Really nice place to bring Yong kids. You can interact with Kangaroo and other animal. Friendly staff and reasonable entry fee.

Joel Letendre

Very healthy habitats. The staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

Sebastian Menis

So many kangaroos everywhere. Super cool place. Also there is a red Honda nsx often parked there which is very cool to look at

Carol Faust

Just fabulous!! Have you ever held a Joey? Or wandered in a field with Kangaroos? I am usually skeptical about animal petting type of farms .... this one puts the animals first! Only open from 10-2, cash only entrance fee, lots of people working/volunteering to assist with animals, and no commercial presence, eg souvenir stand.

Brandon Orr

AMAZING! Kangaroos everywhere! So much fun, great for the whole family. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Branden Green

Great place for petting zoo! All friendly animals. Great fun for family or any ages. Affordable admission. Must see in Kelowna!

Stew Drefko

yep love it freindly little guys :)

Sarah Tardieu

We loved being able to pet the kangaroos and feed them. We were just disappointed that they had run out of fries when we decided to have lunch. Great place.

Nijeesh Palakkode Narayanankutty

Good place for short time fun and ofcorse kids will like this place ..

Adam Flewe

Some amazing animals here. This is one of the best “petting zoos” I have ever been to. The animals are all treated with respect and the people who work here really care about the animals. Check out there website to see what is new, they will often have babies (when we went baby cavies and kangaroos).

Miranda Hillier

Always a must go when visiting Kelowna ! The animals are so friendly you will fall in love with the goats

Tam Time

One of the few places in Kelowna I would consider a "MUST stop attraction". It's not everyday you get to see Kangaroos, Wallabies, Capybaras, and Patagonian Cavys, let alone feed them and pet them. I believe their hours are now 10am-3pm, and you could easily spend all 5 hours there, especially if you have kids. We got to hold baby Joeys, and a baby sugar glider! They also had baby goats, who were only 1 week old, and dressed in cute little sweaters! Admission is 10$ for adults, not sure how much for kids, but it's fully worth it. There is lots to do in Kelowna, but this is by far at the top of the list. Attached is a few pictures of some of the animals.

We drove up to the Kangaroo Creek Farm while staying in Penticton. It was well worth the drive. We have 3 boys, ranging in age from 4 to 9 and they really had a great time. It was reasonably priced for a family outing, there was great interaction with the animals and with staff. The staff were knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing information about the animals which added to the experience. There were some welcome frozen treats available for purchase that we enjoyed and they also had a food truck that we didn’t try. We stayed about 2 hours

Thomas F

Great Farm! Amazing to see so much friendly staff on site. Lots and lots of Kangaroos to see ???? Is understandable not to allow dogs into the fenced area because the dog might intimidate the animals at the farm. But at the same time if you do bring your dog (which allow by the farm). That person has to stand outside the fenced area with your dog. Which mean that person can’t go inside to see the Kangaroos. Which kinda wasted that one person’s administration money. Since 95% of the animals is located inside those fenced area.

Wild Roga

Animals are treated with care and respect. Love that each person can interact and also pull away. Great place. Great people.

Car Lover Photography

Great place to go, bin three times now its always a good time, great for kids as well. The new location is nice

Diana Vasquez

Is an amazing family place to visit and all staff are friendly and nice!! 100% we will back????

J A

Just visited the new location. All staff are friendly and there's lots of room for the animals. They gave us popcorn to feed the kangaroos which was cool! Lots of parking and they now take payment by card.

Melanie C

The farm was very big and the kangaroos are so cute! They even have parrots, goats and sugar gliders! Make sure you bring a hat or umbrella on sunny days!

Taryn B

Love how many human behaviour expectations there are, it’s so reassuring!! I’m always conscious of how much space animals have for privacy when exposed to the public. The animals are super sweet & friendly and there was so much room to roam and different types of species. Great spot to stop!!

Reeta Shandil

A wonderful experience for the entire family! I would highly recommend taking your kids here!

Tathianna Yelland

WE LOOOOVE THE KANGAROO FARM... No seriously, we come to visit from kamloops often, the drive is wonderful through falkland! This place never fails us, however when we arrived this time. The lady at the front gate was a little bitter, after telling her we had came for my daughters birthday (Day Of), i asked if they did anything for birthdays, and was reminded "that is my duty as a parent..." thanks. Thats why we came.... LOL after that weird interaction we had a great time, so happy we were able to spend the day outside with the animals! ????????????

Maria Doktorov

Amazing place for kids of all ages: 1-99. My family and I spend great time petting kangaroos, goats and even a porkupine!

Isadora Bros

Beautiful experience with the family. The kangaroos are everywhere and you can pet them and are able to see how they enjoy sharing their habitat with humans.

Mr. Smith

The kangaroo farm was soo much fun. You get to pet them and feed them and the staff is very knowledgeable about them and gives you a very detailed account of them. Great place to bring the family.

Neri Vazquez

So fun. Love to be to close to the animals. I wish for the pandemic to end so they can let hug a baby kangaroo. Nice staff and they remind to be safe around the place.

sabrina gomes

I didn’t hear about this farm until we drove past it yesterday and today we are so happy that we came back to visit. Lots of animals that you can see up close and personal and feed. The staff here were really knowledgeable about the animals they were caring for and answered all of our questions. Some of them even cracked some pretty good jokes! I know because of COVID the experience isn’t the same as it has been in the past from what we’ve heard BUT for $12 an adult it is worth every penny knowing that I am helping a small business that really does care for they’re animals. lastly the food at Roo’s Grill (the food truck) was amazingly priced, the pulled pork sand which was 10/10, all the sauces tasted home made and I appreciated that they had kombucha as an option to drink as I could try some local Kombucha! I can’t wait to visit the farm in the future!!!!!

Keith Law

Great place to take your kids. Lots of interesting animals to pet and see

David Heinrichs

It was fun to interact with the animals. I like that most of the animals are rescues and seem happy

Mason Fehr

This is incredible. You get to pet kangaroos and it’s so cheap to enter. Staff are all super helpful and friendly and knowledgeable, I had an incredible experience and we’ll be back

Shawna Davis

We stopped here on our trip from Oregon and absolutely fell in love with this place although I wouldn't want to come at the high time for tourist season but our visit was absolutely perfect not a lot of people not too hot got to spend some quality time with great volunteers and great animals.

gaurav jain

Great fun place for the family, the staff are so friendly and polite even in the heat wave!! Thanks to everyone who helps runs this place!

Isheta Ahmed

Such a great place! It's a small farm that has kangaroos out in the open for people to pat and feed. They have wallabies, emus, exotic birds and other animals as well. I've never seen a kangaroo before in person, so it was a great experience for me to see so many of them up close. It's a very family friendly place. Lots of kids running around playing with the animals. There are food trucks serving delicious food as well and trust me, the smell of the food will get you super hungry.

Dez Lee

A must see if you have kids. What a neat place where the Roos roam around and your kids can get up close for a unique experience. The staff are fully attentive, for the protection of both the patrons and the animals. There are farm animals to see and pet as well. Parking is not great, streetside only. Visit early if you don't want a long hike to the entrance. The entrance is also at the bottom of a very steep paved hill, so be extra careful with strollers and wagons, or people with mobility issues. Admission is also cash only, I wasn't aware of this and had to hike back up the steep grade to find a bank machine nearby. The only signs that tell you are small and can't be read or seen when driving by. Definitely a worthwhile visit for a family.

Ian Rey Adviento

I never in my lifetime would see a Kangaroo or any of the animals that can be found here in Kangaroo Creek farm. My family was happy that we got the opportunity to visit this place.

Jenn Griffiths

It's fun place for all ages. Friendly staff.

Michael Huang

Highly recommended this place for anyone who visit Kelowna. It's a great family activity. My kids love this place and had tons of fun there with animals

Stephanie C

Great place to visit with kids. Cash or debit only. Many kangaroos, wallaroos and wallabies to look at and feed. Also other animals such as emus, capybaras and pot-bellied pigs. Been here twice and it’s busy in the summer. Recommend coming earlier in the day when there is less people and the animals are out. Later in the day and especially if it’s hot out, they aren’t as active, seek shade and aren’t as hungry. Apparently they are moving to a new location in spring 2020 where their new season will start.

Halsi Sears

Staff were so friendly and informative. High praise for being safety conscious (of both the public and animals). Go early while it’s cool, parking is easy to find and crowds are smaller. The line to hold baby joeys is so worth it!

Nicole

We had a great time seeing all the animals and having lunch

Melody Kaya

This was a very educational and one in a life time experience. The animals were very chill and friendly. The guides were very professional and friendly as well. However, I was very dissapointed to learn that certain animals were not allowed to be held due to covid-19. I wish I was aware of that sooner as I was very excited to pet a sugar glider but was not allowed to do so :( I do however understand their reasoning and appreciate their efforts to keep everyone safe. I would definitely visit the farm again after the regulations are lifted.

Dennis Bowles

Great to be up close and interactive with the animals. Price is reasonable (cash only though). Pretty cool to be able to hold the babies.

Kesler Gaschnitz (KeslerTech)

Great place for outdoors in Kelowna! They have kangaroos, birds, goats, etc.

Myles Mannix

Great afternoon walking and learning about the animals. Kids enjoyed it. The larger area has a few rules on how to interact with the animals but still a great experience. The kids loves feeding them and getting their pictures with them. The wait for to hold the babies was long.

Richard Pogue

Nice place, kids loved it. My little boy (2.5) enjoyed the animals and playing on the fire truck. Some of the Kangaroos were so chilled out. He got so close to one of them but he was more interested in playing in the dirt about a foot away from it. He was picking the dirt up and burying the Kangaroos tail. It didn't seem to mind and just sat there, totally chilled out. We got some great pictures.

Mark Lewis

This was mildly entertaining to see all the little kangaroos and such (I think they're all actually a wallaby). The birds were more fun.

Stephen Somerville

Had a blast at the Kangaroo farm! I'd recommend going in the morning as you can feed the Kangaroos :).

Claus KanT Photography

Love this place, has so much fun and we could use hours and hours here!

Nadila Ale

super nice place to go and see the animals! Is not like a zoo where the animals are not cages, so it feels nice to interact directly with them. The team is very nice and explain everything you ask. Perfect to go with a gruop of frinds or family.

Suraj Khera

Very nice place to come with kids. Watch out for the parrots in the bird area. They don’t like you. The service and everyone is so nice. Everyone seems happy.

Damian Herman

The expanded the site from thr last tike I was here, and there is now so much more room for the animals, and it feels less crowded. I really enjoy coming here.

Mili Palacios

My boys loved it, we'll definitely go back. Very kind staff, clean and organized ????

Ricki Andrews

Kids love it, so many different animals to see. I love that it is hands on and you can interact with the animals. Such a great experience for the kiddos.

Brandon Reed

Informative staff and never felt completely crowded when we were there. Kids loved it!

Alexandra Turner

I love this place. Where else can you feed kangaroos?! I do think the animals are taken care of here and I’m comfortable supporting the family that takes care of the farm! Love coming here! Such a unique experience!

Leo Cook

Staff were great and very friendly. The animals all seemed very happy as well!

