I highly recommend 6ix social for their food and phenomenal customer service! For the first time visiting this restaurant I was very impressed. I was welcomed by genuine and friendly staff who helped me through deciding what to eat. As they gave their top choices, I’ve went with the following, - short ribs that comes as an appetizer or a meal - chicken and waffles - buffalo chicken sandwich As a food lover, I was wow’d by how tasty all these were. The short ribs were incredible, it caught me off guard to how savory they were. Well done chefs! They were all so good I didn’t get the chance to breath while munching down every bite. On top of that, the staff were very friendly and caring! Making sure my table and I were happy with our food and drinks that we ordered. They were on order with everything and they gave a fun vibe to be in. Definitely, will be coming back.

I've been here twice now and their food is consistent and quality which I can't say about most places around here. Also their drink menu keeps expanding... and I'll keep coming back. PS Ask the owner to "heat it up" for a spiced up version of any of your dishes! He will not disappoint!

Great casual elegance vibe. Came here on a few occasions; the service is always impeccable. The space is well appointed, with a great food & beverage selection. We checked it out again yesterday. Found their patio to be well spaced out and staff all in masks providing sanitizer to patrons. Eased a lot of our anxiety around being in a public space again. Privacy partitions bordering the patio space made it feel airy but not exposed. They had new summer cocktails! The Empress Flower was delicious, as was the Bay Cosmo. Butter chicken poutine and the Chicken & waffles were great! Highland Creek is a great heritage neighborhood to take an evening drive to as well; that is how we initially found the spot. Happy we found this place to vibe at.

Our server was nice and great. However, one of the employees whom we assume is an owner (female, older, blonde hair and glasses) was quite rude and very unwelcoming to us. We did not feel welcomed at all. Lost my appetite here. Food was decent, drinks were great. But I am not impressed with how we were greeted (or lack of greeting) when we arrived. She ignored my partner when he asked where the washroom was as she was texting on her phone. And once we were leaving, she was at the exit and did not say a word to us - no thank you? Or have a nice day? I don’t think we’ll be coming back or recommending this place to others. She needs to learn some simple customer service, especially in the food industry. Thanks.

The place looks good. I can give it that. To be honest. First impression counts. Doesn’t matter if your friend told you to try it or you stumbled upon it on your travels. Anybody can sell booze. It’s what brings you back that matters most. Some of Toronto’s legends are the most greasiest dives but are still thriving because of there food. Now I don’t wish bad for this new attempt on fine foods but they’re gonna have pick up there game. I was disappointed with my over priced bowl of basic poutine. With under cooked fries and a gravy that could be mistaken for black coffee or flat soda. Assuming my order of butter chicken poutine, that I assumed was only available due to the menu in front of me. I was asked if I wanted a plain or butter chicken... since butter chicken in it self is a higher priced item considering it’s ingredients I opted for the plain, thinking that it might be less in price. Now I have no trouble paying for good food. But this was my first time. So I thought I would play it safe. Turns out the plain is the same price as butter chicken. If I knew that I would went all the way and got the butter chicken for $15.00. Guess if you’re looking for a cool place to hang for a drink and got money, this could do it. If you’re hungry and on a budget. Shamrock burger is a 2 minute walk. Good luck!

Was a great place, with a great vibe. The dark walls and the food were spot on. The owner was very friendly and made sure he came over to introduce himself. I would recommend the short ribs and the lamb sliders. There was also a DJ playing live music and the game was on which was great.

The entrance has a sign that says, Please Seat Yourself, yet as I make my why to a booth, I am asked if I have reservations. Unable to have a margarita, or anything with tequila for that matter. I ordered a gin and tonic, as I glanced through the menu. The prices seem a little high, as I look around as other people are being served. For example, the butter chicken for $20 seems to be mostly rice, and not much chicken. The worst part of my experience, was the lack of proper beer.There was no IPA available, on tap or bottle. Apparently, the keg ran dry, and this was on a Saturday evening. If you like craft beers, this is not the place for you. If you like Coors light and Molson, you can find a more affordable restaurant around.

Staff were friendly and polite. I want to give a higher score but I can't. Everyone enjoyed their food. My main issue was the prime rib. I couldn't ask for doneness. I wanted rare to medium. To the credit of the staff, they didn't promise I'd get medium. The prime rib arrived well done. It tasted fine, but it was overcooked. My expectations were well managed but I was still disappointed. I would go back for the chicken and waffles. I can't comment on the wine bar, but the draft beer selection can use a better selection.

