Delicious wine (the Symphony is a favorite) and fun atmosphere! Bill was a great host! They allow you to bring your own snacks, so I would recommend bringing a picnic to pair with the wine.

Wow, the inner machination of this winery is amazing. They have a lot of very great wines. Great place to spend lots of time, close to Fort Collins, very comfortable and relaxing. The owner is very personable and friendly. If you go on their website they offer some good deals often. All of the wine is priced fairly.

We totally LOVE the place and everyone that maxes it possible. Everyone has got to make a point to go there and take in everything about 'Ten Bears.' It has breathtakingly beautiful views all around. The wine is amazing and the owner is a complete joy to be around. He was very helpful to converting our friends to the now new "Wineys" in our group during our tasting. He helped be helping them understand how to and what to look for in a good wine. They even found what they now love. Thanks Bill.

These guys know what they're doing. Most of their grapes come from the western slope but they grow some on site too. I had a flight and every wine was distinctive and complex. Bring a DD though, cuz it's near impossible to get a lyft out there.

My friends and I have been trying to visit more local wineries. So far each experience has been wonderful up until this one. The wine was delicious and I felt safe going to the winery during the pandemic, being that we were all sitting outside. The environment was beautiful and if I based this review off scenery and wine it would be 4 stars, however, the owner of this winery was completely and utterly rude. Normally I let most things slide when going out, but I felt I had to comment on this man's customer service. Immediately as we got there, he didn't even say hello just out right started telling us that he really didn't want us ordering flights and if we were we should think about doing something else, because he was almost out of glasses. Well we ordered flights, because that was the whole purpose of our visit. Brushing off his attitude we enjoyed ourselves until we decided we wanted to try one more glass. As we walked up to order another glass, again without checking how everything was he says. "I am not opening another bottle of altitude for you so if you want altitude order a bottle or order a glass of something else." If it was close to closing I could understand this, but it was still 2 hours away from closing. Thankfully neither of us wanted altitude and settled for something else. I will not be going back and I sure as heck will not being buying Ten Bears Wine. He is the owner, you would think he would want to be nice to his customers but alas he was a complete a**.

Californian's visiting Ft Collins family. Visited Ten Bears and really enjoyed ourselves. Bill, the owner and winemaker, very knowledgeable. Three of us thought everything we tasted very good. Bought 3 Merlot and the Hazelnut port. When we visit family in the future we will stop at Ten Bears again.

We visited late Saturday evening (5:30ish) hoping to enjoy a glass of wine and the sunset, and we did just that! We loved our experience at Ten Bears, and had a great conversation with welcoming owner Bill. He even let us sample two bottles we were torn between to make sure we got the right bottle for us. We ended up picking the American Symphony and I wish we got another bottle. Oh well we might have to go back sooner than we thought. Thanks again Bill for sharing your beautiful space and delicious vino!

Visited this winery on a Thursday during the posted open hours. Winery was not open! Called the number listed, but no answer. We went 30 minutes out of our way to visit, but left disappointed!

Had yet another wonderful experience at Ten Bears Winery. Me and my wife absolutely love visiting with the owner, he's a very attentive to customer service and provide a very kind welcoming environment. The flights of wine were all spectacular, and made it so hard to decide what bottles we wanted to bring home. We live in the Denver area, but always worth the drive for the best tasting yet affordable wine in the state! Highly recommend Ten Bears to any fellow wino in Colorado.

I love the ambience and the wines. Beautiful location. The only caveat is that you are charged what I assume is a gratuity and never offered a receipt. On my 37$ purchase I was charged 51$. I more than likely would have left that amount or greater, but it’s annoying when you aren’t given the option. We have a party of 2, so it wasn’t like a large party over 6 when you expect an added gratuity. Just my thoughts.

Great location with the best local wine Colorado has to offer. Grapes from California are picked up fresh for most of the wines, but for a real treat try the Marquette made exclusively from Colorado Slope grapes!

I absolutely love this winery. It's not a far drive from the CSU area, and the atmosphere is really laid back. I haven't tried a single wine of theirs I didn't like, and it feels a lot less pretentious than other wineries in the area. I would absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing afternoon stop.

I was at a wedding. I went to get wine And they told me to go find a Plastic cup for my wine. I came back with a plastic cup only to find the other people who were in my situation were given wine glasses. The wine was good but the service was terrible.
