REVIEWS OF Parc Safari IN Argentia

Jon

Better than expected. Even in the rain. The feline tunnel was great!

Jed Rankin

Great place for all ages. Bring carrots!

Elie-Chakib Abou-Chacra

Nice safari experience. Overall good activities for Children in this Covid time we All staff had mask and were super friendly despite high temperatures. Price are ok. Water park was open for the kid section only but was every clean. I recommend Sorry wrong picture

Omar Chioua

The drive through zoo was just ok, lots of cars standing everywhere, almost no one respects the "keep right for stopping and take the left to keep moving"

Ari K

Great park with many activities for the whole family. We went for the first time and it was a lot of fun. I think it is amazing how you have so many activities in the same place and also they have tables for picnic if you want to sit and enjoy a barbecue or meal with your family. The animals are in good condition. We didn't try the water park, but maybe for a next visit. We went to the Adventure Safari, but many animals were hiding because of the sun and the ones that came close to the car didn't want to eat the food you buy at the entrance (they must be tired of it hahah), so my advice is for you to take lettuce, green leaves (don't give them carrots, they get sick). The lions and tiger were active. We also went to the playground with bouncy castles (it was kind empty, cause people were enjoying more the water park). I didn't give 5 stars, because we spent 1:30h just at the entrance, there was a huge line of cars and it was not organized (They should have a line just for people already with tickets, cause I could see families buying them from the car). So more organization at the entrance would be great, but in general great place for the family!

I love the driving around part, but the size of the enclosures of the animals are truly depressing. There are so many lions in such confined space, and with glass all around they have no escape from all those people grouping around them and knocking on the glass. This is not a good habitat for them. Same for the bears and multiple other poor animals. This place is made to cater to people who want to see the animals with absolutely no consideration for the well being of the latter. I had god memories as a kid but going back as an adult, after what I witnessed, I decided never to fund the miserable living conditions of those animals ever again.

Ilana Meerovich

Very expensive , doesn't worth the money.

Jane Doe

Loved this place this summer. It was sad to see some of the animals suffering because of the high temperatures though and I would've expected for the park to be closed on days like that, but they were open. Beautiful animals and nice pools for the kids too.

Dana Nunez

Great Place to visit. It wasn't too far from the Canadian border which was nice. The young lady we met at the ticket booth was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure to meet, and the park was clean and orderly. I've never been …

David Tanya Brown

Was hugely disappointed with this place. It really looks run down. The animal enclosures are really small. The green algae in all the water holes was awful. The bird exhibit was just horrible, the birds look super stressed. The water park wasn’t open. I don’t recommend this place at all; over priced for what it is.

Girish Acharya

Excellent Family Venue for which you require a Car to go to. I love the presentations of some of the animals like the Lion venue which have an upclose and personal feel under the transparent tunnel..Food not so great but they allow you to bring your own if you like and picnic tables placed on the grass near parking lot

Olga Osadcha

Parc Safari one of the best place to spend all day with your family. Its definitely worth to buy a season pass. Food is Okay there, but park Safari allows to bring own food plus they have different areas for picnic. I would definitely recommend this place.

Getachew

Excellent place for family

Barry L

Great place for the family, nice zoo, bouncy castle play area, and takes about a full day to see everything

Erik Voghell

Great place, very clean, Disney-level quality place. All the animals seems quite happy, they do a good job to make them visible to visitors. Don't come with a rental car if you do the car tour as many animals can make dents and bumps to your car...

meysam emily

Very interesting area

bby doll mendez army

So much fun

Ludmila s.

3.5* There were no line ups, Compare to previous reviews as we went in September , not too many people.. The water parc was already closed because of the weather... Overall it was ok.. I didn't like the fact that they are using plastic bottles, tunnels to entertain tbe animals..

Mahsa Abbasi

Very few depressed animals . The price is too high given what it offers...

MJ Madrigal

Not worth the money. Besides being expensive tickets, you also have to consider wear and tear of your car if you don't live close by, money to be spent in gas and food to eat either at the park or on your way to and from, PLUS if you have young children, toddlers or babies, the long trip might be a bit much for you and them, and finally the expectations you have will not be met. The lineup to get in is crazy slow! At first there are only two lanes which then expand to maybe 6, but there is no staff there at the beginning of the expanded part, to tell you that the first two lanes are just for buses or very tall cars, so you might spend extra time waiting on the first two lanes being afraid you might lose your spot for moving into the other lanes. We waited around half an hour regardless of arriving at 10am (when they open) There are very FEW animals (maybe one per enclosure, except for the 4 lions). Hawks are kept in very tiny enclosures with nets forming sort of a triangular shape, you can feel their depression. The waterpark seems to be great, but you can't buy it separately from the park, it's like an add-on, so that's also a big downside. Parc Omega is a far BETTER option and cheaper too. You also have to create a user to buy tickets, what's up with that?

Elie Adaimy

Great place for a family outing. Lots of activities and kids loved it

Andrii Voropai

It is very enjoyable place. I really flabbergasted.

Christian Muzzio

My wife and I had a wonderful time with my cousins who were visiting from Chile and had never been to anything like this. It was also my son Carter's first time seeing any wild animals up close (20 month old). The park is amazing and the people great! Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Nicole Zheng

It’s a great place for children. We spent a great day here. I saw on the park’s website that it’s not allowed anymore to feed the animals carrots, but I saw some people still gave camels carrots...

David Demers

This a great destination for families. The many animals are adorable, some for everyone's taste. Kids really enjoy feeding them in all 3 places for this purpose. Good times relaxing at the park. The family restaurant closed to soon at 5 pm. We would have enjoyed a nice meal at the park to finish off the the day.

Flavio Das Chagas Dias

It is a very big park, food pricing is reasonable, we waited an hour to get to the entrance gates.

Andrew Krebbs

I had an amazing time. LOVED it!

Winnie Izzard

Lots of fun loved the water park and the ice cream there had a great time

Amanda Mooney

Animals were cool however water park was lacking.

Howard Lima

Nice park to go woth you family, eapecially with kids to show them beautiful animals. You can go with you car and feed some animals. There is another section where you can find lions, bears, monkeys too. Besides, there is a three water parks that you can enjoy with your family!

Zenahir Hernández

Tuango has promoted a big sale for a 4 or 5 family members but when you arrived to Safari Park they explained that the promotion it's only from Monday to Thursday and they asked us to pay the difference ...it means about 40CA$ more!!. The information that you printed from tuango page ITS NOT CLEAR AT ALL!. Park Safari need to clarify that situation with his partner!

K Kp

Beware. The information on the website is not transparent. They say that things are opened what they fail to mention is that they have quotas of the amount of people they let in. You pay your entrance which is $35 plus txt to get in and all you can do is do the safari tour. That is it. All playgrounds are closed, rides are closed all but ONE restaurant is open and the water park has a quotas. We went there today, waited to get in, no one told us we couldn’t get water park tickets until we waited in another line for 40 to be told there were none. This was at 12... we arrived at the park at 10:30 waited until 11 to get into the park. Did the safari tour, 30 min than waited in line for 40 mins to buy the water park tickets only to be told they were sold out. It was a colossal waste of time and money. We are a family of 4 and it cost $150 for a car ride. Everyone was complaining... if they can’t handle the current situation or have strict rules they have to follow, than that needs to be made clear on the website before people waste their time and money.

Mark Rattray

great place. went with my 5 year old son and he loved it. plan to spend the day because there is a lot to see

Joy Wattie

A great place to take the children for a trip to see many different animals. They won’t allow you to feed the animals carrots anymore, but you can still feed them other vegetables. There is also a great park and water activities for the children to do as well.

Debra Humphrey

It was a bit too hot, so many animals were hiding in shelter of shade but to the parks compliment, the animals had this opportunity. I was not too impressed with the restaurant - their masks were not covering noses and one, after itching his face, did not wash his hands until pointed out. Manager saw this and did nothing. Once mentioned to the staff though, he was polite and washed his hands and told his buddy to raise his mask over nose... It was also VERY expensive, costing about 257.00 for 4 adults and 2 kids, plus the cost of food for the animals. But the park is well maintained and the animals appeared well, natural/comfortable, and happy.

Noah Sidel

Great day for kids and adults and altogether reasonably priced given what you get and the fact that you can bring your own lunch. The robotic dinosaur exhibit is pretty cool, and the lazy river in the water park is great.

JC Sanchez

Very good Zoo. Plan ahead since new rules are in place.

Sheridon Elliston

Great “safari experience,” for kids and adults alike. They have lots of animals that are in pairs or more. However, there is one single elephant and one rhinoceros that is enclosed in an electric cage that I guess will shock him if he tries to leave. Animals are social and need to be with their own species, it is cruel to have an elephant by him/herself and a rhino by himself. They have a camel that is grossly overweight; since guests are allowed to feed the animals then the staff should more closely monitor what the animals are eating. For the price which included the safari, zoo, water park and amusement park, this place is a good bang for your buck, if you can overlook the animal cruelty.

Rufaidah Chowdhury

I used go to a lot but last year i didn’t go and i went this year it was so bad there were no rides at all just small inflatables it was so boring i was really excited but it was a disappointment if you want to go for rides just go to larone and it was overpriced

Dmitri S

An hour and half bumper to bumper and saw a couple of animals for the most part there’s nothing to see.

Mou Rabee

Good and nice place, the zoo have wide range of animals, they still working on it and expanding it, the water park still under construction and isn't complete, the main pool in service tho... hope they keep working on it in order to expanding it and make it bigger...????????

Amanda Laviolette

There are not animals coming up to your car anymore like the past, have to pay extra for the water park

Matthew West

Took my family on a spur of the moment trip to Parc Safari and absolutely loved it. Price was a bit steep but that didn't not detract from the experience. We cannot wait for our next visit.

Steph Fenimore

I love the fact that you can drive through the Safari and turn on the radio station. It was great being able to learn about animals that are not native to our area. So much to see...The gift shop, is FABULOUS!!! I could spend all day there! Gluten Free options at the restaurants.

Ryan Costello

Got there just as it opened and stayed the whole day and me and my family didn't quite have time to do everything. A day well spent, and more to look forward to for next time.

Ambreen Adnan

My all family love this place We visited today and had alot of fun???????????? We always made Seasons pass to visit all summer and have fun Wonderful place..

karim khalil

Great full day of fun and laughter for a family. Got a great deal for a family of four that included a nights stay at a hotel (Econolodge - which was also awesome). Well worth a visit with a family for a complete fun day (drive thru animal safari. Walk thru animal safari. Water park. Amusement park).

Zhiyong Sun

Has everything to entertain a family with children! The sign could be make more clear so that first time visitors don't waste time walking for long distance to catch shows and live feeding dimensions.

Xiu Wu

Funny place but remember to bring swimming suit and don’t come when it’s super hot for the animals will just shades and leave you alone!

Vlad Solo

It's a great park to spend a day with the kids. There is definitely more to do there than you can in one day, which makes it perfect for having multiple visits through out the summer that are unique. Here are few ideas: you can bring a picnic with you, including BBQ -- charcoal/gas is permitted on the park grounds; you can take a drive in the car around the safari space and see and feed many animals that come to your car as you drive around; you can spend time in the water park -- there are two offering multiple slides, splash pads and pools; you can walk around to see many different animals, ride ponnies or camels. It can get packed, but not to the point when it's crazy.

What a wonderful place to visit with the family! They offer a CAA/AAA discount of 15%. There is a wonderful variety of animals. There is so much to see, consider planning a 2-day visit. The water park was partially closed when we visited, renovations. The gift shop was a lot of fun. They had a wide variety of items - e.g. ebony carvings from Africa, t-shirts, designer mugs, stuffies and more. One thing missing - water fountains to refill water bottles. And vending machines were not working.

Vlad Stamate

My first time here and I like this place. Waiting time was about 15 minutes. The animals live in good conditions.

Lamis Farhat

Loved it

nurturingresilience : Mahaliajamesmarzucco

Great for family and friends outing. A relaxing time to spend with the entire family packed with fun. What is so great there are always specials to grab on Tuango.

Harshad Karmalkar

Great place to spend time with kids. Feeding animals is a rare and amazing experience. Even adults can enjoy themselves and see many animals up and close!

José Pisani

Great Safari Zoo. A lot of animals to see and the tour on car is amazing too. The animals are some friendly touch.

DAVID NGUYEN

Great place for family, children in overall. There are two main parts: one to drive car through and feed animals with vegetable (no carrots), second to walk and see dangerous animals. Drive through car take 45 minutes and close at 3pm. You can travel by zoo truck also. Water park in summer open for kids, bring swimming cloths with you. Ticket is around 70$ for 2 adults and kid. Plenty free parking.

Scott de Koning

We really enjoyed this park. It has a bunch of exotic animals and is a good walk. Highly recommended.

John Alexander

Always have fun with my young kids. It is pricey when you consider that the drive through with the animals is not what it used to be compared to 15+years ago. A lot fewer animals. Sometimes you drive through sections of the park not seeing a single animal. The main park has animals but it's the same old each year.

jessica judd

Even though the weather was full we still had a blast The Lions & wolves were awesome , the Japanese macaques were adorable. Great family fun

Bishoy Abd El Messih

Very nice place. It's cool how u can stay in your car and the animals come to you. Also, very big playgrounds for kids to play in

Catherine Boutin

Love the Safari adventure. Always a great time! Make sure to bring plenty of céleri, you'll have a great laugh!

Jean Dore

Third time I am been here and I was very disappointed. It felt empty. The zebra's are caged now and not free roaming. Same with the giraffe's. But the viewing area for giraffe's was nice. The only animal that socialized was the camels. Very over priced for how much they took away.

Jennifer Tourangeau

It was just ok. The animals' cages/outdoor space were very small. It was a very hot and humid day and many animals did not have a proper cool off space. It was not a happy moment to see them lay off in the scorching heat. The park had issues with the waterpark tickets and couldn't print properly the tickets, which gave us problem when we wanted access. It was packed with people even though they apparently had limited spots. Overall a bad experience that reminded me why I don't like zoos

Veronika Vashchuk

The experience wasn't as impressive as expected. I was disappointed about several missing animals, especially tigers, my favorites. Going on a sunny summer day is a bad idea since there is almost no shade, especially in the zone "Africa" where the most interesting animals are. The pool is small and the waves pool is ridiculously small and not very effective. The slides are good and fun, probably the best part of the the whole place. Finally, the staff is very nice and friendly, especially in the water slides zone.

Alex Leblanc

Nice and clean park. Staff is very nice. Loved it

Sphinxer Zypher

A fun place to enjoy with friends and family.

Liliane Saraya

We had a blast! The safari expedition is amazing. We get so close to the animals. And the new waterpark is awesome and still more to come by next season!

tony e

Love this place. Very family friendly. Highly recommend for all ages

Adam Gordon

Was a very nice day. Not too many people and wasnt too hot

Tamie White

We really had a fabulous time there. Can't wait for the add-ons to be completed. Strongly recommend for a fun family day.

Ola Alanqar

We took our kids ages 11-6 to Parc Safari and it was such a great experience. Not only did they had so much fun watching the different animals, but also the interaction with the camels, giraffes and deers was beyond expression. The car ride among the path was one of a kind! I was privileged to take amazing closeup photos as well. We didn’t hit the water section because of the rain. We spent one full day of fun for all ages.