LOVED this place. We went for my parents anniversary and had a great time. The wings were delicious (I got the honey garlic) and very generous. Everyone at the table got something different and no one was disappointed (special shout out to the avocado chicken sandwich, sooo good). We also got a pitcher of Sangria, try the rose one, it was delicious. Dessert was amazing too, we got the waffle and the cheesecake. The owner even came by to check on us, he was incredibly nice and gracious. They have a great patio too! Go and enjoy.

We went on the Thursday when they had a live band. Music was okay but it was hard to have a conversation. The food was delicious though. I had the Bombay vegan bowl. It was flavorful. I would have liked to have more vegetables in the dish but it was yummy.

Been here several times since the old Sofie's closed down. Great food with a wide variety of options that'll make most folks happy. Portions are a bit on the smaller side but that's fine with me. The waitresses are awesome. Always super nice and accommodating. Atmosphere is modern yet comfortable. We usually visit during the week, so it's not busy. They sometimes have live music which is great, or will have sports on the big screen. Worth checking out.

Food was good, server was friendly and it was a good environment However, the server made a joke about my friend being a bad tipper, and now I’m getting home and seeing that our bill was already automatically calculated with an 18% tip? I understand having base tip since we were a group of 8, but commenting about tipping when we were already automatically set to tip 18% *without being notified* really changes my opinion of this place. Some kind of communication issues happening here

My favourite bar to go to! I love the atmosphere of the place and they have my favourite go to drink and the calamari are the bomb! I love to come here to unwind on my day off and the staff are nice and friendly and I always have a great experience every time. Happened to visit this restaurant by chance, but turned out to be a nice one. The ambience is really good. The server was friendly and made correct modifications to the order. I believe this place is run by an indian kerala guy coz I saw a kerala fish fry in the menu; Also, the DJ guy played some kerala songs in between the dj mix and a tamil song too. Bit expensive but a good experience.

Visited this new joint with the wife. We had a great time and the atmosphere was stunning. The owners were very helpful in helping us navigate the menu and their service was great. We highly recommend the Caesar on Fire wings and the Lamb sliders. We also had the egg plant mash up and the mexican chipotle bowl! Highly recommend and will visit again.

Great place with a friendly staff members. Great customer service. We had asked for the music to be changed to the raptors game. With no hesitation they changed it right away. The owner came out frequently to interact with customers and ensured everything was to satisfaction. Parking can get a little confusing, however, there are several parking at the side of the building.

I had an amazing time at Six Social! I reserved tables for my birthday and I was completely floored with their service! It is certainly great spot to hang out with friends and family! Our waiter was super kind and the food was exquisite!!! It's right in the nook of Scarborough in a very quiet neighborhood. Six Social definitely jazzes up the very East-end of Scarborough! I will definitely recommend this place to those who are looking for fancy and affordable place to eat in the East-end!

This is a full disclaimer, I typically don't write negative reviews but I was absolutely disgusted from what I experienced at this establishment last night. The woman manager or supervisor ruined my experience last night as she berated and humiliated one of the waitresses in front of me!! With over 5 years of work experience in the food and restaurant industry I have never been treated or seen a staff member be scolded and humiliated as this waitress was last night. I lost my appetite after this and I could not even enjoy my meal. I will not be returning to this restaurant as I cannot support a business that mistreated their employees as I seen last night.

The Six Social is the perfect spot to enjoy dinner with your family. The service was exceptional - the owner even came out to say hi and chat with us! We enjoyed our food so much, the "tamil-style" calamari was amazing and we had several appetizers plus our mains - their summer menu is awesome! They recently added several cocktails to their menu, and I highly recommend the Empress Flower! We look forward to returning soon :)

Our server Darren was very friendly. The owners were very nice and excited about their new restaurant, which was opened 8 days ago. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. The menu has a large variety of food but it's still simple, the food was delicious. I hope their success continues!

We dined here on valentine's day. Everything went well until it was time for dessert. We sat for over an hour waiting on dessert while other tables were served and checked on. Not one server came to check on our table. I flagged a server down and was told that the creme brulee from the prix fixed menu was "still being made"... for over an hour?? She did offer another dessert. We accepted and then waited another 20 minutes. By that time we were ready to leave and asked one of the owners to get our bill. We were given an apology and a percentage off our bill but this issue really soured the night for us. I think the issue was that there was no dedicated server for our table so no one was checking back to make sure everything was going smoothly. But still, it's not a big place, we will literally siting in the middle of the restaurant where several staff members walked by and no one thought to check in. So much for customer service... we won't be returning.

