Beautiful venue and the food was exceptional. The staff were very professional and attentive. We attending the venue for a wedding party with 160 guests and had a great experience. The venue held the guests comfortably and we had an area for the dance floor and a large photo booth area allocated also. The venue also arranged for heaters to be turned on outside as the weather turned but all guests remained comfortable and dry. I look forward to visiting the winery again.

I joined the Swan Valley Wine Cruise from Perth. The trip is relaxing and the guides are professional. The presentations are relatively boring. The wine tasting part is satisfactory, and the lunch is not bad. Overall, I enjoy the trip!

Can't fault Sandalford for their atmosphere - really great ambience, especially at the outdoor dining area. As for the value of their wines, I would say it's overrated - you can sometimes get them cheaper at liquor shops.

Don't trust this venue for your wedding. They cancelled my friends wedding booking with only 6 months notice so they could host a bigger event on that date. They offered no compensation even though vendors had been confirmed and international guests had already booked their flights over. Steer clear, despicable behaviour from a so called 'premier wedding venue' that obviously doesn't cares about its clients.

The weather was perfect when we went and so we had an even more good time. The ambiance is lovely and the staff is so nice and accommodating. Of course the food was delicious, especially the lamb. since we dined there we got free wine tasting and a discount if we bought something from their shop. Fun day indeed.

The chef's special was delicious and cooked to perfection with nice moist pink. The flavours were outstanding. The silverfish however was nothing to rave about. Was dissapointed that the staff actually recommended a sweet white wine when I asked her to recommend the wine to go with the lamb.

After they did renovations, it looks really stunning. However, staff are not sure about their dishes. Most importantly, food was bad. Some of chips are not cooked, pasta was way to hard and nothing special. Oysters are not fresh as well. We ordered steak but... Most delicious one was pizza. It was quite disappointing lunch.

Visited them last week on Thursday afternoon. It was our second visit to their winery. Went in to do some wine tasting. The staff were attentive & knowledgeable so it helped us choosing which ones to try. After visiting we purchased a few bottles including their Prendiville reserve (which is still our favourite. A little pricey but definitely worth it), Grenache & Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir. The staff told us that if we dine in their restaurant, we could also score 20% off on their wines which we just missed out since we went in after the lunch hours. Next time we’d be visiting for trying their food & purchasing more wines.

After blending we had a lovely 3 course lunch, with Lee and his capable staff looking after us. We then bought more wines, had a nap in the car park In a borrowed camper van. We had our wedding at Sandalford's new estate room in March and it was everything we had dreamed! We had a bad experience with another venue, and Victoria was able to help up move everything to Sandalford. She organised multiple viewings for us, coordinated vendors on the day, was contactable whenever we needed her, and even invited us to the grand opening of the new room! The food on the night was gold standard, and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We would highly recommend Sandalford if you are wanting a rustic, warm wedding with great ambience. Thank you once again Victoria!

You can't go wrong with Sandalford. Yes it is expensive. Yes it's a little too posh of a kitchen for the regular crowd. But it is so consistently yummy and with good service! Wine is 100% great. Food is 100% great. The service is immaculate. Save it for that special occasion. It really delivers.

The location is absolutely gorgeous, the service staff is outstanding and the food was divine. I was there to attend a wedding. And everything was perfect. One of the best event I have attended and it will be in my memories for a long time. The different parts of the location are maintained very well and the landscape was stunning. I would highly recommend for any event. The service, food and ambience provided are one of the best in Perth. Well done and keep up the excellent work.

Barramundi was perfection. Light but substantial. Service was excellent. Waitress made suggestions on vegetarian which I was considering. Gnocchi was good portion. Not sure about the star of the dish tiger prawns’ limelight kind of being stolen by the thick slab of pork belly. Wine was of course lovely.

Good location but terrible wait. Took 30 mins to get served, 1h wait for our food. To be fair, the waiter apologised a lot to us and we got our entree and 2 beers discounted at the end. But then they managed to lost our bill somehow when we went to the till to pay. Food is very average, quite disappointing given the price. The only one that's worth ordering was the gnocci. The pork belly was overcooked and dry on the inside while managed to be uncrispy in the outside. The lamb smells and was not cooked very well. The barramundi was dry and the sauce was tasteless.

We went for lunch and were greeted by a 15 minute wait to even get to the counter to confirm our reservation. While our order was taken quickly we waited over 1 hour for food to arrive, which only arrived once we prompted our server to enquire about our food. She seemingly avoided eye-contact whenever we tried catching our attention and the only prompt service we received was once the bill had been requested. Such a shame the service was so appalling and unprofessional as the food was really good and the ambience was nice. Really ruined the entire experience for us and we will not be coming back ever again.

