I absolutely adore Ciao Bella ❤. I secretly hope this blissful place stays a hidden gem so I can keep indulging every weekend.
great wine. super friendly owner
Such an unassuming little spot that one may be tempted to pass right on by. Don’t! Stopped in for a tasting and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Every wine was fantastic, we bought a couple of each and fully expect to swing by for more. As it was lunchtime we decided to stay for the Spuntini with a glass of wine and a bottle of San Pellegrino. Great atmosphere and incredible hosts. We have visited most of the Okanagan’s wineries over the years and I have to say that this is now our absolute favourite!
I don't drink wine and I loved the ambiance and the family feel. Came highly recommended for its relaxed feel and fine tasting wine. I would definitely suggest that you visit.
Very friendly owners and most importantly great wines.
We visited Ciao Bella a few times this past summer. As I have known the family for many years, it was nice to reconnect and enjoy the warmth and friendlyness of their winery, hosted by Roberto and his wife Sharon and family.. There is a great selection of wines, something for everyone. We would highly recommend making this a must stop for your wine adventure.
Wonderful set of 4 types of wine. All are super tasty and award winning wines.
Family run winery. Tastings held inside their home! You can bring your own picnic and purchase a bottle of wine to enjoy outside on their picnic tables overlooking the vines. Brava!
Wonderful experience, Antonio warmly welcomed us (even though we had no reservations) and had such passion for the wines while hosting our tasting. Definitely proper tasting Italian wines. They even gave us some fresh basil from their garden to enjoy the rest of our trip, extremely generous personal touch. We loved it and will be back, hopefully we meet Nonna next time. Thank you!
Great wine, great people roberto and sharon are so kind !
Such a great spot! The wines are delicious. Award winning and also great value. The ice wine is a must. The food was much of the same and such a great little picnic area to enjoy it. The service was also 10/10 today, thanks Bill!!
The family is very friendly and welcoming. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves and never felt rushed. They love what they do and it shows. Amazing wines, beautiful scenery, and charming family. A definite must see when visiting Kelowna!
great little winery. very Italian. loved the pinot both frigid and nero
Property was lovely, wine was lovely and the hosts were super friendly. A picnic with the family and a glass of wine in the vineyard patio was a perfect summer lunch. Very nice to meet Roberto and Kari.
Ciao Bella winery is one of our most favorite places to hang out, drink some amazing wines in the backyard, converse with Roberto, Sharon and their family as well as their other customers. Perfect way to spend an afternoon anytime of year. If you are touring the wineries....this one is a must!!!
Ciao bella was the last stop on our wine tour. The family feel of this winery is lovely and the passion really comes through. Everyone was so friendly! We really enjoyed hearing all the stories behind each label from our server Tori. We had a picnic lunch in the beautiful backyard and split a bottle of the delicious pinozannte! Tori even took some photos of us in the vineyard which turned out so beautiful and made the experience extra special!! Thanks so much- we’ll be back! :)
Definitely a hidden gem. They only make a few wines, but all of them are outstanding. It is also a true family winery and you often meet three generations of the Fiume's when you visit.
Helpful and fast. Tastey wines
An European Italian style, carefully handled family owned winery right in Kelowna. A good example that wine brings with it the love for the land, the grapes and the community. “Ciao Bella, a winery that will leave you with a sense of how simple is to get a great wine when you are passionate about it.” Emiliano Mora
Great customer service and great wine. Latte's are also very good. The owners are very friendly and informative. Will definitively come back. Highly recommended.
Ciao Bella Winery has such a unique, authentic, and humble experience!! The employees are all either part of the family or very close to the family, which provides for a comfortable and kind wine tasting! The commitment to and passion for wine that each employee has shines through! And, to top it off, the wine at Ciao Bella is incredible! My group visited three other popular wineries in West Kelowna, but I personally found that Ciao Bella had the best wine!! The Italian home-style atmosphere combined with the amazing staff and exceptional wine makes Ciao Bella certainly worth visiting!! I would highly recommend this winery and I am sure to be making more visits there in the future!!????❤️
A unique cozy and friendly atmosphere to try some Italian style wine in BC. We have been to this winery before and sought it out again with the memory of great tasting wine and the heartfelt enthusiasm behind its creation. We were not disappointed upon our return and found the winery has only improved with time. The 2016 Rose is a favourite.
Wonderful wine, in a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. The owners really make you feel like one of the family, a true hidden gem of West Kelowna.
