This place is beautiful. We came for light fare food and to listen to Evan Dillon. This place was very family friendly, amazing prices and beautiful views of Seneca lake. The service was on point as well. Definitely will be back! A lot of parking as well.

Turned us away for a wine tasting however told the group that came after us it would only be a 10 minute wait. Staff was rude as well. Wouldn’t recommend, there are much better wineries in the area.

On Monday an obvious hungover from alcohol or drugs server in his 30s, who was pouring flights of wine for the customers, tells me “Ok, what do you want?” What happened is that he missed me standing in line to be next and started serving the customers that came after me. I said “I am next”. He looked at me and said “Ok, what do you want?” I stared a him for a while and said nothing. Then left. Talked to an acting manager at this time right away. He offered a free tasting. We refused, my wife and I, and left. Message for Wagner vineyards: look around!! There is competition all around you. Wineries everywhere!! All want to sell wine and make money. I came to SPEND money and not being insulted by some hungover rude server, without a smile, without being polite and friendly, without any interest in making tips and without any costumer training. Good luck in business!! This review is now going to be read by strangers and your business will not make as much money. So there!!! You insult me and I return the favor. We are even. Bye bye

Friday night Pub Night on the Brewdeck was terrific with Rachel Beverly performing. She is super talented singing her own music and covers of other great performers. I hope she becomes a regular. Wagner's location is great on the Eastern shore of Seneca Lake. Very comfortable and we had a great sunset. The staff was friendly and service was great. And, oh yeah, their Merlot and Cabernet Franc are very good.

Our experience made this a better stop for beer than wine. We haven’t had much luck finding great IPA’s in this area, but their Brut, Hop Tropic, and Cross Section were all awesome. There’s a huge covered deck out back to sit and enjoy. The bartenders were knowledgeable and funny. The wine was not the same experience. The young lady hosting our tasting was 18 and while she had likely tasted them, she wasn’t allowed to express that she’d done so and also didn’t know much about the wines. That’s not her fault as she’s only 18. Maybe it was the wine, maybe it was the experience, but nothing stood out to us in the reds or whites. However, if you’re looking for a great brewery, this is an awesome stop!

My daughter's wedding at Wagner VIneyards was amazing. We were interested in booking them because of their beautiful location overlooking the vineyards on Seneca Lake, but we choose them because of the other great reviews we read about Ginny and her staff. We totally agree. Ginny and her staff were amazing, the food was delicious and our event ran as smooth as could be. Perfect day!

It's a big place that can handle a big crowd. We went on a Friday in the middle of a Christmas event, but you couldn't tell by the great customer service we received. Wines are absolutely top notch and the view is beautiful on a sunny day.

Very dull experience here. Maybe because we came towards the end of the day. Woman who poured our flight yawned while she poured our flights. Won't be back. Head over to Thirsty Owl on Cayuga lake for a true wine experience.

Really solid brewer & winery on Seneca Lake. Only tried the brewery, good beers, dark but not too dark. Black Kolsch was my favorite, really interesting and tasty. Plenty of outdoor seating with good views, great for groups. Big gift shop inside too for those who can't/don't drink. I recommend the spot, but if you're after the best beer or wine, you can do better. However, having the choice of either beer or wine is a nice perk.

Would definitely come back in the future and with these post covid times you get a free wine glass with their logo on it with your tasting. Andy who was our sommelier was very knowledgeable and told us about the history of Finger Lakes Wine culture. If you stop by try the Alta B blush.

Average level wines. Tasting room was warm on a hot day. The 2017 semi-dry Riesling was good. 2017 Chardonnay Reserve - Good. 2016 Merlot was Acceptable. And their 2012 Meritage was Good. We visited at the peak of their day and the server was rushed but didn’t greet us for several minutes at the bar.

We were skeptical when we arrived and walked into a giant gift shop, but ouo server for the tasting, as well as the wine, made it worth the stop. A wide variety of wine to choose from many of which were delightful. The brewery was pretty good, too. A solid two thumbs up.

Great way to spend Easter Sunday! This time we enjoyed the beer...yum! (I did buy their Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot---2 of my faves by them). Then walked right over to their adjoining restaurant & enjoyed great food & service. I highly recommend going there. Oh, the view of Seneca Lake is spectacular

Amazing place with a stunning view of the lake and the vineyards. The selection of wines was pretty good. They had live music that made a nice vibe. You could see the sunset on the lake from your table. So romantic that we actually witnessed a proposal! I'll definitely go back!

The food was excellent. It was one of the most delicious chicken sandwiches I've had. The only reason they lose a star, was because the waitress was slow in getting our drinks. The whole table had empty soft drink glasses and two at the table didn't receive their water until I got up and asked another waitress to get it for us. Otherwise it was great.

First off: flights are generous, which I love. But nothing else was that great to me. Personally, I didn't love any of the beers. Usually that doesn't affect my review for places like breweries, but something can't let me give it 4 stars. I just didn't have a great time. Maybe a bad day?

Our first visit to Wagner Vineyards. Well-established location in Lodi. Seems to be pretty highly built up, with brewery and restaurant also onsite. Had a great tasting room experience with an older gentleman who was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Wagner wines, as well as the world history of wine. Learned lots of great tidbits. Wines ran the gamut of quality. Standouts to us were the '17 Caywood East Vineyard Riesling and the '16 Barrel Ferment Chardonnay. The latter of the two is typically not our style, so that is hard won praise. We will consider revisiting.