Jen Therrien

It was a hoooooot day when we went. The animals were all hiding, which is totally understandable. We found solace in the ridiculously adorable deer sanctuary. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express about 40 minutes from the park. They offered a great rate! About $350 got you the room for a night and two days at the park! On the second day it was also crazy hot but we had swim suits so we would cool off and then see something. Cool off. See something. Food was alright. Obviously a bit pricy but we expected that. Not enough water fountains. When feeding the animals, bring fresh, chopped up lettuce, cucumbers and celery. NO CARROTS! They are too sweet and people ruined it by bringing 30lbs bags and making animals sick! Water area was nice. Super strong waterfall felt amazing on this mama's shoulders! Would I go back? For sure! As long as it's not 38°.....

Sparky's Arcade Restorations

We see the ads on tv about a wave pool and tube river on an hourly basis.... only to get there last week and they were all closed, being painted. So the tv ads announcing these attractions are misleading. We actually play a game and yell "liars" at the tv when the commercial comes up. Lol.

Th dricks

It was amazing to have animals walking in between cars and you can actually feed them there is no fear no need to worry about any animal attacking your car or fighting you they are so tame

Mazen Bakhbakhi

Kids had a blast. Their favorite part was feeding the animals.

Rui Pinto

It is always fun to go visit the animals with your car. But the bathrooms needs an upgrade. Other than that I love my visit as always.

Imad Pola

Most of the wild animals are not there and we was there at 5:00 pm

Anton Moses

A very fun variation of the regular zoo ! A lot of close up encounters with many animals... Safari parc offers fun activities for the entire family ! The driving segment is definitely the biggest highlight, but the food is also pretty good ! (If you can, try having lunch at their "L'Explorateur" Restaurant...truly a treat !)

Julien Desrosiers

Amazing!! So many different animals! Remember one thing: bring salad!!! This is what all the animals will chose over the animal food you can buy at the park!!!

César Olivera Susaníbar

Great place to spend with the family and create awesome memories

Bruno Reis Portela

Place is fantastic. Everything was nice. I missed an elephant there and the fact COVID required some special attention with animals and the limitation which we couldn't feed the animals and make them get close the cars was a negative point which I can't put on the place's account. Structuctely the place was perfect and big enough to spend the day. Really recommend it and I hope could get back again one day.

wei song

great destination for families and kids in the summer. the driving through trail for the animals, the water parc, the play ground for the kids, great. all the staff are really nice too.

Aminatou Bah

I loved the Parc Safari, it’s really nice the fact that you can stay on your car do the tour and feed animals and also you can walk to discover more. You can learn about différents species from all continents in the world !

Dan Beau

Disgusting, poor treatment of animals.

M Hemati

SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! You would walk over these huge animals and just wondering how gorgeous they are.

Anne Doiron

Nice activity to do with kids all ages. Less crowded than Granby Zoo and less pricey. Don't feed the animals with carrots as ask from the place.

Thierry Manga

Great service.the team was very respectful and pleasant

Antonia S

Animal drive was great. Only thing when in the store the staff kept following me around. Dont like to shop with people looking at me.

Josianne Latreille-Pare

I have been there a few years ago and it was a great experience. Staff would answer our questions and help us learn alot about the animals

Blessing Morayo

The experience was lovely. About 30mins drive round the pac @10km/hr

Asher Lamil Teitelbaum

Great zoo! We really enjoyed there our day. Great for kids and adults.

Rachel Labbe

Went on St-Jean Baptiste thinking it would be insanely packed but because of the weather, it was perfect. It wasn't too hot so the animals weren't hiding in the shade and sleeping. Love the safari, very interactive and a lot of fun. Enjoyed the deer trail and the little farm with multiple different types of animals such as meerkat and fennec foxes. The reason I give 4 stars is because the water park should be updated and there should be rides for kids and adults, not just bouncy castles which is mainly for children. Went with a group ages 14-21 and would have enjoyed my experience more if there was more for us to do.

John Smith

Call before going since hours are inconsistent and schedule changes are not listed on the website. Many of the games and other activities are out of order. Bouncy castles are dirty. The large slide there's nothing to prevent small children from falling through the side of the stairs. Generally the staff are unhelpful, unmotivated. Park is poorly maintained. Disappointed season pass holder

Max Tardy

This place is amazing! Many animals up close, water park for all ages, camel rides, plays and shows, etc...

Ting Yuan

there are not too much animals. You can feed camel and another animal that i don't know the name. And there is also a water park. It looks good, but we didn't take our bathing suits. So all I can say is, it looks good. But my son like it very much.

Marina Polozenko

This is an amazing zoo, not far from the Canadian/USA border. We decided to spend a couple of ours there on our way to Quebec. I've been to a couple of Safaris before, so compare to them this one was good, but not the best one. We were there in the beginning of summer and there were not so many animals to feed and it seemed like only camels were interested in food. Zoo itself is great. Lots of animals. There is a small forest with a bunch of deer just walking everywhere so you can enjoy walking with them. The lion area is one of a kind! It's made out of glass, so you can experience lions being very close to you and jumping over you.

danna carolina

Amazing experience, 1000% recommended!!!

Ravi Verma

Best for the kids and a picnic

SOYOUNG LEE

There is drivethrogh Safari and very clean and safe water park~

Yekaterina Kobtseva

Came here to post my negative feedback for the experience at the zoo but saw there is no need for it - others have done it for me! If you notice, Safari failed to address questions, comments and concerns raised by their MULTIPLE customers. I believe nothing can better demonstrate their lack of care and unprofessionalism in business.

Dan Tron

Food was good. Thats about it.Altho resto was def dirty. Ud better off eat outside. The zoo itself was ok, most animal look like they were drying out , waiting for someone to put em out of their misery. Waterpark was basic looking. Went to zoo granby a week after that and the difference was HUGE.

Rick Keene

Very cool and worth the price of admission.

Susana Castellanos

Animals are beautiful and we'll kept. Very clean installations. Food was regular...a bit of more cold drinks selling points would be nice.

Patrick Flowers

Who knew you could visit a real Safari one hour from Montreal! We had a truly unforgettable experience here during our recent visit. The walking parts are great with glass tunnels for the Lion and Tiger habitats that allow you to get up so …

jonathan p-a

Nice fun place for the family, I would of liked to do some activities but due to covid activities were limited and I was not able to reserve a spot for aqua Park. The food at one place was not so good, overall experience was ok. There is a lot of driving to do (50 minutes drive from Montreal to the safari) then major traffic just to get pass the ticket booths which was about 30-50 minutes long then if you chose to do the safari adventure you can spend 40 minutes but it all depends on what time you get to parc safari

Zainab S. Rhazi

Well worth the detour. My kids enjoyed feeding the animals, albeit temperamental. There were wapiti, watusi, zebras, ostriches, camels, and many others. My kids loved the giraffes the most, but those were not on the car circuit. We had to walk to them. The water park is worth the extra fee of you have kids who want to cool off after a visit to see the animals. Bring lettuce and shelled peanuts if you'd rather not buy them.

yashwanth beeravelli

It's okay okay. Not too many animals as expected but enough new animals to know about. This parc is close to USA (New York) border and visitors from both countries can be seen. You can take your own car for the safari or can rent a tall truck with open standing space in the trailer. They charge around $17 CADs extra for this truck. They have a zoo also where visitors can walk and look. A water parc to swim and relax. People can carry some food to feed the animals while doing the safari. You can carry your Barbeque, food, drinks and can have some fun. Carry a good camera to capture the exciting moments when animals come close.

Alex Glukhov

Terrible experience. Was told over the phone that the ticket booth closes at 3pm and the site closes at 4:30pm so I was advised by staff to buy tickets online. We were at the parc at 3:05pm and were denied entry after driving for over 1.5 hours to get here, not to mention spending over $200 for tickets!!! Customer service woman was lying and condescending over the phone. What a joke. She said she told me that the gate closes at 3pm which is a LIE! Do not give your money to these jokers. There’s better zoos around.

Carol Mella

Love this park, always a blast. Lot more camels than usual.

brendan durkan

All the animals were sad and hot and miserable...I loved it LMAO

Elena Siniavsky

Not the place I wish to visit again. Was there twice , first time in 2009 and now. Same emotions. Sad place, poor animals locked in cages... There are a lot of other zoos in QC province I can recommend to visit, but not this one...

Mitesh Avlani

Ok reached there at 0915 Am there was line already of 50 some cars, doors open at 1000 Am, very few animals looks like they put camels everywhere and made it look like lot of animals ok would not recommend this place very expensive US $ 60 for 2, also there is construction going in water park and only 2 rides are open.

Susana Castellanos

Animals are beautiful and we'll kept. Very clean installations. Food was regular...a bit of more cold drinks selling points would be nice.

Mor e

More then 30 minutes at the traffic just to enter, and we are not in yet. They didn't open all posts. Not a good way to start the season Apparently nothing change in the last 3 years....

Alioune Ba

Entertaining and educating. Recommended for family and young children. The safari experience is very exciting for kids. You can tune the zoo radio and have a guidance. Looks like only in french. I don't remenber any guidance in english. There are some pools and in the summer It's a pleasant family refreshing excursion.

Jemps Desrosiers

Nice place to visit and family friendly.

Phil Dufour

We enjoyed Parc Safari because it has a greater diversity of animals than at other places we've visited. The swimming area was also nice and refreshing.

Imran Kanji

Awesome Kids loved it Definitely take them again Don't forget to take celery/lettuce

Sam

Great place for the family. Shows are very short. Each show is about 5 min, they should have made more effort to make it better. I visited parc safari 6 years ago. And I can see that nothing has changed from that time, except few small changes. It is good experience over all. But I wish to make majored changes or add more animals that will attract me to think of visiting again in near future. All places are clean and nice. All my family enjoyed the day there.

William Prioriello

After touching any animals WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY. Hand sanitizer is NOT ENOUGH. You MUST use soap and water. My girlfriend and I both got sick after eating even though we used hand sanitizer.

Gurpinder Dhillon

Good place to enjoy and view nature closely

Jose Sena

Good place for contact with animal for all family and plus

Marcelo Medeiros dos Santos

Awesome!

Annalyz Fraser

Sadly, we didn't have a great experience, or perhaps we had high expectations based on some friends' recommendations. The entrance kiosks were short staffed, which meant we had over 40 mins of queueing in the car to get in (arrived at 11:30, so not even for the opening time). The food area was also very short staffed (and some kiosks closed) and full of flies (probably something hard to avoid with all the animals). I had 2 hangry kids and the waiting time between the queue to order and waiting for the food was also over 30 mins. Luckily I had some snacks to keep the children semi distracted. I would definitely advice bringing your picnic. There was only 1 water feature working (for which we received $5 off per person as compensation). You can see there is a lot of construction going on theoughout the park with many more features coming, which will hopefully be very nice. The animals were all nice and we all enjoyed those areas and the drive-through safari. Definitely not a 2-day activity at the moment, but a nice day out.

Despite construction works, park is well organized

Eric Larocque

Amazing! We came all the way from Edmonton to visit here and we were not disappointed! Better than any zoo we've been too here in the west. The park is large enough to spend a whole day, even 2 if you really take your time (we came with a family of 5). The staff were friendly and helpful wherever we went. Tons of things to see and do for kids of all ages. I do highly recommend bringing your own picnic as you can surely expect high prices and low quality food.

Fedor Ouspenski

Nice place, but people must be far away from animals, can not feed giraffes anymore.

Stephanie Whipple-Chown

The staff was really friendly and quite helpful. We absolutely loved the animals! We will be coming back :-)

Valerie Charbonneau

I have a long history with park safari. I worked there many years ago and my parents live in the neighborhood. I've always found it to be an enjoyable place. Our last experience wasn't the most positive. We visited in October and we were very disappointed that we had to pay full price only to hear that the safari experience (which is the best reason to visit here) was not open to cars and that we would have to pay 10 dollars extra per person if we wanted to visit in their safari truck... ??? We were told this after we paid of course. On top of this, there were no restaurants open. There was one mediocre food truck available. Do not open if you cannot offer guests a full experience.

Kapil Dhingra

The Safari was amazing, nothing to not like about it. Only book you tickets for Safari!!! The disappointing thing was the water park. I paid $8 for that, was even more hurting. There was nothing to enjoy in that park.

Alexandra A

I wouldn’t give a single star if I could. We arrived at the park and paid around 60-70 bucks for two adults and left within the same hour after the safari car ride. Two camels proceeded to chew and rip off our car antenna as well as the parking back camera including the protector of the camera. When they started chewing on the windshield wiper we managed to scare them away. They were blocking the car so we couldn’t exactly drive off. Once they walked off, I ran out of the car to pick up the pieces from the ground and called the park to get help. They seemed very uninterested and the only person who was concerned was a security guard. We have seen plenty of staff but they were very hostile about the situation and we only got apologies from security. They took our statement and gave us an email address for customer service. They refused to refund us so we left without continuing our visit. This was a brand new car we bought a few weeks ago. It’s safe to say I’m not visiting this park anymore and do not recommend it. Apparently this happens a few times every season enough times to desensitize them. Watching animal planet at home next time.

Johnson Huang

My children 6 and 3 have good time visiting the zoo.

marilyn madic

It was my first time at parc safari. It was a disappointment... Really not like in the commercial.. barely any animal, I feed a deer and a camel. It cost so much for so little. Had a better time at Granby zoo

Yannick Gagné

Our first time here, we loved it. Weather was cloudy so we almost had the place to ourselves. Very nice and very easy to see the animals. Very recommended!

Jon Szeto

Definitely one of the highlight of my Montreal trip (ok it's not in Montreal but hey it's only an hour drive), the car safari was so much fun, feeding the animals was the best part. The viewing tunnel was also fascinating, especially when the white lions were lying on top of the tunnel. It impressed me how active and happy the animals here seem, comparing to some other zoos we have visited. On our way out we coincidentally ran into the owner of the place, Jean-Pierre was a very nice person, asked us about our experience and we talked a lot. He certainly cares about this place and its visitors.

Luke Fronkenshtein

Very expensive for what you get compared to most zoos/wildlife parks around the world. The parc buildings/fences/water parc is very old and worn out, but the plastic signs are new! I imagine 10-15 years ago this might have been an enjoyable place, but today it is in a state of disrepair, the animals look sad and bored, the 'safari' drive-through is a joke, more like driving along a go kart track in a field looking at/feeding deer - go to parc Omega to experience a similar idea, but 10 times the scale. For me, a drive through safari means literally driving through animal enclosures; lions, tigers, bears, monkeys, apes etc, where they are eating your mirrors and pulling any loose parts of cars, this is like driving through a normal park. As for the zoo itself, it's pretty small, with large walks between the enclosures, luckily the paths are decorated with bronze statues to keep you interested/distracted. Hint: they're not interesting. The whole place seemed more like an experiment in seeing if people are fed enough sugary drinks and greasy food as they wander around bashing the cages/glass of each animal to get some sort of reaction out of the tired animals, with not one person being told "please don't do that". Speaking of staff, most of them are teenagers, with not a lot of training/interest in dealing with misbehaving people - where are the adults?! Apparently the parc is involved with some sort of captivity breeding program, but I saw no such signage/literature, only bright signs to the next ice creamery. Even the information plaques for the animals were missing in some parts, leaving people to guess what they were seeing - teach people! It's important! The entire water park area was closed to the public also, with no forewarning when buying tickets at full price (supposed to include the water park), as well as looking and smelling like a stagnant swamp - hardly enticing or well-kept. Dotted along the paths are various gift shops, cafes, ice cream huts etc, but 90% all of them are closed and look like they would never open again, just rotting away... On a positive note, the Feline tunnels were good, but a bit of a 'one hit wonder', their star attraction, but the cats all looked bored with their small enclosures, apart from the cheetahs, which seemed to have a nice large area to run in. All in all, not a good place, my partner and I just found it depressing. We will not be returning. As long as the money gets spent legitimately on helping animals, as well as making sure their own animals are looked after, I don't mind paying the full price, but adding more and more brightly coloured 'Disney-style' rides and signs and games and eateries is not what I expect from a zoo whose primary concern should be the welfare of animals.

