The goats! OMG the goats.and so friendly. Those ostrich are shady AF though. Great zoo absolutely worth another family trip

Krystal Lastman

I visited this place back in 2002, my kids were 3 and 6. I Beleive we had a great time. Fast forward to 2019 my husband, 3 kids and I went and we had an amazing time. It was well worth the $50 for all 5 of us. I would definitely be interested in coming back, the lemurs are the cutest. Their hands are so soft

Great Zoo, nice experience especially for kids as their were lots of fun, interactive farm animals. The small area with games kids enjoyed a lot. Well maintained water splashes, it’s always over crowded by the kids they are really enjoying this place. Long weekends are really busy and weekends are not bad too, especially in the summer. Best time to visit is weekdays mornings. Parking lots are little bit tight here. They have good collection of animals, the reptiles area is not clean and smells bad. The food shops here is bit expensive and quantity was also less. Overall a nice place to visit with kids.

I identified myself as a support person for an individual in the car with disabilities and even provided the Access 2 card. I was told they don't accept the card. I asked if they followed the Ontario Disability Act and the person at the gate said 'no' and charged me full admission price. My last visit two years ago, they acknowledged me as a support person.

Wanted to give this a go despite the unbalanced reviews. I'm no animal activist and love seeing animals despite them being in captivity (judge me how you wish). However I will not be going back. While the play and picnic area are great, the zoo itself needs a lot of work. The cages are small, and while not all of them are terrible, the monkey cages were very dirty and almost unbearable to stand next to. The one was actually pulling and banging on the cage like it wanted out and looked angry. I felt bad for the bald Eagles, they had barely enough room to stretch out their wings. The one horse in the car back had hooves that looked very overgrown. Also there was no staff to be found outside of the food and gift shops. Just before we left we saw one guy emptying garbage. Perhaps if there were more staff to watch visitors, you wouldn't need signs like "Don't throw rocks at the animals". Seriously? Certainly lots of variety and makes for a decent day, but I would bet if they were inspected many issues would be found. We took a lot of pictures and will be sending a few to the SPCA. The price was good and the day was alright but I truly believe if you can't offer proper habitats for all the species then only carry the ones you can provide a quality life to.

Alana Byrdie

Our whole family absolutely enjoys this lovely zoo

Peggy Babcock

Awesome place. The gang and I loved it today.

stephanie Williams

I hate hearing about how a monkey got out of it's cage and died from another animal and the pain it was in, I don't like seeing animals heads stuck in fenses and I didn't like seeing how small some of the cages were . Specially for the different types of monkeys , lions ,birds and reptiles....

MJ

Went end of season, not so warm, animals seem more active; plus no packing crowds of people to try to look over.

Chris Gignac

We really enjoy Greenview Aviaries and have been going with our children for the last 8 years. They take excellent care of all their animals and facilities and provide a great compliment of domesticated and wild animals for people to see up close. Plus the Shakespearan Village and splash pad are always fun too!

Bob Devine

Great place for the kids. Lots of animals and birds. You can feed a number of animals and pet them too.

Matt Trout

A must for families! Love the variety and size of the place. Lots to see and do! Make sure you buy the food to feed the animals. Love all the picnic spots to eat your own food!

Phillip Dinis

There are some very small enclosures. Saw a mid-sized cat pacing back and forth, a tortoise pushing up the length of a fence trying to escape, and reptiles left in a bucket-sized aquarium. These road-side zoos need to be properly regulated or closed.

A. Camm

Always worth the trip every summer. My kids love the play area after the animals. The food is very reasonably priced or bring your own.

Tasha Barwise

Water park is small but amazing zoo and picnic area and play areas!! And clean

Joel Nicholson

My daughter had a blast!

Kris Sybers

As much as I don't like seeing animals caged up, this little aviaries/zoo is a great interactive place for adults and kids. Most of the exhibits are open (except the obvious tigers, lions, bears, etc), meaning it's easy to feed, pet or play with the animals. The baby goats like to excape and they are so adorable! For all the interactions, play areas for the kids, and all the animals you see its well worth the day trip to Greenview.

Ali Taherian

Very nice place for kids and families

Stéphanie

Well was looking forward to going today since many reviews were great, however my husband and I had some serious safety concerns once we approached the lions/tigers/bear cages. Literally the cages these animals were in could have been jumped by them at any point in time, we could barely stand being there once we saw this. The only thing that we could think is keeping those animals in there is they must be sedated, theres no other way. The kids had fun but not going back in this lifetime I'm sorry to say.

Emily Nicholls

I was appalled at some animal enclosures. They were so small and dirty. No animal deserves to live in a cage like that. Some of them were pacing anxiously. We also saw a chicken drink from a bucket with cleaning chemicals in it (we had to move it so it would stop). The park is archaic and needs renovating. If you bring your children here, perhaps try to teach them empathy and how not to treat animals? Or just don't go.

Jim Jimerson

Kids loved it reasonable prices would be cool to see the animals being feed

Tayler Phillips

Really nice place. Lots of animals! My daughter loved it and we'll definitely go again.

Jim MacQueen

Amazing. Lots of animals, birds & reptiles to see. Excellent play area with climbing, swinging equipment, splash pad with change/washrooms, children's zip-lines, activity areas. Child sized Shakespearean village to walk through. Pricy, but worth the costs if you stay for the afternoon or day! Restaurant & snack/souvenir shops are typically pricey. Recommend & facilities to bring a picnic lunch!

Sylwia Pietrzyk

I was surprised how big this place was. Super fun. Lots of animals.

Ashley Crawford

Great place to go. Lots of things to do. Zip lining, splash pad, restaurant, animals.. lots and lots of animals . And of course a huge area for playing with various different equipment. Always something fun for the kids to have a good day! Could possibly add more shelter from sun or rain near the animal exhibits.

Michelle Breukelman

Great for kids!! Playground/zipline/spashpad is a hit, and it's small enough to see everything without wiping out the kids, but big enough to have some cool animals. Miss having the loose baby goats though! ????

Cosmin Muresan

Awesome place to bring the kids

pink frog hair salon hair salon

Always great fun for the family

Sonja Minder

Awesome place for people of all ages. Lots of animals to pet, great play area for kids.

Debajyoti Dash

Animal's in very cramped cages, so cruel. Saw people actually feeding biscuits and what not to the gullible monkeys !! And the food they sell to feed the animals are actually being fed to all animals, which kind of surprised me. Goats, ducks, monkeys, pigs all eating the same thing??? In any case good place for small kids, nice playing area and chance to see animals up close unlike the big zoo's.

Museboyina Gangadhararao

Very nice place for weekend visits

Jenny Daley

It was a awsome place for the kids

DLA Webb

I can't believe people are giving this "petting zoo" a 5 star, it's disgusting... the animals live in fifth, they are fed the cheapest possible food! Their birds need to see medical, if you knew anything about birds you would know that if a bird is not getting proper care they pluck! Many of those parrots are particularly bald! Animals don't have proper shelters, and food! Enclosures are unsafe for both animals with holes in fences, so unsupervised children can poke animals and risk getting bit! This is just to name a few things! So yeah if all you care about is the cost then perfect! Otherwise shut this place down!!! This place doesn't care about animal welfare! The animals look sad and starving! And I was here July13 2019!

Sheryl Crawley

Lots of walking, you can purchase food but long wait times, if u have little ones bring your own wagon or stroller as the have maybe 10 wagons for alot of little ones! Bring change to buy food for animals. Playground and water park are a big hit after you walk around and see the animals.

Emma M

Cute zoo, everyone is super friendly. Large cats in my opinion need bigger cages but other than that it's fantastic. My 3 year old had the most incredible day

Shannon Shurgold

Wonderful day at Greenview Aviaries. Prices are great, and we got to see all of the animals. It really is a whole day of fun and lots of parks and splash pad for the kids.

Annie Gunn

Was a terribly hot day and the animals did not look well cared for in such temperatures. Alot of the visitors were treating the animals poorly as well. And I don't mean the children visitors..I mean the adult ones.

Jon Brown

Love it here! Better than Detroit Zoo!

Renata Almeida de Sá

Nice place to spend an family day... my little ones loved it!!! Bring your picnic and have fun!!

Krissy P

Loved the animals especially the baby goats, baby lemurs oh and the wee monkey that was nursing. My grandkids loved the zipline n the water park. I'd really like to go again. Enjoyed my time there

Madeleine Wilson

What a surprise. There was so much more than meets the eye. We had the best day, from exploring the fun animals, playing on the many playgrounds, cooling down on the splash pad, to eating under the picnic area, this was a must see for any family!! Go and enjoy.

Dennis Quesnel

Great selection of animals to view & lots of fun things to do for the kids. There is also a delicious little food spot near the entrance so need to pack a lunch when spending a day there.

M D

5 Stars Lost a star for their concession stand for food. It's not the worst and it's pretty fast even when it's super busy with a line... but some items are gross. Don't get the pizza. View other reviews and pictures...It's a little zoo I'd definitely recommend :)

A Hutchins

Good place for kids but the animals sould have bigger areas if they are gonna be kept in captivity.

Daryl Amundson

Great little place to take the family for a day trip. Lots of picnic areas, open spaces and play equipment for the kids. Splash pad to cool off is basic but adequate, as it is not the main attraction. Many different types of animals, reptiles and birds to see including some you wouldnt expect, like white tigers. Animals look well cared for and cages are clean and kept up well. Shakespearean village and some other park features are looking a little run down, but still nice to see and use. Good little snack bar/restaurant and all reasonably priced, especially the entry fee.

Mansoor Ali

Good for family

Wallace Coleman

Awesome time for us and the kids. Very clean, lots to do and great food!

8ppex Alien

Another jewel for our region. Make a day of it. Thank me later

Jayden Lynn

Best place to take the family lots of animals huge huge play areas picnic areas splash pad ball pits zip line good food. My family goes at least 3 4 times in a summer

Kat D (AuroraTitan)

I never want to return here EVER. Animals look absolutely horrible and depressed, birds are plucking out their own feathers, small cramped enclosures especially for the larger animals. I only went once because my daughter's paternal grandmother insisted we go because "her kids went here too". My heart broke for all the animals that are cooped up and going insane from lack of stimulation and contact. They do not care about the animals. The worst thing for me to see was the Costa Rican Coatis, I had the amazing privellage to experience these adorable creatures in the wild in their native environment. Seeing the two-three they had in the smallest cages ever just destroyed me. All I wanted to do was break the cafes open and fly them back home. Please don't support these people. The cheap price of admission only reflects the cheap amount of care they provide to all these animals.

Ramesh Krishna Kumar Rema

Reasonable pricing, Good for a day visit :-)

Jolanta Janiszewska

Nice place to go

I Have recently been to the facility and seen the enclosures and looked appropriately sized for the animals. As far as the so called animal cruelty and such that folks are claiming, do you have proof ie: pictures? and unless your a vet or a subject matter expert then you don't know what your talking about. Animals in the wild don't have the luxury of VET care and I saw that these animals are cared of a baby miniature goat with recovering from an injured leg. Obese rabbits! Have you not heard of a Flemish rabbit before?

Melissa Duchene

Make sure to bring your own carrots, grains, cheerios for the animals.

Alyssa Belliveau

Good place to go with family, lots of animals to see. I've been going since I was 9.

Shailja Thakur

It is a must visit. Really interactive zoo and amazing for kids!!

Duane Bromfield

I'm from Toronto and this was the best zoo experience I have ever experienced! The animals are super active!

Sandra Hughes

Great place lots to do and see

Daniel Claeys

Very enjoyable animals seem as happy as they could be. Awesome playground for the kids plan to spend a day there next time around.

Julie Lafontaine

Love love love this place! Tons to do for kids. You got playgrounds ,sandboxes, splash pads, ziplines, the zoo.. theres picnic areas, coal bbq, or u can buy food at the store.

Natalie

This place is amazing they do have bbqs still when I was here loved it so much

Claire Penny

Great family park, clean and fairly well kept. The animals seem content. Reasonably priced entry. Ample parking. Pack a picnic lunch, swimsuits, sunblock, and spend the entire day exhausting the kiddos and you can have a nice quiet evening.

Mitchy Daily

Always a great time

james mitchell

Good value but some of the animals looked stressed. Especially some of the birds. The miniature village also looks like it was ransacked by marauders.

Sigma Delta

A great selection of animals, including 3 lions, tigers, zebras, besides thr goats and donkeys... great play area for kids, including a large splash pad

Paul Dombowsky

Great place to bring kids but not all animals seem to be happy or be house in comfortable surroundings. Staff is friendly and helpful. Washrooms could be a bit cleaner.

Ann “Bella Ann” Abe

Great place to spend time with kids. Parking is expected to be difficult on weekends though.

Gustavo Molero

The best place to share with your family

S. Mohammad

It's a nice park, playground and splashpad. My daughter really enjoyed the animals but some of the enclosures did look a bit small. The Shakespeare garden needs some work as well, you can tell it's very old.

Daniel “Double D to the K” Koziara

Good time.

mphatso mlotha

Great place so many activities to do and animals to see! Extremely affordable!

T Maure

Really enjoyed ourselves but a lot of stuff was really old or broken. The playground and splash pad was good. Overall a nice way to spend the day.

Steve P

Great little place to break up a boring week. Or spice things up with your kids. I'll be going back that's for sure The food there isn't amazing, but it's enough to calm an angry belly

Michael Dow

Great place for families. Many more animals then expected. Great splash pad and playgrounds for kids.

David Torres

Great place to spend with the kids, animal areas area a bit run down tho and could use more attention.

Ron Hampson

I had no idea this gem of a place existed in Southwestern Ontario. We took our kids and grandkids there for an outing and were very delighted with the experience. Will definitely take them there again.

Christina Noble

Great for families, especially those with younger children. Lots to do, never a dull moment!

Lyss Bea

Interesting to see the animals but the cages are dirty and enclosures seem too small for the kind of exotic animals in them. It is sad. I would not go again or reccomend it to a friend. They have a huge playing area and splash pad for children outside the animal enclosures area so it is nice for families in that regard.

Wayne Westfall

Great family experience. Feeding animals, playground and splash pad.

Laurie McNeil

Kids love it. Great for a day trip..includes zoo and play park with mini zip line. There is also a splash pad for the kids. Light food, ice cream etc at reasonable prices. Admittance to the zoo is very reasonable. Free parking. Visited in a hot day and felt bad that some of the animals didn't have water. That was a concern to me. Large variety of animals

Chelsea Viselli

In the last two weeks I have attended Greenview Aviaries twice. BOTH times I have gone there I have noticed the inadequate living conditions especially for the exotic birds but for all the animals as well. Particularly their cockatoos, they had one locked up in a small cage by itself, this bird had no interaction with other birds and was clearly in distress. This poor bird was picking his own feathers and rocking back in forth. This particular bird cage had wires wide enough for people to constantly be poking at the bird. It was an extremely unsettling experience. As its widely known, these exotic birds fly miles a day and need if they MUST be in captivity they need to have adequate space to fly. I also noticed that these birds had no toys for stimulation, just a couple of robes. These birds are extremely intelligent and need to be stimulated by either one on one human interaction or with toys. Greenview Aviaries does NOT care about their animals and does NOT provide them with the adequate care and maintenance they need. The bird cages are also extremely dirty, they do the absolute bare minimum to be able to stay in business. They also have two beautiful bald eagles in captivity, in such a small area where they are only able to fly approx 10 ft back and forth. They have beautiful monkeys, lions, tigers etc shoved in small areas. Snakes in TINY enclosures, not even big enough for them to be at full length, they are curled in balls. Greenview Aviaries is an extreme disappointment for their lack of compassion towards these animals.

Amy Marynewich

Great place for little kids. Not too big, the can walk most of it. Lots of food options and the animals are very gentle for feeding.

