I loved this place. We went on Tuesday at the opening time, and were the only visitors there. We got a private, educational tour of all the reptiles in the zoo, because we were the only ones there. Next time, I am going by myself, as kids are too distracting....????????.

Arrived about 4pm on a Tuesday and had the place completely to ourselves. The facility is super clean and well cared for. Was able to spend an hour and 45 minutes walking through it twice with a 2 year old and 3 year old.

I took my 3 year old son to Reptilia and came in with misconception towards reptiles. After the visit, I gained a much better understanding of reptiles in general through the conversations with the highly knowledgeable staff. My son really loved the big active snakes and you can get much "closer" to them as you are only separated via a clear sheet of glass. The best part is all exhibits are of "toddler" height so young children can easily explore and view the collections on their own. My only feedback would be if there is way to make the place cooler and less humid without affecting the animals. This is a great reptile zoo and highly recommended and lets all support a well-run local Canadian business!

This place ia great and lots of fun for little ones. Was here on a school trip with about 25 little kids. Our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. Kids were excited the whole time. After a presentation with live animals shown and touched we saw a lot of reptiles in their mini zoo. Would recommend for half-day school trip, but it may be very short if going there alone or small group. They alao have a very big store for all those needy reptile owners.

An absolute hit with our kids! I was really impressed by the sheer volume of creatures to see, and there were so many interesting things inside to do as well. From the play area, to the largest snake every recorded cutout on the floor, feeding time viewings and interactive show, it was a great experience for our family. The staff were wonderful as well! We were able to go around again, they stopped us during the walkthrough to tell us about a feeding time that was starting and upcoming show in the theatre. Not to mention, the gift shop had a wonderful variety of items too! We will definitely be visiting again.

My kids loved this place. It has a good number of reptiles from as small as tiny frogs to huge crocodiles. The information boards were helpful. The staff was super nice. They coat hanger was really helpful. The show was great. Crocodile feeding was absolutely fun.

Everything about this place is great! I love how the zoo is set up and they also have a store at the end. Plenty of options to have a closer experience with the reptiles. Reptile shows are often and as well as feedings. Excellent way to run a zoo, all animals look happy. There are plenty of spots to sit and also a mini playground in the middle of the zoo.

Our daughter, a reptile enthusiast, loved this place. She spent all afternoon there...until closing time. A bit pricey, but they have a lot of creatures to take care of, from the small lizards to full-grown alligators and huge snakes. Options to watch feeding and handle reptiles. Good for a wide range of ages.

Really neat reptile zoo with great shows, enthusiastic staff, and great exhibits. Fun for the kids and after for parents. try to steer kids away from the gift shop because it is FULL of stuffed animals that they will beg for. There are also a lot of birthday party options.

Tldr: crazy stuff! Definitely recommend! So I thought this is going to be those creepy places where the staff are weird and the whole place smells fishy (literally) and there is going to be cages everywhere. I was so wrong. This place is amazing, staffs are really kind and you got a chance to pet some huge pythons... And there several gigantic allgegator in house....which I didn't expect...in Vaughan! Anyway, education aspects wise, all the staffs are pretty knowledgeable. Don't miss the theatre, they will bring out some big pythons/Gecko and stuff to talk about it.

Really cool place just in general. Fair admission prices. Maybe a loyalty program would be better for reoccurring visitors?? The reptile zoo is great, lots to see and ask about. Only negative I would say is the prices on souvenirs is REALLY EXPENSIVE, like I dont even think anyone is paying attention marking the prices. My son wanted a little stuffed snake thing and it was $35 while others were prices differently. Some staff is knowledgable, great place to pick up frozen feeder rats/mice and live crickets. They do have a loyalty program for this as well! So that's amazing! The animals that are for adoption are not really taken care of. We seen a ball python, low humidity, not shedding right, had eye caps over his eyes. Not a pretty sight. I wish they would take better care of their store front / adoption animals. I had to explain to my 5 year old how difficult it is to keep up with all the animals when we left the zoo :( to sum it up, great place to take the kids for a couple hours, it's not a huge place but they do say once your in you can stay as long as you would like. The souvenirs are expensive, staff is somewhat knowledgeable, you need to know who to talk to.

