Sunday lunch on 11th April. Service for the main courses was slow, well in excess of 45minutes. When the food arrived my three companions enjoyed their meals (2 x slow cooked pork and 1 x salmon). However, my dry aged ribeye was attached to a bone, thin and overcooked. My research today, Monday 12th, indicates this was NOT a ribeye. What dreadful misrepresentation. One of the worst steaks I have ever had - never again!!

You have all worked tirelessly in setting up our decorations to perfection, and the staff really took great care of us, making sure we had drinks and food. Our minds were blown when we stepped into your venue. Well done! I cant remember her name but a female staff with short hair and glasses really took care of me and my wedding dress at the ceremony and made sure I had food at the reception, and packing things up when the thunderstorm hit. Thank you! Our guests and us loved the food (shout out to the pizza guy and barista lady!) and we were so impressed by all the staff who were always busy making sure everyone had food and drinks, doing all this with big smiles! What an amazing team you all are, and you all made magic happen for our wedding! Reserved a table for my Dad’s birthday, having looked over various menus in the swan valley and choosing this restaurant for the seafood platter. When we arrived for our 1pm booking our table wanted to order 3 seafood platters, in which we were told that they had sold out of the 5 they had available for the day. I understand at this time of year supply is difficult, however when you have something on your menu and have reservations and expecting a busy service, one would expect that a restaurant of this calibre would be able to offer their full menu an hour into service. In absence of the seafood platters, one patron at our table decided to order the steak, asking for this to be cooked medium rare. However, the steak came out barely cooked and was rare at best. The patron couldn’t eat it and someone else at the table had to eat it, stating that it was too chewy and not nice. The service was nothing to rave about either, having to ask two different staff members for another bottle of sparking water and that taking about 15 minutes to finally come. We order chef’s grazing plates for starters, yet the waiter was able to tell us exactly what was on the plate. All in all, this restaurant has potential, however there is considerable room for improvement.

A massive thank you to the team at riverbank estate, in particular Lindsay. We got married at riverbank last weekend and it was the most incredible night of our lives. From the beginning the events & wedding team were always open to answering any of our queries and many questions. When Lindsay took over managing weddings she was so invested and helped us with everything. No request was too much and she was always checking in to see how the planning was going. On our wedding day both Lindsay, Beverly and the team were incredible. They took care of absolutely everything and it was the most memorable night. The food was fantastic and all of the team were so helpful. We could not recommend riverbank enough and wish we could do it all over again. Thank you all so much xx

Went a wedding here on the 4th December and it was a fantastic venue. Great bartender, food and the staff went out of their way to help guests.

Wine was average. Views were good. All the food was extremely overcooked and dry, the garlic bread was cooked in a sandwich toaster and was like eating cardboard with a slice of melted cheese in the middle. There we children screaming all through the afternoon and running around the resteraunt. They even pushed their way through one of the plastic wind protector panels and nothing was done by the wait staff or their parents. For the price you pay for the food and wine this was pretty poor.

This is the third time we have been to REW. It was lunch for Fathers Day. We arrived at 11.50am. Limited menu for the event, which was fine. We ordered and in reasonable time we got drinks and our entree. Excellent food. Then the wheels fell off. We waited another 1 hour and 50 minutes for our main course. Two tables of patrons who arrived after us were served their mains before us. In fact one of these tables were served their desserts before we got our main courses. When we did eat, once again the food was great. My theory on this poor service, is that their were two chefs, one fast, one slow. Maybe I am wrong, but how else could the other tables being served first be explained? Finally, the men's toilet was in a wet and messy state half way through the service. It should be checked regularly. Anyway, we would go back, but just not on a special day. We also appreciate the wine and the live music and these are reasons we continue to go. The response from the manager online was they would respond: "Response from the owner a week ago Hello Bruce, our restaurant manager will be in touch with you shortly. Thank you." Two weeks later there has been no phone call. If there is I will let you know. Got a phone call from Ellie. She was apologetic about the wait for the food and speculated about why it happened. I appreciated the call and will return a fourth time. A new review will occur then.

