We've got the opinions of real people like you who buy the services of Antoinette's Restaurant (Winery) around Whitehorse territory (Canada).
To this day this business receives a rating of 4.4 out of 5 and this rating is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is quite good, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we can think that the score is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to set feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

excellent food tiny portions
Incredible food with reaaaallly good flavour! Get the spiced ribs, you won't regret it.
It was fun night ringing in the New Year @ Antoinette's. Good food, good wine and the music was excellent. WELL DONE, Antoinette and Michael. Happy New Year.
(Translated) Those who complain about the service probably want to be treated like royalty. The reality is that the service is first class and always attentive to your needs. Prices are high, be prepared to spend but instead they are dishes that merge very original elements: Caribbean and Canadian flavors. The dishes, it must be said, are not the best. Nothing spectacular and maybe that makes you not come back. Delicious fries as well as brie cheese for starter. There is live music at night so it is very nice to eat so they are also good artists.
Wonderful Caribbean influenced food in a wonderful eclectic setting. Our waiter was friendly and informative. We had a great time.
Great meal. Authentic taste, happy to have stumbled upon them.
A different experience in Caribbean African food. Unexpected tasty.
Some of the most authentic and inventive Carribean cuisine available anywhere in Canada. A must for me whenever visiting Whitehorse.
Food was very good, music was live, however, service was very slow.
Exceptional good food, ive been all over canada and its one of my favourite restaurants !
(Translated) Good food the very small amount. I was hungry and out of money (Original) La comida buena la cantidad muy pequeña. Me quede con hambre y sin dinero
Excellent. Must eat here.
(Translated) The owner chef is a friendly and attractive woman. He came to say hello to our table, a traveler from Japan. Each one presented a beautiful rock salt in a small bag. On the paper attached to the bag, the lucky keyword was printed in Japanese by PC. It was a memorable service. The food was delicious and I was satisfied.
Amazing food. They seemed a little understaffed, so although the servers were working hard it took a while to get our food, but we weren't in a hurry.
Delicious!!! 100% worth all your time and money. Whenever I visit Whitehorse it is a must stop for me.
If you are a foodie in Whitehorse this is a place you have to try.
Very Very Yum... International Cuisine? Caribbean Yum!
We had dinner here while visiting Whitehorse, all excited about the hype with it being on tv etc but unfortunately the experience was lackluster. First we were seated at a table that was still dirty, cup stains and stay couscous was still on the table. We asked if we could get it wiped down and we're directed to another table.. But no one actually wiped down the first table while we were there. It was pretty quiet when we arrived, and then by the time we started eating we were the only table left. The restaurant was just quiet, what a weird atmosphere, finally they put on some music and that made it better. The food was so so... The service also not the best, no one came to check if our food was ok, our water things were refilled after our appies arrived, but after our meals arrived, nothing, no contact from the wait staff.. We finished our meals and nothing.... We had to call out to get our bill. The food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything to write home about, the portions were ok, leaning on the smaller side of things. This was around 6/7pm so right in the middle of dinner time so not sure what happened. Maybe we came here on an off night? We see other reviews critical of the new owners, and unfortunately our experience confirms that. Hopefully they can turn it around.
The food has personality and is very hot and fresh. I think it's the best restaurant in town. The plates average $20 to $25. The salmon melts in your mouth, ribs fall off the bone and the ice cream is delicious, you can tell it's made in house! It's a busy place, reservations may be a good idea since there is seating for probably 30 to 40 maximum at once
The food was amazing! I have ordered past and the bread on the top was spectacular! Service was delightful! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a chill night with some delicious food and drinks.
Lovely dinner! The nights special BBQ was very tasty with a glass of sorrel sangria and the guacamole salmon was excellent. Enjoyed the atmosphere, service was not overly attentive
Great food! Good service!
I ate here on a Friday night with some friends. The food was good but the service was extremely poor. Our server only came to our table twice - to take our orders and deliver our food. We ran out of water and drinks. I had to get salt for myself from another table. We even asked another server to send her over but it didn't happen. We went to the front to pay, we were not brought our bill, and the server did not apologize for her complete lack of attention. I will not be returning and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The other must-try restaurant in Whitehorse. Antoinette is the owner and all of the dishes that they serve are her own personal recipes. She visits the tables as time permits and is super warm and welcoming. I highly recommend dinner here especially if you are travelling solo. Live music plays here as well (not exactly sure which days etc.).