Candice H

Great experience for kids! Got to feed and pet the kangaroos. The staff were all super friendly. They also have lots of other animals from Emus, rabbits, birds, flying squirrels, goats, snake, ducks, chicken, capybara and many others.

S S

Staff is so kind and respectful of the animals and visitors, it’s very well kept. I would recommend wearing closed toed shoes as they are dirt pathways. Animals: exotic birds, snake, turtles, turkeys, chickens, emus, capybaras, kangaroos, wallabies, ducks, goats, peacocks.

Jay Cochrane

Cool experience, plenty of kangaroos, wallabies, peacocks, goats and other animals to observe (and some you can pet too!). Food and drinks can be purchased on sight and the washrooms are centrally located. There's even an old fire truck for the kids to play on.

Steve Hammond

The animals are quite chill and the staff are very helpful

The BlackTop Files

We’ve been travelling around BC for the past year and this was definitely our most enjoyable experience to date. Being able to interact with, pet, feed, get up close to and walk with kangaroos, wallabies, capybaras, emus, and more was thoroughly enjoyable. The animals have lots of space to enjoy, they were happy and content, playful, an absolute delight. The staff were really down-to-earth and friendly. Loved the bird house, too, with all its parrots, geckos and snake! We’ve never written a review before but felt compelled to after this visit. Loved it!

Ada Juristovski

Amazing stop for families. Well maintained and spacious farm, impressive array of animals, kind and knowledgeable staff.

Dylan Gavel

Really fun place to go for both kids and adults. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. Staff walk around and hand out lots of food to the guests to feed the different animals.

Jo key

Such a great family friendly place, the animals are so awesome! The interaction with animals and staff is really great. I just wish they had indoor flushable toilets instead of outhouses, the only off putting thing about the whole experience.

Amy

Definitely worth the drive! A neat way to respectfully interact with exotic animals. They have a huge area for a large variety of kangaroos with knowledgeable volunteers that give you food to feed the animals. My favourites were the capybaras - grumpy looking creatures that are quite gentle.

Stan Dworkowski

What a great experience! Terrific price for time very well spent in Kelowna! Kids absolutely loved the experience. A must visit. Feed the kangaroos and hold the babies. Educated staff with very well behaved animals. Fun for all!

DISABILITY BE AWARE (Wheelchairs) Today we went to Kangaroo Creek Farm for the first time since they have moved. The disability parking is quite a distance to the main pay booth. (Quite a nice large open area to transfer out of a bus or vehicle. To our dismay we found that all the walk ways was are covered is loose deep gravel. Wheelchair casters just bury deep into it. We where told buy the gate attendant that chairs come often and mainly stay on the grass...the grass is mainly fine powdery dirt. There are quite a few inclines into the areas with the animals and only accessible by the loose gravel. Each building has a threshold that will require a wheely or a aid to get over. Thresholds are aprox 1-3 inches in places. The main areas to the left are hilly (wheelchair hilly) with again all very loose gravel. we didn't go into the washrooms but we did see a ramp. We used a freewheel and even with that the rear tires pushed into the gravel or soil. I know this is a new location but please please don't expect wheelchairs to visit. You may want to use a packer to pack and smooth the walkways and make the wheelchair parking closer to the gate. We are happy you guys are so good with your animals. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. You guys really treat your animals with care and respect.

Carmen Lee

Great opportunity to hang out with a lot of furry animals that aren't all caged up. You also get a bag of popcorn to feed the animals.

Andrea Guyon

Super fun way to spend a couple of hours. Good covid protocol in place, friendly knowledgeable staff, lots of adorable well cared for animals to enjoy and some animals visitors can pet and interact with. Lots of free parking, clean bathrooms and hand washing stations. There is also hot and cold food available as well as a fruit stand. Worth a visit.

Heinrich Vermeulen

What a great place where young and old can hang out. Really well looked after animals and a beautiful piece of land.

Laura Bensler

Loved our visit to the farm. The kids love to go and see and pet the animals. Really like the layout of the new location. Love the option of the food truck for lunch. Lots of staff around to answer questions and make sure rules are being followed. It was a beautiful day!

Chris

This place is so worth it. They have around 20 kangaroos in the farm. You can even pet some of them and feed them as well. They have exotic birds an other animals too. You can easily spend here a couple of hours to visit all the areas. The staff is super friendly and keep the farm tidy. A must visit if you are in Kelowna

Jennifer Nolan

Love this place!! We got to pet kangaroos! I took 4 kids for my 42nd birthday and we had so much fun! Great price and fantastic amenities. The animals seem very comfortable, relaxed and happy. The zoo staff was very friendly and really informative. We will be back next year!

L M

One of the best farms I've ever been to. They have so many animals and you get to interact with so many of them. The staff are knowledgeable and seem to love what they do, and I love that the farm trusts guests to guide themselves around and interact with animals on their own. Highly recommend!

Shheene Vee

It was awsome the kids had a great time and so did I amazing staff good food loved the experience

Eileen Petryshyn

This place is a great first stop in Kelowna, as it’s right beside the airport. One side you can pet the kangaroos and other animals, and one side is just view. The prices are cheap, and they have their own concession as well.

Liana Huang

Great attraction to check out while in Kelowna. Kangaroos galore.

kali Hoisington

Great way to spend half a day. Perfect for days with a bit of shade when it's too cold to be on the lake, the animals are more comfortable too. Not just for kids! And affordable.

prabha ashok

A must place to visit if you go to Kelowna friendly and knowledgeable staff. Kids will love this place

Daniel Kocsis

Such an amazing experience to be able to run around with such a wide variety of animals that have lots of space to go around and interact with people. Very Clean and well maintained facility that I would love to come back to!

Jane C

Great place for kids and adults alike. I love the array of different creatures they have that you can touch and interact with. Had food at the food truck that was great. We were there for 3 hours and had a great time. lots of parking too.

Iris Chen

I want to give five stars to all the amazing animals and friendly staffs in the farm, but nothing for the lady at the gate. She’s such a racist and was mean to us while being friendly to the locals. She never answers your polite question in the same polite way. Our kid got sick in the farm and we were a bit behind the closing hour. Though we explained the reason, she got furious and super rude to us. A person like her that does not show any sympathy to kids does not even deserve working in such a lovely farm.

Justin Plosz

I was absolutely blown away on how cool this place was! These Kangaroos let you walk right up to them and take pictures with them. They eat leaves and drink water tight out of your hands. I would definitely come back, great bang for your buck. Super cool and im happy we went. Great work, the animals all look happy. Just a lil drive outside Kelowna, definitely worth the trip.

Yuri Grozenok

I loved the place. Great place to visit with your kids to watch and interact with animals. Very friendly staff who are always happy to talk about specific animals. Some kangaroos are shy but many let you pet them. Other animals are great too - goats, sugar gliders, emus. The facility is work in progress but its coming along nicely. I know it's new so totally understand. Can use a small cafe-type place. Well worth the visit, kids loved it.

Lelaina Lindsay

We had so much fun here. Animals are so calm and happy.

Mark M

2014... Great Place!!! We were in Kelowna to visit my parents and heard about Kangaroo Creek Farm so headed over there one night after dinner. We spent over 2 hours there holding baby kangaroos and playing with all the great animals here. We would recommend to everyone that this is a must to visit. 5 years later, we are back... My daughter and I spent all day at their new location next to the Kelowna airport and had a great visit.

Kristi O'Neil

Cool place to stop if you have children. They let you get right in there with the animals. Staff were pleasant and informative.

Josh Stanley

Fun place to see animals up close.

Kere Zimmerman

Very cool experience. Kind + knowledgeable staff. Definitely a great place for kids to pet, learn + engage.

Lise Rouleau

So nice. Not huge but perfect for an hour or two!!!

Josh Henry

We heard about this place through some friends that were all visiting at the same time. The reviews and stars for this place so not give it justice. The staff is very friendly, so are the animals...if you treat them like the instructions tell you. It's an excellent walk through, with lots to see. Probably 1-2 hours max is about all you'll want to spend unless you want to sit and read a book with the animals. The birds are all friendly and love getting petted. Make sure you stop and say hi to them. If you have kids they will love feeding popcorn to the emu and the food that is provided to the kangaroos. Overall, the price is right, don't drive through Kelowna area without stopping here.

Ash Murphy

Wonderful place! Absolutely lovely staff. Super easy to get to. Animals are all well very cared for, tidy and clean grounds, beautiful unique farm decor for great photo ops! Even a vintage fire truck. We had a great time! Will definitely be back! Thank you for the great morning! :)

Kevin Aalders

Great place for families to see and interact with a number of animals you wouldn't otherwise see in Canada. Can be very busy during summer months when kids are off school

Claire Wang

What a wonderful place to visit while in Kelowna! We enjoyed every bits of it and is already talking about going back! You get to hold and feed baby kangaroos, watch them roam free right in front of you, and pat some less common animals. We spent a couple hours here and only left because it was closing. The admission is also super reasonable. $10 adult and kids under 4 free. Thank you for the amazing farm! We will definitely be back!

Cameron C.

As a kid, I always came up to Kelowna but the kangaroo farm did not exist at the time. Now I'm over 30 and even though I came here with my wife and a bunch of adults, it was a really neat experience. I've been to Steve Irwin Zoo in Brisbane, Australia and obviously this Kangaroo farm is nothing compared to Steve's zoo. However, on the positive side, you can come to this farm to pet goats (aggressive AF), and pet Kangaroos. You can also feed the kangaroos which is fun and get some awesome pictures. We came on a nice day and it was super hot...so this may have made the experience better. At $10 (cash only) per person, it is worth money. Side note/tip: if you are visiting from out of town and coming from the Lower mainland, I found out that the vendor selling peaches there are quite reasonable. Reason is being I went to another upick, and the price was more $$ per pound. Check this place out. It's fun and it's great for the kids!!!

Nicole Perreault

Love visiting here! The animals are great and the staff is friendly. My little person always enjoys anything where he can pet an animal with permission. The staff is knowledgeable and glad to assist you learning about the peculiarities of each animals personality!

Michael Fleischmann

If you love kangaroos, then this is the destination for you. Price for a family of four comes in around 40 dollars which is good for what you get. This is a new/newer location and that is a good thing as parking is way more ample. There is a food truck as well. Keep in mind many of the animals roam around so keep an eye out for droppings.

Dillon Dubois

1 employee was mean young girl with piercings. They do an okay job telling people the rules. Otherwise an amazing experience. Kangaroos were amazing.

Eggo less

Excellent use of $10. Can feed goats, emus, chickens, turkies and more. I highly recommend coming here at least once to see some animals you can't normally see here in the Great White North.

Joshua Brunsdon

Twas a blast to take the kids here for sure. Maybe some more seating and more selection of food choices? If I'm gonna spend the day there with the kids, I'd absolutely love to have more selection to eat, because interacting with with animals, is an absolute heart warming experience.

Epic Gamer 007

Absolutely amazing, animals are adorable staff was so friendly. New location is massive and Absolutely stunning

Susan Steele

Excellent place to visit where else can you actually pet a kangaroo and the capybaras are so friendly excellent place to take children and adults to learn about all the interesting animals there. Two thumbs up

Tracy W

Great place to bring your family. Animals are a pleasure to be around. Great photo opportunities. Staff is amazing.