Wendell Phipps

Beautiful place for all. Clean, open, and well kept place. Great assortment of animals and exotic birds and animals. Food available and park and ziplines for children. A great place for families, school, and church groups. Well worth the price for a day excursion.

Jason Pangowish

Loved it here, had lots of animals! The layout was great! My family had a wonderful time! Can't wait to go back again

Selena marie

Took my 7 month old daughter and her father there today for Father's Day I loved it had a lot of fun but DID NOT enjoy the fact that a lot of animals did NOT have water or even a bowl on the ground.. (Mind you weather was 37 today) Also seen a lot of animals that need medical attention and to be groomed everyday and taken care of properly!! Needs to be more help out there! Poor babies

John Youssef

They need to do better with the seasonal work. Things need painting ie the animal statues you can take pictures with..the look unmaintained and disgusting. The park equipment that's been there for ages need to be maintained or replaced. Overall the park is terrible and just as sad as some of the animals look in the cages.

Amanda Dew

Great place to bring ur kids. And just to have fun and see all the different animals. Brought our kids there August 8th and we had a blast. Thank u for everything.

Mahmud Hasan

Excellent for a day visit with kids of age 2 or above. They have a water splash mini park for kids play, good collection of animals and birds, plenty of parking and clean washroom. The only downside is you won't find a Tim/Mac nearby, the only option for food is their in park restaurant.

Lindsay Colman

.... I gave it five stars. But let's be honest this isn't a zoo. This is a caged facility. This will be nothing as considerate as the Detroit or tronto zoo.

sandi hrabek

My boyfriend and 2 nephews (2 years old and 5 years old) absolutely loved it. Animals were super friendly and actually would come up to us when we approached to be asked for lovings (petting) and very gentle when hand fed food.

Haley Cushman

Took my 7 year old sister today, she’s in a wheelchair. Despite the website saying “all areas are wheelchair accessible” on their home page, we found it to be incredibly difficult to get around as the pathways are made of rocks and gravel, and the playground definitely isn’t accessible. We also found some of the pens/cages to be incredibly small. The white lions and the eagles for example had no room to run or fly. The albino raccoons are situated directly underneath a set of stairs to a look out point so children were stomping right above their heads and they seemed very agitated and stressed out, they couldn’t get away from the noise and being naturally nocturnal I’m surprised the zoo chose to do this.

Lia Michelle

We had an excellent time here. We took our almost 2 year old twins. The splash pad and climbers are wonderful and we really enjoyed seeing the animals in the large open areas. I knocked a star off because the food is a tad pricey at the restaurant for what you get (but it was yummy!) and because the enclosures for the big cats, bears, or anything needing a full enclosure were really small. I know it's a big expense but I really think giving those animals more room would set this place above and beyond. Those animals need more space to roam around.

Dot Kelly (I.am.Dulcie)

It's a great place for young kids without a long day at a full sized zoo.

Omran Sheikh

An absolutely fabulous way to spend the day with family. We were lucky and witnessed all the lions growling and moaning. Wow, incredible! We were thoroughly surprised by how many animals there were. Worth the drive and everything else. Highly recommended.

Jess Anderson

Beautiful zoo, and lots of fun for kids. Splash pad, food, and parks, worth every cent of the entrance fee :)

Drake Edward

Great little zoo. Fun for all ages. Well maintained and admission is reasonable.

Melissa Lalonde

Super fun for kids and reasonable prices. Kids like spending more time in the splash pad and play areas then seeing the animals lol. Sometimes it looks like the animals aren’t as clean as they should be but I don’t run a zoo so I don’t know ????????‍♀️.

MAULIK PAREKH

It's great place for family with lil ones. There are so many things to do and see.

Jason Williams

That was a very pleasant day we spent here. We spent the whole day never pressed by the friendly staff in any way. Restaurant and brought picknick lunch. Playgrounds! Splash pad! Animal oh the selection! My kids learned so much. Great learning opportunity for them and us! We will return!

Im The Devil

This is my favorite zoo because it's so interactive and they have a great variety of cool animals to see. You're allowed to feed them and can get up close to all the animals (a lot of them you can even touch). I took off one star because I feel like the enclosures are too small for some of the animals and I feel bad for them but besides that it's a really great zoo.

maggem lewis

Always a great day out. Recommend going when the weather is a bit cooler. The animals are much more active. Reasonable admission. Plenty of picnic space.

Samantha

What a unique opportunity to see wild animals up close and properly taken care of.

Patricia Brooks

Great place, lots of things for kids to do, picnic area and animals look well taken care of

Corina Salinas

Nice play to enjoy with the whole family. It has a playground area with splash pad gir children.

Amanda Seguin

Always a great time at greenview. Wide variety of animals and my kids love the splash pad to cool off

Alexandru Felvinti

Great place to pet and feed animals. Little ones will love it

The Murphunzios

Love this place.

lps fun

It was great not to many people, everyone had a good time.

C

Its a fun and in inexpensive way to spend a day. Prices are very good. And they have a splash pad. I go with my sister and our kids every year.

Amanda Szekeres

I would give it 5 stars because the concept is great. It's an amazing place to take the kids to spend the day with the playground, zip line, splash pad and picnic area. It also has a restaurant with your typical burger and fries; which was very good. They also have a big sand box with large trucks for the kids to play with but unfortunately this is where the 4 stars comes in. There was cat poop in it! I also found the animal enclosures less than adequate. They were very small and some didn't even resemble their natural habitat which made it a little sad to look at.

Sandra Hughes

Loved the animals especially the baby goats, baby lemurs oh and the wee monkey that was nursing. My grandkids loved the zipline n the water park. I'd really like to go again. Enjoyed my time there

Alexander Mattie

Very sad place with pour layout and no staff outside of restaurant.

Mary Neufeld

Its a nice place to have a picnic lunch and see the animals but" they have less animals than they used to

crystal tilley

It was so much fun to take kids here I loved all the animals there such a good mix of them. The kids loved it and the play ground and splash pad my son love love loves the zipline. Definitely recommend and will come back many more times

Jacbean Friesen

Good place for the whole family for a family reunion!

Manish C

Excellent place for kids with lots of fun. Clean, peaceful and scenic. Highly recommended.

Ada Yu

Very nice zoo that you can feed the most of animals. Wash room and changing rooms are clean. It's in the middle of corn field.

Ada Yu

The Boss

Great place for kids.

Andy Flelming

If you like watching animals going insane from being locked up this is the place. Well all zoos are like this.......did you ever wonder why a large cat or beat paces back and forth the way they do in cages? look it up. Zoos are horrible places.

Denny Vervaet

The kids loved it, we loved it. It's a CK gem!

Brian Wirbelauer

Great place to bring the family, especially if you like to feed the animals. Lot of play equipment for the kids, and plenty of places to sit and have a meal or snack.

angelcat38

The large animals should have bigger spaces and the reptiles too. And the cages are very dirty. It's animal cruelty. I am not going back because I do not support animal cruelty of any kind.

H L

We really missed this place. No matter how big kids get it's always fun. Right now it's an extra treat! The baby Lemurs are still quite small and able to run in and out of the enclosure!!! If you are still and don't grab at them, they will run right up to you. Go ahead and grab the large bag of feed. It will not go to waste, there are so many friendly creatures there. Absolutely love going there!

Damin Smith

Lovely variety of international animals in clean pens, open walking paths that allow for social distancing, the kids love seeing every species up front and in person to get a scale of size and majesty.

Alaura

This is a great place to take the kids. Animals to see, an awesome park to play in and a splash pad. Not too impressed with the animal conditions though in the sense of space... I noticed many other complaints about this. Is anyone complaining to authorities to make sure things are strictly monitored?? The big cats and monkeys and bears certainly seem sad ????. It here seemed more room for the wolves, but felt the same each way. Give them more room at least... And fresh water? Watched the staff dump more water into a VERY dirty water basin for the monkeys. This place is making a ton of money so they can afford it... Is a great opportunity for little ones but not at the expense of sad animals.

Stephanie Classic-Wright

This is an incredibly sad place for these amazing animal/reptiles. Many are kept in extremely small enclosures for there species. You can see how distressed and sad they are. It is simply not ok, not fair and is extremely cruel that wild animals are put on display in these conditions for financial gain. It is a puzzle to me how they have stayed open for so long. For those of you who have any empathy, take a trip there, I assure you, you will be saddened beyond belief and will never go again. I've attended numerous Zoo's and animal sanctuarys and have never seen animals so stressed and sad because of their living conditions like they are at Greenview. Do some research and you will see there have been many investigations, and complaints. How they get away with not being closed I will never understand, except that it must have something to do with the almighty dollar. Parents who attend with your children, give your head a shake. What on earth are you teaching them??

Shawn Roy

Fantastic day stop for the entire family!

Michael Vroom

Great place to take the family. Friendly staff, splash pad, well equipped park, food options available on site. My boys and I enjoyed it.

Christine Mcelrath

I was so sad when I went here with my kids I remver going on field trip as a child. The enclosures are so small and filthy. They have multiple large animals in one small space. It was dirty and disgusting. I wanted to free the animals. The monkeys seem crazy. The walking paths were a mess. My kids even noticed it they kept asking if the animals were sad. People who like this place must never have been to a real zoo. This place needs to shut down. I'm glad I do not live nearby I know a lot of field trips happen here and I will never spend a dollar again #freegreenviewavieries

Weston Phillips

Kids had a good time with the zoo, park was a bonus.

Abby Omerovic

The splash bad and playground is great. I do feel bad for some of the animals

Michael Gigliotti

Lots to see and good pricing. Very kid friendly! Stayed at Rondeau PP and came to the zoo for the day.

Erik Peña

Nice family place. I little bit of care wouldn't hurt anyone.

Nabiha Khalek

Kids had a blast between feeding animals, splash pad, and park

Jenny Watson-Lawrence

I absolutely love this place! I went here as a kid. I remember the marmosets. (Small monkeys) Now they have many more beautiful creatures to view and explore! Plus there is a restaurant, gift shop, play equipment and splash pad for kids to play. The team really takes good care of every animal. All look very healthy and clean enclosures! Highly recommended! I've went here every year for almost 33 years sometimes twice a year.

Lucas Irvine

Great place for kids and families. Awesome way to see animals up-close although the cages are exceptionally small.

Romy Li

This is where our family visits every summer. My children come here to feed sheep every year. There are not only lots of animals here, but also many activities suitable for kids, such as splash pad, ziplines, and playground. Compared to the Toronto Zoo, I think the size of this park is more suitable for my children, they won't feel very tired after walking around.

Serge Ecoiffier

Nice park for the kids to see many animals and even interact with some (feed, pet, ...) Swings, sand box, large splash area for all kids to cool down, ... and even a zipline ! Wagons are available ($) to help transport kids and items Quick serve restaurant for a snack if you didn't bring anything Make it an all day outing or at spend just a few hours. It is 15$ per adult ...

venus-lee비너스패밀리

It is a great place for family.

Definitely a good local attraction. Private owned, variety of animals is huge, most animals looked healthy and happy. Tough seeing them caged at any zoo

Samantha PT

A very nice place for the kids to play. Animal area is also nice. I would think for the cost, they could atleast hire someone to clean the bathrooms and change the garbages. We were here from 10am until 330pm. We used the restrooms right when we arrived (one hour after opening) and they looked and smelled as if they had been in use for a full day. The garbages were so overflowed by the time we left that we couldn't even put anything else in. Overall I think it's very expensive for what you get. It was $65 for two adults and three 7 year olds. I would suggest a car full rate or a family rate.

David A. Wagner

I could not stand to see such large cats in such a small space where the only thing they could do was sleep on a big wood spool left over from the electric company. The smell on a hot summer day was a little overwhelming. The monkeys were kept in a cage that should have been three times higher so they could swing and have fun. We wanted to check it out before bringing out of town quests to the place. We will not go back! The houses from Shakespeare times in miniature we sadly lacking in upkeep and were falling to pieces due to weather and time. It has so much potential but lots needs to be done to make it a real draw. We wanted to make the decision for ourselves about the place and not base it upon people who love it and those who did not. Best part of the day was stopping in Blenheim at the golf course for something to eat on the way back to Windsor.

Heather MacDonell

It was fun and my toddler loved seeing all the animals and it was not super big so it was not overwhelming for my little one.

Henry Martens

Great inexpensive place to go on a family trip. Lots of animals to see and lots of things to do for children.

Dustin Hewson

Staying safe right with their social distancing. Perfect place to go right now.

Elisabeth Cheng

A thrill for kids - our toddler made friends with some of the baby goats running around, after having been terrified of animals up close. She's still talking about her experience at Greenview Aviaries, and we'll be back, for sure! Beautiful exotic animals, but for us, it was the close up experiences that sealed the deal.

Anthony Sitko

Can't believe we just discovered this excellent family venue. The zoo is diverse with many exotic animals such as lions, tigers, bears (oh my!), wolves, kangaroos, ostriches, eagles, reptiles, etc. You are able to get much closer to the animals than at bigger zoos. It's missing the big animals like elephants, hippos, giraffes but we didn't feel the experience suffered. The splash pad, playground and zipline are worth the price of admission on their own. Coming from London, it's just over an hour of easy driving with no traffic. Compared to the Toronto Zoo, that is a massive difference (especially when you factor in traffic). Admission is also much cheaper. Our family had a blast and will be returning regularly.

Harinder sidhu

Although my kid had good time, but We were so disappointed to see most of the animals in miserable condition where their cages were way too small.

Jade McKenzie

Lots of different animal's can also feed them, take pictures etc. Food and Ice cream and Wagin rentals for the kiddos

Seth Thomas

Very well kept and lots of space for walking. Food is also pretty good too

Glen Woodbridge

Fun for the kids, lots to do, animals don't look super happy

Jenn Carpenter

You could spend the whole day there. There's the animals everyone could see, a playground for the kids, a splash pad and a Shakespeare Village. Also there's barbeque areas or a little restaurant.

Phally Lun

Small size zoo was perfect for our girls who were aged 4 and 1. Easily walkable. Enough animals to keep them happy. Definitely pick up a bucket of animal feed as everybody enjoyed feeding the animals.

Pavel Jouza

Worth seing.

TVR

Great Zoo, nice experience especially for kids as their were lots of fun, interactive farm animals. The small area with games kids enjoyed a lot. …

Nathan Kelly

Was a whole lot of fun for the family to watch our 14 month old run around and point at everything. He loved the animals and the park! We fed goats, ostrich, pigs and got to see so many more animals! I would definitely come out again. The restaurant did a great job and very quick with the food. Things are well priced and you can have a great time with any ages. Splash park could be bigger. It's very very congested. Aside from that absolutely great job.

Jake Moroun

I used to go to Greenview regularly when I was younger. I decided to take my daughter last year for her first time and she thoroughly enjoyed it, lots of animals to see and many of which you can pet and feed. Not your typical zoo by any means in terms of size or the types of animals that you see. While there are your go-to's like lions, tigers, bears, etc. there are lots of other less conventional zoo animals like bison, deer, horses, donkeys, ostriches, and more. As with any zoo it can be hit or miss on how active the animals are and how many you will actually see due to heat. After you're done with the zoo there are tons of great activities for kids including a small zip-line, splash pad, tether ball, basketball courts, jungle gyms, sand boxes, ball pits and more. There is also a mini Shakespeare themed village surrounding a little pond that is kind of cool to check out but it has certainly take a bit of a beating over the years. We took my daughter again this past weekend during the Covid-19 pandemic and again everything was great. We just went for a couple of hours to do one quick loop around the zoo. As always everything was great, social distancing protocols were enforced as much as they could be. Greenview is truly a great, fairly inexpensive day-trip/activity that the whole family can enjoy. Bring your own food or purchase from their on-site restaurant. There are wagon rentals if you need it and animal food for purchase, however you can also bring food to feed animals, I believe you are allowed to feed the animals, cheerios, froot loops, and fruit. Last year we brought a banana and fed the ring tailed lemurs, this year we just brought some cheerios and cut up apples for my daughter to feed to the animals which she absolutely loved.

