This Zoo is classified in the category of Amusement park.
I took my 4 and 6 year old and their friends, to Dinosaur park yesterday. It’s about a 90 minute drive East of Toronto, located in the Peterborough area. Overall, my kids really enjoyed themselves. The dinosaurs were pretty awesome and some of them moved and made sounds, which was a crowd pleaser. It takes about 15-20mins to drive through, if you go slowly. There’s an area to buy food and mini golf but we skipped that stuff. It would have been better if they had music playing throughout the park. I ended up playing the Jurassic park soundtrack while I was driving through and it made the experience 1000x better for everyone in the vehicle! Haha Some of the dinosaurs looked worn down (even though they’re a million years old) and the grounds could be better maintained. The dinosaur signage were also pretty plain and blah. Just felt that the park could do so much more to make it engaging and give people a reason to visit more than once. It’s a long drive out of the city, so making it memorable is key for repeat business. I think it falls short in that regard. But I’m glad we did it… once.
Our scheduled time was 3pm-3:15pm. It’s currently 5:10pm and we’re still in the line. We’ve been here waiting for more than two hours now. None of the organizers have explained why we’ve had to wait so long with little kids in the car. We deserve a refund for this horrible experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaur and insect exhibit, the kids really wanted some "fun facts" posters along the way but all and all it was excellent as always!
Loved it but. The big snapping turtle seemed depressed. I will not support wrongfull zoos but this zoo are recused animals and they try not to stress them out so I respect that hope to see this place get bigger land for their animals but great for family and kids!
Good place for kids
This is a great little gem! This place has it all! Social distance drive through park, mini golf, excellent food truck, and many other things along with the reptile zoo. I would highly recommend this place for a stop in
This place was awesome. I'm unsure whether the price is always like this but for $20 for the car, my 3 year old had a great time. The whole Dinosaur tour takes about 25-30 mins on total. While most of the dinosaurs had speakers next to them, not all of them had noises. About 10% of the dinosaurs move. There's a bunch of repeats (T-Rex, Raptor, Triceratops) and at one point there's a giant insect section. Again, you have to temper your expectations as an adult, but if you view it from the lens of a child, you'll appreciate the sense of wonder this place brings.
A nice little place for kids and family. Our kids loved the dinosaur safari ????
Excellent place to take the kids Our four year old loved it!
I'm really disappointed by the utter lack of customer service from these people. I bought my tickets to go and check out the park but when I got my receipt I realized I booked for the wrong day I meant to book for the Monday but I booked for the Sunday I got the actual dates wrong so I contacted them by email because they don't have a phone number and I asked him if there was any way I could possibly change it just for the next day because I wasn't even in town on the Sunday I was on my way back so I wouldn't be able to actually go to the park on a Sunday and that I had meant to purchase it for the Monday. This was a month and a half ago and they still haven't even bothered to contact me back but they sure were quick to take my money. Very disappointed that I paid to go check out this park and I never got to go and they do nothing to help you. Very disappointing experience.
The drive-thru portion is short but for the price... Totally worth it. My son BEGGED to go back through after we finished.
Little bit expensive but the kids love it! (Worth thr cost for rescuing the animals)
Took my toddler and he absolutely loved it!
My 3 year old loved this place! There was a variety of things to keep him interested and engaged for well over an hour. He was particularly fascinated by the animatronic dinosaurs which were a very fun element and kept him entertained. We could have stayed longer and played mini putt but it was pretty warm out and it was in full sun.
It was a short but nice experience for the kids. They loved the animatronic dinosaurs. I wish the dinosaurs trail was longer with them in their own ecosystem. I am giving this place 3 stars for a few reasons. The main reason is the price went up for tickets and the reptile zoo is closed.
2021/June- Great park. great set up. my kids were very happy and it worth the money Only the downside is that you can see the road and man made buildings when you are on the track. Hope they will cover these made made structures with trees since they are still working on this park. Hope to go there again next year please make it real like the Jurassic park where you cannot see the hi-way or the buildings when we are on the track. My kids were very happy and we really enjoyed. It’s with what we paid.
Was pretty good didn't get food costs à lot
Dinosaur exhibit has been under construction status all summer. Display is rough and amateur. Seeing broken models laying around, not impressive. Mini golf was not bad, also rough and in need of cleanup and maintenance. Food from chip truck was good, but it took 55 minutes to prepare - we were told 10 minutes. The whole experience was a bit pricey for the effort put in. A lot of effort was put in to support this charity. I'd like to see the financials.
Nice place here, the reason for four stars only is because at the end of trail was rush by the keeper. You know, lots photos need to take, don’t rush. Specially you have a sign there says slow and take your time. ????
Amazing!!!!! I am 53 and my nephew just less than five and we both loved it!! Need vegan options on the food truck though!
We had a lot of fun, we. Ought our tickets online so we didn't even have to get out of the car.y daughter enjoyed the dinosaurs a lot. She also enjoy the big bugs
Decent experience for the kids which they enjoyed. Chip truck on site was delicious.