Mt friend had a booking for her birthday for 10 people to come have a few drinks and nibble food. We then had 3 more people who decided to join us and when we told them that we were expecting 3 more they decided to charge 85 per head because there were more then 10. No option but to pay 85 and get 3 course meal eveb though we just wanted to come relax drink and have some finger food. So we then cancelled and were charged 200. That's disgusting.

Easily accessible by the Swan Valley Hop on Hop off Explorer bus from Guildford Station if one does not drive here. The rows of grape vines are attractive to the eyes and provided a source of great photography.The free wine tasting was great and the surrounding estate and landscape are picturesque.

Very poor communication, called me yesterday to confirm our 5pm dinner booking for Valentine's day then called me again today only to cancel our booking. Apparently the chef isn't taking bookings before 6pm. This was not displayed on their website and was obviously not made privy to their staff 24 hours ago when they called to confirm. Very disappointed in this service. Did the right thing and booked weeks ago so we can get the early time slot only because our 2 young children will be dining with us. Oh well, happy to take our money elsewhere.

Jon and I never really considered Sandalford one of our top contenders for getting married, but once we went there on a whim on an open day, we knew that this was the place. We got married in the Estate Room, which was beyond beautiful. At the beginning, there was a bit of a tricky transition period between wedding coordinators, but once we met with Ella, she was an absolute lifesaver. Never would I have thought that we would have someone from a venue that was so on our side, and trying to help us out where she could. Ella went above and beyond and indulged every request. While she did not know much about our wedding after the handover, she caught up to speed and even worked things out better for us. The amount of guests that we had commending us on our choice of venue was amazing. Not one person had anything negative to say about the food or service. We were a little underwhelmed at our tasting event, back in February, but last weekend we were in absolute awe. The food was beautiful! Presentation and taste. The staff were so attentive, with special mention to Zach and Simon, and all with a great sense of humour too. We would get married at Sandalford again in a heartbeat. We adore Ella and are both so, so grateful to her for ensuring that our day was perfect. Thank you, Ella, Zach, Simon and Sandalford!

Edit to review: Due to the severity of my reaction and the lengths I went to in order to avoid this situation, it has to be 1 star. It could have been so much higher and I don't like to review negatively without due cause. Upon booking it was made clear that I have a food allergy. On ordering I was at pains to tell the waitress this, she understood and wrote this information on the order. My starter still came with the pecorino cheese on it. Having eaten some without realising I then raised it with the waitress. She spoke to the kitchen and came back to tell me while the cheese was there, it's a lower lactose cheese ????????‍♂️ To his credit the manager was excellent, he apologised and took the item off the bill. I can't remember his name but he is why it's 2 stars, tall man with black hair. We tried to do a tasting, after only getting served two wines in 10 minutes we gave up. Our server was distracted by other larger parties, another lady served us one more wine after our first, then she too became distracted. It's so close to being great, but they really missed the mark. The building and grounds are lovely and we'll maintained.

I feel cheated. An advice to the tourist who are planning to get a few bottles of wine from there. After tasting a few glasses of wine we have decided to buy 3 bottles of wine, and nicely bubble wrap n pay. Please double check on your receipt and what you get under the bubble wrap. At that time we trusted and believed the staff was professional enough to differentiate the wines bottles.(not sure is it intentional) After get back to my country, I realised that I got to pay at a higher price of the other bottle of wine but I’m getting another lower price of white wine. It’s almost double the price. I got very disappointed with this as I feel cheated. Otherwise, overall experience was good, service was OK. Great wine tasting experience at affordable price.

I honestly couldn't speak more highly of the service & attention to detail, the staff at sandalford went above and beyond to make our day perfect, I was so surprised at there packages as I expected sandalford to be super expensive, but this was not the case we were able to create a tailored package to include everything we had hoped for and more at a very affordable price. This is the second time we visit this place after the renovation. Both are satisfied. First time was Sunday lunch on Valentine’s Day. It was very busy but the service was smooth and the food was amazing. We had the striplons - was very delicious especially the criolla salsa. The pork belly was juicy and also the cuttlefish was surprisingly tender. Came back today to try the Lamb Rump and I’ve gotta say this is best lamb dish I tried so far. We also had the Pasta Rotolo - look very unique. Dessert is to die for... love the Donut and Strawberry. Quite a nice place to enjoy food and view with family.