Went to the restaurant for lunch on Friday 23rd June, found it very expensive given that it is not fine dining, e.g. $42 for a small piece of snapper and then side serves started at $10 for mash potato!!! Consumers should also be aware that the emphasis is on their own wine (naturally) so there is not much of a choice; unfortunately the Riverbank wine is just average. The service was also a let down given the prices. I can think of much better places for the money.

Rare to find staff this unprofessional at a winery. Nice meal however the female staff member (also manager) left us with a bad taste. We raised a minor issue and got a petty, and defensive response. I note other reviewers also make similar comments. Disappointing.

Food amazing. Wine beautiful. Views wonderful. However, service staff (though friendly and pleasant) letting the whole experience down by lack of polish, forgetfulness and not being attentive enough. No point in having talented chefs if you're going to hire inexperienced waitstaff and not provide adequate training. Overpriced restaurant masquerading as fine dining. Disappointing.

I organise my 2 years old son birthday and my own birthdays . And was great ..... everybody loves the views and the food. Because we did Sunday was so much entertainment for everybody. Highly recommended to anybody for kids or adults birthdays

I and my parents had an amazing lunch at Riverbank Estate today. The food was sublime and beautifully presented. The bread came hot from the oven with slow roasted garlic and fresh butter, the steak tartar with slow cooked egg was amazing enough that I would go back just for that alone!! The chef, Marco, from Rome, is worth his weight in gold. His delightful small plates were perfectly sized and 5 dishes between us, were filling enough that we couldn't fit dessert, which I will have to go back for cherries and chocolate.. yes please! Michelin quality food at home.... The house staff were just as welcoming and efficient. We managed to squeeze in a tasting before the food came and we ended up with a couple of cases of wine too... great day out.

This is our first visit to this hidden gem. After searching online for somewhere close to our accommodation for lunch we decided to give the Riverbank Estate Winery a try. The google reviews at this time were fair but definitely don’t reflect how awesome this restaurant is. I don’t usually write reviews either but I had to share my experience with Perth, as I feel they deserve the recognition. We Dine out weekly and I have to say this is now in my top 3 restaurants. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chef 100% “nailed it. “ I have to mention how the octopus was tender and perfectly charred. I’ve only ever tasted octopus as perfect as this once before. And I believe octopus is very hard to perfect. Finally, the great culinary experience is matched with the warm friendly service. Everyone seems to really enjoy working here which I find refreshing. We will be back very soon ????

Set menu is ridiculously over priced, service was extremely slow. Couldn’t wait to pay the overpriced bill an get out of there after 3 hours of waiting. I had to stop on the way home to feed the family, after dropping $240 for lunch! Maybe the regular menu represents better value, but if you have a larger group and only get the option of a set menu, go some where else.

Not sure what some people reviewing are on about. Service was with a smile, prompt, knowledgeable and engaging. Even with a new staff member, questions were answered and when unknown, help was sought quickly. Chef knows how to cook. All our food was presented immaculately and everything was handled with the care fine produce deserves. Food was flavoured perfectly with nothing over seasoned or too intense. This is key with seafood especially. Food melted in the mouth and the Mediterranean style salad was so complementary to the rest of the food. Overall a great experience and although it wasn't flat out, staff were working hard. Levels of understanding are sometimes needed when things are not perfect because nobody is perfect and when we pointed out a small issue with squid, chef rectified it and gave us more than an adequate replacement. Wine was advised expertly and matched our food choice. I will be back. Beautiful location adds to it too.

Well what an experience. To Eric and his team, what a fantastic venue and staff you have. I arrived a tad late on Sunday and was told the kitchen would be closing, but the staff treated my family and myself like kings and queens! The best service from a lady called Jo and amazing food and wine. The scenery is to die for as well. Visited recently with friends for lunch. A very pleasant setting in the Swan Valley region. A very limited menu unfortunately, wine list was quite comprehensive. However the staff were not very attentive they forgot to bring the ordered wine and brought out a dirty plate. The steak was very nicely cooked but was certainly not a good enough size for two people even though it said it was a meal to share at $88 Probably won’t go back anytime soon

This place is great. I have been a number of times and have always left full and happy. The setting of over looking the vinyards is perfect for any time of the year. The food and wine is great and the service is to. There are some pricey items on the menu but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". Highly recommended !!

