We had an absolutely fabulous time at Wine Grunt! The atmosphere is wonderful. There was LIVE MUSIC ( which was excellent). The wine was, of course, top notch, and the food was good. We were there on a very busy night, and they were short staffed. Even though, or server was spectacular and we felt very well attended to. I highly recommend this lovely spot!

Exactly what Windsor needed. This is our favorite place to visit for good music and an exceptional vibe! Love the extensive wine list, but the local craft beer is our go to!

Winegrunt is top tier even by downtown Halifax standards and it’s in the small town of Windsor! Unbelievable wine and beer selection, delicious food, warm cozy environment and frequent live music. What more do you need?

Food and Service both exceptional ! If you haven’t driven the 50 KM from HRM to eat here you need to ! Extensive wine list, fresh local produce on freshly made food. This is the dining experience you want from Downtown Halifax it exists in a relaxed atmosphere in Windsor. Two thumbs up.

Fantastic little wine bar. Great wine selection showcasing wines from Nova Scotia with some excellent wines from around the world. The dishes are carefully made, tasty and at a very reasonable price. Service was warm, efficient and attentive. A true gem in Windsor, NS. Greatly recommended.

What an experience! First off, saying the food is good isn't enough. We ate like Queens and Kings. The ambiance was nice and the staff helpfull, sweet & kind. They took time to make learn us the history of wine in Nova-Scotia and made us taste some of their unique bottles. Really enjoyed and will make the trip all the way down from Montréal another time for sure. Enjoy! - Friends from Montréal

Finally checked this place out 3½ weeks after moving to the area. What a cool, lively spot. Good prices, and the most extensive menu of Nova Scotia wines I've seen. I'm glad to find out a place like this exists in Windsor!

We had the Nudleauflauf (German version of Mac n'cheese) and Currywurst for a late lunch, paired with a Willm Alsacce Pinot Blanc, I cannot begin to describe how delightful the meals were, made to order, delicious, well presented, and did I mention delicious! We followed the meal up by splitting an apple strudel, made by the owners mother, very enjoyable, also pairs well with the pinot blanc. Highly recommend....

Had an amazing experience here with my boyfriend and his mom. We stopped in for lunch on our way to some vineyards in wolfville. The owner was wonderful, very engaging and knowledgeable about the local wine offering. We will definitely return!
