Lindon House

The wines were fantastic here and so were the ciders. The host has juice for the kids and we were able to bring our dogs with us to the tasting. We will be back here the next time we are in Kelowna.

Cory Mo

Such a cute winery! I personally love their Bling canned sparkling wine, and enjoyed every wine I sampled. Very friendly staff and super approachable!

Greg Abramoff

Loved their ciders. Some of the best I’ve tried in years. Was slightly disappointed to find them in superstore for half the price. Normally you get a better deal from the estate.

Nathan Rose

Love the wines and ciders. Something for everyone. But the real reason we always enjoy ourselves is the tasting with Dianne. She is the best. Funny and informative. Also, the new Infiniteas are super good.

Awesome chocolate fondue and wine tasting with hubby at The View Winery on a Friday night! ???? Try it you'll like it!

Nolan Dyck

We really enjoyed our visit at this winery, the owner is a very nice person and their wines , the Gewusztraminer and the sparkling wine are really well made… thanks again for your hospitality. Marc and Catherine

Seth is fantastic! They are an entrepreneurial winery, and have taken interesting steps to broadcast their award winning wines! Well worth the stop for a quick tasting.

I have been here 2 times, twice with a group of ladies, you MUST ask for Dianne! Her customer service is amazing they are so lucky to have her ( being in the customer service myself). We had picnics In The vineyard so delightful and relaxing!! Second time around they had out sourced the charcuterie platters which was very disappointing BUT Dianne saved the day again by sprucing up the trays by simply listening to our suggestions she is AMAZING!!! Note to the management. In this time of COVID It was much safer the way you delivered the individual trays when we were here In June for a big birthday group. Plus there were fruits and olives and veggies which was wonderful for those people that like a variety!! We love your spot it’s intimate and beautiful!!! We came here as part of a tour and enjoyed our stay. We sampled 5 or 6 different ciders and wines. The explanations of the host were helpful and she had some good stories to tell. We got to vist the cellar as well. I would recommend if you're visiting Kelowna and the surrounding area.

We visited The View during our wine tour with Uncorked. The location is excellent, even without much of a "view". Our tasting Sommelier was very polite and educated on the product. Lovely story behind the red shoe. We purchased a couple bottles, and enjoyed an incredible lunch of charcuterie boards on picnic tables located right in the apple orchard. The only issue we had was, there was a blonde girl working there who was very pushy and rude. Relax, people are trying to enjoy themselves.

Very quaint and stylish. Great cellar and distillery which has a unique origin too. The cellar door server was knowledgeable but super friendly. The wine tasting yielded a few bottles of purchase. Well worth placing on the tour list.

The young lady who served my tasting today was great and I enjoyed the wine. I'll be coming back.

Excellent, great experience, amazing and friendly staff, wonderful tasting.

Alyssa Saran

Great wine, great tasting experience. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about thier wine. One of the best Syrah I have had in canada.

MacKenzie Ramsden

Always a great experience at The View! Their wine and cider is delicious, a couple favorite items are their cans of Bling (sparkling white wine) and their new tea infused ciders, so delicious! The staff is always so welcoming and helpful. The View also hosts fun events like fondu night which I'd recommend for a fun date night!

Josh Henry

Super quaint winery plus cider. Diane was excellent and very knowledgeable.