Kyle Kivi

Awesome! Great place to take your kids and entrance fees are very reasonable compared to the usual places. Kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos, parrots, turkeys, goats and so many more I can't remember the names to. Worth the time to go and definitely worth the money.

Peter

Love this animal sanctuary. Animals are happy having lots of real estate to move around it. This is highly recommended place to visit if visiting Kelowna.

Chad Borne

Easy & quick getaway to take the family to. Kill over an hour doing something different in Kelowna! Check it out!

Ana Martinez

Lovely place to visit and pet kangaroos and other animals like chickens, goats, emu and capybaras. The staff is very friendly and they take good care of the animals. A lot of picnic tables, you can bring your own food or buy it there, is not expensive at all. We enjoy our time at the farm.

Wes Quist

Must visit. It's an amazing experience to be with animals and the staff are friendly. The kangaroos where so cute, but my favorite was the porcupine. The have enus, turtles, goats, parrots and other animals here

leesa tran

One of the few zoos that actually allow you to pet the animals (not sure about now because of covid) but I loved this place. Staff are friendly and the kangaroos are so fun. Catching them hop was so fun to watch.

Sue

Such a neat place to visit. Family friendly. Food/snacks available. Lots of animals including exotic birds, bunnies, goats, ducks, peacocks and of course kangaroos. Reasonable entrance fees. Clean and well kept.

Salina F

Kid friendly and there are more than just kangaroos. The place isn’t too big, which is perfect for younger kids.

Michael Scott

It's a nice place for the kids to run around and check out the different animals . Petting zoo for three types of kangaroos and lots of birds . Goats and even some reptiles

Jenna Shapiro

Awesome!!! Animals are so loved and taken care of.

Ryan Zacharias

Very cool. Lots of cute animals. It was fun ????

chris kumar

Kids really enjoyed hanging out here. Nice to come to an attraction that does not break the bank

Karen Atkins

Great place to see unique wildlife. Staff is very informative and pleasant answering all your questions. Great for kids of all ages.

Michael Zhong

Kids friendly place. The animals are so cute even adults cannot refuse to love them. The staffs are friendly and with safety awareness.

Melanie Robertson

Wonderful! Worth every penny and you need to take your time enjoy. The animals are very patient, thank heavens and we purchased some beautiful photos from Adam Skalzub while we were there!

Fernanda Araujo Costa

The farm was super clean and nice! You can see that the animals are treated very well by the staff and are also docile. There are only a couple of options for snacks and ice cream, and outside there a very cute stand where a photographer sell his pictures of the kangaroo and other wild animals from around BC.

Sara Mansouri

Pretty cool place to explore!

Wendy Hunter

Great fun. Lots of open space for people and the animals. Staff are knowledgeable.

Lisa Chen

Super fun! Lots of animals to see, pet, and feed. Friendly staff.

Tania W

As always, lots of animals to check out and feed. Which is fun for the kids and adult kids as well. Would suggest they update their website on prices as we planned according to their website for payment only to get there and be told 5 yr old is now $5. (They now say 4 & younger free) That’s fine, but they have updated their site for moving details, the prices need to be updated as well.

Neil Young

Awesome place to visit!

Victoria Soucy

Such a neat place! Freely roaming kangaroos that just let you pet them, what a cool experience! Friendly knowledgeable staff with so many places to wash your hands which is good. Bird aviary is neat too. Thoroughly enjoyed this place and reasonable prices! Unfortunately we went later in the day so no food left to feed the animals but still had a great time.

Brian Saturnino

It's not a zoo where they are in cages. It's a farm where you can get up close and personal with kangaroos and a variety of other animals like emus, birds, goats, and many others.

Edel Lopez

This place is magical! A lot of visitors everyday but still they manage to have a staff member always around taking care of the beautiful animals and avoiding crazy kids unattended being rough with the animals. Loved it and my favorites like I’m sure many others, were the capybaras! What amazing animals!

Nathan Hales

Kids enjoy such kind of places. Kangaroo and other animals are lovable to watch. Friendly and helpful staff.

Dariush Adim

Wonderful, thanks for your attention and service

Andy Chung

Awesome place. $10 per adult, $5 per under 15. Enough animals to see. Kids didn’t want to leave. Busy place. If you want to hold wallaby cubs, be there early. Easily one hour line up to hold the cubs.

Roberta Jansen

I've come back to this farm (new location) after my last visit 5 years ago and wow what a huge improvement from their last location! My whole family went with kids aged 2-15 and adults into their golden years and everyone had an amazing time! Staff was very pleasant and informative. Animals were super sweet and friendly. There are kangaroos, wallabies, goats, emus, capybaras, fancy chickens, pigs, parrots and probably more than I can remember off hand. We went first thing in the morning and I think that's a wise choice especially if going during the summer when super hot out. We arrived at opening and stayed for about an hour the large parking lot was definitely full when we packed up to leave.

Kori Nadine

Absolutely LOVED it here!!! Kangaroos have always been an animal I've wanted to see in person and my dream finally came true. They definitely brighten your mood ???? also loved seeing all the other animals there. Definitely a place I will be going to in the future when I can make the trip again.

Kuldeep Singh

This place is great fun for kids.. for exotic birds(indore) you still need mask (july-aug 2021) see my pics for more info. Some animals were very sad looking that part I dont like about this pkace

Kay

Admission price is affordable, animals are cute and look happy and healthy. The staff was friendly. Washrooms were clean, lots of hand washing stations around the farm. Something fun to do while in Kelowna!

Maurice S

Amazing experience. A nature reserve mixed with a petting zoo. Great staff and phenomenal experiences. Go there!

Cody Miller

Knowledgable keepers of the different animals! The staff were very friendly and kept the areas where you interact with the animals very clean, especially for the amount of animals in the enclosures. The animals themselves are very much cared for and we had a great experience here. Kids/families would love it here as well.

Helena Biasibetti Brendler

The kangaroo are really docile and you can feed them popcorn.

Mandy Sheppard

Everytime I go to Kelowna it's a must stop. New farm has so much room. Great place to interact with animals you may never have the chance to see or learn about in person. Must go to experience

Victoria Roberts

Cutest experience! Lots to learn here, great day for the family, lots of kids and affordable to! It’s cool to go and learn about these foreign animals and we were lucky enough to get to see some of the joeys while there! ????

Mike Adams

Great place for the family. Employees could be more friendly, reptile girl was exceptional rude.

orangecheesekj

New location for zoo. Much bigger, more organized, better facilities, lots of washing stations, excellent staff, lots of differant animals that are treated very well.

Sonya Eaton

This was our second visit to the Kangaroo Farm, our first was in 2016, so the other site. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, seeing the Capybara's was first on our list of things to do. Number two was seeing the Wallabies, especially one named Sonya, not sure how you guys spell it but I'm gonna spell it with a "y" like my name! Anyway, I was told she was still with the Farm and she'd had a Joey. I was ever so happy to hear this news! We wandered around visiting all the animals and critters, petted, fed and laughed at the antics of the creatures on Farm, it was delightful, thank you so much for all you do to keep this Farm open for people to visit the animals and critters!

Meghan Crawford

If you are visiting the Kelowna area, this is one of the most fun experiences you can have. They have tons of animals that you can interact with and the staff are super friendly. The staff are also very knowledgeable about the animals and have no problem having a chat and sharing what they know. Parking can be a bit tricky, but that's to be expected for a popular attraction.

ROBERT L

Best place ever kids loved the animals it is so awesome Never seen such cool animals and such a beautiful place to walk around very pleasant experience ????????????????

Yuliya Milroy

We really had a great time here!! If you want to see Roo’s you gotta stop by.

Liz Chepil

Super awesome place, absolutely LOVED it!! The animals are all so tame & friendly- the Wallaroos are very gentle & eat popcorn right out of your hand & the Kangaroos are so incredibly soft! The staff were great, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. So glad we decided to make a detour to visit this place! I will definitely make time go again & again whenever I'm in the area. If you're an animal lover, I highly recommend visiting Kangaroo Creek Farm if you have the opportunity!

Ernie Kasper

A wonderful place and the staff are pretty good. A little trouble with disability rate but they cleared it all up very professionally and so I give it a four star! ????

savana “Hope” fehr

Really loves the place, the kangaroos and goats looked really hot though which was a little concerning but I'm sure they are used to it haha. One of the staff members was a little rude in the entrance aswell which was a little upsetting. Otherwise 10/10 worth the visit!

Nathan Sproxton

Great fun family friendly place with all kinds of animals you can pet and see

Alina Koval

Awesome farm with both exotic and familiar animals for people to pet, feed and interact with. Although not all animals are available for petting, and the food has to be from the park itself (I think it's the goats you can feed), this is an amazing place for both adults and kids. The kangaroos are friendly (or at least tolerant) and the capybaras and goats are also willing to meet people. The exotic birds, as well as the beautiful ducks (solid black!) and chickens are more skittish but still fun to look at and photograph. Definitely worth a visit.

will foley

Cash only! Friendly staff lots of unique animals and baby kangaroos. Be prepared for a bit of a line up to feed them when available.

Morgan George

What's with the 3pm closing on a Saturday? My group arrived at 2 and barely got to see the other half of the farm. Barely = whisked out of the 2nd area at exactly 3pm. Great place with horrible hours

Tereza Fišerová

We've had a great time there. The location, staff and enviroment is perfect. Animals were lovely. Denifitely worth the money and visit!

Alona H

My kid can spend all day there

Sassy Lassie Michelle Ball LaPlace

An excellent farm facility. Friendly and informed staff. We had a great afternoon!

Rob Ewanuk

Took my little girl, a few months old, my girlfriend and my niece, in her early teenage years and all of us loved this! We got to hold the little Joey's and see/pet all sorts of different animals. Just to be sure that you being in cash, to get in the gate. Very reasonable prices to get in.

Jesse Rudge

So great to take your kids here. Fantastic.

Alora B

This is a fun place to take photos with animals. It is really annoying that only cash is accepted and there is no debit machine on site. Also half price admission is only available when they open at 9am (July and August) Staff is friendly enough. They hand out food to feed the animals. There are also cool antique pieces on the farm to explore and take photos of. There is a line to hold the baby kangaroos so go early. The staff will take a picture of you if you ask them to. A good place for kids.

David Wilkinson

Fun for kids of all ages as you get to interact and pet kangaroos, capybara, goats and sugar gliders

Aleesha J

Really interesting place and well worth the price of entry! Great place to teach kids to pet nice and respect an animals personal space, too bad a lot of the garbage parents I seen had to have the staff try and give their snotty kids that lesson. Staff and the animals deserve a medal in patience. Try not to be that jerk, if you don't care, I hope your kid gets bit or back kicked.

Robert Ashton

Been to the Kangaroo Creek Farm back and the old location and at the new one. Every time I come is a great time. The staff are friendly as well as all the animals. It’s a fantastic places for people of any age. Make sure you feed the emus and give the capybaras some good scratches! Can’t wait to go back!

