Il est possible d'apporter notre lunch dans une glacière si on le désire, sinon il y a un resto type cantine sur place.

The park seemed very unconcerned about the animals. Most enclosures looked dirty, and some had trash. Very little enrichment for the animals. Parc Safari was much nicer, although it doesn't have a water park, which we didn't use. 1 restaurant which was a very crowded cafeteria, and almost no water fountains to be found. Water was for sale at vending machines all across the park, though, about US$3.00 a 20oz bottle. Terribly unimpressed, we'll go to Parc Safari next time.

This place was amazing. Too bad food is so expensive but that was expected. The place is very clean, the staff were friendly. The animals seem to be well taken care of. Bilingualism would be considerate on their part since everything is french. All in all it was a good experience. Would recommend going there.

I would still recommend going during the summer for the full experience, but if it's not your first time or if you'd rather not have to deal with larger crowds, winter works out pretty well!

One very disappointing fact is they keep diminishing rights of entry for the lifetime pass. Unimpressed by the « winter zoo » and the treatment of some animal. E.g. Australian wallabies are not made for such climate (they are very lean) and we’re clearly freezing. Also there is not a lot of animals available during that time. I would detract anyone to go in winter time.

We decided to visit Granby today during it's winter opening in hope of seeing some new animals out in unusual (for me at least) climates. At first a little disappointed as all the animals were (quite understandably given the chilly snowy surrounds) indoors in quite confined enclosures and many of the side shops, eateries and exhibits were closed. However, the Asia loop was today fantastic with all the star attractions (including Snow Leopards, tigers, leopards) all making an appearance. This section was today worth the entrance fee alone. Oceana was also good. Whilst we can only judge on the winter opening and pathways this seems to be a nicely laid out and presented zoo with plenty to see and do (especially for younger visitors, which cannot always be said). We were surprised how close to the animals we were for some exhibits and as such we got some fabulous pictures. The restaurant and gift shop were what you would expect from such an attraction, though the addition of beaver tails was nice and ticked one of my must have feasts for this trip.

Scored tickets in December for 11$ each and went during winter last year and again this year. Upon entry, it wasnt very clear where to present our printed tickets (said to go to express line but nobody worked in those booths so got turned back at the entrance to lineup at a regular ticket purchase booth. Interms of a Zoo, its okay, some animals to see, and alot of walking. Stopped halfway through for lunch and was pleasantly surprised that they sold beer and bottled alcoholic clamato. I didnt order food so cant comment but they sell the usual fast food fare, prices seemed fair. For the price we paid, it was a good day activity with our 2 year old and a couple friends. I will probably go once a year using the winter promotion.

This is a simply perfect little zoo. I was there in October, a wee bit cold. Regardless, wow what an experience. My kids loved it. I highly recommend it for little kids. Walk with there kangaroos, feed the stingrays. What a great day.
