We have all the opinions of real people who bought the services of Kimono (Winery) in the territory close to Sainte-Foy (Canada).
Now the business receives a score of 4.6 over 5 and that score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is almost the best one, and it's based on a very high number of opinions, so we may say that the valuation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

Best sushis in town!
Probably the best sushi place in town. The "Maki Surprise" is a must.
It's expensive, but you won't find a better sushi restaurant in Québec. They're the best.
Waited an hour after ordering "Chef's choice" sushis then we asked if it was about to come and we've been told our plate was being set. We waited an other half hour before we decided to pay our beer and go to another restaurant. We've never been told it was supposed to be more than an hour and a half to get our plates before we got here and at the end we were told it's a "normal" wait time at this restaurant. So if you want to eat by 7PM you better get there by 5-5:30PM... There was also heavy construction in the streets around and we had to find our way without also being noticed when we reserved before... This was so disappointing since I had decided to bring my wife there for her birthday. It was also very difficult to move between the tables to get to ours. I remember that the sushis were great but this experience is now keeping us from going there again.
The best in QC. Try the "Maki Surprise"
Was pretty hungry and had cravings for sushi. Googled for the best sushi in town and found myself at kimono. Service was good and sake was decent. The sushi itself ... not so good. Whilst the fish itself was fresh, the rest of the it was rather lacking. A good sushi requires good fish, aged to maximise flavour. The rice has to be warm, not cold. The rice vinegar is equally important in binding the rice and imparting flavour, often to balance the fat from the fish. Sadly did not find any of those qualities tonight.
Good food. Crappy parking
One of the best Sushi bar.
It is a very well located restaurant, but lacks parking. The one available is paid, but the restaurant offers 1h30 free - and that won't be enough because the waiting time after ordering is just outrageously long. There should have an option to say if you don't mind waiting almost 1h30 for your food, or if eating is really what you want. Staff is mediocre. They do work well, when they work since we felt they are mostly absent (except if you order wine, according to wife). After an almost eternal wait, the food comes and it is delicious. Large rolls, tasty food, very well presented. However good food was simply not enough to convince us coming back anytime soon, especially when everything is considerably more expensive compared to its nearby competitors. Honestly, the waiting time was really what killed our mood there.
Kimono Sushi has such a great atmosphere. I enjoy every second of it and I am never deceived. Great decor, excellent customer service. Creative food presentation, makes you want to order their entire menu.Food tastes execeptional. Best Sushi Bar in Town for sure!
This place is really good, excellent service, a bit pricey but well worth it.
The food was excellent. However, we had to wait for a full hour before we had our sushis on the table. The waitress told us that this waiting time was normal for sushis on a Friday.... Moreover, because of the waiting time, they served us a soup to compensate... but they charged it on the bill!! So, in a few words, great food but long waiting time!
Best Sushis in Ste-Foy, beautiful restaurent.
One of the best places I've been to eat sushi! Plus they have octopus sashimi! Fresh sushi is the best sushi!
Everytime i come to Quebec, which is about 6 times a year,I always come and eat here. The tartar and sushi is amazing....
Bad sushi place
Japanese chef with a great respect of the art! Sushis
Kelan, Umi sushi and Maki surprise. Highly recommended! Very carefully plated and the service was outstanding! If you want grab a bite that mixes the traditional style and more experimental sushi this is definitely the place!
Very tasty! Large sushi’s were well worth it.
Great sushi, but must reserve in advance otherwise unbelievably long wait..
This place is very underrated in my opinion. It is not an all you can eat sushi place but you need to realise that they serve quality food and service. The sizing of sushi orders are larger than your regular sushi joint but they taste …
Excellent sushi
Greatcsushi, lovely space.
Sushis are close to being the best in town. Service was so so when i ate lunch there last time and take outs are often a little late. All in all, it is a must!
Best sushi place I ever went, for people that like sushi it’s a must ???? ???? ????
You have to go and eat sushi here. I have been for lunch and dinner and it was a great experience. I like their lunch menu. The great match is that they have a really good services and you can taste the quality of their products.
The food is very good, portions are generous, and the service is friendlyzhowever if it is even slightly busy, it can take nearly an hour to receive food... not ideal for a timely lunch break.