Rebecca Li

Friendly farm and animals, nice handout on weekends.

M R (cndn_hippo)

Love this place so much!!! They expanded substantially since I last was here about 4 years ago, so if you haven't been in a while expect a different entrance from a completely different area. Their Covid protocols are fantastic and in no way interfere with your enjoyment of the facilities. Sure, there's hardly any interacting with the animals now but honestly that's best for them. Definitely make a point to come here when you drive through town. Heck, make a point to come to check just for this reason alone. When they DO bring back physical interaction with the animals, specifically holding the joeys, make sure you come first thing in the morning otherwise prepare for a long wait.

Brandon Yeung

Great experience, came here with my family,we all loved it here, nice staff and lots of fun knowledges.

Nicole White

What a beautiful little sanctuary! Definitely an experience! When We went it was very hot but we had a blast! Baby Emus are crazy... lol ????

Anton Babiy

Lovely kangaroos, wallabies, capybaras, and others! Fun place to visit for all ages!

A great experience for awesome value. The most important thing is how good the staff care for the animals. You get so up close and also a great place to bring your kids to interact and learn about these great creatures. Most importantly I learnt a lot about kangaroos amongst other animals, especially that they love popcorn!!

I love this place!!!!!!! An excellent place for kids and adults to go. A great family outing. There was a school group there the day I was visiting. The kids were having a great time. The animals and birds are accessible for everyone to interact with.

Maria M.

Great experience for all. Busy and parking can be an issue. An old firetruck on site as well.

devan wiancko

What a great place and wonderful experience came here with friends when it wasn't to busy and had a great time seeing and petting a wide variety of small and large animals. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place as a great day trip for both young and old

Dela

One of my earliest memories of visiting Kelowna includes a stop at the Kangaroo Creek Farm! It’s definitely a place worth seeing, with its incredible animals, friendly staff, and family-friendly environment. I don’t know many places across Canada that offer such a unique opportunity to engage with animals in a way that is both respective and safe for the animals and memory-making for the guests!

Sandra Spencer

Awesome experience being able to walk around with these exotic animals!! Very affordable, great way to spend an early afternoon.

Shirley Abi-Ad

Nice way to spend the afternoon with the family. The kangaroos are friendly. The kids enjoyed feeding the animals. They give you a bag of food when you enter to feed them during your visit which was nice.

Dave Matun

What a great way to spend an hour or so letting our little ones se and pet some animals. Very friendly staff. Kids loved being up close to so many various animals.

Voyager [*]

Great place to spend time with my family, learn something new about these beautiful animals, feed them with popcorn provided once you buy ticket. Big farm, very well maintained, friendly and professional service provided by the staff.

Bri T

New facility, bigger and better than the last. Happy animals.

Sam Hudson

This farm was a wonderful place to encounter animals not commonly seen in North American zoos. The close encounters with the animals and engagement by the staff was a wonderful experience any animal lover would enjoy. They space their schedule out to give the animals rest between visiting periods and the enclosures look comfortable for the animals.

Lanson

Its awesome! All the animals are so friendly, happy, and the staff is the same!

greedy elc

This place is so much fun! I didn’t even expect it ???? Adults and kids both will enjoy their time here!

Rodd Carroll

Great place to visit, with or with out kids. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of animals to see.

Michael Pavlov

Great place, fun for the whole family!

Lisa Tam

Really amazing experience at the kangaroo farm! Staff were helpful and really enthusiastic about their job. There are 4 main sections for interacting with animals.

Vlad Pomogaev

Pretty good farm. Pretty cool that you can pet some animals like the kangaroos. Friendly staff. Thanks Judy!

David Kai

Staff is incredible!!!! What a fantastic family experience. We have gone every year for 3 years in a row since discovering this gem. They have lots of washrooms and washing stations. Food is available for purchase. The kids get to pet and feed animals that are incredibly unique in our climate. Bring lots of sunscreen and drinking water, but it is a great way too spend 2 1/2 hours ... My favorite is always the baby goats. Suitable for well-behaved kids of all ages. And the price .... You CAN'T beat it!!! Wonderful, affordable activity. We'll be back!

Rebecca Vanderhorst

Such a delightful place! Took my family here for an afternoon and we had a great time feeding the kangaroos, emus, wallabies, and more! Very reasonable entrance fee - $10 for adults, $5 for kids, 4 and under are free. Definitely recommend a trip out here if you are in the area! Just be prepared to park on the street or in the lot walk down a steep hill to get to the actual farm.

Jeff Jones

Yesterday was the first time we had visited the new location for the Kangaroo Farm, we were very impressed it all is looking great and the animals all seem happy. I like it even more than the old place. You get a good feeling when you walk in to the farm. The staff are all very knowledgeable and pleasant. They answer all your questions. It is really well layed out great job. We will be back many times. Babs and Jeff Jones.

Paige Beauregard

I've always loved going to the kangroo farm, however this past trip I was l shocked and disappointed of how they almost ENCOURAGE you to take off your mask upon entry. It was very full, some areas were crowded and not a single person was wearing a mask. What??? We're still in a pandemic, this is totally unacceptable.

Michael Iveson

I didn't know we had kangaroos in Canada anywhere. . But they do as you can see

Dr. One Life

I didn't know we had kangaroos in Canada anywhere. . But they do as you can see

Bare-E Raws

This was a real great place to visit. Only 10 bucks per person. There was some very knowledgeable and caring people to ask questions and animals were all very calm and friendly which allows great photo opportunities for the family and/or friends. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It is also nice to know that they have adopted many birds that came from people who were no longer able to take care of them!

Rubayed Nehal

Love this farm. Small but entertaining. If you are in Kelowna you must visit here for your experience

Ricki Lynn

Favorite outing in the interior. We've been twice. Limited shade, so be prepared with lots of water, hat, sun screen etc., if it's hot out. So many interesting animals to enjoy, pet, and feed.

L D

What a great experience for all ages. It's one of a kind only because you can't see these types of animals anywhere else without spending a fortune. Parking is a little frustrating as it's mostly on the road if the spare lot is full. Very cheap entertainment price wise and keeps the kids busy.

kingxl10

This place is just super awesome. Enough said.

Karina Veras

We loved our experience. Btw they accept credit cards.

EsprLife

Perfect place to visit with kids. Make sure to bring cold water for kids since the weather gets too hot in summer.

Allen Smith

Relaxed place to interact with the kangaroos plus other animals. The super large rodent was grumpy and agitated at the time which was interesting to watch.

TheLawnmowerHospital

Just can't believe how much fun we had. The staff was extremely informative. Lots to see and such a great value. Definitely going back.

S B

Wow this place is worth the money hands down. You get to pet the animals and take pictures. What a great surprise for my kid.

Indy Dhial

Amazing location and the animals were amazing!!!

EA

Great place, many animals and birds, close to the airport, there are food and drink options on site.

Jackelyn Baer

What a great place! My three year old loved it! I can't believe how you can feed and pet real life kangeroos, wallabies and more.

Chandrew Rajakumar

Really cool experience. We loved it and so did the kids! In one area you can feed and pet kangaroo, wallaby, and wallaroo. They also have goats, bunnies and birds. It's a very cool place.

Katherine L

This place is fantastic. The admission fee is almost too cheap for what you’re getting as it’s a great experience. All of the staff are so nice, you see and hear them interacting with the animals in such a sweet way! The property is very nice, the animals are well kept and friendly :). It’s nice to not wear a mask and just be able to enjoy something, They provide plenty of sanitizer and hand washing stations to stay germ free. Absolutely loved it and will be back. It certainly is best to get there early, it wasn’t to busy when we came at about 10:20. But by the time we were leaving you can tell the pace picks up.

ARJUN S

Very nice place. Clam environment and very mingling kangaroos and capybara (the largest of the rodent family). Staff will give you some animal food depending on the animal. But Some of the staff are too picky when giving you the animal feed. The kangaroos are relatively young and haven't developed their sacks. Unhygienic ???? toilets. The park is a bit over priced as they only have 2 mingling animals. They should increase their collection.

Sean O'Hair

Best part of my trip. They let you hold baby kangaroos! Need I say more? You can see emu chicks! Why aren't you there now?

Rebecca Lorch

I loved this place !! All kinds of cool animals - loved the sugarglider and capybaras. Such a good value for dollar, would go again.

Karina Gaivoronska

A very nice place to spend the day with the kids. 10$ for adults, 5$ for kids. It looks like the animals are very good taken care of !) Highly recommend to visit !

Malithi Dewage

Nice place to spend a day with your kids....

Sue Kim

When I heard about this place from my friend before our family day trip, I didn't expect too much. But it was actually very fun. All of our family members were so excited to see and to pet all different kinds of animals they care. Kangaroo was the one of the best part in the farm because they are very friendly and cute. They are not afraid of people at all. Some staffs are carrying the snacks for animals to let the people try to feed them. Freely ask them to give you some to try. They are very friendly staffs, too. All my kids had really fun time to play with these all wonderful animals in the farm. And remember that they only accept Cash for admission. But I felt it is very good price.

John William Wade

Incredible fun! Incredible value! This is a must see for any family traveling to Kelowna! PRO TIP- I recommend going at opening in the morning as the lines will be shorter and the kangaroos will be hungrier for the the leaves that you can feed them. It is really easy to find the place, located near the airport and there is plenty of parking. The experience of actually petting the soft and cuddly kangaroos is amazing! They loved to be pet! There are other fun animals in other enclosures too such as goats and a capybara as well. The turkeys are very colourful and there are Emus to look at too. Plan on taking a few hours here to relax and mingle with the animals. Don't rush. Your kids will thank you. There are refreshments sold here as well as burgers and poutine. They all taste good and credit and debit is taken everywhere so it is quick and convenient. There are also plenty of places to sit down and relax while kids run around and enjoy. Go here! Your kids will be happy and spent so you can be happy and relaxed.

Jeremy Williams

This was a wonderful experience, my partner and I came here for our birthdays and really enjoyed it. So many friendly animals and the staff was great!

Josh O'Keefe

Great experience. Reasonable to get in at $10. The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. The animals are well cared for. Very interactive and awesome personalities with the animals!! We had a blast.

Abe Bueckert

Highly recommend! Secluded from the city but still easily accessible. The kangaroos are super friendly and the Bird Barn with the parrots is a must see!!

Iqbal Mohammadi

If you are in Kelowna with kids, then don't skip this park. You can have a close contact with lots of cools animals, especially Kangaroos. Kids could spend hours and hours in this park. Highly recommended.

Vladislav Potapov

Magnificent place. Kangaroos are amazing. A lots of birds. Strongly recommended for visiting, if you will be in wonderful Kelowna ????????????...

Jana Kivi

Our family visited Kangaroo Creek Farm today. Our 2 year old grandson was excited to see the variety of animals and we were all pretty thrilled to pet wallabies! Hand washing stations everywhere in deference to Covid and reminders from the staff regarding social distancing. Such a great attraction nestled in behind the Kelowna airport. Glad we went, would definitely recommend.

Mark Hope

Pretty great place for children and animal lovers. Keep in mind: Cash only, and closed between 2-6pm for the sake of the animals.