Nice atmosphere. We had some great food. The roast pork was a special on that evening.
Excellent food with a Carribean flair. Very popular. You will need to make a reservation at least for dinner on the weekend to make sure you get in. Seating can be a bit crowded.
Great atmosphere, people and food!
We enjoyed every single dish we ordered. The salmon was the best salmon dish I have every had. Staff was friendly. My vegan friend also enjoyed his vegan option.
Food was good service was excellent. Mango spring rolls YUMMY! Garlic potato turnover......gotta get them!!
It is always amazing food.
Delicious elk burger. Loved unique flavour of toppings
Sad they are closed for a while..#
Excellent food, good ambience, service was fine. It is on the expensive side but the food fully justifies the cost.
we love this place. you can't go wrong. huge selection. wonderful atmosphere. and antoinette is lovely. we eat here every time we are in whitehorse.
Great food, beautiful atmosphere and great price. Good size portions, we were too full to order dessert and if we weren't leaving whithorse so soon we would have gone back to sample their dessert options another day because they looked yummy.
Decent place in Whitehorse with some interesting dishes but a bit pricey for what you get. The curry was not as flavorful as hoped. The bitterballen were interesting but the combination with rice and fries is odd.
Unique atmosphere with great service. Food was good. Will definitely come back to try other menu options.
I tried Caribbean food and it was awesome!
Very good food and service! If you are in Whitehorse don't miss this place.
Very nice staff. Eclectic ambience and an intriguing Carribean fare on the Menu. Could be a little bit on the pricey side but is quite likely to be worth it for someone looking for variety.
Great place!
Absolutely amazing food, was upset I was full or I would have tried more on the menu. Can wait for my next meal there!
Food looked very good but the service was terrible. We ordered and waited, and waited and waited. 45mins later we finally asked if our food was possibly forgotten and were told no, it's on its was. 10 minutes later we were asked what we ordered. That's when we left disappointed. As I said before the food around us looked very good but the service was terrible and I'm pretty patient.
We are from out of town and wanted something different. The food we had was excellent. We had the zesty guava bar q chicken wings, Tocho which were hand cut fries and we had them topped with the Caribbean spiced pork and finally Tantans macaroni pie. All was excellent with a carribbean flair! We shared it between three people and had more than enough to eat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was great and people were friendly.
I've always enjoyed the attentive service and delicious food here. Highly recommend.
First meal in Whitehorse will be tough to beat. Beautiful flavours and creative combinations add up to a dinner as good as I've eaten anywhere. Warm atmosphere only made it better.
Fort and service was great
Very nice place, great food. Excellent service
In Whitehorse for one night only and Antoinette's was close, excellent given the temperatures. I had a carribean beef stew which made my tastebuds sing. And who would have thought, up here in Whitehorse. Lots of other non-carribean menu items as well that made for difficult decision making. I highly recommend you visit Antoinette's while in Whitehorse
I enjoyed eating here because the food, music and people were most excellent. Try the float bread, "few things better than deep fried bread", said my better half.
Not bad.
The service was great, but the food was even better. You gotta eat here and you will not be disappointed
Great service! Very accommodating to client's needs.
Great food and service!
Came here for appies and had the most delightful smoked salmon with mango salsa, really cool fusion of local foods with a Caribbean twist!
Love the small menu because it is quality over quantity. What Antoinette's does is done well. They have a specials menu which is worth looking at. Lovely spot for a laid back, yet romantic date.
Best Caribbean/Trinidadian food I have ever had. Especially friendly service.
The food the atmosphere the whole experience was amazing!!! Thank you for sharing
Wonderful food. Wonderful service!! Unique flavours.
Delicious food, excellent service & great atmosphere. Go with a friend & share the five course feast for two. My friend & I were happy we got to try a selection of dishes & left satisfied.

What good food and great people!
A bit pricy, so be prepared. But food is awesome.
Good food
Delicious food, lovely ambiance, and wonderful staff. Antoinette is very passionate about her cooking and her patrons. She frequently circulates throughout the evening, ensuring her diners are completely satisfied. This is amongst our favourite date-night spots.
The food was amazing. Tasty and great presentation. Don't expect a fast in and out for your meal. But enjoy the experience and food.
