Wish I could give 0 stars. Ordered an app. Didn't get the app. Mains came. Prime rib was almost raw and asked for medium. Other half got the beef melt and it was extremely soggy. Not an enjoyable experience.

Great atmosphere, lots of locals, good selection of both beer and wine, daily specials. Service was slow but friendly. Food choices are many and excellent. Steak, pasta, pizza, fish and chips, burgers wings nachos, beef dip. Pool tables, TVs to watch the game, dance floor and function room.

The fish and chips dinner had to small of fish portions compared to other restaurants. Their two pieces would equal one piece from the others and you would get two of them. The fries were more filling than the fish, but were a tad salty

I only been there once so far, met a guy there that reminded me of Seth Rogen ???? and the waitress that just went off duty there was awesome, plus friendly bartender , and the local craft beer sure made me climb up the Monkey tree that night haha.

Very poor service here on wing night (wednesday) 2 different waitresses refused to take our food order because they "didnt have time" 20 minutes seated just to order drinks. When the food finally arrived the order was wrong - plain wings given instead of hot. Ohh Gosh it's surch a regret to come to monkey Tree tonight.

The food was absolutely AMAZING!! The best Beef Dip, Seafood chowder and Seafood Linguine we have ever had. During our stay in Yellowknife we ate here for every meal! Atmosphere and staff are wonderful! Highly recommend this place. I'd give more stars if I could!