Carolyn Potts

It was a very hot day but we enjoyed seeing all the unusual animals from all over the world ????

Ayesha Khan

This farm is so amazing!!! It’s such a cool experience! The animals are so cute and my kids loved it more than anything! I wish they had something like this where I live. The price is incredible for what you get to do and the animals are so calm and chilled out. If you’re in Kelowna you MUST try this. The people are really nice and the animals are well kept. I hope this place does well and I can come back to visit again soon! Also make sure to come right at 10 am! Even on weekdays they are really busy so if you want to come when it’s less busy come then.

Manthan Kakadia

Friendliest kangaroos you will ever meet. Love this place. Must visit.

Desi Princess

Love going here with the family every time we visit. Great place to show animals they would never see usually. Staff is great....very friendly and easy with information about the animals.

Austin Lynch

Amazing experience. You get to hold baby kangaroos (about 30 minute wait for us), and walk around with adult kangaroos, emus, goats and more. Definitely worth the $10 entry

Carie Bissonnette

Can't say enough good things about our experience here! The staff and volunteers were amazing and informative those animals are so well taken care of, the property is authentic and absolutely as described by other visitors. Not just for kids many adults there and there is something for everyone. An experience you don't get at any zoo or petty zoo we have been at.

Sammi Strong

The farm was nice, lots of animals to see (goats, kangaroos, wallabies, emus). Covid procedures were good, with masks, hand sanitizer stations, and one way directions being used. I wish there could have been more direction provided, to make sure everything was seen.

Bharat Dhingra

Awesome place. Unique animals species roaming freely among the people. Everybody really enjoyed the whole experience.

Justin Liou

The experience was amazing, considering it’s my first time meeting so many different and new animals! There were kangaroos, emus, chickens, birds and much more!!

Vince Poil

This place was cool. I liked it because it didn’t feel too cramped, yet it wasn’t too big that you had to commit your whole day. The animals were amazing, I’ve never seen a kangaroo up close before and it was really cool to be able to pet them and see them just chilling and looking after their joeys. They have other animals too; parrots, capybara, maras, goats, peacocks and a couple of others I’ve forgotten. Well worth a half day visit, especially if you have young kids.

Steve Lyons

Great place to bring the kids! Drove up from Burnaby to take my son. The staff were great and helpful! Very close to the airport (YLW), so if you have a bit of time before your flight, rest assured you’ll make it back in time!

Pam Bilusack

Good value for the price! Wish the kangaroos would have been hopping around when I was there, but it was too hot for them! Tip - wear good shoes/runners. And if you have handicapped parking, there's an area to drive down the hill (at entrance) for parking.

Kimberly Kay

Really beautiful, you can touch most of the animals and highest tech out houses I have ever seen

Kendra Nickerson

This is a fantastic place to visit. Very organized, clean and well planned. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. However, it saddened me to see how many visitors did not follow the instructions provided by the farm (and the guidelines on the website, if they read them). It was very, very busy (11:30am Friday) and the number of families with kids that let them chase animals, run screeching towards animals, and/or simply forgot about social distancing was incredible. People without kids mainly focussed on getting the best photo op, monopolizing an animal until they got the right pic for their Instagram feed while others waited.

Tere Arboleda

We had so much fun at the farm. Kids and adults enjoyed and love tye place. Affordable too. We love to go back again ❤️

MotoCyclePath

Great petting zoo for the kids and adults too! There are lots of animals too see like Kangaroos, wallabies, capybara, parrots, ducks, chickens, turtles, frogs, sugar gliders, peacocks, etc. They’re only open from 10am to 3pm, we can right at 10am on a Saturday avoid long lines. We spent about a couple of hours to explore and enjoy the place and by the time we were leaving the place was super busy. Highly recommend to come here early! Overall a good visit for the family. We got to pet a lot of animals and the kids loved it.

Edward McIntyre

Kangaroo Creek Farm was great. My kids loved it and you get to interact with a ton of animals. Get there early and because its quite busy. One drawback is that the way finding signage is poor and as I read in a few reviews before our visit - the front of line staff is is less then friendly. When we asked "Do we start over here?" she snappily said "Do whatever what you want" and turned away. No park information was offered, no maps, poor signage. Nostalgia factor is high, customer service is low.

Natalie Turpin

Had THE BEST TIME! I am a grown a** woman and I felt like a kid interacting with all the lovely animals. Priscilla the porcupine loved getting scratches behind the ears and the roos were so soft and sweet. One of the best parts about the farm is the young people working there who are super friendly, knowledgeable, and interactive talking about the animals they clearly LOVE very much.

Tyson K

Great experience. If you're thinking, oh no another marineland or Tiger-king situation, that's definitely NOT the case. The staff, all great people, everyone we talked to were sincere animal lovers and lived and breathed for the place. The treat the animals very well. Where else can you see Kangaroos in BC, let alone Canada. Maybe at some Zoos but here yiu can feed, touch, and play with them. Definitely a place to bring the kids.

A popular attraction for all ages and a definite hit for the kids. You can walk along side several animals such as capybaras, porcupines, turkeys, baby goats, and kangaroos. On the other side, there is an area where you can interact with the animal friends even more by petting them.

George Jacob

A good place if you want to see a bunch of different species of birds, not to mention the Kangaroos, Wallabies and miniature horses

Joshua Brunsdon

Twas a blast to take the kids here for sure. Maybe some more seating and more selection of food choices? If I'm gonna spend the day there with the kids, I'd absolutely love to have more selection to eat, because interacting with with animals, is an absolute heart warming experience.

Jesse Mould

Had a fantastic visit with the kids. All the kids had ALOT of fun. The animals were very active, entertaining, and friendly. Staff were all over the park keeping people and animals in check. The staff was also very covid aware. Food from the gut truck was also very good, the French fries were AMAZING!. Park was clean and well maintained With cleaning stations avalible guests. Recommend 100%

Tim Yorke

Was an interesting visit, learned some interesting facts about different animals, and got to pet kangaroos, wallabees, and wallaroos, amongst others ????

Denise Matela

Our first time seeing kangaroos and the highlight is that one mama kangaroo with a little joey in her pouch! It's amazing. They also have emu, goat, capybara, wallaby, etc. I think the place is perfect for kids.

Geoff Pedder

my son loved it, lots of animals to get up close to. It was busy but there seems to be enough room to keep apart as it's quite open.

Katelyn Hart

A wonderful place to bring the kids! My little ones had a total blast.

Renato Laureano

Great experience to be up close to these beautiful kangaroos and the other animals.

Jamie Craig

Fun place, really had a great time. Don't miss stopping here with your family, my son was having a blast interacting with all the exotic animals. It was very busy when I was there, so I would expect waits for certain things, such as holding the little joeys. Make sure to bring a wagon or stroller if you have toddlers. There is no running allowed in the kangaroo enclosure, so you will want a way to make sure you can keep toddlers in check. Worth every penny.

Steen S

Came here July 2021. This place was so much fun! Loved being able to feed and pet the kangaroos. Lot's of other animals to see there as well.

Awesome place for the family w/ dogs being allowed as well. Variety of things to see. Recommend checking the farm out! People are allowed to pet and feed the kangaroos.

jkedmn

Best place for kids activities , so many different kind of Kangaroo and you can pet them .very well kept property . Absolutely recommended.

kae-lynn sorensen

This was a very cool experience! Well kept and friendly staff. Fun for the whole family! They have lots of other animals too!

Leo Bartels

Went once with my 19 month old and friends with a 3 and 5 year old. Everyone loved it So fun Lots of different animals. Birds ect. Some good shady areas and some full sun areas. Lots for kids to do. Good for a 2-3 hour visit I'd think. They have a food truck that looks like decent standard food truck food. Good washrooms. $12 for an adult so it's plenty cheap. I really enjoyed it and will take my daughter back many times.

Rain Bautista

Staff were very knowledgeable about the animals and the experience was very fun. Good for families with kids.

Nildeepsinh Parmar

Great place for young Kids and todlers. I wish this place get some more support from community so that it can continue to grow.

Chris Ducharme

Fun! All I can say about it! If you like animals, go check it out!

Dan Barbu

Loved this place. It’s been a dream of ours to see and pet kangaroos, and we were glad we could do so in Canada in a safe manner. The animals were very tame and friendly, and we had a great time walking around the grounds, seeing a flying squirrel, some parrots and a baby kangaroo.

Lysa the Informal Carer

Worth the visit. It is interactive (c/o the different animals), informative (c/o by the friendly staff).

Nicholas Guindon

This was an incredible experience. The kangaroos are so friendly and love neck scratches just like dogs. Wow!

teeth eaters anonymous

CUTE!!! My lifelong dream of seeing a capybara irl has been fulfilled. Also, YOU CAN PET ALL THE ANIMALS (other than the emus, because they’re hell-spawn and aren’t even allowed to mingle with the other animals).

Alejandro.A Becerra.C

Nice to visit in B.C, interesting experience for kids and adults also to touch some animals and have close contact with exotic fauna

Galaxy P7

Best place I visited better than the Zoo . Loved it !!

Branden Kensington Siegle

Unfortunately when we went, we misread the time on their site and thought it was open until 7 when it's really only open until 3pm. Luckily we still got there in time to have a quick 30 minute walk around and pretty much all of the animals were still out and about. If you want to hold the joeys though, expect a line up since everyone wants to see them at some point. We totally plan to go back either next weekend before they're closed until next year (their last day open is Oct. 8) or will be planning a trip again next summer. Totally worth it to go, especially if you're stopping in, or passing through, Kelowna.

Megan Berry

Amazing value for such a great experience. I go every year and there is always some sort of expansion or improvement being made. There is a lot of staff around, so the animals are being looked out for, and the animals seem safe and content. I recommend the farm to anyone visiting the area!

Emily Cho

The new location is a bit out of the way but much nicer parking. Love seeing the animals, kangaroos are so cute

Thushara Jay

Beautiful sanctuary. Just like a small “Down under” in Canada. The area is wide and lots of room to explore. Never touched a kangaroo while in Australia but had the opportunity while visiting this place. Ticket prices were very reasonable. Must visit with kids.

je em

staff did a great job keeping everyone safe by encouraging us to wash our hands and to practice physical distance, farm was really clean and has hand washing station in every corner. great job guys!!!

Funda Shark

Love this place! Lots to see and lots to learn. Be kind to the animals. Some inconsiderate people forget that we are visitors and they are wild animals. Btw, there are albino wallabies too!

Kaidan Rudolph

Highly recommended! Very cheap to get in, awesome experience, spent up to 2 hrs just being there taking my time and very family friendly ????

Gautham Chandra Menon

It's okay.. you got to see a few variety animals and birds.. but mind you that's not a proper kangaroo.. it's wallaroos there.. you still got to go Australia to see a proper one.. ????

Heather McCann

Excellent place! We had so much fun; it’s well worth the trip out! Only $10 (cash only). If you’re wanting to cuddle the joeys, make sure to visit nowhere close to a long weekend. Word of warning: they will (understandably) cancel cuddling joeys if the temp is too hot. Strongly suggest that you check out their website for full details and/or rules before visiting. Warning for those with mobility issues: the walk down the hill from Main Street can be a bit steep.