Chris Viger

Great price for a full day of fun for the family. Also, it seems that the animals are well cared for and the property is very clean and welcoming. Such a great place to take the family in summer.

Hailey MacMillan

This zoo is perfect for the kids, as there isn't a ton of walking. I do wish the animals had bigger, easier to see through enclosures though.

Vishnu Talasani

Shutdown this dam zoo. Voilation of Animal rights.

Alia “Food for thought”

Lots of animals for kids to see. Playground is nice and kids really enjoyed it. There's also a splashpad for when it gets hot. Would go back for sure.

Dresden Diamonds

Location is closed. Owner should understand that they are causing huge time waste to the people. Time should be updated on google. They own it on google as well and there emails are attached to it. So it should be also updated.

Kuldeep Mummidisetty

Quiet surprised by the number of animals they have. Good place for kids. The farm animals are adorable. Do yourself a favour and don't go when it's cloudy/windy/rainy.

sam richardson

this place is a treasure. great place for families

Katlyn Desjardins

A great place for a day trip and a picnic

Maralee Clark

I was just there and was beyond disappointed at the living conditions of these animals. Most are cooped up and are very sad/dejected. Many are pacing as they have very limited space. My 11 year old asked if we could leave and we did. I'm disappointed that I even went there in the beginning as I cannot get this place out of my mind nor the amount of people who it doesn't seem to bother. It was also very difficult to find any staff there. Terrible!

Dave McPherson (DrogoHamwich)

Really enjoyed my time, except there were 100s of people not wearing masks or carrying any hand sanitizer using the play equipment and walking around.

Gary Jr

The playground was awesome but the park was unsafe. The lions were in an enclosure with way too short of fences. The bears did not look good and there wasn't much seperating us from them. We did not feel safe and left soon after we arrived. We didn't feel like it was worth seeing anymore with our two year old daughter. Especially after seeing the lions growl and pace back and forth with next to nothing stopping them from getting out. We will not return.

Samantha Kereliuk

Definitely a fun place to bring younger kids. The playgrounds and splash pad are new and beautiful, and well maintained. You are able to feed many of the animals in the zoo, which is especially fun for young ones. However, on the other side of the zoo there are lions, tigers, and a bear who are all in what seem like very small cages for their sizes/number of animals in the cage. There was also no apparent shelter for these animals come winter. The zoo does close mid October, so there may be off site housing but there did not appear to be anything on site for these animals.

Carli Lamb

If I could rate this place lower I definitely would. Disgusting how small your cages are for the animals. Tigers looovve to swim and there is no access to any swimming in their exhibit. It's disgusting. I don't even want to get into more details, it's just so upsetting to see the way animals are treated here. Parents learn to start educating your children to be kind to animals, not to scream or throw rocks at them to get their attention.

Saumil Shah

Good place with splash pads and picnic areas with lots of activities for kids. Very unhappy and sad seeing animals in very little enclosure and poor fencing. Specially lions and tigers. A white 1 year old lion was in such a small cage that not even monkeys can stay in that. Caimans were in a poorly tight space too. Wish there were more arrangements for Animals to cool off during this crazy summer days. Lots of varieties of animals but i wish they kept little less with big cages so animals can roam around.

Zayn Farhat

It's amazing how they manage to fit so many child-friendly activities in a small area!

Elin Bright

Great zoo to visit many different kinds of animals. My only concern was a very skinny horse out in the field. All the other horses looked healthy, good weights and we'll taken care of, so I assume this one may be older, or difficulties eating? All the other animals seemed very content and we'll taken care of. My only other complaint is the number of wasps swarming the zoo and inside the indoor cafeteria. This was a bit nerve racking with small children.

ALEXANDER MCLEAN

Great fun for the kids and family. Lots of unique animals in the zoo.

Dante Sapuay

The place needs renovation.

Josh Novak

Animals need WAY bigger homes than this place provides. Pretty depressing. Baboons seemed miserable.

Howie B Print III

Needs to work on a smoking place for smokers......when I was there people were smoking right at the play area for the kids. My daughter and my wife are allgenic people....be respectful and go 50 ft away from the kids.....had a great day but those people smoking at the play area risen the day for me

Moezzam Alvi

A must visit place if you are in Morpeth, Ontario. We went there with very little expectations and were pleasantly surprised how nice this private zoo is. The zoo provides a fun family outing. The entry price of $15.00 for an adult and $11.00 for children between the ages of 4-15 was very reasonable. Lot of parking space, picnic areas, splash-pad for children and the hidden gem is a miniature village which should not be missed. Unlike many other zoo's, this zoo allows you to bring your own food to feed yourself and animals. Animals are in close proximity so you get to enjoy closer view.

Bethany

Great little gem! I was suprised at the variety of animals, but I will say there are a lot of monkeys and goats!

Leah Cressman

This place is amazing! Impressive animals, fun to explore, great playground, lots of picnic space and friendly staff. Next time we'll make an entire day of it. We'd highly recommend and will be back!

Ryan Doom

Great times at Greenview Aviaries! This was a child memory of my own and am so thankful that I can bring my daughter there to enjoy the lasting memories as well. It was a bit crowded, but a lot for all ages to enjoy. Pack a lunch and enjoy the pavilions.

Chris Munday

Amazing picnic and playground stuff for kids. Some of the habitats for the animals could probably be improved a little though.

K W

Took my 3 year old today and he loved all the animals! It was awesome they had a great playground and splash pad too! We will for sure be back.

marko cutic

Remembered coming here 20+ years ago when I was a kid and enjoying it so decided to go with my family today. The splash pad and park area for the kids was nice but the “zoo” part of this place was actually traumatizing. Full grown lions and tigers in TINY enclosures that aren’t suitable for a dog let alone big cats. Everything was very sad. These animals need help.

Ettolla Johnson

Its great been their a few times now and it's a new experience pretty much every single time wasn't to crowded and they are keeping to covid guidelines well

Mike Lavallee (Hollywood)

Awesome park. You can take your kids there for a picnic even bbq. You can also walk through the park with a cold beer or coolers they sell at the restaurant .????there is also a wide variety of animals which was cool to see

Coleman S

Not a bad place to spend the day without venturing too far from Essex county. Lots of animals to see great for young ones.

jennifer crosby

The cages look compromised and on our last visit we felt the animals wouldn’t have to work hard to escape, felt unsafe and left early. The animals are not being cared for and fed or kept stimulated they are just sitting there. The miniature castle and manor area is over-grown and has not been kept up there are broken and missing pieces. The eating area could not be enjoyed as you were constantly shooing away a multitude of flies from your food. Customer service was very indifferent in their attitudes.

NICOLE BOWERS

Reasonable prices animals are amazing the huge playground is awsome andntheblittle spalsh pad the kids loved it....

steve cat

I love this place lots of animals and reptiles. Splash pad and play ground for the kids. Food and drinks are very affordable and you can even get served beer. You can also feed the animals and pet lots of them.

Zaina Sheikh

Fun zoo with a nice variety of animals

Tony James

Wonderful place to see very well kept animals. Fun for the whole family.

Rich Ng

Had a great time here with my 3 and 5 yr old girls. The splash pad and equipment were perfect for their age group. The zip line was perhaps a bit much for them, which could be improved if they added a seat, rather than just hanging on with hand grips. The girls had lots of fun checking out the animals too. Nice day trip

Stephanie Fallis

This was an amazing place to go to. I think some of these bad reviews forget these animals were saved. Rescued. Thats why some arnt in greatest shape but are taken care of very well. Its avgreat place to bring your kids

Jessica Marie F.

Lots of animals! Enjoyed seeing them up close.

Stephanie Laydilyke

Nice to see new baby animals.

Barry Murphy

Fantastic place to bring the family. It was nice to see the animals and the kids had a blast in the park and zip-line. Food was tasty and reasonably priced.

Karlie Henderson

This place is amazing! Impressive animals, fun to explore, great playground, lots of picnic space and friendly staff. Next time we'll make an entire day of it. We'd highly recommend and will be back!

lovish sharma

Very pleasant and helpful staff/crew so one star for that. Nice splash pad and activity area for kids..one star for that. The animals however are kept in tiny cages (peacock was kept in a cage so small that it could not even spread out it's wings properly, huge python kept in a cage which is like 2x4 feet) It was quite concerning looking at some birds and animals...you can clearly tell that they are distressed. They need to do something about this.

Richard Jansen

Cool space for family but they have really let this place go

Mack Cornell

Cages are extremely small. Animals seem to be quite depressed.

Donna Enns

Such a fun place for the whole family. Lots of animals, birds, reptiles and more!!! Food and icecream for a treat!!! And the were so friendly!!!

Dennis Quesnel

Great selection of animals to view & lots of fun things to do for the kids. There is also a delicious little food spot near the entrance so need to pack a lunch when spending a day there.

GTAHomeGuy

Missed the large cats side as we got rained out. But I see what some people are saying about small enclosures. Some of the animals look to be just existing. I think the playground was a very awesome part all the kids loved it and the zip line. Picnic lunch, which was great that you can go to an attraction and not need to pay for their food. I guess a lot of people objecting to the conditions might have merit, but not the whole place. Was worth the money in my opinion, kids loved it and got to see animals they hadn't seen up close before. We had ages 5-10 that liked it.

David

Not the best but welcome by school children there are surprisingly three white lions and two normal lions. There are also three tigers. That is great.

Karl Gingerich

Great zoo with all the animals, reptiles and birds you can think of...well OK, less a giraffe and panda - so there are some missing. Plus a great park/playground. You can rent wagons for kids. Buy food for feeding some of the animals - the small goats will be overly friendly ????. Overall an amazing place and worth a visit!

Veronica Marci

Its a wonderful place close to any where in Chatham-Kent to spend a great family day.

17R3W

Lots of fun for the whole family. A lot of interesting animals. They weren't especially active during my visit.

Deb Trudell

Nice place. More washrooms needed.

Tim Dew

Lots of animals, easy to spend an afternoon there. Just don't eat at Duffy's Bar & Grill. The price was fair, but the food was terrible

Paul Paterson

Fun times for the kids

Steve Botham

Lots of animals and not too too busy. Lots of shaded areas and lots for kids to do. My one and a half year old loved it.

Samma Smith

The zoo was great. The handfeeding of the animals is a great option and worth the $4 for the bucket of food. But, I would have definitely paid more to feed the animals better quality foods that better meet their dietary needs. Some of the exhibits are sparse and dull. The big cats and some monkeys definitely need better enclosures that stimulate and offer a great life. The Buffalo and wolf pack had so much land, but big cats were in smaller spaces. The handpainted signs definitely give off the cheap vibe that carries through the place. The restaurant is definitely lacking and we left to visit a place in Ridgetown. The village was so beat up that it was definitely not worth the time. I visited as a child and remember the village being colorful and well landscaped. The parks and splash pad were pretty we done. It is clear that Greenview is moving more towars the park feel than zoo.

Brittni Fournier

LOVE this little zoo. Perfect for small kids to enjoy some beautiful animals and st the end enjoy a small picnic and splash in the splash pad.

Heather Stronghill

Love this place can't wait to go back

natalie ann

My first time here at 38 years young. Brought my two boys and we loved it so much. It's amazing to see these beautiful animals you wouldn't get the chance to see in a lifetime. If it weren't for sanctuaries such as Greenview. As an animal lover, I am whole heartedly grateful for the love and safe home these animals reside in. Whoever maintains these beautiful creatures, I love you all. They have wagons available $3 with a $2 deposit. That was convenient. Only a 60 min car ride from Windsor. Enjoy, we absolutely did.

A Alhariri

It's a good place to visit. There are many activities that could do with your kids. My kids love this place.

Anna Lovanh

The bbq on site was a pretty cool & the picnic tables make it inviting for a day adventure with the kids. I love the options of throwing a birthday party, so many options. If my kids had a summer birthday it would definitely be here. There is a park structure, splash pad, swings, and much more. It wasn't overcrowded the prices were reasonable and yeah they are small animals but they had some bigger exotic ones too. It was a great variety and although my kids are young I still felt like they had a good time. I know I enjoyed my time spent. The trails are a bit confusing because it feels like it leads you in many directions but there is so much to see as well so it's worth the distraction. I definitely found something exciting for my kids and hope that my future visits are just as good as the years go on.

Romi H.

Love it! 5 Star!

Amanda Wilson

Very fun atmosphere, helpful staff, and almost all the animals seem happy. It's a great place to walk around to spend time with the animals, and take the time to watch them and mostly all of them will interact with you, too. It's a great place to spend a couple hours, either by yourself, with a friend, or with your family!

Having dutifully read, I expected to spend two hours there with my two girls ( 8 & 11 ) and still decided the entry fee would be worth it. The grounds are spacious, animal variety is beyond reproach, staff is friendly, everything is clean, lots of shade and sun areas, splash pad is great for little ones and even us older ones can run through to get a little respite from the heat. Ended up spending four hours there -- well above expectations. Good job.

Irving five

First of all, I am trying to keep an open mind, but I won't let my brains spill out. I have visited Greenview Aviaries on multiple occasions, throughout the years. Having worked at a major zoo, and a science center that has animals on display, I can point out a few flaws. Firstly, reptiles benefit greatly from UVB light. The reptiles here have none. This can lead to metabolic bone disease. Secondly, I always see the carnivorous animals being fed a poultry diet. Not sure if the diet is varieted, but they could use more red meat, game, etc. Thirdly, some of the enrichment in the animal's environments is at an all-time low. Last, but not least, fruit loops are a terrible idea for treats. I brought grapes and Romaine lettuce, and most of the animals relished that. I am not here to bash, just giving my observations over the years. I am sure that Greenview Aviaries are turning a profit, so some of these needs could be met.

Chris MacArthur

Love this place I go every year. I was great to see all the baby animals. It takes about 3 hours to see everything if your not in a hurry I highly recommend this for anyone with or without kids. And all ethnicities

Alisa Graves

A bit crowded on the playgrounds with kids. Good social distancing around the animals. Gift shop was closed today.

Donna Maccan

This is a fantastic place for children of all ages. Splash area, animals you can feed, picnic area and even take your own snacks. Reasonably priced and just a really good outing. We have been going here year after year its awesome!

Simone Slimaz Watts

Absolutely love this Zoo.. we went there for my son's 8th birthday and he loved it ... they have kangaroos.. flamingoes.. eagles, owls , deers, even a horse and a zebra mix ???? too many animals to name ... not too much walking , but very compacted with lots to see and enjoy They have a zip line and a splash pad and a small park area for the kids as well

Erik Brickman

A very good place to hang out during a hot day, and they are smaller and can easily get crowded but it is still a great place to come to during the spring and summer.

This Guy

Great place for all ages to have some fun with the family playgrounds for the kids water park area splash park and great animals

John Neudorf

To all you whiners out there; did you know that there are people who keep goldfish in bowls?! Some keep chickens in a coop, others keep hamsters and birds and turtles in a cage that's not even outdoors!! Others are so cruel as to keep dogs and cats inside for most of the day, sometimes waiting several hours before letting them outdoors into their natural habitat. In fact .. to my horror .. I even see some of these beautiful animals on a short leash no more than 5 or 6 feet long!! These, my friends are the real criminals! What a sick world we live in. Hope that helps your perspective a little all you pathetic little whiners.

Fatima Nasser

So much fun .. the place is big and sooo clean and there are many varieties of animals and birds

Fatima Nasser

Great for all ages! Lots of animals to see up close and personal!! Grand kids aged 2 & 4 loved it and the little ziplining!

