Went to the pancake house tonight. A simple chocolate chip and banana crepe, a reg 2 eggs and bacon and a salad after 30 min of sitting there I had to approach our waitress. The people sitting next to us ordered a full meat meal and were served first. The waitress told us the the cook got mixed up with the orders. After she went in the kitchen an employee came out to look at us while looking at his phone texting. Very disappointed wih this service. We left leaving money for a chocolate milk on the table. Will not be back. We were the first people to order and only one couple who were almost done eating were in the restaurant

Even though it's called a Pancake House, there's not many options for breakfast with pancakes.You should change the name to "Just Another Diner House" because that's what it is. My advice would be to offer more specials with pancakes and eggs and bacon. All they had was the Hungry Man's breakfast.The customer service is par. The waitress we had did not smile at all. If you go to, literally, Any Other Diner it would be the same, maybe cheaper, prices.They do serve the best pancakes though.

Went for breakfast, really looking forward to pancakes! Ordered a small breakfast with a pancake on the side, but was so disappointed with the syrup! It was not maple, but something else thick and tasted more like corn syrup. IF your named Pancake House... you should have the BEST maple syrup ever! Maybe look into getting some local maker of maple syrup to buy from... I will say we most likely will not return. The waitress was good and pleasant though.

It was our first time at this restaurant. Came for lunch. The server was very friendly however seeing as it was a slow time she did seem bored and spent most her time on her phone at the bar area with the other server. The menu has a great variety, but not so much that it's overwhelming. We ordered a western sandwich, supreme potato pancakes and a heritage burger. All delicious though we were disappointed the French fries were from frozen. Overall a good experience but nothing to make us want to return.

Visited as a guest in the pancake house for lunch . we were entertaining friends from woodstock . We choose to stay indoor ????. i just want to say , in addition to nice meal , we had a delightful servers. They had just the balance of friendliness . They recognized that we wanted time and did not rush us . servers and other staff members did great job .????????????

There are other places you can go to in Woodstock which may be nicer or fancier quality but that's not why I come here. I come here when I want breakfast served to me in a fashion as if I cooked it myself. Things might be different day to day, but over the years I see mild improvements made regularly and generally experience good staff. The coffee usually pours bottomless and on time. It's generally cozy.

The manager came out and asked how everything was and didn't seem to care. Will never go back again. One star is being generous.

When I moved to Woodstock from Guelph, I was worried that my options for breakfast restaurants would be limited. Heritage Pancake House put those worries to rest; they serve great food at very reasonable prices. We seem to always get the same waitress too, and she is fantastic - she knows what we're going to order before we do! This place is great. Try the omelettes!

Visited for a late breakfast. Ordered two omelettes with brown toast and home fries. No drinks (just water) and the bill came to just under $20 before tips. Portion size for the omelettes are generous, however contained processed cheese slices which was a turn off. If ordering omelettes read the menu carefully and pay the extra $1 for real cheddar cheese or prepare to be disappointed. The rest of the meal was average. Service was prompt and efficient, the decor dated but clean. Overall a forgettable experience.

Came here twice... the first time the pancakes crumbled away like they were old and just reheated. The second time we went there my wife got an omelette and she couldn’t finish it because the cheese was cheap processed cheese. It looked like plastic. Kind of disappointing because a place like this has lot of potential. I’d like to say I’ll be there again but if you are going to pay 15$ for a breakfast, I’d like to have real cheese in my omelette, and fresh pancakes! Service was good also, and they are generous on the bacon, but can’t get over the other stuff.

New ownership it would appear and inexperienced at that. I paid $13 for the hungry man breakfast and got 3 small eggs, 2 slices of under toasted rye bread, 3 skinny strips of bacon, 1...yes 1 sausage and 2 McCain’s hash brown patties. My first sausage was fine but the side I ordered after was off. They tasted like sour milk. The new Pancake House will not last long with big prices and small portions...nay I’d call them insulting portions. I suggest the owners go to breakfast at other restaurants around town and see what the competition is serving. They might be embarrassed by what they are serving once they do. Ps: you gotta love it when staff and owners post reviews about their restaurants. It’s so blatantly obvious.

