Went with my boyfriend and had the most wonderful time! The atmosphere was beautiful, service was great and we felt very safe - we went because they had an outside heated covered patio overlooking the vines so eventhough it was a cold and windy winter day we were comfy and safe and enjoyed their delicious food and wine. We highly recommend the Vidal Blanc, Truffle Flatbread, and if they have a special "donnoli" available GET IT!

Poor service. Also, they told our large party of 12+ (yelled at us in fact) that we could not combine tables. No less than half hour later other parties arrived and combined tables and nothing was said to them. My advice: if you have a rule enforce it for EVERYONE or don't have the rule at all. Never going back to this place.

I have been going to Sharrott since it opened. It's true that it's a pretentious winery for the area, but the quality of wine used to be better, the location is perfect for meeting my family and friends and the live music almost never disappoints. We have also attended the Wine and Music festival many times since it always lands near my birthday, but after this year's experience I will never be back to Sharrott. It all around wasn't great this year but we made the mistake of trying to get a tasting from the Sharrott tent around 4pm. The man whose attention we finally got to pour a tasting was incredibly drunk and inappropriate, making VERY inappropriate comments towards me and telling stories about sexual comments he made to other guests of the winery. It was harassment and we left immediately afterwards.

Hands down enjoyed our time here! Was here this past Saturday for a birthday celebration and this was our final destination of wine tours. We were greeted upon entry and taken to our reserved area immediately. There was social distancing throughout the venue and masks were required in the common areas. We sat outside at the fire pit making it a more intimate setting. The food on the menu was amazing! I had the Asian Crab Cake Sandwich paired with the Crimson Wine and my husband had the pepperoni pizza which was so good that he ordered another. I also was able to taste the mushroom and truffle pizza which was very flavorful as well!

Today was my first time here at Sharrot and I’m more than disappointed. I paid for wine tasting of six wines. Then when they handed me the card, I couldn’t believe that three of the eight red wines were completely sold out! I don’t drink white wine, so I had to ask for a refund. What?! Why would I go to a winery for tastings only to find out the reds are gone? smh

The grounds are beautiful, but service from some of the employees made the experience one for which I will not return. Joi was horrible. She had no interest in serving us and was very rude not only to us but to everyone that walked in. We were also surprised when we overheard a conversation between her and another employee who had answered a phone call. The customer on the phone was asking for a group reservation. Joi was visibly upset (prob that she would have to do some actual work) and told the person on the phone to call back mon-fri - Instead of being helpful. If you can’t meet the request take a message and be polite on the phone. Just plain be polite. You’re working in a service industry. Leave all your baggage at the door and try not to ruin everyone else’s experience.

Between the incredible wine (which I am missing terribly as I live in florida), the delicious food, and the fun events and games they have at the ready it is an absolute must go for anyone who loves wine and fun times! Sharrott Winery is everything! We used the vineyard to pull off a proposal and surprise engagement party. Thanks to Arden and the staff at Sharrott we pulled it off without a hitch! I have no clue how this isn't a perfectly 5 star rated winery. It's new, beautiful, and the product is high quality. They have events every week and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. You can tell the owner(s) are very meticulous and invested in their business. The only thing I would like to see in the future is more interactive additions like shuffleboard tables, a pool table, etc. Great work Update: I have now attended many trivia nights hosted by Mindy. She keeps it unique, is very creative and is an outstanding host. She really knows how to keep us all entertained on Wednesday nights. I highly recommend going to one of these events.

I’ve been coming to Sharrott’s for many years with family and friends. My last visit was unpleasant to say the least. This winery no longer allows outside food, you cannot move chairs around, you must make reservations at the front desk or you will be yelled at by rude employees. You are no longer allowed to seat yourself and you must have a server at your table. We are extremely upset by this as we loved “old” Sharrot’s before this “corporate-like” renovation. Though the atmosphere is nice, you are treated more like a “restaurant guest” than a “winery guest.” My suggestion is that there are plenty of more wineries in the general South Jersey area that you are treated more like a “winery guest” and are not as stingy. Very upset with their recent “list of rules.” We’ve always loved Sharrot’s!