Samantha Geauvreau-Twain

Great place, wear good shoes, path ways are dirt and rocks, splash pad for the kids and a park. Enjoyed it very much

Bryan M

I love the fact you can bring your own food and bbq it on their supplied bbqs.(bring charcoal). It's not cheap to get in, but you save from not having to buy food and drinks. There is a restaurant available if needed. It even serves alcohol. The zoo is awesome and you can feed any animal you want.

Melissa Johnson

Have a great time every year we come

Susy

The animals have no space and they all look depressed. And some of them have been pacing around at the same place for years or even their whole lives.

Krag S

Nice place with Lots of animals to see viewing spots are nice and close to see animals well.

Melissa K

Great local zoo! The animals are all pretty active. We brought our own cut up apples and gave them to the animals and they loved them!

TVR

Great Zoo, nice experience especially for kids as their were lots of fun, interactive farm animals. The small area with games kids enjoyed a lot. …

Kelly Cavener

Fun day at Avaries zoo. Small zoo with birds, lions, goats, zebras, monkeys and more. Splash pad was a big hit with the kids and play zone. 15.00 to get in and stay all day. Food can be bought or bring a picnic. Bbq available and yes they sell beer.

Aaron Desjardins

Lots of animals to see, from lions to tigers and even bears! Great outing for family. Splash pad, large number of playgrounds for children to enjoy outdoors. Lots of eating space both under pavilions and in the open.

Matt Mckegney

Had a blast all day. Great for picnic or you can buy food at a reasonable price. Very clean and the animals look cared for. Great value for price of admission so you can go back multiple times a year.

Robert Broom

Lots of fun. So many different animals

Jaclyn Bygrove

Animal habitats need to be updated. It's depressing how small some of the cages are. Kids play area is nice but that's about it.

Jason Currie

We knew the place wasn't CAZA or AZA accredited but friends had recommended it. We should have stuck with our instincts. The animals are all in cages that are much too small. They also sell food to give to the animals, which is always a red flag. One station sold Froot Loops to give to the primates.

Mr S

Great place to visit. There are many exhibits to explore, and a lot of animals to see.

Ryan Powell

Great place to take kids Especially in the summer on a cooler day when the animals aren’t too lazy from the heat. Bring your own lunch and have a picnic by the playground

Sparks Willfly

Me and my daughter had a wonderful time. Very much worth the price, the food was great. All was very reasonably priced and everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful.

J Dockrell

Great place to take the family. Lots of things to see and do. If you are in the area this is a must go place. Bring the kids the play area and splash pad is well worth checking out.

John Northey

Great place for kids. Animals are very accessible - easy to feed and appropriate warnings and safety areas. Play area a must at the end next to parking lot. I will go again

Travis O'Lear

Amazing place for kids. Well taken care of. Animals are all friendly and seem happy to be there.

Zahra Kavianpour

Amazing place. kids had so much fun. They sell big buckets of food for 5$ which I HIGHLY recommend if your kids are into feeding animals. Do take some food from home. Downside: the cages are a bit small

Geri Sutts

This is such an amazing place. I've been going for over 20 years bringing my school classes then my grandchildren. I try to go once every 2 years.

Jeffrey Cameron

Such an awesome daytrip! Lunch for 4 was $35 and the playground and zoo are really great

Andrew Godin

Had the hole family out party of 25 , very nice for the kids we had bbq spot and tables highly recommend

Nitro Networks

Great place for family outing lots of cool animals and nice that there's a splash pad and park area for kids to play

Chantelle Ferrari

The animals don't look well taken care of and their exhibits are far too small for them. Especially the lions and tigers. I don't understand how they are still open. These poor animals. I left in tears.

Ashley Labadie

I was disappointed at the zoo portion of the park. The animals were not kept in adequate spaces. They were missing both water and food in cages. Birds with feathers plucked out. Alot of pacing. The park was fantastic but the state of the animals was very disappointing.

Hafsa Adil Wali

It’s small zoo but worth visiting for people who live close by.

sargon khiyo

Great place for families to spend the whole day. Many interesting animals

MIRIAN FLORES

Nice place to spend time with my family.

Bilal Al-Ghazi

Nice place to take the kids on warm sunny days, payrge green area with barbeques and seating areas, nice big trees that create good shades in those nice summer sunny days. There are lots of fun activities for kids to enjoy, including mini-zipline, water play area, balls pool. Also the zoo area is very nice with wide range of animals. The Shakespeare house area also has some nice fairy-tale like houses. Bathrooms exist but they are not that clean.

Cassandra Roy

Great park and lots to do and see. Our kids had a great time.

Maher Abdallah

Very good farm ...pet friendly...good for kids in summer...very nice green park with ppq seats around...perfect for 6hours visit+

Mel Mitchell

Lots to do kids loved the splash pad. Priced Farley like to that we are able to pack picnic lunch or go to the little snack bar.

Edson Hideki Miike

Wonderful place.

Sarah Sclafani

The conditions of the animals are terrible. It is disgusting how small the enclosures are. This is animal cruelty and we won't be coming back. We are sorry that we put money into this place. It was also disgusting to see how the people visiting were treating rhw animals. They fed them their own food from home, including opening up sunflower seeds in their mouths and feeding to the animals. And so many kids and parents banging on the cages. We should have trusted our gut and stated home. When we asked where the animals go in the winter, we were told that many stay outside like the big cats.

Mike Lunn

Well I enjoyed see the animals but some of the cages were too small for them and it wasn't kept up all that great

AttackOnFullMetal

Need to provide bigger enclosers for certain animals. I remember the poor Tiger was basically in an area the size of my bed room and was pacing back and forth without any space. Along with the monkeys and some reptiles.

Stu Liedtke

A day away from the internet. Seriously turn your phone OFF and pack a lunch. Great day trip for Windsorites.

james gray

Very nice place to spend a day. The animals all looked happy and well looked after. Even on a scorcher like today was most of them were up and about.

Adam W.

Amazing, location right off of Highway 3. So much to see and everything is very easy to get to and just a real pleasure of a day being at this Zoo. Free parking, $15 per adult, my kids (2years and 6 months) were free and had a blast, my oldest loved the baby goats and the splash pad. Thank you Greenview! I will be returning , and bringing more people.

Love this place. It has everything to have a wonderful day with the kids.

Julie Anne Lewis

It was interactive, with a great variety of animals to visit, feed and a huge part to play on and a splash pad! Perfect for the kids- they didn't want to leave ????

Sandman0o

Good place.

Despicable. Truly. Even as I read through the previous reviews, you can feed any animal, which alone should speak volumes re the welfare and care of these beings: each animal should be provided it's respective diet based on education and respect for their species. Enclosures are inadequate to say the least, and during this heat wave, many animals were not provided shade/shelter or a clean, fresh water source. So many people have given it 5 stars due to a great splash pad and the fact that their restaurant serves alcohol - ARE YOU SERIOUS? If *that* is what ranks a zoo a 5-star, then I seriously question the morality of our society as a whole, that so many people are willing to overlook these obviously horrendous living conditions for elements that aren't even zoo related.

Good times

Reese Walsh

I have been going to this zoo every year for over 20 years. Lots of animals birds, monkeys, bear, lions, tigers and so much more that you can feed. You can buy animal feed there. $2 for small bag and $5 for large bag. There is also a large play area, splash pad and picnic area. I would recommend this zoo

Nathan Dowdell

Great park. Went on a rainy day and still had fun. 4 stars because the gravel made it hard to pull our wagon.

John Greene

Great staff, we'll cared for animals and always a great time. Cheap too which makes it great for a short trip out for the day.

susan king

Loved this place get to see animals close up. Can't wait to see them again

Serge Bratushchenko

awesome place to spend day off with kids and friends, lot of different animals and big well kept area, playgrounds for kids and bbq spots for adults

Marc Mitchell

Awesome zoo for the kids. The lions even talked to us. They have plenty of space with a splash pad and lots of play equipment. We'll definitely be back again.

Karlie Henderson

So many exotic animals and not too much walking. The lemurs are so friendly and the baby baboon was adorable. Our son loved it!

Peter Z.

Lots to do, admission price is fair enough. Tons of animals/ground to cover so plan your day. Wish they had a map of the grounds to help decide where to ago. Arrive early for decent parking! The miniature town is alright but only if you've seen everything else.

Lisa Hillier

Well taken care of park, some enclosures are small for the animals in them, some animals severely overweight like the donkeys. Not a bad day out but I wish the poor donkeys would get pulled out of reach of people randomly feeding them and put on a diet.

Kevin Davidson

Great place to bring the family, lots of animals to see, splash pad and huge playground as well, lots of places for a picnic lunch and the have a restaurant on site.

Nic Winkels

We all had a great time. It was a neat experience to see some of the exotic animals. Park and play area is very fun and the kids had a blast!

Jessica Woods

Well kept animals and alot of variety. Nice playgrounds and splash pads and the food was reasonably priced.

Jamie Gowan

Great place to spend the day with the family. Reasonably priced. Good food and entertainment for the kids.

Kristy Fraleigh

Awful. So run down, bathrooms were disgusting, poor animals in awful and small conditions. Will never return.

Michael Dudar

Had a great time with our grandchildren. We would recommend for families.

Jason Wright

During a pandemic like the one we are currently in places like this should be closed. My grandkids wanted to go so I took them. There was no social distancing whatsoever and no enforcement of it and kids were using the ziplines with no gloves on and no one sterlizing the handles the kids hang from either subjecting all those kids to potential infection. Thoroughly disappointed. The animals all look lethargic and longing for their natural habitats.

Chris Kovacs

It was a pretty good time. The donkeys and ducks were my favorite part.

Leslie Lumley

Yes, it's inexpensive. But if they charged more, they could invest in improvements such as larger enclosures for the cats and bears; larger and better environments for the reptiles (they were in terrariums which were much too small for their size, with few if any natural features, like branches for resting on); and care for the animals to keep them in tip-top condition, such as trimming hooves, treating skin conditions, etc. Shakespeareland is also in a sad state of disrepair. If you do go but would like to eat something beyond a simple grilled menu, bring a picnic lunch. Finally, the playground equipment looks from the 70s - quite rusty - the splashpad is nice, but the zip line looks a little unsafe - we saw a girl faceplant right after takeoff. With a little investment this zoo could be as nice as African Lion Safari, and it's only then that we'll return.

Lisa Mcrobbie

Well kinda expensive but lots to do and see, all new equipment scattered, and the zoo part is quiet large, kinda sad to see the animals all caged up but guess if you can't handle it, not a place to go... Bathrooms could use some updating pretty dirty there, picnic tables and pavilions are great to have picnics on, nice you can bring your own food

Joanne Guille

Those who own this animal torture chamber(s) should be shackled in the hot sun next to the big cats.....or in the tiny cage with the wolves. I am ashamed to think that we supported these 'people' to continue their cruelty. I WILL be sending a complaint to PETA and the SPCA. DO NOT GO HERE!! How they have not been shut down by now is unbelievable in this day and age. I feel certain that any 5 star comments are made by employees, the owners and their friends etc. to try to drag the ratings up. If I could figure out a way to rate this so called 'zoo' I would be rating MINUS FIVE!!

arnie small

EXCELLENT family zoo lots of things for the grandchildren to do

Brandon G

Great place for families and animal lovers. Variety of animals i have never seen before. Including a Zorse!

Emma Sue

Very cool selection of exotic and wild animals. Definitely an entire day-trip.

Jonathan Wiseman

Good place for smaller kids

Sommer Bowser

We love Greenview. The grounds are wonderful. There was plenty of space and the family had a great time. The enclosures could be bigger and better maintained for the animals but I think that can be said of any zoo.

Ron J

Good place for families but zoo although extensive, was very tired looking as well as the animals

Deborah Brittain

Zoo only needs to be closed. The animals are suffering. Also the Shakespearian minature village is in such disrepair. If insuffecient funds please remove.

Dawn Pickering

A fun day with kids! Lots to do in the park (just don't forget running shoes if the kiddies want to try the zip line or mangled toes result!), splashpad, etc. Zoo is okay, but some of the large animal enclosures seem small. Take a picnic!

Wayne Rigley

Just an absolutely amazing day and 25 acres full of animals

Bryan B

This is a pretty fun place to go. The park is where we hang out most...and splash pad is pretty awesome. The animals looked depressed...the bear, tigers are always sleeping. Some animals are locked up to cluttered in a cage. I'll stick with the park and splash pad.

Wanjiru Kiriri

Honestly we all go for the park not for the animals I've been there 3 times and the food made me sick I was there yesterday and there was hair in my food!!! They didn't even apologize for it smh... Nasty I'm never going there again ???????????? all she said was it wasn't my fault I didn't make the burger!!! The hell????????

Suzanne Pickard

A great selection of animals, including 3 lions, tigers, zebras, besides thr goats and donkeys... great play area for kids, including a large splash pad

Suzanne Pickard

Such a great place! We try and visit once a year! Clean! Friendly staff! Good food too! But best of all the animals are so well cared for! They are all in clean areas and in good health! And you can get so close to them! Way better than a larger zoo!

Frank vandenBoorn

Excellent little zoo and venue for all members of your family. Lots of parking, bbq area's and very well kept property! Splash pad and much more!

Tonya Clark

Cool little place to take the family. Onsite zoo, play ground, splash pad, picnic tables, and there is a little cafeteria like restaurant to order food.

Christopher Joseph Spiteri

Very nice grounds and the animals look well kept. Playground is maintained and has a good variety for the children.

Christopher Ross (rossgiftscom)

We stopped here by accident, or at the very least unexpectedly and couldn't have been happier that we came across it. I'll say off the bat that I think calling it an aviary is a misnomer, the park has an impressive aviary but that's 1% of the extraordinary grounds they've put together in this wonderful zoo. It's a very family friendly destination, the play park and water park are great for kids under 10, the climbing structures and zip line a great experience. There's ample space and facilities for cooking food on site, and picnic tables are abundant. The zoo is huge with a wonderful assortment of wildlife, close enough to be really appreciated and unlike the big city zoos ... affordable to visit. If I was to be critical of anything, I would encourage the park to have better signage for guests, but as we had an escape artist chicken that decided to join us on an otherwise self guided tour is was a great day and a wonderful experience.

Abe Dyck

Family friendly, relaxing and entertaining, had a great time and ice cream was really good too ????

James Woolcox

Great park, lots to do and very nice picnic area. Caged animals appeared to be well cared for and generally content Nice visit

Christopher Cooke

Highly recommended for families. A well maintained zoo with a large playground and splash pad, all for one affordable price. Picnicing is encouraged. If you buy food it is reasonably priced. This was our third time in four years.

jsean

Great for kids ! For a older group to go not so much my kids loved the animals

Travellizta N

Admission fare is reasonable. Plenty of space in the picnic area which is also near a splash pad and zip line for children. Lots of colourful animals. Although, the conditions/ space for the animals were questionable. There's a lot of space surrounding the area, yet a fair few of them were visibly depressed in being confined to practically a box. They have feed for purchase as well.

Nandhini M

Good place for spending a day with kids.. they have playground and splash pad where the kids enjoy the most.. Some animals are to be seen repeatedly in different places.. good number of animals and birds for the kids to watch and enjoy.. will visit again. Only one washroom for the entire zoo.. its would have been better if they keep it clean

Ernie Peters

Better than African lion safari as far as animals go. Has a small restaurant and ice scream shack and splash pad. Perfect for kids and families

Frank Emanuele

Our first experience was WONDERFUL! My 3 year old loved every minute of it. Well worth the drive, very reasonably priced entry and food options. Very personal experience with the animals. The only thing that didn't sit well with me was that people were bringing their OWN food to feed the animals. I saw families throwing sugary foods to the monkeys who of course gave the family quite the active display for more. Not cool - especially when you can purchase food to feed the animals at the entrance.