A shoe symbol, haven’t seen that before. Okay, I have, though with The View, it actually makes sense—a pleasing romantic tale permitting The View to claim that icon and outplay the others. And it is romantic, almost saccharine—the type of scene that if in a movie, you’d want to punch the leads in the face and walk out of the theater. But in real life, you tilt your head like a curious puppy and cry “Awwwwww” until just before running out of breath. So, they get a pass on the shoe, but not on the name. I mean, The View, is it owned by four women who spend their time away from the winery discussing social, political, and pop culture topics with a tendency to ignore observable evidence? The location doesn’t benefit from a particularly great view. The View is a member of the Fab Five, shared with SpierHead, Vibrant Vine, Camelot, and House of Rose, and they all sport superior vistas. But The View is not inferior in any way as a contrast. It’s just unfortunate that both Vibrant Vine and Camelot all enjoy better themes in better-looking locations, and thus are more desirable to visit. The View I would argue may be the better winery. The tasting flight is cheaper. The hosts are knowledgeable. There’s a lot of variety to choose from including dessert wines. And to saddle that selection with ciders is positively inspired. The location is roomy with the shoe theme carrying across the entire location. It’s a little peculiar the building is effectively split in half, with one side divided by a sliding door, leading to a rustic, more sanitary area featuring another tasting area and raw, unfiltered production equipment. I walked into that area twice, worrying it was off limits, but no one stopped me. On both visits, this colossal space was empty. The main store is also narrow, with not a lot of room around the tasting area for larger groups. As for the wine, as I said, it’s vast, over twenty offerings with many unique to this winery. On our first trip, we picked up a 2012 Distraction Frizzante, their sparkling wine, a surprise given my opinion of those (it’s low). It was on that trip where my girlfriend and I had hit up 60 wineries over a week, bringing back 120 bottles. But we loved the location so much, that when we lead our friends on a similar journey only a few weeks back, we visited The View again, this time snagging a truly distinctive fortified white wine. I never even knew there was such a thing a white wine port/fortified. I like what The View offers. It’s adorable in its theme, admirable in its selection. I can’t speak for the cider, as I’m not generally a fan, but it’s a cool alternate reason to visit. The View is the reason you hit up all members of the Fab Five. There’s no one location that missteps. I may find two others better, but The View is the one where I may respect their history and their owners more. I haven’t met them, don’t know them, but after visiting and drinking, I kind of think I do, which only this winery has been able to do.

We came here because of the red high heel theme. The wines were good and thought they had a good selection of grapes for the region and terroir they are in. I found the building was a little disorganized, the staff was friendly but nothing was over the top here.

Jay

The winery was a pleasant surprise. The lady that served us was very pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable, great customer service. It was very clean with a modest tasting area. The best part were the wines and ciders which were exceptional. I would highly recommend you stop and give them a try. We were allowed to walk around the orchard which was wonderful. It allowed for a great overall experience. It was exactly what we were looking for and would 100% go back again.

Daniel Lafreniere

What a great experience! The wine, the ciders and the hospitality! We stopped at this location while on a wicked wine tour, and hands down the BEST one we stopped at by far! Make sure you taste test both the wine and cider - you will not be disappointed!

Katherine Hind

Just a great all round winery experience. Highly recommend!

We did the Sip & Slip event this January where we went for a snowshoe in the Vineyard then had fondue and a wine tasting. The staff were amazing and the food and wine delicious. We felt so pampered by the end, it was a very special experience and we can't wait to go back.

Blair D

Enjoyed the vibe here, especially in the back bar area. I could see hanging out here in an evening with friends for drinks. Nice store with fun signs, shirts and cups with sayings on them. Cider as well.

Morgan Mclaren

The View Winery and Wards Cider has the best of both worlds. No one should have to choose between wine and cider! Beautiful location with kind and knowledgeable staff! I highly reccomend going for a tasting!

Grahame Thompson

Amazing! Wonderful experience here at The View. They have so many different wines and ciders to try and they are all very good! I have to say that the young girl- Lindsay that did our tasting was awesome!! She did a great job telling us all about The View and how each wine/cider was special. Their wine shop, barrel and tasting rooms are beautiful and make for nice scenery. We had a great time at The View and would highly recommend it to others to put on their wine route!! EDIT. We have been back 3 separate times after this first amazing experience and it never has been as great for reasons of staff just being less enthusiastic and fun but we do love The View and some of their wines and ciders. ——On our 3rd visit we brought more family! We had a younger man with red colored hair and glasses. He was very good at his job and very well spoken I must say. Honestly though the whole tasting just felt too rehearsed and there was very little “wiggle room” for customization to each guest or party. I know that the staff are the experts behind their products but it would make more sense to ask what kind of wines/ciders you like, then ask if you want suggestions or do you want pick out what you want to try. I know it’s not right to jump from sweet to dry or back and forth from sparkling to red/white etc, but in the end there’s gotta be some free space on our behalf. The last part which was disappointing was we had raved about the Winter Spice Cider to family and then during the tasting our guy said it wasn’t open and we couldn’t have them try it ... :/. It was about 15minutes from closing time so that was my guess that it wasn’t worth opening. But then as we were leaving, another group was trying it. What the heck... So I asked for just my family from Alberta to try it as we almost left and he obliged. We all bought some. It is very good and we have a good stockpile of it for winter. Thank you.