Simply one of the little known gems in the Swan Valley. You must try this place if you haven't already, or visit it again even if you know it well. Hubby and I had a very enjoyable weekday lunch this week. Instantly felt relaxed being there. What a lovely picturesque property, so nice looking out to the vineyards. The old truck, entrance wall and cottage home really added character. My favourite was entree the Burrata cheese with a crumbed deep fried tomato. Our pork belly was cooked perfectly and we finished off lunch with an affogatto that was served with a delicious muscat wine. So close to Perth , yet instantly felt away from it all. Will definitely be back , maybe on the weekend with the family!

Riverbank is a great winery/restaurant in the Swan Valley. The food is very good and the scenery is very relaxing. We came here on a day where they did not have enough staff for the customers and so they forgot our cutlery, forgot to bring us cutlery after we asked, and forgot to tell us one of our meals was unavailable until much later. They made up for this by taking meals off our bill and their service was still very friendly and welcoming. I would still return here for a meal in the future

Beautiful location and lovely serving staff. Our waitress, Sarah, was excellent, though run off her feet. BUT .... We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and 45 for our food. We had our wedding at Riverbank Estate on 15.10.21... and it was perfect! I'm not sure how many people can say that looking back, but we honestly would not change a thing. In the lead up to the wedding, Laura and Eric were so reasonable with any requests that we had and listened to any concerns (of which there were few). They went out of their way to look after us with a number of requests that we had. The staff at the venue were always so kind, relatable and helpful whenever we came to the venue. The food was amazing! We had a cocktail style wedding, so weren't able to try the food beforehand (except some items at expos)... if you're in the same boat as us, don't worry about this in the slightest. Every single piece was so good and our guests commented on how great it was! There was also a great selection of drinks, and the wines are great (obviously)! Finally, massive thanks to Laura. On the day, we really appreciate her discretely checking in with us, sneaking us some food if it looked like we were busy, if our drinks were empty bringing us a new one, and if there was any wedding related info... sorting out anything that may have become an issue, bringing us solutions instead of bringing us a possible problem. The staff just know how to do weddings and do them well. Honestly, can't say enough how happy we are that we got married here.

We purchased a groupon voucher for lunch at this place. The manager wasn't dressed very nicely and was doing paperwork etc at the table closest to the door which looked untidy and unprofessional. We asked to sit inside because we had a small baby with us and it was quite warm outside. The manager seemed annoyed at our request even though all the tables inside were available. Upon ordering the pear cider we were told it was unavailable, yet no alternative was offered. We asked about the apple cider and the staff member was unable to describe and sell the companys own product which was disappointing. The entrees were a share plate for two - yet they had ONE cracker to somehow "share" and half the plate was stuff from jars at the supermarket. The beef was good but not enough to save the dish. We all ordered the same main yet it took over half an hour to arrive once we'd finished our entree. The pork belly was dry and not very tasty and the parsnip was overcooked. We also noticed a couple come through to assess the venue for a wedding and you could tell there weren't impressed with the service they received for their viewing. The general lack of regard by staff for their patrons was appalling. Overall a very disappointing outing - thank god we had a groupon voucher and didn't pay full price for this sorry experience.

We went to Riverbank for the first time last week and we very impressed with the whole experience. The scenery over looking the vineyard's was very relaxing and the food was wonderful. The staff were very friendly but not overpowering and the selection of wines we had were very nice. Would highly recommend for a quiet meal or a function in the beautiful grassed area.

Had an amazing day here! We were invited by our friends to come and celebrate their son’s 2nd birthday. I must say the venue and the views of the winery were absolutely stunning. There was live music, plenty of entertainment for the youngsters to play with such as farm animals and garden games and plenty of space for them to run around. I liked the fact that this was outside, separated from the restaurant. Service was fast and friendly, always replenishing our table and making sure we had enough water in the hot sun. Definitely come back again with friends and family.