Kids had fun. Great activity to do during COVID closures. 15-20 minutes to drive through. Had mini golf out front if you feel to work on your putting.
Very fun place to go, lots of animals and reptiles. Very cool to see some new things. Its great to see conservation open to the public.
Lovely set up. Not very big though but super exciting for children.
Family friendly ????????????????♀️ it was not, my little one was scared but were Halloween crazy so we’ll get over it! Amazing decor, great actors, loved it all
Drive-thru and walk-thru tour of dino park, includes any animatronic dinosaurs of all sizes. Friendly staff. Good food from food truck.
Two hour drive from GTA. Really cool place for all family, specially for kids who love dinosaurs and Jurassic Park movies. The gift shop and washroom open.
Great place to visit, animatronic dinosaurs all around, reptiles and bugs are spread out as well throughout the park, they plan to release a new site in 2021 with new dinosaurs. You can allow your children to look out the car without seat belts as long as you drive slow. They just ask you to remain in the car at all times, if you have a sun roof, even better. Porter potties setup at the exit and enough space to park your car and stretch your legs, nothing around the area otherwise. Pack good amount of snacks and water. Do get eaten ????
This place is great if you have a 2-5 year old. The tour is about 20 Min. My 6 year old was uninterested after the first 5 min, but the little guy wanted to keep seeing them do nothing. They are mostly statues. There needs to be louder sounds and larger movement by these dinosaurs, and perhaps further from the road so that it feels like you are in a jungle. Most of the dinosaurs are quite small, but it ends with four larger sized dinosaurs which both the kids enjoyed. It’s a good concept and a great place to start. They Can only improve from here on. It’s not worth a drive from the GTA, but if you are local than it’s worth a trip but I wouldn’t think it’s worth more than 20$ per car. We paid 30$.
This place is amazing, it's a very nice growing business that I hope next year it will be even more organized. The staff is very polite and friendly. There is a guy who is very kind and specially with the kids , I think he is the owner. Very good job , I'll be back next year for sure . I think this place has a lot more to offer to the public.
Great experience for toddlers, amazing experience for our 2 hear old she learned a new word and enjoyed the moving talking dinosaur ????????
Fun for the kids the route is small but for $22 its absolutely worth it specially in COVID-19 times all the different dinosaurs was nice to see
Amazing place! All the live reptiles we're very active, which you don't normally see at a zoo. And the dinosaur area was incredible and far exceeded expectations.
Loved it so much, they opened up the walking path again, and the reptile zoo is kind of small but still pretty incredible! The "croc-walk" was fun even though most of them were inside! 2 tips, don't walk your littles all the way through the souvenir shop, and bring cash for the chip truck!
This is a great little gem! This place has it all! Social distance drive through park, mini golf, excellent food truck, and many other things along with the reptile zoo. I would highly recommend this place for a stop in
WOW WOW WOW what a fantastic time. Very reasonably priced and everyone had a BLAST! Fun for every age group! We can’t wait to come back!
Totally fun to.the kids, the dinosaurs was fantastic!! A short trip but amazing for the kids.
I don't know how I feel about the price tag of using the drive through dinosaur park, but I will say that our toddler absolutely loved the time we spent here. We heard the word WOW at least a few dozen times during our drive. I'd definitely recommend this place if you can spare the money to do it. Keep in mind that the money you spend here goes toward keeping the animals at the reptile zoo cared for.
The kids really enjoyed it.
I am a giant kid. I love dinosaurs and reptiles. We came here for my birthday and I was transported back in time when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Taking the dinosaur driven tour was like a prehistoric safari with dinos and their names. Some were animatronic with sounds and it was awe-inspiring. Besides that, they had a reptile display where we had the pleasure of speaking to one of the staff that worked with the crocodiles and alligators and we were informed of this companies noble and not-for-profit foundations.
Always great fun.
June 7 2020 drove from the city to their drive through Dino Adventure. Overall was great for the kids, they were excited. The whole drive through lasted 10-15 mins max, we asked to go around again but was denied even though we came from a very far distance away for this. Some dinosaurs move and make sounds, washroom available poutine cart outside. Something to do in a pandemic, but fast and simple. Would not drive out there again.
We really enjoyed.
We drove here for the drive through dinosaur experience. The place it self is visible from the main roads with large signs, and the drive here from Toronto was refreshingly scenic. The staff extremely friendly and great at what they do. It was a great quick getaway from the covid quarantine.
Good place for a family drive through. Realistic dinosaurs. Kids loved it.
We loved the drive thru dinosaurs exhibit it was great.
My kid is 2 1/2 and thought this was the greatest thing she had ever seen.
Such a fun little roadside attraction, great layout and a lot of silly and campy fun. Not worth going out of your way to visit, but if you happen to be in the area it’s a lot of fun!
Have been pre / post covid and recommended for young children. Right now (2020) $20 a car to go through to see the statues and animatronic dinosaurs. To really sell the experience highly recommend going through while blasting jurassic Park theme music
Lots to see and all money donated goes back to their rescue reptiles. That's what I call bang for your buck. The drive thru Dino experience was my personal favorite
Family and I did the drive thru for $30 dollars and it took about 20 mins. It was entertaining for a 4 year old. The walk through option could have been a better option.
