We have all the feddbacks of people who have information of the products and services of Fairmont Funtasia Fun Park (Zoo) in Banff (Canada).
At this moment this firm receives a score of 3.9 stars out of 5 and this score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is really high, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the score is quite credible. If many people have bothered to give their review when they are happy with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place scores when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Zoo corresponds to the category of Miniature golf course.
This place has a nice 80s vibe to it
A little pricey for what you get but all in all, not a bad time spent outdoors.
Whenever my family gets to Fairmont, we never forget to stop by Funtasia for ice cream. They will always have the best ice cream on the Rockies. Stop by there, get some scoops of ice cream, get to the verandah and if you're lucky you have the company of the cute bird with a lot of personality. Can't beat that!
Great day here playing mini golf and feeding the animals!
This place is great. Felt a little pricy but it's a good place to kill 2 hours. Mini golf, bumper carts and petting zoo
Loved the spinnging bumper cars.
Not worth for the money..Too expensive...Different charges for minigolf and kids park.
Fun golf. Very nice gardens
Fun golf. Very nice gardens
As a kid I always wanted to stop in here, all we got to do was see it on the way by from the highway. I managed to take my son here a short time ago and we tried the place out. Bumper cars and mini golf are the main attractions. The mini golf course is actually fairly impressive and quite fun. Bumper cars are bumper cars wherever you are, but still fun and worth a go. The place is reasonably priced, a little more on the expensive side... no surprises there. Great staff, very interesting location, they have really managed to utilize the space they have effectively. I would go again but I'm in no rush to get back.
Fun activities and great safety measure put into place for Covid.
It was ok but not upto mark.
Great spot to kill a few hours
So nice
Group of young adults - mini golf was so fun! Really cool course. Wish there were more animals to feed hahaha but the donkeys were the best.
So fun have to go back
A super cool place to have a good time with friends
Beautiful property in a lovely location. Staff are so friendly and best of all, kids love it!
Excellent staff family friendly atmosphere.
It is pricey, but there is fun to be had with a family. My wife and I were skeptical after paying for both the mini golf and the animals, as it seemed like we were seeing the animals during the mini golf anyhow. We didn't realize until afterwards that there were more animals to see above where the mini golf course. That changed this from being a 1 or 2 star review at most to 3 stars for me, solely based on the enjoyment our kids had in looking at the animals. I would definitely suggest bringing bug spray with you. The spray behind the counter is expensive.
Amazing staff. Awesome animals. Definitely worth the stop.
Fun but pricey!
Beautiful place where people and animals live in harmony! Had there one of the best times in my live! Thanks Tanya & Joseph for creating this awesoms experience!
A nice way to spend an hour or so getting close to some cute animals and have a chance to feed them as well. Nicely kept grounds and friendly, helpful staff! Didn’t try the mini golf but it was also kept in excellent condition.
Haha this place is great. It was pouring rain so we mini golfed quickly.
Really nice great looking garden for taking pics with family but a bit pricy for what u get
Great little place to visit in Fairmont, BC. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a round of mini-golf and explored the park and gardens and fed the animals. The staff was very friendly and the admission for the activities was super affordable.
Okay experience here last year. The staff are pretty decent, and seeing the animals are nice. But the facility is very outdated, and you need a safety seminar before you go on the bumper cars which weren't even that good. The mini golf course was okay but needed improvements pretty badly. Okay experience here though
While a nice place to take your little ones, its very over priced. We paid $44 for 2 adults and 1 child. Left our parents behind cuz would have been even more expensive. Don’t recommend it unless they adjust the price, or add more to make it worth. The folks running it are super nice. But doesnt make it okay for the price you pay.
Fun little mini putt but a bit overpriced
Very expensive. But enjoyable.

Good family fun
Very great place! The owner was super nice and inviting. Mini golfing was fun. I won the game against my boyfriend. The whole place is super beautiful, and really well maintained. The animals were super cute & well cared for. I got recommended the blueberry cheesecake and banana chocolate fudge ice-cream, so I got both & the banana is to die for!!!!
$17 mosquito spray, felt a bit duped by the photos and description. Bumper cars were not what you think and the whole place just felt like it was out of some creepy movie.
A quaint place for some mini-golf, ice cream and bumper cars.
Really nice
We stopped on our way through and just paid for the gardens and petting park. ($28 for 2 adults) The gardens are beautifully kept. I was very disappointed though because it wasn’t like a traditional petting zoo where you get to be with the animals - you just get to try to reach over the fence to try and pet them. The animals are conditioned for the pet food so they will come to the fence but only care about the pellets. Some cages were very small and just mud. Staff was very helpful and positive and seems to care for the animals and the park itself is larger than you can tell from the road which is why I rated it an extra star.