I brought my children here today. They had a great time!! So many reptiles and amphibians for them to see! The live show was very educational and cool as well! They also have a nice little gift shop on the way out. 5/5 stars easy!

It was a great time! Warm very warm so wear light clothes. No food here so bring your own! Staff are super nice and the place is really clean. Lol bathroom's are awesome and I know want a waterfall for a sink. The handlers were awesome and if you love taking pictures this place is awesome. The habits are amazing and everything looks like it is very well maintained. Cool gift shop very simple, for you little ones it has a little play area. I would come back but I feel the girls may have been a bit small to really enjoy it. 3+ would be best I think. Worth the money during the week unsure of how busy it is on weekends. Place isn't huge but could easily fit strollers. Awesome Job! We will be back one day!

The top-notch staff are some of the most knowledgeable and welcoming zoo staff I've encountered, and they're always willing to go the extra mile to make your day special. Reptilia has the largest crocodiles (12’ and 14’ Nile crocs) and the largest venomous snake - their 14’ king cobra - in Canada, as well as a variety of snakes, lizards, turtles, spiders, and scorpions!

Let's face it - reptiles are boring. Most of them stay still for most of the day. What is great about this zoo is the staff. Bring your curious kids here or a whole class for a feild trip. But without a treasure hunt or other presentation going on, reptiles are a snooze for older kids and adults.

It's a small building, but an excellent experience for the price. Some "zoos" you go to are boring because the animals just lay there and don't move. Here, the majority of the creatures were quite active and fun to watch. Also, there are shows every hour, where they will bring out 3 animals (different every time), tell you about them, and let you touch them. We stayed for over 3 hours just so we could watch 3 of these shows. If you like snakes and lizards, check this place out.

Where fun and education meet. Wonderful place for young ones to visit, celebrate birthdays, and camp during the summer. We've done all three and were never disappointed. The camp is fun, well organized, and also gives good lunch options. The staff is very engaging and kids are never bored. The birthday party a couple of years ago was also success, and all friends were talking about it for long time.

One of the best educational yet fun facilities in GTA for kids. Our daughter was invited to a birthday party and that was her first time up close with reptilians and she had a blast. Well organised and very engaging for kids of almost every age. We will be back on our own.

Got tickets for the family off of Groupon and just had to pay tax which wasnt so bad. So many animals and informative shows! Really humid in there so i suggest wearing something light so you dont sweat your face off. We had a great time overall.

HELLO EVERYONE I am the Plumber that Reptilia Zoo called in twice to do EMERGENCY service work at there location when they were in need of plumbing work done for the Guest bathrooms and leaking water issues in the back of the unit for the Reptiles, way back in December 2018 in the middle of a snow storm and again in february for a bigger plumbing issues! The "owner"or President as the employees call him Has not paid (June 20 2019) my company for the work that was done, I feel he is very unfair and uses his employees to give every excuse he can to not pay his bills. (CONTRACTORS BEWARE we spent more then 5 hours + materials here) I could only Imagine if there was something to happen to you or your child (GOD FORBID) while on a school trip or something at this establishment, It will be the hardest time you will ever have trying to get intouch with anyone to help you in your situation. I have dealt with every Employee in charge here and no one knows how to contact the ower? my office has spent amounts of times calling and i have been in there trying to get paid or work out some type of deal which has now brought me to this negitive post. PLEASE DONT ALLOW YOURSELF OR CHILD ESPECIALLY ON A SCHOOL FIELD TRIP TO BE IN MY SITUATION!! YOU WILL NOT BE IN GOOD HANDS HERE. I JUST WANT TO EDUCATE EVERYONE ABOUT THE TYPE OF PEOPLE AND PLACE THIS IS!!! My 4 year old daughter loves this place! While the actual selection of critters doesnt change too much - over the past 2 years we've been there plenty of times(yearly pass was definitely worth it) and very often find something new and interesting to look at, especially with tours, shows and feedings happening every few hours.The staff is always very friendly and newly renovated playground is great(when it's not too crowded).

