A serene place with knowledgeable staff. Such great immense space for a quiet retreat or a large function. Place is perfect for weddings, corporate functions to impress. Picnic areas and very clean areas. Wines and food are sensational. A Swan Valley gem. Remember to "Follow" me ????

We went to check out Nikola Winery and their restaurant for lunch in the Swan Valley. Nikola is one of the new wineries, the new owners bought over Hauton's winery in the Swan Valley. We ordered the share plate the bread with truffle butter. The mains we ordered Lamb Two Ways, Eggplant, Sheep's Yoghurt, Mustard, Pickle. I usually am not a lamb person, but I love the eggplant; hence I gave this dish a try. Surprisingly the lamb didn't have a strong taste and the eggplant compliments the taste of it as well. Battered Fish Of The Day, Salad, White Balsamic Dressing, House Tartare, Chips, Lemon. It was very delicious, and the highlight was that we dip the chips in the leftover truffle butter and it was terrific. 30 Day Aged Sirloin, (MR Only), Potato, Parmesan, Mushroom Marmalade, Jus. I love the sirloin steak it always has a soft spot, and it's cooked medium-rare. We ordered both their dessert on the menu the Chocolate And Honey, Mousse, Comb, Salted Caramel and Coconut, Kaffir, Mango, Yoghurt, Lime. The chocolate dessert, they didn't specify that it's white chocolate. That was the only disappointment. Nikola Estate is a new place, and it's fresh in Swan Valley.

We called in for lunch. Very impressive upgrade from Houghton. Stylish design. Lovely views into the vineyard. Simple but unique menu. We both chose duck with a side salad. The duck was delicious and the side salad fresh and crispy. Limited wine offerings but the Nikola Chardonnay was OK.The deserts are very special. Service professional and friendly. So glad we called in. We will have this restaurant on ‘visit often’ list. Suggestion. Please re plan two table seating so that both diners enjoy the lovely view. And move the table in front of coffee and payment area. NO STAR RATING. What a shame. We have been back three times. Last Thursday to treat an old friend to lunch. Being quite warm we were invited into the interior restaurant area. Just us three and two other ladies on a table nearby. Service and food was good. Then a group of men, one woman arrived who seated nearby. From the outset they were loud,rude with the head man constantly swearing. I suggested we move out to the other restaurant for desert. My wife went up to their table and complained of their outrageous behaviour before we left for the outside restaurant. It was very embarrassing for the restaurant staff. We then discovered that the host was one of the senior partner owners. He didn’t introduce himself to his customers and set about spoiling their lunch. He tried to apologise by offering “free deserts all round.” What a shame. There are many vineyard restaurants in the Swan Valley with owners who welcome patrons rather than behaving offensively.

Had such a great time out here with the Nikola crew. The way they go through the history of the place and tell their story just had us captivate, could have gone for hours. The wine is outstanding and well on its way to making a name for itself. Once the Cafe fires up again this will just give people even more reason to head out. For now there is so much space to bring a picnic you can just BYO food.

Georgie and Lloyd took care of us so well during the tasting. Very knowledgeable and really pleasant. Great location especially while it was raining outside. The wines are delicious and a lot made it back to our cabinets.

Had the most delicious lunch at Nikola Estate. We tried a few of the dishes and each one was cooked and flavoured perfectly. The squid was lightly battered and cooked to perfection and the accompanying salad had the most delicious dressing. The duck was tender and the skin was crispy. The beef was soft, juicy and tender. The dessert were just as lovely. One of the best food you can get in the Swan Valley!

My husband and I had our baby shower at Nikola estate on Sunday. It’s our first child and the first baby shower I have planned. Unlucky for us it was the only day of the week that it rained. I was a little stressed out as I had been planning this event for weeks. The staff however, calmed my nerves and made the day so special even with the terrible weather. They set us up in the cafe space with chairs for all the guests, wine barrels and vintage tables, it’s like they knew my style! I was blown away with the professionalism of the staff and how they catered to all my needs with ease. The grounds of Nikola estate are magical even on a rainy day and my husband and I couldn’t thank the staff enough for their efforts to make our day so special! We will be back many times for sure! Our platters of food was also delish and our guests all commented on how great the afternoon was! Thank you to all the staff at Nikola estate who made our day better than we imaged!!