A very innovative menu that I would be keen to go back to just to try some other things on there. The food was amazing and I would classify it as fine dining but it was reasonably priced. It’s clear they have a very good chef in the kitchen. I personally would rate their food on the same level or better then Sandalford and Mandoon. However I can see why there are so many bad reviews on here re service. The staff were very disorganised I.e. we had a different waiter/waitress every time some one came to the table, at the bar the guy pulled out 5 dirty wine glasses before he could give us 2 clean ones, they couldn’t find the EFTPOS machine, the wine I wanted to order had just been put in the fridge and wasn’t cold, the staff were constantly asking each other questions because they didn’t seem to know what was going on. I would have still given 5 stars because the staff were all quite lovely but dessert took 40min after we ordered. I hope that next time we go back the staff are better organised.

Took the wife for a midweek lunch. Greeted with a warm welcome from one of the kind pleasant staff. Seated outside on the veranda which is enclosed with clear blinds to look out over the vineyards & a warm heater above us. Being a cold winter’s day we were comfortably warm during our stay. Beautiful sparkling water was gotten & with a large drinks list apart from obviously the extensive wine list to chose from we were happy. Ordered a chief plater for two & everything was scrumptious & good portions of prosciutto, ham, olives, chorizo with two small soups, arancini’s & scallops & four slices of sourdough bread. Everything was devoured on that plate. Main meals….Wife had the Pork Belly & said it was delicious & I could hear the crackle so I knew she would be happy with it. I had the Salmon with char grilled capsicum & purple cauliflower. Nice crispy skin on salmon & beautifully cooked. Wife had an affogato which came out deconstructed (fancy) & I had the apple & berry crumble with one of the nicest vanilla ice cream I have tasted. All washed down with apple cider & a beer (or two). Prices well, especially for the quality of food & service.

As visitors from Adelaide, our expectations of visiting the Swan Valley at a winery with a beautiful aspect were quite high. However on arrival, and politely asking for a wine tasting (at a cellar door) we were bluntly advised by the female bartender that the winery is too busy on Sundays for tastings..but maybe we could do a couple. She gave a sigh at each pouring and we were made to feel we were asking far too much! (At a cellar door!). After eating lunch, we attempted another tasting and was completely and totally ignored. The same bartender made herself look way too busy. The word disappointing is the best way to describe our experience. If it wasn't for our amazing waitress, it would have been the worst winery we went to. The steaks were full of fat also and not worth the exorbitant price they charged!

A pretty venue. The service was lovely. A friendly character who took our orders and delivered food in a reasonable time frame. The food was reasonable, but nothing to rave about as far as flavour goes. It was portion sizes that overwhelmingly disappointed. Scallops at $14/ Scallop about $40 a head and leaving hungry. Afraid I couldn't recommend the dining experience.

I never write reviews for places even if they're bad but my experience here was just the worse. When we arrived, we were told that our entrees are being made. As we had a set menu and only one entrée was available. We sat at our table and ordered wine which on its own took about 15 minutes to arrive at the table. A different server came to the table and took our Mains order, We then waited an hour (from walking in and being told our entrees are being prepared) and about 45 minutes (after we got our mains order taken) for said entrees to arrive even after going up twice and asking where it was. We had gotten fed up and as we were going to leave were told by one of the servers that the entrees are ready, My mother said that we had been waiting an hour, only to be called out from across the restaurant by who I assume was the manager that it "wasn't an hour" and talking back to my mum. Very Rude. Had evidence to show that we were waiting for said time but very unprofessional calling out like that. Our main server was great though. Don't know what his name was but was very nice and caring the whole time, and was being barked at by the manager the entire time. The other server that was on had major RBF and even when trying to talk to her seemed bored and uninterested to be at work. It's disappointing to see that people have had similar problems, only to be ignored by management not replying to their reviews but replying to reviews that give them 4+ Stars. Would not go back here at all and will definitely advise friends not to go here unless you wont slow and rude service. I also hope that assumed manager sitting on her laptop all shift is reading this and know to get an attitude check and not be so rude to customers. Even asked the server if you could come to the table to talk and was not even bothered to come by. The one star is for the excellent server who had to be in the middle of all of this.