Good indoor zoo. A bit on smaller side but very friendly staff. I was asked by 4 different staff about whether I had any questions. I had chance to touch different reptiles including snake. Please schedule your visit on feeding day. My son loved crocodile feeding and trainer explained the process and gave kids ample chance to view feeding. My son already asked me when we can go back there again.

A lot of fun for little ones. The displays are almost all lower down, with glass starting just about a foot off the floor, so even toddlers can see in. There are lots of animals, and the staff do regular tours - taking some of the animals out, allowing kids to pet them, answering questions, etc. We've never found it crowded, but I imagine it could be a bit nuts during school field trips or birthday parties.

Our kids love Reptilia. Their kids camp is a great way to give your children exposure to reptiles they wouldn't normally have encountered in nature. My kids look forward to summer camp, winter break camp and March Break camp each year!

Went to visit Reptilia on May 20th with my 6 year old niece. There is a separate area for exhibits and another area for party rooms. While there are many exhibits of snakes, turtles, lizards, alligators, croodiles, etc. -- the reptiles were, of course, still and quiet. Nonetheless, most kids get a kick of out if as this probably seeing these creatures live for the very first time. Perhaps the highlight of the trip was: (a) watching the keepers feeding the alligators; and (b) holding a baby alligator while posing for a picture. On your way out, there are plenty of merchandise to browse. Overall, my niece had a good time.

My two boys love coming here! The alligators and crocodiles are worth the price of admission alone. Their aquariums are very spacious and we got to see them cruising around and swimming, which was a real treat. There's a great assortment of snakes, lizards, and turtles too. The place is great for young kids, as everything is behind glass and there's a lot to look at. You can also watch regularly scheduled animal feedings, and interactive shows in the theatre. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and always willing to stop and offer information or answer questions.

For his birthday, my son was given a leopard gecko. I went to Reptilia thinking it was the best place to get the equipment we needed. Everything was overpriced, the staff talked my out of buying some necessities in order to have me by unneeded equipment, and after learning more about my son's reptile on my own, I had to go out and buy the actual necessities. I should have done my research first, granted, but I thought a place like Reptilia would have been part of that research. On top of all that, most of all the equipment I purchased was found at another pet store closer to home at about 75% of the cost of buying it at Reptilia. Not going back, ever.

The area is small and compact, not as fulfilling as I thought it would be. It was quite sad seeing the state of the reptiles in these tiny compact spaces when they should have more space to roam and live out their lives. The reptiles are also sedated which is painful to see in their behaviour. They have 'feeding time' in which you can see snakes devour live animals; I understand its nature but, it was unbelievably difficult to walk passed the sight of this... and parents were standing around with their children watching and pointing, so entertained. Almost made me sick. Will never go back.

Great place for kids and adults. Quite an impressive collection of reptiles. They have scheduled feedings but we didn't get to see it because the Python they were trying to feed appeared not to be hungry hehe. There's a little playground inside for kids to burn off a bit of energy. Staff also carry around reptiles so that you get a chance to pet them.

Interesting visit to Reptilia, Vaughan. Easy to access. Checks-in in a bit confused, but ultimately successful. Good gift shop. Resident reptiles are not wild-caught, but either rescues, born resident, or otherwise unable to be released to the wild. Good variety and appear to be well-cared for. Good learning opportunity for school children.

Good for a trip out with younger children or youth that like reptiles and want to learn more. Not a long adventure, I have been twice now leading day outings with camps, and both times the kids have always been ready to go within a few hours a most. Get a staff to help your group outing and the adventure will be much better than it is without one.