Nicolas Barillaro

First time experience - I decided to do the Walking around portion which was great! Was able to get Parking near the door. Did all of the activities for the animals , then went to the Aqua Park, the pool side is nice there isn't much water activities.. the WAVE pool is horrible. its a Giant red ball in a circular pool. which is pulled down and creates waves that's all nothing real about it. The Lazy river activity wasn't that great, the lack of water making you stick to the bottom, and the Tunnel towards the end same issue. On another note walking to the other side to get your tube, then walking back on the HOT slabs is horrible we couldn't stay still and couldn't wait for the shade to hit. The pricing of the food is fair, I concluded my visit with the Driving part, most of the animals were in the shade only 1 Camel and a Gazel came by. the rest were asleep or seeking shade. The lack of Animals at Parc Safari make the tour very short. FYI to everyone going I will be going again, and make sure to arrive 30 mins before the gates, That also made it easier. no Traffic.

Genevieve Waterhouse

I realize the numbers are down and many have been vaccinated. But it is still the law that we are to wear masks. I would say 80% were not wearing masks. That is 80% of adults. Most of the people working here are children. Sooooo I guess that is adults taking advantage. If I had known I never would have came here with my children this year.

Nasim Sedaghat

Very fun driving through all the animals and feed them...be careful with the rules but otherwise it's so fun.. The animals are very friendly and they come to you.. there are many of them.. It takes about 1 hour to see all the ones in the driving section and about 2 for the walking section

Michael Salesse

Very nice place to go with kids!

Bobby

Water park is ok. The rest of the park is rundown and porly maintained, overgrown anamal penns, green water. We were quite dissapointed considering the entry fee.

Fani H

Despite having to close a number of exhibits, there were still lots of animals to see. My favourite were the meerkats. I haven't come across them at other zoos/aquariums before.

Jo Isles

This place used to hold a high place in my heart ,but now seeing the animals they have on the tour changes everything. I feel like the parc is kinda run down looking. More activities for kids in the main area of the parc. Do not eat anything from the food service counters....flies everywhere!

IGoByP

Great experience. Well built to see the animals from very close. Nice theme. Keepers know their stuff. Also they are a part of associations and work with other zoos to fight extinction.

Yannick Bessette

Impressed by the closeness. Really cool to do with kids

Tamarra Theodosis

Drove all the way to park safari from Montreal only to find out that there had been a power outage an hour earlier! Jeez! NO WHERE on their site does it indicate that. I had a tuango offer that was expiring today. I was told that I could return during the week, as the offer mentions. Had I not mentioned that I WORK during the week and cannot take a day off work to come here they wouldn't have changed it to the weekend. Plus! I couldn't use the bathroom! A young male staff member joked about squatting..what an idiot! Staff members try to take advantage of the customers and are not very bright.

Ramil de Villa

The variety of animals are getting less and less. The swimming area of the water parks are too small for adults. The access to the toilet from the (picnic) parking area are way too far.

Lee Quinnett

Was cool.. But not too long, not much animals. But overall nice place to go with the family.

Kobe Yeung

Wash room is extremely dirty. It's really hard for a dad with little girl. They definitely need to cleanup the toilet more often. Also they should provide more wash rooms. A park size like that I don't think it's enough in my opinion.

Jonathon Lee

Very worn down and tired outdoor zoo. Visited in late summer 2021 and was very disappointed by the lack of options. Only one restaurant was open for food and the staff was very unhygienic while preparing the food. The water parks were also closed as well as the amusement park. They have lots of neat animals you can't see anywhere else - the only reason we visited with kids.

Olga Ignatova

Like this place

Tdsotm 1973

There is nothing over xl in the shops, staff was arrogant, overall good but not great

Yevgeniy Shcherbakov

Safari, zoo, playgrounds for kids, mini golf, slides, some water attractions, picnic areas all in the same place. I and my family had a lot of fun. While doing the safari ride you can feed the animals. The camels, bison, and ostriches are more willing to be fed. The lions, bears, and monkeys are not part of safari ride as they are kept on the other side of the park. For parents - there are hammocks and big pillows that you can crash on while your kids are on the playground!! Great place to spend your day.

Adriana Z.

Nice place, but now, if you want to feed the animals you have to buy an special food inside the zoo.

Kimoco Artiste

The animals seem very well treated, it was very pleasant and the animators answered our questions nicely. The site is very clean and he lion's den is amazing!

Josiah Raiche

Fun for preschoolers and big kids too. Highlights included the feline tunnels, feeding the gnus on safari, and the water park. Be sure to bring your own lettuce or celery, it's common to feed the animals from your car. On weekends they sometimes have someone selling it at the beginning of the safari. No carrots, they are forbidden for being too sweet. The water park has slides big enough for a grown-up and nervous children to do together. There aren't age limits on anything as far as I could tell so brave little ones can do the big slides.

Daniel Kourjakian

Had a really great time with my 22 month old. The traffic to get in was long even though we showed up before it actually opened. I Don't know why they won't just open earlier . The drive threw safari was great and entertaining but make sure you bring lots of carrots since that's what they all want. The water park was really and had a blast ! We spent 4 hours just playing in the water. Recomandations: Bring your own lunches and drinks since they have lots of pick nick tables. Comfortable shoes . stroller unless you want to rent from there. Bring carrots. Have fun !

Louis Letourneau

I've been taking the kids here for many years. This year was a bit of a disapointment. The lazy river + locker rental had a long lineup with only one booth for clients...for both the river and lockers. You had to walk on asphalt to go get your tube. It does get quite hot. Animals seemed very well and it's a big place for them. Basically ok, but not spectacular.

Tajrif Bashar

Very expensive and not that much to see

Catherine Dupuis

I want to give a 5 star for the coolbox experience. THE STAFF for the cool box and the night and morning show was great. The rest of the rest of the staff was not knowledgeable, rude and not accommodating. ( we were 4 kids ages 9 and 6) one adult in a scooter( with we rented from there). I could go on. There was two girls that were really great and should be praised marieanne and Sarah( life guards) they were great and helped to turn around the situation. Even after contacting the client service after our trip they basically blamed it on being young staff and that nothing was to be done. I really want to give a one star but it would be unfair to the other great staff.

GostyPlayz

Fun for kids. Great time.

Dominic Roussel

Great place to spend the day with family. Especially with kids of all ages. The activities, tours, and facilities are all very accessible. The animal attractions include but are not limited to: elephants, giraffes, rhinoceros, wapiti, monkeys, lions, emu, eagle, zebras, bears, meercats, rabbits, and of course deer. Really though... they have a lot to look at. The park takes more than one day to visit. The water park is vast enough to have loads of fun. Arrive early on the weekends if you want to get certain things done first without a crowd. There are some moments when the parking lot feels like it can go on forever.

Marsha J

Great place to see lovely animals

Carolanne Plourde

The park includes an aquatic park, a maze, and of course a safari where you can drive among the animals and feed them. You can ride on camels and walk among deers, and children can ride ponies. The best part is arguably the lions and tigers, where you can enter a tunnel made of windows where you get to be up close with them. Having an adult lion roar in your face is a very impressive experience!

ayodele ilori

Not a bad experience at all

Iyad Akzam

We had a wonderful day with the kids very nice place

Corey Macdonald

The park is nice however the parking spaces are VERY small and don't allow people to open doors very wide when taking anything out for kids. Even getting the kids out became an issue to not hit the door next to mine. The passages are narrow so its not very stroller friendly. All that being said, the park is nice its just not well designed for medium/larger families.

Kulvinder Kaur

Loved it but it isnt thats adventures

Stoyan Kardzhilov

Usually very nice place but they ruined our stay. Construction everywhere, closed sections, dirty water. Honestly I didn't expected that. I've been there couple of years ago and was so beautiful place but not anymore. And the line to get in....O my... Crazy. We were there 15 min before opening hours and waited for 40 min to get in. We were served from a kid or at least looked like a kid with zero knowledge. Very disappointing

Markk

I don’t know if this could even be considered a zoo. With probably a selection of no more than 12 animal species including Camels, Dromedaries, Antilope, Giraffes, 1 Rhino and 1 juvenile elephant. No lions, tigres, bears, gorillas, hippos, monkeys or any aquatic life. Yet they advertised lions on their website and multiple posters on site. Not to mention all of their areas are named after animals they don’t have example Dolphin Lagoon. We have been to Granby zoo every year for 5 years straight and decided to try something new this year. For 100$ payed for 2 people to see 12 mammal species was a complete rip off. If you’re deciding between Granby and Parc Safari, trust me go to Granby zoo, they have many more animals with informative texts next to each species. Parc Safari seems incredibly cheap.

keyvan kashani

It a little pricy but for one time visit its acceptable. If you want visit the park my suggestion is to go there morning so you can see everywhere an you can also use aqua park.

Saeed Rafiee

Very good quality of visit. Nice water parc. Just we found some kind of skin spot on my body, my family and also our accompaning families bodies. I dont know what was the source, the animals, water or allergy to some grasses there. After 2 weeks the spot is not gone

Arash Khodadadi

A great place to bring young kids and have fun. There are places to picnic also. Lions cage is also amazing.

Michael Arciero

Totally not worth it during COVID safety procedures. The safari adventure is what makes parc safari worth it. You are not allowed to feed the animals. You also have to keep your windows closed. Animals are therefore uninterested by cars and dont move and hide. Didn't see anything. Inside walking part too is just not worth it. They need to upgrade this parc. Hasn't changed in years. Just not worth it anymore. Kids were bored (7 and 10). Just dont go until you can feed the animals. (Also, the administration should put that info on their website before people spend money buying food for the animals.)

Jeanne B. d'Arc

It is always a blast going to Parc Safari. Went with a group of 20 to 35yrs olds and the kid in each one of us came out when we saw the animals.

Tony Loftis

Went with a two-year-old who was both scared and excited to feed the animals. The big cat park is fun. The youngster also had a great time in the water park.

Julien Magnan

Under the COVID era, Parc Safari shutdown a few attractions, like the amusement park and the deer trail. We can't feed/touch any animals. Still worth visiting though, our kid had a great time!

Hannah Giza

I want to give it 5 stars because the animals were very well taken care of and my husband and I had a lot of fun there. I am willing to pay the price we did because it costs a lot of money to run a zoo park and I'm sure the people who work there don't get paid as much as they should. I appreciate all that they do for taking care of the park and the animals. It's a wonderful place to walk around and enjoy being up close and personal with all the creatures there. I loved being able to feed the deer as we walked through their enclosure, that was really neat. The safari was a lot of fun to drive through as well. And seeing a few cheetahs basking in the sun was amazing since I've never experienced seeing one in real life. Also the lion enclosure was awesome as you can walk through a glass tunnel to view them. One male lion was lying on top of the tunnel so we got to take pictures with it and measure our hands against his paws. That was amazing! We also got a kick out of seeing the monkeys and the bears, they were all very entertaining! I appreciate all their hard work for taking well care of all these beautiful creatures. Over all, we loved our experience! :-)

Stygs6

Animals didn't seem very well taken care of.. drive thru was decent, but the lion, tiger and wolf enclosures are disgustingly small... very lazy animals and I assume because of the lack of space that they had, was not very impressed with the experience. Not going back.

Melissa Manangou

My experience with Parc Safari was great except the fact there's covid-19, we couldn't feed nor touch the animals anymore. People don't stay far away from you when it comes to see animals, it's like they forgot to keep distance.

hope 86

Great experience but the expedition not worth it we enjoyed it more with our car since the animals come closer

Mayra Garcia

Bring drinks. Ur food. There are restaurants as well. Bring a Hat for the kids and adults. Umbellas, sun screen. Anything to keep the sun away!!! Stay cool and hydrated!!! Buy the cookies. U can give some to the animals. All animals! I bought 5 boxes. No Carrots please. To sweet and bad for there health.

Carolina Lannes

Make sure to go all the way to the end of the zoo,.to the deer forest. You can feed the deer and they come right up to you. The closest I'll ever feel to snow white!

Chris and Sally Finnson

Pretty dissapointed.... Hardly can be called a safari when most animals are caged. And it was fairly expensive considering a few of the attractions were closed and the reptile section was very sparsely populated. Unfortunately for me as well not all staff were bilingual.

yulemi gonzález

Really nice for the hole family. Wide variety of animals. Clean and adapted to covid conditions

Dany D

Very fun, spent the day there with the family. Got to be up close and personal with the animals and got to feed them too. Due yo it being very hot the animals were mostly in the shade sleeping and relaxing. Got to see some newborn animals running around with their moms, monkey, deers etc. Nice to have a picnic as well but i bought the food instead. There should only be indoor restaurants instead to avoid flys and insects flying around while they prepare your meal and when sitting down to eat etc. Overall was fun and will go back.

Bilal Khalid

Big place lots to see, the water park is great fun for the whole family. Kids enjoyed both the Safari and the water zones.

Trey Andrew

It’s fairly expensive and the animals really don’t seem to be very happy. I’m not saying the habitats for the animals are that bad I’m just saying they should be in the wild not caged up for human enjoyment no matter how nice the cage is (and the cages here aren’t that nice). The staff is nice enough and the water park is ok if you’re a kid or someone who wants to cool off but the water I sent very deep anywhere so swimming doesn’t really work and diving is out of the question.

Guilherme Nicolosi

Amazing experience, specially for the kids. It's not everyday you get to feed a giraffe.

David Bacon

Amazing opportunity to interact with the animals. I recommend bringing your own lettuce rather than buying the animal food - the animals much prefer fresh vegetables over dried kibble. I do not recommend bringing a premium vehicle as there is potential for damage to vehicles from the animals. The water park is average and not worth the added expense, in my opinion.

Jasmin Desnoyers

Cool box cool

space dash

Loved it. The kids had a great time seeing the animals and in the water park

Esther John (Essylicious)

Nice water resort

Kay Tee

Fun place to spend with the family! Big free parking is a plus too! Getting the season pass is worth it! Good place to take a walk and see the animals! When hungry I can have a picnic as well!!!

lyzette mary

U will love it. It worth trying

Kirby Gauthier

While I applaud the concept of seeing animals up close while in your vehicle, Parc Safari pales in comparison to the Granby Zoo. Parc Safari technically has all the features of GZ, but it's clear who invested more in recent years. My advice; fork up the extra $ for Granby.

Euler Alves

Lovely. For your very first visit, it's unforgettable. Definitely, don't skip the Safari on the truck. It goes trough an exclusive path that worth the fair price. Get even more fun buying from them designated vegetables to feed the animals. It's affordable in order to avoid someone could be tempted to bring it from home. Most of the species there, are in danger of extinction. You get more pleasure knowing you are collaborating in some extension.

