Loved the tasting experience here! I booked my tasting online; when I arrived they had a table reserved for me and started me with a delicious vin gris of pinot noir. Shortly after I was served a tray of 6 delicious samples and some tasty nibbles to enjoy with them. The table overlooked a fountain and part of the vineyard and was shaded by an umbrella. Well worth the fee and the most relaxing wine tasting experience I have had. All the golden-eye pinos were delicious and the migration pinot noir was tasty too.

My husband and I visited Goldeneye during a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Pinot is his favorite, so how could we not stop at the "Pearly Gates of Pinot?" We loved the tasting experience and the grounds. We became members and are looking forward to our future shipments!

The wines were superb. The outdoor seating area was a little slice of paradise. Doug could not have been any nicer. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about wine and the Anderson Valley. We have already recommended Goldeneye to friends and family, and we WILL BE BACK!

This winery is a must visit ???????????????? The wine is amazing and the scenery is just as spectacular! I love coming here on a beautiful sunny day. The backdrop of trees behind the vineyards makes it feel magical. I am always looking forward to returning.

I have been to Goldeneye three times now and have always had a nice experience. I really love their Pinot Noirs, and I bring friends and family here when they visit from out of town because of the delicious wine and great view of the vineyards and valley. One negative is that they apparently do not offer industry discounts to folks who work in the wine industry, which was a bit disappointing during my last visit.

I had a horrible experience here today. Four of us arrived here today at the advice of a wine taster from another tasting earlier in the day. We showed up around 430 and proceeded to the counter. I looked at the tasting menu for the day and noticed the $15 charge and politely asked the server if the tasting fee was waved if we purchased. I was told no it wasn't. My parents decided they were going to split the tasting. My girlfriend and I contemplated whether or not we wanted to taste or not and whether we should split a tasting. The server in the meantime decided to pour two glasses of a white wine and said it was complimentary whether or not we decided to taste. My girlfriend and I opted to not taste so my parents each took the two glasses of white wine to themselves. My girlfriend and I proceeded to get water and explore the grounds. In the meantime my parents were seated outside for the Pinot flight tasting. We found our way over and seated ourselves with them as they tasted as we were curious what they thought. That maybe we would come on a different day. It was at that time that my parents informed me that the server told them, while my girlfriend and I were exploring the grounds, that he wouldn't have served me even if we would have decided to taste. If that was the case then why did he pour us a complimentary glass of white when were deciding to taste or not. That was a comment he should've kept to himself if he felt that way. He had no right to make that comment behind my back to my parents and insult me. It made me feel so small and immature. I made a responsible conscious decision to not taste and it should've been left at that. Nothing more needed to be said. And if he felt the need to say anything at all he should've said something to me personally. There is so much good wine to try, but unfortunately I won't be returning to taste here.

Trying to find tasting res during co-vid is a stressful process but Goldeneye made everything exceptionally seamless. All their staff prioritized safety (mask and cleanliness protocol) without sacrificing hospitality and warmth. We had Doug taking care of us, he was genuinely kind and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the wines and view and were happy to sign up for their wine club. Thank you to everyone there working hard to keep us all safe and still enjoying the simple pleasures of life!

Beautiful grounds. We just didn't like any of the wines. Nice, attentive staff but the wines lacked flavor, overall hard to drink. Disappointing.

Great service. Great wine, pinot. And even better views and grounds. Why only 4 stars? Although everything about this place is top notch, I'd rather have that cozy feeling instead of big corporate winery. That's why I come to the Anderson Valley and not Napa. I like the coziness of the Anderson Valley, I don't want it to become Napa. But that may be inevitable.
