Fantastic outdoor space. Wines are really good for the area. Very limited food options. In house beer brewing. Beer is OK, I wish it were better. Bands tend to be good and there is always a good, friendly crowd. Service is good. The only real gripe is that they close at 8:00Pm on Saturdays.

Pleasant atmosphere on patio .the sandwiches were average priced and tasty, the wine sampler averaged about $10 and bottled about $20. Reisling sampler was good with water bottle and goldfish crackers.

This is the 2nd time my husband and I took our 2 small children to see these Hot Air Balloons....what a huge disappointment and waste of time!! NEVER again will we attend or recommend this event or any other events that Debonne Vineyards puts...I feel that Debonne Vineyards will say that they will have these balloons “just to have them blown up” but they will never fly them ???? Honestly, the weather couldn’t be more perfect last night, no rain, no wind....what more did you need?! Our son has autism and lucky he didn’t have a meltdown so we were able to leave peacefully...I just don’t get why host a event that all your going to have is Hot Air Balloons that stay on the ground and never go up, all we got to see is the 6 Balloons playing “games” and wasting their gas for about 30ish mins.! What a joke, you keep this up Debonne Vineyards, and your going to eventually lose business!! ???? I didn’t mind paying the $5 to park, but I’m definitely glad I didn’t give them any more money while we were there...????

Perfect day to drive out to Debonne Vineyards. Did a wine tasting with 3 cheeses sausage and crackers and we tried the spicy meatballs too. Music dancing and relaxing. The fall colors on the trees were all around. Beautiful. Bought Cabernet Franc.

DeBonne should be ashamed of themselves! We went there today not only for the jazz festival, but to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When we got there, 90% of the tables outside were reserved. Unacceptable! Probably won't be back and I hope a lot of others who frequent DeBonne will feel the same way. Poor show!

After visiting several other wineries in the area, we found Debonne to be the best experience, the most affordable, and friendliest staff/service. Oh yeah, their wine didn't taste like crap like the others (cough ferrante cough...). Make sure to visit and try their fresh pressed grape juice if available.

Awesome winery (and brewery). The wines are very, very good; they are consistent; and their prices are reasonable. We take all our guests here when visiting the wineries. I can list all the wines we like, but that would be all of them, so it is best to go taste them yourselves. Had our first Pinot Grigio Sangria last weekend. Wondeful! Always coming back for more. They have a wide selection of beer too, and all of them are great. If you never visited, I would recommend ordering a flight or two of their wines. They even offer a flight of all their beer.

I really liked that Debonne has a separate tasting room from the bar. I visited on a Saturday, so staff was very busy, but friendly. The wine was pretty decent. They offer a large array of wines, from white to red, dry to sweet. The $10 flight was underwhelming, but the souvenir glass was a nice bonus. Un-Oaked Chardonnay, Pinot Noir-Syrah, and Pink Catawba were my favorite.

I stop here every time I am in the area, it is a must for me. The grounds are beautiful and the wine is one of the best. Even the cheese plates and the food they have blow some of the locally wineries out of the vineyards. The only draw back is every year it seems like they have a new menu so when I come back the follow summer they don’t have it anymore.

They have a good selection of quality wines (red & white, dry & sweet), and a good selection of beers, brewed on-site. The grounds are nicely landscaped. On Friday nights they bring in a live band. This is a great place to visit.

Had a great time here. The staff was friendly & gracious. Food was delicious. (Get the blackberry almond brie!) Wine and beer (from double wing) were both really good. I got the premium red tasting for $12 that included a souvenir glass, chocolate & pretzels. This place isn't fancy but it's cozy, quaint, relaxed & reasonably priced. I would def recommend!

Great atmosphere and great wine! The Moscato-Riesling is a must have if you like sweet wine. They have bands on the weekend and an outside bar that serves wine and food. Last but not least, there are two bocce courts that you can play on for free. We had a great time!

Stopped on a whim,,,,asked serving staff a question and was rudely answered....asked for a sample of Ice Wine and was told, I could only get it in a glass....purchased the glass of wine. Decided to sample another and was told by that person they do have samples of ice wine, they stated the server was just busy and did not understand what we asked. Busy or not, we left and went to another winery up the street and made a rather large purchase there....I do not think I will return.

The grounds of Debonné Vineyards are gorgeous. There are several different sample tastings to choose from. There is also an onsite brewery with a variety of beers to sample. There is an outdoor restaurant as well. There is plenty of seating outdoors and indoors, and during the summer months there is live music. It would be easy to make a full day of this vineyard and hang out all day. The staff are all very friendly as well.

