We went to this lovely restaurant Ferrari last dinner before returning home from our honeymoon today the waiters and waitresses very classy super friendly and totally focused on your dining experience if you happen to see a waitress named Lucy she is amazing it was a gourmet dinner with the ultimate presentation and with our dessert since she found out we were on our honeymoon she put a little candle in our dessert and served us up that and offered a picture of the two of us finest dining experience I think we've ever had if you go to the Best Western Premier aristocrate in Quebec City definitely spend at least one evening dining at this restaurant. La Fenouilliere ranks among the highest class dining spots we've known

Our second time eating at this restaurant. Food was good the first time so we decided to go again. The food was good the service also but after the meal I got severely sick. I mentioned that I had a seafood allergy but I think my meal (dish) was cross contaminated. I was so sick !!! I called the restaurant they said they were very careful and maybe I had another allergy. Not so! That was not what I expected from this restaurant. I will never go back again as I suffered a great deal last night.

So I stumbled in here off the street. This place is attached to the best Western and I need a place to eat. Yes, it was expensive, but wow was is good So I was traveling from Halifax, and I find better fish in Quebec? What's the deal. Needless to say, the culinary techniques here are more refined and it shows. I ordered the tuna steak which was grilled perfectly. The sides were a mix of our pureed and whole vegetables. The balance of fresh grilled fish, pureed root vegetables topped with fresh vegetables was a perfect blend of fresh, rich and wholesome. I have never felt quite so fulfilled by a seafood dish. To top it off, the staff were excellent. They worked with my English and broken French and ensured I was cared for. If you are willing to send a bit more, this place is worth it. Excellent job.

Service is absolutely terrible. Food is good but not spectacular. They bank quite a lot on the fact their supposed "high end reputation" and pay little attention to the service. There are better restaurants in old Quebec for the same price and you'll get a much better service. I say avoid this place.

We have just returned from a three week tour of New England and the cities of Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec - our very best meal throughout the whole holiday was at La Fenouilliere - we had two meals there and they were both excellent and very good value. We found the service to be attentive, professional and very appropriate - the food was very well presented and tasted delicious.