Beautiful and cozy place. Very clean, meditative and entertaining for any age. Goats, ponies, donkeys and lamas are very friendly ????.
THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! Save your money and do something that is actually worth it! The price is absolutely ridiculous and everything is terribly maintained. My son even got bit on the thumb by one of the "kid friendly horses" he got a terrible gash on his thumb. The whole thing is a joke PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE THAT IS WORTH IT.
Kept very nice and clean, perfect for little ones! Be sure to read all signs as most of them are quite important My only complaint was that my smoothie kinda tasted like hay and it's a little pricey

Very expensive! And seems kind of run down. Only did the bumper cars. $14 for one person for ten minutes. I guess I give it two stars instead of one because the kids seemed to enjoy it but really $60 for four of us for ten minutes is crazy. I would have said no way but the kids were already going crazy wanting bumper cars.
The kids loved this place. Very nice people. It was very quiet when we were there. The bumper cars were great!
Expensive but fun.
Mini golf course was fun with a good mix of easier and harder holes, garden was beautiful, friendly staff. Homes for animals were on the smaller side. A little bit expensive because each activity was an additional fee.
A good place for kids.
Such an amazing experience with so much to so in such a beautiful array
$80 for a family of 6 to play mini golf!! Absolutely ridiculous! I would have turned around, but my kids would have been disappointed at the end of a long day. Stay away from this place.
My husband and I enjoyed a fun game of mini golf here, and I won a free game. :)
$80 for a 7,4,3 yr old and Mom and Dad to play mini golf. I didn't think I had to phone a head for a quote before I got my kids excited. Expecting to pay something reasonable 25 ish? Nope.. kids too excited so I bucked up and tried to enjoy an OK round of mini golf. The grounds looked beautiful I'm sure it would have been cool to check out the rest but being able to feed my kids the rest of the trip was more important to us. I don't know maybe I'm upset cause my 7 and 3 year old got hole in 1's and I didn't.
Over priced for what you get, not a great golf course as there is nothing entertaining for the kids, my 4 yr old shouldn't have cost $15. Will honestly never go back.
Nice and cute experience for small kiddies
Its pretty expensive
Tricky course, but very fun! My boyfriend and I had a good time playing and then seeing the animals after. Would recommend to anyone passing through
The course was well kept and shady, so we didn't mind the heat even in 30 degree weather. Lovely flowers around the place, and very sweet animals.
Nice place, but expensive.
kids surely enjoyed the mini golf and bumper ride.
Mini putt for thr whole family
This guys are so much fun..the lady in the bumper cars was amazing thank you...the mini golf is a must
Wonderful little park for any age. They have a cafe, petting zoo, a mini golf course and bumper cars. The bumper cars was out of order when we were there.
This place is overly priced, but the staff are very friendly and it keeps the kids busy with several activities such as the zoo animals, go carting, and mini golf.

Cute and fun little pit stop durring a road trip! A touch on the pricey side but worth the laughs!
Super Fun for the Family of All Ages! :) - Look Out for the Live Animals - :)
Overpriced for mini golf! Save your money and drive right past. Brutal. They should really lower their prices. They are wayyy to expensive. It should cost a family of 4 maximum$15- $20 to play a round of mini golf period.
Great little stop on the highway. Friendly staff, and great activities. We just did the mini golf which was fantastic. Fun course nestled on the side of a gorge with a nice view of the petting zoo. Ice cream was fabulous and a cool little parrot hanging out on the deck. Highly recommended!
Great staff!
Bumper cars were fun but for over $120 for 5 of us, the variety of animals that were not friendly to pet was disappointing, kids were quickly bored with lack of things to do in the yard. We visited Calgary zoo for the entire day for less. False advertising of a petting zoo, as we were not able to interact with majority of the animals except for dumping food into their feeder bins.
Great place to go play mini golf and they have bumper cars too!
This place is awesome! Some of the best mini-golf I've ever played. Great ice cream, and fluffy alpacas to pet
This place was awesome. A bit pricey for 2 adults and the kids but I understand they have costs too. The kids got a kick out of the animals and so did I. Thanks for the good time!! Dont forget to buy feed for the animals. 1 bag isn't enough!!!
We stopped in on an overcast day and really enjoyed ourselves. There is a lot to do, excellent food and ice cream and an 18 hole mini golf course.