Great wine, very friendly staff. Like the history of the vineyard.
Amazing, family owned Italian winery! All their wines are a hit and such an authentic, genuine vibe.
For brunch, we enjoyed their award-winning Rosé with a cheese and meat platter on their patio. We chatted with Sharon for a quite a while and learned about Ciao Bella's interesting history. Being there was like hanging out with family or long-time friends. We will be back and look forward to the amazing hospitality. Thank you Ciao Bella.
Ciao Bella is not just a winery… it is a part of Okanagan history. I didn’t realize this until I spoke with others in the industry. Everyone knows and respects this family and it only takes a few minutes to see why. Their natural hospitality and charm is so obvious and their knowledge of wines and vineyards is vast. The love of family, the Okanagan, and the experience of their visitors is evident throughout. I got to enjoy taking photos of the Wine Country Tai Chi group’s Wine and Chi demonstrations in this amazing setting this year. I also came here for their recommendation for what to serve for my mom’s special birthday and it was of course… perfect! Thank you Roberto and family. Even in 2021 you made it all still work!
Family run winery vary nice people 10/10
Lovely small wine farm. Very personal The 3 wines they produce are excellent
Roberto & Sharon are a great couple that make you feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ciao Bella and our only regret was not being able to stay longer.
Great wines and very friendly staff. Quite enjoyed ourselves
Family-run business with deep Italian heritage so they know how to make great wine! Very kind and knowledgeable!
A quaint spot to R&R with a glass (or bottle) of fabulous Italian wine a little nibble on a charcuterie plate. Their lovely backyard garden is a perfect spot to take a breather.
Love ciao Bella winery!!????
Excellent wine from a small winery. Take the time to stop by.
We've been here a few times and have never left disappointed. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, the wines are delicious, and the yard is the perfect place for a quiet afternoon picnic. I love the addition of a sparkling wine to this year's line up!
Very nice family winery. Lovely staff and owners. Hanna was so friendly and knew her wines very well. Sharon and Roberto are great and very outgoing too. Fun stories behind the family winery. Oh, wine was great also! If you in West Kelowna you need to check out Ciao Bella.
Great wine (especially the rosé) and even better people! Roberto and Sharon are exceptional hosts and make the effort to connect with their guests
Bellisima! Niche winery with an Italian motif. Wines are made in traditional Italian style. Staff is fun And friendly. Worth a stop to get a taste of the old country, Okanagan style. Bella the German shepherd is awaiting your arrival, come and play a game of fetch with a stick.
Ciao Bella is an incredibly friendly Italian family run boutique winery that produces great Pinot Grigio, Rosetto, and Pinot Nero! Roberto made us feel like family and I love how their heritage is in every part of what they do. A must see on the West Side wine trail. Relax in their garden patio after your tasting and enjoy some wine and charcuterie next to the vines.
Ciao Bella Winery on the Westside Wine Trail in the Okanagan Valley is simply the warmest and and most inviting family operated winery we have visited. Roberto and Sharon treat their guests like family. Their award winning Pinot Nero is our favorite Okanagan pinot. Check out Ciao Bella, you will not be disappointed!
Great little family run winery - very friendly and accommodating.
Amazing wine made by an amazing family! Make sure to add Ciao Bella Winery to your wine tasting itinerary!
We came from vancouver, and stopped by this winery. The owner happened to be there and was super friendly to us. It was a great experience will definitely come back!!
Absolutely amazing to hear of the stories behind the Ciao Bella Winery. Would highly recommend this winery to anyone who lives or is visiting Kelowna. Amazing stories, amazing wine and most importantly amazing people
This is the most amazing place. Roberto and Sharon are so welcoming. It’s not a business to them it is their passion. We love this place! We were not like customers but part of the family. Highly recommend Ciao Bella’s l!
Very friendly people! We've been going there for years. Excellent wines.
Great for a picnic, great wine and the owners are wonderful people with great staff!!
A short trip to Italy ???? ???????? to enjoy amazing wines and the perfect place to have a picnic lunch ????
Authentic non corporate winery with really good wine and friendly people.
There are a few wineries within the local area but this one was far and away the best. All three wines were excellent but the rose particularly stood out. We liked it so much we got a bottle and a cheese platter and enjoyed it in their patio area which was decorated in a way that made you feel you were in italy. The owner was super friendly and informative.
