Very cute little cidery. Their cider is fantastic and we were privileged to be able to speak to one of the owners who was happy to answer all of our questions. Great spot during the warm months as they have outdoor seating, including under a roof for shade and also along the orchard trees. They also had a stage set up for live music! Gift shop is cute and they have a nice selection of little gifts to bring home.

Wonderful atmosphere to taste ciders next to the orchard. However, we arrived around 5:30 and there was a live event at 7:00 which we did not have tickets for so we were told "you will need to leave in 45 minutes". This did not provide for a friendly service experience.

This is a must-do when visiting the Okanagan. The orchards are gorgeous, the cider delicious and the ladies working there are very knowledgeable. We learned a whole lot about the gold rush and how the cider press came to be as it is now. The girls were incredibly friendly and not stingy with the samples! The tasting is done by donation; so be generous - it's worth it!

If you are in Vernon, do yourself a favour, and visit The BX Press. The Silver Fox Cider is the perfect balance of refreshing, and sweet! I followed this with the Select Canadian Cheese board, and finished with a glass of Bandit Cider which was the perfect savoury cider, with a hint of sweetness. This place has a great cider tasting where they tell the interesting history of the BX area and it's connection to the gold rush. You get to taste three different ciders which all have fun/historic names. It is by donation and a portion of the donations goes towards charity. There is a small shop where you can buy cider and other unique souvenirs. Everyone who works there is very friendly. It is a great activity to do in Vernon!

I really enjoyed coming here. We tried their ciders while sitting in the orchard. This was a selling feature for me and one of the reasons why I wanted to go here for a cider tasting. I am a huge fan of their sweet ciders, they have elegant flavours for a decent price. Another bonus, their apples are organic, crisp, and very well-priced. I highly recommend that if you need apples for the season, go here.

I grew up just above the actual orchard of the BX press Cidery, but have only just visited this awesome place in 2021. Had lunch with my mom there, tasted their amazing ciders and equally amazing pizza. It was so good that I came back with my kids the day after for a pizza lunch. The teenage food critics also said this was the pizza they've ever had ???? I really enjoyed the Dufferin Cider, aged in whisky barrels. This place is a must if you're traveling to the north Okanagan

I've never ate such bland pizza in my life. My entire group felt the same. We had the chicken and portobello pizza and one with beet and feta. The chicken pizza tasted like cardboard. We all had to ask for salt. One of the servers seemed so hard done by having to bring us all salt. It's as if nothing was basically seasoned, from the dough to the sauce and everything on top. One of the servers seemed so hard done by having to bring salt and water for the table. If the overpriced pizza wasn't overwhelmingly tasteless then she wouldn't have needed to earn her tip (which was given before even receiving any service). I did not have any cider but the group wasn't entirely impressed with the cider either. For a place that is so highly reviewed, all 8 of us were incredibly disappointed and will definitely not be recommending this place.

BX Press has stepped up their game. Craft cider and craft pizza cooked in an outdoor woodfire oven. Lots of picnic tables and even a stage for live entertainment. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for an evening or afternoon relax time. There is a self guided walking tour of the apple orchard too. Kid friendly with a rustic farm like feel. Stop in and have a pint, then move on to the rest of your day. Don't forget to take away a few bottles or a case of your preferred cider, some flavors are seasonal or limited edition. It's kinda hard to limit yourself when they make such wonderful tastes!

Delicious pizza and really good dry and sweet ciders. Loved the cheese board as well. However, I think they should have done better with the service (at least with us). It started ok ???? but at the end I felt very bad. We wanted to order something else and they just brought the machine to pay, it was like they wanted us to leave :s .. we didn't even had the chance to say it .. it felt very bad and uncomfortable.. I hope this doesn't happend often ????

Recommended by friends, we stumbled upon live music on our visit. Hard working, knowledgable and friendly staff(and owner!) who served us. Even a horse n buggy showed up, adding to the farm life feel. With the mountain backdrop, an unforgettable experience locals and visitors should try.

Nothing beats popping by BX Cidery on a warm sunny day to enjoy a yummy cider in the sunshine amongst the apple trees. I like the atmosphere of this place and the variety of cider flavours on offer. You can purchase flights to see what flavours you like before buying a bottle or 10 to take home with you. On weekends you can also enjoy some pizza and even some live music if you're lucky.