I've had Japanese food in many places in the world and I know it was not my brightest move to seek out Japanese in Québec, but we have a teenager who really wanted it. We planned to go to more highly regarded place, but it was closed for vacation. This one had an OK reputation so I lowered my expectations and we went. The service was good. Some of the food was OK. I liked the beef tataki. Everything was overly sweet. I have NEVER EVER EVER heard of a Japanese restaurant that doesn't have soy sauce. What they served with my sushi was some sort of mixture of soy and sugar, possibly with some vinegar or water = VERY STRANGE. But when I asked for normal soy, they said they didn't have any. WTH?!!!! Any place that doesn't have soy sauce and calls itself Japanese should shut it's doors.
Bad service, really long, more than 10 min only to be placed (the place was empty) and really expansif!!
Good!!!! ❤❤❤
Best sushi restaurant in quebec city
Most amazing sushis I’ve had in my entire life. Great “lounge” atmosphere and very good service. We went there the first time during busy hours and yet we were served promptly and courteously. We liked it so much that we went back the next day during the late evening for a quick meal and we were in and out in under half an hour. Very impressed!
Clearly overpriced sushi in my opinion. I feel like you get charged for the club part. And for the price of the sushi you get the cheapest chopstick. Note: make a reservation as their service is quite slow.
The only - is the long time you have to wait after ordering. Everything else is perfect
Bit of a wait but perfect food
great food and great place
This place is the best sushi in Canada. Impeccable quality and atmosphere. Every time I travel for business, I need the Salmon Maki Surprise. Out of this world delicious. I highly recommend, be sure to place your order early ;)
Service is way too slow. But the butter dish is always good. Their tartar is my standard for good tartar now.
Food is amazing, those maki are huge and so tasty. A must if you are in Quebec.
That is the best shushi ever
Lovely place
Good restaurent, really big sushi, price is normal but high... vibe is good, sushi fresh , access is in general accommodation building...
Excellent sushis. They are a bit expensive but totally worth it. Diversity, quality ingredients, freshness and creativity. A must for a sushi aficionado...
My favorite sushi place in Quebec. The food is simply extra delicious. The restaurant is bieutifull and clean. The service is great. I go there every single time I can. I think you pay the right price for what you get. The plates are also a work of art. I truly recomment. For family dinner, romentic dinner, for lunch. Any occasion is good to go to this restaurant!
The food is to die for
A bit expensive and the menu never changes, but the quality is very good and portions are very reasonable
Nice place. Overpriced
Great ambiance inside! Did not notice any instructions on parking, would have been helpful when trying to decide where to park. We received great service, food was reasonably quick to arrive and presentation was fantastic. Definitely a place to try!
Just visiting the city and we wanted some sushi, sashimi and rolls. The staff was welcoming and very hospitable. Ordered the 10 piece sashimi plate, 10 piece sushi plate and some rolls which when delivered looked like a work of art. The fish was cut thick and was very fresh including higher end selections (i.e. scallops, octopus, tuna, salmon and butterfish). The price was accurate based on the quantity and quality. Parked underground and was in and out within 1.5hrs. I believe you pay the difference if over that time limit.. no big deal at all! Next time I want delicious Japanese food we will come here without hesitation.
Delicious. Big portions.
Best sushi in town!
Excellent service (albeit a bit slow, but the sushis are absolutely worth the wait), nice ambiance, and honestly the best sushis I've ever had. I go back there as often as I can afford!
The most delicious sushis in Québec! :D
Cozy sushi place, great ambiance. Awesome service also. Not a wide variety of options on the menu, but the sushi were well made.
Luxury, delicious and perfect chef
Very good
Great sushi, great experience, the decor is also on point. Although the food was absolutely delicious, I have to say that it was definitely a tad overpriced. I may go back... On very special occasions.
Delicious sushi!!! Ordered Kelan and this was a great choice and enough for 2 people!
Very nice sushi best in town
Best sushi in town
Kind staff, delicious sushies
Such a great experience at this restaurant! The food was awesome, the servers were kind, the ambiance is relaxed and perfect for a date or a meal with friends or family!
The best poke of salmon ever ! :)
Very good food. Shame about the long waiting.
It took an hour and a half to get our main order. It was a little busy but still way too long. Prices are a little high. Otherwise very nice atmosphere and servers.
Lunch service is pretty long and there are very few vegetarian/options options on the lunch menu. But the staff are friendly and my meal was tasty.
Sashimi plate was very good, butterfish was amazing, rolls good. Very nice atmosphere, love the lighting, staff very friendly.
