Great gem in downtown Sarnia! Way more than a great local pub - the food and drinks are top shelf. A selection of local craft beer, some unique cocktails and really great food. The vibe is great too, both inside and outside the restaurant. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Perfect for a casual week day lunch or dinner and drinks on a Friday - highly recommended ☺️

Visited on a recent Saturday for lunch. My friend had fish & chips which were excellent! I had the Prosciutto flatbread which was also very good. It would be helpful to have a printed beer menu as it’s difficult to read the chalkboard menu if you’re not sitting at the bar. Server was working both bar & tables so was somewhat distracted. Otherwise a good visit.

We went to the Tin Fiddler for the first time last week for my husband's birthday dinner while my daughter was in from Toronto. The drink selection was amazing and food was very good. Staff was very friendly and service was great. We will be back.

Am I invisible? Did I not wait long enough? I was excited to try this new local brew pub, even though I dont drink beer. The decor/interior looked interesting and unique when we walked in, and we were welcomed by a 'seat yourself' sign. We chose a small table for two right beside the bar with a view of the street outside. We waited over 10 minutes and were not greeted by any bartenders or waitresses (I was able to see 4 ladies behind the bar and waiting tables). No drink order, no menu provided besides the drink card on the table. No eye contact from any staff - the place didn't seem packed or overly busy. Hopefully this is just an unlucky experience on my part - I've never felt invisible in a restaurant/bar before.

One of my fave places to grab drinks with my girlfriends. The waitstaff are phenomenal, the atmosphere is unmatched, and the food and drinks are always out of this world. Always one of Sarnias best!

I enjoyed my sandwich quite a bit although the bottom of the bun was quite greasy and soggy. The salad was nice and fresh and the fries were nice and crispy with a lot of flavor. My daughter had a flatbread. She enjoyed the flavour but again very very greasy. Maybe the bread was deep fried? Not sure. We liked the ambiance. A cool industrial vibe with some quirky antiques thrown in.

It was fine. They had a nice cocktail made with Earl Grey tea. Subtlety was not it's strong suit, but it was pretty tasty. The food looked good and my compatriots seemed to enjoy it.

My boyfriend and I went here for rare nights out, we were so excited to try something new and without kids. He ordered the salmon bowl and said it was only okay and very small portion for the price, I ordered the burger and it looked delicious…. But it was over seasoned, over cooked and rock hard. The burger had lovely thick bacon, smoked cheddar cheese and pickles that got lost to the over seasoning of the patty. We both ordered a cocktail which were both delicious. The atmosphere on the patio was nice and the drinks were good but that’s the only reason we would ever go back.

It's been a long time since I've had such an enjoyable experience dining out but this is one to talk about! Fresh, friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in, light, uplifting music, and exciting drink and menu options. Flavour combinations that awaken your senses; so many things you love that you would never think to put together. Presentation was great, food was fresh and tasted fabulous. Will definitely be going back here many times.

I took my husband there for his birthday with friends. First time for all of us. Very impressed with the food. Beer was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. My girlfriend had the charcuterie board and it was absolutely delicious. Will be going again soon.

What an ABSOLUTE fantastic locale! Holy wow. I had NO idea what I was walking I to as this building has been alot of businesses over the years...some pretty sketchy! Alas, the sketchiness has left the building! What a superb pub/bar/industrial loft feel this place has. The food is AMAZING. It is hard to believe this place had alluded me for this long given how much I love Sarnia. Our server was an absolute joy to be around...thank you Kandace for your professional level of outstanding service. Be sure to try the Tin Fiddler burger and a nice Cave Spring Reisling to top off your evening. Do not miss this establishment when in Sarnia! Right by the Imperial Theatre in the heart of downtown. GEM status from this goggle mapper! *****

Beautiful patio in downtown Sarnia. Feels like you're in a bigger city. Great food! And awesome drinks. We had a smoked chicken flatbread a few of their beers, and a Mojito. And everything was delicious! The staff were all so great at adhering to social distancing as best they could!

Love this place - so unique, especially for downtown Sarnia!! The food is great - I especially recommend the charcuterie plate, or one of the flatbreads! The drink menu is amazing - the cocktails are well crafted and delicious. The Tin Fiddler really shines after dark - the outdoor courtyard patio glows with string lights and there's often live music (or open mic night, on thursdays! It draws a crowd!). The seating inside the restaurant is great, too. The staff is eager to explain and recommend off of their beer menu and so far I've not had cause for complaint!

