Was the pits, made the wrong drink, no drink menu on table, pickerel and fries dried out, oreintial salad was blah, chicken was ok rice tasted gross and asparagus dried out. Had to ask for water. Overall not good at all! Wont be back unfortunately. It’s a nice little drive and and nice spot

This place has stood the tests of time. The menu took a bit of a hit recently lost a few really good items but still very good pub food. Its in a great location for a beer after hockey games or skiing. large enough for a whole team or take a booth for a more private setting. the restaurant side is closed now, sadly no more delicious prime rib. Definitely could use an upgrade in the bathrooms they are pretty shady.

We had takeout (due to Coronavirus) and were quite pleased with the entire process. Order was ready quickly and at promised time, hot and fresh. Good portion sizes and delicious burger. That patty!!! OMG! Friendly staff and great experience. We will be back! Highly recommended.

Food is good but service is lacking. They clearly don’t have the staff to handle the large crowds they often get on weekends especially with hockey tournaments going on across the street. Several weekends we have called to place an order for takeout and were told they weren’t doing take out orders as the restaurant was too busy. Who does that? I’ve never heard of such a thing in all my years of ordering takeout. But on those nights the service in the dining room is abysmally slow as well. It’s too bad because it has potential to be great but the service and inconsistency causes us to take our business elsewhere.

we had our wedding reception @ the Neebing on New Year's Eve 2015/16. The entire staff and Emma did a fabulous job organizing preparing for our needs. The food was delicious I ordered the chicken it was tasty. I should have order the prime rib .......!!!!! I had a few bites from my best mans plate tender, full of flavour best in Thunder Bay.... I recommend this establishment Thanks neebs for a fantastic night

The Neebing Roadhouse was a bit disappointing. The food is okay but far away from "good". Cooking a steak to the point seems to be not the strength of the restaurant. Better choose the Cliffhanger Restaurant across the street.

What an amazing little hidden gem in Thunder Bay! Went for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting traditional roadhouse premade, frozen food but from what I ate, it tasted totally made in house. I had the jumbo stuffed yorkie served with mashed potatoes. The yorkie was well cooked, not mushy or heavy. The beef was tender and tasty not that watery flavour like it's been sitting in water for hours and the potatoes were real homestyle mashed. The beer selection was good, a fair number of domestic and craft on tap and many more in bottles and cans. The cheesecakes served to the next table looked devine. The crowd was very mixed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. In different times it looks like they would have a lot of fun on the beach volleyball court. Definitely a place to check out.

Okay portion size and the pasta was okay. Burger was extremely dry, mixed drink had Zero alcohol and 1/2 ice, service was very lacking. We ordered some wings to start and the waitress said both "Classic" and Dusted" were on special, and we ordered the "Dusted". 15 minutes later another waitress comes and tells us only the "Classic" were on sale and asked if we wanted the "Dusted or Classic". Rather than pay more than twice the price we said the "Classic" was fine. One minute later they brought out the "Dusted" and said they would give it to us at the sale price. I know it takes more than a minute to make wings, so the only possibility here is that they screwed up, tried one last time to get us to pay for their mix-up and were too lazy to re-make them. All in all it was just a bad dining experience. I'm sure there are better options much closer to town.

Kind of a local landmark. Located roughly halfway between Thunder Bay and the US border. A real road house with mostly a Roadhouse menu. Although they also have excellent prime rib. For being a bit out of the way it is quite large and hostes a fair amount of get togethers. I think largely because it has tables that can seat 20-30. On the weekend I would suggest reservations after 7 as it tends to get crowded. A great place to stop on your way home from a day of hiking or skiing, visiting the local show farms or returning from Duluth

My husband was treated poorly. He went to pick up our take out and was seen by a bartender and the waitress, who both served I'm guessing the "locals" first. It wasn't till someone come from the kitchen when he finally got service. The food was okay. I'm sure the quality is better when the food is hot.

The inside definitely has the better view but I wanted some sun, so settled for pine trees and the palisades surrounding Mount McKay. The server was simply awesome.