Just came back from a fantastic birthday party for a four year old. Big party room for one hour, table cloths, cups, utensils and plates, lots of help with set up & clean up, and then a 30 minute show that kept a dozen+ kids' attention. Wisely ordered pizza through Reptilia which meant they kept it warm and they gave us fountain drinks (including water). Should have also ordered the nut free cake... Then all the friends got to marvel at the animals in the exhibits and run around the little indoor playground. A fun party that the parents enjoyed and could relax at! 5 star + experience.

Great place for toddlers and young children. Clean. For small children, you can make it a 3 hour stay (snack time for the kids, free shows and animal feeding). For older kids, max 45 minutes. Considering that, it's quite pricey for a family of 4. There are no snack areas or a cafe. Just vending machines, so come prepared. Otherwise, it was a good afternoon spent. Good family outing.

Here you will see varity of snake species , few spiders , frogs , turtles etc. Crocodile here is huge and a must watch . You have to book a time slot . If you forgot to book then , it can been done over the counter but you might have to wait , so please book it in advance.Not so far from mississauga and they have free parking too. It will take an 1 hr minimum upto 2 hrs per tour. Few things like theatres , animal feed is closed due to covid. They take all the good measures to make is place safe for visitors. Hands down one of the best zoos I've ever visited. I could really tell how much the staff cared (for both guests and the animals) and they did a great job explaining the animal's lifestyles and telling me facts about them. They've done a really good job with Covid precautions, during my visit, everyone was over 6 feet apart and wearing masks properly. The exhibits were laid out wonderfully and it was really cool to see the animals during their feeding time. I can't wait to come back!

I used their dorm service for my pet iguana, when I dropped her everything seemed to be good and I expected they knew what they were doing. After 3 weeks when I picked her up she had bruises all over her nose, mouth, hand. She didn’t eat or drink for a while after. They did keep logs of feeding which I did like. I would love to give these guys 5 stars but I can’t after seeing my pet.

I think it’s a decent place to visit once or maybe twice but because of its small size and same layout basically it is not something to visit often. Which is unfortunate as the idea is great. Great experience seeing all the reptiles, amphibians, and bugs. We went to the theatre to touch and hold a turtle, a gecko, and a snake. The kids loved it and the adults liked it too. We got to see several feedings and they were pretty exciting. Most of the animals were rescues or born in the zoo. The children's play area was lots of fun for the kids.

You can see many exotic reptiles and learn a lot about their habits and behavior. You can hold some animals and watch them being feed by the staff. A lot of necessary info is available if you want to adopt an animal as an exotic pet. Most of the animals there are actually dropped there by their previous owners as they couldn't take care of them longer. There are four presentations with 3 animals introduced in each. You can touch the animals and ask questions about them. Also there is a gift shop where you can find everything required to set up a place for your pet reptile! All in all, it was a great visit.

Cool little reptile zoo with majority of staff being friendly. It's smaller than one would expect but it's jam packed with awesome exhibits that you won't find anywhere else in Ontario. Got to learn about their adoption program (which is very very cool) by a staff member named Matthew Haluk. He mentioned he also does shows and that the zoo does mobile exhibits. Really neat little place that demonstrates a wide variety of reptiles, exotic arthropods, and really cute little reptile boyes available for adoption. Try to get a look at the feeding scheduled ahead of time and get there quick - the crowds build up fast! Some things to note that there isn't much by means of things to eat at the building. Just eat before hand and you'll be good to go. There's a ton of kids and parents during the weekends, so if that's not your thing then avoid weekends and school holidays. It's a pretty small exhibit, but well worth the trip. It's also humid and warm in the building, so that the reptiles can live happily. If you don't like damp environments or are squeamish about seeing bugs or dead rodents for feeding, maybe consider going elsewhere.

