Great place! You should bring your kids here because it is a fun time. The entry fee is donations and you get a feed bucket. They also provide a fire so you can cook hotdogs or marshmallows but you need to provide your own food.

Had lots of fun. From the moment we parked Mare and foal out grazing to be a welcome committee. Dogs and cats. Quick Wait for a quick welcome talk and info who to feed what.....then off we went with a basket of veggies to feed the animals. I thought maybe to entice them....tho no enticement was needed. The animals were more than happy to come get a snuggle/pet/munch. To the point you had many to choose from. But not enough to be overwhelmed. There was a large variety of free roam animals to visit as well as some penned animals. All animals looked healthy and happy and clean. The space was beautiful. The owner/ operator was funny and accommodating. He really is living the dream. Remember he runs off donations so please. Be generous. Its a beautiful place to visit.

This is a great place to bring the family for a little adventure. They have a fairly large assortment of animals here, and it was really neat to see the baby kangaroo.

Amazing! So many friendly animals for my family to meet and the owners of the farm were very kind and they also had a play area with a trampoline and sand pit and other toys to play with too. They do have ice cream and beverages but no food, so here's a heads up to pack a lunch or bring something to cook on an open fire as they usually have a fire pit going. Definitely a great time for the family and super glad we went there!

The is an absolute must visit in the peace region. The kids have the best time every single time we go. The owner is so amazing and the way he opens up his property and serves people is outstanding. You can tell the animals are well loved. There is something to do for all ages. You will not be disappointed

This was my first time coming to this farm and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Most of the animals are able to roam freely and interact with the guests. It's a pretty big farm and your able to feed the feed the animals a mixture of lettuce and carrots. There's also a playground area and small snack bar that sell hot dogs, ice cream and drinks. Admission is free, though they do ask for donations to help keep the farm running. This is a great place to bring young children.

An Excellent place for adults & kids. Friendly, Loving, Trusting Environment. Animals look ever so cozy & comfortable around people and to each other. Lovely to see them all happy together. This Down To Earth Farm Petting Zoo entrance fee is by donations which is awesome & You can really see their dedication. It was our first time there and we truly enjoyed ourselves. A truly natural place! This is what I would call a petting zoo! No fences, the animals appear to have a wonderful life! It's definitely a magical place, other so called petting zoos could learn from this one when it comes to naturalness and no commercializing!

This is one big petting zoo. The keepers love the animals and there are some interesting animals such as wallaroos and black chickens. They currently have a baby bison and Holstein. From horses to pigs and rabbits, there is plenty for the kids to see and pet. They have a small concession for snacking and allow people to feed the animals as part of their experience.

This place is AMAZING. We took our kids for the first time and had such a blast. You can get right up to the animals and the view is gorgeous. This is one of the greatest gems of Northern Alberta.

I took 6 kids with me yesterday and they all had a great time! We brought lunch out and made a day of it. They were even aloud to help themselves to juice boxes and freezies out of the freezer, which made them happy! Shane was super friendly and a great help with whatever we needed or if the kids had questions. Props to the daughters. They are so responsible, helpful and are doing an amazing job helping out on the farms.

An absolutely amazing place. The owner also was amazing explaining how we could pet the animals and a little bit of information about them. By donation so it's nice that families who can't afford a lot can enjoy also. My grandson absolutely loves this place and what better way to learn kindness and compassion than with animals. I strongly recommend if you can donate generously as the owner is really just giving a pay back to the community and people in general.