Local gem. A must-do when I'm Vernon. Love this place on a warm summer evening. They have wood fired pizza, live music and fantastic cider. Lovely ambiance with their outdoor seating. Check website for more details. Pizza ends after Sept long. They also sell apples starting end of Sept. Their honeycrisp apples are to die for! Nothing beats a juicey sweet apple. One suggestion - It would be great if they partnered up with a local brewery. I love cider however I can't get my partner to come as he only drinks beer.

This place is awesome. While on a recent camping trip to Vernon we stopped here on a recommendation from locals and was not disappointed. We did the tasting which provided an awesome history of the area, the land and the people who farm it. The ciders were great and my wife bought some which never made the trip home as she drank them all. I would highly recommend a visit to this little gem to anybody in the area.

For those who aren't into wine this is a must do on our list. The cider is delicious, the staff are helpful and friendly, they talk about the longevity of the orchard and how they make their cider from the apples grown on site. The entertainment is the detailed story telling on how they name their ciders based on local history. They have a freshly installed brick pizza oven that looks like a nice addition to the cold cider you can purchase onsite. Rumor has it they will be starting a walking tour of the orchard and operation this summer that takes about 45 minutes, check with them for details.

My partner and I had come to this cidery based off of recommendation. I had my dog with me, and under normal circumstances she wouldn’t be able to join us. Due to covid-19 the dining situation was setup outdoors, so she was able to join! I had ordered the flight 2 sampler which consisted of 4 drinks. Crackwhip, Ginny, lavender raspberry and vanilla plum. These range from less sweet to sweetest. Their flavors are excellent. I had ordered a margherita pizza @$19.00, and my partner ordered a Wild Mushroom & Artichoke pizza. Both orders were very flavorful and made in a fire pizza stove, so it’s quite authentic. The ciders are made on location, so it was a privilege to sample an array of their specialties.

Our group orders 2 Pizzas which both had little to no toppings. Ordered the roast beef, corn (canned corn) tomato and the asparagus, mushroom white pizza. Both had very little toppings and no inspirational flavours at $22 a piece I was expecting wow but instead boring. The charcuterie board was incredibly sparse as well with 3 crackers for the 3 small pieces of cheese and a few different slices of meat at $25 I was still hungry. Stick to the Cider which is delicious. Eat before you go and enjoy the beautiful setting. Such potential if they fixed their kitchens ingredients and their portion size.

Just moved to Vernon from Vancouver and I’m so happy BX Cidery exists! We were cheerfully greeted by one of the many servers and seated right away. The seating is wonderful, right next to the orchard but with lots of options to sit in the shade. Excellent choice of ciders and drinks to choose from, including flights. My friends and I ordered two of the pizzas to share and they were delivered piping hot and were delicious. I recommend the garlic and kale pizza, and I don’t even like kale, but the whole thing was perfection. Our server refreshed our water throughout the meal without us having to ask and checked in with us enough that we felt taken care of, but not annoyed, which I appreciate. As we left, the live music was starting so we are going to return again soon and make sure we get to experience that. I cannot recommend BX Cidery enough!

We had a wonderful time during our tasting tour with Kim. She was very friendly and knowledgeable on the history of the orchard and were able to answer all our questions on how ciders are made. The tour is free and is by donation, but need to book ahead of time. They have a wide variety of cider to choose from. We end up buying a couple boxes of cider and apple juices. Highly recommend visiting them during your stay at Vernon.

BX press is an amazing look into the Okanagan’s history. If you haven’t been I would definitely recommend visiting! It’s very family friendly, my children really enjoyed their lavender lemonade, and the location is beautiful. It’s so nice to sit in the sun, under an apple tree and drink the cider that was grown there. I would definitely recommend trying a flight your first time as they offer such delicious variety of ciders and very unique flavours, it’s worth having a little bit of everything. They also offer wood fire pizza which is fantastic and they do live music events! Whether you’re local or visiting, it’s definitely worth checking out.

I love BX Press ciders. My search for a perfect cider has ended! I enjoy them all and could not pick a favorite among the BX Press ciders because they are all unique and delicious. They are not sweet and the effervescence is perfect. I have shared a few with friends and they were all delighted and wanted more. Stop by the tasting room (or the website) and learn the history behind BX and their labels - and treat your taste buds with some samples. I bet you'll walk out with a case!