Perfect. Quick, super yummy, reasonable prices and good portions. I recently ordered seafood pasta, it was just 15$ and good quantity. They send the chicken wings and chicken sandwich wrapped in alum. foil to keep them warm for delivery and the fries/sandwich were marinated and spiced so well. I will reorder. Very tasty.

Met with "Vic", one of the owners and local resident. Had a very good conversation and found out his father is the chef. It was our servers first day and she was great! Chef prepared amazing mussels in a spicy rose sauce and a delicious gyoza side. And i enjoyed a few Moscow Mule's to wash it all down. It's now my go to! Highly recommended.

This lounge is so chic and modern! It has a great ambience with very friendly, and experienced staff. It's a great spot to come relax with friends and enjoy some really tasty food. Service was fine. Beer was cheap (for now, a new place and this is likely their hook). Food was fine, but nothing special and way over priced. $19 for a small bowl of mussels or a hamburger? We really would like a new place to go in Highland Creek, but there is nothing that makes this place stand out from the existing pubs in the area. Would not mind paying a premium for great cuisine, but only pub fare is on offer here and does not warrant the premium cost.

A smaller, quaint place on the outside but full of energy and positive vibes on the inside! Staff were amazing and catered to our party’s every need with stellar customer service! The food was very good, also for those who like a spicy kick like I do. Tamil style calamari is a must try! Didn’t get to try the wines but I sure will return to do so. The drinks were great as well. The owner was very courteous, professional and down to earth. All restaurants should be owned and run in that way with the right people he has. My only feedback is that the bigger table was right beside the live entertainment (which I still enjoyed), which made it hard to converse with everyone at my table and we couldn’t move elsewhere. But we all enjoyed our experience for sure! We just matched the live performers energy! Would highly recommend this place for dates and get togethers for parties of less than 10.

FANTASTIC! A hidden new gem, without a doubt, located in Highland Creek Village, Scarborough. Attractive decor, great ambiance, superb food. I treated some guests from Florida to lunch. We all raved about the flavour, the presentation and the creativity of our selections. For $15, my lunch selection that included a gourmet leek & potato soup, butter chicken enrobbed in house made sauce, attractively presented with basmati rice and garlic naan was bang on for taste, eye-appeal and value for my money. The entire menu appears well planned and creative...definitely has a skilled, talented chef's touch. I will be returning there again soon and will recommend the SIX Social Lounge and Bar to my friends. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Great for just a cozy meal for two or for a table of ten.

staff are incredibly friendly -but not to a point where it becomes overwhelming. Food is so good. I'm kind of glad I don't live nearby, otherwise I would be spending all my money here and trying out everything on their menu. If I had to pick a favourite it would be their mac and cheese. I don't recall the last time I finished a dish as fast as I did with that.

Went to go to Sofi’s for Mexican only to discover it had changed to Six Social so we thought we’d give it a try. The decor is pretty much the same as before - cozy, nice enough. Checked out the wine list and was blown away by the expensive prices! Priced like a nice downtown restaurant not a local neighbourhood establishment. Decided on the vodka sofa special. Came plain - no lemon/lime... had to ask for that... The food prices also seemed high ($23 for Gyros!!) so we both opted for the lamb slider ‘special’ - they were on sale for $13 (from $16). They were actually quite good but more of a large appetizer / munchie (no side with them) so we then ordered a saganaki to share. It was battered with a thick tasteless batter (again, no traditional lemon served with it) and deep fried! Yucky . We scraped the cheese out of the middle :( Perhaps there is a good vibe on a Friday, but on a Tuesday evening there was no music in the background, and no ambience... so, nothing that would bring us back. I wish them well

We've been 4 or 5 times now and have enjoyed it each and every time. Oh man, the lamb burger is amazing. Service is spot on. Atmosphere is very nice.

An eclectic menu that’s a bit all over the place, but small enough that you can trust they know what they are doing. Remarkably good staff will give you solid info on the dishes and don’t mind to stop for a chat if you need something. Sampled the coconut shrimp, smash burger, spinach dip and Caesar salad. All perfectly executed, solid portion size and excellent presentation. When the food looks this good, you’re already ahead of the game. The house specialty cocktails are flawless, and being out of the orbit of downtown means the price for these (and everything else) is a pleasant surprise. High quality desserts cap off a great meal. Lovely little patio with design elements that minimize the street noise. We will be back, and soon.