Live Music, ambience and Wine Tasting was lovely, however the food was another story. Over priced for small portions of low quality food. Items were not as described on menu (pork fried rice = minute rice with thick cut bacon. Chicken and Bisquick waffles was grilled chicken coated in a sweet and sour sauce. Very strange) The Guacamole was delicious! We left still hungry which was a bit of a bummer but the wine certainly helped. We will definitely buy the wine again but we won't be eating here again anytime soon.

Waited 2 hours for tiny portions of bad food. But at least there was deafening music being played by musicians who were barely awake. If the place actually offered coffee at brunch, they could have given some to the band. The staff was friendly, gotta give credit to a waitress who can keep you somewhat satisfied after 2 hours of no food. Also the decor was impressive to look at while we sat in loud misery struggling to think of reasons to wake up tomorrow.

Went for a weekday firepit experience. $10 for max eight reservations required. Buy wine by glass or bottle. Nice list of food to compliment the wine. Buffalo mac and cheese, flatbread pizzas, cheese trays etc. The evening we went they also had live music. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and we made smores! Enjoyed summer and peach sangria wines. Will visit again.

This place was very wide open and spacious. All the employees we super nice and engaging! The wines were delicious! I bought several bottles as gifts and I’m kicking myself I didn’t buy any for me! I am bummed we had eaten lunch before we got there...next time I would like to try their food out. Many wineries I have been to only have a cheeseboard available but this place has quite a lovely selection for lunch. I will have to try out their menu next time as well.

Second time my wife and I have gone. Found the wines very good and atmosphere very relaxing. We really enjoy the outdoor patio and the live music . We haven't experienced any poor service as I have read in other reviews. Actually, the servers we have had have been quite accommodating. The only negative we have is while the food menu is limited but quite good as we have tried several of the flatbreads and cheese platters, most are overpriced. Paying $12 + average for a small flatbread is about $3 over priced as are the cheese platters $2+ too high. Other then that, it's a great place to relax , listen to music, have some very good wines, dry and sweet and enjoy the surroundings . We'll be back again as the fall weather will provide for even more comfortable evenings at table #124 !

This place is just simply amazing. We have been coming here since 2016. The smaller building they had was warm and inviting. The winery that is now, is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is just lovely to have a relaxing lunch and enjoy some fabulous wine. Arden is the manager and she is one of the reasons we originally fell in love with Sharrotts. She made our first experience so memorable. We always stop to chat with her when we visit. We live about an hour and a half away but we visit at least twice a year, if not more. Arden does a fabulous job at running the winery and making guests feel welcome. This visit we had the pleasure of having Krissy as our server. When we go back, we will be asking for her section. Not only was she super friendly, she was very attentive. She is someone you feel like you have known forever, with her wonderful personality. The food is delicious and I highly recommend Trio…. It’s a dry red blend. They have so many great wines. So, if you have not given this gem of an establishment a try…..make a reservation now! ????????

Atmosphere nice, good entertainment, food mediocre.. Ricotta and honey, disappointing, no flavor except the honey; flat bread pizza, sparse toppings; buratta cheese platter was the best. Hostess wasn't very attentive to our party of 3. I liked it better when it was a quaint, informal patio but I guess all the wineries turn out this way in a few years. Cookie cutter, high cathedral ceilings, prices and formality. Used to take my daughter there on Friday night. Enjoy the music while she would roam around the lawn, enjoying the night air, the crickets and frogs chirping. Simple fun for both of us. They also had mini manicures and we were able to bring food. Great memories. Too many rules now.

The Chardonnay is great, but that is the only reason I might go. The atmosphere is pretentious. The owner will spend plenty if time joking and talking to his wealthy friends and acting as if the other patrons are not as valuable (or the building blocks if his business). This winery belongs in Cape May to fit right with those personalities.