Ciders include dry, off-dry, hopped, cherry, black currant cardamom, raspberry lavender, and now haskap (and more). Cider tastings are fun. Long table dinners in the summer look fun.

We went to BX Cidery over the weekend and could not have been more pleased with the experience. It started off a little rocky waiting 30 mins for our drinks to arrive but the manager came by and apologized for the wait and unbenouced to us came back in the middle of our meal and brought us a couple cidars for the wait we had. I arrived here 4 hours early for a dinner reservation with my brother by mistake lol. We took a shuttle from the airport so we didn’t have a car to just leave and come back when it was our time. We had no other option but to spend the full 4 hours waiting for our dinner party. The staff/ownership took our luggage and welcomed us into their restaurant and orchard for the afternoon. We walked in @1pm as strangers and left @6:30pm feeling that we had made new friends. Over the whole time we were there the staff made conversation with us and did there best to make us feel welcomed. We even made friends with the head chef who went as far as to make us a custom pizza that wasn’t even on the menu! When we weren’t chatting with staff and eating the wonderful food we were off walking in the beautiful orchard and listening to the peaceful live music. All and all it was the best 5.5 hours I have ever spent at a restaurant lol. You definitely don’t want to miss this place if your in Vernon!

Great place to go with some friends. We went in the fall and were able to sit outside with our cider flights. They were very knowledgable in the products and the workers were very friendly. They even helped track the cider dig down for us to pet! We were very happy with the ciders and will definitely come again.

Was definitely worth the drive to this off-the-beaten-path quiet setting for a mid-aft lunch. Very diverse exciting line-up of live music talent in queue for this 2021 season. The rustic, simple covered & lighted stage is smartly positioned to accommodate both entertainers' needs and audience alike in fostering a rather perfectly comfortable outdoor setting for sipping, dining or snacking, listening and re-charging.

If you are really into cider, you'll love BX Press! They have some of the best artisan cider in the Valley. They grow traditional cider apples producing very tasty, sophisticated ciders. We were blown away by the Malus single variety apple cider. Of course, they have the sweeter ciders as well .Just go and get some of their brilliant product in a beautiful setting.

Great place to pop by and grab a craft cider. You can enjoy a flight of ciders so you can try lots of different varieties. It's a beautiful spot on a sunny day to hang out. And you can also get wood fired pizza at certain times. You can also buy the cider at the Vernon Farmers Market and at local liquor stores.

Our friend organized a meet-up for all of us. He thought we would enjoy it and he was entirely correct....for the most part. The food and the cider we're truly next level. The only downside to the entire evening was that they had scheduled in a small string group of about four or five women playing various instruments. Unfortunately for whatever reason I don't believe they were using any sound equipment and so our little group of 8 people who had spent probably close to $500 were subjected to the derision of those who came to watch the band. Had we known that a band was going to be there coupled with the intensity of the people who were mercilessly shushing us we may have opted for a different venue.

We shared a cider from BX at our friends house during our vacation to Vernon and made a point of staying an extra day just to visit the cidery. Needless to say it was the smart choice as Jasmine gave us a tasting of their impressive range of ciders while presenting a history on how each flavor came to be. We ended up leaving with 3 cases of cider! We will absolutely be back next time we head out that way!

Cider taste and quality 5/5 best cider I have ever experienced. The cider price is a bit more than name brand cider at the liquor store but the taste it well worth it. The tasting room is nice but if you want to sit you have to wait as you arent able to bring your samples outside. If you want to sit outside they only pour at certain times. Staff was quite friendly and knowledgable about their products. Overall i highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for something to do in the Vernon area

Arrived at 4:35 for a cider / tasting and they closed at 5:00. We said we would be quick and they said they were closed . So disappointed in driving to a place that’s open until 5 but close a half hour early?! Lots of people there still having drinks. So sad and disrespectful of our time

We went for the tour and it was great. They have a little covered seating area out in the orchard where they teach you about the ciders, the land and the history. It was very interesting. Our host was superb! She was very engaging and knowledgeable and also happens to be one of the cider makers. The cider was delicious. Some of the best I've had. Highly recommended!

Missy and the self proclaimed gang here at the cidery are amazing. They're great people, the cider is amazing, and I've never had such great treatment. I'm from Saskatchewan and from the time I visited 4 years ago while lost looking for wineries right up until I got my last case of their cider last month, they've always worked hard to keep my cellar full of great cider or keep me in the loop about what's going on at the cidery.