Sarah Rosen

We had a great time at the park! The animals were amazing and the park was really understanding about our therapy dog. We had so much fun interacting with the animals.

Mahmoud K

The price is very reasonable even though it's gone up recently and there is plenty to do for the whole family. There are quality animals here and I have never been with it being unbearably crowded. You could spend the whole day there or this last time we went, we spent 3 hours. Staff is always friendly and I have had no issues. I enjoy zoos but get why people don't. It would be nice if certain animals had larger enclosures or maybe even updated ones. Overall its a good way to spend some family time and a good opportunity for my son to see some of good favorite animals like a tiger, bear and lion.

tony monti

Had alot of fun. Lots to see and do

wes dominique

So much fun, and very reasonably priced. Great time with the family

Krista Taylor Rempel

An enjoyable visit. Lots to do to spend several hours enjoying the animals and the playground area.

K Hu

Best place ever. Pls sell sunscreen though

Gloria Doxtator

It's got lots of animals to see, Love that they have expanded their playground and added a splash pad. Wish they offered some kind of salad at food at food stand.

L.A A.T.J

Lots of fun, great that they have a splash pad, parks, picnics area and BBQ..

Adam Newton

Diverse animals and great playground! Good value for money. Some animals require larger space (monkeys, reptiles)

Kristy Savoie

We were looking for a place to take our daughter to celebrate her 4th birthday as a family. Greenview did NOT diaappoint. I was amazed at how much there was to do here outside of all the amazing and up close animal encounters she could/did have. The staff was so friendly and even though the gift shop was closed for low traffic someone came and opened it up for us so our birthday girl could have a souvenir. We couldnt have been happier with our day and AS SOON as we got in the car our daughter was asking to come back tomorrow.

Lijin Joy Bethel

Was just fine... One time visit when you are bored at home and nowhere else to go...

MOE A

This place needs to be shut down if no serious improvements are made. Horrible living conditions, smelly dirty cages, lack of organization. Random cage selection with inefficient use of space. 90% of the animals were extremely depressed and out of life. No workers to be seen. This place has a long way to go to be a proper zoo and needs serious inspection by authorities to keep operating

Inspectah Tech

Great place for kids and families! See animals and feed them! I would recommend for a family outing!

George Bueckert

Nothing ever really changes here you see the same thing over and over year after year.

Kijiji Knight

What amounted to a last minute decision to get a break from driving 6+ hrs. Decided to check out this cool hidden little day trip type of Zoo. Which indeed seemed pretty nice. Seen about 20% of the place coming across some Ostriches and Macaques before our short time allotment was done. Was just very surprised they wanted full price & its not exactly a bargain with less than 40 minutes till closing to go. C'mon that's not fair nor good business practice to have satisfied repeat customers. Very astonished by this no budging on the admission. Even the children charged full price for what was basically a $75+ ???? stop. Even an admission price break coupon on a future visit would've been nice. Hopefully, with our very brief visit & full contribution the animals are being fed & treated very well.

Sema Cetintas

Great fun for the kids, but not sure the animals are in ideal conditions. I was sorry to see many of them caged alone. Wouldn't go back only because of this :(

Hadi Safa

Good place for children

Danny Giroux

My daughter loves it here. Lots of beautiful similar to look at. Reasonable cost, friendly staff, and a large kids park to let them burn off some energy

Michael Masko

Lots of animals, some of them definitely didn't have enough room but most had some roaming space and seemed happy

Maddie Peach

Great place to bring your little ones. We had an absolute blast with the whole family. Definitely will be returning for zoo trips over the years :)

Shelby Forbes

Lovely small zoo, the animals are very well cared for and there is a variety in the animals you can go and see. The pricing is great and it's the perfect place to spend a spring or summer day at!

Chloe B

Lovely place to bring the family. Quite the impressive bunch of animals. Decently priced. Would highly recommend

Christie Harris

Ugh. I want to like this place but I just don't. I first visited in 2010 with my nieces. Due to the horrible condition of some of the animals and their enclosures, I said I'd NEVER go back. But here we are in 2018 and a lot of families i know rave about it so I decided to give it another chance with my own children. The property itself it a good size. Lots of parking and a little restaurant at the front with fast food type fare and ice cream. People are welcome to pack their own food and use the picnic areas, which is wonderful especially if you have a big family or special diet. There are rental wagons for a reasonable price. There are a few nice animal enclosures. A few. Not many are the appropriate for the animals in them (4 white lions share a tiny enclosure. One of the females had awful sores all over, particularly down her tail) There are some enclosures that literally look like they have NEVER, EVER been cleaned before. Every bird cage is absolutely disgusting!!! One example: there were 2 amazon parrots who had a dead mouse floating in their only water dish, which is on the floor of their enclosure filled with poop and rotten food. I can't even think about it without getting upset. People bring their own food for the animals. This is fun... I get it. People love to feed the animals BUT I watched people feeding things to exotic animals such as: Corn Pops, Hickory Sticks, bread, Doritos. It must make them sick!!!! This stuff is not even healthy for humans. If Greenview is going to let people bring their own food for the animals, they should at least TELL people what is okay and what NOT to feed them. Put a sign up! Fruits and veggies and things that would be in their natural diets! Shakespeare Land is in a sad state. A lot of the little buildings are in need of repair and a fresh coat of paint. The center does boast a nice little natural habitat for wildlife. Playground area is the ONLY reason my review is 3 stars instead of 1. There are some really nice, new playground structures here! There is a zip line for the kids. A fairly new splash pad is a great addition to the area! There is a little ball pit and the kids think it is a blast but it is quite shallow so beware that no one jumps in and thinks they are going to sink down into a soft landing. There is a hard wooden floor in there not even half way down. I think this place would be smart to start focusing on quality over quality and send a lot of the exoctic animals to zoos or sanctuaries that will care for them properly. Overall, there are some great things about Greenview Aviaries but they are sadly overshadowed by the bad and I highly doubt I will ever return.

Kimberly O'Dell Layton

Super fun place

Sophia Salvosa

Lots of AMAZING animals, great for little kids. But little to no supervision and not many choices for food, though they have good prices.

Md. Asadul Islam

Pretty good experience

M.C. Golds Detailing

My kids love coming here once a year to help feed animals. Great experience everytime.

Wissam H

Very nice place for the whole family. Even my elderly parents loved it, not just the kids.

Sonya Janisse

Good zoo, but the park shouldn't have had kids playing on the equipment in my opinion

mike ives

A great family friendly place . This place is all about the animals , the staff are friendly and my lunch was great !

Annette Lockstein

Perfect place to take little ones for up close view of the many animals

Melissa Hammond

I do love this place but no Covid restrictions and no one is social distancing. It was stressful to even walk through there. Kids area was so packed and every too close to each other. No one is monitoring the area at all. I will also say that the maintenance has gone down since the last time I was there. it used to be better maintained and there were barely any signs to say what everything was. If we weren't in a pandemic then maybe I would come back but I didnt feel safe being there. The bathrooms were disgusting and I felt I needed to sanitize my whole body after being in there. I only saw 2 staff people on site that was it. other then the people at the entrance and the souvenir shop

Bob Pajot

Kids had a great time. Food is always good and for a reasonable price.

Jamie-Lee Wagler

First time going, it was very cool, lots to see and the play area was fun for my little..a good display of the animals, and from what you can tell, they are being cared for well. Great value of your money. There were also lots of picnic tables, so you can enjoy food while you were there.

Sonja Marzo

We had a great time here! More animals than I expected and lots of seating. Bring a picnic for yourselves and some stale cheerios and or some soft apples for the animals. Fun little zip line, huge play ground, and splash pad for the kids. Money well spent! Highly recommend!

WHITESNIPED SWF4

Not really happy with how some of the animals are kept the snakes need a bigger tank too roam in its sad how big they are and the size they are kept in...

Derek E.

Great couldn't ask for more, more animals and broader variety than we expected. The price is very reasonable.

olivia escobar

Worse park ever! A lot of homeless tents around the park unsafe for children but very beautiful area. To bad.

ALVY4LIFE

Great place for the family

Dianne McComb

It's amazing how they manage to fit so many child-friendly activities in a small area!

LC Dyck

First time for ne and my kiddos. Wonderful place to play, see and feed animals. Very well thought out for children and even older kids.

Christine Ho

Wow! Our family wanted to see some animals, but we were not expecting such a great little zoo. The animals looked healthy and interacted with all the kids. Our little ones were able to feed all the animals up close. So many adorable goats!!! The play area was also a big hit! Lots of old school park activities like teeter totters and spinners. They even had a zip line and splash pad! Lots of fun for the whole family.

Ashurah Martin

Some of the animals looked a little unhappy. Think the big cats and monkeys need better habitats. The staff were nice, picnic area could use some upgrades, and the price for food is a bit high.

Tyler Wayne

It was alright but no one is following social distancing and half of the pens / cages are empty

Annette V

Some parts good. Nice to see animals. Wish they had better care

Sandra Hughes

Great place lots to do and see

Jake Klassen

Lots of animals to look at and pet, but beware the ostrich peck (bit my son). Reasonably priced too and a playground for the kids.

tony monti

Had alot of fun. Lots to see and do

Cap the Skulldog

Truly love this place. My 1 star short of 5 is because i feel the lions and tigers should have more natural space.

Carol Spencer

It was very fun I would recommend it to friends.

Diana Helli

Quite an amazing place. It's totally worth the drive. Lots of things for everyone to do. Very reasonably priced!

Vanessa Tome

Had a great time with my son, he very much enjoyed his visit here. I wasn't loving the living situations of the animals there, a lot of them were In enclosures far to small for them. Along with watching them get yelled at by passing kids who's parents have t taught there kids how to treat a live animal..its was frustrating for me to watch as an animal lover.would love to see better living situations for these animals!

Janine Shepherd

Such an awesome place to take the kids. Great variety of animals to see. Splash pad and playground.

Laurel Miller

DO NOT GO TO THIS ZOO UNLESS YOU SUPPORT THE NEGLECT AND ABUSE OF ANIMALS. I wish I could give this less than one star. The conditions for the animals at this roadside zoo are absolutely horrible. Many of these animals are sick and demonstrate signs of severe depression and psychosis due to the conditions and treatment they receive here. The enclosures for these animals are incredibly small and overcrowded. There are far too many animals in one enclosure, and in some cases such as reptile enclosures (alligators and snakes) the animals cannot even fully move around. Additionally, these enclosures are not secure or safe. They risk the dangers of an animal escaping and likely being shot and killed such as the recent event with a lion kept in a roadside zoo in the Ottawa region. The "zoo" cares far more about bringing in visitors than the actual safety and well being of animals. For example, a baby tiger (an endangered species) was born in this zoo and was taken away from it's mother and put in a cage too small for even a bird, where it was allowed to be touched by several visitors at once. Imagine how traumatizing that is for a baby. On another note, it is very common for these animals to have no food or water, or food that has quite visibly gone bad. The animals are in very poor health, and most of the enclosures lack any sort of area for the animals to get away from visitors. This roadside zoo is not different from the many others in Ontario such as the Bowmanville Zoo and the Papanack Zoo, which have time and time again displayed horrible conditions and treatment for animals. Animals are suffering and nothing is being done about it.

Shay T

We had a family of 7, 3 adults and 4 kids cost around $100.00 to get in. Great picnic area! Has a bbq place as well, but will need to bring charcoal and lighter fluid. There is a small splash pad, lots of parking. Mostly birds there but a lot of other animals as well. It was a super hot day, so the animals were mostly sleeping or hiding in the bush to keep cool. They say they have Timberwolves & sloth, but we looked in their enclosure and found nothing, but again it was a hot day. Not much staff interactions, which wasn't a problem it was pretty easy getting around and finding out what was what, there is no way an adult could get lost there, but please keep your yound children close. I seen a lot of parents acting like it was a free for all even in the midst of a pandemic. Face covering was a must while indoors, but just self distancing outside, but again no staff to regulate that. Over all if the kids had a blast that's all the matters.????????

Chrissy “Lil Miss” Crush

It was a nice trip it did bother me that the pens the animals were keep in were very small and the Tiger was paceing. I got to let a mini pony and seen hole bunch of different animals my son had a great time at the park

Chrissy “Lil Miss” Crush

Kathie Gifford

Disappointed with the care of some of the animals. The kids enjoyed the splash pad area. Better off going to either Detroit or Toronto Zoos.

Suzanne Gray

A huge variety of animals to see here, a great playground and splash pad for kids and a nice place o picnic.

Chad Regnier

Had a really good time. Lots of animals everywhere. Goats are super cute and love that they run free. Great place to go on a date!

Susan Kopecky

AMAZING ANIMALS...GO WORTH IT!

Sarah Driedger

Couldn't even enjoy myself because looking at the countless animals in tiny cages was just depressing. So many of the birds and monkeys especially were in enclosures so small and cramped. It was honestly heartbreaking. Idk how it's even legal.

Tom Catchpole

Always fun for the kids. If the day is going to be hot get there early and see the animals while they're up and moving around. Then enjoy lunch and the splashpad for the rest of the day. Finish with ice cream.

Heather Fleming

My family and I had a great time. My 17 month old son is an animal lover and really enjoyed seeing all the animals. We brought our own food, enjoyed the many play areas, swing sets and equipments, spent a few hours walking around looking at animals, and will definitely return. We brought our own stroller but would either rent a wagon next time (supplied by Greenview) or go without altogether as the gravel paths are hard to maneuver on with the plastic wheels. It's a true family friendly place and well worth the 1.5hr drive for us.

Steven Cherry

Loved this place, its a hidden jewel for sure, our group ranged in age , 1,3,4,6,7,9,13, 25-50 and everyone loved it all the same, we had a nice picnic, then let the kids play on the equipment, zipline and ball pit, then into the zoo to see all the animals, then back to the equipment and ball pit. I would definitely recommend a visit here for all ages, in the summer they also have a splash pad so we will be back when thats open for sure.

Kevin James

Super fun can feed animal's and lot's of different types ????

A F

Perfect place for the lil ones. My kids enjoyed it. I will visit this place again soon.

aaron r

Had a good time. Can feed some animals like ducks, deer and donkeys. Lots of others you can see up close like a baby lynx. There is a pretty big playground with small zip line for kids. Also a small splashpad for them to cool off in Overall a good way to spend an afternoon. Small restaurant there but can also bring own food in

Carly McCoy

Well I usually dont do places like this and I was reminded why. First of all I did not see ONE employee there all day cleaning the washroom or animal cages. These animals look extremely sad, the caging for these animals are way TOO small. I was absolutely disgusted with the state of these cages. Black water, feaces and the smell. Poor animals, it's very obvious that this place is for the money and not the animals. Heartbreaking. I would not recommend. Children love it , but they don't see what adults do

KEITH GORE

Great place to tak3 the kids for the day. Animals are all healthy looking. Inexpensive day out for th3 2hol3 family

Juan Alzate

Excellent place to enjoy with the family! Many animals to see and feed. Many other attractions at a very affordable price

Jay Taylor

Awesome, quiet spot. Great food, lots of cool animals, and an amazing play area for the kids, including a splash pad!

Jocelyn Mathurin

Beautiful place to spend the day. Great prices, clean. Even got to see feeding time!! Our favorite end of summer day trip!

Sharon Buckley

wonderful place to go with the kiddos they enjoy it every time. Lots of things to do for the young n old go at least three times a summer

Nitesh Singh

Excellent place for kids. Cooperative staff and well maintained

Kody Ambrose

amazing zoo, tons of space and great job allowing us to pet animals! daughter loved it.

Kody Ambrose

amazing zoo, tons of space and great job allowing us to pet animals! daughter loved it.