We had been here a couple times before and enjoyed everything about our visit until our most recent visit where our waitress was incredibly rude to us. She did not introduce herself to us, interrupted us multiple times, and scoffed at us when we asked a question about the menu.. in short she made us feel very unwelcome and questioning whether we'd go back or not due to her rude, unprofessional behavior. Although the food was delicious as always it does not excuse nor make up for how this waitress mistreated us.

Nice welcome, attentive Server, thank you for your good customer service. Customer areas need some repair, ie. Torn seats. Good sized portions, but just so-so in flavour. I ordered pancakes with sausage cooked inside them. There were 3 large pancakes, but they fell apart, the bottom peeled away from the rest of it and they were quite bland. When on the road, I'm trying to stop at small local places rather than the large chain-names.... Hhmmmm

I cant figure out why the 3.8 overall rating tbh. I feel it must be due to an older look but as far as food and service goes... I went there with my husband to wait to pick up an order from a company. The food was delicious and amazing portions. The eggs benny and breakfast poutine were delicious and the French toast was great (and my husband is picky about his french toast). Like 10/10 on food. 10/10 on service. Completely impressed overall. Will be back when we're in town again.

Came in here for breakfast on a Friday morning at 7am, we decided to get away from our normal spot for something different for a day. Boy was that a mistake. We were the only ones in there when we got there and the waitress walked us to our seat and threw the menus down and walked away. Didn't even ask us what we wanted to drink. When we got our food everything was Luke warm or cold and also our order was not correct. When we told the waitress that something was wrong she scoffed and said well I guess I'll just go and throw some more on. We were very polite about this I'm not sure why she got upset. The only decent thing in there was the coffee. Unfortunetly we will not be back.

Food was okay. Ordered the Ribeye and eggs, got strip loin and eggs. Service was mediocre. Felt like I was putting the server out by asking for a water. Bathroom stalls don't lock. Overall 5/10, only place in town must not feel like they need to put in the effort.

From start to finish!.... Not so good. We walked in and waited as all the servers pointed at us.... I am assuming they all did not want to seat another table. I can tell right away that there is no experienced sever. We finally sat down and our booth was filthy, I wiped it down myself. Let's just say the napkin was black after only a couple wipes (actually gross). We ordered drinks which took a little to long to get. A random totally different server asked if we wanted drinks we said we ordered awhile ago. Our orange juice is not anything you would be use too. It come from a wholesaler of nothing you've ever heard and taste like floor cleaner. Grapefruit juice is Tropicana so order that. Oh and I must say you don't get refills unless you get up to ask. They think they are busy but they are not, the true lack of experience in the food industry shows. Now our food..... Ever get pancakes and got no maple syrup after asking twice! Yep that was great. Food lacked quality and workmanship. Dry omelette and greasy potatoes. Honestly save your time and money and please invest in better local companies that care for woodstocktarians. Trust me there is many great places to eat in this city. I hope this helps, make a better experience somewhere else. You can tell there is lack of care here. (Also I don't enjoy eating while my servers body odour is stronger than the food I was served smelled.)

Even heard one of the being rude to a customer and his young son. It's a pity but there is alot of attitude in this place.

I can't say I really liked this place and probably would never eat here again. My wife ordered crepes (which is usually my favourite) but thankfully I didn't order this because it was horrible. It was way too sweet and stuffed with canned pie filling. The students waiting on the customers were friendly and hard working but unfortunately the food was not up to par.

We've been here 3 times now and two of them have been unsatisfactory. Offered coffee but it never came, asked for coffee and it never came, second time asking it finally came. Ordered Western omlette with cheese, onion piece were gigantic and couldn't taste anything else. Home fries were good as usual.

A table next to us had big coffee cups ( ours were half the size @ 2.25 a cup ) we asked why we didnt get big cups, her response was they come in every week, so we give them big cups. The decor was so tacky and mismatched ( look at the long wired lamps just stapled up every which way). I Definitely wo t be back to this dump dive...dont waste your money...go to miss woodstock. ????