Good course in the trees. Overpriced & too many people on the course at once.
Awesome lil place but very expensive.
Great for the younger crowd (they loved the animals and the 7yr old enjoyed her first mini golf). The price adds up quickly though, we had 4 adults and 2 young kids. I would say next time I would not have paid for all 4 adults to participate.
Not for me. Too expensive for what you get
Great opportunity to introduce small children to animals, and spend some time in nature. They have some beautiful gardens, a fun mini golf, some bumper cars, and several activities for kids to play. We also stayed for some ice cream aftwerwards, and some healthy smoothies. Really nice spot for family time while staying in Fairmont.
We enjoyed walking through the gardens and petting the animals. We spent about 2 hours here. It was a bit pricey but our kids had lots of fun. There are also 2 playgrounds in the gardens and my child who wasn't interested in the animals enjoyed plating there while we explored.
We like this place. But am appalled by prices. My 12 yr old paid full price for golf . And this past yr when we went again, u gotta pay just to see the animals now it was ok. Nice golf spot. But I won't go back ... come to Victoria, we have a beautiful park that offers all these amenities for 1 price. ....
Cool, and very unique little spot. Complete with petting zoo, play area, and bumper cars. Not the beat mini putt course, but at least it offers the chance at a free game on hole 18 unlike the other one in windemere. I enjoyed some coffee, and probably the best ice cream in town after our game. They had root bear float ice cream, and I tried the peanut butter chocolate kind. Yummy!!! This was our second visit. Enjoyed it. 15 dollars per person for adults to play golf.
Friendly little place, should take young children, or young adults. Very affordable prices and should always be a choice when deciding what to do in Fairmont
Over priced! Go to Fairmont resort!
Not able to go into the pens
It was really pricey for a round of mini golf especially considering it was a pretty basic course with no fancy hazards like a windmill or ramp.
Very nice mini golf and lots of fun.
Fantastic amusement center with mini golf, bumper cars (Not running right now likely due to COVID restrictions), and even friendly alpacas and miniature ponies ringing the mini golf course! Petting friendly. Great place to take the kids (and adults) to have some fun! Friendly staff tops it all off! Beautiful surroundings in the trees, but bring your own bug spray (Off, etc.) to keep the mosquitoes at bay, as they use no harmful pesticides on site to protect the environment, pets, people etc.
Good place to have fun time with family.
We mini golfed at the fun park. It was a difficult but fun course. The ice cream after but the spot.
A little run down, but the staff is great!
Great place. Friendly staff. My Grandson loved it. Nice relaxed atmosphere. He especially loved Bunny Town.
Nothing really special to see.
Very friendly staff. We enjoyed a smoothie and a game of mini golf.
Very disappointing. Costly , sheep limps. Looks old and in pain, no staffing outside to help with tour..or help to pet animals
Amazing place for kids. Petting zoo has ponies, ostriches, bunnies, different types of goats, lamas. The food for anymals is available at the counter for purchase. Minigolf has 18 holes and you can win a free game. There are also bump cars which we didn't try during this visit.
Enjoyed the mini golf course, a bit home made but still fun. Rocks around the greens make your ball bounce erratically. Smooth curbs make a more predictable rebound.

Fun place to spend an afternoon. Kids loved it.
Good times here. Fun place!
Interesting....I'd use bug spray in the grass
Great to have a place like this in the area, the animals are incredibly friendly and the staff are extremely nice. Bumper cars were a blast. Great for young kids - my 8 year old loved it. We'll definitely be back!
This place is okay. It is well taken care of but the price is a little steep. For my four children to play a round of mini golf, ride the bumper cars (for about five minutes) and look at the "petting zoo" which is pretty much just looking at animals behind a fence it cost $113.40. As an adult, even if you just wanted to walk and watch your kids play mini golf they charge you an extra $4.50. If your kids would like to feed the animals it's $2.00 per bag of feed and that definitely doesn't go far. I do want to point out, that the staff was fantastically friendly. All in all, nice place but the value isn't there for the cost.
This place is very fun down from what it used to be
Great place for couples and kids!! Staff are super friendly and put lots of love and care Into the place
Super fun place, great friendly staff as well. Awesome mini golf course. All the animals were very friendly and well cared for by the people there will definitely go back again.
My friend works here. Awesome staff, fun place to play and bring your kids. Lots of animals and tasty ice cream!
This was a great way to spend a couple hours while in town. The gardens were beautiful and course was clean and well managed. Animals kept on the premise were friendly and great with loud children or large groups. Would recommend a stop if you enjoy mini golf and relaxing atmosphere.
