It's a dog park that I was visiting, unfortunately we had to go through a children's play park to reach our destination..my dog is a friendly dog but was worried about an aggressive dog being walked thru the children's park..should rethink access to off leash dog park.

Love this spot. Super busy in the summer, there is a gazebo that is used for music and weddings sometimes. In the winter they put up ice sculptures!

Nice spot to hang out. There's a play structure and public washrooms. On Wednesdays during the summer there is a Market that sells fresh local produce as well as handmade items and food trucks. The market has live music so prepare yourself for acoustic dad tunes.

Best park in Banff. Highly recommend for a nice afternoon in the sun (does not apply to any days from Sept 15-June 30) . In the summer they do movies at the park, in the evening. Bring a blanket and someone to keep warm with. The mountains are an amazing backdrop for an evening at the movies.

We hit the farmers market today in the parking lot by the public bathrooms. Lots of really nice fresh produce etc. Mini donuts were excellent! Lots of great little vendors selling beef jerky, skin care stuff(including a natural hand sanitizer lotion). Will go again tomorrow ????

The kids asked for a park, so we took them. A couple of play structures for kids to make their own fun. Lots of tables to sit at and picnic. It's right along the Bow River, which we took a walk along after the kids were done playing. A nice break from the crowded sidewalks.

Very nice place to visit when in Banff. We were fortunate enough to be here for Canada Day. The town had set up a wonderful pavillion for live bands to entertain the crowds. Nice little park for kids to play on. Clean bathrooms for the public. Awesome trails along the Bow river that lead up to Bow Falls. Very neat and tidy

A much much smaller version of the NYC central park, it still has its own charm. The Banff version however, is very clean and trimmed well. You can relax on a bench, sit on the grass or even hang out by the river. There's also a public washroom nearby if you have to access any facilities.

Beautiful! We visited the market on the day and had a great time. Parking was free for the first 3 hrs. The market was small but had a nice selection of vendors. Some of the food we enjoyed: - Brazilian cheese bread - Grilled cheese sandwich - Bison jerky! You can’t really beat the view at the park either. Perfect for a picnic

Great resort to get away for a week. Great drive to see animal life on the highway and in the town. BEAUTIFUL lakes on the way. The resort has all the amenities, food is super great. And staff will help you with whatever you need.

Central park is not just the one in New York, there is one in Banff in Banff National Park. A beautiful park nestled in the middle of the mountains. Great views of the local mountains to take sweet photos. Got a picture of elk eating some bushes along the rivers edge. It would be the perfect place for a picnic if we were not there in the middle of winter.