We decided today was the perfect day to visit. When we arrived the sidewalk was covered in snow and salt thrown over top. The bathrooms were clean and the show in the theatre room was great. once we left the show to play in the play area I noticed a lady with a small shovel killing something in the tortoise area located directly beside the play area. The worker was squishing cockroaches. As I stood beside the wooden tree in the play area I noticed the entire tree was crawling with roaches. The car which many children were playing in was also covered in roaches. When mentioning it to the girl at the front she did state some of the reptiles eat roaches but in the kids play area is outrageous

Worth an experience with kids ... my under 6year old really enjoyed spotting and spying the various reptiles. Not too crowded in the pandemic, and the turtle and tortoise touch zones are not open, but you can pet a few animals during the animal show which is hourly. Been here twice now and really do enjoy bringing kids here when I am babysitting. It's a nice little zoo that takes about 2-4 hours to experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The only thing that I dislike when coming here is that it can get pretty crowded. It is a lot less enjoyable when they are booked with multiple large parties of children from schools/camps. It's worth calling or looking up ahead of schedule for when they have their planned feeding schedules and shows.

I have been to Reptilia with both adults and little ones and it is always fun and informative. It's worth the trek from downtown Toronto in my opinion. My favorite exhibit is probably the first monitor you see on entering. The monitor's window is also in a good position to take pics with kids. The place isn't huge and you can go through it in 20 minutes if you're in a rush. That said the exhibits are satisfying and worth the cost of admission. Staff are friendly. I always enjoy Reptilia. They have feedings you can view (I haven't viewed one myself), and a variety of reptiles to see as well as turtles to pet for kids. The gift shop is pretty huge and you can walk away with quite pricy little toys for the kids. Tip 1: I suggest coming closer to closing or on a weekend when there is no school class tour going on. I have been here when there are classes and it gets super crowded. If there's more than one class, exhibits can be tied up for several minutes until the tour moves. Tip 2: I believe they offer discounts for those with different abilities, such as the visually impaired. So call in ahead to inquire.

I brought my 3 girls ages 10 and 16. We had a fabulous time. The staff at reptilia are incredible. They work very hard to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. We paid the extra to have our picture taken with the alligator. This was a highlight for the girls. The photographer was very informed and spent a lot of time talking to the girls. He gave them time to enjoy the experience with the alligator and did not rush us through.. It was the highlight of their day. To my surprise my eldest daughter got the most out of the experience and is now asking if she can volunteer there. It definitely is not a full day experience but the keepers keep it fun and interesting. Take advantage of their prensence they really make the day. I thought I received good value for my money. A great and fun location to learn about and meet reptiles, as small as the location may be, there really is alot to learn and do. One of the best parts aside from the great work done here, is that it's affordable, unlike other zoos it's fair prices and bang for your buck. They also do birthdays with great add-ons. Highly recommended paying a visit to this location and spend sometime learning about the amazing creatures. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and we've yet to have a bad experience after multiple visits. #Protip if you have a Costco membership and are looking to save a few dollars you can purchase tickets online through Costco for less then $11 per person.

Brand new Reptilia in Whitby, ON!! Really fun experience for the whole family! (Unless you have a snake phobia of course). So many different kinds of snakes to learn about and the tanks and enclosures are great sizes and match the animals natural environment. They have 2 Nile crocodiles and 2 alligators as well as different turtles and tortoises. There are 4 shows a day where you can meet and pet some reptiles and there are feedings scheduled to view as well. It's all indoor and quite warm for the comfort of the animals so leave your coats in the car! A wonderful and informed staff led by an avid animal lover makes for a welcoming environment. Not only does their gift shop carry toys and shirts, it also has an amazing variety of reptile and amphibian care equipment for your pet family members! 16 bucks for adults and 11 for kids makes for a great and cost-effective day out! And your kids (and the kids at heart) will love their play ground fully equipped and safe with 2 mazes and a music room! Honestly, check this place out and you wont regret it!