Kiya Yeung

Great price and lots of different animals to see beside kangaroos.

caitlin norlin

HUGE improvements made from the old location. A lot more space for the animals to roam around in, healthier snacks for the Roo's. I took my partner here for the first time and they loved it.

Allie Nicholas

It was so much fun! Lots to do and so many unique animals to see. The staff are super friendly and nice and they love to answer questions! I highly recommend going!

Amanda Jodoin

The employees were so friendly and teach you a lot about the animals and the farm. Working out in the hot sun and having to repeat yourself over and over again has to be challenging sometimes but you certainly couldn't tell they were all so professional! Seeing the animals in a big open setting was amazing. It's definitely worth the admission price.

Westcoast Partners Ltd Canada

Took our 9 month old here and she loved it. All the animals were friendly. Very affordable too!

Robert LePage

I always loved the old location in lake country and went with my daughter to the new location here in Kelowna and it was amazing. The new grounds are a vast improvement. I would always recommend the farm but even more so now.

Joe Magsajo

Great place for kids. My daughter enjoys this place very much. Just watch out for the alpha male kangaroo.

Jorge Antunes

This a great petting zoo that specializes in exotic animals such as Kangaroos. The animals are all originally rescued and very tame. The cost of entry is reasonable. It is open limited hours and they only accept cash or Park entry. You can even hold baby Kangaroos. I definitely recommend this place.

Michael Huang

Enjoyed every part of is farm! Awesome place for all ages to get close to animals.

Leon Murphy

Took the family on a Wednesday morning . Got there at opening and it was very busy. The whole time we were there it was busy, however the place has lots of room and never felt to crowded for how many ppl were around. It was clean, bathrooms are clean, had a food truck that seemed to be busy, lots of animals to look at and touch. Staff in the park are nice. The best part was the one side is basically a big petting area ( a few football fields in size) where u get to hang out with kangaroo, goats and other animals and u get to feed and pet them, my daughter was in heaven with this. For the price if you are a animal person it is worth every penny.

Zach Bullock

Really great value. Lots of different animals, as well as helpful staff that will answer questions.

C Chang

I was hesitant about going here because I thought it would be crowded, hot, smelly and not that interesting. Was I ever wrong on ALL accounts. I brought my 3 1/2 year old niece and we spent over an hour just visiting the kangaroo petting side of the farm. The kangaroos are very clean, very docile and obviously well cared for. There was plenty of space for them to roam, lots of shade and just a pleasure to get up close with. Even the washroom facilities and hand washing stations were well maintained. I would highly recommend this experience to any animal lover visiting the Kelowna area. Go first thing as the kangaroos are more hungry then and it isn't as hot and there are fewer people. You can bring in your own water bottle which I would recommend.

Lynn Rexin

Amazing and BAD experience. We visited the farm on October 5th 2020, overall we had an amazing time. But to sum it up we had one bad experience with a lady in the field to the right (with the exotic birds). We had 2 adults and 5 kids with a big stroller. At first we went to the field to the left with the goats etc. and we had an awesome time. The staff in that field were so friendly and amazing and so were the animals. At that field there was a young man sitting in the middle of the double gate entrance telling us the field rules, he was great. Later we proceeded to the field on the right with the exotic birds. While we were going through the double entrance gates there was no staff sitting in the middle telling us the rules. My 2 year old went in first and I was holding the gates for our other adult to get the stroller and other 4 kids through. Once through after maybe 4 seconds I turned and saw an older lady with short hair standing by my son. She was very very rude to us, she yelled and asked if he was with us (He was maybe 8 feet away from me for 4 seconds, which in the other field was acceptable, he was just standing by some ducks not running, touching, just standing). I went and took his hand and brought him back and she continued to lecture us rudely with her voice raised that all kids needed to be within arms length and were not allowed to touch the animals. If these are the rules that is fine, but she did not need to yell or be rude and it would have been helpful if she was at the entrance telling everyone the rules like in the other field. So in short, awesome experience on the left but wish we wouldn't have even gone into the field on the right as the woman scared my son and left us with a sour taste of the farm.

Justin & Kirsti

We loved this. Well worth the $10 entry. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals there. It was very hands on and interactive. We were there on a quiet day, so not having huge lines was nice. I can see how having to wait an extended time or be in a huge crowd would ruin the experience. Would definitely go back again!

Reed Scholz

Based on the previous 5 years of borderline psychotic responses to critical reviews figured I would gaslight you the same way you do to your customers. Good luck on 100 kangaroo’s - please share a photo of all of them along with your zoology degree when you hit the milestone. P.S this might be a difficult concept for you to grasp, but it is possible for a review to be written based on previous experiences. No, no I’m not talking about a time machine. Bye.

Emily M

Great place to bring kids, no lines or waiting since you just roam around in the enclosure with the animals. You can pet them and feed them too. They're all very cute, the sugar glider was so small! There's a food cart with hot dogs and things, didn't try it though. Lots of parking. I wish there were more info panels around though.

Digital Loop

Totally worth the price of admission. They've got lots of cool stuff to fight. Kangaroos, yup. Wallabys, you bet. Emus, for sure! Goats, they got some. Ducks... A little hard to ride, but if you are quick. Peacocks... Don't fight them. Staff members, lots of them, don't recommend fighting them, they got some skills! Just freaking go already!

Tyson Henderson

Great place. The staff was informative and personable. So many creatures to learn about and enjoy. The price was great, very reasonable.

Raymond Chin

The kangaroo's are so soft and furry... There's 2 portions to the zoo. The left part allows the most interaction and in my opinion, the most enjoyable. The right part has more exotic animals but you're not allowed to touch or feed them. Overall it was a good experience.

Melkalver Melkalver (Johnny D)

A fantastic stop to visit. I traveled here with my girlfriend to see a kangaroo or two. We were amazed with the attentiveness of the staff, number of animals, and variety. (they even have sugar gliders!) we also learned a lot about the animals from the staff and signage. For 10 bucks it is a great afternoon activity, teaches you lots and if you wait it out (or arrive early) the baby Joey's are super adorable!

lynne fretz

Awesome place to go lots of interacting with animals wiil go again!

Bill knox

The last time I visited the farm it was the old location and it was nice but the new location is great! Lots of parking and it's really easy to find. Lots of new animals and buildings. Most of the animals were petting friendly and if they weren't there was lots of staff to let you know as you go into each section. Very well run and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We went with our 4yr old grandson and both he and us had a great time.

Nicole H

I really enjoyed our trip here. There is a good mix of shady and sunny areas to keep you from getting too hot. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Ladie Bird

Really good. Very informative staff. Loved the walk about with the animals ❤

Ryan Deibert

Dogs are allowed but are they really? On your website they are allowed but when you get there they are not allowed. Just put on the website no dogs it would have saved alot of hassle what a joke. Tell people that before they pay not after. Fix your website so other people don't get the wrong impression and have your employees informed on your policies. What do you mean you people ? does the color of my skin offend you shame on you you are why people have issues with people today.

Shannon Hussey

I have very mixed feelings about this place. It was cool, but there are so many people touching the animals. I really felt horrible and guilty for being there. The staff seems really great with the animals. I really just had a problem with people all crowding the animals and you can tell some of them don't like all the touching.

Willy

Very very fun place to visit. Me and my friends spent a few hours inside interact with super cute animals. Highly recommended.

Eric A

Very nice and chill! Feeding the rooms and learning about them is great! Staff were very knowledgeable. Lots of critters in the farm, too.

Angelica Huff

My 2 tear old had a great time seeing all the animals, I can't wait to see them again when it's warmer

Irene Wasylow

Best place ever did it with no children even. Kids will abdolutely love it you get to pet the kangroos what an awesome expérience it is must forever one

kelli howard

This place was pretty cool!! The staff were very informative, the grounds clean, and the animals looked pretty chill, and well looked after. My fave was Beta, even if she was a little crusty. ????

S M

Love the new location - TONS of parking. It was super hot the day we went (back in July) but there was lots of shady places to sit. Animals were great, staff is great. Highly recommend!

Vicky Rochefort

SOOO amazing!! Friendly staff, an incredible range of exotic animals. It was an amazing experience for a very fair price!!

Allison Hughes

Great experience for all. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The animals are friendly. They offer washing stations for your hands after petting the animals. The water and snacks are priced fairly. The kids got their face painted and when they weren't playing with the animals they could play with the toys and parents can sit under covered tables.

Lynne Spencer

So friendly! And being able to put the animals? Amazing!

Pamela De Jaeger

Second time visiting, staff was great, animals were all very sweet. I loved meeting elanor the porcupine, never thought I would get to pet one.

Jr Levesque

Amazing experience, the bird Handler Erika is super knowledgeable and informative. Highly recommend.

Cathy Leppard

Fun experience for all ages. Very well maintained. A unique opportunity in the okanagan. Highly recommended.

Melissa Weatherby

Fun place with great staff and beautiful animals!

Sergio Torres

Great place for kids and adults to spend a few hours, place is clean and they seem to take good care of the animals at the farm

Francine Mader

First time there. I will return. Great family place. Nice outdoor area for picnic or buy from food truck.

Gaven Sirois

Nice inexpensive place to visit. Awesome experience for kids to learn about Kangaroos and other animals. To see the little Joeys count a good 1.5 hours wait time. Come early and park on the street. We drove down and had to turn around. We didn’t see the tiny sign with font 15 telling you not to drive down :0)

Selena Chung

Heard about this place from my friend and I just had to come. The entry fee is more than fair ($10/person), including holding joeys and feeding animals. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area (or even when you are not, definitely worth making a trip here!)

Richard Johnson

Was really great to visit this farm and see and touch most of the animals there. Staff was very informative and friendly.

Tyler Defauw

Great place to go and kill a few hours lots of goats and kangaroos as well as other animals

Tyler Defauw

Great place to go and kill a few hours lots of goats and kangaroos as well as other animals

Ryukyu Okinawa

A must go place to meet the furry friend kangaroos n other farm animals. Beautiful peacocks n emu walking around the ground. Get close contact of the exotic parrots n raptiles on your shoulders. It can get pretty HOT under the sun...

Kimberly Bell

Wonderful experience. Would give a thousand stars if possible. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Admission is cheap and the animals are amazing. Parking can be tricky. If someone has mobility issues and does not have a disability parking pass you'll need to be dropped off and the driver go park up on the road and there is no parking on farm grounds unless handicapped. The walk down to the farm is steep but well maintained. Small concession stand, treats well prices and ice cold bottled water only 1$. Staff will give you treats to feed the animals for free. Reptile shows and so much more to see. Give yourself at least 2 hours to see everything! Love love love the Kangaroo Creek Farm.

Tanya Leibel

The animals at this place looked sad, stressed and depressed. The Emus were just walking in circles (because they were stressed). This place was super hot basically a huge dust bowl and it didn’t have enough shade for the animals. We felt very badly for them. It was also WAY too crowded for the animals who were being petted nonstop. The prior location in Lake Country was far more humane and comfortable for the animals and visitors.