We've been going here for years and things have changed for the worse, so disappointed. We waited over an hour for our breakfast and our waitress had to argue with the kitchen staff who lost our order. We came in early and there were only 3 other tables so it wasn't busy then but most of the tables that came in after us ate and left before we even received our food. A manager should have come out to apologize, though they did give us a 40% discount. AND the bathrooms were FILTHY. The coffee was terrible. Only reason for two stars, our omelettes were excellent (salmon, avocado, spinach, cheese). We will be looking for a new breakfast spot.

Decent and clean restaurant. Not the most modern but it does have "Heritage" in the name. The wait staff (at least ours) wasn't the most friendly. The portions are huge and food tasty, which is a big plus. However, during elections, they display their political leanings on big signs out front. Weather I agree or disagree with them, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Extremely poor service, food either overcooked or undercooked. Our waitress did not smile once. Ordered Heritage breakfast with over easy eggs and crispy bacon, as well as veggie benedict. The bacon came burnt, it crumbled and was inedible, had to call waitress over and when he said the bacon was burnt she pulled out her pad and said you ordered crispy and argued to what crispy bacon was. She took the plate back to kitchen and came back out with new bacon which was in a pile stuck together. Half of it looked uncooked. Called her again and she picked up the bacon with her hands and said it's not raw, no apology, nothing. He left his meal and left the restaurant. As I tried to eat my breakfast she walked over tossed the bill on the table without looking at me or saying anything and walked away. The Benedict was overcooked, poached eggs did not run the had solid yolks. The hollandaise sauce was thick, minimal and looked like it had baked on the eggs. The home fries, half of them were under cooked and hard on the inside. Would not recommend and will never go back. A waitress serving another table who came in after us but got their food well before was the only one to see if I wanted a coffee refill.

Ordered from Skip and won't order again sadly. Food was pretty pricy for what we got. Everything came soggy. The french toast we ordered with fruit, but the only thing it ended up tasting like were the bananas, you couldn't even taste the toast or other fruit because it all tasted like bananas. We also ordered a chicken caesar wrap, and it was so bad I had to spit it out. The lettuce was brown and rotting, the chicken was rubbery(tasted like frozen brand), it was just all around bad. Those were the worst things we ordered, our other food was just bland and soggy. Maybe the food is better if prepared in house, but our current experience was not good.

Not good at all. Our server was ok. Ceaser salad was watery, no flavour except the powdery fake parm cheese that tasted like vomit. The butter chicken was hot but not much real flavour of the spices and had maybe 1/2 a chicken breast in it. We will not be back. We told them of the issue and it was brushed off.

It was a pleasure having some food over there. The food was the best ever had in Woodstock. The server was so nice. She was asking all the time if there is any extra wish or need. I surely recommend it and don’t go with the bad review. Loved it and will come back to have a meal.

I truly wish that I could post a positive view but cannot. We are in the age that if a independent business especially a restaurant can not deliver personal service unlike what the big chains can deliver - they will fail. I liked the ambience, albeit dated it was the diner feel I was looking for rather than a sterile one. I was told, not greeted by a older lady with her hair tied back to stay there. Because I was carrying a book, I assumed she took me for a salesperson. Since the restaurant only had a handful of people, I decided to seat myself. She shouted over if I wanted a menu, I said yes. She put it down on my table, she turned to walk away and I asked her for a glass of ice water. I was then scolded and told that was the reason she asked me to wait up front so she could seat me and bring me a menu - I was shocked and walked out. I often drive through Woodstock and passed by this conveniently located restaurant and unfortunately will never have the desire now to experience it.

They gave us old milk/creamer for our coffees they didn't cook the eggs or pancakes all the way through and they gave us dirty forks and spoons and knifes. I was not happy at all I was very upset about how they didn't cook the food all the way through and giving us old milk/creamer for our coffees and the dirty dishes.

Came here for the first time with my family. My dad in a wheelchair. The staff were really rude and said his chair would be in there way. Then was rude when we were ordering our food when we didn't know all the details to give them on our choices. This wasnt just one person, multiple women were rude during this one visit. I could have cared less if the food was good or bad after this. ( it was terrible) It was not a pleasant experience.

Tried this place out because I like to support local. My review is DO GO HERE!!!!! The fruit cup I got literally had mold on it and hollandaise was clumpy. When I told the server about the mold she went to get the manager and he did not even come to speak to us. Really this place is a joke. I will be informing the health department and hopefully they get shut down.