Gluten Free Goodness is a welcomed choice for those of us who require that option when dining out and Antoinette's is able to provide that with their gluten free menu options. They are aware of cross contamination practices and ensure the staff are trained to provide a gluten free meal to those requesting it. My many dining experiences here have been pleasurable and a treat for the pallet. Thank you to Antoinette's from the CCA Yukon Support Group.
Wonderful Tobago Trinidad cuisine with a francophile twise. Lime it!
Good food and nice service
Great place to eat
We stopped in for lunch this summer as we walked by and went back for dinner. Amazing food (gluten free too!). Unique dishes, cool atmosphere & super friendly staff.
Delicious food..not the norm..friendly staff
I really liked the food. Fresh and tasty, although the prices are a bit high.
Awesome....Caribbean food in the Yukon!
Really liked the atmosphere and friendly staff
Absolutely Wonderful. Antoinette is a delight and the food is out of this world good. The atmosphere is great. We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed great time with friends. Highly recommend.
Carribean influenced food in Whitehorse? Yep, and it's very good. Make reservations or go early, gets crowded quickly.
Loved it. Authentic and tasty
Good food. Good service. Nice atmosphere.
Excellent service and I especially loved the great lime ice cream!
Such a great place! We shared the "You gotta eat here" dinner for two. The lamb was seriously the BEST we have ever had. You could really tell our server loved her job. Keep it up!
This place has really great ambience and fast, friendly service. By far the best restaurant in Whitehorse that I've been to.
Wonderful food and staff. Different taste than most things in Whitehorse.
Good fish, beautiful place, nice staff.
Had an amazing Sunday brunch here, definitely coming back! Trinidad and Tobago Benedict was brimming with sweet and savoury flavour and was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the hospitality of the owner, James, as he told us some of the new unreleased dishes he planned for their cosmopolitan menu. Highly recommend!
I had dinner here on my first night in Yukon. I decided to go there slightly earlier before dinner time (~5.30pm) as I didn’t have a booking. I was glad I did because the place was packed soon after. I had the “Crispy Guacamole Salmon on roasted sweet potato topped with corn salsa”. I loved this dish – the flavour combination was great! Salmon was nicely cooked and the whole combination was delicious. I came back for a take-out on my last night since the foods are amazing. I had the "Halibut TnT in light coconut-tomato curry on coo coo with fresh spinach and float” and “Chocolate Rum Truffle Cake” for dessert. Again, another amazing dish. I really love the curry and the fish was cooked nicely. As for the dessert, definitely could taste the rum there! It was a bit heavy for me though.
Favorite restaurant in town.
Great ambience and the best food in Whitehorse.
Amazing food. It has to be the best place to eat in Whitehorse.
Jamaican fusion. Owners are very friendly and put love into every dish. Live music in the evenings. Great place for a group or even a romantic date.
Best restaurant in Whitehorse! Great food, great atmosphere and great service. The price is spot on for the quality of food, I could eat here every day. (Amazing deck space in the summer as well)
(Translated) The food is not good, it lacks a lot of flavor (Original) La comida no es buena, le falta mucho sabor
Amazing Food Outstanding Service
Just watching on “You gotta eat here” . Loved the comment on WPF!! White People Food. Ya, that’s not racist at all. Tired of the reverse racism. I’m sure the owner is nice but really? Ya can’t have it both ways.
Amazing food! James was great serving us. Definitely would recommend this place if you like Caribbean food or want to try something new. I had the spicy pork dish and it was very good, tasty and spicy.
Awesome food. Great combinations of flavours in every dish
Greatest place ever
Delicious food and great service enjoyed it with my wife and 2 kids!
I am a repeat visitor of whitehorse and this was my first visit to antoinettes. It started out great: Delicious appie platter, and snappy service. Main courses came; (pork stew and jerk chicken) they were lackluster, pork was very sweet & fatty and the jerk was bland. The second round of drinks we ordered (2 triple shot cocktails *dont judge) seemed to never come. Eventually they arrived with almost no ice and not very tasty. On the menu it states that all cocktails ($10) contain 2oz of alcohol. To upgrade to a triple, 3oz drink the cost is +$3. When the bill came our server informed us that she only made our drinks with 2oz's of alcohol, yet charged us $13 per drink. I pointed out that this did not line up with what was written on their menu. The server went to talk to the manager and came back to our table stating that the menu was wrong and needed to be re-printed. Much to my surprise; the customer is not always right, and the "incorrect" menu wasn't held accountable. So the $13 per horrible drink charge remained and the bill was paid. When I make a mistake I take responsibility for it, and do whatever it takes to correct the wrong. Antoinettes seems to feel it is above common customer service, and proves with the above example that it doesn't care about its customers.