Took the kids and we had a great time going through the drive through dinosaur park. You can see a huge pile of anamatronic dinasaurs moving their heads and tails. Depending on how busy it is, the tour takes about 30 minutes to get through.
A little short of a trip through their dinosaur forest, a little pricey, but fun for the kids, especially during a pandemic! Decent food truck onsite, they could use more flavour. Mini-putt on location as well but did not try! We will be back, to visit the indoor reptiles once it opens again (COVID Stage 3.
These guys are doing amazing work!! I love that this place is all about conservation and all the creatures here are rescues. Not only that, all the money you spend goes back into the place to help keep it going. Perfect for a short trip with the family!
Good place to visit with young kids price reasonable.
Very good place to visit and zoo is clean and nice... Much fun for kids and new reptiles to see all at one place.... It's non-profit organization so definitely visit once to help them out. You will love it to see how they care this exotic animals.... Very friendly staff...
What an awesome experience! Took my boyfriend here (2 hour drive) without telling him where we were going. His Jeep is in the style of Jurassic Park from the 93’ classic film. He was excited when we pulled up. Grabbed lots of pics, and the staff was super friendly. They asked if they could grab pics for their social media page and of course we let them. A lot of the visitors also asked/or just simply took pics of our Jeep. Super great to actually drive the Jeep through a dino exhibit. We’ll 100% be returning. Thanks for the memories!!
Great outing with the kids. Both kids loved the dinosaurs and my youngest roared right along with them. We ended up going around a second time because the kids loved it so much. Definitely worth the drive!
I loved this experience with my son. He was a bit scared at first and told me to just drive lol ( hes 3 and a half ) he warmed up to it and thought it was really cool and kept saying look mommy look. I was lucky to go while the reptile part was open that was totally awesome too we loved seeing the snakes being so active and and my son loved the alligators. We will definitely visit again ????
Awesome place to be, first time going and it was a blast!
Went for the Halloween event Kids loved it
My 10 year old loved it. He was very pleased.
Our 4 year.old granddaughter just loved it.
Awesome place. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Kids enjoyed it! We went for the Halloween special night. Some things were hard to see in the dark, maybe add a few dim lights to see better but overall fun experience.
Very nice adventure for the whole family. Specially in this price, it's an amazing place to be with your kids. Massive dinosaurs are making weird sounds... My kids loved it. And there's mini golf as well if you want more fun....
Really cool! It would have been nice if there was a bit more there to do. 30 is pretty steep for just a drive thru attraction when you can't even really stop. Cool though if you have a little dinosaur lover!
Always great fun.
Great place for children and staff is very friendly. Awesome job!
Great little detour for the kiddies.
Great place to bring the little ones! Lots to see.
Fun even for adults! We went during Halloween season for the drive through Dinosaur trail and they had some of the kids dress up and entertain the drive along the trail. One of them was hiding in the bushes and scared me pretty good! It was a really fun experience and I was also really happy that they allowed dogs, my puppy was having the time of her life in the car watching the moving Dinos ????
Went for Halloween, many great designs and spooks for the kids. Long lineup though 4-5 times the length of the event was in the lineup on the side of the highway, thankful that no kids needed to restroom.
My 4 yr old son was super scared and started crying when seeing the life size moving robotic dinosaurs on the tour. It was priceless. Nice display of every kind of dinosaurs. It has potential becoming something big. More investment is needed to make this park even better. Keep up the good work.
Fun and so much to see...kids had a blast.
Great place on a a chilly day ..The boys loved it
Friendly staff, nice place to visit. Due to COVID, we had to stay in our car for the tour but its alright, my kids loved it.
Super fun time with our 2 year old son. The lineup looked really busy for the drive-thru but it actually moved pretty quickly. Most of the things were closed due to Covid-19 but still worth the drive and price of admission. Highly recommend!
Very good collection of the gigantic reptiles who once ruled this planet. A few exhibits are too good - almost too good to be true. The drive through is also mapped out very well. There’s a mini-golf course as well. If only the facilities were a bit more elaborate, it would be a 5-star place. Only one chip-truck to chose from and the gift shop is pretty decent
20 minutes drive through, some dinosaurs are animated while some are stagnant.
The coolest place to go! A good afternoon of fun!
It's a great inexpensive place to take the kids. They have a great gift shop, picnic area and mini put. The customer service is excellent
Such a fantastic experience for the family. We will be back! Tickets were purchased online and no contact admission. Staff was hilarious.
Very fun and safe place to visit during social distancing times
A lot of fun for the whole family. Get up close and personal with many different types of reptiles during the animations. Plus see animated dinosaurs.
This was so much fun! My husband and I stopped here while on the bikes and did the walk through. They have a large selection of rescued snakes, alligators, turtles. Of course the dinosaurs are the main attraction.