During these times of quarantine, Wagner was awesome. I wanted to take my boyfriend for our fingers at lakes tour of the wineries for his birthday which is today. Due to the quarantine we were not able to do that. Wagner stepped up and offered a virtual tasting of their wines. Then we had technical issues and were interrupted for about a half hour. Wagner stepped up again and offered a virtual tasting with another one of their staff members. I was very pleased with how accommodating this winery was in providing my boyfriend with the experience I wanted him to have on his birthday weekend. I can't wait to visit this winery in person this summer when the quarantine is lifted. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone at Wagner and to especially Katie.

This is a beautiful vineyard overlooking the Finger Lakes. Very helpful staff and a great selection of wine. The restaurant is very nice as well and has some tasty food with a great view. I'm sure it would be nice to stay in the attached hotel as well. It is also central to most of the vineyards in the area.

Rude staff at entry kept telling me they were closing at 5. We got there before 5. Just rude. Did not bother tasting wine. Too bad since we spent a lot at other wineries. Felt we were bothering her. Went down to Idol Ridge and they had awesome wines and were not rude.

Seemed to be a very nice place. The first person we talked to was Very helpful. We got back to the wine tasting area which was busy, we had a glass set in front of each of us. From that point on we were ignored, had another couple show up after us and they took care of them right away. I got pissed, told off the Hispanic guy and we left WITHOUT getting to do our tasting. Was highly disappointed in the service we got.

Generous pours in the flights,but we were late for tasting & felt like we were scolded & wasn't able to have tasting. Would understand if winery was busy, but we were late because weather & we next door for lunch which was short staffed & there was a huge downpour of rain. Winery had 2 other customers in the area where we drank our flights of wine.

You can tell Wagner put a lot of thought into "running the business" after Covid-19. We felt incredibly safe and it was fun to enjoy wine tasting again! Their variety of wine is always stellar; there truly is something for everyone! We also had the pleasure of having Austin host our wine tasting. Wagner Vineyards is absolutely fabulous! There are many varieties of wines from dry to sweet whites and reds. After many samples, I went with the vignole and the Delaware whites. They represented some of the best of those varieties that I had tasted over the last few days. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and added to a wonderful experience. The prices were also very reasonable. Make sure you include Wagner on your trip to the East side of Geneva Lake!

Went for a tasting today with my family For my birthday and my aunt made a joke to the individual in charge of the tasting regarding tasting wine and beer in the same tasting. He threatened to cut her off. She was fine. Then when I was about to leave I caught him giving my aunt the finger. How dare he. Confronted him and he made up a lie about looking at another employee. He continued to lie. Don’t go here. The rest of the team was fine but unfortunately I don’t know this gentleman’s name and he was AWFUL. If you go here, be cautious. RUINED MY TIME. Very upset and disappointed.

Always a great place to visit as they have both winery and brewery on site as well as q cafe for snagging a quick bite to eat while you and your party are on your Seneca Lake Tour experience!!! They still need some work on their overflow/large conveyance vehicle lot. Nasty drop off from Wagner Road make for some running board scrapes unless you are moving 1 MPH or less!!! Time to level out the gravel or buck up and pave it!!!

We had a great time in the Seneca Lake area visiting the wineries. The sommelier at Wagner was knowledgeable to the point that my husband thought he was very arrogant. That was until the sommelier I told him how sweet he was, that lighten things up quite a bit. I do however wish that the wineries in area had charcuterie boards.

We came as a group a bit late mind You, but they rd us we could not have our wine tasting, and that they would only refund half of what we paid for. They then proceeded to tell us that we couldn't even use the bathroom at their winery, but don't worry because it "wasn't personal." Probably one of the most beautiful venues for a wedding. The lush green lawns lead your eyes to a stunning view of Seneca Lake which in turn makes a gorgeous backdrop for any bride and groom. An unforgettable setting.

One star for its location and beautiful views of Seneca Lake. Cannot give you feedback on food, but the wine tasting - that’s a different story. I am European from a family of winemakers, know a lot about wines. To date, Wagner was the worst wine tasting experience in my 60 years. Please DO NOT call it wine tasting! We stopped at 3 other wineries and they were all fantastic. They served us ACTUALLY wine!!! If I could give you a zero for the wines, that’s what you deserve!!! We will never recommend you for wine tasting! Disappointed!

For some reason the wine tasting price was $12 dollars and not just $10 dollars which i did not care for and then you only get 5 different samples. Someone should tell them this is a direct correlation to sales. We didn't buy any. Lol their wine is pretty much same as well. I will buy elsewhere.

wines were quite reasonable bit service was so bad we actually couldn't finish our tasting. we waited around for a while for our last wine and after a while had to walk out. an older gentleman was straight up rude to us, wouldnt talk to or serve us after making direct eye contact. Jessica was a delight though, she did her best. the wagner beer side was great too, good beers and service.

Trying to make a long story short… Went to Wagner over the weekend. Have been going there for years now. With covid most places require reservations and it’s hard to get to places on time. Called Wagner’s informing them we would be late we are at the winery next door checking out and when we got there they would not let us go in for our reservation because we were 1 minute late!! They caused a huge scene and still wouldn’t let us do our tastings until 10 minutes later they finally let us go and it was raining so the wooden deck was extremely slippery and my friend fell and got hurt and then they acted all nice because they didn’t want us to sue them because they didn’t have a “slippery when wet” sign out and as soon and she fell they put the sign out. We have been going there for years and it was the WORST EXPERIENCE we’ve ever had.