WOW. Totally blown away by the food. A must visit.
Great atmosphere, good service, delicious food.
First try Caribbean Food! Love it! Nice service
great food let down by mediocre service
Superb. Best prawns (spicy in garlic & basil butter served with float) that I can recall!
Not a great place to go for your one hour lunch break - didn't get to enjoy my tasty lunch in the beautiful atmosphere.
This food is just ok. Ordered an Asian dish and the taste isn’t authentic neither twisted well. Also it’s very oily. Perhaps I’ll try burgers next time.
A lot of people seem to confuse expensive with quality and Antoinette does a great job encouraging that. The food looks great but flavour and quality is pretty terrible. Add that to the slow service and you get the worst restaurant that I've been to in Whitehorse. I wish that they spent more time worrying about how the food tastes and less time focusing on how it looks
Fantastic Valentine's day dinner
This place is under new management. It's transformed from Caribbean themed food to international. The collection of Eggs Benedict is amazing. Traditional Eggs Benedict, to Middle Eastern lamb, Dutch style elk meatballs to Filipino sisig. They have a very nice bison burger which is heavy and very filling. They have fried polenta sticks with a Thai sweet chilli dipping sauce and mac and cheese sticks with a truffle mushroom sauce. Really innovative cuisine you wouldn't think you could find in Whitehorse. A definite must visit.
Great place to lime and to enjoy a fabulous cooked meal. Thanks :)
I miss the original owner of this place, it had a good vibe and the food was amazing. The new owners definitely need to work on the interior decor. The food was good but nothing special, the service is very good and the staff is very friendly. I had the rib eye steak which was a bit salty and too spicy. The grilled beef kabobs were ok, but nothing to brag about and the peri shrimp was just average.
Really enjoyed our evening here! Our appetizers and meal were delicious, so many great options we had trouble choosing! So much flavour, we enjoyed every bite. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, keen to help us out. Will definitely return, don't miss this place!
Pretty neat little restaurant. The menu is not very large but the food is good. Very different type of food compared to what you would normally find. I have the spicy Caribbean pork. I didn't find it to be spicy at all. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable of what the dishes were and how to explain what things were similar to.
This is our number 1 place to go for dinner when we visit Whitehorse, and we're picky. Friendly staff, and the food is amazing! Also great cocktails!!
Different from the typical tap&grill in town, blend of different specialities. I was greatly surprised with the Mango Spring Rolls. Missing slight finest, close to high end restaurants. If you need a change from Burgers, I encourage you to try it!
Amazing Tobagan restaurant in Whitehorse. You must stop here if passing through.
Small menu but always AMAZING! Great Caribbean food!!
Excellent
I ate there 2 y ago and I kept of very good memorie from that place until I went back 4 days ago... Not the same anymore... RIP.
Always a delight! Excellent service, superb cuisine, and attention to detail made for a wonderful evening!
We had a great meal! Exellent food a vibrant atmosphere and attentive service. Don't miss Antoinette's.
Awesome place! Lot's of veggie/vegan options! Very very delicious food.
Food was good but not great. Staff were very friendly and eager but very disorganized. Do close to being so much better.
Amazing food! My girlfriend had the chicken curry stew which we shared because it was just that good, like I wish I could eat this every night. I ordered the bison burger with cranberry and caramelized onions, and a side of frites (fries), the fries were insanely good and perfectly cooked, but I was so underwhelmed with the burger and "coleslaw" when you think of coleslaw you don't think shredded carrots and a fancy piece of spring onion, with no dressing or season.. and the burger was just bland with no taste of cranberry or the sweetness of the onions. What looked like a homemade bun was also sadly bland. On a lighter note the service was incredible and the ambience just the same, we had the coconut créme brulee for desert which sadly was pre made but still very delicious, although the caramelized sugar on top was far to hard from being in the fridge.
The best food we had in Whitehorse!