Yacine Laskri

Amazing experience, especially for the kids, that was the first time my kids see Animals without a barrier they were so happy and so excited... a Safari near town ... the aqua parc is fine and kids can enjoy it if they are not that old or tall !

Jonathan Fernandes

Great experience. Lots of animals. Safari tour was fun. Instructions where not clear though. When you arrive, you have to take the safari tour. But it is not mentioned you can do it later. Make sure you have enough gas. If you have an emergency, you can't take a short cut. After the safari, you park your car and walk around the zoo. Toilet is only available at the entrance. There is no map except at the entrance, make sure you download a copy on your phone. Although, you can't get lost, no worries. You can feed some animals even after the safari tour.

Paul Leung

Was ok, kids loved it. Make sure to buy a bit of those foods for animals for the deer park. The deers are much more well behaved than the ones in Japan Nara parc where they literally want to mob you

Nadia Kinglet

Do not recommend this place, Omega park is much better!

James Hutchinson

It's obviously great to see some wild animals that you normally wouldn't see but very sad to see how closed in they are with such little space! How is it that the monkeys have like three times the space the Lions do!?!

Edward Batangan

Our kids had a great time despite the rain in the early afternoon which kept us confined in the Feline tunnel and exhibit. A great experience for our kids all around from the drive through the safari, picnic outside, inflatable amusement park, visiting all the animal exhibits, enjoying the wave pool, and participating on stage in a show with Zoe. Recommended for all families to enjoy.

Gerald Jubin

I take my kids every year or two and as always the zoo is amazing animals are fun and well taken care of the staff is helpful and informative. This year the water park was a miss however. We always love the lazy river but not so much anymore. Water was low and very slow kept getting stuck on the down stream. Also you had to go get your own tube from the end of the river and walk it up yourself. Kind of tricky with three small kids. And the walk was hot on the feet like lava walking. So two trips was my cutoff this year and we moved over to the new wave pool. The wave pool was cool but once again the new tile they put down for the walk up to the pool are gray black and worst then the river walk. Super hot and made my baby girl cry. I still love this place but not $125 worth anymore it is more like Zoo then a Zoo / water park now. I will go back for the animals but rethink the water park as the animals are more for me as an adult and the kids care more about the water park part. I hope to hear that they have made big changes by next season so I can keep them in my vacation plans.

H&S

This place was very unique. Very intimate and up close experience with animals. Place is definitely run down and low budget. It needs alot of work, but the animals made up for all that. The Lions are gorgeous and there are over 15 of them. They are very close to you and it was very cool. Tons of monkeys, and they even had hyennas. The drive through portion was cool as well. The camel's were really the only animal that were interactive. The giraffe are interactive but you must get out and walk to get to them. The place is hard to find and in the middle of nowhere, but Overall worth the money!

Felicity Stark

A nice place to see once or twice. A little less organized than other parks, also much of the water features (lazy river, slides) were still under construction. Many inflatables were not attended by staff. Positives are that it's really relaxed and staff are very friendly. Lots of good play structures and good food options available everywhere, even a good selection of beer. Safari ride was excellent, we did by car first, but the truck was way better - the only way to see it IMO. Was nice to be able to do/see all of the park in under a day, leaves enough time to relax and let the kids just play. We spent a second day just revisiting our favorite parts.

Saniya Rzk

Very limited animals and all were quite far and hidden... But only good thing is museums and Lions...

Merica Zhang

My sons grow up with Safari animals. We see changes of Safari every year. It always makes kids very happy. Parc Safari is important and beautiful part of their childhood. Thanks Safari !

The Dude

Great experience with family today. So much to do but got almost everything in. Walked through the feline's tunnels, over the monkey walkway, around the five continents animal farm, feed the deer on the trail, had some lunch and then took a dip in the Mombassa wading pool. Whew! Then took a ride around the safari to see & feed alot of different animals finishing with a walk out on the Afrika Terrace. We missed a couple of areas due time limitations or closures because of construction. Younger staff working here that maybe not always the most friendly but at least present when you need them. My advice - come as early as you can, bring lots of veggies (lettuce, apples, bananas) and bring some cash.

Linda Vadeboncoeur

I enjoyed it very much! The pool area was great!

Melody aleja

Parc Safari Summer 2020, Beautiful place ????

Candice Ross

Had a great time, there's a lot to see and do! Plan to go for the day. Wear comfy shoes and definitely bring your own water/snacks (the canteen is super pricey - $4 for a bottle of water). Park is clean and well maintained. Don't expect to learn anything from the staff though, they sit around looking bored. You'll need a mask for the indoor areas (washrooms, gift store, lion tunnel), but not for the walking area. Social distancing is a JOKE and not enforced at all so be prepared for that.

Jonathan Legault

Great place for families. Go for a visit, you can convert your one-time ticket to a season pass and those are definitely worth it. We've been season holders for 3 years and haven't had a single regret. There are specialized event days, great water parks and animated shows focusing on individual animals. Definitely a good place for a family outing.

Georges Giroux

Great place for the family. The safari drive thru part is great fun, bring your own carrots, the animals seems to love them more than the food pellets you can buy there. …

Benjamin Miller

I definitely recommend doing the car safari portion where you drive your car through and let the animals come up to you. Most wonderful experience in my life!

Rana youssef

lovely place

Omid Armand

Perfect place for kids and adults ????

Elio Ricci

Great summer day with my kid. On very hot days don’t forget water bottles and lots of it. Very pleasant and lots of things to see. My only complaint was not enough time to see everything. So plan ahead and go early ...

Marida F

A great place for kids. It was off season so it was a easy to get around. It would be time for them to update their bathrooms.

Miss Foodie Traveler

Love this place! We bought the season passports and plan on going back frequently. The ride through goes by pretty fast, but inside the park is gigantic! The deer area is beautiful and they come right up to you. (If you have food) They'll even allow you to pet them.

Samvit Narendra

Amazing place to spend the day with the family. Kids loved the animals, the water park & the play area. Wish the parking lots were a bit bigger though...

Desiree Karam

Not really our favorite animal parc. Very expensive considering the whole experience wasn't worth it. Animals confined to a small space and sleeping all day long. Extra charge to access the splash pad. We expected we'll need a whole day to explore. Finished and headed back home by 3 pm. There are many more reasonably priced spots with a much better overall experience not too far from Montreal.

Jacques Abecassis

Came here with my son. Amazing experience. First time I’ve been. Watch out because the camels will eat your entire box of food from your hand.

Daniel & Izabel's Life Adventures

Had a lot of fun with my kids, they love the animals, the pools for little kids are also nice, they enjoyed the slides! It was a fun day! Will go back again for sure!

Melissa Martella

Always a blast to go to Park Safari! The water park currently under renovation, however there are still plenty of other things to to do there like the various bouncy castles, 'aire de repos' to eat and relax in, fair games (like whack a mole) and of course the drive in Safari and the variety of animals!!! You'll want to bring your own food as it can be pricy and add up. Overall this is a great place to go with friends, family and even people who are visiting from out of town.

Stephanie Paquet

Loved our visit to Parc Safari!

Save your money and go to Granby Zoo...at least you'll see more animals and won't be subject to the b.s. style of service, and design..and hopefully a more decent clientele. Super expensive to see a few animals and to walk by a smoking area that you would only find in Quebec to be placed on the main path to everywhere..unreal!!! Pretty sad..I couldn't wait to leave...A classless area, with rides that are falling apart, no one to guide you to where things are..a guessing game on reading the signs..just horrible lay out...Yes the rides are sad, straps are broken to where my 2 years old sat on a mini car ride..of course they'll change them or do the necessary fixes once a child get hurt or worse. This place leaves nothing to envy - the poor care and concern Quebec has for its tourists is pretty evident Go visit Toronto, Maine, Vermont or any other popluar North American family spot and see how far behind this 'zoo' is...

Tony Stanley

Full day of driving and walking to animals they have a decent water attraction parks with pools and some slides but hard to do both in one day

Jonathan Paquet

We decided to go there, as we went few years in a row to the Granby Zoo and last time I went there was over 15 years ago. Well to make a long story short, less animal, some sections have construction going on, so maybe there will be more animals there in the future.. the water park is basically spread into 3 different ones and target different age group, but not really comparable with the Amazoo..The food court and shops had half places closed.. Kids loved feeding animals during the safari car that we did in the afternoon instead, so the wait line was a lot shorter.. in fact we were just few cars doing it.. and that was the best part.. All of my 3 kids said they loved Granby zoo by far.. unless there are some changes , not sure we'll go there again any time soon. Maybe in another 15. That said it is probably the best zoo after Granby in the Area. If you never went, you should at least try it once. Bring lettuce to feed animals instead of the dry food they sell..the animals seemed to really like lettuce and celery a lot more.

Kantcho Manahov

The kids lived it

Page Turners

Amazing experience! You're able to buy lettuce and pellets from the park and feed and pet the wonderful animals. The zoo you find inside is nearly as fantastic.

William Cantin

Great experience! Last time I went was 15 years ago and I feel there are fewer animals? Or maybe we went later in the day and most of them were hiding from the sun. But fresh lettuce is definitely the way to go. Most animals prefer the fresh green vegetable to the animal food box you can get there. Bring your lettuce and you will be loved!

Loay Assaf

You can easily spend the whole day here! Pack your lunch and have it there at the picnic tables. Bring your bathing suit for some cool time in the pool.

Mikael Bauer

Nice, but needs some work.

Khaled Ahram

Nice safari with loads to do and see. Plus a water park

Mike Hu

Great visit there.

Julio Pomares

Its all a lie,the parc is on construction, there is only one pool working, everything else isnt working, and they charge it the hole price, dont waste your money, time and gas on it.They show on tv that everything is working and is not.Go somewhere else...

Corelia Greau

PLEASE GO ITS SO NICE!!! An must-do experience that will entertain your kids (so they'll sleep in the car)

Shadan Eskandari

A great place for kids and animal lovers

Jessica Iafigliola

Great place to take your kids. the car safari is really fun but remember to bring your own carrots and lettuce. The larger animals seemed to enjoy that more than the food you get from the park. The park is a good size and their are lots of things to see. You also get to enjoy the water park and lazy river (you pay 2$ extra per person for this). Enjoy!

Samantha Rimes

Very busy in the driving area, not a lot to see, and the animals roaming are herded towards the cars with 4 wheelers and people with whips. Would like to see more enrichment for the animals as well. Kids really enjoyed the aqua parc. If you have small children, bring a wagon or stroller. Lots of walking.

Mark McGinnis

I come every summer with my family. My kids love to feed the animals and play in the water park. It has a nice picnic area if you want to bring some food and grill.

A N M AL IMRAN

Great place for a day out with family and specially for the kids.

Adam M

A little expensive but that's expected for an attraction like this. Kids had tons of fun and lots for them to do. Plenty of free parking. Bring your own food because the food available is expensive and they offer areas for your own picnic. My wife smokes cigarettes and we had a hard time finding a smoking area. They discourage bringing food to feed the animals, they recommend buying their own food and it costs $2.50 for a little box. We bought 3 boxes and that was plenty for the day.

Samia Manneh

Very nice zoo to go qith the kids, even small kids or babies. Staff is very kind and helpful. The concept is nice. Not expensive for the amount of activites you can do. On-site restaurents are affordable.

Gur Isler

Perfect place, non just a zoo also an aquapark especially for kids and toddlers you would spent a wonderful day. Just be prepared to bring your own food, or you would a least wait for 45min to one hour just to get a cheap burger or hotdog due to Covid measures. Recommended!

Phil Gali

its ok, not much to do its really for young children. there 3 pools all very shallow as they are for young children. the animals were nice but thats all there is here.

Bilal Al-Ghazi

Great experience for the kids, they get to be close to animals and feed them, my kids enjoyed a lot being close to animals and learn on what they eat and know about endangered species. The safari experience is so amazing, you can go between animals with your car and feed the animals like buffalos, camels and deers. The park aso has a woter activities area where kids can play in the water and enjoy the splashes.

Ayoub Machkour

Excellent place. Got a nice souvenir that I love. Will certainly visit again.

Tarek Riman

The park it self is great, there are a lot of animals, and you will definitely get the chance to feed some of them. But frankly the price is quite expensive, but what makes it worst is the extras that you will have to pay here and there, especially that you have to pay them cash. For example food for the animals is extra and you have to pay cash. Another example tubing in the small river is not included and you need to pay extra, and it is only cash. And if you don't have cash you have to withdraw on a generic ATM where of course you will have to pay an extra fee. Here are some tips. 1. Bring your own bottles of water. 2. Bring cash, you will need it. 3. Come early and spend a day to get your money worth. 4. Bring your own snacks. Enjoy your trip

Andrea Morales

It's a SUPER DIRTY full of flies place. Horrible costumer service,is incredible that in a touristic place in Canada ???????? just 3 persons answer us in English when we asked for information. We ate there and the serving place was full of flies on the food.. poutine frozen, salad rotten on the bottom, barhrooms old and dirty. With all the money that you make in 30 minutes you can buy machines for trapping flies, and trainnning a little bit more the way and attitude that the employees work in there will be a plus and a better experience for the costumers.

Paul Dodson

Took my kids and even though it's hot and you have to wear a mask here and there it's very enjoyable.

Tim Jennings

Park Safari was awesome!! Some animals you can drive right up to and feed, others were in big open areas you could walk to. It's an interesting take on a zoo but it mostly works (outside of the people that don't follow directions and have their doors open)

Jessica Williams

It's a great place for young children. Lots of play areas and parent aren't charged extra to let the kids play.

Jasmin Couture

So nice place to visit with children's. A lot of fun with majestic and beautiful animals, the waterpark, 5 continental farm, the deers pathway etc ....

Akash Patel

Bring cauliflower and bananas when u visit.

liz cress

In my opinion i thought it would be a bit better. The car lines were crazy long and the animals were not really interested. I would highly reccomend if you go to bring your own food such as lettuce, carrots, greens. The food they sell is pellet form and the animals will stick their noses up at it and search out the good cars. Go in the morning by the early afternoon the animals are all in the shade hanging out. Good luck

Melody Beauty

We been there the first day the parc opened. We got informed at the desk that the parc will close at 5 but the visit of the animal at 4h30. We arrived around 3h ish, we did the tour with our car which took about 45 min. We walked toward the animal but a employee told us it was closed( it was 4h) ???? Apparently the men at he desk sold us a ticket knowing it was closing at 4 so we paid 65$ for a tour with our own car. Don’t waist your money go to zoo Granby.

Vicky landry

Way to expensive for what it is. A lot of traffic during feeding animals. All animals were sleeping when i went. Small water park for kids very little space. I recommend grandby zoo instead .

Amberley Parsons

The Parc is completely disorganized. We drove threw the Safari, to see a small boy maybe age 11-12, viciously poking at a Camel. :( The food you provide for the animals is not really good. :( The food is overly priced and absolutely disgusting, spent nearly $60 and my entire family did not want to finish any of their meals. :( People stole our masks as we walked across the monkey bridge... Our car was completely side swiped in parking lot, which your vicinity has no security cameras to protect our vehicles. A nice birthday day trip ended up costing over $3400... :( :( :( Once we finished the drive/walk experience, we made our way to the water park. Once arrived, had to walk to one end of park to retrieve a tube, carry it all the way back to other side of park to get in 5he lazy river... Which is so shallow, you end up hitting/scraping your rear all the way through and the rapid falls whip you to the side which my son banged his head along cement wall! Disgrace of a lazy river!!! Never will return again, animal cruelty at its finest.