We had such a great time here. The atmosphere is relaxed and very comfortable. The interior is a little dark, the weather was beautiful, so we opted for outside tasting. Even the wines we don't usually like were delicious. The food was limited in choice, but generous in quantity and quality. The staff was quite knowledgeable about their wines and very service oriented.The setting is just beautiful. The vineyards are rolling and make you forget what you left behind

Really really nice place. My work has a Christmas party here every year and they set it up so beautifully. Their wine is AMAZING. Personally I think better than other local wines and I drink a lot of wine. Their staff is so nice and their prices are really reasonable. I love Debonné and it’s also a really nice place if you want a romantic night out with your boo.

Went to the balloon festival today. Had pay parking. Place was very crowded. Food & Drinks we're very high price. Balloon festival was a joke. Only 3 balloons blew up, didn't even take off. The weather was perfect no wind. If this is what Debonne calls a balloon festival they are sadly mistaken. Not worth the price of parking.

This Vineyard/Winery/Brewery is my favorite spot in Geneva. Love so many of the wineries there, but something about Debonne and the wine/beer/food they put out is both high end and welcoming. If you are traveling in NE Ohio, especially near Geneva, you owe yourself a visit here.

Beautiful in the summer sitting outside at shaded tables or inside in cool air. First time in winter, and it was warm and welcoming. Perfect for a warm quiet visit with friends. They support the fine arts and donate to the groups from the sales.

We came out for the balloon lift, and had dinner with friends. My wife and I each ordered chicken sandwiches. My sandwich was half cooked (physically one half was cooked, the other side was rubbery). My wife's sandwich was partially cooked in one section. I returned mine to the counter when I bit into the partially cooked section. The cashier was helpful and friendly. The cook/supervisor that she referred me to was argumentative, and dismissive of my claim. She then said she would give me an appetizer. I asked for a burger (which was cheaper) and was told no, just the appetizer. I ordered nothing then. The cashier approached me later, and said she was having them cook me a burger. I refused at this point, and thanked her (she was pleasant). On the plus side, I ordered the Butter Pecan Porter, and it was awesome. The balloon ride was fun, but short, it lasts about 2-3 minutes.

Continues to be our favorite among the area. The beer cheese hot dog is the best thing out of Ashtabula County since fried walley. Great service, and atmosphere whether it's Winter or the beautiful middle of summer. Funnest atmosphere of all area wineries. Wine is 4 out of 5. Atmosphere is a 6 out of 5. Although I moved away from the winery's area years ago, I visit when I can, at least once a year. My first visit was about 49 years ago, not long after their opening. Some businesses strive for consistency. The Debevc family has gone beyond that and has continually gotten better. The product offerings have expanded, service is always great with employees showing a sense pride and concern for the guests, and the quality of the wine continues to be exceptional. While growing from a small family operation, they have stayed true to their roots. Tony Sr.'s favorite wine was Niagra (now called Chairman's White in honor of him) is still offered. It's my favorite. When you find Tony and Beth behind the bar, they show their passion and friendliness that explains it all. Congratulations on almost 50 years!

The only reason this place isn't a 5 star is the confusion about where to sit, order food, and drinks. What we discovered is that you can sample at the bar and take to your seats. Cheese plates have to be ordered at the bar. Food has to be ordered outside. This was hard for us because we wanted to sample wine, order a cheese plate and get an appetizer. So we kind of needed to be in both places at once. It was not convenient. With that being said, the staff was friendly, although we did encounter one older woman who was less than pleasant as we had taken a bar menu into the dining area. We were chastised for our violation. The soprano plate is everything great about drinking wine and snacking. Finally, the wine flight for $7.00 gives you 8 samples and a small souvenir glass. While you're relegated to a pre-made set of samples, there is enough to pick from in your taste preference. Oh, and the beer was not very far from the bar and their wide selection should mean something for everyone, even a pilsner-style beer similar to American brews.

Definitely an asset to the Northeast Ohio wine country. Service here is beyond any other winery you'll go to in the area and the tasting attendants, brewery staff, and gift restaurant employees are incredibly hospitable. Wine quality is definitely better than a lot of the other well-known wineries in this area and very affordable too. It's easy to spend all day here tasting, eating, and just relaxing. You can't go wrong with a visit here.

Debonne is one of my favorite wineries in the area. They have very sprawling grounds, with lots of outdoor seating and live music. Their tasting room is also quite nice. I could take or leave the bar area, why do we need animal heads? Despite not really enjoying decapitated animals, I don't think they make a whole lot of decor sense outside of log cabin lodges. That complaint aside, Debonne is a great place!