Matt Thibault

We went with our kids to check out the Kangaroos and other cool animals. The kids loved it and they were encouraging social distancing policies which is entirely possible to do at this place. The place is stroller friendly and is probably good for a 2 hour visit or so.

Sab L

Fun place to stop by and pet some kangaroos! Very family friendly. Staff were all very friendly and informative

Angela Rudman

We had amazing times. Highly recommended ???? Everybody friendly and beautiful kangaroo

Danielle Audas

Our kids loved this place - so much fun to interact with the kangaroos and other animals. We saw lots of adorable babies - emus, joeys, capybaras, goats and more. There are quite a lot of kangaroos/wallabies, so there aren't a lot of people crowded around. They seem to take good care of all the animals. We got there right when it opened at 10am and it was getting really busy by the time we left on a weekday, so get there early.

Morgan Retzloff

This is my favourite place in all of Kelowna! All the animals are docile and enjoy pets, just make sure you listen to the I tructions from the staff on how to pet each type of animal. They are all very picky about how they like to be approached and petted. The only complaint I could muster up is that they only had 2 capybaras. I like when they have the large groups. The two they did have were extremely cute and enjoyed being petted which made my day as they are my favourite animal.

Lori Boschman

Lovely place where you can feed and pet a kangaroo. Staff are very knowledgable and make sure the rules are followed such as no running. Didn't check out the goat area but looked interesting and saving that for next visit .

Jason Wong

It was pretty cool to see and pet some of the animals. The staff was great, most of them very friendly. You can tell some of them repeat the same "fun fact" about the animals hundreds of times a day, but...they have to repeat the same "fun fact" hundreds of times a day

Kottah Marie

Had such a great day here, the staff was all so approachable and friendly, they told us a lot of cool information and made sure we were being safe and respectful. This was a very unique and fun experience, that is good for all ages, we’re thinking of coming back before our trip is over. The animals we’re awesome and super chill, I was glad we spent the day here :)

cy kam

Must go! Petting farm great for family's and definitely go see the baby Kangaroos

G ST

Super fun place to go. The flying squirrels are super cute. But do not bring pets, unless you can carry them all the time.

Kyle Cameron

Excellent place for kids! Love the hands on activities provided like feeding the animals, holding a baby kangaroo and having a parrot sit on your shoulder! Staff is very friendly and they seem to really care a lot about the animals. The animals all seem very happy, well taken care of and the place is well kept and clean.

Jonathan Garratt

Amazing place.. so much fun.. reasonably priced well kept attraction will be back for sure

Elizabeth J Ritchie

A great place for the whole family. Lots to see and do Covid protacals in places and followed well Nice places to grap a snack and sit down .The animals and birds are well looked after and free to roam about The grounds are level and wheel chairs and walkers are easy to manage . Well appointed wash rooms and hand sanitizing stations It' was a great visit thanks to all the staff will be back again ????????

Laura McMurren

I was so excited to visit the Kangaroo Creek Farm at its new location. It's been a few years and I was happy to bring the kids! I wasn't disappointed! It was much better than the old location! I didn't mind paying the fee. We got to see some many exotic animals! The kids were intrigued! We will be talking about it for years to come!

Drew Stewart

Seen this place on a friends Facebook page, we were visiting Kelowna with out 2yo son and decided to visit the place. Last weekend they were open of the season. What can I say superb, our son loved it, to be honest so did I. The animals in the petting part were superb super friendly, to get up close to these animals was superb.

Kamal Jandoo

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Enjoyed visiting the kangaroos. Must see in Kelowna.

Kathleen Davis

Great family day! Reasonable prices to get in and so much fun for kids of all ages!

Jean-Francois Demers

Great family fun!

Brent Sellers

Always a blast when we visit here. Lots to see and do. Many animals to interact with--kangaroos, wallabies, capybaras, exotic birds, goats, ducks and chickens, peacocks sugar gliders, bunnies and porcupines, some reptiles, and more. And many are happy to be touched. We appreciate being given clear instructions about animal interaction and food to feed the animals. Admission price is very reasonable-- our four-year-old was free! The new location doesn't have quite the same "feel" as the old one, but the ample parking and expansive grounds were certainly a needed upgrade. It's very easy to find, and easily accessible from the highway. No longer just cash payments, there were machines for card transactions at the entry gate and the concession. Place includes a couple concessions shops, washroom facilities for families and portable toilets, many hand washing stations, picnic benches and shelters. Pro-tip: Go earlier in the day to get more interaction with animals before it's too hot.

Shannie Reyes

Honestly such an amazing experience! If you love animals, this is a great stop in Kelowna!

Lorna Dunsmore

We were extremely excited to find out there was a Kangaroo Farm in Kelowna BC. This is a small farm where an hour visit really is enough time to see all the animals. They have a variety of kangaroos, wallaby’s, emus, porcupines, and other small animals that roam the grounds freely. The cost was very reasonable to enter. You are given 1 small bag of popcorn per group when you enter. We went as soon as it opened as recommended on their website. Which was a good move, as it became very busy before noon. On one side you can view the animals up close but cannot touch. On the other side you are able to rub or pet their backs. Even the porcupine could be petted. Some of the animals were very use to people while some were skittish, and understandably so. Overall this is a cute farm to visit no matter your age. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. It is mostly run by volunteers. There are plenty of toilets and hand washing stations. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars, is in this time of Covid, they did not do a good job of ensuring the people lining up to get in were 6 feet apart, and the park was becoming very busy (no limits of people it seemed), which made it harder on our part to keep a safe distance. And yes we wore masks, my daughter took hers off for the picture.

Cori Caswell

Great place for young and old alike. Pet the kangaroos on the one side of from. The other side still not as used to people. An amazing number of different animals. Got to touch a snake and sugar flyers. A great time was had!

Lynda McDermott

Great place to go with the family..You can see the Emu's, Kangaroos, parrots up close. Staff were very welcoming.

Michael Vatcher

Great experience. Staff are great at explaining things about the animals. Worth a trek out to see the kangaroos.

Brenda Scarrow

What a cool experience!!! I loved every part of it !!! Birds to bunnies running all over the place as well as kangaroos!!!!! Emus are super cool too!

BigDaddy Dokter

Incredible interaction with kangaroos, maras, capi baras and so many more animals. Concession prices were surprisingly cheap!

shannon deveau

This place is a must see. Staff were very knowledgeable very friendly. The kangaroos were awesome. Well worth thw $10. Got to feed and hold.

Nicole Theodore

Had such an amazing time - highly recommend for a fun day activity with or without kids. Animals are well taken care of and look happy and loved.

Lindsey Crosby

This place is amazing and I can't believe I had never been here before! Like a hidden gem ???? took our son for his first birthday, but really we just wanted to go and play with the animals. There was even a baby kangaroo I could hold! So fun, definitely worth a visit for a couple hours.

Charissa Calaway

Very awesome place to visit and hang out with the lovely animals there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The best part is petting the Kangaroos!

Thomas Larsen

Can not say enough good things about this place. Inexpensive for a whole family. Educational, the staff were wonderful. We seemed to get there at nap time but made it easy to pet the animals whom seemed to love the attention. Highly recommended!!

terry vulcano

nice collection of down under animals > not as nice as their old location

Rachel L

NO KANGAROO STEAK OR FUR. It's not really worth going back to, but it's a cute farm worth going once, if only just to say you did. They have more than just kangaroos. Well-priced cherries. Open on rainy days too. $5 for -18 $10 for adults $5 for seniors, 65 years+ The younger staff (-30) only really interacted with the "10 and below" age-group. You're almost ignored as a teen/semi-adult/actual adult. It's expected that you're there for your tots. But the older staff handed out food and will just talk to whoever looks interested, not based on age. As a semi-adult with mum, I waited in a makeshift line for ten to fifteen minutes, where children waited for ten seconds and then got to the "front" of the "line" again just as quickly as the first time (Mainly the sugar glider line ????). I saw many adults walk away after waiting longer than I did. The handler did state that the kids would go first, but I didn't think he was /that/ serious.. Every person I've mentioned the farm to asks that I bring them back a kangaroo steak, so just to be clear it's more of a petting zoo. No food, or fur clothing is being sold. I'm glad they're only open for a short period every day so the animals don't become overwhelmed with petting. There are baby kangaroos to hold too, all swaddled up in blankies.

Amber Neufeldt

Three years ago we were at the farm. My daughter who was four loved holding baby Elsa. And three years later she still distinctly remembers her. We were there recently and of course she asked if Elsa was still there. She was shown her “baby” Elsa so she could visit and say hi. Absolutely amazing time again for the kids!!

Laura Burwell

My favorite part of my visit to Kelowna! If you love animals this is a must do. The kangaroos are so cute and friendly and it was such a unique experience getting to pet them.

Eduardo Hallal

So much fun to see and pet kangaroos!!! Loved it, very kid/family friendly attraction.

Scott Aaltonen

Such a great time for the kids and family and friends new to area or visiting - it's a 'must visit' for sure! Love the new location on Old Vernon Rd - so much more room for the animals - and closer for those of us from Kelowna! Snakes, Parrots, Kangaroos, Emus, Goats, Capybarra, and so much more! Great staff, Great Covid Protocols, and even Great Burgers as the food truck! Highly Recommended!

Dave Jin

Highly recommended for families with young children. Great collection of unique creatures to view, and very knowledgeable staff.

Ryan Pan

Great place for family to visit, lots of activities for kids and lots of animals for kids to see!

Brent Davis

Loved the Farm walking around with the animals, was able to pet the roos & even saw a mommy roo with the Joey in her pouch :-) truly beautiful place, will be returning next visit to the Okanagan

Brenda Kane

Do you long for a walkabout in the outback? Well then, you can immerse yourself in a very down under experience through visiting the wonderful animal adventure farm at Kangaroo Creek. Kangaroos galore including the darling all white albinos, I spotted 4 of them. Emu and baby emus, they are sweet! Petite miniature ponies, capybaras, fancy chickens, exotic birds, adorable goats, the Patagonian Cavies and more...It seems a ton of work has gone into making it a comfortable home for the animals, and a very interesting place for families to explore. Yes, that walk down the hill almost finished me off as it was a hot day, but if you take your time, it's all good. Handicapped? no problem, you can drive (slowly) right down into the farm. Very reasonable admissions. Very reasonable snacks. Attendants are well informed and will guide your behaviour around these amazing creatures. Adhere to their instructions carefully for best results. Hand-wash stations are appropriately positioned.

L E

I loved this place! The lady at the gate was a little grumpy however once your inside it's great! Just watch because parking is on the street or in the parking lot across the street. Also when you go in they have stuff to the right, & left of the booth so make sure you look around & don't miss anything! I loved all the kangaroos, baby kangaroos, Wallabies, etc. Great place to go on a warm day.

David Y

Really cool petting farm with kangaroo, capybara, birds, goats, and more. Totally worth the visit.

Karan Mattu

Great experience with great staff. Lots of animals. All very friendly. It was a great visit

David Neal

Absolutely fantastic place!!! Couldn't have had a better time! Awesome friendly animals and very kind and knowledgeable staff! Would definitely go back

Candice Bonner

This place is wonderful! A variety of animals which are nice and friendly. Everyone working there does a ton of work and it shows. The place is beautifully maintained. Thank you for allowing the public to your home.

susan miriam thomas

Good for kid and adults..informative and we can pet kangaroo and other animals here

Matthew Stene

Great new location for the farm. There are many animals to see and interact with.

