Don't need to say much they sell alcohol and for most parts most people know what they want when they go here but if you don't their staff will help you find it!! Ps can't wait to see this place once renovations are done!! Hopefully they get more options in then!!

I always feel like I'm walking on eggshells when I make a visit. I look young for my age, I guess. I immediately get strange looks when I walk in and I'm asked for assistance constantly. I guess it's not a bad thing for service, but when you're asked if you can be helped 3 times in 10 minutes when you're deciding what you want can be irritating.

Security is rude. No sign stating only one occupant allowed in screening area, even though your capable of social distancing more than 6 feet. I entered when someone was getting there ID recorded and was told to get out rudely. Although I complied but person came in after me when my ID was beibg recorded and was rudely told to get out. PUT UP A SIGN STATING 1 PERSON AT A TIME! Stop being a goof to customers who are socially distancing.

Purchased a product due to the suggestion and guidance off a staff member there. When I opened the product the odor that wafted out was one that immediately contradicted the information provided by the staff member i spoke with. Upon tasting the product I was definently disappointed with my purchase. I will of course find a use or mix that will work with my purchase but it was not to the level I would consider for sipping. Surprisingly the less expensive alternative was still the better product. Be careful with staff recommendations, look into the product first if you intend to make a change as the supposed training that is Apperently what separates them from private establishments in other provinces in not worth the time put in. Privatising might be the answer, maybe then we might receive better knowledge bases.

Great staff at this location. Need to have more than individual selection for cold products. Use the cooler to have options for a 12, 15 or 24 pack of cold beer or other products. All you need is a sign to indicate what cold options there are.

While there is a lot of very friendly staff working at the Transcona liquor mart, there is one female staff member who never fails to remind me of my best friend's always disapproving, bitter, disdainful mother mother who strongly lacks people skills or perhaps the old school religion teachers wielding the classroom meter stick in warning to anyone who dare breath out of turn. Lighten up! This is a job. You are not even tall enough to ride that high horse you sit on!

I see people are trying but it is against protocol to remove your mask after you have put it on as it increases your risk of transmission of pathogens from your mask, hands and face. I understand people need to be ID'd but the security guard touched her face and mask to demo mask removal and then right away handed back my licence without sanitizing her hands in between. The proper protocol for clients would be to let them know before entering that they will need to remove their mask. This way they can wear a new or clean mask. Then ask clients to sanitize their hands before the mask removal to minimize their risk. If you are going to implement health protocols please ensure the standard is at the level suggested by MB Health.

Great staff, most of them know there stuff. Store is rarely busy so they provide better service than many other Liquor Mart's in the city. Selection is limited by the size of the store, but they tend to get the new releases and have samplers in on some Fridays and weekends so you can try the products.

Somewhat disappointed, they tell me they only sold 6 bottle of Gilbey's Lemon gin in the last year and that no one buys it! Well guys, I buy it. Now I have to go to Plessis or Regent to pick it up. Its a cool refreshing drink for summertime sipping. Better then some of that squirrel piss you sell for mucho dollars!
