Looks nice, and everything was clean but the food was kinda bland. The onion loaf was the ugliest thing you could do to onion rings. It was a mass to eat, was also bland, under cooked, and the sauce that it comes with doesn’t go well with deep fried onions. The “spicy shrimp” and the Cajun seafood pasta(which was advertised as spicy) were good but had absolutely no heat to them. If anything they were sweet. I’m sure I’ll come back and try them out again though.

I was treated like a king today at Tony Roma’s. My server Paul was on point with everything from service to his excellent recommendations. The kitchen sent out some tremendous beef ribs, with a house made bbq sauce that has to be in my top three bbq sauces that I’ve ever had in my life. I clearly over did myself today. It’s been four hours since I ate and I’m still full. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance. Take out is also available.

Nice modern atmosphere. Easy close parking. Friendly staff always willing to give suggestions and find out answers for you. Accommodating to food changes. We were even given BBQ sauce samples as to find the exact one we wanted. Lunch combos and specials are well priced and lots of food. Entrees are quite overpriced for evening meals. I'd say evening are more upscale and lunches are perfectly low key.

I would definetly go again. The Hostess and Serving Staff are incredible. Went for lunch with the wife and 2 kids, (3 year old and 6 minth old) about 11$ - 15$ per person. Soup, Salad and sandwhich, ribs and fries. Completely worth it, have already Recommended to all my family to go eat.

Went to TR for my wife's birthday. The onion loaf was good as usual. Ribs were unfortunately underdone. I'm used to the, almost fall off the bone doneness. The meat was fairly firm and lacked any sauce penetration. The server was cordial but no action was taken or offered when asked how our meal was. Strange, considering how many businesses are trying to get back on their feet. I didn't want a free meal but not even offering to replace the portion astounds me!

Wanted to go for just apps. Not too busy and seated fast. App list is restricted. There is another menu on the table with a variety of apps that look good, but you can't have that before 8pm. That was kind of disappointing as we just wanted some apps and not spend a fortune.

I was so looking forward to going to this Tony Romas as I had been to others and really enjoyed my meals, however this one failed to live up to my expectations. It has a bar, it is fairly nice, clean, washrooms were clean, food was alright. Service was good although there was a bit of a wait for our food. There was nothing spectacular about our experience. That's all I can say.

Tony Romas Thunder Bay is fantastic! Cleaner and more updated than any other franchise I've visited (in Winnipeg for example.) Lots of parking, barriers in place for pandemic requirements and disinfectant readily available at the entrance. As wed made a reservation, we were immediately seated and welcomed. The service is prompt and still safe in compliance with pandemic requirements. Drinks arrived quickly and orders taken soon thereafter. The meals arrived quickly, hot and very tasty. The beef ribs were great! Large portions served, which even I had trouble finishing. Dessert was very rich, probably should have foregone that pleasure but that's on me. Delicious meal, efficient service and friendly staff makes this a restaurant worth visiting. Tony Roma's Thunder Bay gets a rare 5 star rating.

Shamelessly dived into and devoured the starters before photos could be taken. Same with the deserts.( Repeat future visits will capture those) I'm positive if this restaurant placed "work boots and cardboard" on the menu, the kitchen magicians would make it taste gourmet, the waitstaff would present it like you were on a British nobility estate and the entire experience would make you realize that the management and staff at this location, would be the equivalent of heavyweight prize fighting champions of the service industry restaurant world. Forget that every staff member in public view, from bartender to bus person, constantly scans the patrons to anticipate needs before being asked, every single item we've ordered on 2 separate visits has been spectacularly prepared, tastes phenomenal, been of generous proportions, it's made us anticipate returning and eager to try what we haven't. Not only is this location recommended for its food and beverages, but as an example to every dining business as an example of how to do everything 'right'.

I must say that our family was disappointed in the service and value of our meals. We made a reservation for 6:45pm and were seated immediately. It took about ten minutes for someone to come to our table. I had to ask for a child's menu for my nine year old daughter. She ordered off the kid's menu and did not receive the appetizer that comes with it. My pasta entree did not come with anything. I ordered a salad with it that was an added cost. Bread should have come with it, especially since it was spicy. My daughter's children's meal did not fill her up. Normally at any other restaurant, there is too much food for her. Before we ordered dessert, we ordered ribs for my son at home. It took about forty minutes for the meal to come. We had finished our coffees and desserts and were waiting for a long time. We will not be back. There are many better restaurants in Thunder Bay.

Best Ribs in Town. I’ve been all over Thunder Bay trying all the different combinations of ribs and sauce trying to find the best. Tony Roma’s has friendly staff, reasonable wait time for food and it tastes great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting for everyone. There is a section that feels fancy and another part that is casual. It is a great place to go out to and have a great time and I will keep coming back.

