park! There are lots of places to take a break, benches, picnic tables and a few eateries to partake in! You can check their web page for times of opening and closing and upcoming events like ballgames and fireworks displays and much more! Not a lot of animals out during our visit, perhaps due to covid 19 restrictions. It was approximately 23 Celsius outside and partly cloudy. Lots and lots of people even with the covid restrictions. Thankfully there were still accessible parking spots for permit holders.

Are you even from Brampton if you haven't been to Chinguacousy Park? This park is a staple in Brampton. So many memories coming here from when I was a kid, from skiing to going to the petting zoo and taking pics for prom. Come with family and friends. Grab a mat and chill. Or just come for a walk. You'll absolutely love it

Looking for something fun to do with the “littles” this weekend? Chinguacousy Park offers outdoor entertainment for all seasons for all ages, and is the Best Park in Brampton. In the spring/summer there are multiple playgrounds, water activities, a petting zoo,a train ride, skate park, a tropical garden to explore and much more. Once the weather cools in the fall you can still checkout the two awesome playgrounds, and take a stroll around the park and enjoy the scenery. In the winter, they transform the splash pad into an outdoor skating rink for Bramptonians to enjoy! If you have a child that is the active type with energy to burn, then check out one of the two playgrounds the two playgrounds located in Chinguacousy Park. One playground is located near the boathouse, and the other is a short walk across the bridge located near the concession stand.

It was really nice place, Perfect picnic spot. You can have quality time with your kids. The main attractions are zoo, small pond, paddle boating and splash pool. It would be good if you can bring your food and some seating stuff as it lacks. Otherwise it's awesome ????✊????.

Love love this place, it's such a great place to get away with the kids for a day of fun! So many things to offer and 'Ching Park' - what locals call it. They have a two designated areas of splash pads and shallow pool ( which i imagine turns into a skating ting in the winter), a petting zoo, farm house, pony rides, train rides, a merry-go-round, a cantine, washrooms, baseball diamond, and a ski area! There is a Minimal fee for some activities. Maybe 1 or 2 dollar per activity. The price for skiing is something i am unaware of.

Great place to take the kids. Ponies, goats, sheep, chickens, peacocks, and other animals to see. Not very busy and the outdoor animals are still viewable during COVID-19 making it a regular so on our walks through Chinguacousy Park. Fun for everyone in the family.

It's great, but there ought to be some signage informing guests about not feeding the ducks bread. Bread is so lacking in nutrition, and it creates mold in the water that hurts the marine plant life, which means the ducks and geese have even less food, but the guests don't care at all and get defensive immediately instead of bothering to learn better

It was beautiful. So great to be outdoors. The weather was fabulous and most people practiced social distancing. The washroom facilities were very clean and well kept. Kudos to the staff. Security was ensuring that the rules were followed and exercised patience and understanding. They were great.

Great place to bring the young ones. The barn lady is awesome. Very knowledgeable. There were co-OP students there. They were almost as skittish as the animals! But they seemed enthusiastic for the most part. The animals were cool too. Our favorite were the Alpacas. Considering the barn is free for the public, it gets full marks from me. Way to go Brampton!

In the summer this place is very cozy where lovely animals reside with their nice demeanor and where they are taken care of and fed. There are small dispensers where good could be purchased and which the animals will scoop very quickly and cutely ???? The indoor zoo and the petting zoo are a great addition to the place.