Dropped in there yesterday and met up with the proprietor Eric and his beautiful family the hospitality was first class the wines were magnificent and the winery and restaurant have undergone some huge improvements since the last time we visited. Try the wood fired pizzas they were fantastic and cooked by a genuine Italian Pizza chef. We would definitely recommend dropping in and checking things out.

Dry age rib eye $55. 10mm thick and over cooked, Definitely NO rib eye. The mushroom was the highlight on the plate. The cray was $69 and under cooked. Hopefully this is not the norm. ☹☹

Came here as part of the Swan Valley wedding open day, they were by far one of the most well set up and switched on venues, so we had lunch there and were not disappointed. Portions were huge, we had chicken liver pate and truffled mushrooms to start, pork belly and steak for mains. It was all perfectly cooked, and the staff could not have been better - friendly, attentive, always around in case you needed something, and they remembered that we'd been before. We felt welcome. It wasn't a cheap meal, but considering what we had and the huge portions it was good value and we will definitely be back. I don't mind paying for something if it's good quality, I've had meals in Perth that cost more and weren't as good. The raspberry sorbet is absolutely amazing.

We had so many compliments from our guests about the delicious food and wine (especially the vermentino!), the fun & attentive staff and how beautiful the venue was. If you're looking for a winery with both a great indoor & outdoor space that's close to Perth then RiverBank is a great spot.

I can only confirm what others have already outlined here. There is a lack in service and the food is overpriced. To be fair, not everything was bad there, as it is a nice place. Some of the food which was served was very good ( Barramundi) , however our steaks were, to describe it gently, not enjoyable at all. I trust that it is a fair to expect to get a perfectly cooked piece of meat if this is subject to a price tag of $58 ! Both steaks which were suppose to be medium/rare were far overcooked. When being asked if everything is fine, I advised the waitress that the steaks are not enjoyable. She assured me that she would rectify the problem, however she disappeared and never came back to our table. The $460 bill left a sour taste.

Went there on the weekend for lunch and it was one of our worst lunch we had in a long time. We paid top dollar for the meat and it was so tough and over cooked that we couldn't eat it and left the whole meat.they still charged us for the meat and took 1 large and 1 x small beer of the bill but it would have been nice to remove the steak at 60 $ instead. We def won't go back or recommend to our friends.

Elegance, sophistication, tranquility and beauty. I lifted my high quality glass of san Pellegrino sparkling water, which was an option of many, as we sat with a view over the river and vineyards. The staff are highly trained and friendly and happy to discuss the ins and outs of all menu options. Our coffee mugs and side plates are of the highest quality Churchill stoneware. The pouring rain countrified our warmly heated enclosure as it hit the tin roof and really made me think about how lucky we are to be able to enjoy such situations. 2009 Riverbank Riesling - what a cracker! Recently our patience was rewarded when we opened a bottle of the Riverbank 2009 Riesling which we'd cellared for the last 10 years in our wine fridge. The wine had transformed into a beautiful luscious liquid that's hard to put words to but we will definitely be aging our Rieslings more often if this is anything to go by! Great job Riverbank!