I live up the street from this winery and decided to stop here with my visiting family on our winery tour. As soon as we walked in, the ladies working treated us like we were trash. We started the day doing the tour at Mission Hill and can say we definitely did not look like we were “walking in off the street”. We were headed to a friends after and my sister-in-law still wanted to grab ciders nonetheless. Even when choosing what we wanted they lurked over us and for no reason sassed my brother who has never been to kelowna while we paid for the ciders. Can 100% say I will never be bringing anyone here ever again or recommending this place to anyone. On top of all of this the cider and wine were garbage. Do yourself a favour and just visit upside cidery and stick to real wineries.

Tj Nyce

We did a wine tasting here through Wicked Wine Tours. The hostess was amazingly funny and the wines were excellent! Don't forget to eat Miss Vicki's Salt and Vinegar chips with your chips!

Damien Prud'homme

We had a wonderful, welcoming experience at The View Winery. The white wine was crisp and refreshing the sparkling was 'delightful' and the reserve red ....amazing. …

Jen Bloom

Great stop on your wine tour meandering! Quaint old barn for the tastings and processing. Tried a to die for Winter Spiced Cider! Can’t wait to share with my friends this fall.

Emily Noonan

Came here during a wine tour and it was a great experience. We tried different wine and ciders, and heard stories about how the winery …

Pam Desjardine

Not very well organized. The place was not busy yet our party of 4 had to wait almost 10 minutes to do a tasting. Staff was friendly enough but they need a better process to deal with groups. Also annoying that it's cheaper to buy their product at the liquor store than where it's made.

Chris Dias

Unfortunately showed up right before closing time, but was hoping to do a tasting with my group. Since there was no time, we asked if we could grab a drink on the patio. One of the ladies said rudely “I don’t know what you’re asking”. While my partner was in the store buying several bottles, the same rude lady asked me if she could help me with something trying to rush me out the door. I’ll never go back. My family lives down the street and won’t recommend them to anyone moving forward.

Howman

Really enjoyed my wine tasting here. The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable about the wines that she was serving. You have to try to the canned sparkling wine - it is phenomenal! I got 2 six-packs of the white sparkling wine and I can''t wait to find an occasion to break it out!

Sam Newth

Friendly staff, great wines and ciders. Would definitely recommend.

Nadine

An incredible wine tasting experience, we were lucky enough to taste most of their offerings. Almost all of which were excellent, they run the gamut of dry whites to hearty red wines. Also check out their ciders, the tea infused varieties …

Sue French

Dianne was great! Knew her stuff, was really genuine, and you can tell she enjoys her job. Really nice building and atmosphere as well. Great wine! Will definitely be back!

Marc Pouliot

Lovely location that ironically does not have a particularly fantastic view considering some at other wineries but with music and tables in the orchard it is homey and welcoming. Diane lead our tasting and was friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining without being too over the top. I decided on the cider tasting, which was a great option and a nice break in a day filled with wine. I loved every one of the ciders presented and the information given about them. They were all different from what I expected and all delicious. Wine selections were also excellent and very much enjoyed by other members in my group. We experienced 6 other wineries on this day and the View was a highlight and a favorite

Brenda Schell

Ciders and Sliders hosted by the View Winery set amongst the orchards was an exceptional way to spend a Saturday afternoon! The live music and excellent food truck options were also on point.

The ladies working here are beyond fantastic! I tried a sparkling wine for the first time, it was super refreshing awesome for summer. If your looking for gifts for a wine lover you should definitely go here.
