What Started out as a good night, didn’t change it was still good because we weren’t gonna let the moron bartender change it. We walked into an empty bar and tried to pull two tables together to accommodate 6 people. The d bag bar tender leapt out from behind the bar and accosted us. Told us we had to sit in the back if we wanted to sit together.

Picked up a Christmas 3 pack + Glass at my local LCBO. I have only tried the "Twice Checked Chocolate Cherry Porter" thus far, but if the other 2 are this good, you have a new customer. Great product and love supporting Ontario Craft Brewers! You get a 1 star review however, because I have sent you 3 emails sals inquiries between Dec and January without a reply to date. Check your email and reply to your customers!!!!

Love their beer, make the 2 hour drive occasionally to get beers not supplied at the LCBO. Decided to stay for a drink with a friend this time for a change...don't know if I'd the service was exactly bad but the lady that served us definitely annoyed the hell out of us. Continuously asked if we wanted another drink despite telling her repeatedly no thanks and we were deep in conversation. Then she pushed a snack menu on us, came back and stared at us till we looked up. It wasn't busy at all yet we very much felt like she was giving us the message to buy more or leave. I was very tempted to pull out my receipt and show her that I'd already spent $100 there on beer that was in my trunk. We elected to pay our tab and leave. I will be back to buy more beer but I definitely won't be sitting down for a drink next time.

I bought a groupon for Railcity and left a raving review specifically for the bartender than gave us the tour. One of the bonuses of doing the tour was getting two free glasses. Upon returning home we realized that the glasses we got were specifically Christmas themed (red and blue with holly and ornaments along with a big old candy cane. A little annoyed they used this opportunity (on March 11th) to unload old Christmas stock but since it was a groupon I wasn’t too fussed. I didn’t think much of it until after we noticed the glasses, but when we arrived we were also offered to pick a size of blue tshirt off the rack (included in the groupon) until we saw a classy white one with a black logo printed on it. There was a sign beside it about getting a shirt with a tour which mentioned a $5 upgrade. Of course we wanted to upgrade to the cool white and black one for $5 and the guy pulled a size small out from behind the cash. The tour was amazing and we had no complaints when we checked out with our growler, when I reminded him we owed him $5 extra for the shirt. He told me something like “oh the white shirt comes with the tour, I just didn’t think we had any left.” It wasn’t until I saw the glasses that I suspect he was trying to get rid of old tshirt merch on top of the glasses. A little disappointed about those actions regardless of being a groupon - the group on got us in and we still bought more stuff on our way out.

The beer is good, and the space is nice. The person helping us wasn't great. She seemed thoroughly annoyed at our presence and made no effort to discuss their offerings, and seemed more concerned with getting us paid up and out the door as quickly as possible. Craft brewers must build their brand, and can't afford to be this indifferent. Keep brewing, but boot the blond with the diamond tooth.

Good selection of types and great potential to be a cool hangout for beer aficionados. Needs a bit more atmosphere/decor design in their bar area to be a comfortable place to drink. Great selection of merch, sizes from bottles to cans growlers and kegs available at reasonable prices. Will definitely be back for more, but I'll have to remember to bring their growler back as they don't fill other breweries' jugs.

Was there last week. We were greeted by someone so apparently worked there, who was sitting at a table putting labels on bottles. When we said we were here to try a beer, she then went and sat down at the table again, and we had to go and stand at the bar to get service. They have a large chalkboard with their beers listed on it, and sadly, a number of beers were out of stock but were not marked as such (or just removed) from the blackboard. We were not asked at any time if we needed any additional drinks until we'd been there for about an hour. We had to keep going to the bar to get more. They also were not busy at this time so the customer service left a lot to be desired. When we did get beer, it was good. The seating and atmosphere was nice - a selection of board games to play was appreciated. Overall, there are plenty of breweries that have better service and selection, so I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again.

Was very busy when we attended today. Turns out they had an art show going on and it made the place very busy. They seemed to attract a good crowd and a variety of people. They have a good variety of beers and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Wish it was closer to London as they offer some good evening gathering ideas and events.

Your last canning of iron spike amber was a cloudy syrupy mess. Not sure what happened but I cried while I had to pour it down the drain. Poor quality control and consistency...totally turned me off from your brews.

Like James' review, the particular staff we dealt with didn't seem in the mood to sell any of her product. Came in and sat down to show a family member from out of town the local brewery. Asked about the product available on tap and she was very annoyed when she eventually had to go through the list and tell us. "whatever you see here" while lazily pointing at the taps wasn't the answer I was hoping for. I was definitely there to buy beer and have a moment with dad sampling all the different available brews. Ended up buying two single cans that I knew I liked and we left immediately. It's too bad as I was really looking forward to another good experience here as I've had in the past. Brunette, 30ish years old. Probably not the person I'd put in any sort of sales position, especially in the competitive craft brew market.

Railway City supplied my bistro with beer products for 6 months. The service was very unprofessional and the company refused to refund us for several empty kegs that were returned. The sales rep constantly showed up unannounced during our busiest hours and when I tried to sort the issue out with upper management, they refused to take the time to review my invoices with me and pay me the outstanding monies they owed. I would NOT recommend any professional organization retail Railway City products.

Food provided by Elgin Harvest. Wood Fired Pizza. You are given 5 choices. Most of the ingredients are from local sources. So it tastes fresh. The best part is the crust is sourdough made. Best pizza crust I ever had. I have wheat sensitivity and I've had no issues and it's now hours since I've eaten. For me this over the top fantastic. I haven't had pizza for years. I'm very grateful for this little pizza company. All the best folks. Job well done.

A Great BIG shout out to the crew at Railway City Brewing. Their help and guidance for our daughters "covid" bridal party was above and beyond. They provided us with the information so we could host a Railway City Brewing tasting afternoon. We served flights of tasty treats. And these girls loved the craft brew. The favorite was the Orange CreamSic Ale, followed closely by PLAYA Cerveza and Train Reaction. The Flame Thrower was a bit too spicy for a couple of the girls but they were happy to put that fire out with Witty Traveler. Overall a HUGE success. Cannot begin to thank you all enough!! CHEERS.

Great value for the tour. It's short but informative. Unfortunately the was a band playing when we were doing the tour and it made it hard to understand what the guide was saying. The beer sampling was excellent and the swag bag was a great touch. Highly recommended.