Christopher Calado

Great parc. Just wish there was more variety of animals. Water Parc for kids and soon for adults is great!

Barbara Leao

The lions' tunnel worth every cent that you pay to visit the park. Very nice place to stay all day with the family doing a picnic.

Siegfried The

Great place to wander around. The tube ride on the lazy river was fun; the kids had a blast. The drive through the safari was okay but I wouldn't recommend taking a new vehicle (or a cherished vehicle). The animals for the most part don't bother the vehicles but a lot of drivers seem to forget that they are still responsible for driving; I saw several vehicles where people had their children sitting on their lap driving their vehicles.

Jamie Bourque

We had a great time in both the zoo and the water park. We will definitely visit again.

Stephane “The Good Son” Beaufils

Animals stayed a stray. The lion tunnel is great. And the pools are very good...

cary Bosh

I really nice place very very happy to be there

Tanesha 69R

Was not really worth the long drive for us during this Covid as only the drive threw was open and there really wasn’t to much to see plus you had to keep your windows up.. no feeding the animals. I think the experience would be better when it opens everything else. I will definitely return when things go back to normal.

Tania Johnson

Why there are no camels inside after car ride?

salima M

Way too expensive, and that doesn't even cover all of the attractions that you have to continuously pay all day. Why not have a specific fee or group package that includes everything? Or a fee that you pay once and allows you to use all the attractions all day? And they don't even have a family package, even though people go to the zoo as a family not alone. we all know that if people come for the water park with kids they will want to do the attractions more than once and have fun. Having to wait in line to pay again and again is ridiculous. Another thing that ruined our stay was the food. "varied menus all reasonably priced" is an absolute joke. The first one we notice is the "grill", which has the exact same menu as the other restaurant right next to it. We order hamburgers, lettuce tomatoes and onions are considered "extras". So a hamburger in the eyes of Parc Safari is just Bread and Patty. you pay extra to have pretty much a lower quality mcdonald burger, and the chicken nuggets didn't even taste like chicken! GO TO GRANDBY ZOO! At least the chicken there tastes like chicken.

Magda DK

Im here right now with my daughter and a monkey- a baby monkey started drowning. They basically acted like freaking snails trying to do something after I was yelling that a monkey is drowning. She took a while to call people to come help- they strolled in after 8 minutes slowly looking as if they couldn't even give a care in the world. Stood and stared at the water with a shovel and broom. I was saying the baby monkey will die- the useless lady told me they can breathe long underwater lol- yes they are equivalent to whales- like I'm going to believe that. The monkey is dead. A whole ton of people saw this super sad moment happen. My daughter and I are very VERY DISSAPOINTED.

Lyta Perez

It was nice lots were close still find it expensive but I know its for a good cause so its ok

jeannette longchap

I had a good day but i prefer granby zoo because park safari looks so old and not well maintained like granby zoo. The tigers looked skinny so did the male lion. The animals didnt look happy and there were no entertainments like they have at granby zoo. Water park doesnt look so clean either. They really need to renovate this place. I was disappointed and i go every year but this time, it looked not like it use to. We also did the safari adventure and there werent many animals there either. We saw this one animal and it had black flies all over his body, it was gross and he looked so miserable trying to remove them.

Olga Onopchenko

Not worth the price paid. No discount for half of the day. If you arrive in the afternoon, you should pay the whole price as there's no discount for half of the day. Not a lot of animals, only one washroom is open.

Catalin Gruia

I had a pretty good day with my kids. I should say that they did not invested much last few days. We had a season pass two years in a row (2015 and 2016). I went yesterday with my kids and it was exactly the same, but older. The only difference was a wave pool, not big enough. The animals were nice though.

darcy bheekoo

Went for the lion's breakfast and the animation was all in French, for a zoo where Ontarians and American and English speaking people's in Quebec goes regularly, they should talk in English also, shame on them. All the staff should be speaking both languages as a requirement.

Mayssa's World

This parc is very clean, there were a big number of animals and i like that so much, my kids were so happy to see them as well as to feed them in the car especially..Safari is located in a large area so you could spend a whole day breathing fresh air and amusing well with friends and kids...it is a great experience for me and i advise peoplet to have a visit and run away from rotine.

Ngone Ndao

Amazing!!! The kids loved it. A lot of animals to see and to interact with ????

Brittany Menard

Save yourself time and money and go to Granby Zoo instead

Phoenix Shade

Our kids loved the zoo! The car ride with free animals was fantastic but i wish there was more animal kinds tho...

Antwan Ajram

It is really very interesting place for kids and whole Family and you can give food to the animals

wako the realist

We went as family and we had a great time ????

Tanya Kochubey

Animals cages are so small specially the lions and all animals looks sad and unhealthy .I've been to park safari many times and they have done absolutely nothing to the zoo inside , you would think after all these years they would make the …

Oriana Ortega

Lovely place, kid enjoyed see all animals and open spaces. I would recommend plan for the whole day and do the water park too. Also bring your own food very limited the offer.

Jean-Yves Papineau

Have been there twice. I definitely recommend you do the driving portion first. The animals will more active and hungry. The lions are impressive, and being able to see them up close through the glass tunnel is a bit of a humbling experience. They feed the lions at certain times. So if you want to get some decent photos get a good spot early on. It gets crowded fast! The pool area is a nice refreshing break, especially fif you have kids and it's a hot day.

Ali Nehme

I only visited the zoo. Not as expected. Only few animals that are not much interesting. I would say it does not deserve the entrance fees I paid.

Serena Henson

So many laughs and amazing memories. Thank you!!!

LamiaBest

I loved it. You can actually have the car door open, touch and feed the animals.

Deanna Saliba

Really great park with a lot of interesting exhibits and experiences but under construction right now. Can't wait to come back next year and see it in full swing.

Cristian Oana

The place improved in the last 10 years, the animals are now look well feed. The kids had fun, this place is good for a change of pace from Gramby or park omega.

Jason Shadbolt

There was a lot for m y kids to see and they loved riding in the car and getting close to the animals. Only downside was there was renovations happening in the Waterpark at the same time as we were there

Jamie Tobin

Always a great place to take the kids for an afternoon. It seems they have not been paying much attention to the property lately, lots of weeds and over growth throughout the kids play area. Overall good experience!

Michael Lord

Great experience with my son and his family. Need more trees for the animals

Prin B

I rarely post reviews because I don't care enough to bother, but my goodness was our day absolutely awful at Parc Safari. We got there at 11 and waited until 12:53 to actually get into the park. By the time everybody makes it through the unbelievable wait to get into the park, everybody is impatient, kids are screaming crying all around you because they've had enough... It's just awful. And it stayed awful. You could tell every kid in that place was done right from the start and their parents too. Staff is incredibly unhelpful, from the ~10 year old boy employee at the entrance who said a map was in the magazine he gave us, when it wasn't and apparently, he was the ONLY source for maps, to the 12 year old girl employee who begrudgingly answered questions about the animals to the other 10 year old boy employee who pointed us in the direction of the bathroom, which was locked. The only bathroom we found that was open was by the water park and there was a line out the door on the women's side. The toilets are from 1970 too, with misfit lids on them that barely flush. Not one thing about this experience was pleasant. People were so frustrated about the traffic to get in that they honked all through the safari part, clearly spooking the animals. Nobody followed the rules about what to feed the animals and nobody cares. The staff certainly doesn't. We saw a woman throw something that looked like garbage at the elephants through the fence right beside a staff member and the staff member said nothing and just drove on by. People were feeding carrots left and right in spite of the signs everywhere saying not to feed carrots. Employees didn't care about that either. The staff and setup of Parc Safari sets the tone for angry, selfish visitors and it's truly an awful waste of money. The staff doesn't care and it's obvious. And on top of that, a lot of the animals look bored, pacing on trodden paths that they've obviously paced upon for months, with very little actual habitat enrichment or space. We won't be going back ever again, in spite of not being able to see everything because of how much time we wasted in line to get in. Truly awful. I thought it was going to be a fun day of showing my kids elephants and whatnot, but Parc Safari actually made me feel like the world is a worse place. I mean, who throws garbage at an elephant?! COME ON.

SAADALLAH Nawfel

Great times. Staff were lovely. Social distancing well respected and reinforced.

Vivek Agrawal

Highly overpriced. Not worth it

Wei Yue

I don't quite get it why carrots are not allowed here to feed the animals. You have to buy their own animal food for $2.5 per box, which by the way, most of the animals don't give a f..k. The transparent tunnel in the lion section is awesome though.

Mykola Tymchenko

Nice and fun place, whit agua park

Teressa Taylor

Going to parc safari in time of the virus was a good day even though we didnt decide to go see the other animals in the zoo part since we didnt want to go among alot of people and they had alot the day we went but we do decide to go back during the week and hope they are not that much people ???? I think it's a great time to explore the drive through the parc safari ????

Jake Wong

Great park to spend a day inside. You can see Asia and African animals, play with water park. Amazing!

Cat Woo

Family fun

Anthony Meli

A great drive through and walk through experience. I found it a little expensive though (~$140 for family of 4). The glass tunnels for the lions and tigers was cool. They also have a great waterpark. I'd recommend arriving before 11:00 am. By the time we got there all the keeper/enrichment events were over for the day.

Husam Eisa Eisa

Good ????????????????

Patrice Fleury-Charles

I assume the quantity of attractions were different before Covid maybe like a little disney land. But once everything come back to normal I am sure it will be a great pleasure.

Bob Boroujerdi Far

It's is pretty cool for the kids. There are lots of animals. Employees don't know too much English , they speak French. They are all nice and helpful. There are lots of animal there like the deers, buffalos , Camels , tiger , lions and etc. You can buy feed them, you should buy foods , it's 2.5$ each box. Some kind of animals eat it but you can also get lots of vegetables like carrots and lotus the animals prefer it. You will get a guide book there and the map inside the books is really helpful. You can spend couple of hours there , or even on day.

Um Ali

Fun place for adults and kids

sukhchain singh 909

A good combination of two places, animal site seeing and water zone(pool) area. Enjoyed a lot.

Fam Family Family fun

It’s a fun place to take your kids We hand an amazing time The only down side for me was that we had a lot of flies that got in our car.

RA4E

Loved it soooo much! It took some fast and furious skills to get around some animals to make sure the car didn't get scratched????. Also, the burger was little lame, but please accept credit cards to buy animal food!!!

RA4E

3.5 * Less animals at the safari drive than years ago but still fun. Would reccomend packing a lunch over the restaurants, food was not good and picnic area very accessible and big. Had a great day overall.

Sepideh Javedani

Perfect for kids

Julianeta Lima

When you do the safari on your own car, the price is included in your ticket. Is a pretty good activity. My Kids loved it... they enjoyed feeding the animals and seeing them from really close was amazing. Or you can take their transport for $$ and come Inside with the giraffes and others animals that you can't see from your own car. I liked the possibility of seeing animals from really close, it's a wonderful experience, however I saw sad caged animals. Many of them were on veterinary check out, so they weren't outside. I saw the tiger in a small cage ...It feels wrong. But they looked healthy. The pool was super cold. unimpressive waves. But the pool for the little ones was good and also the slides. Next year they will have more options for the water park which is good. I think in general that the main idea is good, but obviously if you expect to see the animals close, the cages gonna be small.

Guillaume Militello

Safari is fun, prepare to queue (a lot) in the car. Bring some celery and carrots for the animals to come close to your car. Decent number of species among the whole parc, fun water activities for the kids. Everything is expensive and I just found one fountain in the whole parc but you can bring your own food and stuff.

Randy Abair

Fun time and reasonably priced. In general the animals seem well cared for, and perhaps a bit lazy from life in captivity... possibly a little bored. Also some dromedary or camel stole an entire box of allthe food we had to distribute among all of his friends.

Really a nice place to visit. The drive through Safari is really awesome and he family enjoyed. The real feel when animals come walking up to your care. Having lions and tigers walking over you is also amazing.

Staphik Spironciel

Beautiful ... picturesque ????‍♂️????☀️????

HANDY MAN

Nice for kids

Dallas woodworth

Best place to take your kids. So much to do and so much fun.

Nicolae Corbos

Poor fast food offer

Alex Volkov

Nice place. Happy animals. It will take 3-4 hours to see all. It's bit $$ but worth it.

Kay B

We all had a blast when we went. Haven't been to Parc Safari ever, so it was nice to go with my fam and my nephew and niece... my nephew was more interested in seeing the Lions then feeding the deer, he was actually a little scared. So when we finally found the lions and he asked of he could feed them, we laughed so hard. He's a Leo! Lol

Mossaref Hossain

Nice place to visit

Alexis Turner

I am beyond disappointed with my trip to Parc Safari due to COVID-19 the animal section requires everybody to roll up their windows and no one is allowed to feed the animals on top of that there are a quarter of the animals that they’re usually are and none of them would approach the cars to make matters even worse no one in the park is required to wear a mask . The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty.

Joy Wattie

A great place to take the children for a trip to see many different animals. They won’t allow you to feed the animals carrots anymore, but you can still feed them other vegetables. There is also a great park and water activities for the children to do as well.

Moshe Shak

I can spend there the whole day and enjoy it. The sights are beautiful; plenty of live animals to observe; shops to buy food; places to eat indoors or picnic style; places for the young to enjoy the water in various ways; to a limited degree ride a camel or feed the deer... Clean facilities, lots of space for parking and walking. The place is packed with incentives to come again... and again.

Leonard Xu

Amazing place for family outing! Kids would love it! However sometimes, there are people without maners always throwing food at animals or making fun of them... sad. Recommend going on a hot day so after safari tour, could go to hit the waves and floating on the "river". NB: Bring celery, lettuce, or any green vegetables, NO CARROTS ARE ALLOWED.

Estelle OLIVIER

Very nice parc! It's like a zoo plus an animal free area (all non-dangerous animals but some have horns...)

Stewart Rippersfelt

Park Safari is an awesome place but their hours are deceptive. There is a global closing time which is what is advertised but attractions begin to close within the park itself well before that. Plan to do everything by at least an hour and a half before the advertised closing time.

நான் தாழ்ந்தவன் இல்லைைடா தாழ்தப்பட்டவன்.

Waste of money and less animals..too expensive..really waste..I wouldn't recommend to anyone

Mathieu Despatis

Great for kid and family

a. Pineda

Loved it but it was kind of cold ( october visit ) Also you guys should sell beer

Mohamad

Waste of money if your visit for safari few animal on car track BECAREFUL huge camel may damage your car will never visit again, Parc Omega more beautiful and more animals and cheaper than this one

Vishal

Excellent place to visit with kids and family. Less than a hour drive from Montreal.

Haider S. Ali

Extremely disappointing. Expensive for one for what there is. The drive through "safari" had no animals. I remember going as a kid and seeing a ton of animals that would all come to the car. Now there's barely anything and they're all far away. Instead you have to pay another 10 bucks to hop on another vehicle driven by employees to get close to the animals. I guess they figured they could make more money by charging you more on top of the ridiculous ticket price. Even walking through the park there isn't much to see. Won't be going back. Want a better zoo experience? Go to Granby Zoo.