Lovely wines. We had glasses of Pinot Grigio and Dry Rose with a Caprese salad and Marguerita flatbread. The flatbread was fantastic .. rivalling those I have eaten in Rome. Bought two bottles of our dinner wines. Easy transaction, just added to our dinner bill. Worth the trip!

Beautiful place to spend an afternoon. COVID precautions are scrupulously followed. There is plenty of space between tables and all staff wear masks. You have to make a reservation ahead of time. It's very easy to do online. You can choose between three seating areas. "Lawn seating" means tables on the grass with big umbrellas. "Covered patio seating" means tables on a large outdoor concrete terrace with a roof. Heaters hang down for colder days. "Indoor seating" is just that: tables in a large indoor area. We came on a Wednesday at 1:30 pm on October and the outdoor terrace was surprisingly busy. Wait staff were quick and attentive but our server knew next to nothing about the wines. While none of the wines were outstanding, we generally liked what we tried. We had the Vidal Blanc (good), Sauvignon Blanc (good), dry riesling (ok), the Vignole (good but unusual). We also tried the Chambourcin, a red, that we liked but it was delicate, changing depending on what we were eating. The food selection was excellent and included multiple items marked gluten free or vegetarian. The cheese plate was very good and the waiter offered to bring me GF crackers. (Alas they were terribly stale). The fingerling potatoes were excellent as was the soup of the day. The brussels sprouts were good but could use some seasoning. We enjoyed our visit and would return again.

Went for wine tasting and felt completely ignored. The employee was much more interested in another couple that was doing a tasting beside me and approached the owner Larry? The employee seemed to be more concentrated on what they were saying then to tell me anything about the wines or to even make any suggestions. It was more like he was eavesdropping. I tried to strike up a conversation and gave up as did I give up my interest in these wines. I would have stayed for trivia night but after that I figured it was not a place stay or do business. Found myself at another winery I was treated so much better and bought wine for several gifts!

Sharrott Winery has taken two steps forward, but a few backwards as well since they've opened their new building. Need an extra chair for your table? Too bad. You can't move them around. Want to bring in some chips and dip from home? Too bad. You're no longer welcome to bring in outside food. Do you want to buy food from their kitchen? You better do it the second you walk in, because you'll be waiting the whole evening for a simple plate of guacamole (I'm not kidding. We waited nearly an hour for a single plate of guacamole and chips). To me, that's completely unacceptable. There's no doubt that the atmosphere and building are exceptional, and our server was excellent as well, however, if the winery is going to force us to purchase their food now, they could AT LEAST get it out of the kitchen in a more timely manner. Otherwise, let us bring in our own cheese and cracker plates. Still, our group always has a nice time when visiting, and the quality of their wine is very good. On certain days, they have live music, which has always been excellent. While the location does have it's newly minted shortcomings, it's still a fine location to spend time at.

First off the staff is amazing! They greet you as soon as you walk in and make you feel comfortable! The location is excellent for sunsets for a romantic getaway or just a way to relax and have a glass of wine. The wine selection is great with a good mix of reds and whites. As for the wine, wow! I wasn't a big wine guy myself but after a few trips I've come to appreciate it. Definitely worth a trip if you're checking out wineries in the area. During the summer the live music is great and you lose track of time. Outdoor seating during the warmer weather is a good breath of fresh air. I'm a fan of the dry Riesling! Overall great experience

It is my friends Birthday. I wanted to take her out to winery for a nice evening with full meal including couple bottles of wine spending around couple hundred $. Her favorite cake is carrot cake which winery kitchen does not offer. I called ahead and asked if we spend couple hundred $ can I just bring one slice of carrot cake for her bday. Staff could care less and started quoting me their policies. Well I guess I will spend my money for wine and food somewhere else. My family and friends are regular quests at Sharrott winery. After this experience not going back there ever again.

Sharrot Winery is a very nice place. The room for the wine tastings is large and never seemed to be overcrowded. The staff that did the wine tastings has always been fun and upbeat! The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that you only get to choose a few wines to taste out of a large list. However, once you are finished the tastings there is a very nice outside area that you can sit and drink a bottle of wine that you purchase. You can also bring whatever snacks you would like. Its even better when that is live music!