We came here for a birthday dinner and everything went just right. The staff were ready and willing to help us with the occasion, they were patient with us and allowed us to enjoy their space to the fullest. The food is well priced and very well made. Our party ordered a variety of dishes and none of us were dissatisfied with taste, quality, or wait time. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area; as well, those who are taking a stop by the port union waterfront for a day out should head over to this location to grab a bite after. Came in on Friday was greeted by the owner who sat us down and told us about the specials. Great to see a wide range of food - I chose the wings as an app and o my jerk wings done right! Perfect size and it was nicely marinated not just spices thrown on top. For main I went with the short ribs with fried rice which was amazing! Sizzling short ribs actually sizzling. My server was fantastic and had good wine recommendations - some great wide selection. Overall great ambiance, food and service. My new local spot!

This is the best place to go to have fantastic wine and great ambiance. There is no place to enjoy wine other than the Six social in SCARBOROUGH!!! They have a great variety from California, Italy, Spain, France and the list goes on. I had a chance to speak to the owner who tells me the wine menu was inspired by his friend who is a sommelier at a high end restaurant downtown. The wines were hand picked to pair with the menu perfectly - highly recommend a full body cab (fog mountain) with their sizzling short ribs it was impeccable. I don't know why they aren't called a "Wine Bar" . Great service - and perfect music to set the tone. Highly recommended! So happy to see something in Highland creek that offers a variety of food keeping the menu eclectic. This is my go to spot!!!

Solid place, a little pricy but good quality for the most part. We went there and had the butter chicken which was really good but a little on the pricy side for what you get (I was hoping for a lot more naan bread too) but the flavours there and well done. I wouldn’t recommend the tacos as they felt more on the homemade kinda feel (instead of a salad on the side maybe some pico de gallo and sour cream so you can add to it if you want) and a tad on the pricer side (even on special). Butttt, the wingsss...the wings were done very well! The only thing I had with it was the heat..it was just a little bit over where the heat should be in my view (since only a few wing flavours I expected the hot sauce to be more of the generic hot sauce which isn’t really that that hot but this was intense)..owner is a great guy very sincere, def will be back at some point for those wings but maybe this time..a tad less intense ????

Had the chicken and waffles. It tasted reheated and it came out of the kitchen so quickly it made me skeptical that they did not fry the chicken just then. The waffles were soooooooooooo soggy I could barely get them on the fork, and the chicken had zero crunch. Flavourless. The menu was funny though. Service wasn’t exceptionally friendly.

My first time was a blast of fantastic flavors. The best mix of bar food with a right amount of spices to enrich the taste in a unique way. Love those calamari, wings and short ribs. The best of all is their Kerala Fish. This is my favorite go to place and their service was outstanding.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It has a nice pub menu, though if you're looking for vegetarian options there are only 2 mains. I had the Salmon Teriyaki, which came with teriyaki fried vegetables and brown rice, which was very good.

Was looking for a nice patio with my wife to enjoy supper and came across Six Social Lounge, and immediately was serviced right away. Very polite staff and an easy menu to read. Food was amazing and hats off to the chef. Priced accordingly and would definitely return.

Posting this at 10:38 because I just had to leave the restaurant because they don't want serve even when the closing time is 11:00 pm. If you had to say , you could have said at the gate instead of asking us to come in, give us the menu and then say oh sorry but we can't serve what's on menu but only fried food.. sort it out guys. Either don't let people in after 10 : 30 or give them what's on menu ...poor customer experience and co-ordination amongst the staff

Excellent food, service, and environment. I have been to this location multiple times and I can definitely say that I love the consistency. A perfect way to try some delicious apps is through the social sampler which mixes up some top appetizers on one platter. Also I have to say that my favourite that I always order on every visit are the caesar on fire chicken wings! I would definitely recommend this location so if you have not given it a try it's time to check it out!

Tried this establishment last week. Food was delicious: I had the butter chicken upon server's recommendation, excellent choice if not a little overpriced. I was also happy with the sangria, which was light and fruity and was a generous size. However, they seemed to have an issue with fruit flies, and unfortunately one fell in my drink when it was still mostly full. My server Clair was excellent and made me a new drink, sans bug. Another off-putting characteristic: the loud, hacking cough coming from the kitchen. Someone making the food was very clearly sick and that definitely made me lose my appetite. I don't know if maybe they didn't have enough staff to cover for someone who is ill, or if they just don't know, but no one wants their food coughed all over. All in all, delicious food, excellent service, and welcoming ambiance. Maybe just needing to address a sanitary issue regarding sick staff and fruit flies.