Amazing Japanese food. Super tasty ! A bit expensive but the quality is totally worth it
Marvelous decor and great atmosphere. Shocked they didn't have edamame on the menu. Small menu but they are meticulous about what they prepare and that's what makes them so special. It's uber fresh and very delicious. Don't forget to order salmon/tuna tartare and salad to start! The staff is friendly but it took an unreasonably long time for food to arrive. Reserve a table ahead of time, preferably not at the bar as it's cramped and uncomfortable.
Loved it!
Absolutely spectacular restaurant!!! The place was crowded, & they squeezed us into the sushi bar. Lucky us! Best sushi ever. There were 5 sushi chefs grinding non stop the hour plus we were there. Great chic ambiance, & very friendly service as well. The sushi platter for 2 was outstanding, & could have fed 3. Interesting lighting.
Great place to eat sushi. You just need to be patient because waiting time is 1 hour average, but it worth it.
Sushi was great but the waiting time is a bit long.
It's a beautiful restaurant that is mostly ruined by the nightclub-y ambiance that they put on. Our waitress was amazing albeit service was long because it seemed like there were only 4 or 5 waitresses for an almost fully packed restaurant. We ordered a salmon tartar which was badly cut, resulting in a mushy mess. Fried calamaris were actually pretty good. We then ordered an assortment of sushis (chef's choice), they were good but certainly not close to any of the best sushis I've had before and my friend couldn't agree more. Lots of promise, but lots to improve on.
We found this place at the last minute on Monday night and the food was phenomenal! The sushi is really good and the fish was so fresh. They are very generous with portions. They only give you 4 pieces for makis but each piece is huge! We had a friendly waitress who spoke fluent English and was very helpful in giving us her recommendations. The only downside was the really long wait times since this place was so busy, even for a Monday, but the good food ended up making it worth it.
For outsiders: this is one of the top Japanese cuisine spots in the City. The food is classic Japanese, with occasional bold twists, the ambiance is modern and chic, and the decor is tastefully punctuated. I am not a sushi lover by any stretch, but there is something on the menu for all and I really liked the sushi that I did have. A little on the more expensive side, but not outrageous. Courteous staff and friendly service with appreciated suggestions. Enjoy!
Excellent sushis and good service!
Super!!
Great sushi restaurant.
Friendly staff and decent food.
Sushis are always fresh. One of the best in town! We always order for take out. The only time we went in to eat, it took a while before we could be seated, even though we had a reservation. But once we got our booth, the service was excellent. Would go back to Quebec City just to eat there.
Best sushi experience in town. Staff is amazingly nice and very professional!
Really love the sushi, great place! Little slow service and menu need a bit more of creativity, too much avocado for my taste but still very very good.
Bit pricey but excellent quality sushis. Great desserts too.
We had a great dinner tonight at Kimono. This was my first visit. We ordered a chef selection for 4 people. You can see what we got from the picture attached. The rolls were all very good and tasty. But the two towers were fantastic. We got the lobster ones. The restaurant is very busy so make sure you make a reservation before and arrive on time to get your spot. The server we got was also very nice and accommodating.
Perfect!!
Slow service, waited at least 1 hour for the sushis to arrive
Stopped in for lunch and although it was busy it seemed to take some time to get our order. Even when it was mentioned to the server, there was no explanation or even an apology. Food was great but make sure you have time to spare.
Wow
The place is nice and the food is ok. The waiting at the table is quite long before food is served. This was the first time I saw hot sake served with glass/crystal glassware. Finally I asked for Tuna and instead was served with Salmon. Once I raised the issue with the waitress, O got the explanation that I’d ordered Salmon!
Atmosphere is very enjoyable, the staff is smooth and upbeat, this place is a really nice restaurant, easy parking
Love it!
Great sushis, great services.
Great place
Great American style sushi. Amazing atmosphere.
Not bad. But rolls are too big. Little bit crowded so I spent time.
best sushi In quebec
Very slow, very slow!
The Makis are far too large for single bites. Eating them with chopsticks makes a mess and there's no way to make them smaller. The restaurant tries to look fancy but only its presentation makes it look like it. The music is loud, the food is alright but not that special. The cost is definitely not worth what you're getting.
Awesome sushi.. some of the dishes are great with selfies.
Good sushi!
Best sushis in Quebec City.
Best sushi I've had in Québec city so far!!!
J'adore
Great service, excellent food, fair price. Highly recommend Kimono!!!
Very nice
Best sushis and great ambiance!
Best sushis in Québec.
Great quality and perfect quantity for lunch. No a 5 because I never give a 5... Unless ????
IMHO - The best sushi bar in Quebec. The owner works the bar himself and ensures the quality is there everytime.