Diana DD

Friendly staff, Great park and water pad for kids, you get to feed the animals. $1 for small bag or $5 for kids bucket full. We loved it there. Only negative thing about the whole visit was that I felt sad that the two white tigers were incaged in such a small cage. No space to run at all. It broke my heart seeing this. Over all great zoo for families to visit. Maybe owners can consider giving tigers and lions more running space. That would make alot of people so very happy.

Giles Ayml

Great place for kids.

Janina Zylstra

A great place for the kids! Lots of awesome animals to see. As an adult, it was still cool to see the different animals. It is clean. A great playground for after. Even a small water play area :)

Scott Williamson

Always have fun with the kids here. Go once a year and never disappoints. Perfect size for the kids to walk around and see the animals the spend a few hours at the park playing and eating. Staff always friendly.

stacey hambleton

My family and I loved this zoo! Lots of things to do! Lots of great animals to see ! I also love how you can feed some of the animals !!

Emily Brown

This place is so gross and sad. The animals are not taken care off the Lemar didn't even move I thought it was dead it's so depressed and sad. The Lion was limping. Ducks swim in green sludge no fresh water. Tigers were in such small cages will never go back. They didn't even have fresh food or water. These poor animals have to spend their whole lives there it's just sicking :(. They should be shut down

Hovsep Tavitian

Place is great for kids. Some animals were in really small cages with not a single green beside them... Of course food was awful too (they're not even trying) but they did surprisingly have a variety of animals. Would not go back nor would recommend visiting... Just felt like an awful place to be in. My kids loved it though.

Murray Brubacher

This zoo is a great place for children to spend a day seeing different animals and playing in the playground

Moe Shreif

Beautiful place to take your kids and spend the hole day .. Large variety of wild animals With a nice guide

Carmen Linwood

First time here. It was a lovely day. We enjoyed it. There's a lot of equipment for the kids to keep them busy.

Tim Morin

Awesome place to spend the day with your kids!! Or even go on a date with someone special and stroll through the zoo!! Bring bananas to feed the monkeys, you'll be glad you did, they are hilarious!

Rikki Beaulieu

Great lil place for the family.

Randy Daigneau

Great for a family day of fun

Sarah Bechard

We always enjoy visiting Greenview. We try to make it at least twice a year. It's the perfect size for smaller kids, not as much walking as a larger zoo. It's fun to visit in the early spring and see the new babies, and later in the summer to see how much they've grown! The goats are always a hit. There are lots of picnic tables and pavilions to have lunch in. The play equipment has something for everyone. The splash pad is great fun for all ages.

Y. Kim

Umm the well-being of the animals was a little concerning … won’t return.

My kids had so much fun seeing all of the animals, playing in the splash pad and having French fries and ice cream of course

sherri-lynn roberts

My kids love this park totally easy to navigate, animals are always active and out. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with on this trip { and we go a lot) was the amount of baby animals? I thought that this was a rescue type organization? I didn't realize they were breeding these animals. It's a small facility so I would be curious to know what they do with all these babies? I am not a zoo hater I believe in conservation and I love the fact that I can bring my children in teach them, however with it being such a small facility I guess I was just disappointed a bit to know that their animals are not spayed and neutered.

Dominique Osmon

Great place for the kids. Alot of covid19 safety measures! Great time. Good price for entry.

Patti Riddell

A great place to take the kids. They have every kind of animal that you don't normally see and you can interact with them. The price is reasonable for a family day of fun. Most people take a lunch, but they also have a take out food.

Matt Havell

Fun day trip

Al H

Worth a visit at least once to see exotic animals. Wish cages were much bigger for some animals. There also neat smurf-sized miniature houses scattered throughout a trail. The playground is nice for kids of all ages. I suggest more trees setup as shade for picnic tables.

Michelle Beattie

It was ok. However I am a avid bird lover. I don't believe I saw any toys or things for them to do. For how fun loving and playful parrots can be, it was very disappointing to see nothing in their space other than something to stand on. How bored they must all be!!! How very sad! Note to self..."if" I ever go again, I'll bring some parrot toys to donate.

Wes Hinchcliffe

Our 2 year old daughter along with 11 and 8 year old cousins really enjoyed ourselves here today. Set your expectations appropriately (for a small, inexpensive "zoo" and activity park), and you'll likely be pleasantly surprised.

Miranda Scott

The animal cages are way too small. I ember coming here as a kid and remember it feeling wrong, and clearly it hasn't changed. It amazes me how many other reviewers admit they felt the same but still gave the place 4 or 5 stars because their kids got to see a tiger up close or whatever. Great that the animals have to suffer to make little Brayden happy for thirty seconds.

keyboard warrior

Place is ok. A little bit pricey in my opinion, the reptiles could of been taken care of a little better though. I own a few my self and am aware of the husbandry that goes into takeing good care of thease animals. If your looking for somthing to do with the family its ok like i said. They have outdoor grils you can bring food and charcoal and have a cook out.

Naval pandit

Awesome place. Beach is nearby too as well as National Park. Animals seem very healthy.

Jim Broer

Fun place to see the animals up close. Great time. Beer available too !!!

Amanda Goodwin

While the animals are absolutely beautiful, their enclosures are much too small and lack enrichment of any kind. You can see the pace trails showing that the animals are bored. There are plenty of hand sanitizer stations and clear markings to direct people to go the same way to maintain social distancing.

Jennifer Calcutt

Just came from greenview this weekend and while my kids had fun, I went home with a sick feeling in my stomach and couldn't stop thinking about those poor animals. For the farm animals and the small animals it seemed that they had adequate space and were well cared for. But the poor lions and tigers were in such a small enclosure they barely have any room to move around let alone run. I hope one day our province can come up with stricter regulations on enclosing wild and exotic animals. Greenview avaries you should be ashamed at yourselves for the lives you are forcing these beautiful creatures to live for your profit.

Deborah Taylor

Very disappointed. Went to take photos of the lions and tigers as a change from Toronto Zoo. Very difficult to impossible due to all the double fencing. Okay for families with children but not for photography.

Nicole Cullen

This place is horrible and has been for decades. Filthy prison for these poor beautiful animals. You can clearly see the terrible conditions of this place by the photos posted! If you think this is a “great family place” please upgrade your standards and have compassion for the animal lives trapped in this hell called Zoo. Don’t support these private zoo’s.

Noreen McLean

Went with family and it was wonderful but the enclosures were very small and animals in cages make me sad.

Cole Smith

About an hour from london, inexpensive, you can hand feed the majority of animals, and if you go early enough its not crowded. Much prefered over the toronto zoo

Andrew Hiorth

Nice place. Great for the kids for a few hours of fun.

Robert Copeland

17 dollars for an adult and it was extremely busy today. July 31st

max zangolli

Great place for little kids to get up close to a wide variety of wildlife. Awesome play area and picnic area. Adolescent kids might find the animals living conditions depressing.

Lisa Davis

Great experience! A great zoo, especially for young kids as their were lots of fun, interactive farm animals.

Charlene Elizabeth

Love the zoo! Has a great park, play equipment and splash pad for kids. Wagon rentals are only $3. Great place to bring the family!!

Brooke Rotermann

Definitely a good day trip for the family!! Small gem in the middle of beautiful country.

Donna St Jean

Very educational and enjoyable!

Faye Ola

Best place for young families and kids. It's an all day affair here! They also have fast food (pizza, fries, chicken) for those who didn't bring a lunch. A large zoo, splash pad, and playground. This place won't disappoint!

Terris Buchanan

Fun feeding animals and the kids LOVE the splash pad and play/picnic area.

Will

Love bringing the family here. My kids can go to the petting zoo and I can shop around the plants.

Kim Teskey

The water pad was a great way to cool down for the kids zfter viewing the animals.

Brian Kemski

Great gettaway for the kids

Paul

Awesome place to take the kids. Our family always has a great time .

Robert Barnwell

Awesome family time

Elizabeth Crandall

It was great day, weather good, animals mostly out,and price is cheap enough for everyone, and the best thing would be is the parkett with buildings and castle and would be great if lite up with lights especially in winter. Great spot for a wedding thank you for the day will be back.

Brad Hansen

Love taking my kids here

Sagar Shafiq

what a great place for anyone of age! I took my wife, our 2.5 year old and my 16 year old sister and we had a blast. definitely will be returning

Tony Montana

My review is only pertaining to the zoo & its maintenance. It was very sad and upsetting during the whole visit and every section of the zoo. I don't know if it is the facility that lacks of the funds. It may not be as easy as what I could say to raise the funds. I could not believe when I saw those extremely small cages that all the wild animals were locked in. This black bear was wandering around the same area in circle over and over again as he was extremely stressed. Baby monkeys were just left alone in small cages without any maintenance, looking horrified and scared when these children were very near and shaking the cages. I've never seen any one person all day, maintaining or looking after animals & the facility. Sanitation seems to be neglected and no sings whatsoever to not feed animals with human foods. People were taking their phones so close to animals, throwing their food to animals and these foods & fruit in this hot weather were just being left between the cages. Children may like this place and has nice playground & splashzone; however, it was just a shocking zoo I've ever seen in my life and these cages are torturing and abusive. It is extremely a bad conditioned zoo. Please care for animals and maintain better; otherwise, this place must be shut down.

Sean Gillard

Been going to Greenview since I was a kid. Great place for birthdays and cheap enough for just a quick Sunday visit. Animals always seem well fed and taken care of. Very nice owners If it's still the older couple

Jim Teetzel

Great for us and the grandkids.

navdeep kaur

greenview aviaries is great place for families to have a great fun filled days.they have got a variety of animals, reptiles and birds. feed the animals, have picnic, bring your own food or buy affordable food at the location.cart rentals are available there.its neat clean and well maintained area.make sure to bring extra set of clothes for kids as they cant resist the splash pad.

Marie Pinch

We had a great day

mary shepherd

Only one star for the kids play area. If only the animals had any life at this disgraceful place. Living conditions are beyond poor, animals are clearly in physical and emotional distress. This veŕy poor because for a zoo needs to be shut down now. If you go you are supporting an I am neglect and abuse.

Rezeq Abdrabbou

Great place for family

Me Again

The kids had fun. It was a really nice day. The staff were friendly. Sadly, the cashes for many of the animals were way too small. Monkeys were mostly alone, in booths no bigger than a shed. Owls and eagles were in enclosures that allowed them no movement. Kids wouldn't have noticed, or cared, but to my wife and I, it was mostly sad.

Don Ridsdale

Great place to bring the kids not to expensive and lots of fun. We go at least once a year.

Patrice Moore

Great prices lots to see and do.

Dylan Edes

An awesome little zoo! Definitely recommend it, a great park area and splash pad for the kids too. Will definitely return next time we are in the area!

Mike Carrothers

We had a great time and the kids loved it definitely worth the trip

Bill M

Nice place for kids. Not overly expensive but washrooms could be cleaner.

K D

Disappointing - Zoo aspect is a joke. Sure it’s good for little kids with playground etc - but the exhibits are disappointing… sorry I contributed my money. I’ve been to several “regional zoo’s” in Ontario and don’t recommend this one.

N R

Great place to spend a day...great price..animals well cared for. .clean and great staff. Splash pad nice way to cool down. We had a good time.

Cliff Meier

Was a little disappointed with the care of the miniture village.

G Hooper

It was a nice place to go. Not to big but not to small.. a nice day trip, you get very close to the animals and it's alot of fun to feed them. Would go again!

Kirk Theakston

Loved this place. Kids had alot of fun too. Lots to do and see. Animals look like they are well cared for.

Amy Monteith

Great for people of all ages and makes for a great day trip. Loved the variety of animals and being able to feed them. July seemed to be a good time to go as there were many babies to see (wolves, zebra, pigs, monkeys, buffalo). Overall great experience!

manny matti

What a great day we had here. It's not just for the kids us adults had a great time aswell. Lots of things to see. Spent all day there and the kids still wanted to stay it was really hard getting out of the park. Loved it. Great place. Will be back for sure.

Matthew Dagenais

Great family fun for a good price. Spend the day and bring a picnic lunch

Josh Walker

This is such a fun zoo, has some wonderful animals and the place feels so welcome and spacious. Splash pad out front for the kids to cool off, some playground equipment and zip line for when they're done. We've come here a couple times and will hopefully be back again.

S

Best zoo in the area. Animals are kept in lots of area to run around at, lots of animal choices, safe, lots of playground area for the kids to play in, can't wait to visit it again. Thank you.

mm MM

Do not waste your time and money. The cages for these beautiful creatures are just too small. There is clearly room for them to be made larger. I felt so sad for these animals. They all look so sad. If you have a place like this, then the animals should have lots of room to roam and play. I heard it was a nice place but am so disappointed and saddened. Our first and last zoo that we will ever attend to.

Susan St.Croix

We had a wonderful day here. The entrance price was very reasonable when compared to other places.

Yvonne Daniher

Kids had alot of fun playing all day at park then viewing many animals. Spent whole day. Food was good too.

Albert Arnott

There is a baby tiger born in 2021.

Danielle Fields

My favourite place to bring the kids! Tons of animals, all viewable and come right up to you. Splash pad, playground, picnic areas with bbqs, food sold and more! Very decently priced for an entire day trip.

Brandi

Kids always love it! Every year we go back the animals living conditions seem to get better and better!

Nicole Fillmchuk

Our favourite zoo. Wish the bathrooms were a bit cleaner.

Jackie Paquette

Been going for years with my daughter son in law and grandsons every year for mothers day we always have a wonderful family day and the prices are good and they take great care of their animals very important

e mc

Loved it! The price is unbeatable. Better the African lions safari for how close you get to the animals

Ian Deck

Great place for families and friends and school groups... lots of great animals and you can feed most as well... really nice hands on experience...

kevin archer

Great family place. Love how close you are able to get to the animals.

Candace Morais

Pretty cool place :) The Shakespearean village is cool but it could defiantly use some touchups. The staff is great. The animals were very friendly, love seeing all the babies:)

Jim Campbell

Larger than expected. Reasonable food prices Fun time with grandkids

Moe Moch

Very nice place, lots of animals to see, friendly staff, good picnic area with splash pad for the kids and lots of play areas.. good for any family member. Went twice this year and will be heading there again when we have a chance!

Jackie Robinson

NO COVID PRECAUTIONS IN PLACE AT ALL. No limit on occupancy. Everyone was touching animals, rails, common areas. No one was cleaning anything! No sanitizer anywhere. No staff directing people or helping keep distance between people. All kids were playing in small occupied places. Prices were good, grounds were kept, staff was friendly. Some of the Animals looked unhappy, bored and some were limping while walking, some looked hungry. Others were well cared for. If there was no covid I'd definitely return more often.

rosanna luzius-vanin

Rare opportunity to see wild animals up close but also sad in such small places. Especially the cats

Lorne Osborne

loads of fun for whole family, zoo, avaiary, splash pad, picnic , large play park....

Jeff Slota

Had a great day here! Was here with our 3 kids. The animals were amazing! So many different animals in one place. As an added bonus there is a great splash pad, zip line and multiple playgrounds. The staff there was also very kind. A definite place to go for the summer!

kris sietsma

Fun place to take the kids. Always have a good time feeding the animals.

Carl Dale

Fun family destination.

Ryan Harper

One of the most depressing zoo's I have ever visited. They seem to be hitting the bare minimum for animal welfare!! Very limited space for the animals with almost nothing to engage them in play or to challenge their instincts. I am a big fan of zoos and believe in their purpose for sustaining species and informing the public. This zoo seems to exist solely for the entertainment of the public with minimal investment in the welfare of the animals. They either need to improve or focus solely their playgrounds as that seems to be where the money goes.