Was so overpriced. Went with wife and 4 year old. Spent 10 min watching a mandatory video just to go on on bumper cars for a 5 min ride that cost over 50 dollers. Then while leaving was told that if we are going to stop at all on the only path back from the cars and look at rabbits in a cage that were on the trail or enjoy the 30 foot walk back At our own pace on the only path back from the cars that we would have to pay another 15 each.for the animal park expérience Unbeliveable. Have spent the whole day at amusement parks or at zoo for less then 5 min on bumper cars and looking at rabbits in a cage. Ended up getting a room at fairmont hotsprings with 3 pools to enjoy for night and next day for only 30 dollers more then we spent there in less then 20 min. Save your money. Not worth stoping at.
We played mini golf on a pretty and challenging course. If we had kids with us they would have loved the petting zoo and bumper cars. Lots of adults playing mini golf!
Super expensive for what's there! Deffinatly a waste of alot of money. Mini golf is ok but skip everything else! Will not be going back
Way way way overpriced.
Super friendly staff, which helped. Not a lot to do and not very good value for the cost in my opinion. Most suitable for younger kids (under 6).
Cute course but the pricing is way over the top! We could have played the Creekside Par 3 for less. If you have a young family bring lots of cash. 3 adults & 3 seniors $87.00 ????. No debit or credit cards accepted when we went.
Friendly people who run it but it cost $82.50 for our family to play a round of mini golf which I found to be too much. Nice enough course and our youngest loved seeing the animals around the course. We're a family of 6 so things add up quickly but we went to Radium Hot Springs for $26 as a value comparison. I'd like to rate it higher because the folks running it were very nice and there is clearly pride of ownership but it felt like a tourist trap with the price.
Really beautiful mini golf course and it's quite affordable compared to other attractions. Make sure to bring mosquito spray cause oh my goodness they are not afraid to bite here
Good well maintained park..28 yrs old parrot was so amazing
Over priced but cool for the kids
Always souch fun. Love the animals
It's fun for something to do as a family but very over priced.
A good stop for the family. Seemed a bit pricey, but they had lots of staff and seemed pretty organized. The "bumper cars" were different, but fun. The farm was ok. Family liked the ice cream the best.
Lots to do for young and old.
Good
OMG , well i was stupid not to listen to the other reviews. Very very over priced for entry to this place. Not really a petting zoo more like a observatory. Not only do you pay a high price for entry but you pay extra for a tiny bag of food. You can't even go into the pens and touch the animals. My little kid was soooooo disappointed. So at the end of the day DO NOT GO HERE unless your loaded with money and love to give it away. BUT the staff was nice. All i can say is lol man i got screwed.
Enjoyed our time here. A little bit unsteady on some of the steep walking paths, but also was trying to balance while carrying a toddler so that's part of it. Went for the petting zoo for the kids, and was slightly underwhelmed, but the kids had fun ????
It was ok nothing special
70$ CAD for a family of five just to see the "petting zoo" This park is VERY dated and the animals pens were disgusting and lacking fresh water (except rabbits) At the main office upon paying they explained what they had, for us to get the "complete" package it would have been 160+ with a water each. We opted to only do the petting zoo which was explained as "Tons of miniature animals to see with a pond and wishing well" The "pond" was a completely dry puddle spot with weeds growing. The wishing well was also bone dry with a bit of sludge in the bottom. The animals pens are run down dirty and broken in many spots. The staff were friendly but sort of misleading on the amount to do. Final thought: Stay away! You see better animals on the side of the road in better condition. Keep the money and skip this place! Would have been more impressed if the fee was 5-8 bucks and the pens were all redone and animals feed and watered more. Bleh.
Pricey but staff was really nice and friendly
Took the family for Mini Golf, Bumper Cars and Ice Cream easily dropped $200.00 their way. On the way over to the bumper cars my grand daughter wanted to look at three bunnies in a baby crib right by the door to the bumper cars. This employee came out and told us we didn't by the animal park experience so we couldn't look at the bunnies. WOW! Won't be back! Also Expensive!
I have been coming here as a kid, and I am still coming as an adult! Good social-distancing practices in place
Great place to stop for a break with the kids. Lots of mosquitos and pricey but it's a tourist attraction in the mountains so can't complain. Would definitely recommend!
Fun place to minigolf, friendly staff.
So great and cute! Such nice people running the park. I got like a bazillion bug bites though so bring bug spray!!!
A little run down, but the staff is great!
