June 2017 Back on the Island. Same great beer - 2 paddles of the Expert. This time we had the fish and chips. It was alright. A bit of a letdown after the amazing lunch we had last year. August 2016 Great lunch and beer tasting. Nice view down to the river from the deck. The local sausage plate and vegetable ravioli were delicious! We sampled the Classic and Expert. The American hops pale ale was nice and citrusy. The maple beer was unique. They also had a Scotch Ale that was incredible. Worth trying.

If you want overpriced shitty food please go here. Before you order ask them if their hamburger comes frozen from wallmart. Burger cost $13 dollars. I feel like a fool for not sending it back. Fish is also frozen from wallmart. Do not eat here...the previous ratings are from the kids cooking the frozen food or the owners. Rating of 4.3 is a load of crap!

First thing to say: be patient, if you don't like to wait and you are very thisrty, go to another place. We were a group of 8, the waitress came to our table 25 min after we arrived, then we wait 15 minutes to receive our beers. All our stay there was the same, very slow service. Maybe they need to increase their staff. Good microbrewery beers, meals OK, I order a pulled pork sandwich, not too tasty. Beutiful view to the backyard and the river, Ile d'Orleans is a very beutiful place. So, if you have enough time to wait, worth it to go there drink some beers and watch the river :)

A basic microbrewery that serves the standard white, blonde , red and noir. May benefit by expanding selection with a few more craft brews. The scotch ale was good. The food is decent with appropriate portions. They have outdoors patio setting as well. The location is great for the brewery as it's located on the little islanf just outside Quebec city

The place was so beautiful with a wonderful view. Waitress was polite and smiled all the time. For drinks I ordered selection of microbrewery that was great. For food, I ordered fish and chips. Two pieces of fishes with salad and fries were enough for me. The food was OK. The fish smelled fishy and unpleasant for me and i couldn't finish my plate. I will go back there again but I will never order the plate of fish and chips in there.

Really beautiful place. You can see the brewery equipment from inside the restaurant. The big garage doors gove you a view of the river from inside. The deck looks like it would be wonderful in the summer. Food was great as well. We had the wagyu burger, comes with a big slab of cheese on it. Seemed like a normal burger for the most part, not the most decadent thing ever as it may sound on the menu. Also had a great poutine. The beer is top notch, i bought four cans of their blanche after we ate.

Nice place to grab some microbrews with a beautiful river/mountain view on the exterior terrace. Food was pretty decent and staff was friendly but like another reviewer indicated, there were an abnormal amount of flies outside. Like enough to bother you while you eat and drink. I don't know if this is a seasonal thing but I would expect they could fix this somehow. If Disney can irradiate mosquitos from their parks, I'm sure they can fix their terrace situation.

We got there at about 13h30, and the place was still crowded. Less than 5 minutes after we took our place, the waitress came with the menus. It took maybe 20 minutes for our orders to be ready, and we were 4 people. The service was fast, good and the employee smiled all the time. The food itself was pub-style and very good, with a unique touch to it. I can't understand the previous reviews stating it they have a slow service. When going to any restaurant, expect to wait a bit. If you can, go to some fast food joint.

We stopped here for drinks and dinner and it was probably the poorest dining experience we have ever had, let alone in Quebec. We recieved our flight of beers relatively quickly, however, that's about where the quality customer service ended. We waited an hour to order our food. Just as other reviews have said, we watched tables that arrived after us be serviced and finish their meals well before anyone checked on us. The burgers we received were hardly gourmet: the beef burger was pretty bland and the chicken burger seemed like it was boiled instead of grilled. The fries were lukewarm and best and definitely the leftovers from the fryer. The salad was a soggy pile of lettuce, with single slice of tomato and cucumber on top. Like others mentioned, there was food on the floor, I walked by a knife on the floor and our cutlery was stained. My boyfriend is Australian (I'm from Ontario) and we only spoke English with the staff. We've heard that sometimes service for English speaking customers, we hoped that wouldn't be true but it felt like that was the case.

Parking very limited and difficult to get in and out of. Customer service very poor - Sat forever watching others asked if they needed something more while waited to be served at all. We're not sure why...is it because we speak English??? The thing we've learned about Quebec city is they often do not serve food between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. beware and be prepared. Yikes! I wish them a speedy recovery during COVID so they can run smoother. Just took a look at the other recent reviews and I thought I was the only one! I went the week of August 8th and my 'quick lunch' took about 2 hours from my day as I tried to hop back onto the road to complete my Isle D'Orleans tour. I could have visited a few more wineries but this restaurant sucked the life out of my day - I could not flag anyone down and food took outrageously long to arrive and was inconsistent! Other tables who sat down later than I did had finished their whole meal before us. I ordered fish and chips and my partner ordered chef's salad and they brought the wrong salad (I did not have the time or patience to let them know for GOD knows how much longer it would've taken to correct this) and my fish and chips were burnt and it felt like they've re-used the oil many times over. Avoid for the time being! I'm sorry - I tried being as understanding as possible during COVID but this is extremely sub-par given what other restaurants are being able to cope with and it was THE most disappointing meal during my trip. Yikes!!

Very disappointed by the service. We waited in a long line. The couple in front of us was told there was no food (it was 2 pm). We were told we can't be accomodated for drinks even on the patio because we had a small dog which sat on a stroller. Quite unfriendly and unprofessional... There were several patio tables where no one was seated. There should sign, "No dogs allowed ", so people don't have to wait in line to be told so. We enjoyed the local bier somewhere else!

Nice open space with a view of the river and mountains. Beers and food were tasty. Staff was friendly. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food to arrive, but luckily we were not in a rush (although we were hungry)! Only complaint: We were seated at the bar so we witnessed the bartender sweating profusely over the beers he was pouring (literally drops of sweat falling from his forehead) and he would use his hand to wipe his brow and then handle glasses from the tops. At one point he dropped a slice of fruit onto the wet counter and then picked it up and put it on a glass (not one of ours, thankfully!). This place is worth a visit when you're on the island -- just keep an eye on how your beer is poured!