My son can't stop talking about the dino park. Worth the drive
Pretty cool drive thru. Might be a bit overpriced for a drive-by (reptile farm not included unfortunately). But still awesome
Great experience! Took my 5 year old and he had a great time. I went on a weekday and it was not busy at all. We gave a small donation for a second round!
My son and I had a blast! Love the idea of a dinosaur drive thru. The animatronic dinosaurs and insects were incredible. The detailing was impressive. I felt like I was in a Jurassic Park movie. There is a lot to learn and do. We visited the reptile sanctuary and browsed the gift shop. They even have a mini putt area. The best time to visit is at 10am right when the park opens. Make sure and take your time to see the exhibit. The cost of tickets is $20 per vehicle. All proceeds go towards the sanctuary in support of the reptiles. It was great to feel like a kid again!
Absolutely overdelivers for the price. From a kids perspective this beats the ROM
They have extended the drive thru.. my son LOVED it and can't wait to go back.. I was a bit of a drive for us (almost 3.5 hrs) but so Worth it to see my son's face.. this was our 3rd time going.
I visited today for the first time and it was such a fun experience for the kids. It was a great price and staff were super friendly! Every time my kids saw a team member, they put the glass down to say hello, and each staff member was super nice! I would 100% recommend.
Great fun. Definitely worth visiting!!
My daughter always love it when we visit the dinosaur park! Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Best money i’ve ever spent hands down. This park is full of big dogs like my boy Roofus and Anthony. Anyone wishing to complete the G Herbo challenge has to visit.
COVID SAFE Dinosaur Drive Thru was excellent... 15 bucks a car about 30 min around... Kids loved it!
Great experience. My youngest son was very excited. People who work there were very nice and friendly. Issues: the visitors. Some visitors don't respect the rules for Covid. People …
** So I have not been to the Zoo in many, many years.** My wife and I were at the Dinosaur Exhibit that the Indian River Reptile Zoo had hosted at the Lansdowne Mall. We had a good time looking at the Dinosaur even if there were a few mistakes in them. The staff there were really helpfull and friendly. There was a gentleman who I was chatting with we had a good talk about Dinosaurs. After our visit there when the weather gets better we will head over to the Zoo. After talking to the staff and looking at the site map a lot has changed.
Fun for the kids the route is small but for $22 its absolutely worth it specially in COVID-19 times all the different dinosaurs was nice to see
The kids really enjoyed it.
Fantastic, the details on the dinosaurs are incredible. Very nicely planned out driving tour. Go slow and take in all the intricacies on all the creatures. Alot of them are animated and make sounds. Great fun for children!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaur display, definitely worth the drive down! Price was great and by car, dinosaurs are nicely spaced apart and labelled, some of the dinosaurs move and make noise, and the attention to detail on the dinosaurs and displays was really nice. We had a bit of a wait to get in on the side of the road, but the line moved quite steady. Would definitely recommend visiting! A great activity to do even with covid as its a drive thru activity.
Awsome place to take the kids. Covid has made it a little unorganized and looks like they are working on a few things outside. May have to go back next year see what they have done
It's was nice and exciting we all enjoyed it there except the long drive
Affordable Family fun! We love this place!!!
Nice fun place for the kids. Only pity is that its too short. Can hang around after seeing the dinos and enjoy a picnic. Its a great effort with making the dinosaurs look real. Reach between 11-12 on a weekend to enjoy. Can get crowded. The gift shop is nice place run by some friendly staff. The mini golf course is some fun with the family as well
I want to thank the very kind staff at your park for their generosity and kindness. Yesterday, my car stopped working and we had it towed to Ajax. We were not allowed to go with the tow truck driver. We had no where to wait with our belongings until our friends could come from Toronto to pick us up. The staff allowed us to put our belongings under a shelter. They told us we could stay there until our friends showed up. They offered us an umbrella and as closing time came upon them, they offered garbage bags to keep us and our belongings dry. We can't tell them how appreciative we were for all their kindness during a stressful situation. Thank you to all your supportive staff. Sandra Vieira
My boy loves dinosaurs so he was so excited to see all these dinos. Lots of dinos and insects, some move and make sound. Good for kids.
Excellent place to go with kids. They do have sitting and play area as well. Drive through is easy with kids and You'll definitely learn about the dinosaurs ????????. There's a food van too with decent food options. One can easily spend 3-4 hours at this place.Around $38 for a car entry. Since, most of the dinosaurs moves with sound effect that would definitely create an excitement among kids.
Great little place , more for younger kids (under 13) but great animals !!
Lovely set up. Not very big though but super exciting for children.
Lame... No live animals, just a drive through, seeing some giant dinosaur and insect toys.
Awesome place to bring the kids. They will love it!!!
It’s great visit, we did this summer and kids really had fun seeing almost life size Dino’s. There is a store to buy stuff and to use washrooms. Clean and well organized. Remember the drive through is about 15 -20 mins max and worth price and it’s al going to the maintenance of the reptiles in the facility .
