Friendly staff and great coffee. Love it

Grant Koropatnick

Instead of going to our usual morning coffee place, we decided to cross the city for something different. Postal Cafe on Provencher Blvd was suggested. What a nice surprise! This is a great cafe with delicious coffee and croissants. A newly renovated space is ready for the post-pandemic re-opening. We will be sure to come back and enjoy the indoor space. Today, we enjoyed our coffee on a nearby boulevard bench in the sunshine. Definitely worth it to stop in at Postal Cafe. THX

Best cold brew coconut coffee I've had

Andre DeBattista

Great FRIENDLY service. Awesome brownie cookie.????????

Wow. My Gibraltar was pretty amazing. The ambience is top dog and the space is cozy...but it does get busy so space is limited. Very cool behind the counter and definitely a return visit is warranted.

Aiya matcha - zen cafe blend, is without a doubt, the best matcha I have ever tasted! A lovely starbucks barista actually recommended it from Cafe Postal and now that I've tried it, I'm officially hooked lol. (plus, I'm saving so, so much money now that I'm not going to starbucks all the time). Delicious!(:

Marina Privorotsky

Simply excellent coffee. They feature a different Canadian roasts every week.

Cozy, trendy little cafe, with a park nearby if you are walking in the area. Me and my mocha spent some time together. They suggested I try the oat milk in my mocha, which I did, and I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'm crazy about it; it may be an acquired taste. She did say how she felt it had a taste closer to milk, so if you are looking for that sort of alternative to milk, that may be the choice for you! They also have almond and soy milk alternatives, for an extra $0.75. The prices are similar to Starbucks, so you are paying for quality here. My mocha was just over $5. The place is a little small, so it may be worth calling ahead to see if there are places to sit. There are also a few tables outside on the sidewalk. I can tell the place is environmentally conscious, given that they provide recyclable straws. Bonus! They provide wifi, and the password is ilovecoffee.

Extremely friendly staff, always welcoming. Make an effort to get to know customers. Most excellent americanos. Always bringing in a variety of coffee beans, they know their stuff! Highly recommend for folks looking for a high quality cup of coffee ❤

Rosita Lopez

A very sweet little cafe on Provencher Ave. I really enjoyed my visit and had a fantastic Americano. My only comment is they only seem to offer 3 kinds of sandwiches on brown bread (can warm them with a sandwich grill), or else sweets. Its a lovely quiet little place :)

Helix Li

Excellent service, coffee above average but personally prefer parlor than here, I got just a small latte and a bag of espresso beans to try.

Nelson Rodrigues

My favorite coffee shop in the city !

Ailsa Chlöe

Pretty good coffee. Experience is low due to COVID, only one person allowed in the store, not even a spouse. Coffee was averagely good and cute shop just can't see much of it at the minute!

Margaux Miller

Quaint coffee shop. Great tea lattes. Stool seating along window and bar top only. Waffles on a stick are a well priced and tasty treat.

John McAvoy

Very friendly staff, tasty coffee and interesting art

Kris “Night Red” Arnott

The coffee is amazing, best latte and amaricano I have had in a long time. Fresh croissants that are always a treat.

Scott Kilborn

The best cafe in the city. Food and atmosphere is the best. Love it.

Glenn Allen

Apres inline skate workout enroute home. Love the St. Boniface ambiance. Support small places.

Brad Harder

I had the best almond latte here last week since moving to Winnipeg! After living in Australia for the last 3 years where independent coffee shops rule the market, I am so glad I found this place to satisfy my coffee needs. Thank you for knowing how to make awesome drinks!

Marcello Nesca

Love this place, it has a homey feel to it, and it always feels like I am travelling to a different country or province because everyone speaks wonderful French! Coffee is great, customer service is wonderful and seating is beautiful (I personally love sitting in front of the windows).

Spencer Hunt

2nd time having a Flat White coffee and they did not disappoint. Nice looking venue hope to visit inside one day soon.

My new fav spot :) Clean, cute cafe! Delicious coffee and friendly staff! Its small with only bar seats to sit at, but lovely for reading/studying They offer a few selections of baked goods - also very good!