Anoj Martin

Wonderful experience. We can see animals very near and even we can touch and feed them

Jennifer Lynn Carter (Creativity Coast)

Amazing! Quite a large park, hard to view everything in one day! Arrive early! Plan about 1 1/2 hours for the drive through safari if you want to take your time and really enjoy each section. We purchased 5 boxes of pellets (they are large pellets) and we ran out right at the end. We had 4 of us feeding the animals though. We brought cucumbers with us, you can bring lettuce, celery or cucumbers to feed them. No carrots are allowed. They are $2.50 a box and if you have some left over from the drive through safari you can feed the deer invade the park or the giraffes!

Mohamed Adlene Atallaoui

Very bad on weekend bumper to bumper from the start to the end, they should limit the access based on capacity kids were frustrated!!!

david david

We go there many times every summer. My kid loves every part of it. On the weekends or during construction vacation, make sure to get there a few minutes before opening time. Otherwise you might end up waiting in line in your car for hours. Staff is very friendly and the indoor restaurant is pretty good. Water games are fun and well monitored. Some animals enclosures feel too small for the animals. Some installations are outdated or completly unfunctional. So it looks old, but it is still fun to visit. Feeding lettuce to the animals is still the best part of each visit, especially girrafs and bambies.

Oana Madalina Spinu

You could update your site to inform people that you are close. Not to came 160 km to see the close gates :| Thank you for your very good service. You're the best!!!!

dontaco86

Zoo section is nice but waterpark couple be better

Izabela Saikaly

Just came back from a beautiful day at Parc Safari. Not too sure what anyone could possibly complain about or why they would give a bad review. Beautiful and clean park, amazing exotic animals, and friendly staff, My husband and 3 year old son had a wonderful adventure. When you get to feed a giraffe carrots out of your hand, have camels around your car, and see lions/tigers walk above you in a glass tunnel, how could you possibly let the little things ruin your trip ?

Kimberly Selby

I loved it was fun seeing all the animals.

J-R L

Great location to spend the day with family and friends! You're able to admire the aninals along the way...you can buy from restaurants and/or bring your own food. Do not forget to reserve your spot for the water parks!!!

Tri Tran

Great zoo to take your family out for a day. The glass enclosed area for the tigers is awesome. You can get real close to them. The lazy river needs some TLC.

Daniel Black

We got in essentially free of charge thanks to some generous friends. Well worth it! ???? My girls loved feeding the gentle giraffes, as well as tons of other animals!

K

Despite high expectations, we were really disappointed with our visit. The Parc infrastructure is getting old and it is way overpriced. There was some fun for kids, but nothing amazing for parents.

Anas AL

Very bad experience at Park Safari. I would like to rate zero, but there is none. The staff are not friendly, not respectful, and they lie to the customer and do not believe him. I would advise everyone NOT to visit this park.

Stephen “Trini” Budree

Really fun lots of animals and great staff

Rossler Boquiren

Don't even bother wasting your money coming here. If the animals are what you're after, there aren't much. The quality of their living quarters are poor and the staff looks like part timer students who are playing at a park. You will, however, appreciate some of the animals that you can get close to and feed.

Mohammad Al Rayyan

I have never written a feedback on any visit I made before but feel obligated to write one on this visit. Very poor customer service. They refused to process a discount coupon at the entrance contradicting their website claim. When I called Parc Safari this morning and asked to speak to customer service about the issue I was told the only way to contact customer service is by email and the response time is like a week. Where on Earth can one find such customer service?

Brad Parmar

Little expensive on Dsily rate. Water park- Activity Good if you plan that. Language signed are inconsistent, meaning No balance between Ehglish & Fracais! It is close to 300Million English speakers vs 6 Million French. Animal park and Safari park is very good.

Isabella Wölfl

Awesome! First time there with the family, was a great experience, beautiful to go the route to see the animals and after to play in the waterpark by nice sunny weather, the price is reasonable would go there as early as possible, recommend seeing this place with your kids. There are a lot of fun activities to choose from, bring some cash. I would bring my own healthy food snacks, food choices are not that great/healthy (my opinion) but yes worth going there if you like animals, waterpark and fun activity

Marie Dominique Hannus

Great experience. Kids loved it.

Carrie Lauzon

Love the animals the kids really enjoyed the water

Michaela Scriver

Beautiful large safari-style zoo. Wonderful drive-thru portion where you get to be up close and personal with the animals. Zookeepers circulate to make sure the animals stay off the road so you don't get stuck. Once you're through the driving portion, explore the rest of the what the zoo has to offer. They have a great little water park for young and old and a fun lazy river that ends in a slide. What stood out for me was that the animals don't look miserable as they do at other zoos, and that makes a huge difference in the overall experience.

cathy iannetta

Just AMAZING

Alexandre Debargis

I went here on the first day of the season and it was nice because the animal were curious and hungry so they would come close to the cars and put their heads into the car for the yummy carrots and treats we had for them I even had a bison scratch his head on my passenger side mirror. No damage was done, we just found that hilarious!

Laura De Medeiros

Park safari is a good place for kids and adults alike. The fact that you can interact with the animals along the way is what makes this place what it is. Generally the animals are all very friendly and don't shy away from people. I do wish that there were more staff supervising the park and ensuring the safety of animals because on my few visits there I had noticed visitors feeding animals food that could be potentially harmful and toxic to them and there wasn't much monitoring going on. I tried to report this to administration at the park and they didn't seem to take my complaint seriously which to me reflected how they care for the animals.

Larissa Zajdler

3.5 * Less animals at the safari drive than years ago but still fun. Would reccomend packing a lunch over the restaurants, food was not good and picnic area very accessible and big. Had a great day overall.

S P

Great experience. Kids had a blast. Staff is very polite and friendly.

LiLi

It wasn’t as fun as I hoped for, but my daughter liked it. It was overall a good experience. Highly suggest to go perhaps during the weekdays to avoid the crowds and the waiting.

Véronique Ranger

this park is so BIG it's 7pm and you've not seen time go by. Well worth the money, 5 stars are not enough to say how it feel to be in Africa while so close to home.

omar kouzi

Nice place to spend weekend

daniel a

What a sad experience many animals look in bad shapeq. The Covid restrictions affected all the experience. First at all, the accès was unorganized and slowly near 40 minutes to enter. So many attractions were closed! You need to pay an extra fee for waterpark and in less than 1 hour the visit was finished, nothing at all to do. The parc for the kids was closed too. The customer service was the worse. Honnestly, i don t think return here in the near future.

truckermoffo

Really good day. The animals were very active probably because of the cooler weather. Staff was amazing, very friendly. Great promos too????

yonis moussa hersi

Amazing day !!!

Lawrence D

We loved it. The Safari was a lot of fun. If you can take your time and are stocked up on animal treats, then it'll be worth the trip. We had camels and the emus reaching into our vehicles to be fed and the kids loved it. The restaurant in the park was also very good.

Sheyla Ramos

Great experience to go with all the family.

Billy F.

Had a great time with the kids! Lots of animals and fun water park! Great staff

Roxanne Deslauriers

My first time and I loved it. Only drawback was we couldn't feed the animals.

Andrew R

Place brings back childhood memories and I still enjoy the safari aspect of the Park. I do however feel they can improve on the safari. I know the zebras can bite but not having them on the safari is disappointing. It also sucks they don’t have rides anymore. Overall this place isn’t what it used to be but I still enjoy going every summer.

M Marquis

Being able to feed the animals is a fun way to experience a zoo. But they are charging too much for the experience they offer. $20 Would be a better value for what you get. also they need to improve the admissions procedures. it took 1 hour to get in. selling extras at the gate holds up everyone just trying to get in.

Joe rameau

You can walk alot. There was a lot of different paths to take to go around to see the animals. I suggest doing the guided Safari at the end of the day. You may get lucky, and get a lot more time seing the animals. Bring lettuce, and green vegetables you'll save some money. Instead of buying the food from over there.

Patrick Leclerc

Nice place, lot of accomodations. Kids love it. Nice water park too.

Emil Mihov

Half the stuff was closed due to covid but they charged full price. 120$ for me the wife and my 3y old daughter. On top of that a camel ate my mirror and they told me i have to pay for it and didn't even apologize. The security personnel filled up an unreadable accident report and told me to call my insurance if i want to.

Boris Kosov

Amazing place. Perfect for family visit. One negative thing: HUGE lineups in the morning on entrance. They have 15 entrance gates, but only 7 or 8 are open. Better to arrive after 11am. But as soon as you are in - everything is perfect!

Sayed Frangieh

In july better than august and 1 of the best places for kids

Max Medina

Great experience on feeding -interacting with animals, animals are in a more open environment, you can bring the recommended food to feed the animals or you can buy at the place, place is great for a family experience, good for kids, you can bring your own food for picnic or you can buy from the restaurants inside, prices were reasonable, there is an aquatic park so kids can enjoy the water games and pools, there’s a pool with waves, a big free parking lot, boutiques, a fair type game zone, there are shows for kids, recommended place

lester suarez

The safari part was fine, but the "water park" was terrible. Up to you if you want to catch a disease but remember Canadians have free health care you don't.

Shelley Hazen

I have been going here since I was a child. It's a staple in the North Country, given how close we are to Quebec. I haven't been there in a few years, and since my last visit they revamped the Park. Their changes are fantastic. The variety of exotic animals that they have is truly remarkable. White lions, white rhinos, tigers, cheetahs, giraffes... the park is also set up in a way that's easy to follow, so you don't get lost. I will add one criticism and that's the food. It's acceptable, but not very good. It's basically something you eat out of necessity.

Nikki Shtyka

Thought there were more animals to feed during the drive thru, but overall it was great for the kids. Giraffes and zebra section was great!

karine berthiaume

Great place to enjoy with the kids. The only down side was service at the ice cream stand.

Yuqing Qiu

It was our first time here and overall it was a great experience! There is a wide selection of animals. Only complaint is that the bathroom is too old. We had a great day!

Cathy Pisto

They had everything well organized as per the covid. Not many people at the same time at the same place.

Ibrahim Ahmed

Awesome place for the entire family!

Sylvain Proulx

I have to admit never been didn’t know what to expect... for the price this was probably the best I have been, better than Toronto zoo and others. Need some updates, but overall really well organized! Thanks for a great day with my son!!

Chantal Levesque

Fun place to go!!!!

Gautam Verma

Very nice place to spend a summer/ fall day.

T

It's a great place for kids. I can only hope the animal are well treated... Staff was friendly and it was not too busy when I went mid-june.

Caitlin Donohue

It was fun but I would've liked to see more a lot of the attractions were closed for renovation ????Anyways I guess I'll have to go back I want to go back anyways ????

Bobbi-jo Moynan

Animals look like they need more water and food half the water parks was close under construction small for the price we pay I would have rather went to the Granby zoo you get more for your money at least

Robert Melancon

The zoo doesn't look good, few animals or nothing at all....

Willowspritew W

Great experience. Bringing lettuce is a good idea if you want to feed the animals that can be feed. Brought radish leaves too and the deer were able to tell it's not as good as lettuce. The Bush car safari is good if you don't want to drive your car through the safari expedition. Lions were amazing. Too bad the waterpark tube slides were still under construction though.

NIBU ISSAC

Good place to visit

Veronica Racine

Great zoo, well kept, friendly staff and great place for the animals. All animals looked like they were well taken care of. Staff members could be found all over the zoo. Not overly croweded. Very good set up for walking around. Would recommend 100%

dave charron

Safari Park was nice

ymazal mazal

Nice place, really big, kids play, car rides where the animal pick is head in tge car and you feed it. Watter amusement.

Josh Saks

Park shows as being open on both their website and google...we show up driving 1 hour to get there and park is closed! Must have been 40 people waiting and no one was there. Called the administration and they said sorry we are closed...I said why not inform people and they said I guess we should...hmmm won’t go back!

Mounir Laaraj

The parc needed a facelift and it did get some. However, the newly added pool is a major disappointment and cannot be compared to any other wave pool in the area. The animal selection seems to be very limited. I recommend visiting the lions tunnel as this seems to be the highlight of the parc.

jeffery shaw

Amazing experience all the animals came to the vehicle the prices were reasonable and the staff all friendly i would highly recommend it great environment for kids amazing water park and kid's play area at the end

Mrs. Zagury

I tired to but tickets online but the website is not well designed. It did not accept my address but the payment still goes through and the website does not generate the tickets I have been trying for several days now. I even called the main office and no one can help me. so basically they would rather lose a customer instead of trying to help me purchase tickets. Very poor customer service. I am very turned off and the least they could have done is given me and my family free tickets for all the inconvenience they caused. They would even let me use my debit card to pay. Not impressed at all and will tell everybody not to go

Catherine Pollock

Changes alot from years ago. Nice to done. The drive through paying booths a bit chaotic at the entrance. Love the Lions tunnels

Cristian Machuca

Excellent day with the family! The only thing that stopped a 5 star rating was that the water park side wasn't fully open yet

Henry Appiah

Wonderful place. My kids really liked it there. They wanted to go back to the place even the next day. Visit and you will be glad.

CHENGGANG LI

Nice place for kids

Harsh Patel

Loved it. Great place for one day family fun????

Harsh Patel

Loved it. Great place for one day family fun????

Ghada Keserwany

Lovely Park! Great experience! The kids had so much fun

Ashley Gould

What an experience! It really is a drive-thru zoo. We bought a packet of food, and an ostrich stuck it's head in the front window to get to the food in the back. They warn you that the zebras bite (so don't feed them), and you'd need a very patient driver. All in all, a very memorable experience. I wish we had been able to spend more time walking around!

Shanu Bhandari

it's really expensive when you go off season and can't access their slides or other fun activities. Otherwise, I would tell people to go to this place if you are looking for a fun, educational trip. Just don't expect to get the best value for your money

Alex Titan

Cool

Anne-Marie Chalifoux

It was nice but not enough too see.

Cherry Lau

My kids totally loved it! I could only think of one down side is that the only water slide in the parc was closed...

Jadon Waite

They dont have any customer service you guys owe me for 2 adult tickets and 2 children tickets and haven't even bothered to contact me back or give me a refund

Lilia Y

Fun day at Parc Safari! Friendly staff and animals seem to be well taken care of.

Eric Gervais

It was great but we didnt see a rhino and for the second straight year going the park was still being renovated and the water was frozen

Ian A.

Parc Safari is a zoo where the hook is the safari aspect. When you arrive at the park, there is a road you can take to see pack of animals such as buffalos, camels, antelopes, etc. That will come to your car. You can feed them salad or grains (sold on the spot). They also added an attraction thats an expedition in an open truck to get closer to animals such as giraffes with a guide. The inside of the park is a pretty standard zoo, perhaps a bit on the smaller side. You do not take the whole day to visit the animal side of the park (tho there are a few long waiting lines). This place is most ideal for families who want to take part of the day to chill at one of the aquaparks/pools. Right now (Summer 2019) the site is having renovations, so one of the aquatic attraction is closed as well as some sode things. I was given free tickets to come another day for that reason. There are a few places to eat at. Its average. The price depends. For instance for 10$ you can get a combo. However you might pay 5$ for an ice cream or 3$ for a beverage. Theres also an area where you can pic-nic. I would suggest going to see the animals towards the end of the afternoon or early morning (if you arrive for opening hours at 10). When the sun is fully out and its hot, the animals are sleepy, move less and lay in the shadows (who could blame them!) Look out for some familial and educational activities here and there.