Diana Lozon

I haven't been there in years but it seems they've upped their game a lot. The animals seemed to have lots of room and were looking good

Travis Talbot

Great place for a day trip. Takes 3 to 4 hours to see all the animals and there is a splashpad and a huge playground. Some of the animals could use bigger living areas

harley davidson

Have been twice in a month with my family we love it here and are planning another trip soon.

Kris G

My family and i visited GVA yesterday. What a lovely run business. The staff was so humble and friendly. Grounds were so well kept and beautiful. The food was delicious and not over priced at all, nor was admission fee. They truly want you to enjoy yourself. A little bit of everything here for all ages. Thank you so much.

Jenn Pacheco

We drove over an hour and a half to Greenview and it was more than worth it. What an amazing place with so much to see and do. The animals were awsome, so many you can actually pet and they are in full view. The two boys were extactic to see so many different creatures. The play ground and park area are so clean and the boys played hard (I loved seeing some old school equipment that brought back memories). This place is truly one of a kind and we will definately be returning. Thank you for a day full of fun and adventure!!

Robert Ribaric

Such a great zoo. Had low expectations which were well exceeded. Hoped to waste some time there and ended up staying over three hours until close. Really loved feeding the animals.

Kelly Spriet

So much fun, animals looked happy and healthy! However the black bear was visibility stressed and pacing :(

Melissa Terry

Great place to take the family.... Can buy food and feed the animals.... Has a playground and a splash pad... Reasonable price for entry and is a place to stay for the day.... Only complaint is that the Shakespeare Village is in need of a repair and upkeep... But still a nice little place to go.....

Erik Doxtator

It was fun and exciting for the kids fun all around

Ben Redecop

We come here every year the playground is good for the kids and animals are always great. Best time to see the lions and tigers is when they fees them so look out for the golf kart with their food

Mareen Handola

I wish I could give 0 stars instead of 1!!! I went there yesterday, and it was a terrible experience! I got depressed looking at those poor animals who either have a little unhealthy food or nothing. Myself, I am a bunny owner so I know what their diet should contain - 80% hay and small amounts of pellets - the sweet little bunnies had an unlimited amount of pellets and 0 hay!!!! They are going to die in few days! Also, there was two depressed donkeys, who had no grass inside their area where they were being kept and one of them was trying to eat from outside, however, he couldn’t reach so far. Furthermore, the animals (all of them) looked depressed, tired, hungry and in a lot of pain! That is so unfortunate and I hope they shut this place down. Lastly, they charge people $17, I have no idea what they do with that money if they are not even buying food for those sad animals!

Bob Muller

Amazing time for all ages Fair prices for food and admission Good times!!

Omar Azhari

Great place to spend with family and little ones. Lot to do, can get food for the family and also can get food for the animals to feed them.

Heinrich Ziegler

Nice petting zoo with some large animals. Great playground and splash pad.

amannda coady

So much fun!!!! Lots of animals!! I spent all day here with my kids they did not want to leave ever they cried when it was time to go home. Great place!

hee kook

It's nice place to take family to see animals and walk around Picnic area and kids playground there too

Momen Aghber

Amazing place for family

Aleks M

Great place to bring the kids. Lots of animals and the splash pad and playgrounds are awesome!

Magalie Amine

Kids loved it. Lots of space to play and lots of animals to see.

Matt Dumouchelle

Kind of pricey but great experience for the kids. They enjoyed the animals, splash pad and zip line

Daniel Yung

Dirty water. Big cats, small cages, bald eagles in a 20x20x20 enclosure... a really hungry horse. Pretty whack for 15$ a head.

Urseye

The kids love it. But Im guessing this a horrible place to be for an animal. I have also never seen a staff member outside of entry and gift shop. Probably best to go to proper zoo if you have the choice, otherwise its a good time.

Katharina Martens

Great playground and splash pad for the kids, they love it there! The bathrooms aren't very clean, but I imagine it's hard to keep up with the amount of people coming through in a day!

Andrew Loople

This is an awesome place to bring your family and friends! So many amazing animals and all very friendly! Clean park, clean paths, and well maintained place. Staff and Pricing are great too.

Jon Marsh

Nice zoo close to home, rivals the big zoos in Detroit and Toronto with way less of a drive, washrooms need an update, otherwise nice place to spend the day

Lexiea V

A great family experience.

Mark Weglarz

Awesome summer activities for kids and adults. The zoo is the greatest in south western ontario. Great place. Kids have great splash pad for those hot summer days.

Bill Aiken

Great place for a young family. Shade, the good animals, the kids loved it

Henk Ruitenbeek

Excellent place to visit with the family. We drove a hour and a half to get there. Well worth it

Nadia Karroum

Worst zoo I have been to. The animals all got really small cages. We saw no zoo keepers anywhere. The donkeys were really skinny and don't look like they have been feed enough. They need a big better place. They took way to much money for for seeing unhappy.

Adam Allen

great place to take the kids for an afternoon, good amenities with the playground and splash park. Plenty of picnic areas as well.

Brian Pacheco

Good place for.kids

Aaron Woodward

This place is great if you have kids. When the park is open there are endless activities for any age kids....even the really tall ones....and the animals are pretty cool. Bring lots to drink and come either really early to see active animals or later in the day.

Sarah Walton

This place is absolutely gorgeous and has something for everyone. Lots of climbers to play on. A zip line that is super safe for kids. A splash pad that is well maintained. All sorts of amazing animals complete with animals so friendly they will eat right out of your hand. They even that to separate the reptiles in their own building so if you have a phobia you dont need to go near them. Very reasonably priced for the amount of entertainment.

Matthew McDonald

Cool experience for the kids. Great way to see some animals you typically only read about in books. Hopefully they'll expand some of the enclosures for the primates, otherwise, pretty good.

Brittany McGhie

We had a great time for under 100$. The park was very clean.

Dustin Birch

Fun for the kids. They have a splash pad and playground surrounded by picnic facilities. Makes for a nice day with the kids. The Zoo is fun also.

A Jackson

Fantastic place to take family. Huge spaces. Animals very friendly. Prices are great for what you get. Wagon rentals are available so no need to bring stroller.

Basil Joseph

Good zoo, Good place for spending a day with kids.. playground and splash pad... but only one small washroom… Last Saturday, more than 300 people was there, Only one washroom for the entire zoo.. its would have been better if they keep it clean..

Jim H

Great little zoo. They have a wonderful splash pad and tons of play equipment for the kids. Plus look how cute this baby monkey is!

Harold Mellon

we love it! its about a two hour self tour. more animals than you think! and they we're well looked after, there stomach we're full. they also have a nice picnic park, food, ice cream shack, and a gift store.

Kevin Leite

This is truly a hidden gem. This zoo has such a quaint and humble charm to it, yet it easily rivals the Toronto Zoo. One of my favourite things to do is bring a little bit of fruit like banana and hand feed monkeys, lemurs and raccoons. The variety of animals is always incredible to see, even after coming here many times. Entrance fee is very reasonable and the whole experience is amazing and well worth it. Highly recommend this to anyone of any age who has a fondness for animals or wants to get to know them more. Would give 10/10 if I could.

Cassandra Phillips

It’s a really nice park/zoo they have a lot of playground and play areas for kids. My son loved the playgrounds and slides. The selection of animals is really great too, the reason I’m giving it two stars is because when my husband and I went we saw how little space the lions, tigers, monkeys and bears had. They looked very sad which made us feel horrible for visiting. They also didn’t have enough staff members walking around, people were throwing food at the animals and sticks and stuff. My husband and I had to say something to a couple of people. They definitely need to hire more people to take care of this place. The camel also looked very unhealthy, he had bald spots and just looked very sad. I feel like you guys aren’t taking care of your animals at all. Unfortunately we won’t be returning because it just saddens us to see those animals looking that way.

Linds Anonymous

Great place for young kids. They have animals, splash pad and play equipment. Outdoor area's to eat and you can bring your own food.

Brian Tellier

Great family destination

'Kole Oladimeji

Surprised that there are 4 lions in the zoo. Biggest antelope I have ever seen.

Sheena Brennan

Some of the cages seemed a little small and it was a lot at $15 per person but it was a good experience

Colleen Findlay

Very clean, but I don't understand why its so expensive for adults?

Jessica Prowse

Great place!!!!! We had so much fun today. The kids loved every minute. Well worth the drive.

Doug and Heather Wice

Excellent facility! Covid protocols in place. Animals are very healthy and well cared for. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My compliments to your outstanding attraction.

Pat Michaud

Lots of animals. Plenty of shade trees and benches throughout the park. The walkways were well maintained even if in the crushed stone it was difficult at times to manage my walker. Noticed other guests will strollers and wagons having similar difficulty. Only suggestion I might have is to pack down the stones a little more. The washrooms were clean and we did not have any little ones with us, but family that have previously used the park/water activity have told me it is great

Carleigh Campbell

My best advice to anyone is to NEVER visit this park. It was incredibly disheartening and I felt sick to my stomach for most of my experience. Almost every enclosure for every animal was much too small. All of them were unkempt and the animals were clearly not cared for as they should have been. An option for every guest is to buy feed to feed the animals. Some of the animals were absolutely obese, having enclosures that were too small to move in and being overstuffed with feed. I saw many rabbits that were so obese they did not move. Many of the monkey enclosures had rotting veggies and fruits strewn about and I saw one enclosure for a small rodent that had an avocado that was at least a week old. The snakes had no room to move and the only animals that were moving about were the goats and monkeys. And it was obvious the monkeys were agitated, jumping about in their cages looking for more room. Clearly every other animal was miserable and unhealthy. If you're looking for a family fun zoo, I suggest heading to a real zoo that rehabilitates its animals and only keeps animals that would not survive outside captivity. The animals at Greenview Aviaries were animals that were not cared for and had no means to take care of themselves. I felt like being sick when I saw how small the enclosures are for the big game cats and the bears. The poor owls and bald eagles, birds with huge wingspans, should have room to fly but their cages were no bigger than my living room. The cage for the lynx was probably 2m by 2m and she was pacing back and forth, obviously bored and restless. The only animals that looked to be in good condition were the goats, which can roam free and are well fed by the public. However, it just made them dependent and they follow guests with feed around. Some of the animal were agitated and angry upon being approached. Greenview has many animals that were beautiful and should be living a life somewhere open and free, instead of being caged in, neglected, and forgotten. A business like this should not be supported. It is frankly, disgusting.

Paula Dupuis

Very sad! No shade for almost any of the animals. No grazing space for any of the ruminants! No enrichment for 90% of the park. People pulling a baby goat under the fence away from its mom staff was informed just walked away with out a care! People throw chips at lions. Sheep behind in sheering lying panting as hard as it could! Do not support this place! The owl was forced to be locked out of its nesting place so it couldn’t hide and sleep like it’s supposed to just to make it seen! Find a certified zoo that supports growth or endangered species like the Toronto zoo!

Erica Anderson

Horrible place. Went once, prices were pretty steep. The animals in the cages were so depressing . The big cats pacing back and forth in their cages. My kids literally cried and wanted to leave because the small cages and how sad the animals looked. We will stick with african lion safari. We will never return!!!

Deanne Stephens

Nice place to visit but parking was a bit challenging....over all had a great day out doors

Todd Robinson

Variety of animals for viewing, small restaurant, public BBQs for use, splash pad, multiple playgrounds and a zipline. Something for all ages to do. Good family outing to spend the day together.

TMD 1846 (Tmd1846)

Great for all ages! Lots of animals to see up close and personal!! Grand kids aged 2 & 4 loved it and the little ziplining!

Joey Richie

Super busy today but hands down one of the best zoos around !

Azra Hussaini

Very nice place,,,, highly recommended ????

Diana DaSilva

Reasonable admission. Clean park and play areas. I'm not an expert on the subject but in my opinion, the "zoo" area left me feeling guilty for supporting this business. The larger animals were in areas which are half the size of my backyard. We visited Greenview Aviaries during one of the hottest days of the summer, there was barely any shade and the animals looked miserable. The monkey cages were tiny one of the larger cats paced back and forth in his cage which I'm sure is a sign of anxiety or stress . Our kids lost interest quickly. Most zoos will provide information or facts about the animals. The hand written name plates looked cheap and it was difficult to keep the kids engaged. If your looking for something fun to do with kids I would suggest Storybook Gardens. Bigger splash pad, more attractions for kids and better for your conscience.

Brock

A nice place to take the kids to show them some exotic animals. Many seem to have pretty small cages however. The kangro looked was in smaller then my walk-in closet and looked pretty down in the dumps / lonely.

Renée Lesperance

Had a great time! Great value for the price! Definitely will be back

This vs That

Overall a wonderful place to spend time at. It was our first time this weekend and my kids and family had a really fun experience with the zoo animals, splash pad, zip line and parks there. Staff were friendly, helpful the only thing I was disappointed with is that they didnt accept the Access 2 Card for my son who has autism and global dev delay. I think that is the only thing I would consider changing within the company as it really does help out families that have an individual with a disability. Would definatley go back again!????

Brenda Kennedy

We took our grandchildren here today. The price at the gate includes the zoo and adventure park. The pens were clean and the animals seemed healthy and well cared for. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, plus extras for the carnivores. I saw a few bad reviews before leaving, but the park was clean and well kept to us.

Catherine Hess

Great family fun! The children love cleaning out the fruit and vegetable drawers from our fridge to bring as treats for the animals. It is a wonderful water/playground with amazing creatures not too far away!

K R

Greenview never disappoints! With 2 kids under 5, this is an ideal spot for day-tripping. It's a modest size, so is quite walkable with kids. Most paths are pebble stone or dirt, so wouldn't be very wheelchair friendly. Unlike other zoos, this is a more up-close experience. You can actually get close enough to pass food to the monkeys. The variation of animals is awesome. Again for a modest size, you get the petting zoo experience, reptile area and the more exotic animals. The thing I particularly love, is the extra amenities included... the splash pad, the awesome play structures, the Shakespearean village, sand pit, ball pit. Theres more than enough there to keep even the kids with short attention spans amused. There is an on-site food and ice cream bar which is great, at a modest expense. I loove that you buy little bags of feed for the animals. Well worth the entrance fee!!

Erica Ramsay

So much fun. The kids had a blast. The teenager had a blast. Us adults had a blast. A ton of different things to do. Will definitely be going back!

Claudia's Crazy Life

Some enclosures seem too small for the animals but my kids always have a blast

Sombo Nas

Great place for family and kids.

jeff garrett

Great place a friend recommended. Been to a bunch of different zoos and this was pretty interactive for me and my 3 year old. Bring some comfortable shoes and you will have a great time. The splash pad was nice after being in the sun for a few hours.

G B

First time there just yesterday. My family and I loved it. The zoo had plenty of animals to look at. The play area for the kids was fantastic. My kids loved the zip line. The park is clean. Plenty of picnic tables and picnic areas for the family to eat. Theres also bbq grills there and also a place where you can order food, drinks and even beer! It's a great place to spend a few hours. I recommend it.

Kyle G

Family loves this every year

H

Always enjoy visiting here with family!

张萌

although a little bit far from my city,it deserves the driving time.I hope they could give animal a better and more clean environment.