Extensive collection of wild reptiles. More than you would think by the exterior appearance - this place is larger than it looks. I’ve used them multiple times for birthdays - both in the facility using their party rooms and also with an in-home birthday party experience with live reptiles waking around your living room! Yes the kids loved it. While you’re there if you’re lucky or timed it right you can also experience some live feeding demonstrations - always a treat if you can stomach it. Most kids can - it’s the adults that turn away. Highly recommend on a cold or rainy day especially.

I went with my 3 yrs old yday. It’s a indoor zoo. A small building . They have few snakes , couple of alligators ,iguanas and turtles . My kid did enjoy as he loves reptiles . They have feeding sessions, photo session with alligator and cobra , a “pat me” session with few animals . On average you might spend an hour or so . May be a 1 time thing . If you go to the the other zoo’s you might as well cover the snakes but the highlight of this is you can hold an alligator and cobra . Not sure if other places have it .

First time here, enjoyed the variety of reptiles. Had to make reservation and observe social distancing which actually worked out great. No crowding at each exhibit. Was well paced so we could spend little more time at each exhibit. I guess because of the restrictions in place and probably less foot traffic there wasn't much going on or much to do other than walk the path of the exhibit and that was it. we had a good time, enjoyed the space and time allotted to go at our own pace.

This is a fantastic 100% indoors zoo. It's sort of like a giant pet store. Events we saw were: - the feeding of the great Nile crocodile 1000lbs - the feeding of the rattle snake (he was fed a dead rat) - a talk about a snake, we caught the last 1 minute maybe. You can pet the snake and hold it. These talks happen quite often during the day, you can just wait around until they start again. The staff here is phenomenal.

This place was fantastic. We went for March break and even though it was super busy it really didn't feel like it. It's not a super huge facility and you can walk through in about an hour but you can also choose to not exit and see the exhibits more if you like.

Amazing! Second time my 15 month old has been here and was able to touch many if the reptiles. There was a school group when we went however it was not overly busy and 'tour guides' were informative and courteous aswell as ensured the school group of what appeared to be 7/8 year olds were respectful of other patrons. If you want to have a zoo and a retail location at least train your staff to manage both. I brought my little Leopold in today to get crickets for his lizard. I was immediately met by disgruntled employee Adian or Adrian. Listen if you have a problem with the way the management run the place, keep that to yourself. I don't care if you feel like you do everyone's job. We didn't even end up getting our lizard food because we felt like we were an inconvenience. Looks like it might be time for a change of staff.

Very impressed with this place. Reptiles were healthy and active. The place is not huge so we felt safe letting our child explore. Staff are very passionate and educated. I recommend going early when they open. It is a little pricey but to see healthy well taken care of reptiles with great staff I found it very reasonable. We were there for 3 hours.

Visited with friends and three young children (4,3 and 2 years old on a rainy weekday morning). It was easy to find and with good parking right outside. They have an excellent selection of reptiles from tiny snakes and lizards to full sized alligators! There is also a real focus on education and promoting conservation. The centre is quite a bit smaller than I was expecting, with small kids rushing through you can easily see everything in less than an hour. At this point I probably would only have rated it average. But as we came to the end there was a guided tour starting which was really interesting and gave the kids the opportunity to find out more about the animals, ask questions (my 4 year old is a real reptile nerd and always has a lot of questions), see the animals being fed, and even touch some of them. This definitely improved the visit for us. There are also theatre talks and feedings throughout the day.

Amazing Place. The people who work they're make it worth every penny to go. Took my almost 9 year old daughter and she loved it. We got to see a snake get fed, and an alligator. They also have a theatre that they did a show with different reptiles every 2 hours or so and you got to learn, feel and touch them. What impressed me most was when there was a big crowd to watch the snake get fed they split it up by feeding the alligators a little snake for people to watch too.

you have to constantly watch out for small children that parents let run wild, If you are not always looking at the ground, chances are you will knock a kid over. Also wanted to watch a reptile show and had kids from the reptile camp kick me in the back, over and over again, as the camp employees just sat their and didn't stop them. other then that the place is good, but I wont be going back because of my experience, their should be some rules for that kind of stuff, because Its dangerous I almost toppled over 15 different kids in the span of half an hour.