Gaston Lopez Ficher

There is no question. This is the best coffee place in the city. It's not just the coffee, it's the place, the baristas. Nothing short of flawless.

White Lion Athletics

Excellent Espresso and wonderful, friendly atmosphere with a lot of natural light. Definitely "a must try" place for coffee!

vineet sidhu

The matcha Latte had balls of matcha powder floating. The first sip made for a really unpleasant experience. When this was brought to the notice of barista we were told that this was new matcha and this is how it was supposed to be. I was quite rude, given that is neither a fact nor a appropriate response to customer complaint.

Annelies

Love this place! Delicious drinks , great atmosphere and location, and the staff are always friendly

Mary F

I enjoy their americanos and London fogs. Delicious loose-leaf teas. Clean, cozy decor with lots of windows. Not much cozy seating-mostly stools and counters. Nice spot for a quality to go drink.

Jadon H

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, indoor / outdoor seating. Definitely worth a visit.

Dimitris Protsios

Nice little coffee shop. We did not had the chance to have our coffee in the shop as I think they are renovating and we go them to go. Great variety, taste and nice service.

CM Edmunds

Good little place to get a drink and a visit with a friend (or relax on your own). I could order non caffeinated tea/iced tea. Small/cozy inside, also outdoor seating. I was pleased to see re-usable straws in use.

Craig Koenig

Service is exceptional and consistently great coffee. They take the time to know you and your tastes.

Kristin Riley

I cannot say enough good things about the coffee and the staff at Postal. Delicious coffee, friendly staff and a great selection of products for the at home coffee connoisseur.

Michael Koch-Schulte

Some of the best coffee in the city. Always in my top three goto spots for taste. Some amazing beans.

Abe Neufeld

????NO to this place,It was a good Saturday afternoon we drove down from out of town to go for a coffee at this place ,we wanted to try it out… we got there the door was locked with people inside look like they were packing up boxes maybe, no hours on the door showing, we tried to open the door and it was obviously locked , total waste the time this place… I don’t know if they’re going out of business or what but instead we went to the coffee shop just west of there next to Bothwell cheese , here it was 5 stars as a common courtesy would’ve been nice for the people to put a sign on the door if you were closed for whatever reason instead of a leaving me and my 86 year old mother freeze out in the cold trying to figure out what was going on.

An ok place to stop in if you're in the neighbourhood. I feel the teas (loose) are old - no real discernable scents from any of them. The water used for it was not super hot, and as a result, the teas didn't steep fully, resulting in a weak 'cuppa'. Either that or there wasn't enough tea in the satchel. The place is quite small/cosy with no real comfortable seating available. I'd go again if I'm in the neighbourhood, but wouldn't go out of my way to make a special stop. Staff is super friendly.

Martin Lussier

Excellent espresso-based drinks at a good price. Nice décor and feel, is definitely a neighbourhood favourite. Service est aussi disponible en français ☺

Christian Bazin

A hidden gem! This local spot has great coffee, a cozy, casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Price is similar to a Starbucks.

Shev Strolls

Great little place, the chai was unique and had a great spicy kick. Would love the coffee options to vary from other Wpg cafes. A different brand would be a lovely change!

Michael Bowes

Fantastic little cafe in the heart of St Boniface. Serving hot and cold beverages in French and English. Amazing sweets from local bakeries, a variety of coffee beans second to none, and a staff that makes you feel like you are invited to their own home. And, if you are up early enough, you might meet Gary. We like Gary. ????

Tourism Winnipeg

Friendly and relaxing atmosphere, this local coffee shop is a great place to go while visiting or walking around Winnipeg's St. Boniface neighbourhood

Peter Koebel

Great professional service. Excellent food and drinks.

Rajan Bala

These guys have been consistent for my cortado runs. The 4 star is for their service and consistency but not giving 5 stars because of my personal experience after trying various coffee shops like Bluebottle/Philz in SF Bay Area to B2 Coffee in San Jose to Vivace in Seattle to places like Fahrenheit in Toronto. In Winnipeg I found Cafe Postal to be a go to shop!