Had the sauteed shrimp and some drinks today. The beer selection is amazing and the food was insanely good! The shrimp was perfect and the sauce was soooo good! I come here quite often and have never had a complaint! Definitely try the charcuterie board too! Must try.

Ambience is nice, if not somewhat dark. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The person I went with got the fish tacos and said they were great. I on the other hand got the crispy chicken sandwich (hamburger toppings*) and fries, and was not impressed. Both me and the person I went with thought the chicken was off, maybe even Fishier tasting then the tacos. I'm not sure if it was an off day or if that's how it was supposed to taste, but if was NOT good. 2 bites in (1 from each of us), and that was enough to warrant letting the server know and not even taking it to go.

Great place! Enjoy the food and drinks. Good atmosphere! Great unique selections of Thornbury ciders! My coworkers and I came for our staff Xmas party a few weeks ago. We had a room to ourselves which was really nice and private. I loved the selection of cocktails, lots of unique ones, and everything tasted great. The menu also had something for everyone. I enjoyed my vegan jackfruit tacos and Thai cauliflower appetizer. Service was friendly and prompt in spite of our large group. I would definitely come back, especially in the summer to try out their patio.

Easily my favourite place to go when visiting Sarnia. Throughout the entire pandemic I have felt more than safe with all the precautions and protocols that the entire staff is following. Always extremely friendly and excited to have you in the restaurant. The beer selection is awesome and the guest taps are a great feature if you want to try something new. Extensive menu with options for everyone. Very pleased with every experience I have here, this is exactly what Sarnia needed. The only complaint I could ever have is that the watermelon beer is not offered all year around - but I can find it in my heart to forgive them for that.

Love the vibe and atmosphere here. Do expect to spend a couple more dollars on your meal for higher quality dishes - portions are good too. The patio is great and the interior of the building looks amazing as well. Definitely recommend. Didn't get our servers name tonight but she was phenomenal. Keep up the good work!

LOVED, loved, loved our dinner! we went out for our anniversary, child free for the first time in literally months if not an entire year. The dill pickle app we had was incredible, i had steak sandwich which was also so great! yummy drinks and love the outdoor patio. such a vibe!

I’ve been to the Tin Fiddler multiple times and each time has been wonderful. Their steak sandwich is wonderful, as well as the Mac n cheese bites. All of the servers are friendly and engage in conversation with you. Overall a wonderful place to be, inside and out.

The last time I was in this building it was called Trinity! It’s now a restaurant with patio seating. I was visiting Sarnia and haven’t had opportunity to go to restaurants in town so I’m not sure how it compares to the other options there today. I give it’s a solid 3 ⭐️ by London ON standards. The atmosphere is really nice though. There was a cool pass-thru window to the patio and LOTS of craft beer on tap with a great drinks menu (I should have taken photos of those). I was there midday Saturday for food, I could imagine it being a great place for pints, socializing and bites once restrictions are fully lifted! I had - FISH N CHIPS - fish was crispy the double deep-fried french fries were not crispy but they had malt vinegar so I drenched them. The tartar and bit of creamy slaw were good. -DILL PUFFS - thick dough shaped like a pierogi deep fried stuffed with cream cheese, dill and chopped pickles. The filling was good, if the dough was a bit thinner or they made this with phyllo dough ???? it would be a 10/10 -CRAB CAKES - my mum had these and we both thought they were a bit salty but had a great texture and crispy outside which you don’t see everyday. THE SERVICE - Top notch! Lovely server who had helpful recommendations and made sure we were having a nice meal! 10/10 for service!

Ordered the deep fried Mac and cheese and the fiddler burger with fancy fries. Mac and cheese was really good, burger wasn't bad. Fries were kind of soggy and just blah. The waitress was really nice but I did have to wait a while for her to get bill. Really nice industrial look Inside.

My favourite place to be in Sarnia! Hands down some of the best menu selection, customer service and cocktails. Truly something for everyone whether you're stopping in for a quick business lunch or plan on spending hours with your friends. The atmosphere, the music and the décor simply add to the all over incredible experience! This place is a MUST when bringing my out of town company somewhere to eat. Love the Tin Fiddler!