Sunday Italian Street Food... The platter sounded amazing but was all pretty tasteless. Best thing was the pumkin we ordered a la carte, but way over priced at $26 for 3 rounds of pumpkin with corn and peas (I don't think there was whipped fetta). No band as advertised which would have been fun, and the 'giant games' (plural) was just one set of jenga. But a nice location and relaxed atmosphere.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Eric himself and seated promptly, even though it was a last minute booking. It was such a perfect day out to be lunching. The setting was picturesque. The old pick-up truck had been decorated with flowers on the tray, and the entertainment of a softly and gently spoken young lady with her guitar and singing voice, set us up for a few hours of "Chillaxing", with the aid of refreshing locally brewed beers and ciders, and award winning wines. The Italian street food, of which we tried all the items on the menu, was typical of rustic spring flavours, of season vegetables and local proteins. DE...LISH!! We loved it. Saturday lunch for 2 on 14 August 2021, cold day so sat inside alfresco, very cosy, had a wedding on later so needed to be out by 3:00pm, but food arrived timely and was delicious, had smoked estate olives and grilled octopus - wow!! So tasty and excellently presented. Beer was great, also enjoyed tasting 2019 Rebellious Verdelho . Wild fish of the day tasted sooooo fresh with excellent colour-coordinated vege/condiment accompaniments - Chef has an obvious great flair for colours. Red wine tasting at the table, had to choose so eventually selected 2018 BDX+Tempranilllo -OMG very nice for our palates. So nice to be recognised by catering staff who are always friendly and accommodating every time we visit. We love coming back to Riverbank Estate for great food and wine, fantastic asset in the Swan Valley. Marketing is not over the top but has attracted us every time with great deals and menu selections. Well done Riverbank Estate, with your continual changing menu and upmarket attractions, we will certainly be back soon, yay!!

We decided to return to riverbank for lunch today as we have been here many times and it is always a great meal, we got the crab for 2 and my god, the serving was enormous, but quantity did not affect quality it was amazing also for once a restaurant gives you all the necessary cutlery to crack the shell and reach in, also th presentation is top notch. We also got the pork belly which I must say had some very delicate flavours, it tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection. To finish I had the chocolate dome which was sheer creativity and tasted amazing and was stunning to look at, a photo of the desert will accompany the rest disappeared to fast. I have to mention the wine also. You can’t go wrong. All around I can’t recommend the riverbank enough.

Great location and atmosphere, however given the amount of reviews on the lesser standard of service you would think the penny would drop and someone would address and solve the issue. Upon being seated, no one attended to us, not to take our drink order, not to take our food order, not to take our desserts order, we continually had to flag down and stop staff as they walked by. Interesting as they had enough staff on duty, but no one proactive enough to actually approach us and initiate what would normally be expected of wait staff. There was one lady with red hair who was quite helpful so thank you to her.

We were part of a group of 20... we arrived early to an empty restaurant. There were two different menus on the table & nobody seemed to know which we we could order from... that got sorted, eventually, but it didn’t get better. Two choices for lunch - the first being pork belly which comprised two very small pieces of very dry pork belly about the size of a $.50 piece, a very nicely cooked strip of parsnip & a tiny piece of potato! The other was a very bland and uninspiring pasta… About the cheapest & easiest meal you can serve is pasta! They were either very unprepared or they need some training before they accept bookings for more than one larger table at a time! An older lady came on duty and the service improved from there on but we had to keep following up, and service was very slow. In their defence they did get busy, but that’s a matter of managing their bookings to progress the orders through the kitchen in an orderly manner. In addition our lunch was to include a wine tasting and whilst their wines are ‘okay’, the serves were ridiculously tiny and again would not inspire anyone to purchase the wines, simply because there wasn’t an adequate amount to actually ‘taste’ the wine! Overall an uninspiring experience that certainly wouldn’t encourage any of our group to revisit!

Our office was lucky enough to have our bosses wine and dine us at Riverbank for our EOFY celebration. We started off with some wine testing at our table which was a great way to kick start our lunch. Food was delicious, they offered some great Vegan options. The steaks were also a hit! It was a cool winter afternoon, the staff ensured we stayed warm by providing blankets and putting down the blinds for us. We left with a bunch of our favourite wine from the tastings. Great afternoon – we will be back.

The wine and the venue were terrific, really tasty high quality wine and a beautiful location. The woman who was serving us the wine however really wasn't all that interested and didnt seem able or willing to answer any questions about it. This was a shame and detracted from the otherwise lovely venue. I really reccomend it for the wine, we didn't eat there so cannot comment on the food. But the menu looks nice and the setting is gorgeous.