Brent Houston

My wife and I attended kangaroo creek farm in September. What a blast! It was awesome to get up close and interact with all of the animals at the farm. The admission price is very reasonably low. Well worth the money and if you have kids take them they’ll love it!

B Sharpe

This place is great. You can actually pat kangaroos and other critters. The only suggestion I would make would be more signage explaining what animals we're looking at. All in all pretty positive experience

Steven Gergely

Great place to visit for all ages.

Iris Chu

One of the greatest place! The staff is very nice and I like how this an interactive farm with animals you don't see every day!

Julia V

Very interesting animals. They give you popcorn to feed the Kangaroos ???? Watch your step there is Kangaroo poo all around.

Britannia Gammond

So much fun seeing the kangaroos! Arrive early as it does get busy. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

eanagv

We really love this place, were you can pet Kangaroos, and it is not expensive, the staff there were frendly.

Abdullah El-Safadi

I came from Montreal and I decided to visit this farm out of a sudden. It was the best farm I have ever visited in my life. Initially, I wanted to spend 15 minutes but ended up spending 2 hours with the kangaroos. They are laid back and they dont care if you pet them. The employees are also very knowledgeable about the farm and the animals seem to be well taken care of. I totally recommend this place for people from any age.

Ben Schmidt

It's my birthday and we decided on an outdoor Covid safe activity. My children loved it. There is an African porcupine that they were able to pet. Her name was Priscilla. We saw Walleroos, snakes, Emus, kangaroos, wallabies, parrots, rabbits, ducks, goats, capybaras, and had a great time. We were there for almost three hours including the picnic we packed. Lots of room to distance from other groups and lots of place to wash our hands. I highly recommend, the price is right. $12 for adults and $6 for kids 5-18 and seniors. We had a great visit.

Daniel Jones

Unreal experience. Coming from Ontario, there's nothing like this back home. Super friendly owner and staff. Would definitely recommend.

Tanya J

Loved spending time with all the animals. Fantastic place to bring the family.

T.J.

Many exotic animals that you cannot see often. So much fun hanging out with kangaroo! Recommended for sure ????

jessica gannon

What an awesome experience! Thankful for the Wonderful staff. 100% recommended We brought our dog and they were very kind to allow us to have him in the seating area and offered water, we just took turns going into the enclosures. Thank you!

Se Ba

Love it. Nice animals and friendly staff. Animals looks happy and are cery cute????

dhayzd

The staff were friendly, and somewhat informative. The animals seemed overwhelmed, constantly being petted, no place to hide if they wanted to. Emu's seem to be pacing back and forth(due to stress and confinement). I witnessed on multiple occasions adults and children not following the rules of engagement with the animals. All the animals should be fixed, so reproducing stops and more animals aren't born into a life of confinement and captivity. More places for shade would of been a great feature for the animals. I think this could be a great place, with more education, more restricted interactions, and a more forward approach to not allowing the animals to breed constantly and fall into an unnatural life of captivity.

Mr. U K

We went to the farm today with our kids and they absolutely loved seeing animals up close and playing with them. Our experience was ruined though by a couple of staff members whom we found quite rude, especially the girl in the reptile section. As we approached the viewing area of reptile section after a long wait, the girl kept talking to some other person who did not even line up. The girl was promoting her own personal business to the other person and totally ignored us making no eye contact at all. After a very short viewing, she asked us to leave and didn’t spend sufficient time to show other reptiles like she had to other customers. We were really surprised by this unprofessional behaviour and our kids felt bad not getting a proper welcome or engagement in the reptile section. We do hope that management of the farm reprimands this behaviour.

Chef Rafeeq

Kangaroos and much more, kids would love it ????????????

Just make sure you know, they closed at 3:00pm on September. The kangaroos are all so full to eat, but anyway, kids love them.

So much better than a regular petting zoo and definitely better than a regular zoo. Animals looked happy, relaxed and well fed. Staff were excellent! Knowledgable and friendly. Such a unique experience to get so up close and personal with kangaroos, Wallabies and capybara in BC! I would even give them an extra star if I could for how well the grounds and the washrooms we're kept.

Cute and fun farm to visit. It was the first time I had the chance to pet a kangaroo. They also have other animals such as ostriches, emus, capibara, exotic birds, porcupines, rabbit, chicken and goats.

This place is worth every penny. The new location is very big and even has an area to sit down and eat. The food/portion size is great. There is two large sides to the farm featuring many animals. There is a lot to see/do. The staff are very welcoming and warm. They are very knowledgeable as well. If you're looking for a local place to support. You don't need to look any further. This place will not disappoint.

I took my ESL class to Kangaroo Creek farm. It was so peaceful and the animals are so wonderful. First time with all these different animals and being able touch them, feed them and be near them was amazing. The staff are so accommodating and just overall nice people. I would highly recommend this outing.

We had good time with animal friends

The place is super cool and the animals are fascinating to see but man oh man did the kangaroos look very unhappy. We witnessed a couple “unintentionally” trap a kangaroo and thought the kangaroo was just being very nice. The girl then proceeded to try and touch it thinking they were bonding but the kangaroo was clearly scared and it was in the no petting section. The animals looked very sad and depressed. I used to go a fair amount but I don’t think I will ever go again.

Kangaroos are in very close vicinity to you as they are walking on the same ground as you. You can touch if you try but it's not advised. Only few Kangaroos were in cage rest were out walking in public.

We were here last week (August 26, 2020), and although the zoo experience was enjoyable, I must say it was very disappointing how we were treated by one staff there. The older lady with grey pixie hair at the entrace/cashier was rather rude and very condenscending to us. We were 2 families that went with a total of 9 people (4 adults and 5 kids). We were paying to enter, and she was concerned that our group was too big for social distancing, which is totally understandable so she wanted us to divide into 2 groups. We didn’t know this is where you get a small bag of popcorn. We did not get any but it was our first time here so we didn’t know about this. We carried on visiting the zoo with our masks on and in 2 groups. After about an hour we realized people were feeding the animals with popcorn. We asked one friendly staff where we can get/buy popcorn, she told us at the front gate, you can get a bag of popcorn for free. So we went to the front asking very politely and respectfully for some popcorn. We already sensed her unfriendliness when we paid to enter so we were very careful to approach her. When we ask the older lady with short pixie hair (the friendly young lady was not there), she seemed very annoyed at us and raised her voice to tell us she had already given us. When we said, she has not, she insisted that she gave it to one of our group members. We told her we did not get any , she rolled her eys and gave us one bag and said ‘its one bag per group! When we asked for another bag, since there were 9 of us and in 2 groups, she said ‘well, you gonna have to share!’. I couldn’t believe how this lady is treating us over a bag of popcorn and I had to say something. I told her that we paid for 2 groups (9 people) and I thought it was one bag per group... Before I could finish my sentence, she handed us another bag and said ‘Im not gonna argue!’ in a rude manner. We find this experience very demeaning. We felt so little at her mistreatment of us over a small bag of popcorn! I would hate to leave a one start review but her unprofessionalism and lack of customer service skills need to be known by management. She is the first person you will encounter when you enter the farm, and as such, you need to set the vibe for guests’ visit of the farm. Having someone with her demeanor is really a turn off. If you cannot be friendly, at least be professional and don’t treat your guests like dirt. Because this is how we felt. Over a small bag of popcorn. It’s a shame. Otherwise, the rest of the staff were wonderful, friendly and knowledgable.

Love the new location. All of the animals seem to as well lol.

This is a nice place to hand out with a whole family, my kids is went crazy when they see kangaroo specially the white kangaroos, I never see a white kangaroo, you can feed them and touch them, also you can hold a baby kangaroo if you like, they do have a big farm at the back you can spend time.

Kenny Freeman

It was great! Even though they have social distancing in place, you can still get up close and personal with the animals. They have ample washing stations and hand sanitizers throughout at the main checkpoints. Anyone looking for a nice evening, I'd definitely recommend! It's unfortunate that it took this long for us to visit!

Rob S

Kids loved it. Good experience for the whole family. I recommend going early to beat the crowd and for more active kangaroos

I went on a double date with another couple to the Kangaroo Farm in Kelowna. I went to a koala sanctuary in Brisbane two years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the similarities in experiences. The biggest difference is in Kelowna they don't let you pet the emus and there aren't any koala bears or platypus. However, in Kelowna they do let you pet goats, sugar gliders, snakes, and bearded dragons. They have some majestic birds here who are very animated. We went on the Saturday of the August long weekend so it was very busy. There were long lines to pet a porcupine or a snake. Overall, it is one of the more fun and unique attractions in the Okanagan that isn't a hike, a beach, a winery, or a restaurant. I was surprised tickets are only 12 bucks for an adult, and kids four and under are free! It's cheaper than a movie!

This place is so cool! It is really cool to be able to walk around with the kangaroos and other animals and even pet them! The bird area is super cool too. Our family really enjoyed our time there.

Mandy Mcleod

Always an awesome experience. Love the new location, the animals have more space and shade. Will be back next year again!

Olen Hillaby

Had a great adventure here we went early and still had to stand in a line when the gates opened. Staff were eficiant and did a good job to manage line ups and ensure all animals were respected by the visitors.

Bernice “Sparky”

It was truly amazing to see and pet kangaroos, and other animals. My 3 year old grandson loved it! A great place to bring your children. It was a very friendly, family oriented place to visit and a great price to be entertained for a couple of hours.

CJ Ghanem

Nieces had a wonderful time!!!

Amazing time with my girls. Super close to the Kelowna Airport and well spaced out. Glad we made a stop here for my kids to check them out.

What an absolutely great place to be close to animals. Every staff member was very friendly and answered all animal related questions. The location is great it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be. They have a great collection of animals and enough of them so when it gets busy you won’t be stuck waiting to pet an animal. All animals looked healthy and happy which was great to see. Parking is huge but we still went early morning when they open and there were already a few people ahead of us. When we were leaving the parking was pretty much full.

Les Povarchook

Great staff. Easy parking. Lots of room to social distance. Animals are fantastic! Lots to pet. Hand cleaning stations all over the farm. Ice cream and drink stand. Lunch trailer. Great food! Very reasonable prices. Very clean. Side of fries and chicken fingers fed grandson, son-in-law and me.

Sarah

Love this place. The admission is not expensive. Kids under 4 are free. Staff are very friendly. Stoller friendly but you can't take it into the goat area. Such a cool experience feeding and petting kangaroos and even a porcupine! BONUS: The food truck has great food too

Ben Wong

Very cute place to visit! Staff all seems to be friendly and thoroughly enjoy their jobs. Loved the assortment of animals and the open free roam area as opposed to visiting a zoo

Ingrid Zeng

It is such a fun place, even if you are an adult!

Got to pet some awesome animals. The Capybara were my personal favorite. Plus there were some super ugly aggressive chickens which were fun to pet also. Nice people, nice setting overall good way to spend a couple of hours!