Andrew Schmidt

This coffee shop, in idyllic Old St. Boniface, serves one of the best lattés in the city. The baked goods, while not baked on site, are made at two of the best local bakeries. Service, available in English or French, is courteous and relatively fast... You can't hurry pour over coffees, or some other other stuff they do. Not alot of room inside, but if you want a cozy place to read the paper with a coffee and croissant, this is as close to Paris as Winnipeg gets. Stop reading this and go get a latté.

Corey Jansen

Great coffee, tried their blueberry latte and it surprised me how good it was. Highly recommended

Lols A

Pretty small and intimate coffee shop in the French community of St Boniface. They were out of pastries when we went but the matcha latte was great! Enjoyed our time there.

Laura monk

one of the most pleasance coffee experiences to have in the whole city, great staff and excellent coffee, well worth a visit if your from out of town.

Sarah Graham

Very good coffee, I wish they always had those almond croissants every day! Just wish it was a larger space.

Nathan Ricard

Great coffee and service, love the espresso and various cold brew mixes. Really nice little shop to sit inside or out and have a chat with friends or people watch. Definitely recommend.

Ariana Debreuil

The best vanilla latte in Winnipeg! They use a delicious vanilla syrup that I haven't found any other coffee shop using, and I drink a lot of coffee lol The staff is always so friendly here and always Have a nice conversation with them. The one downside is you have to walk downstairs to get in which is tricky sometimes. A must try in Winnipeg!

Ben Rogers

Amazing experience. Romantic and cozy place - really nice hot chocolate, excellent for a cold winter day. Friendly service and quick. Nice seating areas. Highly recommend

kerwin parada

Good coffee. Iced vanilla oat has the right flavours and not too sweet. Staff is pretty friendly, I would definitely recommend and go back to this shop.

Abby M

My fav morning stop in Winnipeg. Cute and charming little cafe on my route to work. The nicest staff who know my order by heart. I love their cappuccinos!

Mike Jar (mikrom)

Fun and nice place to be. The area makes it very quaint. Nice staff, tasty food and coffee.

J T

Amazing coffee, cheery staff, and fine pastry made this shop a joy to visit. Limited seating along the front window and humidity dogs up class in cold winter months. Seemed like all the regulars were popping in while we were there. Will make a point to be back!

Erin Knight

Great coffee, nice flavours, good social distancing protocols in place

Christine Maurette

Great coffee. It wasn't busy @ 2 pm in the afternoon. They have wi-fi and great window seats. It was cold outside and sadly they don't have a microwave to warm up the pastries but the pastries were tasty!

Marshall Douglas

Great coffee for the awoken coffee lover! Fresh roasted beans available and friendly staff make it worth the trip for an out of towner like me!

Ross McKernan

Great Coffee, lovely ambeince and the most helpful and friendly staff. The Coconut Cold Brew is an absolute must to beat the heat on Hot Summer Days.

cindy lam

staffs are very friendly and the latté aux bleuets is AMAZING!!! love meeting friends here! :)

Ian Swai

The ambiance is amazing and the customer service is top notch. Perfect place for a meet up or date.

Brandon MacKay

Actually there coffee taste better than Tims.

Fabio Carvalho

Best place in town if you're interested in specialty coffee. I'm an espresso lover and very picky about it, so I was very happy to find Cafe Postal after a few disappointing experiences in other coffee shops. They have an awesome coffee subscription program and they are offering delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are very friendly and eager to give you good recommendations if you're looking for some beans. I can't wait to be able to go there again and enjoy a nice coffee with some croissants.

Sidney Shapira

A great little pit-stop for a quick coffee and a sweet, if there are any left. Looking forward to their expansion in the near future.

Flour Treat

A must go to spot in St.B! Have been here several times and love it. Such a cozy little spot facing provencher. Great artisan lattes!

R P

Great coffee, great location! It is always a pleasure to drop by! I also have a coffee subscription through Cafe Postal and they always provide the best service! They have a wide variety of coffee available and their staff (Louis) checks in to see if the coffee my preferences!