This is the worst place to go. My children and several other children cried for and hour and couldn't sleep at night because of the performance the reptilia held. In front of kids, they fed a goat that was alive, to a python. They watched as the goat got swallowed whole. I recommend Toronto Zoo or Lion Safari.

Just spent the day there with my 6 year old and 18 month old. This is an amazing zoo and is geared towards family. All on one level so you can take a stroller around with no issues. Animals are very active and in excellent health. Lots of information about the animals in the exhibits. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The shows that are put on are very interactive and informative, great for kids! Despite its modest size there is plenty of room and at no point did it feel cramped. We look forward to going back.

I LOVED THIS PLACE. The admission price was cheap but it was reasonable because Reptilia is not a large place. There is a wide variety of all reptiles. These animals are healthy and active opposed to the anorexic ones you see at the zoo. I believe that a staff has to be good in order for people to enjoy the place. I believe that Reptilia has the BEST staff. Since i was small I was a total animal lover, and i told one of the staff ladies about how i was able to touch a python in grade 1 and i would love to do it again, and she gave me a personal free of cost tour in which i was able to touch a python once again. My dream came true and i cannot forget this day. For such a little cost, the staff, animals, and experience was unforgettable.

Fantastic place to go! The staff are helpful and wonderful and full of education! The feedings are terrific to watch. I watched a python eat a goat (NOT ALIVE) and it was just amazing how far it's mouth could stretch. The crowd of people young and old were just astonished at the rare sight, and the kids got really excited too. They even have a shop at the end of the tour to start your own reptile collection! One of my favourite places to visit in the GTA by far.

My daughter and I visited Reptilia on a Sunday morning. Staff are friendly, decent price for admission and the animals looked well taken care of. Over all we had a good time. My only complaint would be that the place is small, we finished seeing everything after an hour and half. This including the 30 minute meet the keeper show at the end.

Yes the museum itself is very small but whar makes it worth it is the shows. When we go we check the show times to make sure at least we can catch 2. We watch the first one, at least 30 min, there we can learn about the animals and also touch them and take pictures. Then we go to the museum and then catch the next show. We also get to watch feedings in between so total we stay at least 2 hours and more if we want to. My daughter is having her birthday party there as all the kids think is so cool that they get to handle the snakes. Love it!

Reptilia was a very cool experience for the kids. Even the shy ones manage to get out of their comfort zone. This was also thanks to some really great staff who knew how to handle both the kids and the animals.

I went with my son's daycare, and the kids had a blast. Other than looking at the animals, there isn't much to do for preschoolers. It takes 10 minutes to walk through the entire place. The gift shop is over priced, and it was overly crowded

Well worth the money. Staff is very helpful and friendly. A nice variety of reptiles to check out, and the animals look very well cared for. They even have ball pythons that are up for adoption at a very reasonable price. I would go again, and would consider this a good choice for a child's birthday party

Great mini reptile Zoo. Educational and interesting all rolled into a nice location. Will return with family at a later date. When you plan your visit don't forget to attend one of the shows or the feedings. Check the schedule and see which one you are more interested in seeing.

My son went to camp here in the summer (2018). It wasn't cheap and it was pretty disappointing. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because my son enjoyed it. The first day there, there was only one staff member with all the kids. I asked about the ratio they usually have and they said 2/3 counselors but one hadn't shown up yet. We are talking 45 minutes after we could drop kids off. Not a great start to my confidence in leaving my child with them. Next, the TV was on at drop off and pick up time. If I wanted TV as my child care, I could so that myself and save a lot of money. It is lazy and unprofessional to have it on at a camp. During the week, my son came home and told me all about a movie they watched. Again - not what I am paying for! To make it even worse, they decided that it was appropriate to show a PG-13 movie to my 5 year old. I wasn't happy and it made me question if the owners of Reptilia had any idea what these camp counselors were doing during the day. Because they certainly ruined their reputation in my mind. Admittedly I'm a teacher and I have high expectations that programs are planned well and thought out. Especially for the money being paid. So disappointing over all. Did my son enjoy it though? Yes.