Kashmala Khan

I think it’s an amazing place it has an amazing zoo and kids I know love the animals. Also it has a swimming area Which is good for hot days and it’s a great place for birthdays play dates family trips etc.in other words I love this place and if you are planning a little trip with your family I recommend going to Park Safari!!!????

Kim Chow

After 1 hour drive, expect another 1 hour wait at the door before able to get in, even for those who have safari passport id. That was on Sunday morning, arrived at the entrance at 11:15 am, waited in the car until 12:15. Very frustrating, especially when you have kids in the car and they are hungry and crying. Also, so many car remaining almost idle for 1 hour is not ecological at all. Safari Management , please work on improving the check in process. Thanks!

Jordan Johnston

Kids love it!

Chris

3.5* Arrived about an hour after opening and waited about 1hr15 to get in, so that wasnt fun but should of shown up earlier. The Parc seemed to be nice and clean from what I could tell. We did the driving tour of the animals first, though Id recommend you do it last as it was very slow to get through all of it because of all the cars and animals slowing down the pace. The staff was great at moving animals off the roadway though, but people were stopping in the right lane when they should stop only to the right. PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS CARROTS! I attached a picture that says they get the animals sick at the entrance yet still..people were giving the animals carrots. Disrespectful and no care for the animals. Bring lettuce! The parc was decently organized, lazy river tubes are 2$ each to rent if you wanted to do the lazy river ride (we didnt). Great place for a family! I didnt find the parc to have that many animals but if you take advantage of the whole parc you can get a good full day of activity in, but arrive early! Picnic tables near the parking area great if you brought a lunch. We saw the restaurants but wanted something quick and cheap so we went to the little cafe next to the entrance. See picture for prices. 2 sandwiches, 2 salads a cookie and 2 bottles of water was about 25$ so not bad (similar to getting prepared lunch from a grocery store. The sit down restaurant was a bit pricier but we didnt end up going so cant say how the food was. The water areas were nice albeit somewhat busy, i did notice the water being brown from the metals etc but its harmless. Water was clear and seemed to be safe. All in all a good trip for a family and if you can get a discount on entrance it makes it a worthy day trip. See pictures! Please like my review!

Brittany Marlin

The animals are in such small spaces and seem miserable and psychologically damaged. Some have paced so much that they've made trenches in their enclosures. The elephant we saw seemed to be rebelling and was throwing rocks and hitting it's shelter. There was also a limping zebra that had a bleeding wound in an enclosure near their African platform. So anything to do with the animals was just depressing. The water park looked pretty boring and gross as well, we decided to not even go in. The bathrooms were pretty gross too, I understand that there are many people in and out of them but that should mean they get a little extra attention. The rides all seemed to be shut down except for the slide. The drive through safari was long but at least those animals seemed less miserable, and it was exciting for the kids to have them approach the car. Overall very dissapointing especially having to pay approximately 150$ for 2 adults and 3 kids (5, 3, 1 years of age).

I was booking two tickets online for July 17 but I chose the wrong date, which is July 16th. So I called park safari right away literally 3 min after I realized I booked the wrong tickets to cancel those two tickets. They told me that I need to send an email to their customer service to cancel the tickets so I did. But I never heard back from them at all. It is like being ripped of money. I just don’t understand why it is so hard for them to cancel the tickets and return the money.

Danny Boulais

The safari animals were great. Lots of entertainment while driving amongst them. Terrific views from the elevated site seeing platforms for all the other animals. The water park is geared towards a young crowd. Very much a good outing.

Vanessa M

I wish we bought seasons pass. 1 day is not enough to truly enjoy all. We arrived around 1pm and felt like we rushed through all. Oh well, next summer!

Asma Ali

It’s a kids park with lots of animals it’s a good place for family and picnic

Piere Lauzon

Whent over there with the stepdaughters and grandchildrens had a ball enjoyed it alot thanks to parc safari for the good time will be back next year

Matt Coolen

Love this place. Some parts are a little dingy, but we go 2-3 times a summer to feed the animals

Rubicon B

Had a fun time at this place. Most people are reasonable and not part of the covid cult. Much better than venues in the city where people are obsessively washing hands and scared to come with in 20 feet of you. 4/5 stars because some parts of park are closed due to the china flu mass hysteria.

Brian Gomes

So nice

Alessandro Ferri

The parc is great for kids, BUT if you have to eat there save your money. The food is absolutely garbage. Probably the most disgusting pizza I ever had and the fries they served tasted of the rotten oil they used to fry the fries. Its as if they didn't change the oil in weeks. For a multimillion dollar operation its pathetic that they have such crappie food. And the drive by parc don't buy their food the animals don't like it. Better off bringing salad, celery not carrots for the animals.

Sharif Mattar

This was one of favorite family destinations until COVID19 restrictions came to effect. Many activities including Safari adventure, Aquatics and rides, are not the same experience, and many are closed for safety reasons. Aside from that, staff are very friendly, and the picnic area is a nice getaway for open-air lovers.

Joel Langlois

DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS CARROTS!!!! Very disappointing experience, there is absolutely not enough supervision for the animals to be properly treated by the thousands of inconsiderate visitors! After arriving we went to the drive thru part...an experience in patience! Nobody reads the signs or follows the rules. Observe on the right, drive on the left, and NO CARROTS!! (I noticed numerous reviewers reminding people to bring carrots, clearly those people should not even be permitted to return to the zoo! There are signs everywhere!). It's a free for all, and at least 50% of the cars where giving the animals carrots. Zoo keepers doing nothing, no control on anything. they are more concerned about pushing the animals along and off the road then they are about their well being! After what could have been a peaceful drive with my son but instead turned into frustratingly waiting for inconsiderate people to finally move out of the way, I got to the front of the pack and was able to move my vehicle to the right and enjoy a few of the animals. After the drive we went to the walk area, park is very badly laid out, it's obvious they have just kept adding with any planning, bad layout and no fluidity to the park, although the grounds where well kept. Went to the second feeding area, the rain-dear section, another area where no supervision and incompetent parents ruled the area, kids harassing the rain-dear far into the forest even thought it's clearly marked to stay on the path. Feeding them carrots with the park staff 2 feet away. Leaving that section there is a smaller petting zoo type area where every enclosure is clearly marked not to feed the animals, I saw people offering the animals crackers, chips, more carrots and anything else they had lying around. Also observed one family taunting a bird that has a clear warning about biting, (parents including). Overall this is a great idea gone horribly wrong, the animals are at the mercy of the visitors, who have no regard for their safety or well being! Staff must be more vigilant and has the responsibility to remove offending visitors, but clearly do not. I very much enjoy zoo's and have nothing against animals in captivity, but this is one place that I will never return to, find any other zoo where the animals are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve, and not like slaves imprisoned for our own enjoyment.

Sona Motomby

The lagon was absolutely fun. The kids had so much fun time in the water. But the animals looked so depressed and unhappy, maybe just my personal opinion but I felt bad looking at these animals.

Misbah Saleen

I would say that they have beautiful collection of animals, although they are limited. I highly recommend to see animals in early morning or evening. Not afternoon since most of them are sleeping. You can have water area entertainment when animals are resting though. If you visit once COVID restrictions are over, you can see their bird show and prey show. Overall space is clean, but I dont found washrooms frequently cleaned. There are benches so you may bring your own lunch from home and enjoy.

georges doumit

Good place to be with the kids

Bello Rukayat

It was fun and a place to sew fun atufgs and a place to picnic

Shamyuktha Kajeevan

Beautiful and wonderful ❤ really I like it good for the children

Yana Zaougolnikova

Very bad experience at Safari drive thru. Only a couple of animals to be seen from a distance. Boring....traffic ten times worse than on the weekend in Montreal. Kids falling asleep after eating the lettuce we brought for the animals

Jenna

We had an amazing time here! The water parks here were so much fun and the slides were very enjoyable. They have nice baby pools as well as wave pools for others. Sprinklers and splash pads. The walking tour of the animals was nice. Plenty of seats and picnic benches around the areas. Wagons, electric scooter and more ready for rental for the day. Could use more bathroom locations and stall, line ups start around 2pm for the bathroom (women) the men's seemed fine.

Derrick Bader Messier

This place is not like is used to be almost know amimal to see the food is over price and we wanted to go in the gift shop we got kicked out because I have a child with a stroller they didn't let use in that really messed up the stroller is to help us so the kids don't touch everyone should go to granby zoo way better

Lou Rhicard

It's great for the kids to see animals up close and personal. For me it's way to expensive. I understand that they have to make enough to feed the animals and also pay staff and have some for up keep of the place. It's gotten ridiculous, for 4 out of that 4 are 2 kids one 5 years and the other 1 year for us it was at least almost three hundred dollars.

Chase M.

Arrive early to take advantage. Nice day for kids.

David DeMille

Amazing animal experience, French to English translation was at times poor or non existent.

Ken Tf

The place should make larger living environments for the animals it seems very small for all the animals. The gift shop gets five stars friendly staff ,high quality to mid quality gifts at great prices. The animals really should have much more space.

Antonello Morena

Kids love the safari tour. Especially when the animals get so close. Water park are is great to cool off on a hot day.

Ashraf Abdelshakour

A very nice place to spend a summer day full of activities. Just a missing star because the aqua park needs more maintenance , a lot of kids splashes are not working and the water needs more frequent cleaning.

Mitch Stone

The best part was closed, the tube ride the park was under renovation. Didn't have such a great time. Maybe it will be better when they finish renovation

Jamie Rappaport

Had a wonderful, full-day experience! Good value, especially with a CAA rebate.

Ro Venan

Very family friendly, clean, peaceful environment. Plenty to see and do!

Jeremie Martel

Didn't saw any animal they're all sleeping

Q. W.

Very few animals. The price is too high given what it offers.

Guruvannagaru Harismitha

Should have sent the cars inside within time slots to avoid the long queue. We went on a long weekend and stuck in the queue for 3hours. Otherwise, the place is good.

Brittany

Absolute worst zoo I have ever visited in my life, and to top it off the most horrible customer service experience to go with it! I would give this 0 stars if I could! My vehicle was damaged by the camels on the tour. Unfortunately, we were unable to drive off as there was one camel blocking our way to exit. We basically had to sit in the vehicle and watch the damage happen. Right after the tour I spoke with the supervisor on site and showed her photos of the animals attacking the vehicle, and she also inspected the vehicle and saw the damage that was done. She explained that they are unable to assist us physically on the site, but to reach out to their customer service by e-mail for an admission refund for two adults. The supervisor also mentioned that when dealing with car damage they are not held liable, however she did state that a refund should be promised to me. I completely understood and appreciated the refund offer. I emailed the customer service immediately before leaving the park. A week later they responded apologizing for the inconvenience but stating they will not issue any refunds.. $80 down the drain - I am disgusted at how this company handles situations and I will make sure everyone I know is aware and stays away from this "money grabbing" trash of a zoo.

Eric Astleford

I used to love this park, but it really has gone downhill and I'm certain it has a lot to do with the park visitors. They have had to put extra safety precautions for the really good animals (because people get out of their cars after being told NOT to). It felt like I paid $100 to be stuck in a traffic jam. The most entertaining thing was watching Canadians get out of their car and hoping a wild animal will attack them. Can't say I'll be back, which is a shame. This used to be a premier attraction.

David Edel

Great family fun! You can drive with your car between animals and feed them! They also have walkway with great animals! Lions, tigers, elephants, zebras, girrafes and much more! Make sure to go to the lion tunnel where you can see lions above you in a glass tunnel! There's also amusement park for kids and an aqua-park. Great, fun & interesting experience!

MD De Montigny

Time will spent in a clean Friendly environment, Love all the Animals

simon zhang

The best time for my kid

Elizabeth Walker Meireles

It's a nice place.We had fun.

Milene Acosta

Awesome place, big variety of animals! So cool to feed a giraffe with your own hands! Halloween decorations were fabulous. Such a big place with many attractions to visit, a day is not enough to enjoy it all.

Milene Acosta

Awesome place, big variety of animals! So cool to feed a giraffe with your own hands! Halloween decorations were fabulous. Such a big place with many attractions to visit, a day is not enough to enjoy it all.

Sabrina Brown

Even with Covid rules, it was still enjoyable for us.

J Seihee

Kids really love this place. You can feed to animals and touch them.

Ivan Sch

Very Nice place to spend a day with the family ! They actually have an aqua parc which is really enjoyable for the little ones ! Also it is amazing to see from close all the animals. Security is their key point therefore you can go there blindfolded with your family !

Dmitri S

An hour and half bumper to bumper and saw a couple of animals for the most part there’s nothing to see.

Jonathan Cyr

Very expensive park. The cost to enjoyment ratio is quite skewed. The animal attraction is almost an afterthought to the sales of merchandise at …

chanel lariviere

Great Parc ! Our car over heated in the safari tour, we stopped and within minute an employee came to see us. He saw that he couldn’t help us and sent somebody more experimented to help us out. Great service ????????????????

Moly Ehsani

Overpriced for what it is they have more ducks than wild animals, tons of flies everywhere since you opened your doors there's already like 20 flies inside, what's worth here just the aquatic parc.

Ella Singh

That was the most horrible experience in my entire life! We left Ottawa and drove almost 3 hours to attend the Safari. I had 2 babies one is 6 months old. We had a prepaid ticket and we have been waiting just 2 hrs to.get in. We thought waiting was done but the safari loop was all packed up!!! We have spent another 2 hrs just to see nothing but camels camels and again camels!! It was already 3pm by the time we could finish the loop! My babies were crying and exhausted I couldn't show him anything only camels and a bit of the giraffes at the end !! We couldn't do the zoo, we couldnt see the lions and bears or barely anything !! 5 hrs of driving to see camels ! I mean seriously . Park is close at 5 PM in the summer !! Employers dont know English! I was hot angry and frustrated with my 2 babies in the vehicle and we were just stuck in the middle with all the camels ! Dont waste your money and time! I went to Granby zoo and it's not even comparable . Granby is ×100 more better than this! Animals look so miserable and I didnt see a single tree for the poor animal to hide from the sun and it can get very hot . Just sad

Joey Juliano

Great place to bring family and have a good time and relax!

Flora Eve

The weather was about 20 degrees today, it was perfect. The animals are almost all out and we got a lot of nice pictures

Mark Tartamella

Best part was the driving segment. Feeding the animals was so much fun, even as adults! The animals were cute and respectful; no one ever felt in danger. If you really want to have a good time bring a bunch of lettuce and carrots from the store on the way there. The "promenade" section was a little less exciting but had some memorable moments like the feline tunnel and feeding the giraffe. Their demonstration times didn't coincide with our day and the one we caught was just an info session. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the animals and their collective goal is to eventually release them back into the wild. I'm not a fan of zoos but this I can agree with. Overall we had a great time and it was a perfect way to spend the day away from the city. If you have kids or are big kids at heart, this is the place for you!!

David O'

Waited in line for an hour to get in, the place was severely understaffed and filthy. The pool was disgusting and most of the park was closed. Depending on which staff member you spoke to, it was either because of students returning to cégep or not enough visitors to warrant opening the main attractions. Either way, very disappointing.

Julie Turcotte

The cool box experience is great. The after hour visits are very nice as only the families renting the cool box are present. Feels like vip!

