The wine selections was good with some excellent cheese and chocolate pairings (but I will admit I enjoyed the cheese pairings much more than the chocolate pairings) and the server answered any questions I had about the wines and the area. Would recommend in a heart beat to anyone and can't wait to go back and buy some more mead wine and ice wine!

My boyfriend & I decided to tour part of the Niagara Wine Trail for my birthday. Black Willow was our 2nd stop. Because we didn't know what truffles would be gluten free, we opted for the charcuterie board pairing. Excellent choice! From the picture, you can see there is nothing left. It was delicious and the winery had GF crackers for me to enjoy. The Spicy Mango Tango jelly was the jam, literally! Our favorite wines were Black Widow Berry and De Peche Meow. The staff was super friendly and we are so glad we stopped at Black Willow. Check them out if you are in the area!

Did a wine tasting and the lady was SO nice and helpful. The wine was delicious, the black widow and the peach meow or something were SO good. Only thing I didn’t like was the price of the slushees... $10? Yikes. Wouldn’t have gotten 2 if I knew that. Still good but I would rather pay $5.

They offer a great wine and mead tasting package that pairs each tasting with a chocolate truffle and we wound up buying two bottles of mead after our tasting. It was a little annoying that the woman that was helping us with our tasting kept being interrupted by answering the phone, although there was another woman working in the store at the time that was not helping customers (I guess it was not her "job" to answer the phones?). I would suggest that they prioritize helping customers who are actually in the store ready to buy wine over answering phones and dealing with whatever the other woman was working on.

I’ve never been here but I just wanted to share a review on their amazing wine! I’ve had a family member bring me some of their wine. I absolutely love it and I’ve ordered online now. Will definitely have to stop when we’re in town. You guys have a big fan of Black Willow Winery in Texas for sure!

Wine, cheese and chocolates were good; however, they gave us no history on the winery and the staff was not knowledgeable of the winery. They had us pay ahead of time because we were sitting outside which deterred me from purchasing anything after. Oh well onto the next one!

Okay, another winning winery visit. We bought two bottles of their peach wine and one bottle of their black cherry wine. We're not much into dry wines but we love sweet wines. Both of the wines we purchased are sweet. The place is not hard to find. Go and have something to "wine" about. (LOL)

Delicious wine, mead, and port. Flightings and both chocolate and cheese pairings plus charcuterie boards, pretzel bites, spring rolls, and more and cute t-shirts, sweatshirt, etc. They sell honey and olive oil/balsamic vinegar as well

Totally prepared for social distancing and ready to please customers!! Hand sanitizer provided, seating outdoors and distanced, great service! I couldn't have been more impressed on our first public visit since quarantine! My husband, myself and our 3 month old Chihuahua had the best day here!!

Great wine and chocolate pairing. They also have wine and cheese pairings. We loved the "Black Widow" red and the "de pesh meow" white. Highly recommend. One of the great Niagara winery's.

We are from out of town, and read about this winery in a magazine in our hotel. We looked it up online, ordered the wine and chocolate pairing, and the ice wine tasting. We also ordered a meat and cheese tray that we assumed was complimentary because it was 0 dollars. Once there, the girl very briefly explained what we were to do, she pours our wine and walked away. We went on with our wine tasting, but she never came back to talk with us, or talk about the wine.. nothing. She instead went over to talk to a coworker, and that's where she remained. We asked about the tray, and she said the site was outdated and she would not honor it. We then asked about the wine glasses we were supposed to receive for keepsakes. She again said the site was outdated, but my husband said that was not our fault and we paid for them, so she begrudgingly gave us 2 wine glasses. It was our first time at a wine tasting, and we feel like we did not get the experience we should have. We were excited to learn about the wine and have fun, and we just didn't get that. Extremely disappointed. That said... the wine was very good and so was the chocolate. There was one very nice lady there that chatted with us right before we left. We bought a bottle of the peach wine.

Really liked this winery, visited it many times. Yesterday I was disappointed with the way a problem I had was handled. Went to open a bottle of their wine, and the cork just crumbled as I opened it. Well now there is cork in wine, and still can't be opened without more cork getting inside. Pretty much a lost cause. Called the winery, and was told it was probably the way the opener was put in. I have never had that problem before, with their wine or any other. I was told they would give me a discount at my next visit. At this point, don't think we'll be back. I might have told the customer to bring that bottle back and exchage for a new bottle.

Tom was so knowledgable and walked us through the wine and cheese tasting. He knew what he was talking about without being intimidating or pretentious. I'm a dry red wine person but the Estate Diamond white was incredible. Will be back here for sure! Very impressed by this winery.

The wine was good as was the different cheeses. However, the ambiance and/decor was very lacking. The server/employee was less than helpful when helping to select the wines and most of what we picked they ran out of. We had asked for goat cheese because we saw a package in the display unit but when we ordered it for our sampling they said they were out. When we asked about what we saw he said that that was available to purchase but not sample. Same with a few wines we had picked out. This place is less than inviting and even less romantic. Was a waste of money in my opinion.

Totally disappointed in this winery .. popped in there recently for a tasting on one of our much needed local day trips .. we love to come from the southtowns and visit the Lake Ontario wineries .. we have always been so pleased with the wineries in the area .. Victoriansburg .. Gustofsun ( 2of our favorites ) are ALWAYS SO WELCOMING And friendly .. the wines at Black Willow were not up to our expectations and the woman , I assume was the owner .. was too “uppity “ and definitely not customer oriented . With all the incredible wineries in this beautiful area , this one I would skip .