Didn't like it at all. Very slow service. Small portions. Overpriced. Chicken was dry and tasteless.
Everyone gushes, but after 4 mealsn frankly it's just ok.
Who would have thought Carribbean food in Whitehorse Yukon? Very good and the place is nice and cozy.
4 of us went for the global brunch and all went away thinking our meals were quite bland. Nothing really to write home about.
Great food; great service; great wine. Our first (not so) hidden gem in Whitehorse :) Thank you Antoinette for a great start to our Yukon adventure.
Was a beautiful dinner with great service. Arrived and the owner was extremely funny and good sense of humour. Entree chicken wings were to die for and the ribs were amazing. My partner had the salmon and enjoyed it as well. Would definitely go there again.
(Translated) Excellent refined food, with a lot of flavor. Something to awaken your senses and amaze your taste buds. Only problem, the service is a bit long. Otherwise it's fine (Original) Excellente bouffe raffinée, avec beaucoup de saveur. De quoi réveiller vos sens et épater vos papilles. Seul hic, le service est un peu long. Sinon c'est très bien
Attended a group dinner at Antoinette's with about 8 other people. I had the steak, which was very tasty and tender. There was a mixture of choices selected by the participants, and judging by the empty plates and commemts of contentment, all ejoyed their meal. The service was good, and everyon'es dinner arrived within a reasonable time frame.
(Translated) It seems to be ordinary food for the price. (Original) 가격대비 평범한 음식인 것 같습니다.
Antoinette's was delightful! I'm an Australian traveler just stopping through Whitehorse. :-) I ordered the Macaroni Pie and Yukon Fog Soup, the house red wine and the Ruby's Cheesecake... The service was good - the server was friendly, and checked in regularly but appropriately, also. The Macaroni Pie was out of this world! The Fog was also delicious and the float that it came with was great, too - a delicious bread to go with the soup. The house red wine was very good for the price. I would strongly recommend all three. The Ruby's Cheesecake was delicious, however I don't think it was particularly special or unique, but a typical yummy cheesecake. I'd recommend it if you like cheesecake but I think there are other desserts on the menu that are probably better and more worthwhile trying. If I go back into town I will definitely try Antoinette's again - there were many more items on the menu that I would've loved to have tried. As a side note, there was wifi also and it was very fast and great connection! :-) Thanks for a great time, Antoinette's!
We enjoyed all the food, choice of food as well as the ambience that it had to offer!
The best
Friendly staff, good food and something different from the ordinary
In Whitehorse, it's a must. Really good Caribbean food. Excellent service
Disappointing, thought it would be better. There are way better places in Whitehorse. Staff is not trained, they literally told us they have no idea what is good on the menu. We ordered one dish without spice due to allergies, they totally disregarded the request and brought out two spice dishes.
As always, excellent!
We ate here three times during our stay in Whitehorse. The first thing that struck us was the wonderfully eclectic Caribbean inspired décor. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. Our first meal was delicious. Because of this we came back a couple of nights later. I had the Guava ribs which were melt in your mouth delicious, but the vegetables were so salty I couldn't eat them. We didn't let this deter us and we came back again. I ordered teriyaki pork loin. I asked the server to please request that my vegetables not be salted. When the meal came I was disappointed to find that the so-called pork loin was just a pork rib chop in a sauce that was so salty I could feel my blood pressure rise by the end of the meal I couldn't finish. Oh and the vegetables were still quite salty. It's too bad because the restaurant and meals could be great.
Excellent experience and delicious food! Highly recommend. Perfect place for date night!
Great food wonderful personal staff.. warm atmosphere, great decor
tasty
good attwntive service, neat atmospheres, mediocre meal that seemed to be comprised of dishes that were freshly prepared days befor and reheated when ordered with the exception of the potato rosti amd carrot coconut salad both of which seemed to be fresh.
Great food, great service! A must eat here if you’re visiting WH
I ate at Antoinette's twice and was not impressed with the service and food. The first time, my dish was so hot (and I normally can tolerate hot spicy food...) that I could not even eat it. I asked for a replacement, but all I was offered was sour cream to soften it. I was charged full price even though I had barely touched my plate. I then got convinced by friends to give it a second shot - service was super slow (got served after 45 minutes) and the burger was overpriced for what it was. Still wondering why people are so in awe of this place - maybe I have had bad luck twice...