Olga Melnik

Reserved weeks in advance, waited 1 hour in line in the car with three toddlers to get in

Robert Blanchette

They should tell you on the first page before buying non refundable tickets that you must keep your windows shut. Do not touch or feed the animals because ouf Corona. Boring

Vicky Poratti

We have visited Parc Safari, with grandchildren, many times over the last 15 years and have always loved the experience. Yesterday's visit was a huge disappointment. The highlight of past visits has always been the drive through the park. This time we saw very few animals and the ponds that the animals were swimming in and drinking from were covered in thick green algae. This will be our last trip.

Pierre Cura

I was a young kid when i went there with my parents but i still remember feeding some exotic animals and riding elephant they had monkey it was amazing i want to go back since then

Seema Ambareen

Great place of entertainment for kids, my kids had the fun of their lives

Belal mojaddedi

Everybody should go there at least once a year to get out of the grid lots of the city

Lucie Gelinas

great visit with family

Jason Lettre

Great place too bad kids are no longer allowed to site in the back of a truck.

Igor Sch

Not a good place to get some fun. Too noisy and not family friendly at all. Prayer through the speakers - sorry it's too much. I'll find another place to go and Granby Zoo one of them.

Tom Sanner

The animals are wonderful ❤️ but the park is much to expensive to visit often...the Cafe's were slow expensive and the their food inedible????

Niloufar Sangar

It was fun, but honestly I expected more variety of animals! The best we got was giraffe ( which I loved!), rhino, zebra and elephant. There were also water slides, a pool for little ones! and a pool for adults. I think that requires a full day trip for you if you want to cover all parts with your family.

naomi zhang

great place!!love it! must buy session passport!believe me

Shawn Lowey

Was an awesome place to go visit lots to do feeding the animals was cool we spent the whole day there for my son's birthday he had a blast would definitely recommend anyone to go there you won't be disappointed in the least.

Geoffrey Pelsise

Just got season passes for the 3rd year in a row. My kids love going there for the animals and the water features.

Montreal Explora

MIXED OPINION. - i know i decided to go to parc safari for intertainment but those animals look soo unhappy in their fenced area. They are held captive for our entertainement ... - other than that tought, it's fun. - once in your life, try it. - nice water park for everyone -staff is friendly and look like they are having fun working. - bathrooms definatly need an upgrade. - good choice of on site resto. - plenty of picnic or bbq area near parking lot. - plenty of parking. Over all i loved my experience. The staff did not rush us out when it was closing and people were still playing "mini pot" on the site.

JJCP

Great way to show your children how not to treat the 'natural' world. Nothing worst than the depressed and humilated elephants who reluctantly eat the food thrown at them from cars in their cramped enclosure. Real-world example of how societies can accept things like concetration camps. Highly recommend!

Mitch Bell

Kids loved it

Shaelene McInnis

Our third time visiting and as always, we had a great time. Friendly staff, lots of fun at the water park, loved the lazy river, and a great time feeding the deer and giraffes.

Mike is Smart

The drive through is fun when the animals are out and eating so go early or they will be full and sleeping in the shade. We were not impressed at all with the waterpark staff. My 3yo went down the waterslide while another kid was climbing up the slide and the lifeguard didn't say or do anything. He just sat there staring. He wouldn't of even known what to do if there was an actual problem. At the splash pool there was like 1 lifeguard for the whole pool. On the little slide there were big kids going up and down the slide while little 3 to 5yo were waiting in line and I had to say something to them. Let's just say watch your kids as the lifeguards are very unmotivated! Not saying they are all like that but the 3 or so I had contact with shouldn't be employed as lifeguards. Oh and the paveuni along the kids slides were all giving away and separating leaving a big crack that my daughter got her foot stuck in. Let just say that the park needs the renovation that it's going through. Hopefully they will pay more attention to safety.

Sheila Porter

It was a fun day. Overall, the grounds were clean and well kept. Bathrooms were very clean as well. They were constructing certain sites so we were inconvenienced a little and were offered a free second visit. The only thing is that they mentioned that the wave.pool was.closed.but it was all the water except for the kid slides. They should advise that the animal food is cash only, or sell some at the entrance so that credit or debit card can be used. Also they should advise that there is a radio station... Unfortunately we noticed that as we were leaving. Water fountains are very scarce and no ATM machines to be found! Other than this, the rest of the visit was very fun and we all had a great time.

Mz C.D.

Great zoo, lots to see and 3 swim areas for everyone to enjoy. We went for 2 days in a row, worth it so you can take your time and sometimes get a better feeding or view on the second time around.

Tamer Beit

A nice place to spend the day, it has both drive through and walk through. While the drive through is nice to drive close to animals, the walkthrough is a must as some animals cannot be seen while driving. Two things badly affected my rating, I understand this might be due to COVID-19 1- The website mentioned closing time as 6:30, the actual closing time was 4:00, please fix the website. 2- The picnic area closed at 4:00. OK, I really needed to enjoy a meal in there before driving back 3 hours. Don’t understand the reason behind this. 3- We couldn’t see the elephants nor the rhinos due to some animal guards availability. Overall, the kids really liked it. I am sure it is more interesting on times when Corona is over. It is a bit pricey $$$ where you need to pay $40 to (including tax) per adult, $24+tax per kids over 5

Eric Schapira

Exceptionally disappointing experience. my son got sick when we arrived & nice lady at the information booth said no problem to leave and we just needed to email customer service as they will provide 2 complimentary to return. After my wife & I returned home we emailed customer service & they responded they don't ever provide complimentary tickets unless the person leaves by ambulance. Talk about not having a heart especially for a venue that thrives on children (& parents) enjoyment and positive word of mouth referrals. We will not be returning!

Amazingly amazing

Bernadette Marsolais

Parc Safari has an amazing experience for any zoo/safari themed attraction enthusiast. There was many different species of animals to see as the enclosures are well maintained. Food was great as the shop had nice souvenirs (manly for children who go). Staff are very polite and translate for those who dont speak French well. There was a variety of pools and waterslides for families as well. Overall the park was great and a wonderful experience for friends and family.

Michele “Mike” Vinciguerra

Driving around was not the best part. Too many people clogging the way, not following any directions on the signs. Basically people make the experience not great. The park itself is fun and the water areas kept the kids busy for hours. Facilities for families (ie breastfeeding rooms or family bathrooms, cart rental) are not present but there are some useful things for kids. Lower urinals, little benches to wash hands etc etc. Didn't interact with staff much but the ones we met were nice.

Lucas Russell

Staff in pools didnt even watch the kids. free for all. they would ignore and just chat with each other. also some didnt speak english even though usa and Ontario plates everywhere. no signs in certain areas with rules like wave pool and then would yell at you like you should know. lazy river wasnt lazy at all. again no signs to find where to get tubes, you yourself have to walk across park to get them and carry them to start. make sure its hot out, you will go through park super quick and only thing to keep kids busy it the pools. they removed any rides like there used to be and replaced with bouncy castles. kids did like them but.... animals were repetitive and limited. feeding giraffes was probably best part. good experience for kids but not something we would do again go but be aware if its a cold day because youll be done evrything in a hour and half without pool use.

Frank D

Toilettes are dirty, restaurents sub par. The parc is interesting. Use to be better. Maybe wait after the pandemic when they are back to normal

Mustafa Kazi

Me and my girlfriend loved it!

Nana Yamasaki

Nice place to bring children.

Francine Stanton

Overpriced and not much to see. Only local animals, with a few exceptions. If you like to see camels, camels and camels, this is the place to go. They sell you food that the animals do not want to eat. Drive through really not worth the money. The lion section is nice, as well as the amusement park. Not worth the money.

Alex Well-Loved

Thou zoo Wasn't very busy we had a long line up. Flies all over the place and the food. Water park was a huge dissapointment, tv wave pool is false advertisememt. Staff is disinterested.

Tanya Petrova

Fantastic

Christine Lamarche

We had a good price so it was worth going. The aquatic section was closed and there are no rides anymore. Not a lot of animals in the mini farm.

Glenda Hachey

We had soooooooo much fun. An AMAZING day with family and friends. So much to see and enjoy.I would go back any time. The animals are great, attractions are great, and the STAFF ARE AMAZING, Extreamly helpful and friendly.LOOOOOOVE PARK SAFARI XOXOXO THE BEST ZOO EVER

Maria Baldi

Good place for day with familly

Victoria Aita-Mora

Too much to do and see for one day! Season pass totally worth it... great for little kids, easy access for strollers, good restorants & many picnic areas

Chad Parker

We had a blast. It wasn’t quite the Parc Safari I remembered from my youth. But that was twenty years ago. Granted it was the last day of the season and during a pandemic but a lot was closed and it seemed to have lost some of its luster and magic. The skeleton crew were not what one would expect in a attraction like Parc safari but we weren’t there for the service. We were there for the wild life and we were not let down. It was still a fun experience in that aspect.

Ting-Ming Chen

I bought season pass this year. My family had a lot of fun looking and feeding animals. The aqua park is awesome.

Holly Jones

Facilities under renovations/ a lot of construction on our last visit. Offered free passes for all of us to return before the end of the season

BILAL AL-HADDAD

Great for families and children to spend the day. Season pass is a better option if you think you will do it twice or more in the season. The safari it self is a great experience for the kids to get a closer view. Staff do speak French mostly, nothing wrong with that but would be nice if they see you struggling to try and help you in English as well. Waterpark isn't that big but it's enough for young kids. Loved the lions tunnel great close up experience.

Pat Mercier

great for kids, has a great water park now too. we spent just as much time in the park than with the animals. bring cash!!! if you are doing the safari if you want to buy the dry food.

Dk Mayes

Awesome you drive around and see animals uncaged camels and giraffe come up to the car where you can touch or feed them also you can walk and see the cage animals like lions tigers bears and others and they have three different water parks with activities for everyone for toddlers to adults with lots of restaurants to Great Park just outside of Montreal

Brigitte de bal

I’m giving two stars only because the car ride was really great. I haven’t been to parc safari from since the 90. Always went to Granby zoo which is excellent. What disappointed me with parc safari is not being able to use the bathroom because of four toilets were blocked and overflowing with poop. I can understand it happens but after 1 and a half hour it was still the same. Not being able to go we went to another one which the toilet seats were cracked and all the toilets were very disgusting. It doesn’t take much money to have at least a couple of employees to check the toilets frequently. And a little paint job in the wave pool and other areas will make people less disgusted to go in. I’m disappointed and won’t go back. Unfortunately all the people I talk to won’t go either. It’s a shame.ill stick with Granby zoo.

Yogeendra Urs

This is really one of the best places for families and kids enjoy a lot. Especially the drive inside the Park Safari and watching the animals coming closer towards the car, it is awesome. Lots of green, plenty of space, well maintained water park, Camel rides etc. We love to visit this place again when we get time.

Youssef Sarrhini

I was there today and I was very impressed with the variety of animals and the activities there. Being in a car and so close to animals is an amazing experience. The animals appear to be well taken care of and the personnel of the park were very welcoming. My kids loved the aqua park and could not get enough of it! Next year I will purchase a pass for the season and I believe it is well worth it!

Akshatha Bh

Good place for children's to enjoy

Derek Martin

Loved it! The staff were very friendly and responded in English when asked. It was an interesting mix of a zoo and Waterpark. Rather expensive though so an to spend all day.

Jeremy Miloncini

Good place to bring your children beautiful area just a bit to pricey

Haneen Abu al awafi

It's was super nice there I really enjoyed my day there. There is alot of things to do and alot of animals to see. the prices are fair

Luis Amador Jimenez

Nice mixed water park and zoo with safari ride (your own car or tall military trucks), ride is 40 mins and you can see 5 or 6 main types of animals. Water park has infants pool and adults pools with waves, right now some attractions under renovation, if you buy online they will give you free tickets to come back, if you buy at the door they won’t.

A I

I went here for the first time, it had been on my bucket list to do for a little bit now. I live in Vermont, U.S so it was just a short drive away! Let me tell you that if you are scared of zoo animals getting close to you proceed with caution! I had a camel! A camel stick its head in my car window! It was cool completely unexpected but super cool! Great place to take your kids to that you will love also! I fed a Giraffe!!!!

Kevin Pearce

I great, full day of activities for families. Parc safari has an interesting mix of "safari" drive through experience and "zoo" walk up experiences. The walk under lion enclosure was the first of its kind I had ever seen, and by far the closest to a lion I have ever been! There is also a waterpark on site that makes for a great way to beat the afternoon heat. The park also has a large food court and several restaurants and bistros to keep your energy up while you explore. Makes a great daytrip from Ottawa or Montreal. During peak season I recommend arriving early, or at lunch arriving at park open will result in waiting in a long line to get in. If you are in the Montréal area for a few days, this is a good way to take a break from the "city".

Leila l

My son loves it a lot.

sean N

Not happy. When we went there nothing was on schedauel. The lion feedings were not at the right time. One of the pool area was closed. It also needs to be updated beacuse the floor looks realy gross. My wife asked about when the girrafe were finished she was told 5. We got there at 400 to be told it was closed we bought food for it. Not happy the guy was rude. When i facebooled them they didnt seem to care. Bad custumer service save your money go else where

Gian Carlo Lamberti

Great fun for all ages

Michele De Wever

Very nice activity to do with the whole family. Nice that you can drive through the park to feed the animals and afterwards you walk to see others. The park is very clean.

Rebecca Filion

Beautiful park. Lack of water rides, considering the claim to be a water park, only one tube ride that needs to be fixed as you continually get stuck on rocks. The animal interaction was awesome and food was good!

Doreen Absal

A great experience for the kids. Can get a bit busy with long line ups along the paths where the animals congregate. Alcohol and soft drinks are also available in small kiosks inside the Parc so you can walk and enjoy a drink while checking out the rest of the animals that are kept in enclosures. We didn't have a chance to check out the water park as we had limited time that day.

Milad Ibrahim

Lots of fun! The water park is great!

Andrei Peter Petrinca

The park closes at 5PM, but access to the animals closes at 4PM. It is very annoying to have the door slammed into your face, when there is one hour left. Some of the animals from the trail where you drive were removed since our last visit, …

kiki M

Nice place but overpriced. Especially given that the water slides were under construction. Limited access to all themes. Quite expensive.

Dhara Desai

Awesome must visit

Erick C

Bit expensive, but nowadays, whats not expensive. But nice setup

jason hyatt

the owner said on TV he prefers the rights of religious groups and loud speaker prayer sessions over the satisfaction of his guests- who went there for the park---wont be going here EVER!!! He even said there are sections specially laid out for larger religious groups to congregate and overwhelm your family with their values-and prayers. What about the rights of the guests to freedom from their religion- my community certainly doesnt have our prayers on loud speakers- maybe we will be louder then them next time

Said Samman

It is a nice family place to visit

Lil Pea

So we loved our day....but it didn't involved the animal as much as the water park and other games. Don't get me wrong : we had fun doing the car safari and watching the lions. But it seems like there were less animals this year and some section of the park are closing so early. The pool area is really fun, with different water experience for kids of different ages, lots of lounger and plenty of drink options. So get there as early as you can in the morning to make the most of both world, in will be well worth it.

Ben Adams

Very nice getaway for a good price, the kids absolutely loved the park!! The staff is was kind and helpful, clean and they have a outdoor water park. We spent the whole day and enjoyed it all.

Allen Joshua

Such a good place to be in summer.

A Google User

Very nice activity to do with the whole family. Nice that you can drive through the park to feed the animals and afterwards you walk to see others. The park is very clean.