Enjoyed the shows and feeding of reptiles. Would suggest checking the schedule of events they have planned for the day before hand. There is a mini play area for kids the middle of the exhibit. This place isn't huge, spent about 2 hours there.

It was a fun experience especially for my 3 year old son. He saw a lot of reptiles from snakes to chameleons to crocodiles. There was also an educational session on the reptiles and a reptile show. It is good to hangout with family and worth few hours visit. Location is also easily accessible and a must visit place for everyone travelling or residing in toronto.

This place is amazing. They education value in it alone is worth the travel. Making people aware of reptiles and their needs is great! Most of their reptiles are rescues from people who abandoned or neglected their animals. Warning they do feedings, they can be graphic but part of the learning. My son loves this place. As do I.

Had a wonderful experience here with my friends. I like how the animals are well taken care of and even though the exhibit felt short, I appreciate the facts that are up on the wall about each reptile. At the gift shop there are also lizards for adoption which I thought was really cool.

Paid $10 and got a backstage tour. My son got to go intside the tortoise encloser and feed all of them. He also got to touch a snake, hold a lizard and another turtle. Definitely worth the $10! Other than that, staff are very knowledgeable and love to answer questions

Don’t understand all the reviews below. You’re paying $19 after tax for an attraction you can finish viewing everything within less than 20 mins and speed walk through the entire place within 5 mins. Live shows involve a trainer holding onto a mini sized gecko and talking on and on for half an hour. Enclosures for giant reptiles seem to be too small for their enjoyment. A waste of time and money to be here. Because attraction is small, ceilings are Low, voices echo through really loudly and it gets to your head with the screaming of kids. Variety of reptiles you see are so little, interaction is so limited and stale (ALL in same glass box, no change, bad lighting) you are better off watching documentaries for reptiles to educate yourself/your kids instead. Do not recommend you to waste your time or money here.

We traveled from Hamilton to celebrate our daughters 8th birthday. The reptile zoo is nice and large and all the reptiles have plenty of space. However it isn't the cleanest facility. The windows of tanks looked really dirty. The children's playground was extremely dirty and definitely needed some repairs. Overall it's worth a visit but probably wont be going back again.

This was a great place to come on the weekend with my toddler. We went a few weeks ago around 3pm and it wasn't too busy. My toddler had a great time but started to get bored by the end. We had high hopes! Unfortunately this place was very quickly put together inside of an old discount store that use to exist. The habitats were cheaply constructed.. There was lots of empty space that didn't occupy anything. The staff were very unhelpful and the merchandise was very very very overpriced. Will not return.

Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Plenty of animals to look at and great hourly shows with the keepers. The place itself is not very big. Keepers are really the strength of Reptilia, if there was more interactive experience included in the admission in the hallway with keepers (not tablets, as they do in some other plaves, but humans and not as as an add-on to ticket), we'd be more inclined to visit sooner than once a year.

We booked the After Hours private tour and we had 2 adults and 3 children (4 and under). This was 150% worth every penny! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I loved having the entire place to ourselves, especially during Covid. But, being able to have our children safely run around was also a huge plus.

I put my 5 year old son in reptilia summer camp this past summer and he loved it. He actually loved it so much hat he cried the first week of back to school. He would come home so excited to tell us his day every time he was there. He's already counting down the days until march break Camp at reptilia! We also had my son's 6th birthday there recently and the staff is one of a kind!!! Not only did the kids love the party, but the parents were so impressed!

This is a nice facility, although when I took the kids many of the reptiles were in the cage but whatever else the kids could touch or pet they really enjoyed! They found the alligators and tortoise most interesting !