We were quite disappointed at the park yesterday. Most of the Dinosaurs had no roaring sounds effects, they were just moving like dummies. And rest were just disappointing as they were just there for display no movements and no sound effects. Very very disappointing trip and waste of money it was.
We really enjoyed the drive thru, my daughter couldn't get enough. We had to postpone mini golf though, because of our own things, but we are heading back today.
My daughter loooove this place! It's our second time this year and there are few addition from last year. Looking forward for their croc walk though. I just hope there will be less T rex and show more of other kind of dinos and also some not famous dino doesn't have a name. Overall we'll def come back!
Drove out for almost two hours but my 3 year old loved it. He was talking about it for days. Very clean and you can have a picnic outside by the mini golf area.
What an amazing facility, almost all of the animals on display are rescues. Since my visit I have been reading up on some of the rescues, and I have learned that this facility truly goes above and beyond in their endevaours. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. All of the animals appeared to be housed in appropriate, roomy, enclosures; appearing very relaxed. I loved every minute of my visit and will definitely be going back.
A nice little place for kids and family. Our kids loved the dinosaur safari ????
2nd visit for us here. It’s fun for little kids. The little reptile zoo is open now. Staff are professional. You can go see the Peterborough lift locks after.
Stopped by, pretty sure it was closed, dinos are cool as hell tho!!!
While some the Dinosaurs were a little bit scientifically inaccurate, I enjoyed taking their pictures. Along with the many snakes and reptiles that live there too.
They did a fantastic job of offering something fun and safe during such a difficult time. My son who's almost 3 is dinosaur obsessed and he absolutely loved this! We visited 7 times during the season and each time there seemed to be something new or different which kept it exciting for everyone. We just recently visited for the Halloween event and we sure weren't disappointed. We went early enough that my son wasn't scared but it may be a little scarier in the dark. Definitely family friendly.
Totally fun to.the kids, the dinosaurs was fantastic!! A short trip but amazing for the kids.
We liked it very much but the entrance and some more trees or shed would be better feel. Road side vehicle sound distracting kids
I wasn’t able to take kids out due to COVID-19. Then I saw the ad for Dinosaur Park. It is around 160kms from Toronto, and you reach there in under 2 hours. The whole dinosaur area is the drive-through. Keeping in mind that we went on a weekend, it was not too busy. Visitors are asked to stay in their cars at all times and keep driving. The park itself is not too big but just enough to keep the kids entertained. Dinosaurs models look very real. They blink their eyes, move their mouths and other body parts. One is even eating a small dinosaur. Remember to open car windows as the park has sound effects too. We missed a piece of sound effects as we didn’t know that. Charges are nominal and are charged per vehicle and not per visitor. Booking can be made online. The food truck was also open there, but we weren’t comfortable eating outside yet. Overall a lovely experience to get a feel of Jurassic Park movies on a smaller scale.
Nice walk with the kids ... Didn't know there so many dinosaurs. Nice helpful staff. Place could use some cleanliness
Super fun. Wonderful experience for young children. A great family time.
We stopped over on the way back from Ottawa to Hamilton. It was not disappointing. There were lots of dinosaurs, some with animatronics and sounds, so windows open! The kids loved it!
Great experience! Great place for really young kids i.e. 5 years old or under that are dinosaur enthusiasts. Went together with family and bought the tickets online which usually cost about $35. The staff were friendly and professional. The self-guided driving tour was rather slow and boring, especially for us older adults. A lot of dinosaurs, especially T-Rex. With some odd bunch of insects which don't necessarily fit the theme. Overall, a one time experience sort of thing that I wouldn't do again.
Great experience - nothing like it. Kids loved it
Had so much fun. Dinos were really cool!
Amazing! Do not miss the opportunity to visit this incredible place. I was incredibly impressed with what they are doing - very educational, incredible staff that very knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and attentive. There's something for everyone of all ages.
Great experience for kids. It is a long line on weekends, but we all (kids and adults) enjoyed the trip. There a mini golf for $7 for kids, and also you can buy a snack( hot dogs and French fries). Though the dinosaur drive through is going quickly you can still spend some time there and create adventure.
We liked it very much but the entrance and some more trees or shed would be better feel. Road side vehicle sound distracting kids
Good for kids, they really enjoyed. Covid 19 situation allow us to gothrogh only in vehical but if you can take time and enjoy all.
Loved the place, the stuffs are friendly and helpful
The next best thing to visiting the actual Jurassic Park. Very friendly staff and very impressive dinosaurs. The large T-Rex and Spinosaurus were lifesize and gave us a scare with the great sound effects. The velociraptors sneaking up really excited the kids. Great place, awesome gift shop.
We loved it. 3 small boys screamed I'm joy! The drive through was safe and very exciting. At start the Dino's are spaced out the end is amazingly amazingness!
I was very impressed by the reptile zoo. They have a nice collection of reptiles, and the nicest dinosaur park I've been to! It was educational without feeling like it. The staff were engaging, knowledgeable and very friendly. The gift shop is very nice and good for all budgets. We got lunch at the food truck on property and found the food filling and reasonably priced.