Beautiful venue and atmosphere. We went on a busy Sunday afternoon. The food was a mixed bag, kangaroo fillet was delicious but the fries were stale and the pork belly was chewy. Service was very disappointing. We were served by a man who was very flustered with the busy day. I appreciate that this is difficult, but the attitude and rudeness needs to be toned down! Our order was also taken incorrectly, and when we questioned it, the wait staff frowned and tried to deny taking our order incorrectly. The food also took nearly 90 minutes to arrive. When we mentioned this, the wait staff simply said that they were busy and as we had no pre booking, had already tried their best to accommodate us and therefore the food was slow. Will not be back.

We booked Riverbank Estate for a private function, after work for 80 plus guests. Our site meeting to discuss options with the events team gave us great confidence that we were dealing with experts. The event seamless we had all external providers coordinated with the events team the presentation was first class. The food was so well received it just kept on coming the bar was well staffed, they even organised the background acoustic band. I would highly recommend the venue ( great views and history) and the staff for your special function. The feedback from our guest was fantastic we will be back in the future, great job all the staff at Riverbank Estate Winery.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and I have to say I will not be returning. Yes they have a magnificent view but the food has gone downhill quite considerably. You can just tell that there is no love and care in the kitchen at all as it reflects on the plate. I also really question now, do the staff really care whether they have customers there or not. Very disappointed as this was the place are used to enjoy.

Visited Riverbank Winery today. The location is beautiful the staff really accomodating, our waitress Peggy was a real gem. Our lunch consisted of a selection of breads served with warm olives roast garlic and butter, perfectly cooked scallops poached tomatoes and grilled vegetable cake. The only dish I didn’t particularly enjoy was the poached tomatoes which I thought would be warm. The Riverbank Prosecco was lovely, I wish I’d brought a bottle home, maybe a good excuse to revisit which I definitely will.

My birthday lunch was absolutely fabulous. The food was amazing ! Such great value. The sharing platter for entree was excellent and then the mains were lovely - I had the pork belly which was the best I've had in a long time. Thanks for a lovely afternoon x

Highly recommended this little gem, staff so friendly and helpful. Set in a beautiful relaxed setting looking out to the vineyards, had spectacular meal which I couldn't fault. Wine was spot on and of course had to buy a bottle or two - we will be back thank you for a great lunch.

Had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful day in the Valley and the Riverbank luncheon experience didn't disappoint. Gorgeous setting, a delicious lunch enhanced by very knowledgeable and attentive staff.Will be spreading the message. Must add Riverbank to your list of places to visit.

This place was amazing! The view is everything the swan valley represents! The live music, relaxed atmosphere is perfect for any occasion and kids are so welcomed! My daughter was sliding down the banks on a cardboard box! A dream for children of any age. Our waitress Jo was amazing so professional yet we left feeling like we had made a friend. The wine was probarly the nicest ive had and the food was presented in a way that make your jaw drop and equally as nice tasting. Thank you so much Jo and to the kitchen crew and staff it was amazing! I definitely would recommended this place for families, couples and corporate functions.

As an ex athlete, I’ve travelled the world and have visited many wineries and restaurants. I must say that Riverbank estate winery is one of the best I’ve been to. The food was excellent, the staff was great and the owner Eric was very hospitable. He was very welcoming and it was an overall excellent experience.

We went here for lunch in December. They were relatively busy but maybe only half full. Waited what seemed like was forever just for our drinks! I understand a wait for food if you are busy but even then it would nice to be told sorry we are busy and there will be a slight delay. I think we waited around half an hour just for a drink. Starters and mains were a long wait too. But the worst thing was the beetroot risotto! Really gluggy, full of oil & all of the goat cheese melted before it arrived. I tried to eat it but couldn’t! Luckily we were offered not to pay for that however the rest of the meal was very overpriced for the standard of it and the waiting time was ridiculous. Definitely won’t be back.

A glorious juxtaposition of inner city restaurant, Swan Valley views and country hospitality. We had the bread, served fresh from the oven with homemade butter and garlic confit, and the gnocchi, which was everything a gnocchi should be and more. We will be back, probably soon.