Alona Bazlova

Delicious cappuccino! Cozy little place, more for take out as there are not too many seating spots. Loved my latte art.

Luke Patterson

St. B is cute, the cafe was cute, barista was cute, nice to hear some french from the patrons after me.

Ashley Ziolkoski

Absolutely love cafe postal. It is warm and friendly. They have local baking and a nice selection of coffee and teas. You can sit for awhile inside or take your order to go! They have a special blueberry latte available a few times a year, it is amazing. I can't get enough!

Audrey Pinette

A lovely place to get a delicious coffee; great staff & their beverages are always consistent. Also love the treats!

Tyler W

Great little coffee shop. Thankfully they also serve tea for those who dont drink coffee. They have a great London fog.

Ivana Gofordump

Their Cafe, latte are amazing. So tasty.i would recommend anyone to try this place, you will be satisfied

Kimberlie Ohmeis

Cafe postal is amazing and their coffee is absolutely delicious. On this most recent visit, I ordered some baking treats they offered and those were the perfect addition to the already tasty coffee.

Chris Holmes

Open for takeout from the front ‘window. Service was happy, fast and friendly. Coffee was hot and flavourful.

Patrick Carberry

Not only the best coffee but definitely the most personable and warm staff of any coffee shop in the city. The store itself also has just as much personality as the employees and gives off a cozy nyc vibe. A great little walk from the forks.

CJ Bee

My favourite local coffee shop. Always new, inventive coffee and tea lattes, a variety of milk choices, and a comfortable atmosphere. There is also a small selection of pastries and sandwiches, usually including vegetarian and/or vegan options. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but the roast they use is delicious. Highly recommend.

Nick Pizza

Absolutely love this place. The best vanilla syrup in town. Staff are extremely friendly and there is always a good vibe here. Coffee is made to perfection and this place is my weekend coffee treat. I drive all the way here. It's well priced and you can use Local Frequency here for money back, it's great! Highly recommend both :)

Marco Holder

Great friendly & fast service, delicious cappuccino & croissant- my perfect breakfast on the go. In the St. Boniface neighbourhood, small cafe with limited space (from out on the street you can see the Human Rights Museum within sight just on the other side of the river.) In late Feb when I visited they had special drinks celebrating Festival du Voyageur. Without a doubt the best espresso and americano I've had outside of Europe. A small, comfortable place with a great attitude and phenomenal coffee. The runaway best of the four I tried in Winnipeg. I think warm and cozy were invented for Café Postal. And both the hot chocolate and herbal tea were given rave reviews. Will be back every time I'm in town, no doubt.

Daniel Bohemier

J'aime énormément ce café! The staff are friendly and approachable. Everything on the menu is delicious. It adds a lil more character to Provencher boulevard. Check it out!

Shaundra Llewellyn

Very cute little cafe, seating can be limited but still loved my visit, nice little cafe with great menu items will definitely have to go back to try the sucre a crēme latte!

Cafe postal is amazing and their coffee is absolutely delicious. On this most recent visit, I ordered some baking treats they offered and those were the perfect addition to the already tasty coffee.

Justan Suss

Awesome coffee. Looking forward to having a place to sit and relax once they've finished the renos and code cocid restrictions are done

Courtney M

I love the drink items here, the cafe is very tiny with a cozy feel. It's a nice spot to sit and do some work or reading or talk with friends. Maximum seating is approx 8 people for the entire cafe so seating is never guaranteed and goes very quickly. Though there's a ton of great shops and beautiful landmarks to see while walking around the neighbourhood, which is a great alternative if the cafe is full.

Lea Funk

Our favourite coffee spot in the city. We don’t live in St. Boniface anymore, but go out of our way to get coffees here. Always changing bean selection from superb roasters around Canada and the best London fog.

Annaleah McAvoy

Whenever I visit Winnipeg, I always make sure to stop here. Love their coffee and the shop is so cute. Its also right next to a french bookstore. ????