My son and I had such an amazing time! The dino drive thru was fascinating. Loved the set up. It felt as though we were in a Jurassic Park movie. The detailing on the insects and dinosaurs were impressive! It looked life like. We also checked out the reptile sanctuary. There were different species of snakes, lizards, turtles and crocodiles. There was lots to learn. They even had an area for mini golfing, a food truck and a gift shop. Tickets are $20.00 per vehicle. I love the fact that the park is a charity. All proceeds are in support of the reptiles. Its for a very good cause. It felt good being a kid again.. I highly recommend you bring your family and friends!
I came because my son likes dinosaurs. I did not know how much we would like it and I was ready for disappointment but the park was quite impressive. People like taking pictures and this place is great for that. The mini-putt area is quite scenic and free (though I think they could have had more clubs even with social distancing in place) and one can stick a camera outside the car and take some great shots. You can do the whole drive through again (15-25 minutes) for a small donation. We did that and think it is definitely worth the money. I would have liked all dinosaurs to have name cards but a lot did not. There were some random insects, pelicans and reptiles thrown in. I appreciated the extra value but it did not fit in thematically. There is a food truck there. She only takes etransfer or cash. The food, of course, was over priced but good. She did not wear a mask or used gloves. Now I don't think she cooked the food but she is handing it out to people. There are a couple of wow moments so it is definitely checking out if you have any interest or if your kids want to go.
The kids loved it.
Great place to visit, Unique experience for the children, Great way of educating the children, Very friendly staff, And friendly environment Something for the kids to remember for quite sometime
Great way to while away a couple of hours. Our five year old loved it!
Great family fun although the price tripled in the last year. It is now $30.00 per vehicle. Younger kids may enjoy this experience .
Low-budget, it’s good for little kids. Also unfinished so a bit hard to judge. Don’t drive 1.5+ hours to get here if you don’t have children with you. The end of the tour was great. The rest was too static.
Great experience. The dinosaur drive was alot of fun. Cute stuff at affordable prices in the gift shop. Kids had a blast. Cant wait to go back when the pandemic limitations lift.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much it's changed in the past decade. It's now bright, clean and the animals have more outdoor access. It's a rescue centre now. The outside Dino area is huge, lots of life sized dinos and the kids love it. You can either walk thru for $12/adult, $7 per kid over 4, or drive thru like a safari for $30. They also have mini golf, and a really good chip truck with decent prices. 4 stars because there was no shade to sit down in and eat, and it was really hot that day. They need to create shade somehow.
The facility is amazing! So much passion and knowledge of reptiles! The animals are well cared for. Lots of activities for the whole family. Especially enjoyed the Croc Walk and the mini golf course. Must visit! Do not miss the dinosaur exhibit!
Saw this place from a Instagram page I follow and thought it would be cool to take my kids. The boys loved all the dinosaurs and the fact that they move and make noise. The drive thru is very quick, I thought it would’ve been a bit longer …
As a family, we loved our visit to the Dino's park. It is well organized with a lot of dinosaurs. Many of the dinosaurs were animated and my kids loved that. The park is must go in the summer!
Made the 2.30hr trip from Orangeville for great time with our Dino-loving tot. It really was a great time with the dinosaur safari and seeing the reptiles. The zoo is wheelchair friendly. There is also an on site food truck for yummy bite to eat.
Really cool place for all family, specially for kids who love dinosaurs and Jurassic Park movies. The washrooms and gift shop are open.
Cool concept and kids loved it. About 1.5 hours from Scarborough. Reptile area closed to the public currently. Could be more interactive and creative maybe app based audio guide?
The kids loved it.
The dinosaur park was cool but kind of disappointed. The reptile zoo was fantastic!
More dinosaurs than i was expecting, and very good quality too! I was impressed, and our kid loved it!
Very good place to visit and zoo is clean and nice... Much fun for kids and new reptiles to see all at one place.... It's non-profit organization so definitely visit once to help them out. You will love it to see how they care this exotic animals.... Very friendly staff...
Horrible horrible horrible experience. We’ve been in line for almost three hours and our turn still hasn’t come for a 3pm drive through. No one has come to give any explanation as to why this crazy delay has happened. These organizers should never attempt at organizing any event again.
Awesome place. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great little detour for the kiddies.
I visited today for the first time and it was such a fun experience for the kids. It was a great price and staff were super friendly! Every time my kids saw a team member, they put the glass down to say hello, and each staff member was super nice! I would 100% recommend.
Covid times visit. The dinosaur drive thru is a great idea. My kids are 11 and 8 and it gave them thrill. The only disappointing thing is that it lasted only 25 mins. Especially since we drove 1.15 mins to get there bu then after we went to have a picnic by the lock 21 park. Interesting piece if engineering right here in Ontario. Worlds highest hydraulic lift system. Who knew. We picked up some poutine from whistle stop cafe and headed to the park. They have dozens of poutine options here.
My two boys and there friends had a blast it is a great experience for any age really.
Lots of dinosaurs, not all realistic size, but our twins 3 year olds loved it!