I held a 70th birthday lunch on 7th Nov 2021 at this venue . From first contact with Zoe to enquire about a booking , to the final champagne before heading off ; the staff were exemplary , helpful and pleasant to deal with. The knowledgeable and friendly Tasting Room staff -( Stephen helped us in wine tasting and purchasing )- and then our lovely hostess who took orders and served our food and beverages courteously and respectfully . The food was absolutely delicious, course choices were seved in an orderly manner , all were well received by my diners and served proffessionally by Sandalford staff. At Zoe's suggestion i booked The vintage Room , and it couldn't have been better . Overlooking the lawns and play area , this room was the perfect choice for my small party of 25. The recently revamped Sandalford Winery is picture perfect , and - in my opinion - with such helpful and courteous staff ; cant miss being a popular destination of choice for a meal with friends. I overheard many of my friends remarking that they would be happy to return and recommend Sandalford Winery Thankyou Zoe and all staff for helping the day to go so smoothly and ensuring it was a happy experience for us all . Marinated octopus was quite tasty. The beef came almost medium I reckoned but I ordered medium rare. Ate the beef nonetheless and it turned out quite well. The braised beef was good too. However the mash which was beneath the beef was gluey and I was wondering if they put it in the microwave.

If you are planning on having your ceremony at the Sandalford lawn area - be cautious that a helicopter from another company may land and take off again during your vows/ceremony and the Sandalford will take no responsibility to prevent this from happening. My family and I were there yesterday for our 40th wedding anniversary. We were quite a large group. We selected Sandalford Winery as there was a great play area for the kids. With 6 grandkids, this was ideal. It was a very hot day and I would think that shade clothes would have gone up by now, but that was not the case. So it was hot in the playground and not inviting to the kids. Our comments are that although it is a beautiful, calm and relaxing site, there was no value for money where the restaurant was concerned. Considering the magnificent environment, I would have expected a great customer experience. There was no "wow". We did a wine tasting and was advised that we could only taste 4 wines, and none of them we liked. The meals itself were not exciting and for what we got, it was overpriced. We asked for a piece of bread and butter as that was all our 2 yr old wanted, but was told that there was no bread, which we would have paid for. So it was extremely disappointing, particularly for the reason as to why were were there in the 1st place. We could have possibly gone to another winery and had a better customer experience and value for money. All in all, no value for money, it seemed like it was all about the $$$ and there was definitely no "wow" customer experience. Would I return again? Definitely not!

Had lunch with my wife yesterday . thoroughly enjoyable experience . Food , wine and service top notch with special thanks to Robbie the young lady waiting our table . The only detraction would be the poor decision of either the Manager or Owner allowing workman with power tools to carry on making an awful noise during a peak dining time. Great venue however with an exciting menu and wine that deserves a return visit.

I went to my friend's wedding here a couple of weeks ago. Sandalford prides themselves on their huge wrought iron candelabra's, in fact it is a selling point for their wedding packages. However they put them on dining tables next to the dance floor. These tables aren't particularly steady. Add in an event where Responsible Service of Alcohol goes out the window and you might see where this is heading. A drunken groomsman sat on the bench next to the table and lent back on the table. This disturbance subsequently caused the top-heavy candelabra to tilt and fall over. Unfortunately for me I was in its trajectory and found myself covered in candle wax. But according to Sandalford's staff it would all be fine because it happens all the time. The staff member proceeded to give me tips to get out the wax (very, very wrong tips by the way. Garment destroying tips. Yeah my $300, out of production/irreplaceable, dress is now ruined tips). IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME?!?! Well maybe, just maybe, you should do something to prevent it happening AT ALL. 1. Fix your rickety tables if you're going to display a top heavy candelabra on them. 2. Blow out the candles adjacent to the dance floor when people start dancing/getting drunk. 3. Have a zero tolerance policy on your staff doling out any advice on how to fix garments damaged at one of your functions other than "take it to a dry cleaner/professional repairer". Also your customer service on your Facebook page is a joke. "Thanks for messaging us. We try to be as responsive as possible. We'll get back to you soon." It's been two weeks and I have heard nothing. That doesn't qualify as soon.

Yeah look, great wine. Really enjoyed their estate and reserved variety. However the tasting bar vs popularity equals to not much room at all when trying to taste which lessens the experience as you feel rushed. Do recommend a visit though, arrive at around 11:30 to avoid most of the crowds!