Love this winery. The atmosphere is wonderful. We went for dinner tonight. The entertainment was soft background music. We had roasted brussel sprouts with potatoes, flat bread with tomatoes, and salad with blue cheese and walnuts. Everything was just wonderful. You don't expect this quality of food at a winery. Wine was good as was the food, although it peaked at the cheese plate. BUT when we were reminded we had to leave in 30 minutes before all the food was served it was very disconcerting. I understand that wineries have time limits but when there are six empty (and cleaned) tables around you, I have to wonder if the server could make an exception, especially since we all would have gotten more wine. Maybe go there post covid, or pound down a quick one and leave.

They were warm and soft and lightly salted served with some great mustard. We ended up getting a bottle of wine and have plans to go back in two weeks to try some more brunch items. Oh and the musician was excellent. You should try it.

Mother’s day brunch. Table of 18. About 8 of us waited 2 hours for a single morsel of food while the others were already finishing their dessert. The music was terrible and the band looked like a hot mess. They looked like they fell asleep 10 years ago after a wild night and woke up late for work that morning. Our server told us that they were “expediting” our food and finally when it got to us, my French toast soufflé was half raw and the other side burnt to a crisp. The kitchen staff took Their sweet old time making subpar food. I should have ordered a bottle of wine and had a liquid breakfast. I would have spent less money and been more satisfied.

This was my first time here and my girlfriends and I did the wine tasting then had dinner afterwards. It was wonderful and we had a great time. If you have a big party don’t bother coming here to relax and hang! They don’t take reservations and I waited over an hour and still no table. I was told they wait for 2 tables side by side to get available for them to seat so therefore if you came with a smaller it was first come first serve. They should have some lounge chairs or entertainment for people waiting to get seated. Very disappointed since we brought my mom here for her birthday!

Went for Murder Mystery Dinner. The waitress made a very rude comments so i ask to have a different waitress. Salad was okay. My chicken was undercooked and cold and rosetta was ice cold. Thank god show was funny. It is a shame cause they used to be great. But I will not be returning to Sharrott's anytime soon.

My first time coming here a few weeks back. It is a bit of a drive for me but lovely place. They take socially distancing seriously and have plenty of space so the tables are spaced out. You can sit on the patio or the lawn. They initially didn't have umbrellas but they do now so you are covered even if you sit on the lawn. You can make reservations easily online. Which I like because you know you have a spot. Even though it is a limited food menu still plenty of good choices. The staff were all very friendly. I wish they were closer to my house or else I would come more often. They have live music during certain times. You can try a flight of three choices it gives you the option to try before you commit to a whole bottle.

The best dry riesling in NJ! ☆☆☆Update☆☆☆ Honestly, we liked this place SOOOO much better before the incredible new addition!!! But we miss the small tasting room, barrel room, and the back shed & sweet porch. Always getting Ardith at the tasting bar was WONDERFUL! The award-winning wines are still delicious, but it's always a madhouse inside, and some of the new staff at the hostess desk are not friendly or welcoming at all. Terms have changed in club membership, which is disappointing. The free tastings for members have been dropped to 1 between each quarterly shipment. This used to be our fun date night, and a great place to bring friends for free tastings. At $10 a tasting now, I'd rather buy a nice bottle of Sharrott wine and relax at home!!!

I have been to a few vineyards in south jersey and they have been mediocre. Sharrott the best showing thus far with a nice menu and some decent wines to pair with. They had live music on a warm spring evening which tied everything together for a complete experience in their open air venue.

Nice, relaxing environment with a nice selection of wine ,good food, and music. Unfortunately there are many flies inside and dead flies along the window sill. I've done plenty of outdoor/ patio dining recently and flies are not uncommon, but they have more than usual and the sill needs to be cleared of the dead ones. So don't get a seat near the window and enjoy.