Most of the time, the service here is great. My last two visits, not so much. Went with a friend, we were seated quickly. Ordered our food, which took way longer than usual. 2 tables that were seated after us, got their lunch first and it wasn't even busy. Waitress asked us twice "how everything was tasting" when we didn't even have our food yet. After our plates were brought to the table, she disappeared and never checked on us again. At the end of the meal, I asked for a plastic take out bag. Waitress disappeared and I was waiting for 10 minutes. Finally got up and asked the manager at the front instead and then she rushed over to us and asked if everything was okay. Overall, food is good and usually so is the service. Just not lately

We went there for supper last night and Monday night is all you can eat ribs and fries for $15. You get more than enough ribs on your first round. Supper was delicious. I had the spicy sriracha and my friend had Sweet Carolina sauce and they were both delicious. Staff were very friendly and manager/owner came out and asked how the ribs were. I ordered the Tony Asian salad. It was ok. Not 17.00 worth of wow. They charged us premium fee for vegetable side without telling us that grilled vegetables meant "fire roasted". So extra money for that little side hustle to make money. And they forgot a side of fries with our order. I called back to clarify the mistake and the employee who answered the phone explained our receipt and accepted responsibility for forgetting the fries so that was good. The other members of our dinner part enjoyed their ribs and shrimp.

The manager was our server. The food was cold. We had to get our own ice after asking and waiting. We were not offered dessert because our server had to help in the kitchen. There were only 8 tables and a large group at the back. Would not recommend.

Good service and the wine listing are fabulous as well. The food portions are excellent and they allow you to try a variety of there menu on a platter. Love that kids eat free on certain days and the people who serve you always bring crayons and colouring sheets for the kids right away before they take your order which helps out a great deal when bringing little ones in the restaurant. I have eaten at a lot of these restaurants and this one had very friendly quick service. Very attentive to their customers and helpful.

Our server was friendly and brought things out quickly. Our appetizers and meals were fairly quick and our drinks were never left empty for long. It was really nice. We did have one our our steaks come out at medium rather than medium rare, but it wasnt too big of a problem. The food was hot, tasty and really hit the spot. I definitely appreciated the meal and would absolutely go again.

Not a bad restaurant by any stretch, but fairly over-rated based on my experience. Always really busy which makes service a bit slow. It's not the wait staff's fault, but slow service isn't great regardless of the reason. Get the ribs, avoid the burgers and you'll do OK.

We were not happy with the ribs at this Tony Roma's. The ribs seemed more like side ribs than back ribs. This was brought to the attention of server and kitchen staff, who said they were back ribs. No one else followed up on this complaint.

Good food with okay service. The steak was delicious and my wife's burger was also great. The only complaint I have is the speed of service and that our waitress would disappear for upwards of 10 minutes at a time, including taking 15 minutes to get our order in at all.

Its decent food, alright price. The last time we went to eat there for my sons 16th Birthday and we were a little disappointed as we wanted to embarrass our son by having them sing but they don't do that lol. On another note, the waitress was flirting with my husband and that would have been fine, however I asked her for a lemon water and she took my husband's drink order and ignored mine haha. So, my husband asked her for my water and she brought it to him hahaha. All in all, we have had good experiences there and some laughs about the waitress.

Had two excellent dinners and one lunch. Ribs were tasty ( one step better than M & M's ) prime rib on Sat. night good as Keg. Honest. Kickin' shrimp defiantly kicking. My wife's chicken dish was also on her top 10 list.

Food was alright, but for the price you pay, they sure rush you out. We had a table of 4 on a pretty average night where there were still plenty of tables available. One of our party members hadnt even finished eating before our server was bringing the rest of us boxes for our leftovers. This felt a little rude, but the best part was when they were still eating and the server decided to not only offer dessert to the rest of us but even brought us the cheque (which we didn't ask for yet).

Stop by everytime we are in Thunder Bay. Tonight we went and had kickin shrimp and mussels. The shrimp was good, as it always is. The mussels were not...many of the shells were sealed shut and I had one that was OFF..like I bot down and it was rancid. Our server was a super nice kid, removed the mussels from the bill. I would recommend this location, very nice and clean.

Great menu that is family friendly. My daughter loved the Marinara Pasta and was super excited to make her own sundae!! Not a big fan of the constant vacuuming and sweeping going on around us while we ate but other than that a good experience.

The meal was kind of predictable but our server made it 5 stars. I've never had a waitress that actually seemed to care. Usually you get the "Big plans tonight?" or other predictable phony tip-inducing conversation/banter. Our server, Alaina, was genuine, friendly and actually seemed to care. The meal was a 6/10 tops but her positivity and professionalism made our meal a 10/10.