At Ciao Bella Winery we get the Best tasting Wines made from Years of History by Roberto Fuime. His passion starts in the vineyard from Sun up to Sun down. The whole family brings in the harvest and you taste the Love and experience in each Wine. The Rose is unique as it's made from Pinot Noir grapes. Rich color and a compliment to any White Meat meal. Their Pinot Grigio done to perfection as only Italians know how. I have enjoyed each visit to Ciao Bella every time I stop in to taste what this last year's crop has done in Roberto's care. Truly a hidden gem worth looking for. Cheers!
After a very pleasant trip to the winery this summer, I’ve cooked a meal to pair with with Pinot Nero. ????????
Great Wine paired with wonderful stories! :)
Super friendly family run winery. Authentically Italian. Enjoyed delicious glass of award winning Pinot Grigio wine in garden setting. Would definitely go back & bring a picnic!
Small Italian family run winery at the top of Glencoe Rd was just what we needed after a long drive. They have a small plot of land with their own vines, picnic tables and a couple of tractors for you to pose on. Their storefront is actually the back suite of the home with the wine bar, coffee bar and gifts to take home. They also have a picnic license so you can bring your own food and get their wine at cost while enjoying the vineyard. Perfect for a group outing! They don't make a lot of wine which is nice cause it keeps it unique. I bought their Pinot Nero (noir) and the Ice wine. The ice wine was the perfect amount of sweet and not overpriced. We brought it to a friends place later on in the week and it was a hit!
Like having a glass of wine with a friend. This is a rare find now in an increasingly commercial area. Great wine, personal atmosphere. Lovely picnic area. Will return and recommend to friends. Very hospitable
We loved this winery and family story, a great first impression but the staff was accommodating and friendly. It had a good covid measures with the tastings outside. We hung out afterwards in the many places to sit in the beautiful garden, this was one for the books! We’ll be back again and thanks again for the great experience!
If anyone is in the Kelowna area or live nearby, or just visiting BC, you should visit Ciao Bella Winery. When I was there, it was busy but they always visit with everyone. They treat Strangers like Friends and Friends like Family and their wine is great. I'm not just saying this just because I like the Famiglia but it is true, their wine has won awards. it's like a little piece of Italy.
I can recommend this winery for anybody who likes lovely and delicious Italian wine. You can spend all day here and feel like you are on holidays. They take out a tasting fee with purchase and price of tasting is really low anyway. They have lovely picnic area and are kids and pets friendly, if you can keep them under control. Meat and cheese platters available and it was very lovely and tasty... tomatoes and basil was from their garden. Reservation is recommended but they accept us as walk-ins. Big thank you to CIAO BELLA
Amazing family run winery with very knowledgeable and personable owners and staff!
Arguably the best winery in Kelowna. Not because of the view or the fancy interior, but because of the authentic vibe, delicious and well-made wine, zero pretentiousness, and family history. Super relaxing and beautiful garden to enjoy in as well. Thank you for sharing a little bit of Napoli with us! We will be back!
Great little spot with amazing wines and nice backyard for picnics. Also dog friendly
All of the wines here are amazing! The white, rose, frizzante, and red are all great
Love the Pinot Nero
Hanna was amazing! She was so knowledgable of the wines, the history, and the story. The wines were amazing and the patio was so beautiful and welcoming. Thank you so much for a great experience ❤️
If you want an authentic taste of Italy in the Okanagan you must go to Ciao Bella! I’ve been to nearly all of the wineries in the Okanagan and this is the top of the list! Don’t miss out
Ciao Bella is a great friendly inviting place with lots of character. A lot of work and passion goes into their product!
Probably my favourite winery in Okanagan! Family owned, it was absolutely charming to see the son, the mother and the dad being all present on the weekend! The wine is delicious (especially the rosé). Food is also available at this winery, so I would definitely suggest to stop by and eat some cheese there!
My fiancé and I visited Ciao Bella Winery yesterday for the first time. Ciao Bella was one of 12 West Kelowna wineries participating in the “Sip with your Sweetheart” self-guided wine tour event. We spent the afternoon visiting all 12 wineries, Ciao Bella was our last stop and was a fantastic way to end our tour. It is a small, “mom-and-pop” type winery operated out of the family’s home with a warm “Italian family” feeling to it. We were welcomed by the owners (Mr. & Mrs. Fiume) as soon as we arrived. The Fiume’s were very friendly and were happy to engage us in conversation, share some history about their winery and answer any questions we had. We sampled two wines, both were very good. Italians are known for their wine and Ciao Bella did not disappoint!