Sydney Wellington

The park and splash pad are great….however the poor animals are not in good shape and majority of their enclosures are disgustingly small….I’m surprised there hasn’t been an investigation into animal cruelty.

scott miller

It was a nice visit with my wife and daughter. When i went as a kid i thought this place was amazing. This visit made me open my eye a little bit more. There are animals in there that look neglected, now that could be previous owners and maybe they have been taken on for better living i dont know that part. The whole time i was there i didnt not see one interaction with a worker and animal. Did not look like anyone was checking on them. Again maybe they were on the behind scene actions i was there for 4 hrs. Only employees i seen was front gate resturant and gift shop. No one anywere els. There was a cockatoo that was shivering and his wing look hurt. It was sad to see. The wolf cage had no lock on it i could have opened it and the wolf clearly knew witch way was out. I feel like eagles should have more room then what they did. Thats a big bird for a small cage. Now i dont know the whole story of This place maybe there is more to it that i dont know. Its very nice for this kids to see so many aniamls but at the same time what are we teaching them buy showing all the caged animals that look dirty ( i understand in the wild they are dirty too.) And some neglected habitats (cages). No education on the animals and some of the signs with names are have incorect spelling. Overall plauground looked 5 out of 5. Dinner restaurant was a 3* out of 5* (nothing special typical concession stand food) Gift shop 2* out of 5* not much in there thats worth buying but could do a better job at displaying it looked very glum no wow factor. Zoo part. 2* out of 5* chlorine what it is a zoo. It fits the definition. A display of wild animals to the public. Nothing more. If there is any educational research it is not informed or displayed.

Annette Carter

Good play area for the kids. Nice selection of birds and animals. We loved the big cats.

jani pratik

One of the best place to hangout with family for picnic, small zoo with varieties of animals and birds, play ground for kids and park.

Kim Brown

Very sad nothing like it use to be. All the animals looked so sad and unhappy.lots of animals hurt its like they just collect the money and forget about the animals. Zero food and black water for all animals discussing

Eva S

lots of affordable fun for kids of all ages.. unfortunately I won't be going back.. I was appalled by how little space the animals had in their cages :(

Jaimie Funk

I have mixed feelings about the zoo. I like going because I love seeing the tigers and some other animals that you dont regularly get to see. At the same time it's sad too see these exotic animals locked in such small cages. Why do the tigers and lions etc have such a small enclosure, with hardly any room to move around and I didnt see any water for them either but yet the goats and horses had so much room to roam around plus lots of water to drink. The one lion was limping while walking and a tiger was so thin they look malnourished.. does anyone pay attention to that? Broke my heart being such an animal lover. Other then that it was a fun time. I loved feeding the goats.

Elaine Carroll

What a great place to take the family lots to see and do...would go again for sure

majid hussain

Kids really liked it

Patricia b

My kids had a great time with the playground and splash pad. However the sadness of the pets with the small enclousures. They either sleep at all times because well they have no room to roam. My opinion. They need to take part of the play area away and the little house space away and give that space to the lions, tigers and bears. Yes great play area but honestly think about the big animals. They need space. Yes it is good for kids to play. But you can take your kids to a park And splash pad for free. The animals need more space. If they had more space. I think you would see them happier And walk around. As for the peacocks they need space so everyone can see the beauty off it. They wont hurt anyone. The lemurs cages honestly they look so so sad. And honestly i dont think they listen to reviews.

Pat Hooper

Fun cheap place to spend an afternoon.

Denise Revoy

animals look like they are well cared for lots to see A nice splash pad for the kids

Corrie Cleaver

Always a good time! Thanks for the memories made!

Sandy Samuel

Great animals. Clean.pens. directions were great for going through the zoo.

Ashley Coutts

Kids love this place! So much for them to do. They love seeing all the animals and having fun with all the activities

Shawqi Al-Wesabi

Very nice place to visit and enjoy with family. Need extra care for washrooms

Melissa Johnston

A great place for families. My kids always have a great time here. A very nice picnic area as we as outdoor park and splash pad.

Luis A.

Great place to take the kids. You can feed the goats. Aside from the animals they have lots of play equipment spread throughout the park and they have a splash pad too

Jasmine Willman

DO NOT GO!!!! if any this place NEEDS to be shut down. the cages are ridiculously small and dirty. the animals looked neglected. the tiger was pacing back and fourth which means it is going literally crazy, I will NEVER go back! i'm not going to give them money for this down right animal abuse.

Jon Hudson

Great place for kids cheap food lots of stuff to do for the little ones, splash pad tonnes of playground equip zip line for kids outdoor bbq pit stands to cook on to.

Rebecca Montague

Wow! I had never heard of this place before until a family member asked if she could take my 16 month old son for the day. What an amazing park! The animals are very active and easy to see. You can buy food for them as well and they are very gentle with the little ones, not pushy or nippy at all! The play park is fantastic as well and I can see us coming back for years as there will be even more for him to enjoy as he grows.

Lisa Fox

I Have been coming here since I was barely a teenager and now I bring my kids. It has greatly improved since I was young. The animals are close enough to be able to see them. You can feed several of the animals and the park area is an amazing area for parents to relax with a picnic lunch and the kids to cool off in the splash pad or wear off energy on the assortment of equipment.

Rahul Mehta

Nice place, well managed and not overcrowded...great place to spend out a day out with family....

Itrat Raza

Excellent park but it closes early so plan accordingly. Wish they stayed open longer. Nice water park but the zoo is the main attraction. Good to see the white lions running around

Connie Brooks

Loved it here, the pens were clean, lots of fresh water and food. I loved that you could feed so many of the animals and get a chance for an up close and personal interaction.

Gurpreet Kaur

Variety of animals were kept in this zoo and the staff were friendly; however, outrageously small cages for most of the animals especially peacocks. I felt pity on these animals to see them in this condition. Lions and Tigers were kept in way too little fences where I felt unsafe with my kids.

Johnny Rutledge

Very nice clean maintained zoo with huge water park for the children

Johanna Morgan

Greenview Aviaries is a great place to bring the whole family. It is clean and well run. Certainly get value for the money.

Lucy Donkers

Really reasonably priced even the onsite food. Animals all look well cared for. Awesome park and splash pad with a zip line. My 5 year old could not get enough of this place.

Peter Dawson

I was a little shocked to be honest. I was thinking birds and small horses maybe a goat .BUT it was far from that they had so much for the kids to do it wasnt even funny my three kids and two adults planed for a short visit and an were we wrong from the water park little village and lions tigers and bears ???? on and dont forget the timber wolf who is my fav very clean and lots of snack stations around .Totally doing this again thanks for a fun day cheers

Patricia Shephard

We LOVE Greenview. We have visited many times in the past 10 years. It is always so clean and inviting. Perfect spot for young ann older kids.

Jeremy Brown

Lots of amazing animals to see. Unfortunately, many of the cages are outrageously small. I can not help but feel depressed. Places like this should be banned.

Lisa Collins

Always a fun time. Clean and appreciated!

AARON HABIB

What a great family experience. Staff handled our large group very well ! A must if your headed to SW Ontario .

Kathy Foslett

Was to hot the day we went.so only was able to walk around half of zoo.but loved it

Lauren Thorn

Lots of animals to see and feed! Great spot to take the kids for the day! My son would go daily!

krikeyfan

We make an annual trip to the zoo every year and my son loves it. Great way to learn about most animals.

John Tir

Watched 2 less than a week old baby goats in a big enclose get trampled and attacked by big full grown deer. My daughter ran for help and the worker picked them up and put them in a little barn in the same enclosure. One of the babies came out again with its mom and the other one never emerged from the barn, probably too injured or even dead. They should've been moved somewhere safer. Adults and children all watched this attack. It was very traumatic. I will never go back again, nothing was done to protect them even after being notified.

Jodi Langlois

Took my grand daughter today. I had not been there for approximately 25 years and could not believe how big it has gotten over time. Park was clean and although I didn't purchase any food I did check prices and they seemed fair/affordable.

Luc Lanteigne

If you care about the health and well-being of animals do not support this place. Not saying all zoos are bad, but this place is terrible.

a oblak

Fantastic little zoo with a big zoo atmosphere! They have lions, and tigers, and bears! Amongst other great attractions! And the play area for kids includes: huge jungle gyms made out of cargo nets, a splash pad, and a zipline! Reasonably priced, great parking and an awesome environment makes this the BEST little zoo I have ever been to - where's the 6 star button?

Sheri Nael

Yearly adventure we look forward too.

Laura Okazaki

Okay okay, THIS zoo is my favourite. For a small zoo it is so amazing. I love how close you can get to the animals and actually interact with them. The Lemurs will come right up to you and hold your hand. The animals all seem pretty content. The price is very good and there is a little splash pad there for the kids. They've got a small mom n pop type restaurant on the premise and it's very reasonably priced. You go to Toronto Zoo or African Lion safari and you are paying $4 for a bottle of water, here it's $1. A BIG bag of feed is $5 no taxes. They've got wagon rentals which only cost $3 with a toonie deposit which you get back after returning it. Highly recommended this place but at the same time I don't want more people to come, it's like a little hidden gem. My little secret. ???? I love it but I don't want to share it with too many people haha, it's getting busier though as more people are finding out about it. Good for the business but maybe not so great for the people that don't "do human contact" LOL like me! Anyways, awesome place, kind staff, nice and clean, animals are not skittish and they love human interaction. If I could rate it higher than a 5 I would.

Erin Allen

Very nice Day out

Maria Moretto

Lots of different animals to see and feed. And I loved that they have a splash pad to cool off after. Great day with the family!

Mark Mc Farland

Great family place . You can interact with animals, feed them . And they have a snack bar. Bring $5 for a bucket of feed and be a kid again ..

Ernie Peters

Nice place to take children

jennifer iles

Kids loved it...would of given 5 stars but some of the animal enclosures are small.

Brit

When you think of private zoos they are usually smaller and less developed. This is a beautiful place with so much to offer. They have every animal you could think of as well as a huge play area and a restaurant. I would give it a visit if you have the time.

Destini Jariett

Pretty great.

merriday02

A fun day with lots to see. Some of the enclosures look like they need work and a good cleaning up. Baby goats pop out through the fence to say hello. It's definitely worth it to pick up a bucket of feed at the snack bar.

Bradley CM

Great small park, affordable and a great way to spend the day. Their park area has grown and is considerably better than when I last played on it. You can bring apples or carrots, and they have grain for purchase at the front.

Paige Wall

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Tons of different animals, and feeding them was a blast! My three kids (2, 2, and almost 4 year old) enjoyed being able to interact with the animals. Lots of fun playground equipment, but definitely for "older" kids. The splash pad was refreshing, and as always the staff were friendly!

jessica d

If i could give this place zero stars i would. Honestly i havent been here since i was 8. I took my children today and i will never return. Wild animals such as tigers bear and monkies ... All with cages that were so small i wouldnt even let my dog stay in. The animals were clearly in distress and depressed. This place needs to be shut down..

Karen Elliott

We spent a day here with our 2 grandsons. There is so much to do. The boys loved the animals, playground and splash pad. The entrance fee is reasonable and so are the food prices. I like that you don’t have to shell out a lot of money for a fun day with family.

Kaitlin Foote

We brought our two year old and she had a blast! Lots of animals to see and the playground area was perfect for her. Staff was very friendly and facilities were clean. We will definitely be back!

Greg Rooney

I was there today, all I saw was awesome animals and smiling kids faces! Cages are what I expected an animal in captivity requires and they all looked adequately cared for.

Jill Galloway

Reasonable price. Lots of activities. Kids didn't want to leave. Felt very safe.

Wesley Hewlett

The zoo is very nice. They have a great collection of animals.

Tyler Atkinson

Good zoo.

Whistle Blower

I saw horrible situation of some animals in the zoo.some of them have lots of space and some of them are dead inside. Bird cages and moneys ,lions .Tigers cages are very small.people please dont visit this private Zoo. .zoo is a jail for animals. Support animal freedom

Peter Scheib

cages are waay too small. I felt guilty just being there. Felt the need to say sorry to most of the animals for their predicament.

Stacey Kennelly

Animals were in tiny cages where they couldn't get enough exercise and stimulation, social animals were isolated in cages alone, and there were buckets of feed that everyone could just give to every animal. Many were over weight, especially the baboons, and other monkeys, who are fed froot loops. An absolutely horrible place for animal welfare.

Karen McKnight

The animals appeared to be well-kept, but the grounds were rather littered and dirty. Staff were not enforcing "no smoking" in the park.

crystal mckibbon

Nice little zoo... small enclosures for animals..

Sarah Dennison

Awesome experience

Jessica L

We go every year and our family loves it! Tons of stuff for the kids to do, they have added a new playground which is awesome. Everything is priced fairly. Free parking. Free use of outdoor BBQ's pavilions with electricity. We always bring our own food. Tons of animals to see. With CLEAN areas. Some areas seem small for the animals, however it's a zoo not a safari trip to Africa. Animals seems fine to me no open sores or cuts. No matted fur. Interactive with people who are feeding them. Great way to teach my 2 year old about the different types of animals. Overall wonderful and we'll be back!

m c

Though you can get up close and personal experiences with the animals the likes not experienced at other zoos one cant help but feel sorrow for these creatures and their tiny enclosures. Park equipment is good and ample parking.

Jason Bray

Great private zoo lots to see and big play area for kids

Chris Roberts

Great day..see ya again next year!!!

Antar M

Bad place they treat animals very bad . No food or drinks for animals and most of them are hurts . It should be closed and the animals should be sent to animal societies so the can be treated right.

lakshay dhawan

If you haven’t been here, please visit! It has some unbelievable animals like lion, tiger, bear, kangaroo, etc!!! Clean, very affordable, great for kids and for adults as well. Have a small cafe just in case you feel tired walking. Very affordable prices of the cafe too! Just love this place :)

Colinn William

Terrible place. WIsh I could have given it 0 stars.

Eric Landon

Very affordable, always lots to do with the kiddos and the food is great too. We often pack food and picnic but always end up buying some form of food. Staff is super awesome as well. We go many times a year and would recommend to anyone!

John Doe

Great family attraction. Animals look well I care for, priced right. It's good to see independent business doing a great job.

Tori Acres

Definitely a hidden gem in rural Ontario. Located along highway 3 this country zoo and park is amazing. For a small zoo they have quite the variety of animals! Absolutely love that you can feed most animals and animals that would be dangerous to feed either have warning that they might bite or there are two fences for the safety of guests. There is also a nice washroom amenity, a gift shop, and a restaurant on-site that serves all your food, drink, and sweets needs. This place also has a park for kids to play and a little splash pad to cool off in. Would go again!!

Jordon Rowe

Horrifying. Tiny enclosures. Malnourished and unhappy animals. Intelligent birds in cages. Can't believe this is still legal.

Kai R

Too crowded. Animals didnt have enough water or space. One animal looked hurt. Just overall not a good experience. We felt horrible for all the aninals

Tyler Etches

Please think about making cages bigger. You have a tiger cub who has sores on its face from passing back and forth. Your birds are in small cages some cant spread there wings. Reptiles kept in small cages too. I feel like this place needs a face lift, especially the miniature village.

Rob Rocker5000

This place is pretty cool. Lots of the animals have had babies, and all animals appear comfortable and healthy. Food and beverages are reasonably priced too. A nice affordable daily outing for the family.

Samantha Hopkins

We had a blast. Lots to see very busy. Great place to take your kids. For the most part the place is clean. Lots of new babies. I don't know much but snake area seemed a bit small for the giant yellow boa. I could be wrong. Only thing I have to say is the ball pit should be taken out how can that stay clean. THE BATHROOMS are NASTY. And we arrived at 10:30 great price.

Nice place for children ???? Thank you so much for all your have in the place ????

Melissa Haworth

Love visiting here, gone every year since i was little. Sad Covid made it impossible to see the Wolves(my favourite) but it was still a great visit and fun to share with the kids. So much to entertain.

Adam Oblak

I don't care what the 'nay' sayers say this is one helluva great place for the kids! There are lots of animals to see for a zoo of its size - you'll be impressed! The playground is big too, and the kids loved the zip line and giant "rope-climbing-structures". They also have a splash pad area to cool off in. All in all, it is a very clean place and well organized. And lunch can be bought or brought, which is nice. Very reasonable price-wise too. We have been multiple times now and enjoy it just as much as the first time we went! Must see spot in SW Ontario!

Raad Z

Awesome place to visit. There's something for everyone