Worth the drive especially if you have a little dino enthusiast! Only did the drive thru but worth doing a donation to do another go around. Little gift shop was difficult to keep social distance. Mini putt has no dinosaurs but kept up.
What a great exhibit! The dinosaurs were so realistic and it was a great experience!
Awesome Dinosaur ride, the whole family loved how close we could get to them.
Absolutely overdelivers for the price. From a kids perspective this beats the ROM
Fun experience, great reptiles, reasonable prices in the gift/souvenir shop.
My grandson loves it here. The price as of today Aug 21st its what you can donate when you arrive. We gave $20 and they were very happy. The cash goes for the reptiles and up keep of the dinasours. Mini putt was also open today. My grandson had a grilled cheese at the food truck. Place was pretty busy today.
Idea is good kids enjoying lot but one special effect missing which is sound systems, existing sound systems not enough for this kind of park , need some thing like Jurassic park theme and sound effects . Overall good place for kids.
My 2 years daughter loved it untill they stat roaring????. But it is fun experience for kids. Lots of dinasours and other insect. Staff was very courteous.
A pretty great experience & wonderful for the children to experience & see the types of Dinosaurs
It was a fun stop.a little expensive, but a nice break on our travels
Kids loved this place. Told a friend about it and now he is taking his kids as well!!
Loved the drive thru. We got asked if we would like to pay $40 for a gift bag to feed the reptiles. We said sure. We paid already for the drive thru as well as the mini putt. We figured we would do one more round. They asked for a donation again? Apparently the $40 gift bag was not good enough. My advice to the establishment. If someone's already paid for the drive thru, as well as mini putt for two adults plus a kid as well as a $40 gift bag which lets be real isn't worth $40 but you do it to support the animals they should be allowed to do a second time without asking for change. Especially if one has already spent a lot of $$$. I've come all the way from Ottawa.
Kids loved it. Was too short though. But staff is very kind. Has gift shop and food truck( food truck accepts only cash or et) also a reptile area for additional cost.
My daughter loved the drive thru dino zoo. It was worth it and money goes to a good cause
The place is great for kids, however for those who are travelling far to attend such as myself, the drive through should be a bit longer, not just 15 mins. A great place if you make full day by attending here then the big apple attraction on the way home.
It's really amazing place an a big experience for the kids!
The kids (ages 1-7) loved it. It was all just a little weird for me, both times we drove through, a little circa early nineties animatronics. But the kids loved so it gets five stars.
Awesome for kids and adults and pricing isn't too bad. Toon our granddaughter and she had a blast
We had a lovely afternoon at the Indian River Reptile Zoo! The staff was so friendly and helpful - special shout-out to Lindsay! Our kiddos LOVED the Dino drive thru. The food at the food truck was really good. Everything was very reasonably priced. As locals who have often driven by and always meant to go visit, we'll definitely be back when they are open full scale!
This is a great idea for a kids park. Pricing is fair during the COVID-19 situation, I'm not sure what it would be on a regular season. The areas are under developed and there's just a poor presentation of the overall experience. We all know animals are not real but even my kids were laughing at the arrangement and blending of animals-landscape. The distance is kot a problem. We parents will go the distance for our kids.
Kids had an awesome time.
Pushing an experimental medical jab. Discusting business. I will never support this kind of business!
Fantastic facility. Animals appear well cared for and their habitats are very well maintained. Super friendly and informative staff offer a great, educational experience. Kids had a blast as well!!! Prices are well within reason and we will definitely take advantage of the picnic/hiking path the next time we are there.
Great Place to take your kids out and explore.
Kids loved it definitely doing the drive thru dinosaur tour next time the walk thru just doesn't cut it
My 4 year old Grandson loved it ... I did too! Drive-thru only still at this time. $30 a car...great value.
Short and sweet...it would be amazing if more attractions are added on site for visitors to see and do. But everything takes time. I love to support little and upcoming places like these. Looking forward to an expansion over the next few years.
Loved the drive thru Dino drive. Lots of cool and well made animatronics, and not just dinosaurs! Enlarged bugs, birds, and even stuff like crocodiles. All through the forest. The gift shop was well stocked as well!
My wife and I DEFINITELY did NOT take a three hour drive to come see OVER 100 DINOSAURS and giggle the entire time blaring the Jurassic Park theme music/soundtrack.
Was a really fun experience. I would like to go back here with my sisters. The mini golf course was fun and so creative. The dinosaurs drive thru is awesome it is about 20-25 minutes long. There is a gift shop as well also that the stuff is friendly. There is a indoor tour of the reptiles and dinosaurs. There prices for the mini golf is a little pricey but it was worth it. If you didn't got a ticket online for the dinosaur tour and insect included there is a ticket both going into the dinosaurs tour with awesome facts and joke's.
For $20 we were not expecting much but it was worth the drive and the kids absolutely loved it!
My little boys had lots of fun there. It's worth the drive.