Obviously at a new place it always make sense to try a little bit of everything and something for aftertaste(cab sauvignon glass 8oz). Long story short, amazing service, amazing design and place, amazing people with great atmosphere, and last but not least the wine. OMG, opens up all the chakras. My favorite will be CASK 2. We always enjoy Debonne. Last night (Friday night) we went out and listen to the band they had playing. Holly's Uncle make for a great fun environment for everyone. Covid was respected, tables were always clean the wine was great and the food was OK. Not my first choice for dinner out there. The band made for a great environment though and we can not wait to go back and see them when they are back.

Came for the hot air balloon event and the balloons didnt leave the ground, the food was not good. Every steak was well done which runs the steak, we were promised caramelized onions and balsamic glaze and got some grilled onions and mushrooms. The salad literally had no dressing at all, zero. Also I paid over $35 a ticket and $40 on wine to eat on paper plates and high school cafeteria trays. They're were people demanding for $5 'donations' for parking when it did not say that anywhere when we purchased the tickets. They staff at the outside wine bar was rude and inconsiderate when we asked questions about the wine since we had never been there. Overall, just a terrible experience for a winery we were trying for the first time. We will not be back

They were sure to explain everything in detail immediately upon our arrival and answer all questions! The scenery and winery itself are absolutely beautiful and we loved the tray tastings! Such a cool and enjoyable atmosphere! Wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back! Without a doubt my favorite of the wineries!

This is our second year going on the hot air balloon ride. The service was incredible both times. I went on with my son and wish I would have brought my camera to get pictures of the insane view. Love the sangria and their atmosphere is perfect for summer.

My wife and I love this place so much we were married there. The wines are not world beaters (what do you expect in Ohio?), but vey drinkable. Where they excel is at creating a fun atmosphere. Nowhere better on a sunny summer day. They bring in terrific entertainment and the outdoor dance floor is always busy. Some of their events can draw large crowds (balloon launch), so it is a good idea to bring chairs just in case. If you can't have fun here you might want to consider unbunching your panties. Love you Debonne!

Saw the Razzleberry wine at my local Heinen's and thought I'd give it a try since they are a local vineyard and, let's be honest, what sounds more delicious than raspberry reisling? It was truly amazing how they managed to blend the essence of expired cough syrup with the cheapest vodka they could find! And all while maintaining the subtle undertones of rat poison and warheads from Halloween 1994!! My only complaint is that there wasn't enough in the bottle to make me vomit, just enough to make me call off work the next day sick as a dog. Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't think their large $5 pizza will be enough to ruin their night!

We enjoyed our time and the food but one of our group of four didn't get their food until the rest of us were done with ours! Had a great time. Just dont know why you could use your card to buy food outside, but couldn't use it to by alcohol outside. 10 ft apart. You had to go inside to buy your alcohol using your card. That was very inconvenient. Would go back. Great atmosphere. Great entertainment. But please get rid of the "cash bar". Not everyone carries cash anymore. If you can use your card for food and inside alcohol, you should be able to use your card for outside alcohol too.

I arrived to Debonne for the first time this Saturday at 8pm and luckily i was so turned off by their rude help that i left before trying the wine. Apparently they close the wine for private parties on Saturday nights, but they still let other patrons in, and then rudely ask them to leave if they are not with a private party. Save yourself and go to another local winery, i wish i would have read the reviews before trying this place out. We then tried South River Winery and it was fantastic.

Debonne Vineyards is probably the best known and most visited vineyard in the region and for good reasons. Debonne has been producing excellent wine and craft beer for many years. On my last visit I tasted the 2013 Vidal Blanc ice wince and I was very pleased with it. It's not overly sweet, it's well balanced with hints of pear.

We visited Debonne for my mother in laws birthday yesterday and were treated terribly by the staff. We arrived with a group of 9 after calling ahead of time notifying them that we were coming. They were friendly upon arrival, greeted us and explained the different wine options. They said no more than 10 people should be sitting together and lucky for us we only had 9. However, there weren’t any tables big enough for our group, so we tried pushing two together. Apparently that is absolutely frowned upon. Management came storming over yelling at us for moving their tables. Offered a 6 person high top table for us (keep in mind we have 9 people total) to sit at, but there weren’t even enough chairs in the place to accommodate 9 at the table she suggested.I was honestly shocked at how rude they were. I will not be bringing my business to their establishment ever again.

Great place to spend a Friday night. They have live music, good food and great atmosphere. If the weather cooperates, sit outside and order food from the grill. Our favorite is the Margherita pizza. The grill closes before the main restaurant, so check the website if you plan to arrive late.