Kids were blown away especially my six year old son because he loves dinosaurs. $20 per vehicle and it’s a 15 minutes drive thru

Took the family to the Dinosaur Drive-through and it was lots of fun. My kids had a blast and did not want to leave! The staff is amazing and happily answered all of our questions at the entrance. We also got lucky as the lineup of cars to get in was only about 7 minutes. Lots of fun, will go back again!
Experience - drive thru only The drive thru was pretty short for what I was expecting. There was not many information panels about the dinosaurs, and a lot of repeat Dino's. Washrooms were Jimmy John's , fairly clean though. Only a few moved / made sounds. Not something I would personally do again.
We went during covid. It was nice to be able to do something. Wish the drive thru was a bit longer. Washrooms/gift shop was clean and had good covid guidelines.
The kids loved going through the drive thru. We went 3 times already. Great time!!
A little gem in Eastern Ontario. Drive thru is great, but take your time and don't feel rushed. The walk thru experience has a ton of super venomous snakes, turtles and alligators/cross. The Dino piece seemed to be in progress hoping next year sees some dinos face the walking customer as it is more costly than the drive through. Dinos are well rendered and my kids loved it, even the preteen found something cool about it lol
So much fun. Our 3 year old just loves it and the staff is always friendly. We drive 2 hours to get there and have been there many times. Well worth the trip!
Roarrr! Saw this place while driving and decided to stop and see what it is all about. If you love Dino’s and reptiles, look no further! The store is cool and funky with lots of toys and games. Their drive-thru experience is short (about 20 mins) and a bit pricey for the time spent (30$) but it was sweet. I didn’t realize that the dinos come to life when you get close to them. I would say it’s a fun way to spend a good 30 mins!
Not what I expected. Very short drive through. The pictures definelty make it look bigger and better than it is.it’s for a good cause so ok to spend the $. The food truck there was horrible so definitely bring your own food if planning to stay for a while
Was a short drive through the park but they will let you go a second time for a small change donation. If you have a dino crazed child its worth the money. You have to stay inside your car but you can take all the photos you like
Live animals, an almost Jurassic park themed tour. Gift shop and mini golf. Something for everyone.
Made the 2.30hr trip from Orangeville for great time with our Dino-loving tot. It really was a great time with the dinosaur safari and seeing the reptiles. The zoo is wheelchair friendly. There is also an on site food truck for yummy bite to eat.
Loved it here! Jonah our private tour guide was so knowledgeable and we learned alot. I love that they have saved the animals and gave them this awesome place to live! If you are in the peterborough area...please stop in!
We went to the dinosaur park and my daughter throughout enjoyed herself (as did we surprisingly!). There is quite a line up of cars to get in, so expect to wait upwards of 45 minutes. Staff was very friendly. The dinosaurs themselves were very realistic and spaced apart (with labels) in a way so that you could enjoy each one. Great family trip! Highly recommend!
Fantastic activity that doesn't break the bank! (Safari by vehicle) very very fun! The dinosaurs move and make sound. The food on place is soooo good.
Not what I expected. Very short drive through. The pictures definelty make it look bigger and better than it is.it’s for a good cause so ok to spend the $. The food truck there was horrible so definitely bring your own food if planning to stay for a while
Took my toddler and he absolutely loved it!
My kid loves the mini putt golf :)
We did the dinosaur drive thru and it was AWESOME!!! If you have a dinosaur fan in your family you must go here!
Love this place cheap admission 12 .00 for adults had a great time there
My son had a great time at the Dinosaur Park (age 3). Weeks later and won't stop talking about it! I would definitely recommend going.
What a great exhibit! The dinosaurs were so realistic and it was a great experience!
Good place for kids
Ok place but it's pretty boring and overpriced for what it is. Lots of gators and snakes but nothing too fascinating then they have a random dinosaur park in the back with cheap 'special effects'. Good for kids but that's about it.
lots of fun for kids. only problem we have to wait for washroom long time. ????
Too good for kids. My kids really liked it and enjoyed each moment in th drive thru
Great time for the family. Halloween themed, Dinosaur drive thru. Oct. 29. 2020 Aprox. $23.00 a car load. For a donation we were allowed to go through multiple times. The kids really enjoyed that part. We loved it! Cant recommend it enough to family w/ children. Enjoy!!!
Nice for day out with ur 4- 5 year old kids Kids loved it ????????
What an AMAZING time!! So many animatronic and model dinosaurs (and other critters), not to mention the live reptiles, and minigolf. Food truck was a good spot for lunch too! Great day trip for dinosaur lovers of all ages. Well worth the drive from Toronto.
Very cool place for kids and adults too! Enjoy a 20-25 minutes drive thru and watch many live size dinosaurs, many with sound and movement! Cost $22.23 and you can go again for a small donation (July 2020).
Great family fun although the price tripled in the last year. It is now $30.00 per vehicle. Younger kids may enjoy this experience .
Pretty good place to take toddlers or young children.
This place was great! The only problem is that the gift shop was very overpriced!
Too much hype created for the place that is not worth the price they are asking for. Totall disappointing experience
Stopped by, pretty sure it was closed, dinos are cool as hell tho!!!
We really enjoyed.
